The energy of this New moon is similar to the one in January in that it is filled with Goddess energy.
Don't worry if you are thrown for a loop by this Black New Moon. Writing this blog and doing this research- heck even scheduling this blog- has proven to be dififcult requiring me to double and triple check dates and symbols! Most astrologers are saying this is happening on the 1st but I decided to be a little different. This is just barely on the 1st. There is also the start of a pattern with this New Moon that I detected throughout the year. Two symbols for this month-Otter- and the Oracle Stone for the Full Moon in Februaray- Botswana Agate- will repeat later this year. We also see the Hermit Card a lot this year (I believe four times but I'm still analyzing the data as I write this in August 2021). Otter is positive feminine energy and Botswana Agate helps us recognise patterns, together with the Theme for this Year- New Power Structure- I feel as though the Goddess is starting to weave togehter a new story for all of us and the pattern starts this month. With this second Full Moon it's as though she tore out the first few stitches and began again. Alright let's get into the symbology! Astrology The Sun and Moon are in Aquarius conjunct with Saturn. In the Tarot Saturn is the Sword that the Goddess carries and she uses it to cut away anything that is not neeed. So this is a Moon cycle of releasing anything that does not serve our relationship, the Collective or innovation. This is a very 'progressive' New Moon (not in the Democratic sense but more in the sense and spirit of Disney's Carousel of Progress). We're okay with Saturn stomping on the breaks energetically because there is still energy that needs to be mopped up from the transformation of the Capricornian institutions. There is a lot of Capricorn energy in this chart. We have a stellum in Capricorn withall of the peronsal planets! Venus, Mars, Mercury and Pluto are all in Capricorn. Venus and Mars are conjunct and in a beautiful sextile with Jupiter in Pisces. While Mercury is in retrograde it is about to come out of it and it's conjunct Pluto. This month, while we are energetically alligned with the Aquarian energy (subconscious/conscious) our hearts, minds, and willpower are directed towards whats ending in our institutions- Finaincial, Academia, and Government. There is a lot of that difficult Uranian energy this month. Uranus is in Square To Saturn (again) but it is also Square the Sun and Moon. Uranus doesn't appreciate all of these delays to the Aquarian energy. Mercury is a busy little fellow even though he is retrograde. He's sextiling Neputine in Pisces, conjnct Pluto, and trine the North Node. We appear to be trying to put together the picture the Collective Narrative has been projecting through the Media (which is also falling apart) and the end of the Capricornian instutitions. Chiron is squaring Mars and Venus in Capricorn while sextiling the Sun and Moon in Aquariaus. As far as Chiron is concerned the best medicene for our wounds is to move on. Lilith, which the name of this moon brings to mind isn't buying into the illusion (square Neptune) and she's supporting Saturn's slow and steady approach. Hebrew Letter- Yod The Yod is one of the smallest but most powerful letters of the Hebrew Alphabet. This has no sound of it's own but it is more of a place holder. This month's Yod is the masculine Yod which looks like a candle flame. The Masculine Yod is associated with Chockmah on the Tree of Life and it's the active principal in the universe. Tarot Card : The Star 17 Eight energy (17) is the number of recpirocaty. In a balanced relationship both partners are giving and receiveing in a harmonic exchange. We can see this balance in the Goddess pouring her water. This is the card of meditation. This card is about the inner journey where we find the inner fountain of life force. This is the card of Aquarius and therefore Uranus, it's ruler. Medicene Card: Otter Otter is the card of postiive feminine energy and sisterthood. Nurturing, joyful, adveturhous, and freindly. Otter allows life to unfold naturally and goes with the flow. Tools I wanted to focus on gratidtude for the Goddess energy this month. Last month I also honored the Goddess as well but I wanted to make a grid with what I call 'yummy' stones that just give me that warm fuzzy feeling. Last year was a lot of Divine Masculine energy (there was a lot of air energy which is associated with the Divine Masculine) and I am so grateful for the Goddess energy this year. I'm going to use a white canlde for purity, Palo Santo incense which I adore, and for water a essential oil called Bonfire. Moonstone Generator: Nothing represents the Goddess more than the Moon and why not use the stone named after the Moon? This crown chakra stone also helps with self reflection and its a calm and soothing energy. Moonstone: This natural moonstone is the one I worked with throughout my pregnancy. This one is just so calming and soft but has so many different little facets that are reflective. I love working with this stone and I feel it has a nurturing energy. Honey Calcite: This gorgeous Solar Plexus chakra stone is perfect for connecting with Mother Nature and Goddess energy. Banded Amethyst: There is just something magical about these stones that I feel really taps into goddess energy. Although usually used for detoxification a lot of women wear Amethyst. The color ont his one is just phenomenonl. Plus this can help us relase all of that Air energy from last year. Almadine Garnet: The Kundalini Root Chakra Stone for Passion and Vitality. For me this stone is absolutely Goddess worthy. Conclusion There is nothing as wonderful as Goddess enregy. Yes, we have some residual from last year with the Saturn and Uranus Square but that energy is going to really shift soon when Saturn scoots out of Aquarius. Just like Mercury this is a Moon Cycle for contemplation of what we learned about our institutions last year, especially the media, and where we think things should go. While we may not find any solutions or know how to fix those Capricornian systems we are making progress. Final Thoughts Now that we are in 2022 I wanted to add some final thoughts here regarding the energy of thise New Moon. I cannot believe how applicable these posts that I wrote in August of 2021 are to the Now moment but I find it reassuring. There is a stubborn nature to this transit. Capricorn can plod its way up the mountain against what seems incredible odds. The mountain side can be verticle and somehow a goat will find purchase. Right now, our experience seems steep with people reacting to the Omicron variant as though it's as bad as the original or Delta (Was that what it was called?) so it may not seem as though we are making much progress. Yet, by insitutions reacting in such an extreme stupid way it's just making it clear for the citizenship how out of touch these people (experts/politicians) really are with every day life for the average citizen. This Venus cycle is also far more in depth then I even touch on in this post. She will be going direct on the 29th. Plus we have Mercury, her brother, also retrograde in Capricorn at the moment and that will be going direct on February 3rd and right now is conjunct Pluto just as Venus was...he will be meeting up with Pluto only twice. Venus met up with Pluto twice already and will meet up with the planet again while still conjnct Mars. Venus and Mars will be conjunct for five weeks which is unheard of and explains why we are hearing about War (the Ukraine issue). I feel as though Venus is being supported in her Underworld Journey by the Divine Masculine and that there is a balance to this that ties into the 8 energy. The Nodes did change into Taurus (North) and Scorpio (South). Right away we had a stock market crash that was the worst that we have seen in a long time. Expect that to continue since Taurus is the sign of the Stock Market and with Uranus in Taurus riding the North Node this year it's going to be bumpy. This was predicted by firms like Black Rock that stopped investing in stocks and started investing in hard assets...not because they had extra money in their pockets and want to hurt ordinary people but because companies invest in real estate for a safe guranteed return when they are worried about the stock market. Finally, I'm experiecing a strange phenomenon that ties in with the balance theme as well. I have noticed the clock saying 4:04, 8;08 and even today when I watched Cassie Spires root chakra affirmation video because I was craving it I saw that I was the 202 view 2 months after she posted it. I just wanted to share in case anyone else is experiencing that. I found it really surprising that I noticed a new numerical synchronicity in my life but the timing couldn't be more perfect. Here is a link to the Balancing Root Chakra Tuning Fork viseovideo by Cassie Spires: https://youtu.be/KcHtG8rFRhg I really believe this balance is rising and symbolized in the Heavens with the Venus transit. That Mars has met up with her during her Underworld journey helping that come to a close and will travel with her for five weeks which is amazing...as I said a totally different energy compared to the ancient story of Inanna who's husband enjoyed her absence and didn't look for her when she was trapped in the underworld. Not only did Mars find Inanna in the Underworld and journeying with her out of it but he's confronting the ruler of the Underworld with her. Even Venus brother, Mercury, is in on the rescue as he travels the Underworld as well to become the morning star. (Venus and Mercury will both be morning stars...and Mars will aso join them in the morning sky in the Month of Love- February.) Personally, in my own life I've been working on balance. I came up with a novel breathing technique (I'm sure someone teaches it already but it was new to me) where I breathe in the love of the Creator and then breath loving appreciation out to the Creator. I also started working on the Astrology blogs for next year. I should have them done in the next two weeks and the energy is fascinating. Next Year Chiron is center stage as it is conjunct the North Node and Jupiter for a few months! I've only reached March but I was surprised to see Chiron in such an important role. I am using the Faery Oracle Card set that I've had since the '90's and the only one gifted to me (my mom had no idea what it was but she got it for me because ahe knew I love faeries). I lost it for awhile and recently found it and it was easier for me to use a different deck for next year's New Moon posts. I also bought my first Tarot Deck. I studied many of them on Amazon before choosing the Light Seers Tarot by Chris-Ann (I was down to two and used my pendulum- lol). I prefer artwork that doesn't have nudity. I laughed when I realized it was the set that depicted David Palmer (the Leo King) as the Devil. The chances of that was slim as I didn't pay attention to what deck it was when he mentioned it/used it onw time (he seemed hurt that was the card they put him on). Even weirder the set arrived super fast to my house even bwfore an order I placed two weeks prior...so I guess it was supported by Spirit! I'm going to start doing a series of vlogs that will post next year where we work theough each Tarot Card. I wanted a modern card set to see what modern people think of it. I also have the Book by Rider who created the deck almost all of the following Tarot Decks are based on and Paul Foster Cases book on the Major Arcana. I will also be using a book for the Minor Arcana by a woman that I read years ago but I need to find the book. I may still get Colette Baron-Reids "Good Tarot" for her perspective as well but I have a lot of her products and she's part of the old school spiritual movement these days (although, I love her dearly). I feel she made the deck because she was asked too and there are a lot of negative reviews regarding the symbology. Finally, when I was describing the energy for this year with my Mother she said something that surprised me. "I know! It's scary!" She's a double Gemini (rising and sun) and she over thinks everything. She also believes she knows everything (so does my Dad- also an Air sign (Aquarius), although, I don't know his rising sign) and she watches NewsMax and Fox. That gave me pause. Why was it scary that the Creator set out an energetic plan at the start of Creation with the planets reflecting that plan so that those with the eyes to see it and the ears to hear the message would k ow what was going on? I find that gloriously reassuring that everything is according to the Divine Path and unfolding as directed. Humans do with the energy what they will but the impulses are all pre-planned to help with the evolution of souls on Earth. I realized it's all of the programming thst makes it scary to her. After all, somewhere it was decided in Christianity (a thought system highlighted with Jupter and Neptune amping up Pisces- the Age and symbol of Christianity- energy) that all of the "bad" things came from an entity called the Devil (that is not apart of Judaisim) and that he is as powerful (if not more powerful) as God. We are caught up in this eternal battle of Good and Evil (sort of a Jewwish thing). So, all bad things (like not being able to buy what you want right when you want it) must come from that scary Devil thst wants to torture your soul in hell* forever...not from God's Divine Plan to help you get over your obsession with material reality while maintaining your individuality and honoring your free will so you return home. Further, the Narrative in the Media is that one political party or the other is evil and conspiring to do all of this...maybe even conspiring with the Devil. The Democrats want to ruin are economy and switch us to scary digital currency to take power away from us and enrich themselves (it couldn't be because the Federal Bank trying to control the economy was a bad idea and led to bad monetary policy that caused then to devalue our currency to the point where we need to abandon it, right? ). I realized trying to argue with all of that programming was impossible. But it made me realize how completely different I view the world compared to most people...and how liberating that point of view is compared to the commonly held socially accepted fear based perspective. In fact, I realized how terribly sad it is that they choose to see everything from that polarity and resist change instead of working with the Divine Will...they are resisting the Divine Call to Awaken and do not know it. I guess it's better then the Spiritual people who see all material reality as evil. Those who think eating most of the food made today is evil or that all Corporations/mass produced items are evil. Losing a bit of Desire Mind is good but at some point your realize that the Creator provided all of this, all of this is part of the Creator and you choose your experience. So, you can enjoy life, enjoy thay occasional piece of chocolate (remembering moderation is heavenly) and experience Joy...or choose to hate it all hoping to be reabsorbed back into Source so that you lose your identity or somehow return to Eden (not the Divine Will or purpose of this Temporary Human Experience but, hey, to each their own). I feel the same way with the agnostic and atheist perspectives. They are even more a victim of circumstance in a chaotic world that science should be able to control if we learned just the right technique. There is no wonder why so many think we need to combine our biology with technology like the Borg from Star Trek. Watching thr Eternals I saw that perspective. A "God" (a physical being called a Celestial) was "killed" because the Eternals realized the will of Areshim (which was a lot like Ego's Plan from Guardians of thr Galaxy) was wrong...a large majority of College Educated Athiests/Agnostics believe that if the Creator does exist that it must be wrong because Suffering exists. As if, somehow, those two negate each other. As my husband told me years ago, "If there is a Hell this (meaning Earth) is it." Both the Polarity Devil vs God and Scientific based Athiest/Agnostic perspectives assume that Creation iais complete. They have no clue that itsit's in the process of becoming/unfolding and that we are helping to create it as part of the Divine Plan. The perception of the Logos (divine pattern) upon which atoms, galaxies, our bodies and material reality are created has been horribly distorted by Humanity. We see ourselves as a Virus outside of Nature and the Divine Plan because we have the "Light" of self-awareness that allows us to create on a levels animals arware not capable. They believe that humanity is a random infection of the Earth and one day we will take over outer space so that we can survive. Further, many believe that, because of this, humanity deserves termination and that machines would follow/agree with this faulty logic and "terminate" us (literally the movie Terminator deals with this widely accepted belief). That's a perfect example of how you create heaven or hell through your perspective while incarnated. For my husband, life is an unfair chaotic hell where you fight for survival...for me it's a heavenly gift and I'm filled with awe as I grartefully gaze and study little bits of the Divine Will feeling beyond loved that I chose/was chosen to be a part of this Experience and process of Creation knowing it is just a temporary experience and that everything has itsit's allotted season that's destined to end. I'm going to use all three of the key words I've noticed since Jupiter joined Neptune in Pisces. I have *Faith* in the Natural Order and Divine Plan while *hoping* more of humanity will experience the *miracle* of Awakening to that reality. The Athiests/Agnostics hate those words so I'm sure they're going to be very uncomfortable until May. References: Perakis, Athena. (2021) Sage Goddess. www.SageGoddess.com Victor, Arisa. The Millenial generation is radically different then previous generations. They are having a huge effect on life expectancy, the economy and even birth rates.
Millenials are those born between 1981-1997. I barely make the cut so I relate a lot more to Generation X but my class (2000) really experienced the firsts that would be common for this generation. A Social Experiment This generation was one of the biggest Social Experiments (not surprising they are the predominant group of adults that the Lockdown Experiment is being done on as well). There was a concerted effort on behalf of the Education System to boost kids self-esteem. There was far less punishment for bad behavior or poor grades. A lot of kids in my grade level were advanced even though they failed horribly. Even in College people were advanced if they didn't do well. That's one of the reasons the phrase 'C's' earn degrees became a saying...sub-par performance was acceptable and awarded in college. They really thought Mental health would be improved by giving them awards. Teachers had quotas regarding the awards that they were to give out every year. Even if no one really stood out in their class they had to choose someone for the awards. As someone who received a lot of those rewards I can say it sucked. I struggled as a student. I had a mom who couldn't read and wasn't capable of helping me with my school work. She had the tendency to get frustrated and do things for me because teaching just took too much time. My mom literally stopped coming to the monthly assembly because I received too many awards (she subsequently missed some events such as a choir performance because she no longer saw the point in attending eventa). On truth, being part of this Social Experiment and how it affected other kids as well...the ones who took it to heart ended up being Egoists. This is one of the reasons that so many of these kids entered the work place expecting to get their butts kissed for just doing the basic duties of their jobs. When workplaces held them to particular standards they simply couldn't perform. They really think they should be awarded just for showing up and a lot of them game the system to be off of work as much as possible. One of the biggest changes I've seen is that the quality of work has shifted a lot. People used to take pride in their work and would strive to give the best work performance possible. These days, with mostly millennials working Customer Service (although this goes for nursing as well) it is absolutely awful. They literally do the minimal amount of work possible and are easily offended leading to them being down right rude. High Expectations A lot was put on the Millenials. This didn't just happen in Esoteric circles, although I will cover that, but by the mainstream and the educational system. I literally had one teacher say, "My generation, the Baby Boomers, have ruined this planet and it's up to your generation to fix it." There was a lot of coverage of Genius kids that seemed to have the solution for things...but while that was hyped up none of that actually produced results. There were a ton of mainstream people who truly believed that this generation would "Save The World'. Among the Spiritual Community there was the whole Indigo Children/Crystal Children. There was a belief that the very souls of this generation was different. So different that they had to be catered to and would intuitively have all them the answers to the world problems. As a result it was believed that they had to be raised in a very different way then kids in the past and there were literally books written on how to raise them. Of course, that's a lot of pressure and a horrible expectation for them to just know the answers and teach their parents. I'm glad my parents weren't spiritual because that could have been awful. Still, I picked up a lot of that information when I got I to spirituality even as a teenager when I went through my Born Again phase even among the Christians! Just look up Indigo Children and think what pressure being taught thould would place on you. Wrapped In Bubble Wrap This generation was the start of the "wrapped in bubble wrap" generation. The most protective laws- from requiring bicycle helmets (most parents also do knee and elbow pads) to kids in California potentially being in car seats until they are eight years old...the parents of this generation treated their kids like glass. Prior generations and in poor countries kids would be going off to work at 8 (at least working on their parents farm). They were trained to use hand sanitizer and antibacterial wipes religiously...even though Hand Sanitizer has led to resistant germs so that when we really need it...it won't work. Until the Coronavirus they had literally decided to stop making it but it was brought back as a placebo for Coronavirus paranoia. As a result this is one of the most Paranoiad and germaphobic generations. Dystopian Preoccupation Between Captain Planet, conditioning regarding recycling and Earth Day this generation has been deeply programmed that the planet has been destroyed environmently. Add to that the idea of Global Warming/Climate Change and you have a generation that believes we have destroyed Mother Nature. If you don't recycle you're evil and yet, at the same time, littering still happens. Granted there is far less littering then precious generations. Not only that but they truly believe, between Academia and Spieituality, that this is the generation that will see the end of the world. Literally, we've lived through so many "End Of The World" scenarios (Y2k, and 2021 just to name a few) that they feel it's inevitable. Being raised without Faith and conditioned that the world is random chaos leaves people feeling antaginostic toward nature and that humanity is under constant threat. Take the idea that people really believe a colony on the hostile planet Mars is safer then remaining on Earth. I mean the logic behind that one is mind boggling bizarre. Most, especially those who have gone to college, have been conditioned to believe that we are so over populated that choosing not having kids is the ultimate duty of being a Global Citizen. Overwhelmingly, film and television overplayed the dystopian future. Hunger Games was definitely the epitome of how Millenials feel about society and the future...but Maze Runner and the zombie apocalypse movies, and that this generation literally bought into droves, really shows that this generation truly believes Mankind will destroy themselves soon. (This belief is also held by Generation Z/Zoomed who, via MTV, called their Generation the Founders because they thought the world would be so utterly destroyed by the time they gained the ability to hold political office that they would have to rebuild it from scratch). Most Educated/Children For Longer This Generation is the most educated and literate that the United States has seen. They wear college education like a badge and many are so addicted to attending class that they became life long students even taking non-credited classes. I so fall in this groulgroup with my MBA, but iiI wenrwent back to school after 23 aoso I didn't have to claim my parents income and I paid off my debt quickly. I also had the wisdom of real world working experience to keep me from buying into the nonsense conditioning of the college professors. I saw them as slightly more successful equals instead of authority figures like mommy and daddy. With the badge of college education honor comes a couple of caveats. First, they were the generation that was treated like children, sheltered and coddled the longest. Prior to this generation people were excited about getting out of school and many entered the workplace as a teenager. For many in the Boomer generation and Generation X they didn't have the option of doing anything other then entering the workplace at the latest 18. An overwhelming amount of Milennials not only went to college (a trend that did start with Gen X) but unlike Gen X they didn't have to work to put themselves theough it. In fact, the college culture discouraged students from working. This means most of them were irresponsible until they were 24. They were not expected to be responsible adults until they were 23. Many were not held responsible far beyond that because they didn't make it out of college after just four years either because thehthey changed Majors or because they decided to get a higher degree. That's at least five years of additional childhood compared to Boomers (who had far more freedom prior to that) and at east 15 more years of childhood compared to the Silent Generation, many of whom worked during childhood on the farm at the very least. This has lead to a lot of adult children running around. "Adulting" became a term because just paying their own rent was such a Revelation to them in their twenties. Getting out of bed at a decent time on the weekends was considered a mature accomplishment and a burden. Second, because many did take out loans regardless if their parents paid because of the absurd college rates they are also one of the generations most in debt despite not being interested in Credit Cards. Most of them unknowingly racked up huge debt because of the impersonal efficient paper work machine that the college simply handed to them each year to fill out to continue. Getting student loans is scarily easily even for low income families because of the belief that the benefit is so great no one should be denied. Since student loans can't be wiped out by bankruptcy like other debts and college degrees are so common they are making lower wages then precious college educated adults and may carry that debt their entire lives. Third, they are the most conditioned not just in when it comes to what to believe about society but also to follow 'leaders'/'experts'. After 18+ years of having to learn how to fulfill teachers expectations (especially in college where debate iais not promoted) to pass classes they respond submissively to authority. Alao, because Academia has become (or perhaps always has been) made up of elitist cliques of people seeking fame in thwirtheir given areas the Group Think is off the charts (hence why debate really isntisn't allowed in college classrooms). Fourth, having a college degree has less value because so many people have them. They are so common an entry level job barely above minimum wage (or internships where part of 'work' actually volunteered) now requires them. Because of their lack of responsibility and the overwhelming student loan debt and they became used to a lifestyle of disposable income a lot of them never left home. They were the generation that failed to launch and prefer to spend their income on reastaurant food (because they never learned to cook), having the latest technology and luxury items/experiences then owning property or investing (which is nearly impossible with student loan debt). Low Marriage And Birth Rates The amount of debt, education about world over population, lack of responsibility, desire for a luxury lifestyle (they call it 'living your best life') and flat out selfishness has led to a low rsterate of marriage and, subsequently, birth rates. Only 26% of Millenials have gotten married (compared to 64% of the Silent Generation). There are still divorces among this group (almost all of the people in my brothers group of friends have gotten divorced and I had a previous failed marriage that I often forge about) although divorces did drop 18% driven by data of those under 45 but that might just be an adjustment since there were an abnormally high amount of multiple divorces for Baby Boomers. Birth Rates have also sharply dropped, especially among the educated. This has happened for two main reasons. First, there has been a lot of Conditioning about over population. Even Bad Religion (the lead singer is a college professor) had a song complaining about overpopulation. There is a monument called the Georgia Guidestones bemoaning over population. Only stupid poor people popped out numerous children. To have more than three kids is depicted as trashy. Second, is luxury lifestyle. Gone are the days where people are just willing to make it work. My Great Grandmother, a part of the Silent Generation, grew up with five brothers and sisters in a small four bedroom farm house. My Dad, with at least six brothers and sisters (some were step siblings) grew up in a three bedroom house. Somehow they made things work even if it meant they skipped on some luxuries. These days, especially among the college educated who worked so hard to get their jobs, people aren't willing to give up luxuries to feed more kids. They need to have their lap top, electric car, cell phone, reaortresort or cruise lifestyle...and kids are going to cut into the amount of extras they can afford. Money is the main reason Milennials cite for not wanting kids but it's not because they're making less then ever before (itsit's hard to make less then Depression Era wages even when adjusted for inflation) but because they would have to give up on their extras- like Grub Hub or car customization or collecting Funko pops or give up some time online gaming- in order to have them. Again, the majority of Millenials are just kids in qdult bodies. They're still getting used to paying rent for their own apartments in their thirties. Therefore, the average birth rate went from 2.5 when Millenials were growing up to 1.75. More Disposable Income/Economic Effect The Millenials are having a fascinating effect on the economy. We are only at the beginning of thst change so I cantcan't say definitively if it is good or bad. Due to the lower quality of work expectations are becoming lower on the part of employers. Since they change jobs so often some companies, like Amazon, literally plan on retaining employees for three years. They demand more work to life balance. They are also driving the demand and prices of luxury goods way up. There is more demand for food delivery (a luxury thst used to be primarily known to New Yorkers), cruises, theme parks, car customization and even National Parks are way up (although, they are less likely to drive so the luxury of ride services is also way up). The strangest areas of the economy are booming and others are lagging. Lower Life Expectancy Sadly, not only are the Milennials causing the marriage rate to drop and the birth rates to drop...they're causing the Life Expectancy cy to drop. Deaths due to overindulgence are the key factors. The two areas that have increased the most is drug over doses and deaths due to alcholisim. Of course, heart conditions related to obesity and diabetes remain the highest but hat started with the Boomers. Over drinking and drug abuse are both normal and even expected behaviors in the Milennial Gemeration. Afterall, this is the Rave "Y.O.L.O." generation. They literally paid to go to parties where it was guaranteed at least one person would die. Again, there is that lack of personal responsibility and accountability. They grew up with the means and the access to focus only on making themselves feel good and looking to something outside them to provide that feeling (materialisim). The Other Stuff I could go into gender equality, the LBGTQ stuff, how creativity is dead, or even CosPlay (a very expensive escapist hobby of this generation) but I won't. Those are a product of many factors. There is a lot of Group Think around those topics which is a product of Conditioning from the Education System. I could even go into how many more of this generation is Spiritually Awake because of their addiction/drive towards education in all of it's forms (there is no problem keeping a flexible mind by always being a student but at some point you have to let go of the teacher and be your own person doing your won research). Yet, again, the topics I already covered in this blog hit on the possible reason. Conclusion The Millenials are changing things...not in the Golden Child who has all of the answers way that was predicted...but itsit's too early to conclude if it is a good thing. They are tearing the traditional behavior of the United States to shreds. They are creating something new based on very basic unintentional behavior. Perhaps they will foolishly unleash Big Brother Artifical Intelligence on us all out of their blind need for safety leading to a Dystopian Terminator/Ultron future. Perhaps, they are merely opening the door to the Aquarian Age. We will see... Of course, on the esoteric side of things they are the predicted harbingers of the Aquarius Age. They are truly the agents of Pluto in Capricorn tearing down traditional institutions...not by deliberate careful design but by their very nature. Either way, this generation has proven that merely educating people doesn't turn a population into thoughtful, moral, and contributing philosophic citizens as some of the more brilliant minds hoped during the 1800's...but it does make a majority of them easily controlled dismally unoriginal entitled elitists.
This Full Moon is no joke. After the Divine Goddess energy of the New Moon the star of the show here is Pluto in Capricorn Conjunct the Sun!
This Full Moon signals that we realize just how much our world has been shaken up by Pluto in Capricorn, Uranus in Taurus and Saturn in Aquarius. This is the moment we might realize there is no going back to "normal"...whether that's the normal prior to Trump or prior to Coronavirus it doesn't matter. Biden may do very poorly in the polls given his doomed slogan of getting back to normal. The answer to navigating this Full Moon is obvious with one of the most healing heart chakra stones. We've all been feeling a bit dejected. The last two years have felt like we were grain in a meal slowly being ground down to our most basic aspects. Saturn has stripped away all of our layers of excess and Uranus is going to keep us from finding solace in materialisim...when we want to clutch our perals they won't be there this year. All fo this is so we can really see who we are...not the labels, not the material goods we identify with...but who we are at the core and if we don't like what we are creating give us the option to create something new. They call Uranus the Awakener for a reason. We've seen that supply chain break down off and on the last two years but we can expect it to be more acute this year. For example, when my Sister In Law came to visit the Niece was had a cold that our eldes daughter caught so the Husband went to get medicene and the shelves were bare at all of the local stores. This previously unheard of experience (aside from during Christmas) is going to be normal this year. This shouldn't scare you. Here in the west we have a lot of crap we don't need. This is teaching us that we don't need all of that excess. We cling to it because we are not connected to a Higher Power and we think that buy owning more 'toys' then the next people that somehow we have more energy/power. People are being pushed towards connecting to that Higher Power instead of fighting for a limited amount of power that can be exchanged between people. This change in the perception of energy and abundnance has allready happened among the Spiritual Community and that momentum is what's causing this shift on the Colelctive Level and will result in a new finanacial system that I suspect will involve FedCoin (and I think is a great thing). People who don't like change and think that the old system was fine are going to hate it but they have been the minority for a long time. We have let go,and continue to let go, of a lot which means we are, as a collective and on the individual level, making room for something that our Higher Selves has planned. What that is, I have no idea but it's going to be interesting. The Astrology The Moon in Cancer is exalted, at the peak of its powers at 27 degrees- breaks down to 9...another completion number. This is the 4th New Moon out of 7 in a row to be at the degree of completion. The Moon is in harmonious energy with Pluto in Capricorn and Neptune in Pisces. The Moon isn't completely comfortable as it opposes the Sun (a requirement for a Full Moon) and Pluto in Capricorn. There is a lot of tension in this chart and very little harmony. There are four squares and just two trines and one Sextile. Pluto Conjunct the Sun in Capricorn is mind blowing. Our consciousness is very much aware of how Pluto has absolutely torn down the traditional structures in our society. I wrote a Blog about how the Millenial Generations have been the unintentional agents of this change that I am posting next week on the 22nd (keep in mind I wrote this introduction and that blog in August 2021) and I seriously didn't intentionally schedule it to post during the Full Moon half of this Lunar Cycle! I simply didnt/don't have the time to plan to such detail on purpose (but looking at the energy I thought, "Wouldn't it be interesting if...and then sure enough that's how things had shaken out when I was assigning vlogs wily nily to make sure there wouldn't be a gap in content.) Uranus in Taurus is seeing a lot of action. First, it's still Square Saturn In Aquairus. This was the case for most of 2021 starting February of 2021. I've described this energy as Uranus trying to drag the 3D plane of existence into the Age Of Aquairus in a Seismic fashion while Saturn is pumping the brakes so we don't go Splat! So expect delays and frustration. Uranus is also square Mercury in Aquarius with it's focus on the change we would like to see at the same time it's supported by a trine to Venus in Capricorn that's looking for some sort of commitment regarding the world Uranus is helping to create. Mercury is conjunct Saturn and sextiling Chiron. So our Mental faculties are focused on resisting this New Aquariun energy and our Wounded nature. I don't think many people have come out of 2020-2021 without some sort of wound. Mars in Saggitarius is seeking the top of the Mountain Top on the Path but is squaring Neptune and Opposing Lilith- any Feminist MeToo/ Social Justice Warrior type action is not supported by this Full Moon. The North Node, meanwhile has many harmonious aspects. First with a trine to Pluto, a trine to the Sun and a Sextile to the Moon. The one thing upon which our conscious and subconscious agrees is that mankinds destiny lies in the changes wrought by the destruction of the Capricorn structures- Academia, Government, Corporatisim, the Media, Traditional Values and the Economy. Chiron is also squaring Venus in Capricorn so we might have a problem finding compassion from those we perceive as having given us our wounds/ that are tearing down the traditional systems and preventing us from going back to normal. Oracle Stone Chrysoprase is an amazing heart Chakra Stone. This mooncycle is about healig the heart. Humanity has faced a tremendous challenge. I dare say we have not handled it much better then the rise of Hitler. Yet, Jung predicted Hitler and World War Two because he saw humanity repressing the shadow. This time is different because there are thousands if not millions doing Shadow Work. That the term Shadow Work has entered into mainstreame use is amazing, This is a stone that is about nurturing in all of it's forms but right now is time to focus on ourselves and cultivating right action (a Buddhist term) in ou personal lives as the highest act of love. Some Additional Thoughts Jamie Sam's shares a heartwarming story about our Medicene Card for this Lunar Cycle- Porcupine- in her Animal Medicene Guide Book. Porcupine befriends old man bear and teaches him how to be playful again. The communication of her youthful joy keeps him from killing her and makes them allies. I feel that this really reflects what the Divine Feminine needs to do with the Divine Masculine. This Lunar Cycle is calling our attention to the need for a balanced, compassionate, and communicative relationship with the Divine Masculine and Divine Feminine. The downward Yod (lower case Y) is a hand reaching up toward the Divine Masculine. The essence of the Divine Feminine's energy is being receptive to the Masculine. Yet, the Masculaine can't withhold and retain things for himself...there has to be a mutal exchange through which both feel fulfilled. I think eveyrone can tell in the United States that the Masculine/Femine dynamic has been wonky for a long time. With the rising of the Divine Feminine energy an imbalance has been created and this Full Moon is a call to return to a State of balance. Mediation Happy New Year! This is going to be a very long meditation. So much has happened and a couple of these topics I thought about doing an additional post but I just don't have the time. So, I patched this together and I hope you enjoy. First, I think it's important to note this is the 4th Full Moon at 27 degrees in a row (out of seven) out of 7. 27 adds up to 9 which is the energy of endings and completion. 4 is the number for Home and Order. 7 is the number of the Spiritual Path and that really sets the tone for this year. Also, very interesting is the fact that I was looking at January 2023 and I realized that the 2022 starts off with the energy of the Hermit in January and ends with the energy of the Hermit in Drcember. The Hermet stands on the precipice of individualization shining the light of illumination to guide those on The Path. Also, the Hermit represents isolation which really indicates that the isolation we've experienced is not coming to an end. I really believe this year is a Final Call for the Awakening. Not that I think we are going anywhere. Instead, it's a chance to embrace and work with the changes instead of fight, resist and suffer because of them. That said if anyone is saying this year is going to be easier- I don't believe them! The energy is slightly different with Jupiter in Pisces but not enough to make a huge difference. I loved how Rick Levine said that the last two years has felt like March of 2020 never ended. I really haven't dived into how 2023 looks but I will weigh in on that when I get far enough into the Astrology of that year to know. The energy of January 2023, though, really does look different. I was feel a bit nostalgic and pulled out an old book I read in 2015 by John Van Auken. Allen 2038 The Great Prymaid Timeline Prophecy. We are currently in the Kings Chamber of the cycle that ends in 2038. Each of the ascending areas show a time of constriction (represented by a granite rock) and followed by an opening that represented a time of expansion. I had done the math when reading it and estimated 7-8 years for the time of expansion after 2012...and sure enough that puts us at 2020 for the Heart Chakra "contraction" or granite slab. The contractions seem to last 3-4 years (last one was 2019-2012). So, I do think that we will start to have an expansive period in 2023 or 2024. That period of expansion will end about 2030 with the Throat Chakra Slab- so I think that will be all about Free Speech and Cenaorship. Finally, after 2030 there is another expansive area that ends with two porous (not so difficult) limestone slabs foe the Brow and Crown Chakra. So that does give me hope. The Hermit and the Porcupine card are a very interesting combination to set the tone for this year. The Porcupine represents hope and faith...which the Hermit does as well because despite the darkness that surrounds the Hermit he is not afraid but holds alight his illumination. While this year may seem foreboding there is a purpose behind it and hope is not lost. Often times, people come to the Path of the Seeker and individualization when hope appears to be lost. Our stone for this Full Moon, Chrysoprase, is all about The Heart. Again, the period of contraction in the Pyramid Prophecy that we are going through is the heart. Lee Harris and Jayme Price totally independent (probably not even knowing about it) have reported throughout this time period that it's been about the Heart and opening the heart. Lee Harris cracks .e up saying his Guides told him that people would be more sensitive during this time and how he thought that would be great...but it's not what he thought it would be! What has amazed me is how many people have suffered burn out since September. That's when I noticed people really not showing up. Some YouTubers, like Adam the Woo, simply stopped putting out a lot of content. Even people who resumed a lot of content after rook a break...and then took a break after New Years. Keeping up positivity under the crushing weight of this continued confusion and "Pandemic" (my sister in law that has a Doctorate in Immunology actually said that it's more like an Epidemic now since we are still having peaks and valleys of infections but it will eventually endemic. That means it will come back every season just like the flu/colds- which makes sense because its a lab modified cold virus). My hat is off to people like Jackie from Super Enthused (YouTube) or any of those who did Resort Vlogs for keeping positive all year. I've also noticed that more astrologers are using Tarot in their videos. Acuyta Bhava Das has started using it whenever he does transits through the housed on his video (which he is bored of which David Palmer said the same thing about the same time). Anastasia The Cosmic Astrologer had also started to use them when covering the Moon Cycles. I find that fascinsting. I've mostly been listening to Cassie Spires Tuning Fork videos on YouTube. I haven't been watching resort live streams (I quit in November and just haven't really gone back). I've also been turning on ambient videos to have on in the background at home because I've noticed they really help my three year old chill out. She's a big ball of fiery energy most of the time (although, she had been sick but I'll get back to that in a moment). As far as Christmas...well, it was not perfect to say the least. I don't feel inclined to give details but it was very illuminating. The niece was sick when she came to visit and so everyone ended up with a cold a few days after Christmas. The two most important things is that my eldest daughter loved Christmas and really wasn't ready for it to end. The other is that I came out of it far wiser and I learned a lot...about myself and why Christmas has been triggering my Disassociation Episodes. I often forget that I am an Empath. Being an Empath that represses emotions is not good. I'm like a psychic sponge then I carry around others emotional baggage until I explode. That's part of the reason I don't like groups. Groups are information overload. That is the main reason I have always sought isolation and preferred to watch from outside the group. I don't like "belonging" because then I have to care about others emotional states. This Christmas I went in with the approach- not my monkeys and not my circus. Usually I resist it like a child about to be forced to take a horrible tasting medicene. This new approach worked. I wasn't emotionally entrapped. Afterward, I went through stages of analyzing what happened and what triggered me...and one of them is a major trigger from a past life. I realized we were all acting out a subconscious play from the In-Laws early family days that only happens when the entire family is together. What happens really has nothing to do with me. I have been soaking up and buffering a lot of toxic energy at these annual get togethers. I realized it wasn't necessarily my emotions that were causing me to disassociate but I didn'twant to admit what I was feeling because I was really trying to enjoy/make these get togethers work. However, I've realized I can't fix a broken family dynamic that existed prior to me being part of the family. I'm really didn't know whether to laugh or cry when it was all over. I also realized this is not something I can change. These Christmas events are a requirement by the Husband. He can't even comprehe the idea of saying no to them. After a meandering conversation about what happened this Christmas with the Husband we decided to open all of our presents (ones we buy the kids and those my parents send) on Christmas Eve. After realizing all of this and that I've carried a toxic load of emotions/feelings from a decade of these get togethers I did a ceremony to release them. I used the same ceremony I did to release expectations about a relationship and release my childhood trauma years ago. I wrote down all of the experiences and emotions. Thanked them for what they taught me and the wisdom I received from them. I validated that they were perfectly valid, reasonable and justified. During my Full Moon I will burn that list signifying and grounding the energy of releasing that stuck energy through physical world action. Letting go of all that felt great. I know this is the Christmas that changes everything. Going forward I have a different perspective/expectations of that and quite honestly it illuminated a huge pattern of the Husband's subconscious programming. In other news, I spent money that I received for Christmas on Disneyland tickets. I bought them for a relatively early date. I had planned to go in April/May but the prices were higher then. This changes everything as well because it's the last major desire I have. After that, well, there is only potential but there will be nothing that the Husband can withhold from me to control my behavior (again this is Subconscious behavior he inherited from his father). I also find all of the reactions around Matrix Resurrections very entertaining. I watched a bunch of spoiler explanation videos after the Husband spoiled it for me (apparently he's watched some reviews on his social/political commentary channels). He made it clear he doesn't want to see it. I get that most people are looking only at the superficial level of the movie. On that superficial level it's a SJW woman empowerment cash grab movie thay doesn't further the story but just offered the same experince with a slight variation. I also get the anger, as the Husband said, that they couldn't just let Neo be the One but had to make Trinity the One as well or "The Two." However, that is just the superficial level of the movie. I figured the sequel would be Neo figuring out how to free Trinity. That's what this movie is so clearly it furthers the plot...so that argument is crap. As far as the Trinity being the One as well...I think this is a reflection of the Rise of the Goddess energy on this planet. However, I've never seen the actress who portrays Trinity as very feminine. She has a very masculine vibe and that's always felt off to me. I don't know what men thought would happen when women became more equal or as the Goddess energy rose. Did they think it would not manifest in form and just remain on the archetypal level? I don't think we've seen the true rise of Goddess energy...women doing what men do or copying/emulating men isnt really Goddess energy. Yet, this is a new experience and we are still trying to figure things out. I see these stumbles of portraying women the same way. No one really knows what an empowered woman being 100% herself would be like so Hollywood just gender swapped/reworked the Hero's story we already know thinking the public wouldn't notice/care. Trinity being acknowledged as just as important and powerful in the Matrix is mirrored by something in the "real world." In the Bhakti Yoga tradition women are now seen as equal to men. Interestingly in that tradition the relationship between Radha (the Goddess) and Krishna (the God) is a central part. Also, listening to those "explanations" the word binary came up a lot. To me binary sounds a lot like duality and that part of the message of the Matrix is actually Oneness. That we don't have to make a choice between one team or another. That we can choose, "This and that." We can have bith Krishna and Radha- we don't have to pick one over the other. We can enjoy material reality but also be spiritual...that balance is preferable. Personally, I'm going to replace the Buddha statue on my Altar with that of Krishna and Radha. For too long we've worshipped the God without the Goddess. They are one but they are equally important aspects of their own and should be viewed equally. I think viewing the two together represents Unity- a.k.a. Oneness- which is the shift in consciousness/Awakening that we are experiencing. People are learning how to be two and one at the same time by knowing ourselves as ourselves but also One with the Creator/All of Creation. That does not diminish the power of either one individually- either God or the Creation- but actually makes them stronger. I think that is the real shift that we are seeing in the world and what the Awakening is all about. In the Kabbalistic story we are watching the "resurrection" of Malkuth (which represents the Material Creation- a.k.a. Matriarchy/Matrix). In the book I mentioned, 2038 Pyramid Timeline Prophecy, humanities consciousness "fell" and we had to work our way up through selfishness to attain self-hood. The archetypal Malkuth, just as we did on an individual level, had to amass enough experience to take on a life and personality of her own. Also, interestingly, according to Edgar Cacye it was the Christ Consciousness that came in to rescue Malkuth that split the genders...and it happened at two different points in human evolution. During the Age of Pisces the Soul/Mind and Feminine/Masculine were at odds with each other. This was symbolized by the two fish yoked together but swimming in opposite direction. That was an ordained time of duality and extreme seperation. The rise of the Masculine started with the Age of Aries and at that time all traces of a powerful Goddess were destroyed among the dominant religions (in the Age of Taurus the Goddess reigned supreme). Traces of the Shekinah of Jewish tradition remain but the practice was destroyed. For some reason that was needed to re-establish balance. The Goddess had her time and then the God had his time. Now, it is time for them to reign together. The water/ocean of Aquarius is unity. We can also see this "New Power Structure" reflected in the sky. The current Venus Retrograde resembles the story of Inann. In hat story Inanna goes to helland meets with it's ruler- her sister (in this Retrograde Venus started off conjunct Pluto). Then when Inanna ascends to heaven she finds that her husband didn't miss her, didn't look for her and she sends him to hell as her replacement. In this Retrograde, the end of the story changes. Mars will be conjunct Venus for the end of her journey in Capricorn for five weeks- which is very rare. As above, as they say, as below. The heavens are literally reflecting this new Power Structure. Do I think we will see the results of this change that is/has occurred on the archetypal level in our material reality this year? Nope. We are seeing it among those who are ready but it hasn't truly infused every aspect of our reality yet. Not everyone is ready (as you can tell by the negative reaction to Matrix Resurrection). This is the year of the Hermit. The last call for those ready for Unity Consciousness to Awaken to their true nature. Some will go on to a world more focused on that Unity Perspective and some will remain doing the same old thing because they're not ready for that new perspective/consciousness. The Creator is making this a gentle incremental process. We will know when this process of "harvest" or sorting out those ready for the new Consciousness is over when we start seeing new entertainment. Part of the process was a lack of that new entertainment because it provided less of a distraction. The first blush of the Seed of that new possible future of conscious co-creation and Unity will be seen during the Spring of this year..but it is far from fruition. Also, I find it very interesting that the term "Miracle" came up in both of the movies I've seen in 2022. In Free Guy it was a miracle that the Artificial Intelligence had come ot light. in Encanto the miracle was a candle that made a magical house and gave everyone in the family a magical gift . David Palmer (the Leo King) said to be on the look out for that term this year as Jupiter enters Pisces (the sign of Christianity and the Age of Pisces). So, that is osmething to lookout for this year. Acutya Hbava Das refers to it as a sort of messianicy roller type of energy. I have the time so I'm writing my final thoughts for this Cancer Full Moon. For me it is very emotional but a little mixed. I'm not 100% joyful and I'm not 100% melancholy but a mix between those two. I went to Disneyland and it was defintely an experience. The eldest daughter had a blast and didn't want to leave. The youngest mostly slep but woke up to go on three rides. I was blown away that The Husband was totally happy to stay with the stroller and watch the sleeping baby while scrolling on Facebook and watching videos on his phone. He did go on a few rides with the eldest and I got some good pictures. I had a few realizations and this Full Moon really feels like one of completion. Taking the Kiddos to Disneyland was the creme de la creme moment of my desires. I always wanted to be a mommy and take my kids to Disneyland. No, it didn't live up to my hopes after the two years of day dreaming about it but it was enjoyable. We did achieve far more than I hoped in the six hours that we were there. I made some mistakes but I learned a lot. Most people, if they achieve their greatest dream, would probably come up with a new one. I really don't have any desire to come up with a new one. Instead I'm really copying up to the fact that I achieved my life long dream even if it wasn't quite what I imagined. I'm really focused on letting go of energy that I've carried for the last seven years. There are a few symbolic methods of release that I'm doing. The main one is carrying Swrpentine ans Chrysoprase in my medicene bag. Both are heart chakra stones. Serpentine is for shedding outdoes habits and Chrysoprase is for healing heartache. There has been a lot of heartache in my life for the last seven years. I feel as though I'm finally healing from losing my first born daughter, Lilith-Ann. A lot of what I'm healing is the lack of trust I had in myself and my higher-self after that happened. I don't know that I could fully heal and let go of things if I didn't have the newest addition. I kind of wonder if I would have held onto that bitterness of having my greatest desire of raising two kids go unfulfilled. Letting go of feeling as though I'm struggling up a huge mountain weighed down with a million pound Boulder of self-doubt with no one believing it was possible (I guess no one wanted to give me false hope) to achieve my goal...I almost don't trust the relief that I feel from having achieved it against all odds and in spite of what everyone told me. There is a sweeter sense of accomplishment knowing that I overcame all of that doubt and disbelief all on my own...with no outside encouragement. I guess that's the blessing of being a double Cappy...a relentless wondering pursuit of a goal. I'm a little sad I fought those battles on my own (although, I'm sure the Husband had his own that he was fighting). I miss a lot of the people that have died over the years because many of them were the ones I would have turned to for solace. Still, it might not be perfect, but I am right where I've always wanted to be and that's awesome. I defintely deserve to rest, relax and celebrate. Letting go of that feeling of that grief filled struggling is rough, though, and I imagine it will take a while because it has been seven years. That has been such a large, silent and unidentified aspect of my identity for so long that having that fear disappate* has left behind a bit of a emptiness. I'm really thankful that the Venus Retrograde transit with the Pluto Conjunction dug this up for me. This is defintely something that need to be worked through with love and transmuted. I also know something new is coming. When something this big is released it opens up energy for something new. Maybe it will just be the ordinary struggles of being a mom that comes into my life. I hold no expectations. I'm also letting go of doing a couple of things over and over again expecting a different result. They weren't entirely intiatwd by me so I think that's why I was so unaware of their affect. Some of them have been for five years and some of them for over a decade. I blame Pluto entering Cappy, since that's about the time this funk over came me. Pluto is getting ready to enter Aquariaus in March 2023...so that's why I'm waking up to the pattern it introduced to my First House of Identity. I'm not too excited about it entering my second house of resources for twenty years! Thank goodness it wasn't in Cappy very long. Another thing I'm letting go of is the desire/need/hope to know anyone like me in real life and a deep form of companionship. I don't think what I was looking for actually exists in the himan experience. There are not many people on the Path of the Seeker and my spirituality is a unique flavor. The only person that I've ever encountered who reached the same perspective from a very different path is Cassie Spires. I don't have any desire for friendships with people who don't resonate with me. Since that's at least 99% of the population I know it is totally unrealistic to believe I could find a friend. This is a deep issue, I never truly had a desire foe one, but my parents and teachers always seemed to think there was something wrong with me for not having one. What is interesting is that as I'm writing this, and just before this Full Moon the Sun is conjunct Pluto. So, of course, my Plutonian journey of the last twelve years and it's purpose is being highlighted...and that conjunction is opposite of this Full Moon in Cancer. So my natal North Node in Cancer and South Node in Capricorn are being activated as well as my 1st house of Identity (Capricorn). This Plutonian journey of becoming a Mother really highlights that axis. Work played a huge role in the journey to motherhood that I experienced. Giving up that Cappy work-a-holic nature to relax into my dream of being a stay-at-home Mom's was quite the journey. Finally, I'm grateful for this journey. I have a deeper appreciation for my kids and the experience of being a mother then most people. That is worth it's weight in gold. Then there is this amazingly relevant video on the Sun Pluto Conjunction by Acuyta Bhava Das that I will share a link here and embed after this (https://youtu.be/LtkOjuY8Y6o ). The Husband wanted to go out on New Years but instead we "rented" a movie theough Amazon Prime. We agreed on Free Guy. This movie was interesting. On one hand it was entertaining. I get a kick out of Ryan Reynolds and Taika Watiti so whatever projects there in I like to check out. There was something off in the directing. There was a weird cut to the two people who developed the game engine and A.I. that would become Free City that seemed abrupt and probably should have been at the start instead of where it ended up in the film. The premise was awesome and executed well enough to remain light hearted but kind of explore the concept of Free Will, how people would react to actual Artificial Intelligence and commentary/references to videk game culture (which I haven't been a part of in over a decade). That said it could have been rad to see the entire movie peogress where you think it's a real world only to find out it's a video game at the end. Instead this film went in the zany make-fun-of-ourselves option that left a lot of what could have been memorable moments (such as Millie tell Guy that he isn't real) with less emotional impact then they could have had. At it's heart it was a romance movie (just like Ready Player One) which isn't awful but makes me wonder why Gamer Movies seem to be stuck in 'Romance Only' movies. Overall, entertaining with some laugh out loud moments (which I don't do often) but not entirely satisfying...kind of like eating a twinkie* when you're hungry for a full meal. Collective Level Finally, an Artificial Intelligence movie where it's not trying to kill people. I think this is definitely an evolution in the way people think. That all of the initial responses to A.I. we're Doomsday Terminator, the Matrix and Ultron scenarios ..here we have an A.I. that doesn't pose a threat to anyone. The fact that Humanity seized on the only logical conclusion that Artificial Intelligence could think of is to destroy and replace its makers is fascinating. I've traced that a main theme in myths- primarily Greek- is how the Son kills the Father. Whether that's Jupiter killing Chronos or Chronos getting rid or Uranus- or Oedipus and his father...it's a constant theme. In a way, Frankenstein reflects this too. So, naturally humanity figures if they created a "son" it's natural response would be to kill it's Creator. If Artificial Intelligence is possible (and I'm not sure that is because that means a soul would have to agree to be a machine) there is no reason to assume it would automatically be evil and see no value in life. The limits of Artificial Intelligence (and why I don't think it's really possible) is that it's limited to it's programming. Even if it can "learn", unlike Souls that are based on the pattern of the Creator and so have all of the potential of the Creator evolving past any "programmed" behavior, it is limited by the hardware. A cow can learn but it's very limited when it comes to creative thoughts. Not only is a cow not interested in building a city it lacks the means to do so...and Artificial Intelligence would be just as limited. Ehile humans are creative we aren't capable of providing the full range of tools to allow A.I. to evolve past our own limitations and most scientists are atheists with very little imagination so they live in very limited regimented worlds. There are two categories of what I'm taking in my Hospital Bag. One are things for the baby and one are things for me.
With my eldest daughter I was not very prepared. I didn't know I was going to be stuck in the hospital for three days because of my c-section. For those who are doing a natural birth the one day is not as complicated but you may learn something helpful here. For Me A Large Zip Up Robe Breast Pumping Bra Nursing Bra Specific Outfit For Going Home Disposable Nursing Pads Sage Spray Hospital/Recovery Stones I'm taking some clothes with me. Normally I wouldn't take any clothes to the hospital other then what I'm wearing the day I go in. This is my 13th surgery (a powerful sacred number of karmic completion) but most of those were out paitent and I kept nothing with me. I definitely won't take any form of jewelry. I know people who had their jewelry stolen. Iw old never tak anything valuable. There are a lot of people who come in and out of a hospital room. I had everything from nurses, janitors and maintenence men. So I wouldn't take anything that I couldn't live without. That said I'm taking a long robe with a zipper on the front. I will wear this instead of the hospital gown. There are two reasons. The most important reason is that I'm allergic to bleach and I've roken out into hives thanks to hospital sheets in the past. Wearing a robe that will cover most of my body is a better solution then bringing my own bed sheets. A zip up robe will also make it easier to breast feed/breast pump. Trying to breast pump or breast feed in a Hospital Gown is impossible and you end up half naked for a lot of time. When recovering from a c-sectjon that's down right miserable. The nurses will push you to try and pump every two hours (especially if you have a c-section and it's important to know that with a c-section it takes 4 days for the milk to come in so you'll get only a tiny amount of colostrum as a result of the lost sleep and toil of breast pumping-which is very good for the baby but frustrating). Clearly, you want to breast feed as much as possible because there are so many benefits to the baby. Breast Pumping was something I was woefully unprepared for with my daughter. With a c-section in particular the normal hormones from giving birth naturally are not there. So, it takes a while for the body to realizeit needs to produce milk.. Holding the suction cups up by hand was grueling- especially after surgery and groggy from Morphine (which I have an allergic reaction to that makes me puke without a anti-nausea medication). That's why it's absolutely vital that you get a breats pump Bra that holds them into place for your. I had no idea, even though I did a ton of research on what to buy and had multiple pregnancy books, that I needed to get one of these. A friend let me borrow hers (her daughter was two or three st the time) and I ended up buying two of my own (they get dirty fast rom sweat and milk spillage). A comfortable Nursing Bra is a must even if your bottle feeding. (Since my eldest daughter went to the N.I.C.U. the morning after she was born because of a low blood oxygen level it was best that I allow them to give her formula...she never latched on and was entirely bottle fed. I also have problem producing milk because I have terrible anxiety so, I am not counting on the newest one latching on and we've already bought formula to supplement breats milk just as we did with my eldest.) Nursing bras are also great for bottle feeding Mom's. The reason they are useful is because breast soreness will make you want to keep the girls held up close and they're made to hold the breast pads so that you don't leak milk through your clothes (whether you use reusable pads or you choose to get the disposable ones). You'll want a bra that will accommodate your changing breast size as well (they grow much bigger and smaller then I anticipated). I'm taking disposable nursing pads to the hospital because I had a ton of samples and a relative gave us a big box full of them. I find the reusable pads more comfortable and absorbent but I don't want to risk losing them at the hospital. I am taking my Sage Spray with me and three healing stones. This may sound odd but Hospitals are negative places so I want to keep my aura cleansed (at the very least Sags is aromatherapy). The three stones I will be taking is Moonstone (a gentle calming auric stone that I've been working with the entire pregnancy), Hypersenthe (a protective root chakra stone that eases anxiety that I always have with me), and Unakite (a heart chakra stone that is good for balancing and recovery from health issues). I have multiples of all these stones so if they walk away somehow I won't be heart broken (I would never take some of my more valuable stones- such as Kunzite- with me). Finally, I will be taking a clean comfortable set of clothes to wear home. Last time I was only focused on what my daughter would wear home. I learned, however, that a fresh baggy shirt, slip on shoes (bending over is tough!) and a skirt that can be adjusted around the waist is best to wear home after a c-section. Having the clothes clean is just an added touch as opposed to wearing them in and having them scrunched up in a plastic Hospital Bag. For The Little One Previously I only really packed the outfit the outfit Little One would come home in...but this time I'm going a couple steps further. A Weighted Pacifier A Custom Bow Beanie A Receiving Blanket A Homecoming Outfit A Rattle An Elephant Teething Blanket I admit, the rattle, teething blanket, receiving blanket and the custom bow Beanie are all extras mostly for pictures. Her Grandparents won't be visiting the hospital the day she was born (my parents parents with my eldest). My parents now live in Texas and my mom's health won't allow her to to the trip. My husband's father refuses to visit anyone in the hospital, he doesn't like babies (he only becomes interested in them when they can talk...he even felt thst way about my husband and his sibling) and his mother's degrading poor health and mental functions thanks to MS keep her from going anywhere on her own. So, I have a "I Love Grandma" blanket hand made by my Great Grandma Emma who was certain I would have children one day but passed away a year after Lilith-Ann (my first born who was born prematurely and passed away three days after being born). That little touch will bring me a huge comfort while in the hospital. (Hopefully, I will be able to send my mom a picture of it from the hospital.) I'm taking a second one she made (she made a total of five) in case the first one gets dirty. I will be watching them like a Hawk because they are priceless to me but feel that the comfort and meaning they bring are worth the risk. The Custom Bow Beanie is an idea I got with my firstborn. The hospital she went to ordered them for the girls and it was so adorable. My eldest daughters Bow Beanie from the hospital is in a shadow box display that I made for her in her room. I dontdon't want to reuse it. Instead, I made a unique one with a pink beanie I was gifted with Michelle (who never wore them outside the hospital) and a maroon bow from a homemade headband my daughter didn't like that came with a homemade dress my bought from a consignment store. Yes, itsit's mostly for pictures and vanity but since my relatives will only get to see this baby through pictures itsit's worth it. The weighted elephant Pacifier is not a must. Hospitals usually provide a pacifier. However, through experience I've learned babies feel more comfortable on their own with that weight that smells like mommy on their chest..it's one of the tricks they use in the N.I.C.U. to keep thr babies content when mom isn't around. The Homecoming outfit is one little detail that means so much. I recruited my daughter in helping me pick out the outfit so she could have a personal stake in the babies homecoming and repeated nothing I did with her so she wouldn't feel as though she was being replaced (impossible le to think but my sister felt that way with me and we always had antagonistic relationship. I'm praying these two will be best friends and playmates like my little brother and I were growing up ). I didn't want to use the same dress as my first born (one my mom kept that I wore!) but wanted to do something original. So, this duaghter will be coming home in a white lace dress with pink lining that my bought thst was too small for my eldest so she never wore it. I'm taking shoe socks (socks that look like shoes...shoes are very impractical and unnunnecessary at this age) and of course will have the custom bow beanie...but my eldest didn't wear those home because my husband thought it was too hot. So I'm bringing a flower headband for her to wear that my eldest chose (she didn't want her to wear a bow like she did). Conclusion Well, that concludes what ImI'm taking in my Hospital Bag. Not all of it is necessary but it's important to be kind and gentle to yourself. The process of birth is difficult and a c-section makes it worse. You will be sore and exhausted (and this is just the beginning of going without sleep). Your hormones will be all over the place (especially with a c-section where your body has to catch up with what has happened and your body is trying to adjust to being cut into) and the stress is real...but little touches of home and being prepared will go a long way to making things less stressful and painful. I will be playing my Calm Whale music (and maybe even have my husband bring my earbuds so I can listen to ASMR if I have real trouble sleeping and relaxing although I am really good at losing them at the house under normal conditions so taking them to he hospital seems super risky to me) and these small creature comforts to lessen the stress and remind me to be kind to myself. Every year I look at the year ahead and the Collective Consciousness that I am in tune with by looking at the Entertainment that is coming out. The external world is a reflection of our inner world. (The Conscious light of the Creator looking into the Ocean of Darkness sees its reflection. Hence, what happens in Heaven (Consciousness) also Happens on Earth, (Material Reality). Gensis 1:2). This year I put together a YouTube Playlist of the entertainment that I took in. I'm including series because entertainment has been narrowed down so much and there are fewer movies that I want to see being made. Listening to the Playlist of Trailers with just headphones, no visuals, was an interesting treat. Here is the list and they are in the order they came out. Wandavision The Falcon and Winter Soldier Cruella Loki What If Jungle Cruise Venom: Let There Be Carnage Dune Eternals Wheel of Time Hawkeye Spiderman: No Way Home Simple Analysis I called this a year of the Villain. Most of the Charecters that were the focus of the story's were either former Villains or actual Villains. Boy did that play out in Material Reality! Crime is off the charts everywhere after the rioters got away with looting without prosecution. One of the biggest stories of this year are the groups of smash and grab robbers in California who apparently found out this year that they could steal up to $1000 worth of goods without hte cops being called. I've always thought that was a dumb change int he law but what gets me is that law went into effect in 2014. Why did it take seven years for criminals to figure it out and start exploiting it? Wanda (from WandaVision) The Winter Soldier (Falcon & Winter Soldier) Cruella (Cruella onviously) Loki (Loki) Venom (Venom) The antil-villain theme will continue. In fact the typical hero (Captain America or Superman being the epitomes) are no longer the main charecter. (I'm calling next year the New Power Structure because of this). The other themes that popped up are interesting: The Trio: Most stories come down to two men and a woman. (Falcon and Winter Soldier, Jungle Cruise, Let There Be Carnage and Loki). This is a common part of many stories (Think King Arthur, Lancelot and Gwenievre). Odd Couple/Need Couple Therapy. (WandaVision, Falcon and Winter Solder, and Venom). Female As Villian (WandaVision, Falcon and Winter Soldier, Cruella, Loki (Sylvie), Dune, Wheel of Time). Waking Up (Dragon or Part of the Mind): (Dune, Shang Chi, Wheel of Time, Eternals) Multiverse (Marvel Stuff) Women as the Spiritual Authority: (Wheel of Time, Dune) No Way Home (Wheel of Time, Spiderman, and Dune) Conclusion The emphasis on the feminine is obvious. That will continue into next year. The symbolisim may seem all over the place but it can be interpreted. No I don't think this is some liberal 'SJW' Hollywood Woke conspriacy to exclude white people. Essentially, with the Gemini North Node that was about relationships this year was like a couples thearpy intervention between the Divine Masculine and Divine Feminine. I don't think that's over, I think that's still being resolved, but I do think some huge milestones were achieved. Primarily, the Divine Feminine, the Goddess, owns that she is no longer a people pleaser. I really saw that shift with both Black Widow and Cruella. They don't make other people try to like them. They are unapologetically who they are without fear of rejection. We are going into a year of heavy Astrological Goddess energy starting off with Venus Conjuncting Pluto, reminiscent of the Persephone version of the Goddess story, Esoteric (Symbolic) Analysis: Goddess Awakening I was going to explain all of this in a totally different blog but I had writers block and realized it belongs here. The Goddess/Goddess worship was all but destroyed when the "Son" worship took over. I'm not sure if that was during the Age of the Ram or the Age of Pisces. So, the symbolisim became very confused. The Higher Self became associated to the Female. The Lower Self/Animal Soul became associated with the male. We can piece this together knowing that the Creator of our neck of the Woods (or Reality) is Female...The Goddess Sophia (Wisdom) being the best story that I've heard so Far (Binah (Wisdom) on thr Kabbalah Tree of Life. We alsoknow there are two "Father's" above her. Yet, the Hindu practice tells us what the three aspects (2 male and 1 female) are associated. There is the Son (Animal Body/ The Earth/Material Reality), The Father (Higher Mind/Heaven)...and the Shakti (Goddess) that units them. So, we absolutely need hte feminine but just like the Shakti within us she has been sleeping (corresponding to the Collective Unconscious). There are other associations/ correspondence but that is the easiest. Laird Scranton has uncovered that there was an underlying myth in an original cosmology of a Sleeping Goddess. The Goddess could be described as the Dark One (representing Space). She is associated with the Sumerian Tiamet (literally featured in Eternals) which is also a Goddess, also described as a Dragon, in the Sumerian texts. The Goddesss has been vilified so, it's not surprising as that awareness rises it is depicted as a powerful rebellious Villain. The Goddess Awakening in the Minds of Men is the Superconscious Awakening. That has led to destruction before as Hive Mind (not the purpose of this realm of Creation) necessitated a destruction. The Higher Mind or even analytical mind (Father) has also vilified the Lower Mind/Animal Body (Son). These three have been battling it out on Earth for a long time. This is a place of reconciliation for these "powers" as it were...as well. a The Collective Conscious (Goddess) had to be "slain"/"descend"/"put to sleep" in order for each of us to develop individual experiences to the point where we could retain our sense of individual identity (Indviduatd Unit of Conaciousness as Thomas Campbell describes it). That we could become companions to the Creator...but not just Sophia. Sophia's goal was to be a companion to the Oneness-the First Father and the result of this experimentatio on Earth is that all of us will becme companions to All-That -Is. The Light (Fire - Action or Air- Mind)of the Masculine has been battling the Darkness of the Feminine for a long time (Earth- Physicality and Water- Emotions). As people do the personal work necessary on the Path of the Seeker (the Awakening Process as it's called these days) we reconcile these within ourselves. Now, in the Sophia myth she descended for two reasons- she feared that Multiplicity would overcome Oneness and she wanted to know the First Father (Oneness). In the Myth two abstract forces were emanated by the Father that created Sophia to 'bring her home'. The Christ Consciousness and the Holy Ghost. We can find clues about the "Sleeping Goddess" in the Edgar Cacye material. Hers was the first Soul Group to descend that became hopelessly enmeshed in physicality (Son's of the Morning- Venus is the Morning Star although Mercury also takes on that role). Also, it explains the why the purpose of life is, "To Know Ourselves as Ourselves yet One With The Creator." The "No Way Home" aspect of the Collective Story is fascinating. Instead of the Goddess returning home something new is being created. This should be obvious. Humanity has always assumed things were better before Incarnating in Physical Reality. We want to get back to Eden or disappear into the Oneness. Yet, that's not the purpose of this realm. Instead, we are to be Companions not servants or young dependent children of the Creator. To return to tha tstate of ignorant innocence would defeat the prupose of amssing all fo these unique experiences. Sophia created us and together we may be creating the Multiverse. This New Moon is definitely a change compared to the energy of the past few months. There is a lot of Earth Energy! There are five planets in Earth Signs (Sun, Moon, Venus, Pluto, and Uranus).
Just look at the number of this post...the first day of the first month. Ah, sublime coincindence! Divine timing at it's best! The North Node is about to go into Taurus and the South node is in Scorpio...so the Collective is more focused on the Stubborn, Pracitical, down to Eath, Creature Comforts, and Money matters. Wall Street in particular is something to watch for the next two years. I go into this in my 2022 Astrology overview that I published in a December 2021 blog so I won't dwell on it here. However, I won't be surprised if FedCoin is introduced either this year or anywhere within the next 18 months. As an Earth Sign I like seeing this energy. After so much Mental/Air energy last year having a grounded Lunar Cycle sounds heavenly. The symbology is also very Goddess oriented. Earth is the Element of Mother Nature and we have the lower case Yod that represents Binah. Lilith is being her badass self putting the Masculine planets of Mars and Neptune into their place on this New Moon. The Astrology There is a Stellum in Capricorn. Of course there is the Sun and Moon conjunction (that's what makes a New Moon). Not in conjunction with the Sun or Moon but close by is Venus (in retrograde, so this is a time for self-love) and Pluto (which are in conjunction) in Capricorn and then Pluto is in Conjunction with Mercury that's just barely in Aquarius. The Finality of this cycle lies in Pluto's primary role in this chart. Pluto is uniting the brother and sister- Mercury (Brow Chakra) and Venus (Heart Chakra) that swap the role of morning and evening Star. Aside from these two conjunctjons Pluto doesn't have any other aspects. Pluto has been working on transforming Capricorn- the sign of patriarchy, tradition and business- since 2008 (it started with the Recession). We have three more years of Pluto continuing to play it's role but during this Lunar Cycle it's the end of this (the phrase 'White Privaleage' does come to mind although I would amend that to White Rich Buisness Men Privlage) that is on the Mind of the Collective Conscious. Of course, adding to this energy is Uranaus in Taurus trining the Sun and Moon. This really isn't surprising and will set the tone for the rest of the year during which Uranus is going to play a huge role. Of course, Saturn in Aquarius is pumping the breaks on this revolutionary energy by squaring Uranus. Again, I think this is a good thing. I am not someone who thinks the entire system should be torn down but that we should return to a more basic understanding and interpretation of what we have in the United States...which is the Leader of the Free World that hasn't felt so free over the course of the last couple of years. Sadly, this year will not spell the end of this dynamic...Saturn won't leave Uranus's Home until March 2023. Neptune in Pisces is playing a role by squaring Mars in Saggitarius. Yet, it's also sextiling retrograde Venus. So, the Siren call is still there but it's causing division between our willpower and our heart...as usual. The antagonostic side of Lilith in Gemini is at work in this chart as she opposes Mars in Saggitarius and Squares Neptune in Pisces. In this Earthy Energy she wants nothing to do with Mars desire to gallavant around the globe or Neptune's illusion. Neptune and the sign that it is in and rules, Pisces, are being amplified by Jupiter that has just entered the sign. We have a year of Group Think being strong ahead of us, but also new collabroative efforts for those working with the energy in a positive way. The North Node is also in Gemini but it is trining Pluto And Mercury as our minds inevitably focus on the end (Pluto) of the North Node in Gemini. This seems a proper closing of this energy. Yet, it is squaring Jupiter in Pisces as though declining to in impart divisiveness on the Collective as we turn to the first page of this new Nodal cycle book. Finally, Chiron is squaring this New Moon while trining Mars and Sextiling Saturn. The old Wounds that we are healing seem to have us in a closed off mood ready to fight. Indigenous Moon: Contemplation Moon First Moon of the North which represents the Earth Element. This is an intuitive time of rest and renewal. We are now in the heart of Winter where Nature resets itself in preparation for new growth. Hebrew Letter: Yod In Kabbaliatic Astrology this is the lower case Yod. This means that it actually represents Binah on the Sephiroth Tree of Life. Binah is the Divine principal. In this case the Yod is not a Seed (when it represents the Divine Masculine) but a hand grasping upward forming a cup. The mystery to Binah is that she is the reflection of the Primal Force of the Divine Masculine in the Waters of Creation. She is the Emanation that follows Chokhmah and she is the container...the Matrix of our existence giving form to everything. Within her is our existence. Tarot Card: The Hermit The Hermit is the Master on the Mountain of Creation calling to us by shining the light of his lantern. The Hermit is an aspect of us. This is our Higher Self- the part of us that holds our Akashic records and knows that we are one with Creation and that there is no Seperarion. Medicene Card: Porcupine (12) Porcupine represents a kind of innocence and playfulness. Porcupines power lies in its faith and trust. Porcupine has an appreciation for each new day and is full of Wonder. Tools: I wanted to really honor the Divine Feminine for this New Moon. So, I'll be using the Cleopatra mix of essential oils from Sage Goddess that has that intoxicating Blue Lotus essential oil. For Air I'm using White Sage Incense which I've always felt has a Feminine spirit (although, I've never researched that). Of course, I will be using a Brown Scented candle to set my intention in alignment with all of the Earth Energy. Grid Tigers Eye Generator: This Solar Plexus stone gives us the courage to face whatever it is that we need to do as we go into another difficult year (not as challening though) this will give us the Willpower to continue forward (Solar Plexus is the Chakra of Mars) Mookatite Jasper: The beauty stone, this red one connects with the Root Chakra, and is a must for anyone looking for more optimism in their life. From Depression to anxiety this is one stone to keep on hand at all times. Morganite: The queen of the love stones. This is a heart chakra stone that absolutely radiates nurturing motherly love. Kunzite: The romance stone. This heart chakra stone embodies the essence of the honey Moon phase of love. Lapis Lazuli: The stone that Queen Cleopatra loved and that Edgar Cacye says helps aid psychic development. This stunning Throat Chakra stone has flecks of pyrite reminding us to focus on and talk about the "golden" things in life. Conclusion We are experiecing an Echo of the energy of 2021 and North node Gemini this month...but the energy has shifted and this is a time of pure potential. In a way I feel this is a time of reverence and instead of trying to jump ahead with plans it's time to appreciate the good experiences that we had since 2020. The difference is obvioius and I think that we should pause and reflect on that this month having faith that even though this new cycle may start off and seem like it will be the same it will not. This Lunar Cycle is a powerful outflow of Goddess energy. I feel as though 2021 was mostly Divine Male energy. We really need the Divine Mother to remind everyone that we are all connected and all points of view should be honored. The name of the game in Life is individuality and yet people seem to think there is only one correct point of view when it comes to reality. While being 'inclusive' they are telling a singular narrative when, in truth, there is 7 billion points of view of the same 'One Thing' on this planet or 7 Billion TImelines or 7 Billion Worlds (interpert with either of those you wish because they are all accurate)...and all of those points of view are sacred. The sooner people realize that the energy of Aquairus is that seemingly dualistic notion of, 'Knowing yourself as yourself and yet one with the Creator," in other words knowing that we are all One but maintaing individuality...the better. The Piscean Era of Group Think where one leader ran the world or a country in a hive mind Queen Bee or Alpha Male sort of way is over. Each individual's existence is just as great as what we perceive as the greater cause of humanity. Each person's life and free will is absolutely sacred. Nothing should ever require them to forfeit their Free Will or sacrifice their lives willingly or unwillingly because such forefurture of Individuality is against the purpose of our existence to "know ourselves as ourselves and yet one with thrthe Creator," as Edgar Cacye put it.
