Astrology:
First off this is a Libra Lunar Eclipse at 5 Degrees. Five is the number of Change and Transformation. This is probably the sweetest chart when it comes to aspects that I've seen in years. Aside from the typical Sun and Moon opposition most of thr aspects are positive. We have a Stellum in Pisces with Mars, Saturn, Pisces and Venus. We have another Stellum in Aries with the Sun, Chiron, the North Node and Mercury. The busiest planet is Venus who is getting ready to conjunct Saturn. She is Sextile Uranus and Jupter who are preparing for their conjunction. I feel as though she is cheering them on to do whatever chaos in her Sign of rulership- Taurus. Meanwhile, we still have that Saturn in Pisces and Jupiter in Taurus supportive Sextile. This seems as though a Rebirth of Heaven (Pisces) and Earth (Taurus) with Saturn and Jupiter's contraction and expansion similar to Labor Contractions. Next month, it would seem, a new paradigm of reality will be birthed. Finally, Vlack Moon Lilith is in a supportive Trine to Uranus and Jupiter in Taurus. She too seems to be cheering on the Chaos like Venus. Whatever is happening the Divine Feminine is on board with it. Oracle Stone: Peach Moonstone Sphere Peach Moonstone is a Sacral Chakra stone all about creative inspiration and manifestation. In it's sphere form it gives the feeling of balance. Meditation I am writing this blog for the New Moon in February 2023. I write these to be ahead of all of the hype other astrologers make of things so that I give my 100% authentic opinion of each chart. If this section is not updated this New Moon got away from me but hopefully you can find something on my YouTube channel that you can find here: https://youtu.be/kH0Ocp-POxE References: Villoldo, Alberto & Baron-Reid Collette & Lobos Marcela (2021) Mystical Shaman Oracle Perakis, Athena. What happened to the discussion about Culture? Culture has been totally ignored by most people. What a group of people value determines their behavior in a lot of ways. You can tell what they value based on the music that they listen to and the celebrities in their culture. Recently, my daughter came home saying that one of her classmates was saying her school is, "Crappy." Well, her school is not the greatest according to the metrics that people use. That metrich happens to be whether or not the kids go to college. Now, we live in a very diverse community. Most of the population is Hispanic so the school is already dealing with a deficit trying to teach English as a second language to most of the students. But, the big thing is, in the HIspanic community College is not valuable. There are not a lot of Hispanic people going to college. They simply don't. So it is no surprise that in a highly Hispanic area they would not do well on that metric. Now, this doesn't appear to be any fault of the school which is pushing college in Kindergarten. I may have College Degrees but I am among those who don't really value them. I think that a person without a degree working an average job like as a grocery store clerk should be able to afford housing and to create a family. I don't think a College Degree should be required to do basic jobs and there will always be a large percentage of the population that doesn't need a degree. If someone goes into a specialized field I feel they could use a degree. That I agree with but otherwise I don't think it is necessary. The local barista doesn't need a degree to make a latte, for example. Believe me, you can be just as happy making lattes as being an area manager. Yet, again, it's the culture that is causing the school to be 'crappy' not the teachers or the education itself based on current metrics. Contrast that with the 'excellent' schools in Asian neighborhoods. Asian parents expect their kids to do well in school, to enter management or become an expert in a field. That is highly valued in the Asian culture. So, naturally, the school district that we are likely to move to is mostly Asian. The only reason we would move to that are is because of the schools. There are no other benefits to living in the area but the schools are some of the best. Of course, as a result of the highly prized schools the price of the area is more expensive. The people who value a college education tend to be college educated and earn the money associated with having a higher education. Yet, for us, our standard of living would actually go down. We would be in an older and smaller house than the one that we live in and we don't have the money to expand it or change it. The heart of the issue, though, is that it is the Culture determining the outcome not the color of the people's skin. I have no doubt that if we stay in this area my kids will go to college because that is what my husband expects them to do. My daughter is more likely to be at the head of her class, as she is now, and may even thrive here. Whereas if we move she may lag behind her more ambitious classmates and may not thrive as much. So, I can see both sides clearly and I value them equally. The average person will only look at the accepted metric of the college rates and come to a totally different conclusion. But at the end of the day the only thing determining that the school my daughter is going to now is not as good as the one in Temple City is the fact that the people who go there don't see any value in a College Education. So, it's really a matter of Culture. When you apply this at a wider level this is why D.E.I. doesn't work and never will. There will be a few outliers in the system who will use D.E.I. to elevate them to new positions but there aren't enough in the Cultures that are being elevated to fill the positions.just as there are not enough students trying to go to College as the colleges would like to fill their quotas of different races. The fact that there is even a debate about lowering standards for certain communities so that they can have certain jobs is insulting. That implies that the people trying to get those jobs are too stupid to be held to the same standard as everyone else. While some may benefit it's a poor approach. Well, that is the unfortunate truth Culture determines what a person values and no matter how anyone tries to elevate members of Cultures that do not value College Education it will never be statistically significant. The problem lies with behavior based on culture not on ability. Why do most people stay in the area where they grew up? Culture. Yes, it is just that simple. The few that may benefit from any sort of intervention are those who are outliers in their own Culture and it is very unlikely to become the rule. In fact, even among white male who previously valued College there has been a down turn in College attendance because looking at the net benefits it is obvious it's not beneficial to get into so much debt unless you make a lot of money. So, we are in a cultural shift in the White Community when it comes to the value of college. I am curious to see if this really dumb metric will continue to be used to evaluate a schools value. Hopefully, it shifts back to High School graduation rates as the metric. Almost all cultures value a High School Degree. That would honor the teachers a lot more and would be more accurate. Here we have a Pisces New Moon at 20 degrees- which breaks down to two and the number of Duplication and Duality. Pisces is also in thr Double Bodied sign...so there is a lot of two energy here. Yet, the emphasis is on the Collective.
Chiron and the North Node remain in Cinjunction. With Chiron in the Driver Seat of the New Moon we are focusing on the Wounds in our relationships. This is a very sweet chart. In fact the only major negative here is Uranus in Taurus squaring Mars in Aquairus. Black Moon Lilith in Scorpio is opposing the Sun and Moon as well preferring the Swamp to the Ocean of Oness. Yet, she is also Jupiter and Uranus in Taurus. There is a Stellum in Pisces with the Sun, Moon, Saturn and Neptune so this is a very nebulous, dreamy and uncentered New Moon where we can very easily tune in and connect to Divinity. Pluto at one degree of Aquairus is really bringing in that energy. Adding in Mars, our Willpower, and Venus, our heart, being in the sign there is a strong desire to be unique and yet serve the Collective and Divinity. Indigenous Moon: Strong Winds Moon This is the Moon where the Winds of Change have come. This is the Final Moon of the North and Winter. There is almost a Collective sigh if relief even though the first buds may not have appeared on the seasonal trees. Hebrew Letter: Kuf This is the letter that represents the back of the head- the instinctual part of our brain. Tarot Card: The Moon This is the Card that shows the entire Path of the Seeker...or really the Evolution of our Soul. From the Sea of Unindividuated Oneness...to the Age of the Mineral (Taurus), the Age of the Plant (Aries), The Age of the Animal (Pisces), and now the Age of the Human (Aquarius). On a personal level it's the evolution of having a Leaden very heavy mind (often described as a rock in Buddhist traditions) to a flexible mind...mineral, plant, wild animal, domesticated animal...to the fortified towers of the Ego...to exposure to Divinity on the Mountain Top. Oracle Card: The Holy Mountain Sometimes, you can't make this stuff up. This is the same Holy Mountain as depicted in The Star. The book of thr Mystical Shaman''s Oracle mentions Greek Olympus, Tibet's Mount Kailish, and Perus Mount Ausangate. Of course there is also the one upon which Moses stood, Mount Sinai. Tools Clearly, this is a sacred moment. For the dorection of Air I will be using White Sage Incense. For Fire, a Green Candle for Healing. For Water I will use Frankencense Essential Oil. Finally, here is the Grid for Earth: Iolite Generator: The stone used by the Vikings to guide their ships. Iolite is a stone of guidance. Quartz Cluster: To amplify and recognize the Collective Energy. Fluorite Cluster: To ad inspiration to the Collective energy. Fluorite Octagedron: To represent and inspire the individual. Clear Quartz: To Represent and inspire the individual. 4 Clear Quartz Points- to direct and amplify the energy and bring clarity.
