Today Mars heads into Scorpio. This has been a very Mars heavy moon cycle and as it goes into the sign it rules I think we can expect until it leaves this sign December 13th. So, this transit will effect our entire November Moon Cycle, our Lunar and Solar Eclipse and our December 4th New Moon (which is fascinating because it is in Ophiucus).
I had some thoughts that I wanted to share as Mars enters Scorpio. Scorpio season has already been intense for me. Very interestingly, Dig A Little Deeper, from Disney's Princess and the Frog has come up often. Upon watching just the clip for that song I couldn't help but think of how Reflective that song is of Scorpio. Scorpio is described as the Swamp with hidden secrets and it's a place of transformation. Think of it as Luke meeting Yoda and being trained on the swampy planet- Dagobah. There he confronted Darth Vader in the Shadows...not knowing that is the legacy he inherited. How interesting is it that Brian Laundries remains were found in a Swamp right before Scorpio Season? Also, to go along with that feeling of Burn Out and that feeling of a void I noticed a major lack of YouTube vlogs qnd videos the last two weeks of October. Usually, that's when YouTube Creator's are the most productive. A lot of people went through very challenging experiences that week and just didn't have time to work on their videos or they felt burnt out...everyone seemed to be push to the edge of their energetic threshold. Here are three examples of people hitting that threshold: Adam The Woo: https://youtu.be/caB6IO-1za0 The Leo King: https://youtu.be/aqAH7TKhHfg Tim Tracker: https://youtu.be/oBrzuXRJ5oc. With that in mind the Astrological aspect that was associated with that transit was Mars in Libra Square Pluto In Capricorn. I too hit that point and received validation of the Astrology. Acuyta Bhava Das shared what he had experienced during this type of transit in the past. Here is the video that really blew me away with how accurate it was: https://youtu.be/ZNSkLFLtXFM For me, on the Full Moon (which had Mars Square Pluto) my three year old got a cold, soon I had a cold and so did my one month old. For two days it was really tough. The husband was at work and never became sick. I, however, stayed up all night holding our one month old in the only position in which she could breathe because she was so congested. Then the following day I hit another threshold when my three year old decided to pump hand lotion all over our love seat. The thing looked an abandoned car at the beach that the seagulls had used for target practice. So, I took the numerous toys that had accumulated in the living room when I was on partial bed rest for the last six months and threw them upstairs as she had a *huge* tantrum. I think she'd hit a threshold too with all of the changes and stress surrounding her sisters arrival. Strangely, as I was cleaning up I found a Faery Oracle card that I had apparently lost. I had lost the entire deck for a while (somehow it was hidden under my bed). I had used this card in a ritual last year where I asked for a second child. The card, ironically, was Lady of the Harvest and there could not be a better time to find it. I found that almost eerie. I definitely had my will power (Mars) tested and challenged this month. As Mars enters Scorpio, it's home sign, that challenge to our willpower may ease. Pluto, though, still has a significant energetic effect rightnow and it seems we're at the height of our Underworld experience where we need to 'dig a little deeper' (such a Scorpio thing to say) in order to figure out what we need. Since the height of this coming Moon Cyclce is a Lunar Eclipse where we cut something out of our lives we are defintely going through a period of evaluation. In this energy I'm working with Snowflake Obsidiae which is a wonderful Shadow Work Stone, Kambaba Jasper which is the stone of the warror, a very protective and empowering stone, and the Peach Moonstone which is our oracle stone for November. Conclusion November is going to be a very dramatic month. The final two months of 2021 are going to be fraught with tension and frustration. Pluto is highlighted this month after the challenging Mars energy of November. The word "Dissolution" has come up several times and it's perfect with the symbolisim of the Moon Cycle. The Dissolution phase of Alchemy causes all of the impurities to be removed and with Mercury Kazimi the Sun this month there is a major transformation on a collective Level occurring. So, my message is be gentle with yourself this month and December where that energy is even more extreme. https://youtu.be/caB6IO-1za0

Our brief repose of October is over. This is a difficult New Moon. This is probably some of the toughest energy that I've ever seen when looking at a New Moon Chart. The resistance to the energy this month is real. We are really torn, shocked and probably dismayed by a month that might feel like we're going four steps back while we are really trying to go forward.
This is a month to really tread lightly if you can! Don't try to do too much or take on too much. Your mind might say that you need to but there is just too much energy resisting actual action. This might be just a survival mode month where you focus on living in the Now as much as possible and take each day at a time. The Astrology Scorpio. There is no deeper, sensual or more passionate sign. This is the sign where we choose to scuttle along the ground like a Scorpion killing everything in our path or we learn to rise like the Phoenix from the ashes. This is the Sign of personal evolution. Saturn and Uranus are kicking our butts* this month- both are either square or in opposition to the Sun and Moon while also square one another. Uranus is upending the lives we have created to push us towards our evolution while Saturn is holding us back from the New World of Aquarius that is glimmering with the forbidden like Las Vegas to a sixteen year old kid. We've got some work to do before we are ready for the next level even though it seems to be in sight. This New Moon is opposite of Uranus which is forcing change. Neptune is Trine the Sun and Moon in Scorpio so not only is the illusion strong but we like it! Mars is conjunct the Sun, Moon and Mercury in Libra so we still have that aggressive energy from the Full Moon in Aries from last month only now everyone is on the same page (Subconcious- Moon, Conscious-Sun, Mercury-Mind and Willpower-Mars). Our willpower is fueling our conscious, subconscious, and logic to find fair solutions in all of our relationships or to lose our temper as we scream in outrage that things aren't 'fair' (what is 'fair' and is not 'fair' is a subecjective topic). With Uranus and Saturn working against us this month, however, this may be an act of futility. There are times to push forward and there are times where you need to sit back and reassess the situation. Even though Mercury is out of retrograde the overwhelming combination of the Uranus/Saturn dynamic has me thinking it's better to wait to do anything big until next March or April when the energy is a lot better. I know all of us are really sick of resting on our laurels but that's just how this year has been and we need to trust in the Divine Plan. Venus and Mercury are in sextile so our hearts and minds are on the same page this month. Not only is Saturn telling us it's not time but Pluto is square Mercury- no overthiking about justice or fairness allowed here!- and supporitng Uranus upending whatever energy is not serving us anymore. Indigenous Moon: First Freeze This is when Winter begins to set in and Mother Nature begins her rest. The plants wither and we gather the Final Harvest. Now we know the work we must do to survive this period of cold. The first snow falls giving us a hint at the depth of Mother Nature;s coming slumber. Yet, we are not quite there yet. Hebrew Letter: Nun This Hebrew Letter is tied to the Fish. Not only is Fish one of the most plentiful and nutritious forms of food (although, personally I can't eat it). Decaying fish is actually one of the most powerful fertilizers known to mankind. Another description is "the Seedling" or "Sprout". While we may not realize it the seed for next Spring has formed. The number of this letter is 50- which reduces to 5 which symbolizes change. Nun starts the letter for prophet and prophecy which always heralded change. This is also a Double bodied letter and begins and ends the Hebrew word for Melody. Nun is the opening and closing strains of a song which are often the same. Tarot Card: Key 13 Death A karmic cycle is closed (didn't we say that last month? That's what the 13 represents) but this Tarot Card is not about the closing door. The Sun rising in the background is Source and the river runs toward it...Spirit has called and caught our attention so now we are cultivating our illuminated Conscious and Subconscous (the male and female crowned heads) in preparation for our Rebirth. Medicene Card: Prarie Dog 47 (Reversed) Prarie Dog says it's time to take a break and retreat from the world. While it may seem as though we have a lot of work to do we may have over done things sowing chaos instead of harmony. We need to slow down and start to prioritize what is really important and let go of things that are not. Tools I'm focusing on Tools that invoke calm repose this month. For Air I'm going to use Lavendar Incense, for water Lavender Essential Oil and a Blue candle for Fire. The blue for the candle invokes the element of Water becaus the last thing I want to do is light a match in this poweder keg of energy. The Earth Grid Sodalite Generator: I want the energy that is projected to be calming so I chose this stone. This throat chakra stone is know for it's properties to bring restful sleep. This is one of the most calming peacful stones that I own. I always keep one by my bed and if I feel restless I add it to my medicene bag to help calm me down. Hypersenthe: This psychlogically cooling stone is one of my favroites. I always carry a chip with me and when I feel particularly stressed I will carry one of the bigger pieces that I own. I almost always have one as part of a grid somewhere in my house. I used the small chip that I normally carry with me for the purpose of the picture. I will probably use one of my bigger pieces in the grid I make on the day of the New Moon. Lepedolite: I'm using my big girl lepodlite for this grid. I don't take this from it's home grid very often because it is fragile. You can literally rub it onto your hands and it will leave a powder behind. In that powder is the lithium, a small amount, that is included in prescription drugs. This Third Eye Chakra stone helps keep us from overthinking or over anlyzing which often leads to stress or anxiety. Amazonite: One of my absolute favorite stones. This soothing stone is the Truth Telling Stone. This Heart Chakra stone helps us establish boundaries with others and express the truth in our heart without fear. Rose Quartz: The classic heart chakra stone of love. Nothing is quite as dreamy as Rose Quartz. While other Heart Chakra stones may focus on romance or deep healing this one is all about universal love. Clear Quartz Points- I really wanted to amplify the subtle energy of tranquility that this grid will be emitting so I added four Quartz points. Conclusion We need to slow down and make sure that we are doing quality work over quantity. We are in the final chapter of a book heading for a cliff hanger but if we take our time we may pick up the foreshadowing of what is to come. This is a month for deep Shadow Work where we go Inward...if we focus on the outer reality we may come to realize that we may become completely unbalanced when the new book finally arrives because what we read on that first page may not be what we expect. Keep in mind our Full Moon is a Lunar Eclipse this Month! So, this is not an ordinary Lunar Cycle. We may think we have everything figured out but that might not be the case. The Oracle Stone that I pulled for this month is Peach Moonstone. I love all types of Moonstone because they represent the qualities of the Moon which, in turn, represents the Subconscious. The Moon and the Subconscious quietly control the rhythm of our lives. Peach Moonstone, in particular, works with the Sacral Chakra- the Chakra of creativity and manifestation. So this is the stone for dreaming of creating new things and manifestation.
The Moon pulls on the gravity of the Earth enough to control the tides. The Subconscious, our connection to our soul (which is why dreams are the method through which are Soul communicates with us) is what governs our day to day life. By walking the path of the Seeker we develop our relationship with the Subconscious bringing it more into our conscious awareness. Until we do the personal work necessary our Subconscious controls our actions often provoking us to do things we can't explain. Adding to things is that we are in Scorpio Season this month and we have a New Moon in Scorpio that is setting the tone for the Eclipse season (September 19th and December 4th). In October we started our descent into our own personal darkness with strong Pluto energy and that is the heart of Scorpio. Scorpio is often described as a swamp filled with deadly creatures but there is also tremendous treasure to be found if we do our Shadow Work. This is the only zodiac sign with multiple symbols- primarily the Scorpion working with it in the negative and the Eagle for those who use the power of this sign to transcend their lower nature. Scorpio is the part of the zodiac where transformation can take place. In Star Wars this is the point where Luke decides to try to turn his father back to the Light Side instead of giving into the Dark Side himself and killing/defeating him. This is where, essentially, we face ourselves and either bring upon ourselves doom or earn the treasure that is rightfully ours in the Hero's Journey. I find it fitting that Thanksgiving falls in this month because after the trials and tribulations of gathering and preserving the harvest we know what Winter will bring. This year the energy certainly does not support action. Already, we know that theme is shortages- housing shortages, product shortages (in particular the chip), labor shortages, power shortages that will lead to higher prices and employee shortages to name a few. In the olden days shortages during harvest meant people would starve. People would strap their belts on tighter. These days, although inconvenient, at least people won't starve. Yet, it does mean that we failed to cultivate something that works this year. I see the month of November as one where we are Reflective like Moonstone. We dream of all that we wish to create but it remains on that abstract level because we are not going to have the resources to put them into place this year. This harvest is undesirable and it's time for us to explore ways to make what little we have work and think of how to make next year's harvest more prosperous (and I don't expect that to be the case because next year, energetically, is more of the same and a lot of people are not waking up as to why and how this is all happening but it may be a little better then this year). Change is hard and sometimes you have to hit rock bottom in order to see that it's time to get a new part instead of using more duct tape to keep everything together. Interestingly, to add to this dark underworld vibe a house here in California does a light show and what did they do last year...The Power of the Dark Side! Now, we know that the Dark SIde is not powerful but actually takes longer to achieve the ultimate goal of reunification with the Cretaor (knowing yourself ot be yourself and yet one with the Creator- which ultimately leads to service to others as opposed to the service to self ways of the dark side) but we are defeintely exploring the Dark Side this year and into next. We are experiencing the depth of what we don't want so we can be inspired to create a better way). This year they went back to This Is Halloween but this video popped up when I looked for this years and I found it approriate. This is an intense Full Moon but it is a good time to practice Shadow Work.
I always love Aries Full Moons. The energy is always refreshing and full of vigor but this one has a lot of aggressive Mars energy since it is the depositer (ruler of Aries) but the bigger issue is a possible burn out. For over the last year we have been dealing with the grueling Pandemic that has brought a lot of uncertainty into our lives. Here in the States Joe Biden promised to get things back to normal and then failed to deliver on the promise and instead instructed corporations to mandate the vaccine making him almost universally hated. The only way he could be hated more is if he decided to put in an actual government mandate but so far he's only cowardly required companies to do it for him. The theme of regaining Balance that started at the New Moon continues but there is an energetic refresh and a new start! With the fact that here in the Northern Hemisphere were in the Fall season and this Full Moon is heavily influenced by Pluto there is a real Underworld vibe. The story of Persephone (depending on which version you hear) comes to mind where we are experiencing something unpleasent but there are valuable lessons to learn for our spritual maturity. We really need to do our Shadow Work this month so that we are not nursing Old Wounds as we enter the upcoming new cycle, a new book, of a Nodal change that happens in January 2022. This is the start of the wind down of these energies (although, they will probably go out with a bang on December 24th with Saturn at full strength since it's direct and Uranus still retrograde). Do we really want to drag all of that old energy into a new cycle? Now is the time to dig deep and discern what we need- on an energetic level- and what we need to let go. This is only the start of going deep, however, because our next New Moon is going to be in Scorpio- the darkest and deepest of the signs but the most transformative- followed by a Full Moon Lunar Eclipse in Taurus where we may be asked to let go of something physical. Eclipse season always heightens the energy so next month this deep energy is going to be even more intense. The Astrology This Full Moon is at 27 degrees of Aries. Nine is the number of completion so again, we have the energy of a door closing. Aries, however, is the energy of intiation so there is a wave of fresh energy coming in- thankfully! Only Uranus, Neptune and Chiron are now retrograde...I don't know about you but I'm a bit grateful for that energy being offline this month. These slow moving planets aren't going to be changing signs any time soon so this is the only break we have from them wrecking havoc (especially Neptune's siren call of the Media and Uranus shaking up Earthly existiance to push us toward the Aquarian age both of which seem to have unleashed chaos). Chiron, even in Retrograde, is a major player in the energy and Eris, who are both in Aries, are highlighted with this Full Moon. Here we have been working with the energy of Wounded Rejection since 2018 when Chiron joined Eris in Aries (Wounds). Eris, the Goddess of Chaos (a good thing actually because it's the Chaos of Creation) was found in Aries and has been there since 1926. She will remain there until 2048 which is about the time when, according to esoteric sources, the major Earth and Collective Consciousness changes that intiate the Golden Age of Aquarius are settled. The Wounded aspect, Chiron, will move on from Aries in June 2026 into Taurus. So, this energy will be in our collective consciousness for some time. The Sun is conjunct Mars in Libra and Mercury is also in Libra. This gives us an extra boost to our energy and thinking. Our vitality, mental ability and consciousness are being balanced if we are working with this energy in the positive but in the negative the victim mentality may be in full swing causing us to yell, "That's not fair!" Jupiter is still trining Mars and the Sun in Libra giving an extra boost to our desire for things to be fair and balanced. Again, if we are looking for quick solutions we may feel burned this month. Saturn is still in Aquarius bringing limitations to that new horizon. However, it is Trining Lilith and the North Node...so in a way I feel like we are jumping out of a plane into this New Collective Consciousness and Saturn is our parachute controlling our descent. Lilith is bringing in an intense rebellious energy and Saturn is directing it. We may desperately want to be in that new world but I think all of us can be grateful to Saturn for slowing us down so the Collective doesn't go Splat! Lilith is there to remind Saturn that we need our wild freedom...our connection to nature and our 'animal soul' so we can't be held back too much (we do want to reach our destination at some point but not by sacrifing our individuality). Lilith, after all, was the first one to say, "Heck No!" to Group Think. The 'animal soul' is not a bad thing that is to be destroyed (such as the Priesthood tried to do). Pluto is also a major player in this energy as it squares the Moon, Sun and Mars. This has the potential to be a regenerative moment but most people may be fixated on the ending instead of looking to to new energy that's going to start trickling in. The only other hiccup in our giddy up for this Full Moon is that Mercury is Opposed Chiron so we may be rejecting our Wounded side. We really need to do the Shadow Work to accept and heal these Wounds or we will face the same karmic lesson that gave them to us on a greater scale. Oracle Stone Chrysocolla This is such a wonderful stone. There are different hues of blues and sometimes green. This is considered the lesser version of Turquoise but don't let that fool you. This throat chakra stone has many of the same qualities. This is a stone for balance and it also helps heal the body, mind and spirit. While this is a stone for communication I don't feel that it's communicating with others but honest communication with ourselves. Right now is a powerful time to journal. Meditation As I dreamt this lunar cycle hasn't been easy and with this Full Moon I don't think it's becoming any easier. The energy has been very dark and writing this Meditation was difficult because it is so difficult but I really wanted to focus on the silver lining. Also, I find it funny that I warned not to make hasty purcahses because we may regret them and, of course, my husband did just that (he doesn't listne to me). Not only did he buy me a super expensive Air Fryer that I didn't want (I wanted a specific recommended model and th eone he got me seems tobe okay but it's not good at what I wanted it for) but he also bought some things we already had (he aseked m if we had them and I wasn't sure and being sleep deprieved I didn't find them until he bought the new ones). The first thing I noticed about this Moon Cycle was that right at the New Moon Marvel dropped the final episode of What If and the movie Black Widow. I still find it intersting that Disney+ dropped both on the same day. Obviously, Black Widow was about that charecter but the episode of What If was also focused on Black Widow (who finally defeats Ultron). Neither were very uplifting or triumphant stories. Black Widow was down right depressing and What If had a very unsatisfying ending as well where the heros that had participated in that story couldn't tell anyone and the 'evil' Dr. Strange ended up baby sitting Zola and Killmonger frozen in time...so there wasn't even a definitive ending. When I first watched Black Widow I thought it was very Eris energy but there isn't much chaos in it, so after thinking about it, I realized it was more Lilith energy. There was a sister hood vibe to Captain Carter and Black Widow teaming up to finally defeat Ultron in What If and that was the main storyline of Black Widow as well- not only between Yelena and Natasha- but between all of the Widows. Both series were really dark and not very uplifting. On a real life level this has been a month of Rebellion with more people going on strike throughout the United States and major protests against vaccine mandates around the world (which are eerily not being covered by the mainsream media makes you wonder if there really is a conspiracy). When it comes to the worker strikes and people literally quitting their job there seems to be a lot of people who are tired of working longer hours with more responsibility since the 2009 Recession (when Pluto entered Capricorn!) while companies continue to make year over year profits. After twelve years of operating on very lean wages that came about because of the recession people are tired of working harder for less money. At the same time no one wants to be required to get an unproven (that doesn't even prevent the spread or infection) Covid vaccine by the company they work for and this new development (and manipulation by Biden) also has people thinking about the relationship between employee and employer. If I was a major corporation right now I would be looking at the future wondering exactly what was going to happen because the change isn't happening based on customer spending habits but with a lack of employees and a service can't be provided without employees. Anyone with the eyes to see knows there will be major cultural shifts as a result of the events happening right now- not just here in this country but world wide- and it's not going to be in the favor of those who want more control. Just like the ridiculously huge bills Biden is trying to get passed are going to fail horribly because they are not supported. Pluto in Capricorn neutered ObamaCare and killed Trumps infastructure bills as well because making the government bigger is just not in the energetic cards...making the government smaller is supported which is why all of the Trump Budget Cuts to the different parts of the government were imposed without challenge. Also, interestingly, as I noted in my Monthly Oracle Stone post that Fire Agate was our stone for the month and that our Willpower would be challenged. The term "Burn Out" has come up a lot recently. I'm going to include a video by Reiki With Anna that was created to help heal burn out energetically. Again, after twelve years of grueling overwork wtih the added burden of the Pandemic that's dragging on...people are done. People have really hit the limit of how far they are willing to be pushed by companies without being compensated for all of the demands (incluidng requiring a medical treatement!) that companies are putting on them. On a personal level I found the Pisces Full Moon last cycle really emotional (which I don't like becuase I'm a Capricorn) and I went into this New Moon with a sense of finality and an appreciation for the fragility of life (which is significant given Pluto's role in this Full Moon). Knowing my second child is my last I'm really soaking in the experience and as I was fretting over her at night (what parent doesn't check on their baby to make sure they are still breathing in middle of the night when it's been a particularly long time between feedings?) I couldn't help but think that even the worst adult had a parent that fretted over them and upon which they were dependent those first few vulnerable years. I know plenty of stories where children don't make it through those first few years of life- not because the parents were evil but because they made mistakes and it seems I've been coming upon quite a few of those stories recently. From a peidiatrician who knew better and let their newborn sleep on their chest only to disover the baby dead when they woke up to a father who left his two one year olds in his car during a triple digit day killing them because he was so distracted/distressed by work. To be human is to be vulnerable and from the moment we enter this world life is fragile. We take it for granted in our twenties but this experience (that so many seem to hate more than ever) is rare and special. At the same time, to be consnatly afraid and paranoid of death would prvent people from fully exploring and discovering the depth of life. I can also say that it's very sad so many people are not having children because, for me, it has given life even more meaning then any amount of cruises or inuldgent meals or vacations could. Yet, starting with Milennial's there has been a shift away from family values as achievements to those self-indulgences or 'canceling' people. On a personal level I've processed and purged a lot of emotions during this cycle. I processed emotions around my Mother (who pressured me to come to Texas and whom I wish could meet her second grand-daughter but I can't see traveling any time soon), emotions around my eldest daughters NICU stay/ and first couple of years of life, emotions around the Husband and all the emotions around the experiences I've had in hopsitals or in surgery. Although the thoughts have been overwhelmingly healing a lot were buried deep in my psyche and were pretty dark. Admitting how I felt, and that htings are a lot better now, felt purifying. I can really see how co-dependence (for example with my mom) has always lead to one-sided relationships where I gave a lot and was very limited with very little return (for example, when Micchelle was born my mom couldn't take any time off of work to help and I had to reward the husband for going to visit them every month so she could be a part of my eldest daughters life). The husband was pretty good, especially at night, around helping with the new litte one. This, by far, has been the most supportive and caring he's been during these experiences. A part of me wonders if it's because he wasn't there for the second one's birth or those first three days but, hey, I'll take the help. At about a month and a half that seems to be over and he's going back to his normal ways. He does seem to be more willing to hold Katie then he was Michelle during that first year (I remember how hard it was for me to get him to hold her long enough to take a couple of pictures when she was three months. I had bought her onsies that matched some 'Dad' shirts I bought for him that year for Fathers Day. He told me she was going to just barf and there was no point. The pictures are terrible and she did throw up on him - which he reacted to poorly but I was trying my best to make it look as though he was involved during that time. I do wonder if they have some Karma between them and if the karma is that much different with Katie because he's literally competeingwith me to hold her). Interestingly, on the /New Moon my husband went back to work and it was rough! I was glad he was gone but my eldest was so used to getting a lot more attention and stimulus that it took a while for her to settle back down. She's now back to playing on her own and using her imagination. On the 6th Pluto and Eris were in an exact square. They have been in a loose square most of the year. With Eris, the Goddess of Creation from Chaos, in Aries trying to start to new things and Pluto in Capricorn trying to end old outdated power structures...it adds to that feeling of having one foot on the brake and one foot on the gas pedal caused by the Saturn and Uranus squares. Neither plaent is entirely comforatble since Eris is in a masucline sign (Aries) and Pluto is in a feminine sign (Capricorn). On the 6th I ended up getting into a fight with the husband over the fact that I wanted to take a shower alone. I find that really funny because I said in my New Moon blog that this was a month where we would need 'me time' and I got into a fight with my husband over exactly that I just wanted a few minutes where I was by myself and he took offense because he really likes to take showers with me. Then it devolved into him saying he never gets 'me time' but I stuck to my guns and insisted I get four hours to myself every month. I just want to take an hour long bath once a week to keep my sanity. Arguing that he gets me time to and from work or when he's alone int he grage working on his friends projects or even when he showers alone doesn't work because he insists the only 'me time' that counts with him is when he plays music or exercises. While I do feel the energy of the big planets finally going forward I also realize that a similar cluster of Retrogrades are going to happen next year and next year will be much like this one. The issues we are facing now are going to come up and be processed/refined even more next year. The feeling of just spinning our tires unable to really get any traction is going to continue until 2023 so getting excited, especially now at the end of the month and looking to December 24th when Uranus and Saturn square again...it's not the timeto think that things aregoing to change in a big way. Given that I spent most of this year on bed rest hardly ever leaving home, which was a lot like 2020 because of Covid-19, I was wondering how that energy would come into effect in my p erosnal life. What on Earth was going to keep me home like that ever again? Well, I've resigned myself that not much will happen next year because the Husband has declared that during any free time he's going to be focusing on working on the projects he agreed to do for his friend. Given that with over a month off (granted he spent a few days helping me and "deep cleaning" which consisted of him re-organizing things he hardly ever uses so I can't find them) he didn't complete any of those jobs. I'm guessing it will take all year for him to get those jobs done- especially given that he will start working Saturdays again. Right now, I'm just planning on him being distant and mostly uninvolved next year. He's made it clear that is he really wants to work on those projects. Instead of denying that I'm just going to go with it. We will probably do family things on the holidays but I'm guessing he won't really be there even emotionally because he's going to shut me out as he works in the garage. That's okay because, quite frankly, the evolution of our relationship has made me far less dependent on him and that is in alignment with my personal evolution. My lifepath leads to independence. Having two totally different individualized lives is honestly the goal so while his life will revolve around his friends projects mine will revolve around the girls. I noticed the more I act independently and hold differeing opnions (I don't believe there is any point in getting the vaccination for example and I don't think that Trump was the best president ever or that he should run again) the less he wants to be around me. What is interesting is that with this transition into an even more distant aspect of my marriage is the Pluto influence. I would call it a coldness and Pluto has a chilling effect...so it's really interesting to see that play out and influence my relationship starting with this Full Moon. While a part of me is sad that he's choosing to be distant with his kids another part of me is relieved. He's so controllingit was honestly hard to watch him try to force our eldest to eat food that she didn't want and she's stubborn like us so she would starve herself instead of eat something she didn't like. He went through a total process of learning how little she eats and how picky she can be! I decided that I'm going to be gentle with myself. I'm going through a bit of a detox after a difficult period of time. Instead of trying to swim upstream, because I do feel so weary, I'm choosing to be receptive. Instead of trying to exert my will or even sharing my unwanted opinion I'm going to sit back and watch. I'm defintely in a learning curve as well trying to balance both childrens needs and they adjust. David Palmer, the astrologer (known as the Leo King), is describing it as a void. He just lost his father (I can't imagine but in some ways with their move to Texas I feel my parents are almost dead to me because they simply aren't there anymore) and that description really resonates. The Void, in metaphysical terms, is the Womb of the Crdator Goddess. So being in that space is regenerative (a Pluto trait) and promises a re-emergence but that isn't going to be until 2023. Since we are in that space of limitless potential known as the void for the next year we might as well enjoy it to the best of our ability. Yes, we are staring into an abyss where Christmas is going to be cancelled for a econd time (thanks to supply chain issues), the U.S. currency will probably be downgraded again, the average life span has gone down almost two years because millenials are committing suicide, the newest generation of men don't move out from their parents house, get married or even get a dregree, the amount of children being born is far lower then what's needed to sustain the population, and we have a bunch of out of touch geriatric people trying to feather their nest instead of working to make life better in this country on Capitoal Hill. Things look bleak and they look as though if they do change it's not going to be for the better. I see it as a time of dreaming and contemplating the potentials while knowing they won't be realized and may fall short of our romantic imaginings. Instead of fighting the burn out I think embracing it as being similar to a planet being Kazimi the Sun (much as Mars did this month and this Full Moon really belongs to Mars so symbolically it's in alignment)...a time of renewal but also referred to as that planet sitting on the throne of the Sun...I think we can harness that energy by going deep into it for personal growth. Yes, we are aware that we are the ugly duckling (the Swan card Reversed that we pulled for our Medicene Card this Lunar cycle) and yes, our transition into a gorgeous Swan is promised but seems to be in the distant future...we have that promise and we know the pre-determined outcome. We know the Earth is going through a transition into a new phase of beingness whether you call it Ascension, 5D or the Age of Aquairus. We know the end goal is that by 2045-ish the role of government will have changed. What's funny is that a lot of people, especially in the Spiritual Community, wanted change. Now that it's here and actually happening they seem to be tuning into Saturn and hitting the brakes because they only wanted specific things they didn't like to change and not everything to be different. Part of why this is such a long experience is because it's a little like energetic plucking. Saturn is cutting away what no longer serves us but keeps tweaking things a little at a time. As I said, I'm grateful for that process because it's a bit of a safegaurd. This movie was just down right depressing.
I have to admit that I was really disappointed by this movie. This was not even close to what I was hoping it would be...but it makes total sense this would be released on the Disney+ platform on the New Moon in Libra conjunct Mars. My main gripe with this movie is the same one I have with Captain Marvel. I get that striking the right tone for women super heros is tough because it's a new thing...but they should have a sense of humor and be girly too. Black Widow is girly but it's so grim. There is little sense of humor. The Marvel female super heros in their stand alone films are just too serious which makes them very shallow charecters. How is it the one thing that DC can get is the feminine super hero with Wonder Woman? For much of the movie all of the charecters look as though they just smelt a strong onion. All of them look as though they are about to cry or have terrible allergies. This must have been an intentional choice on the point of the director but it is really strange. My husband was so bored he was paying more attention to his phone than the movie (he was tracking a delivery). The movie did make me cry. Again, it was really depressing. The arguement that there wasn't much investment because we know Natasha survives and we know she sacrfices herself for the Soul Stone doesn't even explain why this movie is hard to invest in emotionally. The movie could have been written so that we thought someone else would die (Yelena does seem as though she was going to sacrifice herself but the scene is so abrupt!). Alexi* was probably my favorite charecter but he was reprehensible. When he hugged Natasha and Yelena saying their ledgers must be dripping red it was cringe inducing. In fact, that was part of the problem with most of the charecters...it was hard to like them. When Melina nearly kills the pig by making it stop breathing...well, it hard to believe she would help take down the Red Room and it'snot explained what she is doing with those pigs or why as an original Widow she is on that farm. I liked Yelena too but the dialogue was delivered in such a dead pan way that it was just flat. Now, since all of the actors spoke this way I'm guessing that it was a directorial choice and knowing a few Russians it does fit their behavior but it made the movie hard to watch. Connecting with charecters that don't show emotion and who view life from such a grim perspective that horrible things are seen as funny (the "I don't have a uterus...they just reach up there and pull it out," line Yelena said was not funny nor was the, "What? The pig has 11 m ore seconds before it died," was not relateable or funny. While Black Widow does succeed there is nothing uplifting about this movie on any level. Yes, we see why she goes and finds Captain America to work with him...but this was not the movie that I wanted. There was nothing uplifting about it and it really didn't make Black Widow more relateable. She has always been an enigma but this movie didn't do that charecter justice. Collective Level This is one of the movies that caused me to dub this as the, "Year of the villain." The charecters in this film, Natasha's family and she herself, are former Villains. They work together and bring down the Red Room together redeeming themselves to some degree but the movie makes it clear these are reprehensible people. The line that stood out to me was when Dreykov said that he took care of the world's problem of, "Too many girls." I've never heard anyone say that the world is over populated with women so that was the weirdest line. Yes, he comes off as someone who uses women as objects because he hates them...but he isn't really chauvanistic. So, even that charecter was really weird. I think what was so depressing is how this could be a metaphor for Global sex-trafficking. Obviously the "Widows" in the movie were being exploited...to the point where Dreykov turned his own daughter into a weapon. I found it reminiscent of how women were seen as property for a long time. In some parts of the world women are still seen as the property of men. I think that's what is so frustrating about the feminine movement where instead of doing things in a uniquely feminine way women are simply acting like men. If women truly believe women's unique perspectives are needed we need to behave like women. Right now women continue to compete and tear each other apart (remember how Hilary behaved regarding Lewinsky?l Instead of lifting each other up knowing that we are exploring new territory. If anything, I think we have too many men in this world and far too many women acting like men. Instead of beating men at their own comeptitive game women need to work together to show what community can achieive and how its superior to the male perspective of competition I think, even women, at this point are really bitter and don't think that cooperation in a group/company can (and inevitably does) win the day every time when compared to a group thati s in competention with one another and wiling to back stab everyone to get to the top (sounds like the current USA politics doesn't it?). When writing the energetic Lunar Cycle blogs for next year the Otter Medicene Card came up a lot. This year (2021) there is mostly Masculine Air energy but next year there is a lot of Feminine Earth Energy. The lesson Otter teaches is Susterhood. When we were Hunter Gatherers the men would compete on the hunt but the women didn't compete. Women cooperated with one another working as coordinated teams to gather, cook and build. They were the back bone organizing aspect of the society that cooperated. Based on that the idea that the Earth (Malkuth) and our soul group as Humans in general is considered a Feminine Being (that fell, according to the Kabbalah, because Adam Ha-Reshon gave her the light to early and she wasn't able to hold it leading to her being shattered) the ultimate conclusion is until humanity learns to cooperate and place that in the highest regard over competition...we won't be tuning into the true nature of our Spirit. We live in male dominated competitive socieities but women could start to change that in small ways. Women, in gaining more power, have emulated men instead of bringing their own "Medicene" into society and that needs to change. We shouldn't be trying to beat men at their own games as some sad attempt to prove ourselves worthy. We should be introducing new methods that take into consideration the needs, hearts and souls of the people we are leading...in other words more service to others and less service to self. We need that mother energy in the workplace and right now we have too much disciplinarian father energy that traditionally only views others/workers/wives as assets and not beings worthy of respect. Black Widow is a perfect metaphor for how women can break free from the dominant Masculine approach to life that reduces individual value down to the same as a Widget and focus on cooperative sisterhood where no one gets left behind (this is very Eris energy and not surprisingly she figures heavily in the Astrologywith her square to Plufo at it's peak as this movie came out- in my Full Moon Blog I'll go into this because it was abig theem of the New Moon). I almost passed on this series because Marvel Animated products weren't my favorite. Yet, this was done by Kevin Feige and most of the voice work is done by the actual actors/actresses that were in the movies (Scarlet Johansen being the only one so far not to reprise her role). I'm not sure if it's officially "Canon" but it's no coincidence that it came after Loki and the restoration of the Multiverse (which plays a role both in the upcoming Spiderman No Way Home movie and Doctor Strange And The Multiverse of Madness). Which is exciting. As each episode contains it's own story I will do a small review of each. Episode One: Peggy Carter Super Soldier This episode was just OK there were a couple of flaws and this did feel like a Feminist Fan Fiction at times. There was one part where she seems to break the fourth wall saying, "Do you see this?" And the Mech that Steve Roger's ends up piloting is weird but overall it kept the heart and soul of what made Captain America a great movie and story. Episode Two: Black Panther As Star Lord I really hated what they did with the charecter Korath being a total falling fan boy of Star Lord. That they made T'Challa a total Mary Sue (talking Thanos out of wiping out half the Universe) was yucky. The idea that Yondu would be okay with picking up a kid that had parents, was royalty and definitely not the target...and that T'Challa didn't fight to return home when he was first taken...was bizarre. Not to mention they made Nebula look like 7 of 9 right out of Star Trek. That they made Peter Quil a loser working at Dairy Queen was really harsh (was it punishment for his political views? Why is that a thing?). Gamora, the best charecter of the bunch, was also completely missing...and so we're Rocket and Groot. I almost gave up on this series as being horribly written fan fiction/fan service nonsense after watching this episode. Episode Three: The Avengers Never Existed This one was interesting. Unlike the first two episodes where characters were swapped out and the main movie story line played out similar to the live action movies...this had call backs to the phase one Marvel Movies but didn't rehash their storylines. In this one everyone except Fury from the Avengers Intiative is murdered before the Avengers could Assemble...even Thor is killed because "he would have been put on the list". Of course, Loki arrives for revenge and decides to stay as Earth's leader. I won't reveal the Murder Mystery villian. This one, was far more original and restored my interest in the series. Episode Four: Doctor Strange Loses His Heart Instead Of His Hands The husband and I were stumped by this title at first until we realized his heart was Christine. In this universe Christine's death is a fixed point in time that can't be changed especially because it prompts Dr. Strange to seek answers in the Mystic Arts. His obsession to save Christine drives him to become evil and the ending was really sad. This one is totally different from the Dr. Strange movie (that storyline was included at the very beginning) and cemented What If into a weekly requirement to watch. What was really interesting is we got to learn a little bit more about the Watcher, the narrator of the series, which was really fun. Episode Five: Zombie Apocalypse Eh...after twenty years of the Zombie Apocalypse theme I am so over this! The day this was released I was just listening to an Eiffel 65 I got when I was in High School and there is a song about the Playstation on there and they mention Resident Evil. This is one of those subjects that makes me think that we have been stuck on repeat as a Collective since 2020. This had moments of comedy but overall boring. (As of this writing at the start of September 2021 this is as far as I have gotten in the series, I'm scheduling this to be published soon after the series is done and I'm hoping to update this blog as the series continues). Episode Six: Killmonger Saves Tony Stark This episode was interesting. I did really like the charecter Killmonger but I'm starting to think that the series is a bit too much about Wakanda. There were parts of the episode that I actually found hard to watch. There was also something about the Animation of Pepper Potts that I didn't like. Overall it felt like another Fan Fiction/Service episode without much substance which is the only consistent theme/message of this series along with a focus on minority and female charecters. Episode 7: Thor Has No Sibling I didn't like the zombie episode but I liked this episode even less. Yes, it was a little funny to watch Captain Marvel and Thor beat each other up. The frat boy Thor charecter seemed way off and the animation was awful making him look like Fabio even though Chris Hemsworth looks like Patrick Swayze. There were a lot of gratitous cameos where the chaercterse didn't act lke themselves. Again, the writing on this feels like a lot of fan boys sitting around a table saying what they would like to see without any respect for the charecters. Yuck. There are not many episodes left and so far I only like one. So, for casual fans this series is defintely a must miss. Episode 8: What if Ultron Won? Age of Ultron is one of the worst Marvel movies. Ultron was supposed to be one of the worst villians for the Avengers yet they overcame him pretty easily in that movie. In this episode Ultron is that ultimate villain that fits with the comics. This episode was really good. I loved the Watcher being startled when Ultron realized that there were more planets and then more universes. Not suprising, this is just part one of this story and the Watcher turns to the evil Dr. Strange for help...and that Dr. Strange demands to know if the Watcher is willing to break his oath of non-intervention. I am wondering if this is going to tie into Spiderman's No Way Home and Dr. Strange and the Multiverse of Madness. Is this ulitmate evil Ultron going to be the bad guy for this new phase of Marvel or is he going to be defeated in the next episode? I feel as though the other episodes (aside from Dr. Strange losing his heart) were just filler and this is the story that really motivated the series. Episode Nine: What If The Watcher Broke His Oath This was a cluster of an episode. On one hand it drew together all the stories told in the episodes. Evil Dr. Strange even used a portal to bring Zombies to a planet/universe that had too little life to interest Ultron just so he could be confronted by the evil Scarlet Witch (I found that hilarious). The title "Guardians of the Multiverse" was a little weak. While the Watcher sweeping in to tell people they were "Chosen" was funny (especially with party boy Thor) it quickly took a turn for the worse. First, a Gamora was chosen where she was working with Tony Statk but she was the only one without an episode to explain her backstory* but she was a vital part of the episode. The YouTube channel New Rockstars actually did a segment entitled "Missing Episode" for her. Then the battle just kept going on and on to the point where it was boring...and at the end of the day there was no need for the team up...Thor and T'challa, for example, were mostly useless and Killmonger was nowhere to be found during the fight. They seem to defeat Ultron about three times just for himto cme back. Ultimately for Strange to realize that's not the point...they just need to seperate the stones from the body. Killmonger is in the episode for only a few minutes but he ends up being pivotal because, of course, he betrays everyone trying to take the infinity stone for himself but that was the point. I did like that the Watcher let's the Black Widow from the dead planet to go to another world where she is needed (how does Fury know she's not 'his Natasha' but has her spirit? Was he already in contact with or aware of the Watcher on that world?) Overall Thoughts The series had some serious flaws. I wasn't a fan of the animation. I didn't like that charecters weren't true to the spirit of their charecters in the movies. There was a lot of fan service and for some reason Natasha ended up having the most important role. I don't think anything that happened in this series will affect the actual M.C.U. The finale was okay. I thought it might lead to something more. I did find this Ultron more of a threat and that did redeem that charecter. Ultumately, not many people watched this and it amounts to nothing. i found it mildly entertsining and slightly better then their usual animated shows. Overall, a very unimpressive series and definitely not anything I will watch again.
As I've shared over the last two years I've started following a lot of Walt Disney World Vloggers and LiveStreamers. Most do more than just the Walt Disney World Park but either way it's something I tune into every day. Yes, it's materilistic and people can say simplistic or even escapist. Being home so much since the start of the Pandemic when the Husband was the onlyone to go out shopping and then on partial bed rest for the last six months (I just recieved the okay to go upstairs and it's nice to sleep in my bed with my husband and not the couch but it feels so weird! Especially since we have the newest member of the family in her crib in the bedroom as well!) I think living vicariously through people who were going out was super beneficial.
Last month was an explosion of Halloween coverage which was interesting (but I couldn't watch it while the three year old was around because the Knotts Scary Farm and Universal stuff was just too graphic). Now, everything has switched to the 50th anniversary of Walt Disney World (which is funny because we are now in the month that holds Halloween). Along with that celebration came two new shows at Disney World. Now, fireworks only recently came back as the park was able to allow more pople in and crowd levelswent up. So,a lot of people feel that they were slighted when it came to the previous shows at the parks- Happily Ever After at Walt Disney World and Epcot Forever at Epcot. For the last week the peple at the parks have shared those shows over and over again. I admit I wasn't impressed by either. There are some fascianting about the timing of these new shows and their messages. There is a lot of hate for them, strangely, and a lot of love too. I've posted both above but I'll share my thoughts on them. Harmonious I found it very interersting that this show premiered during the start of Libira season. This show is features songs from charecters around the world with their own unique langage being woven into one harmonious song. This represents that each culture can maintain their uniquness but also be in harmony with one another. I think Small World did that better but given that this is Epcot and each song was assocatied with a country in the World Showcase I found it brilliant. The technology was amazing. The firework canons on the arms of the barges was fantastic and over all it was just a beautiful show. However, as I've witnessed with other Disney shows the musical covers tend to fall far short of the originals in the movies. The music mix could have been smoother as well and, in particular, the ending needs some work. Given that I'm calling next year the New Power Structure where the majority of entertainment will either have a female lead or a non-white lead...well, that makes this show even more interesting. The ending is what I found the most interesting. Instead of going out with a very inspirational number they chose something super strange. There is a song from Hunchback of Notre Dame called, "Someday," which is not as catchy as the other songs from that movie and what I found interseting was that the part that was really easy to hear was, "Someday, life will be fairer," which I felt came off very awkward and woke so I can understand why the ending confused a lot of people. P.S. I watched this video by Tim Tracker where the creator of Harmonious explained it. I think that what he describes sounds like an epic endeavor but it really failed to come across during the show. The final song was, "Someday," form Hunchback of Notre Dame and did seem very anti-climatic but as it was kind of hinting at Climate Change and how the 'world could be taken away) it does fit but it's a very somber ending that's not very uplifting and, at the end of the day, if it has to be explained to people in order to get it...well, the dude kind of failed at his job. Check out that video from Tim Tracker here but note that the interview with the Creator of Harmonious is near the end: https://youtu.be/ZHdO_LDTU9Q If you want to see the lyrics in a video for that final song from Harmonious I'm embedding a lyri video at the end of this blog. Personally, I think the song flat out sucks as is but it really doesn't make sense as a finale. Again, though, the theme of the song is very Libran in nature. Enchantment I thought this was very interesting. First, the name didn't seem to have anything to do with the show...yet an Enchantment is a magical term for a spell or potion that triggers a magical respnose. This show was a departure from the normal narrative that Disney tells. Usually, and one of those things that's highly criticized about Dinsey, is the story is about being saved or happily ever after because of love. This show is about how the magic is within each person, a spark in their heart, and that the magic resides within all of the guests/Disneyy fans which I thought was an incredible message. Sadly, a lot of people hate this one as well and that's a shame. I was really happy to see Joe Gardner and 22 from Soul along with Wall-E and Eve. The songs were not the usual mix but featured a lot of songs that haven't been played to death. Conclusion I think that both of the shows were very good and I think that it does show a change in culture. That change in culture has made a lot of people uncomfortable. I think the main divide is between the Boomer/Gen X and the following genrations. Starting with millenials edcuation was very different and there was this whole thing where teachers really taught that with the new millenium there would be a difference and that the Millenial Generation (the Indigo children) were going to somehow save the world. I don't know who people do that by playing video games int heir parents basements but...that's what my generation was taught. We were taught that the world was in emanante dystopian peril...but it's also the generationt hat is the most spiritually awake. As someone pointed out with the John Titor story, instead of questioning its validity, the newer generation was more open minded and wanted to know what it meant. Of course, John Titor warned that our world was about to come to an end (he also accurately predicted YouTube and social influencers becoing the main form of entertainment). So, that old school group that looked to someone outside of themselves making them happy does get the generation that was told by educators that the Boomers used up (consumed) everything and that they were going to be left on their own to pick up what remained and rebuild. With Pluto in Capricorn tearing down the old insitutions...rebuilding and transformation is defeintely happenig just as Milenials really take over the responsibility of much of the production and creativity. The Boomers have retired beause of Covid and there is a huge difference in the way Millenials work compared to the older genrations. So, it doesnt' surprise me that both Harmonious and Enchantment are more thought provoking then the pervious shows because it really reflects the reality of Millenials. That reality is very different from the Boomers who see the old power structures as okay and working just fine. Wehreas Millenials have grown up being taught that everything is broken and that we have to fix it. I think there is some wildly different ideas of how to fix it but it is very clear that the Boomers an part of Gen X (especially the religious ones) exist and beleive in a very different reality then Millenials and Zoomers. The biggest reason for that is that he old systems worked well enough for the Boomers and Gen X to have really good and comfortable lives...but the Millenials have been through multiple 'end of the world' scenarios (starking with the Y2k thing) and were taught tha we can't depend on Social Security and that the Economy, when it comes donw to it, is just smoke and mirror (what determines value, especially the value of a paper dollar, is very tenuous indeed especialy with out a Gold Standard and non-stop Printing). I find it very interesting that the Federal Bank is investing in BitCoin. I think switching to a new digital currency, especially if the US defaults financialy and is downgraded, will be the way that the Fed will literally reset the economy like resetting a computer because the paper dollar had played out it's value. When the British devalued the first currency of the US, the Continental, they had to create the Dollar that was harder to fake. Anyways, I'm diegressing so that's the end of this blog! After the Tower Moment (an abrupt experience that is created to wake us up from our stupor- a call of Spirit) of September this New Moon symbology is all about pausing and reassessing the situation to create a better game plan because what we have been doing is not working. I'm sure that I'm not the only one who has felt that society has been dealing with things in an off kilter reactionary way. I keep asking people what the End Game with Coronavirus is going to be...we will never eradicate the virus (my sister in law who has a doctorate in immunology knew that from the start), we will never reach 100% compliance with vaccination and even if we did would they expect us to get vaccinated every six months? I don't think the CDC thought things out and they are showing they are overpaid inept morons (they had one job, one, and they have failed horribly).
There is a really strong push by Lilith to focus on liberation this month as she conjuncts the North Node. With the energy of this month the only way to find such liberation is to turn within and mediate. I know that a lot of spiritual people are frustrated and feeling defeated right now. No matter where you are on the issues the realiztion that the way we thought things would work out hasn't manifested. Whether you thought there would be nearly 100% compliance of the vaccine and it could be eradicated (both imposisble) or you thought the hysteria would blow over by now (as I keep hoping) without a goal of what needs to be achieved to end the pandemic things look grim indeed. Without defining the paramenters for when the Pandemic will offically end it's easy to get stuck dewlling on the idea that there will be endless lockdown's, endless mask mandates and required booster shots every six months for a new vairant...until someone in goverment or the CDC wakes up and becomes the leader we need. This is a month to take a break from the Media Narrative (Neptune doesn't play much of a role), get back to basics in our personal life and not worry about the Collective. The Astrology The strong Lilith energy from last month's Full Moon helps start off this Moon Cycle along with a hefty amount of Libran energy. Neptune, thankfully, doesn't have a strong influence this cycle. So, the news/media should be snoozing for the most part. I'm sure they out did themselves in September so we can all use a break. The power house of energy in this chart is a fantastic Stellum in Libra at 13 degrees. The Sun and Moon (representing our conscious and subconscious) are with Mars and Mercury. This is going to help restore some stability and rhythm back into our lives after September's disruption. Thirteen is a powerful master number. This number symbolizes the completion of a powerful Karmic Lesson. No wonder September was so rough! The Karmic debt has been repaid and it's now time to assess what we have learned. Beautiful Wild and Free Lilith is still on our North Node in Gemini helping to guide the Collective Consciousness. She is forming a beautiful trine to the Stellum in Libra helping us with how we apply this energy into our mental realm (Gemini). Jupiter in Aquarius is giving that New Age Energy a boost so we really feel that pressure of needing to be a rebellious Individual aware of our Oneness while wanting to push past frontiers and create innovative technology. Of course, Saturn is in Aquarius with Jupiter so all of our ideas and frontier exploration is being held in check and Jupiter will be leaving Saturn in Aquairus on December 28th- meaning we might not actually make the progress we think we are...but we are getting a slight preview, a taste or a trailer for what is to come when Aquarius isn't held in check by Saturn (March 2023). Mercury is also in Retrograde so it's time to rest, relax and reassess. This is not a cycle to start a new project or make a purchase. In fact, there are seven planets in Retrograde so this is a very introverted Full Moon. Indigenous Moon: Hunters Moon This is a Moon where we pause. This is a moment where we pause before the hard work of final preparations for Winter begins. This isn't a time for Harvest or a time for planning. Just a moment to reflect and relax (which makes sense because Mercury is Retrograde). Hebrew Letter: Lamech/Lamed The Hebrew Letter for teacher. This one translates to, "The Heart That Understands Knowledge." This is a letter that calls on us to listen to our inner observer. In the negative this letter can lead to slander or gossip. In a way, people who gossip are teachers although they're usually teaching a fear based lesson on negativity. Tarot Card: Justice Key 11 Key 2, the Justice card is all about balance. This is the Tarot Card associated with Libra. With her discerning Sword (Saturn) she cuts away anything that might be an obstacle to our growth...sometimes we're attached to what needs to be removed so if we are unaware it can be painful. She pulls us back from extremes and back onto the Path. Medicene Card: Swan 39 (Reversed) We can't help it...we have the ugly duckling syndrome here. We think that things are ugly, we lack grace, and we are flat out ungrounded. We need to get grounded and regain our balance. Going for a walk in the Garden Barefoot, taking a bath, visit the ocean or just some form of nature to remind ourselves that we really are the Swan who trusted that no matter how unpredictable or scary it may seem- it is all within the Divine Plan. Conclusion This is a great cycle for getting our feet back under us. While it may be difficult it's important to take some "me time" this month and really get back to basics after all the overthinking last month. Wild and free Lilith with the North Node is showing us that there is a path to follow. That path is one of Liberation. We need to turn inward to find that liberation instead of trying to project it or change the world outside of us into the image we want to see. This is a month for inner contemplation and deep meditation. Tools I'm moving the Tools section to the end of the Blog because I feel that it flows better and there may be some upcoming New Moons where I don't have the time to write the Tools that I am using. I'm attempting to write, take pictures and schedule posts of the New/Full Moon before my second daughter is born through December 2022. (Actually, I managed to knock out all of the new blogs so this will be the only one this way...weebly is being difficult with cutting and pasting (I'm writng this just after the Aquarius new moon and electronics seem to be getting fried by the wild Uranus lightning bolt) . We need Grounding badly this month. The earthiest most grounding scent that I can think of is Patchouli. I know some people don't like it (I didn't like to use it but as I became older I started to have an appreciation for it) but that's the incense I'm going to use to honor the direction of Air (Initiation/Idea) and the oil I'm going to use for water (the stage where we our intentions take shape). For fire (the act of preperation- where we gather tools for our project) I'm going to use a brown coffee candle. Coffee is very Earthy to me and from past ceremonies I have some Jet in there to bring in some peaceful vibes. The Grid I really wanted to focus on meditative stones. Clear Quartz Pyramid- Quartz represents the amplification of energy. At the center I'm using a pyramid or Tetrahedron. The Sacred Symbol of the Pyramid has 4 sides creating balance- the focus of this New Moon. The Square at the bottom represents Earth and the three angled sides represent the other three directions. With the point at the top it suggests a connection of Earth (the square at the bottom or Created Creation) and Heaven. Lithium Quartz- Lithium literally brings peaceful soothing energy. Lithium is used to treate depression and anxiety. This tranquil state of being is amplified by the Quartz matrix that holds the Lithium. Polished Moonstone: I think of Moonstone as the ultimate meditaion stone. Representing the Moon it especially reminds me of the Full Moon where we meditate and reflect on the Lunar Cycle. This Crown Chakra stone literally helps us raise our awareness. Star Sapphire: This magical brow and throat chakra stone helps us cultivate awareness and wisdom. Honey Calcite: This super yummy stone helps us ground and connect with nature. Lithium Chips: Similar to the Lithium Quartz this helps bring a tranquil peaceful feeling. Carnelian Chips: Since our Willpower is being challenged this month I included Carnelian, a powerful Root Chakra Stone, to help give us that extra boost of energy that we will need to take our seat on the meditation pillow. |
