I picked up this book for two reasons: Francesca Simon on Charing Your Course (a Facebook live show she does every Sunday) was talking about Qigong and Daniela Abravanel's book The Secrets Of The Hebrew Alphabet. In Secrets Daniela talks about traditional Chinese Medicene and how traditional Hebrew medicene probably parallelled that practice.
I bought this book in particularly because of the image on the fribt reminded me of a piexe of artwork I created that was inspired by the Tree of Life concept, I would not recommend this book to someone that has not studied Alchemy or Paul Foster Case's work on the 22 Major Arcanum Tarot Cards. Without that knoweldge this book may be of interest...but confusing. Even the author doesn't seem to comprehend the esoteric teachings. However I am so thankful for this book. Unlike the other books on Qingong this is a complete and exhaustive referencial examination of Qigong and not a how-to book aimed at beginners. That makes this textbook unique! To my surprise and amazement it appears that those who practice Qigong in China were Alchemists. If I hadn't studied Alchemy I would not have understood this book and I don't think the author fully understood what he was writing. The author did research on the various chinese manuscripts that outline Qingong. The book is very good at covering all of the historical basis of Qigong and going over the different faucets of the traditions several times. This is a textbook so the fact that information is repeated alot is not surprising to me at all. What was surprising were the alchemical references...most notably the union betwen the subconscious and the conscious mind and the description of the Shen baby (read quotes below)...which we know from Alchemy and the 7 cards of the Tarot that depict the Path of the Seeker refers to a new state of consciousness. The author doesn't seem to understand this reference but it's important. Now, instead of focusing entirely on the esoteric references in this book let's look at some basic concepts in Qigong that this book does an awesome job conveying. Two Types Of Students 1, Those seeking enlightenment 2. Those seeking physical health and longevity The Three Treasures- Jing, Qi, and Shen "This is caled Lian Jing Hua Qi which means "to refine the Jing and convert it into Qi...then he learns how to lead the Qi to the head and convert it into Shen...Finally, the practitioner learns to use his energized Shen to govern the emotional part of his personality...This is called Liean Shen Liao Xing or to refine the Shen to end human (emotional) nature." Jing- Essence Jing is in everything. This is the essence from which all of creation is formed. In human beings there is Original Essence that we inherit from our parents. This Jing can be cultivated but if we abuse it the supply can be exhausted making us ill more often and age faster. As we grow we start to absorb Jing from food and air. This is why the quality of the food we eat and the air we breathe is so important. They are the source of the essence that we use to help power our bodies. Qi- Internal Energy There are rivers of energy that travel through the body helping the organs thrive. These rivers of energy can be blocked due to emotional disturbances. This is the primary system of channels that the acupuncture system works with. The Qi is closely related to blood...the author explains wherever Qi flows blood follows. Shen- Spirit This is a little more esoteric. The Shen doesn't seem to have an effect on the body...instead it's something that is developed..."When Ling Shen is built up to a high level...these people are referred to as 'god', 'immortal' and fairy." The author also explains that this is how enlightenment is reached. Yi and Xin There are two types of mind in Qigong: Yi- "The mind which is related to wisdom and judgement. When Yi has an idea, it strives to bring it to actualization in the physical world as either an event you will seek in bringing about or as an object you will create. The Yi is focuse and firmed by the will." pg 31 Xin- "...Literally means heart...Xin also denotes the presence of an idea , this idea is much weaker than that expressed by the Yi . Xin is generated by and affected by the emotions." Now, the author does instruct the student to try and repress his emotions. Which, if you have read this blog you know doesn't work. This book isn't perfect and the author isn't the best teacher. He's passing along the knowledge he gained from his research but he doesn't really seem to comprehend what he's writing...he's transmitting the information without the comprhenshion- BUT at the very least he's being true to the Source Material. The second thing I noticed was the emphasis on the Kidney...again. In Daniela Abravanel's book she connects the kidney with several passages in the Torah (first five books of the Old Testament). In Chinese Qigong the Kindney is the source of the original essence...and I will have to investigate this subject more and write a blog on this topic. (There are five important organs in Qigong- Heart, Lungs, Kidney, Liver and Spleen.) I am out of post it markers...which means I can't tell you how many things I thought were significant in this book. I'm sure I would have marked a lot. I did mark some passages because they stood out to me so much I couldn't help it so here are some quotes: "Sometimes Qi is felt on the upper lip. This is because there is a channel (Hand Yangming Large Intestine) which runs over the top of the shoulder to the upper lip. However, the feeling is usually stronger in the palms and fingers because there are six Qi channels which pass through the shoulder to end in the hand, but there is only one channel connecting the lip and shoulder." pg.98 (This quote is signficant to me because I have sensed this energy in all three- center of the palms, fingers and the upper lip but had no idea what it was before!) "Normal Abdominal breathing is the next step after chest breathing for the Qigong beginner...This kind of breathing is is called "Fan Tong" breath or "Back to Childhood" breathing because it is deep, soft, and natural like a childs. It is the first step in Nai Dan Qigong training." pg 128 (The fascinating thing is that in another part of this book the author refers to this as Embryonic Breathing which D.W. Hauck talks about in his Alchemy Workshop Book). "From table 11-1 you can also see that your emotions are closely related to the condition of your organs. In order to protect your kidneys, you should avoid fear. Fear originates in your mind. You should understand that fear will not solve any problems. You must face your problems and find the solutions. Once your mind is clear, you will know how to avoid situations which cause you to fear. This is the process of regulating your mind, and is the way to maintain your kidneys in good condition." pg 166 "What are the differences between the Spirit and the Soul? Since there is no exact translation from Chinese to English, I need the exact defintion and description of these words." pg 268 (This fascinating because Edgar Cacye describes both a soul and a spirit...both are distinct but he never really gives what is different between them). "How do we generate a "spiritual baby Shen" in Qigong training? In Qigong in order to reach the final goal of enlightenment you must train yourself until you have given birth to a baby Shen. Only when the baby has grown independent will your spirit not die, but live forever...is this true? If we believe that a highly cultivated mind is able to speed up the process of evolution, then the mind may be able to reach many other things which are beyond human understanding." pg 269

In her book Jamie Sam's explains that we get Pop Quiz's. We might be going along the Path of the Seeker merrily. We may even be coasting when- wham!
Out of the blue Spirit gives us a Pop Quiz to see if we are applying what we have learned. In one of the readings Edgar Cacye warned that to learn spiritual truth and not apply it in one's life is a 'sin.' In a way, it is similar to knowing that you have a failing liver but only drinking alcohol. My mom went through one recently. I went through one recently in July. I found it amazing how different our reactions were to the situations. While it took awhile for me to realize I was in a Pop Quiz situation in January once I realized what was going on my training kicked in. I was able to step back and use clairvoyance- clear seeing- to figure out the "why" of the situation. I knew it was a tremendous opportunity for healing. I was on a mission to uncover what needed to be healed. I can now say that I'm in the process of healing a multi-life thought pattern that brought me a lot of pain. My mom, however, continues to see each Pop Quiz that she receives as punishment from a vengeful God. She won't listen to what I have to say but wants to go to a psychic to tell her what to do and why it happened. The thing is I know she will continue to have these Pop Quizs with increasing severity until she learns the lesson on a soul level. When we face a challenge it doesn't mean that are Path is incorrect. There is no reason to believe we are being punished for something we are unaware. These two negative beliefs will cause the pattern we are trying to heal to become more wounded and engrained into our energetic (emotional) body which if not addressed will make us increasingly sick physically. No one can do the work for us. They can probe around in the ocean of the subconsious to give us clues about the why. That may be helpful but it can also be distracting. Ultimately, only we can heal ourselves. Energy healers can teach us what it feels like to be in that healthy energetic state. They are just a temporary tool to help us reconnect with our own essence allowing healing spiritual energy into our energetic/emotional body. When we keep ourselves from being connected from Source Energy (we cannot ever be outside of it because All-That-Is...is what makes up everything we encounter) our bodies become like stagnant pools. Energy is neither coming in or out of our energetic/emotional body. When we pollite that pool with mental garbage (negative media information, negative/self defeating thought patterns of shame, unworthiness or guilt..etc) the part where it gathers fosters. Physical diseases are the result of long term pollution. That's why when we beggin to receive Source Energy into our bodies and purge the old negative energy the blockages, or particular stubborn, garbage rises to the surface and must be dealt with. Saying the garbage doesn't exist or blaming an outer force- such as God- for this accumalation rising into the conscious mind is a disservice to the individual. The Sevenfold Path is a way of dealing with and clearing these blockages. This is the path Mystics have created and tread since the creation of our neck of the woods. Conclusion A Pop Quiz doesn't indicate that you are failing spiritually or that you're being punished. Instead, it's a tremendous opportunity for self-growth and transformation. We are transforming the stagnation energetic state we are into a dynamic state of being. Each time we fish out that garbage from our psychological depths and decide the belief or behavioral pattern does not serve us...we create a better life for ourselves and contribute to a healthier world. So, next time you face a Pop Quiz itself important to stop and say, "Thank you for this opportunity to heal." You can choose to remain the same but, then, you really shouldn't be surprised when you get what you got before...only changing the accompanying behavior to one that serves the highest good will produce a lasting change.
One of my favorite part of Christian holidays is that the origin of the traditions they are based on are Ancient Spiritual Traditions that predate Christianity. To me Easter is not the solemn day where we remember the gruesome death of Jesus on the cross but a day to celebrate rebirth and spring.
Easter, the name and traditions, are definitely based on the Goddess Ostara. She is a German Goddess who's symbols are the rabbit and eggs. Obviously, this is the origin of the Easter Bunny and Easter Eggs. Rebirth is the meaning behind the Chritian holiday as well (churches like to inspire guilt so people are more likely to empty their wallets) as it should be the celebration of Jesus rising from the tomb and is associated, in the Edgar Cacye work, with the sixth step on the 7 Fold Path of The Seeker and the Pituatary Gland (Brow Chakra). Here are the video's regarding the brow chakra and the 6th Tarot Card depicting the Path of The Seeker.
This Easter I'm really feeling the energy of rebirth and transformation.
Molly McCord in her recent podcast talked about how some of us are completing a healing cycle of the last five years. I will have the YouTube video of her at the bottom of this blog. My Five Year Journey For me, that is really accurate. Five years ago my first born daughter, Lilith-ann, passed away and triggered my Spiritual Awakening that led to the discovery of the 7 Fold Path Of The Seeker. Essentially, not only did I discover this powerful ancient training but I'm working on healing and transmuting a major soul pattern that led me to create a lot of negative scenarios in my life. That, of course, was a belief I had to sacrifice my needs, desires and wants so that my loved ones would be happy. This is a pattern and belief that started several lives ago- probably in the life when I was 'like a nun but not a nun' in Jerusalem during the Crusades where I was the one who 'baked the bread.' That was harmful in many ways. First, it led to resentment on my part because I felt others were ungrateful when I poured out my love, attention and gifts upon them...without receiving anything equivalent in turn. Many people are not gifted with the intuition for consideration or care that I am capable of giving. However, I can only give, especially on such a powerful level, for a limited time without receiving and becoming spiritually exhausted. Second, it impedes the other person's spiritual progress. By receiving love and abundance through my nurturing they have no reason to work on themselves. They need to discover a desire to connect with those energies on their own. The only way that really happens is a Dark Night of the Soul and if I rescue people they don't hit that rock bottom that may actually prompt them to choose the Spiritual Path of the Seeker to find their own happiness. Creating Space In order to receive it's important to let go of old energy first. This is kind of like changing or cleansing a home. The first thing you do is use some Sage spray, incense or a bundle. If it's the incense or bundle a fan or feather can be used to spread it through the home while holding the intention of cleansing and creating space for the new. That led me to make a few changes. I have dived into the Hermit Mode. I've cut off social media which is hard for an empathetic intuitive. Since I was there for it's inception, starting with MySpace and then going to Facebook...I never realized how draining it has been. I would pick up on the subconscious spiritual needs of others and tried to carry them a bit with uplifting words or prayers. Most people focus on and share their suffering...this is conditioned/programmed behavior that has been reinforced by society, parents, peers, teachers and the media at large. Letting go of all of that has been tremendously beneficial for me. Then I went through my closet and got rid of a lot of old clothes I've been hanging onto for a very long time. The majority of my non-work clothes were at least ten years old and the rest were from the nineties...twenty years ago. That was tremendously freeing as well... I love the potential of an empty cloest. Setting Intentions Then I created a bucket list. I've fulfilled four of those which I will be writing about soon. I also decided that this year I would give myself one inexpensive gift each month,. Receiving This by far the hardest since I'm so used to buying gifts and doing things for others. Following through with my intentions has required me to step forward boldly to help myself. I'm so used to offering treats up to others I almost don't know how to give to myself, to indulge and I feel a little guilty. That guilt is what others have exploited in the past. I know the more I practice the stronger my ability to receive will become. Every day represents an opportunity to practice receiving. Since my house faces East I can open up the blinds and receive the light of the dawn with gratitude. That small act creates an environment ripe with abundance. As though the universe is replying to this new energy that I am broadcasting I have received a lot of new subscribers to my YouTube channel. Every week there has been at least two. I currently have 71 subscribers! I have some videos that are over 100 views which is fascinating. Especially since the Alchemy and Kabbalah videos appear to be the most popular. This website currently has over 700 unique views a day and almost 1,500 page views. That's amazing! I never received so much when I was focused on giving. Conclusion I'm enjoying the joyous energy of rebirth that spring represents. This is a beautiful time of so much potential when the seeds we planted in the death of winter that took root send up the first few blades of growth. I know, for me, this year will be of that energy of planting seeds in the death of Mother Winter. I don't expect to reap anything, really, from this year. Since this is the first (until July) year in the new 7 year cycle what I do now will inluence the next six years. This year, for me, is one of Calcination and Dissolution. The dross and burdens of bygone years are being burned away. This is not the most pleasent process. Every positive action I take day by day to restore the balance of giving and receiving in my life helps with the process. As this is a new pattern it's not easy and I sometimes find myself slipping into old habits. Reassuring everyone else that their needs will be met while denying my own. Some things are as simple as feeling guilty that I am eating some of the Philidelphia Cream Cheese that my husband likes to buy...and he wont buy two because he considers it a luxury. No doubt he will soon stop buying it completely if we both continue to eat it. This is not a process to be hurried but savored and celebrated as sacred. Every act that I undertake that refills and restores balance is important. I celebrate every little act of independence (the pattern of sacrifincing my needs so anothers can be met is one of Energetic Co-Dependence or being the willing victim of Energy Vampirisim. I hope that hearing of my journey this Spring will inspire you. Intention is the most important part, of course, because if I was doing this out of the need for revenge, if I had taken the road of disempowerment and believed myself to be a victim...the next 7 years might be awful. My intention, then, would be subconscious and probably based more on revenge. Instead, I take responsiblity. This was a situation I was creating. As they say, it takes two to tango and by changing my thinking, my behavior and my belief I can successfuly change the energetic exchange between myself and all fo those I am in a relationship with. I'm sending you so much love as you choose to walk the Path of the Seeker along with me. I'm also including Lune Innates Rebirth Reiki Session by proxy to help with Easter's Energy of Rebirth.
There have been a lot of surprises for me on the Path of the Seeker.
The last one, really understanding what Yeshua's ministry was really about, is perhaps the one that floors me the most...and starting to understand the story of the Garden of Eden in a depth and detail I didin't even think was revelent has been another. Sometimes, along the path I feel like Pandora...I opened up a box filled with a lot of stuff that I wasn't sure I liked but once released there was no going back. Unpacking it for others is a bit difficult. There's been so much information, so much inspiration and so many experiences I can't keep up. The Chakra Surprise When I first read Brenda Davies the 7 Healing Chakras and got to the end where she said to clear the chakras was to be come a Channel...I was a bit horrified. I associated channeling with being in contact with evil beings..that's what the church tells you...so the *LAST* thing I wanted to be was a Channel. I mean, I have no problems with Daryl Anka and Wendy Kennedy who are two amazing channels that have shared a lot of truth. I just didn't want to be one...so, I had to deal with that misunderstanding and fear. Brenda Davies didn't convey the concept in the proper way. Being a Channel doesn't mean you have to 'channel' a being. I discovered that working to clear the chaos and blocks in your chakras helps you Channel more of your pure Divine Essence- whether you call that your Soul or your Higher Self...the words themselves do not matter. Either way you start to develop the five Clairs- the extra sensory perception that everyone talks about as though they are magic powers and some people don't believe to exist. To me, the most important is Clear Seeing..seeing reality for what it really is and the Ancient Truths for what they are...as well as how the misperceptions ('sins') developed. These Clairs are what Yeshua referred to when he said, "He who has hears, let him hear." Clear hearing and clear seeing was required to understand the parables. The Truth Is SO Different From Commonly Held Beliefs Someone once said that when you learn the truth you will be humbled and some might not believe in anything anymore. We've been sold on this big daddy on the sky who does everything for you concept...and that hosts of beings that will do everything for you...but we are here to grow and really we have to do the work ourselves. Those beings will help but only we can undertake the steps neccesary to become spiritually mature. My journey has been a magical one. I never sought power or anything of that nature...I only sought to gain peace and faith. I did not have those when I started out on the path but I can report that I have gained them. I have an unshakeable faith now and profound peace. I know that the majority of the people that I meet do not have that state of mind and that saddens me but there have been a lot of people who are now working toward it...more then ever before! My First Experience With Merkaba The meaning of the Merkaba is probably the most fascinating subject for me...it's a discovery that just sort of fell into my lap. I remember back in 2014 I came across a lot of symbols and ideas that were just flooded into my mind as though I made a psychic connection and the other side of the conversation was sending me a flood of information that I couldn't really sort through. One of those concepts was the Merkaba. I remember asking a person who was trained as a Channel at the Learning Light Center what a Merkaba was...because that weird word had come up in my dreams...and I did research on the subject but couldn't find much. That Channel had no idea. I did find a Merkaba made of minerals. The woman who sold it to me said that the different stones represented the chakras...but she didn't know what it symbolized- other then the name Merkaba. I bought the piece and wondered at it but the meaning escaped me. I had many questions. First, what was the association of the Merkaba with the Path of the Seeker? Second, why would a Merkaba be formed of minerals associated with the 7 chakras? Third, why does the Merkaba look like the Jewish Star and also referred to as a Chariot? The Merkaba Back in 2014 I did discover that the Merkaba and the Star of David symbolized the concept of the union of Heaven and Earth and the term "As above so below." Well, it was while working on Alchemy that I discovered what the Merkaba is...and why it has to be formed and it isn't something we automatically have...it's something we have to 'build.' This information wasn't written out in plain English in a book, as you are reading it now...I have no source that say this blatantly. In Alchemy, like a plant, we learn how to grow spiritually. In fact, in my videos you can see that I settled on the use of a metaphorical garden as a way to describe the alchemical process. When I reached the end of my studies and discovered that the entire purpose is to grow an Etheric Body I was shocked...why would I want to astral travel? I have no interest in that form of escapisim and I don't believe in finding answers 'out there'. Why Do We Have To Create An Etheric Body? Creation isn't complete. We, as souls, are not complete. We contain the pontential of our final form but we start off as little 'soul seeds.' We must grow into being 'the image of God'...and the way our souls were created that growth occurs through incarnations on Earth. I can't exactly remember what source explained that we have to experience the same existential process that AUO (Absolute Unbounded Oneness) experienced when it became AUM (Absolute Unbounded Multiplicity). Yet, that describes perfectly why we have to 'grow' or 'build' our etheric body. We start off by perceiving ourselves...that's a major step on the Path of the Seeker. We don't know ourselves until we step onto the Path of The Seeker and work through all of our subconscious parts...all our repressed aspects. Those repressed aspects of ourselves developed from the experiences that we had over multiple lifetimes and sojurns in Spirit. In fact, there is evidence for the fact that we are undeveloped Souls in the book Journey of Souls by Michael Newton. Most people assume that when we die we become souls that 'know everything' but that's not true at all. Instead, our souls go to a place that is similar to a school. We're part of soul groups that are a bit like study groups. We study so that we can go back into life on Earth and learn our lessons. We develop our unique set of interests and abilities. That doesn't sound like a mature soul...that sounds like a bunch of spiritual children. That's exactly what we are...little balls of light that are seeds...spiritual seeds of light that must grow and 'unfold' intentionally to reach that point where we are in the 'image of the creator.' We are the Yods or Yuds, depending on which interpertation of the Hebrew word you prefer, depicted in the Tarot Card Keys. In the Kabbalah it is said that Adam, because he gave the Light to Malkuth (Kingdom) or Physical Material Reality if you prefer that name, too soon exploded into a bunch of sparks (Yods) that fell to Earth. We are the Yods. You can consider Adam what is created when all of the souls of Humanity are put togehter (oversoul)...we are all a part of the 'body of Adam' - the Spiritual Body of Adam- but we have forgotten that we are One. (This story is told as Sakti who is dismembered and falls to Earth in the Hindu Tales, Osiris in the Egyptian Tales, and the Sacrficed Nummo in the Dogon Tale.) I will touch more upon my insights into the story of Adam and Eve and how it's a correlate to these other tales in a different blog. These are largely due to the work of Laird Scranton who only studies these subjects and corrleates them with PMR which makes him a unique and fascinating source of information. Those balls of light are not the image of God' that we are told that we are in the Bible. They are the potential of the full imageof god...just as AUO was the potential of AUM. We were 'made in the image of God' in Spirit (on a soul level) before our physical bodies were made from the Clay of the Earth. If you're curious about this concept I suggest you watch the videos by John Van Auken of the Edgar Cacye A.R.E. or his books Edgar Cacye on the Revelation or Edgar Cacye on the Kabbalah (which make the most sense if you read the one on Revelation first and then the one on the Kabbalah). Conclusion The Path of the Seeker and the 7 paths described by all traditions are of paramount importance. That Merkaba made of the 7 chakra stones is perfect...it is a perfect expression of the Path of the Spiritual Seeker. Only when we work with the 7 fold path of unfoldment do we create the Merkaba...or the etheral "Chariot," We are growing into becoming the 'image of the Creator' in which we were made. To do this we have been given a series of steps that we can undertake to discover our true essence. That process is beautiful and it's an amazing journey. I can go into so much more depth into this subject but I'm trying to keep this as simple as possible and write this in small chunks so it's easier to process. So, not only does this 7 fold path help you to become a clear channel of the Divine that helps you develop yoru Discernment, but as you walk it you also create a more spiritually substantial body. The ultimate goal is spiritual matuirty...which literally affects us on the soul level...our souls literally grow. That little seed spark sprouts roots, a stalk, leaves and fruit. We already know what the fruit of the Spirit...gentleness, forgiveness, kindness, paitience, hope, long suffering and peace. To gain these traits we have to grow...too many people try to cultivate each of these fruits but the fruit is the end product of the spiritual growth...it's the result and not the path itself. Here is why the resurrection of Yeshua was so important...and why he appeared as a 'body of light' that his followers could not touch at first because it was newly formed. He had created his Etheric Body, his Merkaba, and it was able to interact with others. He proved that the Kabbalah (and Alchemy and the Tarot Card Keys) was true. Once we create the Etheric Body we no longer need to return to the flesh for our lessons. Our lessons are complete...so we no longer need to experience the life and death cycles of the physical bodies. Only those who have developed enough experiences to have a sense of self can withstand the presence of these higher level beings. Experiences equate to spiritual mass...and you have to have a strong selse of self to withstand those who exist in higher dimensions. The Path of the Seeker is one of Self-Discovery and Growth...which is the same experience that AUO had when AUM was created.
This year has been a little different for me in a lot of ways.
One of the things I've done when I have these Dark Nights of the Souls is that I usually work out what I want on some level. I set goals of some sort. Sometimes it's with a vision board. With that foundation under my feet I usually can start attaining goals and gaining traction. Last time I went to see the Medium Robert Brown and the channel Bashar. This year I created a bucket list where I wrote down the things I really wanted to do....visit Sea World that left an intersting impresson on me as a child and go whal watching were the first two. The next was a genetic test which I did do and I'll write a review along with my experience in a future post. Next I placed on the list, "See Peter Woodbury Speak" and "Have A Session With Peter Woodbury," Right after that he announced he was coming to Los Angeles for a workshop and would also do a rare regression session for the entire group. I couldn't miss the opportunity. The experience was a little strange for me in a lot of ways and I'll explain that in a future post as well...sorry to say that so many times here but I want to share what I think is the most exciting. Opportunities to write are rare and I'm running with what I'm most amazed by in the moment. The most interseting aspect for me was Peter Woodbury himself. Also a fan of Carl Jung and open minded he's fascinated me for a bit. On Facebook he is the most active and friendly members. I also wanted to thank him for interperting the dream I had last June. He's made comments on my posts when I was in need and that really impressed me. What struck me most, in person, was Peter's need for Shadow Work...and that his greatest work where he can help the most lies in that area but he's walking in the shadow of his past life regression teacher, Brian Weiss. Weiss has never intersted me because he seems like a one dimensional blissed out guru. He's done good things but I've never bought his books...I did use his online regression session and both Peter and Kim Trottman (whom I went to for a one-on-one past life regression session) were trained by him. So, indirectly he has positively affected my life but as a person- as an individual- he's never impressed me. He's like a tape with one song on it...after a while listening to him is boring. What Surprised Me About Peter's Workshop I realized that Peter has some major Shadow Work that he needs to embrace to find his own unique voice. I have to admit, I was surprised by how painfully honest he was when confessing his shameful Past Lives to a room of strangers. First, Peter told us he had cancelled two trips out to California because of Karma in the area. Second, when he spoke about being regressed by some of his students to the in between lives level he made some interesting statements. First, he thought that the reason all of his guides were in awe of him was because they had mistaken him for Brian Weiss. However, he explained, the 'love fest' was ended when he was shown that he was a pirate. He was very, mournful, about being a pirate...almost ashamed. Now, that is a major shadow aspect. When you have a past life that you can look back on and your ashamed of there is work to be done. Not to mention, everyone knows that pirates who have a good heart are extremely popular- just look at Han Solo or Jack Sparrow. Most people don't like Luke or Will Turner because they are too good...they just aren't relateable (some people have the same issue with Jesus- he was just too perfect to relate to...he's been depicted so archetypically that he doesn't feel real to most people). The difference is as obvious as the Fool Tarot Card versus the Hermit Tarot Card who casts his light from the Mountain Top to guide wayward souls. The Hermit has seen some serious shit folks but he has grown from it to the point where he can guide others. I would befriend the Hermit way before I considered befriending the Fool. With Hermit I may learn something...with the Fool I'm more likely to find trouble. Third, when Peter was talking about having to use a manual microphone instead of the cordless little microphone so popular now, I joked that he had been both a Pirate and Lounge Singer. (In all honesty, I feel a little ashamed of myself as I nodded and talked a bit too much during the entire workshop. I feel as though I was being a bit rude and stealing his thunder but it was my intuition and I went with it...it was already super odd that I was there alone in the first place. He did thank me for 'guiding him' when I thanked him and gave him a hug before lunch. He gives good hugs which also put him up a few notches in my book). Well, he stopped and he admitted that he had been something simlar to a touring Mariachi in Calinfornia and had enjoyed the company of prostitues. I couldn't help but laugh. Again, he had said it as though he was ashamed. Granted, he is a spiritual individual who comes from the most sexually repressive religoius background....Catholocisim. The Catholic Church really screwed things up when they indireclty made sex a sin. Sex is a very necesary part of the human experience. I'm sure it had to do with sociological programming to safeguard their income from the potential of the entire congregation dying of a sexually transmitted disease. Anyways, I just laughed and replied that I ran brothels in the Middle East in a past life, these things happen. Fourth, he mentioned two themes in his paitients. I forget what the other one but one, for sure, was Shadow Work. By coinicidence the woman who was facilitating his individual readings over the course of the next few days, happened to be sitting next to me and I told, "He needs to write a book." Everyone has told Peter this forever and she nodded saying that she's been telling him this and I continued, "He needs to write a book on Shadow Work." She started to agree and then stopped saying, "Oohhhhh!" Apparently, that had never occurred to her or to him. I even thought abotu writing him a letter urging him to write a book on Shadow Work. That he needed to own his shadow...those past lives he was ashamed of...and find the spiritual Gold hidden within them. Past Lives books are a dime a dozen but a book on Shadow Work...well, now, that would help millions of people and his semi-christian audiance are among the ones who need to hear the message the most. My intuition told me not to message him. That on the Spiritual level I would reach out to him and he would get the message. Well, I don't known if that happened or not but you can hear him say in the video below where he was talking to a convention of Empaths, "It turns out I had to accept the shadow." He even talks about Shadow Work where he gestures indicating placeing something in his shadow and saying, "Not me..." That blew my mind. Check this out below because this is a very different interpertation of his past lives then what he shared in Los Angeles and I am so proud of him! My heart sung in joy when I watched this video.
Further more, my mind was blown last month when both Gillian (she runs the Lune Innate ASMR channel that I love) and Blanca on the Emerald Paradigm YouTube Channel talked about Shadow Work and what they felt it meant. To hear a term I coined, that I had never heard before and was uncertain of using because it could invoke a negative connotation in the Christian Groups, was beyond awesome.
Here is the Video:
Then I was reading the emails that Victor Odd sends out and he mentioned Shadow Work along with the statement that that's what all the 'cool kids' were calling it...I was beyond amazed. Then he shared another email with a link to his Website where he talked about the subject with his wife Pattie. Here is a link to the Podcast on Victors Website: https://awakeninghelp.com/shadow-work-what-it-is-how-we-do-it/ Conclusion Shadow Work is very timely right now. To think I used that term, and I was so uncertain of it last May and that it's take root now...it's amazing. You can watch the video below! Yes, it only has 23 official views on YouTube but somehow the idea is out there now and...it's becoming popular. Enough people listened to cause a shift in the collective consciousness. How freaking awesome is that? You can watch the video at the end of this blog. A lot of people don't want to own their shadow. They don't want to admit that they too are flawed. However, that's the only way forward because it's within those 'flawed' aspects of us that we can find our greatest strengths and the sweetest most rare Spiritual Fruits. Compassion and Forgiveness. The two harderst Fruits of the Spirit to gain on a Soul Level. Think of all of us as on a quest to collect certain Rings of Power or Infinity Stones (to borrow from two of my favorite fantasy franchises). Instead of objects, our souls are seeking the Fruits of the Spirit to prove that we have passed the Earth Test. Well, the hardest ones to gain are Compassion and Forgiveness. The only way to understand another person's plight- to not look down at them, to not judge them as inferior or as some sort of entertainment- is to pass through the darkness ourselves. That way, when we admit that we too have known the depths of despair, depravity, and hatred...we experience a deep sense of forgiveness and compassion for others. That way, when someone says in a hesitant voice that they were a Pirate in a past life...you can say, "Ha, awesome story! Those types of lives happen! All of us have ended up in the trenches or in the gutters at some point! Let me tell you about the time that I..." Of course, the difference is that in this life time we've learned what hasn't worked...and we use the times we stumbled to help others who are currently stumbling. Even better...when we do this we offer others...HOPE. So, my humble little YouTube Channel and this humble little blog has created a ripple effect that encourages me. I won't lie folks...I thought about giving up on all of this...of just fading to watch what would happen in the world. Yet, I am witnessing the most beautiful unfoldments and it's because of each and every one of you that stumble upon this blog. I love each of you so much that words can never capture the depth of my humble gratitude for all of the Brave Souls who take up the responsibility of the 7 Fold Path of the Seeker. We are making a difference and that....is truly beautiful. I know this is super late compared to when the actual DVD came out. Yet, I scheduled reablogs all the way up until now...so that's the reason for the delay.
I highly recommend that you pick up the Super Duper Cut of Deadpool 2. The Super Duper Cut was so much better then the theatrical release. I don't know why they edited the theatrical release so much. If it was for time...that was idiotic. No one asked for the time to be shorter in Deadpool 2. There was no reason at all for that to be neccsary. I mean, we're in the age where almost everyone wants to see a two hour movie...because if a movie is crafted well the movie doesn't feel that long. Most notable of the Super Duper Cut is that there is more charecter development of Russel...we are shown what he experiences at the orphanage. That explains why he hates the headmaster so much. In the theatrical release thats all shown in flashbacks when he's in prison..it's very brief and doesn't have the emotional impact. Everything they removed from the movie (aside from the awesome asian bath martial arts scene at the start) contained charecter development. The second scene tha was very impactful was when Deadpool is trying to prove that he's turned around and trying to fit in as an X-Men. There is a scene where Colosuss is trying to figure out why the soap dispenser in the kitchen isn't working..and a running joke about the labels used in the fridge at the Mansion...without the scene these jokes just fall flat. The Super Duper Cut completley changed my opinion of this movie. Finally, there is the Baby Hitler part in the post credit scenes which was funny but probably way too contoversial for the theater. I give the Super Duper Cut of Deadpool 2 a 10/10! I have to share this item with everyone who has a child.
I decided a long while ago that I would make my own baby food. I just don't trust an item that says it has vegetables in it that doesn't have to be refrigerated and lasts a year. There just seems ot be something...unnatural about that and buying the fresh produce to make the baby food is so much cheaper. When I can pay a couple of dollars for yams that make an entire months supply why not? While it has been a bit bumpy finding the time to make the food the worst was trying to package it. Ziplock bags were recommended but I just couldn't get all of the food out of them. Trying to spoon out the mooshy food from the bags- cucumber and melon by the way turn into a really watery substance- was miserable. Thankfully, one of Ross' relatives gave us a bag of these packets! They are amazingly easy to use and I've washed that original set several times without any sign of wear and tear. They are dishwasher safe. On the bottom is a ziplock seal that is really strong and you wash it with both sides open. On the top is a little mouth. You can choose to either screw on the cap or you can opt for caps that can be bought seperately. The caps are amazing! Made for teething my daughter really likes to chew on them. Even better is the option that you can pour some out into a bowl and if the baby really wants to scarf it down...just put on a cap and hand over the packet. My daughter found out pretty quickly how to do the rest. While I don't think that a baby should always eat directly from the packet because it's importnat to introduce utensils early and often...it does come in handy when spoon feeding her is not fast enough or when we are on the go. Plus, the designs are adorable. I love the catepillar, porcupine, cheetah and unicorn. You can buy the packets from Amazon or direclty from the ChooMee Website: |
