By far the most influential book that I read when I first started seeking spiritual truth was Journey of Souls by Michael Newton. To me the idea of going to heaven and it being some lala land of perfection just never felt right. Perhaps, it's because I was born remembering a past life but I always believed in reincarnation....and the idea of the Christian Heaven and Reincarnation just don't fit together.
I love that Michael Newton was a skeptic, that he didn't believe, that he didn't seek to do past life readings like other people. That he stumbled onto life between lives is amazing. He just told someone to go back to when a trauma occurred and they went to a past life...and then he was able to verify the story. That what he cataloged was an apparently the same thing no matter the religious or ethnic background of his patients is also phenomenal. One of the reasons I adore this book is that it completely changes how we view 'life between lives.' We're told we go to happen and live happily ever after...not really what it is or what it is like. Maybe we get a Halo, wings and a harp...but as Mark Twain hilariously depicted that would get boring fast. I credit this book for breaking down the first idea barrier that I had held because of Christian Dogma. The idea that everyone eventually goes to the same place in the after life regardless of their actions...Yes, there was a sort of judgement but it was just a Past Life Review where the soul really decided how they had performed in the life. That to me was mind blowing...how could a murderer be forgiven? The really big questions aren't answered...but the idea that there is no Hell is huge and that there is a definitive after life that we all go to regardless of our religions...was a life changing idea. This book really should be on the shelf of any spiritual seeker. I still pick it up and ready it every now and then. The cases he uses as examples are fascinating. The material is presented in a very scientific fashion and it's really to the point. The ideas, the first time you read it...are so different that it does take a few times of reading the book before it really sinks in and the material just doesn't get old. The book is vibrantly different the anything else out on this subject and I have yet to find a book that even compares (even his sequels fall short of the magic revealed in the first book). I highly recommend Journey of Souls to anyone who is interested in the after life, reincarnation or grieving the loss of a loved one.

I'm including a trailer for Star Trek: Beyond because this trailer captures the essence of this period in our history. I have spoken about how movies can be the reflection of our collective unconscious and that all art is an expression of that essence. This can only happen if we are all connected on a spiritual level (which we are) and it allows for time (movies usually take a couple of years to produce) especially given how a shift in the spirit takes a little while to manifest but those sensitive to it (such as artists) usually perceive it before the general public.
Spirit is always perfect in it's timing. In this trailer, we have Rihanna singing about hitting a wall. When we face an obstacle and we deal with it our paradigm changes. In this movie Kirk's charecter development will obviously be to find his individualization... he has spent so much time trying to be like his father that he has never grown as a personality unique unto himself. There is also a particular line that stands out to me in another trailer, where the alien says that unity is humanities weakness and Kirk replies that, "I believe you are underestimating Humans." I will finish this blog with how all of this reflects our current stage in shifting to a "new epoch," "new age," "New Sun," "Fifth Root Race" or "Fifth world." (We will also explore the origin of these phrases). An Explanation for Parts I have realized that writing about the shift is going to have to be done in stages. First, as I write these blogs they are conscious spirit journeys for me. I am in the process of taking my time with these and really enjoying the subtleties and the journey itself. The story of why we are here and what we are doing is one of the most beautiful things that I have come across. That story is mirrored in so many cultures and shared by so many cultures. Yet, the way that we are teaching the belief systems of these cultures is so limited by the Western Christian Paradigm we could not even see how Universal this story is in ALL cultures. Although, I have not come to perceive this story on my own, but through many sources, and my perception of this story changes as I add more perspectives of the story from different sources. The continuity is undeniable. The ability to perceive the story has come slowly. As I have let go of old belief systems, old paradigms it has become more clear and I can really hear what the stories of old tell us. This is why doing personal work on ourselves- clearing out old negative fear based patterns to make room for the new is so important. As a character in the movie Avatar said, "A cup that is already full will not be filled." I have realized that I can perceive three levels to every dream that I have, every story that I have heard, and every perspective I study. I have listed some of my sources in the previous posts and as in my dream of the Museum, each of those perspectives are a precious insight into the story of the universe and our place in that story. There are a few points that I want to go through before we dive into this subject. This is a great ocean of a topic with many people giving their interpretation of the shift. There are some who have been ahead of the curve seeing the entire perspective such as James Redfield in the early nineties.. Even though I came to this information very young and questioned it for a time and even rejected it because it was SO different from what everyone else seemed to believe I can clearly see now that it is true. The First Step The first step in this journey is to have an open mind. Some call this the journey of the Initiate. Suspend, for a moment as you're reading all of this, those doubts that you might have. Silence the "what ifs", the "buts" or the "maybes" that you have. If it is too foreign to your mind and you feel mental discomfort...stop, this information is not for you. Perhaps just read this as a flight of fancy. Empty your mind of doubt and you might be able to perceive new paradigms. However, I have learned to embrace that cognitive dissonance...and in so doing my mind has been able to perceive things far differently than before. I believe this is the process of "waking up" that people are talking about. Once we think outside of the box...life is very different. The Call of the Ancestors In order to really absorb the information and the picture I'm going to paint in the upcoming blogs there is one important thing that you must believe. That belief is that our ancestors were more than mindless savages with simple minds. That they knew who they were on a spiritual level and their place in the Universe. They knew that they were infinite spiritual beings on an Earthly sojourn. If you are not at least open to that belief the picture I am going to put together for you piece by piece will not makes sense. Negative Fear Based Dramas I want to take a brief moment to touch on negative fear based dramas. There is a growing community of people who are convinced that almost everything that music artists, the movies and all other forms of artwork are Satanic. This group seems to be stuck in the Dark Age myth that any spiritual belief that is not based on the Judaic Patriarchal system is Satanic. To them, a tribe of Native American's performing the rain dance is the summoning of a rain demon. I cannot express the absurdity of this idea and the profane disrespect. If you are one of those who choose to subscribe to the idea that all creativity is demonic I urge you to leave this page and never come back. I strongly believe that our artists are our modern day Shaman's....but Shaman's are not evil, they are the people who are in tune with Spirit, and the divine cosmic creator. They are the ones in touch with humanity's collective unconscious (group soul). Inclusive vs. Exclusive What I do is look for Universal Truths that remain the same in all Religions and All Ancestral Traditions... Think of it as Comparative Religion and Spirituality without a biased scientific teaching perspective. There are startling similarities and a clear story emerges. This inclusive point of view does not leave out Jesus Christ (Yeshua) but acknowledges him and indeed, it was the Bible that first hinted to me that there was more to the story than what was being told and as I learned of the history of the Bible the role Christianity has played in the story of Humanity became clear. The Soul and Reincarnation When reading books about near death experiences and past life regression.there is an overwhelming insistence on why this information is coming out now. This is the time for remembering who we are ( it was necessary that we forget for a time which I will lay out for you). We must remember that we are spiritual beings. That we never die, that our ability to go on living after this life is a fact and not based on our actions while we are on Earth. Everyone goes to the afterlife, the thief, the beggar, the rich and the poor... and we all choose to come back. Without accepting these truths (so foreign to the "Western" way of thinking) the picture I will paint with words in the following posts will not make sense. Reviewing History To tell the story right, as I perceive it right now, I have to start off with a bit of history. I could also say, a retelling of history or a remembering of history. Many of us have heard the scientific version of history but that's the history that we could perceive through a very limited framework that our Western Belief system gave us. We couldn't allow for our ancestors to be intelligent thoughtful beings who know more than we do now (even though we can't build the Great Pyramid with our oh so powerful modern technology- and believe me we have tried). We didn't allow for a soul that could not be proven in an 'empirical' way to exist. A Long Process This shift has been a long process. The shift was first perceived of, as far as I can tell, back in the late 1800's. The idea was limited to a small group of thinkers. Then it really picked up steam in the 1980's with the First Great Gathering of the Native Americans. John Van Auken says in his book 2039 the Great Pyramid Timeline Prophecy, "From Cacye's perspective, the year 1998 was a "milestone" in the journey of our souls. It marked the beginning of a New Age, an age of enlightenment and rapid soul growth. The biblical book of Revelation identifies this age as being a time when "Satan is bound" and lasting roughly 1,000 years." What this is saying then, if you're familiar with Revelations is that we have already gone through the tribulation. There was a lull in the 1990's, (according to my intuition) the mid 2000's and then it really picked up speed recently. So this has been a long slow process. Yes, it started in 1998 as spirit first trickled into the minds of a few people, then somewhere along of the way it became a flood that's hard to deny today as people begin to contemplate the ideas of aliens, spirituality, the soul, etc. My gut feeling as to why so much didn't happen in the 1990's, why 2012 was a let down (to some, most of my sources didn't buy into the big doomsday) is that we were preparing for a day that will never come (Apocalypse). So, because we have been so focused that this Enlightenment can only come after mass destruction... people were not ready. People had to be prepared mentally because the breaking down of a paradigm for people that are not prepared results in psychotic shock...their minds shatter because of the dissonance. We have to release these negative Fear Based Drama's that desire to face a doomsday or apocalypse before we can reach the Golden Age. The fact that 2012 was an ordinary year in many ways just demonstrates that as a whole, on a Group Consciousness level, we chose to experience Enlightenment without facing destruction first. Now, in this span of 2015-2017 we're really seeing the effects. By the 2030's (according to Bashar and the Great Pyramid Timeline according to John Van Auken) we will see major changes and the cycle will have reached completion. Those changes may be reflected by open contact with extra terrestrials, changes politically, and most importantly on an individual conscious level. The 100th Monkey This might throw people for a loop but the process of the shift has already happened and there is no going back. Edgar Cacye's prediction that it started in 1998 should gives us a clue. What we are seeing are the after shocks. The shift is occurring on a mental, emotional and consciousness level (soul/spirit). To explain this I have to explain the 100th monkey phenomenon and I'll include a video. There was a study in Japan where scientists threw sweet potatoes in the dirt. The monkeys would then eat them. Then one day a female monkey realized she could wash the potato and it would taste better. She then taught her friends and the mothers of their group this new trick. Slowly at first, more and more monkeys learned to wash the potato but it remained a small number of monkeys. Then a shift happened. All of the monkeys in the group began to wash their potatoes, even the older ones and then amazingly they found that monkeys on other islands were washing their potatoes. There appeared to be a group consciousness shift in this group of monkeys. Once that group consciousness understood the benefits of washing the potato the species seemed to understand the concept...changing everything for those monkeys experience of the sweet potato. This, is a simplified version of what I believe happened with our own species on a conscious level. The shift we have experienced will change everything for how we perceive the universe and our places within it.
How Do I Know?
This is an important question. I am no one special. I claim no authority. I recommend you question everything. Question every teacher. Seek the truth in all things all of the time. You will know if what I express seems to reflect back to you what you have felt deep down in your heart. These truths, that I have shared with you come from nearly twenty years of seeking Truth. Some call it the path of the initiate. But I have never been initiated formally into anything. I cherish my independence from the trap of Group Think. I have been very blessed with an inquisitive mind, the ability to read and the desire to learn. Where I see the greatest coherence of thought is where I find that Truths are hidden in plain sight. Also, there are plenty of teachers out there, as I have shared with my Sources posts, and by taking time to examine each I have gained a great deal of knowledge. Reflections Life is like a hall of mirrors. We perceive reality from our mind through a filter. That filter is made up of our beliefs so that our reality always reflects back to us what we expect. Much like a self-fulfilling prophecy (psychological term) our mind knows our expectations and seeks to fulfill them. We see reflected back the energy that we put out. If that energy is fear we are going to view everything that is happening in a fearful light. If we let go of fear, realizing that we are multidimensional beings that never die, then we can watch life unfold. If we open our mind to a more universal point of view that too will be reflected back to us. Dreams reflect back to us our inner reality. Art in all of its forms reflects back to us our inner reality. Movies reflect back our inner reality. People reflect back to us our inner reality as well. What we hate in someone is mostly what we hate about ourselves showing us what we need to work on. What we love about another is what we love about ourselves and that teaches us what we need to magnify. This reflecting does not just happen from a personal point of view but as a collective point of view as well. This is why movies, such as Stark Trek: Beyond can reflect back to us what we are under going as a culture at this exact moment in time. The Universe Is Cyclical This is something we will explore in more detail in a future blog as we look at the different cultures and how they expressed this idea. However, it is important to note that all major cultures are aware of this cycle of time. This is why the ancient people and cultures knew that we are going to go through this period...in fact as the adventure started we already knew the process we were going to under go and the value in it so we left clues so that when we woke up we could follow them like bread crumbs. Even Jesus said that the last days of the Piscean Age would be like the first days. Wrap your mind around that paradox. Notice too, that when Jesus referred to the End of Days he was not talking about the end of the World. He spoke about the End of the Age of Pisces and the 4th Epoch. I have cited evidence that in one of the earliest Christian churches ever found was a mosaic for the astrological symbol for the Age of Pisces. Yeshua's original followers knew his role as the "Lord" of the Age of Pisces but it was forgotten in the Domga of the Catholic and more modern Christian Churches. There is No "They" Only US This is important to understand. In Spirit we are all one and we are all connected....always. Therefore, there is nothing beyond us, nothing that is not a part of US. "They" is a projection of Fear that something is out to get us. So when we try to lay blame at some mysterious "They" realize that "They" do not exist. What we resist is what persists. What holds us back is what we believe is serving us in some way. There is no "They" out to get us. There is no "mastermind" behind the perceived "conspiracy." There is no group that has the ear of Satan that's in control of our world and that can control other people. That conspiracy of the fifteen percent or the Banksters or what have you is just a "pattern" that happened organically...people are perceiving it but filtering it through a Negative Drama Filter. I find it sad that when someone says something is going to change the world the first thing most people leap to is a negative scenario. People colluding in the name of "business" has happened in the natural evolution of the thought or idea of a corporation- which, I must point out, is a soulless entity made of a bunch of humans pretending to be soulless. Business is very simple (and heartless) and I will examine this in a future blog called "How Group Think in Business is Destroying Our Planet." I will also examine why working for these soulless beings (corporations) requires the people to be zombies...which is why we are so fascinated with the Zombie Apocalypse scenario in recent years. Yet, you must realize that your compliance with a system or with a group that you do not like is validating that group. You are giving power to that group, to that perception, and until you claim your own responsibility you will always feel as though you're under someone else's heel when you're just limiting your infinite self. We Belong Here In This Time We must acknowledge that we knew what we were getting into in this life, we had a plan, we knew the many twists and turns that this life would take. Michael Newton describes how we select our incarnations in the spirit world with the help of spiritual mentors. We knew the risks and we knew the benefits. We chose to be here in a momentous time in history and that should inspire us. We do not need to do anything specific, there is no pressure, when we were in Spirit we worked all of this out. We must relax and let it unfold. Bashar shares a three step formula often that I can say actually works 100% of the time to create a happier more fulfilling life, "Act on your Highest Passion every moment that you can to the best of your ability, taking it as far as you can until you can take it no farther, with absolutely no insistence on what the outcome must be or how you should get to where you are going." Conclusion Alright, I might have gone a little off topic here or there but these are the items I wanted to explore before we go into the other parts examining "The Shift" and what it means. In short speak, it is the Shift into a new era for humanity on a soul level....that is on a conscious level. What we were learning before has come to completion and so now it is time to start a new experience. Right now we are watching the battle between the mind and the heart. As people choose to be individuals (the way of the heart) over being Groups (the mind and Group Think) the old way of thinking is fighting back. I cannot stress the importance of individualization over Group Think enough. We must own our own personal sovereignty and personal responsibility. We cannot look to others, whether group or institution, and tell them to change...we must change ourselves and in so doing change the world. Many ancient cultures looked forward to this time with a fondness in their heart and great hope. Their are many legends and many prophecies about this transition into a Golden Age. Let this knowledge inspire and uplift you. Music Video Synchronicity Finally, I'm including an unexpected music video journey that I took yesterday. Pink Floyd: Just Another Brick In The Wall Of course, most of us know this truly powerful Pink Floyd song. The video shows how our school system is an indoctrination program that turns us into something less than human and then sends us off to the meat grinder of business. Pink Floyd understood that being just an other cog in the machine killed creativity. My favorite is that the video ends with the phone ringing as though spirit calling us to say, "Wake Up."
Rihanna's Sledgehammer
I don't normally listen to the popular music of the current age or pop music in general. I prefer Rock music which tends to be more of a political slant. However, after watching the Star Trek: Beyond Trailer I decided to watch Rihanna's Sledgehammer music video and was blown away. The video was absolutely beautiful. I was a little entertained watching two videos where Dark Age Christian's claimed the music video is a spell which I found really laughable. Rihanna does look a bit creepy in the video but her face makeup is very similar to the albino looking character in the movie who in the trailer mysteriously says, "I know why we are here, I know why all of us are here!" In this music video we see Rihanna getting in touch with her ancestral heritage, she then starts to awaken to her own spiritual power, her universal spirit as she realizes that she is whole without anyone else, we even see multiple images of her that may suggest multiple timelines or the reflective nature of reality. Then at the end she becomes the Goddess staring at the Enterprise. This is the meeting of Spirit with Technology. We will see how the Goddess facing the Enterprise ties in with the next video so perfectly. The Goddess represents the intuitive Spirit that our Ancestors held. The Enterprise represents a very mechanical view of the universe. As we will find in the story of Humanity that I will be sharing in the next blog we are all Godlings...this doesn't mean we will replace The Creator...but that we were created to be the Creator's companions. Discovering this cosmic heritage and owning this idea is so empowering and so important to this Age of Enlightenment. What I think is so entertaining is that the people claiming that this is some evil spill didn't listen to the actual words of the song. You will understand why I found these lyrics so profound and why they tie in with previous music video by Pink Floyd and the next Music Video by Within Temptation. Here are my favorite lyrics: "Oh the sparrow flies with just the crumbs of loved split, I was bracing for the pain and then I let it go, I gathered all of my strength and found myself whole... You're just another brick and I'm a sledgehammer."
Within Temptation: And We Run
Now this is the music vidoe, and the only one, that I originally intended to end this post. I love this video and this song because it really captures the Shift and when I heard it in 2014, the year where I realized there was a profound change it really drove it home that I was not the only one. Later, I would come to understand, thanks to Bashar, that what happened is that a majority of our population finally held a more positive belief systems than negative. The shift is from a Mechanical way of thinking where we make decisions that are dominated by the mind. This is symbolized by Xzibit being in the chair wired to the "machine" in a very mechanical world. The lead singer of Within Temptation has freed herself and she sends a bird that is a universal symbol for spirit or a messenger of spirit. Remember the sparrow that Rihanna mentioned in Sledgehammer? The machine kills the bird, the messenger of Spirit (Yeshua?) but he "wakes up" to his reality and he escapes to the light (Enlightenment, we will go more into this symbolism later). Notice the wall that he breaks through - which ties in so well with Rihanna's song Sledgehammer. My favorite lyric from the song is: "Your heart is cold because it burns, the desire to leave the mind..." This really captures the idea of a world where the heart, not the mind, is in control. Then there is what Xzibit says, "This is love; I've never loved so much. Get involved make the world stand up. Here my mic before I ever give up Name in lights, you lost all my trust. Now it's time to face all of us." People have been in a zombie like sleep to the machinations of the way the world has been running, with the mind in control and not the heart, logic prevailing over compassion but we are starting to wake up. Do you remember the I Robot scene I shared in a previous post? Will Smith's charecter explains that, "11% was enough (to save the young girl and not him), a human would have known that." I think this is why the Black Lives Matter Movement (although, funded by Soros so it is not completely) is a call to Compassion. True, I do not think it is a universal call to compassion because it is biased and is being manipulated by Soros to cause chaos...but it makes sense that the African American community, the race that was given the element of Water and Emotions to study, would be the ones calling us all back to a more Compassionate Way of living. The Esoteric wisdom of the African Dogon Tribe, for example, and their "Sirius mystery" is just one example of how the ancients knew more than our modern science (I will cover this topic, but if you're curious look it up). The people working for Corporations are going to have to change their behavior and the Government is going to have to change their behavior as well because this heartless pursuit for profit fueled by the Stock Market at all cost must come to an end. The Symphony of Life
In this final Creating Reality blog I want to finish off with Paradigm Shifts. At this point I think it's more than time to switch into the more spiritual aspect of things. In order to really understand how creating reality works and why we bother to create reality we need to look at it from the big picture of the Soul's narrative. This is, you could say, the connecting fabric between these two blog series. I am attempting to build this blog in a way to convey my current focuses. However, instead of just dumping you into the middle of a process that has developed for about twenty years I'm crafting each plate to be easily digestible. The Creating Reality Blogs are just the appetizers. Each soul in this world has a particular unique song. That song joins the chorus of all souls on this planet creating an even more beautiful and complex song. In my own journey I am currently learning to refine my own personal song and to have the courage to sing it. The Paradigm Shift is a very important aspect of this process. My Experience I first learned about Paradigm Shifts in High School. I was coming out of my more religious phase (1994-1996) when I first encountered the idea. We talked about a lot of strange subjects in my Honor's English Class. At that time I was very shy and not very good at participating in group activities. This was just many of the strange but unique spiritual situations I found myself in as a child that prompted me to have a never ending Spiritual Focus in life. A Paradigm Shift is: "A fundamental change in approach or underlying assumptions." More or less, it is an idea or perspective that causes your view of the world around you to shift- to change into something different than it was before. You then begin to approach life in a different way. The First Paradigm Shift My first Paradigm Shift was reading the book Journey of Souls. I found the idea of reincarnation, let alone life in between lives, to be incredibly strange. I had recently delved deep into Christianity, reading the bible from cover to cover and Christian books such as The Case for Christ. The book of Matthew is still my favorite out of the entire bible. I even had several bible quotes on the door of my room when I was a teenager. The strange thing, when I was reading Journey of Souls, is that it did not contradict the bible. In fact, as I read the many case studies I was reminded of passages of the bible...and that was my first Paradigm Shift. Instead of rejecting Reincarnation because hundreds, perhaps thousands, of Christian authorities in the past and current time rejected it I discovered that it actually fit nicely. This is much like those who read or watched Dan Brown's Da Vinci Code. The idea that Jesus family has descendants is one thing entirely to comprehend but to add to it that Jesus might have had children is an entirely other. However, the idea does not contradict the bible in any way but it does contradict thousands of years of religious authority figures teachings. These teachings, when you apply a little research, seem to be based on ideas that existed over a hundred years after the death of Yeshua by people who did not know him. (Not to mention his true Jewish name being lost in time). Shifting Constantly Evaluating our Belief System is a very healthy habit that should be given serious attention. However, I did not include an important part of that idea. When we realize a set of beliefs are negative and produce negative results, we reevaluate it and apply a new belief- then we experience a Paradigm Shift. Usually, when I approach an idea that causes a Paradigm Shift I start off feeling dissonance (mental disharmony). Ideas that challenge my view of life gives me a sort of tingling feeling. Those who have a rigid set of beliefs feel uncomfortable and might turn away from the feeling. However, once I became used to it and learned to enjoy the challenge I discovered something fascinating. These days I seek out that which causes dissonance and my Paradigm is constantly shifting. I'm constantly readjusting or tweaking the way I see this world. I kind of consider it like Doctor Who when he's in the T.A.R.D.I.S. and he's turning dials or pushing levers to 'dial into' the location he wants to go. With each adjustment that I make in my perspective I feel I'm getting closer to the experiences I want to have. The people who don't believe that they can change anything, that they are stuck in a box, that reality happens to them instead of being created by them...probably can't imagine a life of constantly Shifting Paradigms. I feel sorry for those who live in such a world of black and white. Wrong and right. I can no longer imagine what it is like to live in a world without the color of the rainbow...for each perspective I have experienced as I go about this journey seems to have its own tone and color. In The Flow When I was young I read books such as Celestine Prophecy and The Way of The Peaceful Warrior. Both of these authors wrote a story that has the basic set up of the Heroe's Journey (which I will coverlater). Joseph Campbell was the first to tune into the story of the Hero's Journey, realizing that it is the basic set up of any good myth or story. No doubt it was Joseph Campbell's contribution to Star Wars that touched the heart of millions making it a main stay in popular culture. In these cases the author used the methodology of parables that Jesus used to illustrate spiritual concepts and the spiritual journey. Jesus used these because the ideas he taught were so foreign (such a different paradigm) to the ordinary people he had to speak their language. I personally think, as a society, we have graduated from this basic idea. People are initiated and are ready for the openly frank discussion of spiritual concepts. There is an urgent need to put away the secrecy and divulge the information as many have had their spiritual appetite whetted long ago. Now in these stories they would talk about some mysterious thing called the Flow or the Zone. I couldn't comprehend it when I was younger. For the Star Wars people, let's call this The Force. Then I worked at UPS and while loading trailers I experienced 'The Zone' that athletes describe for the first time. There is this moment where the mind and the body act in unison but there is a strange detachment. There is no thinking, no planning, no trying to make something happen...you just do it without really thinking. I would create beautiful seamless walls of packages in that zone without trying. I experience this also when I'm making drinks as a barista, I seem to move with the fluidity of a dancer without a real conscious thought...just instinctively effortlessly creating. I am also in the flow when I'm writing. The conclusion at the end of this blog is one of the moments where mind, body and soul seem to work in unison so that the words simply flow out and onto the computer screen effortlessly without much 'thought' on my part. Constantly shifting paradigms in the flow is my favorite experience at the moment. Life seems to unfold much as a blooming flower does with an over abundance of experiences in tune with my current spiritual focus. If there is a discordant note I know that there is something I need to focus on in my belief system that needs to be tweaked so I may bring that into harmony. Conclusion Life is similar to a symphony. Our belief systems are the musical notes. If we live in a way where there are only a few notes we experience a simple song that is bland and repetitive...often times jarring. When we open our eyes to other ideas, we shift paradigms, we begin to add notes to that symphony and sometimes entire instruments. Then we can start to experience the whole symphony instead of focusing on two notes or a single instrument. As long as we are focused on perfecting an instrument or note we will never experience the entire creation. However, I cannot judge those who choose this focus in their current life as that too is a perfectly worthy experience that will lead to other lives where they can experience the entire song of creation by perfecting their unique part. When we hear a discordant note in the symphony we can seek out the belief system causing the disturbance. We can then research or meditate on it until we reach a paradigm shift (there are always options and choices)...that then change the note to one of harmony. Eventually, we will be able to flow with the music, adjusting it here or there as needed. We aren't necessarily the conductor, but we work with the conductor to create the symphony so that all of us (including the conductor) can share the experience. Once we are working in harmony with the whole our experiences simply flow naturally just as a brook flowing in it's naturally cut channel without any forced conscious direction. Reincarnation
"Elisha has already been here but you did not recongnize him...(he was)...John the Baptist." Matthew 17:12 "All of you shall be here in those days..." Matthew 24 How My Thought Process Evolved I was just like everyone else in school that was brought up in a Christian household when I first crossed the idea of Reincarnation. The classic version that I came across involved coming back as some sort of an animal equivalent to the life that was lead. I found the idea strange and abhorrent. Then I came across a book called Journey of Souls. For various reasons it seemed to reinforce the ideas that I had taken to be true in the bible and really expanded on them. I was always puzzled by passages in the bible that seemed to imply that people would somehow 'come back' again. That seemed to be some weird zombie like experience and defied scientific knowledge. While I am in no way discounting that some people might choose to believe in that I had a hard time doing so given the physical evidence that our bodies decay. As I studied the stories about life in between lives and then, eventually, people who recall their past lives (without regression and with regression) I found the idea even more compelling. The idea that I had found so strange and bizarre before- that people would come back as animals as punishment was removed. There are still some who do believe that but for the most part in stories regarding reincarnation I've found very few that recall past lives as animals. A Too Real Dream I am strange that I do have dreams that seem more of a reality and form more of a memory than actual physical life. Dreams have influenced my thinking process, I am highly imaginative and have very detailed dreams, and there are some that I can remember crystal clear even from childhood. One when I was eighteen years old really stands out. I have told it to multiple people and they say that it was a Past Life. I was male and Middle Eastern. When I was eighteen I was facing a choice similar to that of the Middle Eastern life where I would possibly leave my parents against their wishes. The dream was much like the experiences I would later have with the Past Life Regression sessions. Only, here, I looked in the mirror at myself, knowing it was me and not me at the same, and saw a male middle eastern person who was truly terrified...no doubt because he saw my face (he was high on drugs smoked out of a hookah- a word an object that I would not identify until later on in my adult life). I was then asked by an impartial voice, "Do you want to experience this again?" I chose to rebel against my parents and move out so apparently I did. Experiencing Past Life Regressions I decided to do a Past Life Regression after my daughter passed away. I had always wanted to do one and I had some extra money so I figured I try it. I was scared of the experience because I thought it would be evil or I would be under someone else's power. Society almost seems to teach us to believe in demons (just look at the movie the Exorcist or Poltergeist) and think that's what's talking or something when someone goes into hypnosis or channels. There are still remnants of those strange people who believe in witches and that anything that is "not of the church" is "of the devil." This powerful form of Group Thinking makes it absolutely terrifying to consider anything that might even possibly be witchcraft. After the initial session with someone trained in hypnotherapy I did an online version and got some results as well (although, not as detailed or immersive). (https://youtu.be/xTnAqDPBsoY) Hypnotherapy for the Past Life Regression was nothing like anything on television. There was no part where I was not in control, where I couldn't pull myself out of it, or that I was unaware of what was happening. I would know if I had any gaps in my memory but I was completely aware the entire time. In fact, I was pretty much listening to myself tell the story and even had an illustration. I'm sure it is different for everyone but my recall wasn't real time, like a movie, it was more documentary style. For example, in one of the past lives that I recalled in the session with the actual therapist was a life as a orphan child in Jerusalem during the crusades. The scene opened up with a illustration of a alleyway with ragged fabric tents made out of torn rags and bits of wood. I saw children, that I explained were orphans, running in different directions. When asked why the children were running the camera seemed to zoom out from what I was looking at to a third person point of view. I then saw two men on horses with red crosses on their chests, long shields and helmets that covered their noses gleaming in the sunlight. I sighed saying, "Oh, the crusaders," in a kind of impartial voice. I knew, even as I said those words, that the orphan child that had stayed very still and pretended to be dead as the Crusaders killed all of the other children in cold blood around her did not know that answer. Instead, something else seemed to be telling the story from an outside perspective even though I felt the emotions and the horror from the first person perspective of the girl. Conclusion I in no way say that what I experienced in those sessions are the truth or that I can say that reincarnation is 100% real. I cannot even say that what I experienced rules out the possibility that it was somehow an induced dream. However, I did not feel lead in any way by the person who regressed me. The feeling was too much like a dream for me to rule it out aside from a sense of self that was different from what I normally possess in waking life. However, I gained an immense amount of perspective from the experience. Just as I can say that I did not experience anything that convinced me it wasn't real or couldn't be real. I have not been able to corroborate the information that I have from that past life history, however, I haven't really tried. For some reason, having validation actually creeps me out as I don't think it's too healthy to fixate on the past. Finally, the lives that I experienced in the sessions were not something I would have chosen nor that I would fantasize about. In fact, from the perspective of how we view a desirable life in our society here in the United States none of them were truly 'desirable'. In the case of the last life that I lived, I did not know there was a Jewish Mafia and I've never watched the God Father because I always felt mobster films were abhorrent. Therefore, the details in that life were absolutely not something I would have expected, nor a life where I was 'like a nun but not a nun' during the occupation of Jerusalem by Crusaders (which I have never really studied in detail but there were abbesses). In fact, I've never encountered stories about the Crusaders from any perspective other than that of the Crusaders. The will go over the spiritual perspective I received from the past life regression experiences. |
