(The above is a picture I took from Mt. Wilson).
At this point, hopefully, you've read what I've discovered about the journey of the soul or what Tim Boyd calls the one story and Joseph Campbell called the Hero's Journey. The story of who we are and why we are here has always been hidden in plain sight. We write it over and over again. Only when we deal with all of our emotional baggage that we project on the rest of creation can we really see things for what they are truly. By now you should hopefully have read about my meditation on how the Kingdom of Heaven is not a place but a state of mind. Further, you should have read my meditation on Lucifer/Prometheus/Maui...and how they represent us and the disorganization of perception that occurred in our Minds when we created the Ego as an apparatus to experience the physical world. Now, here is something that really shifted my paradigm again. The Mind Of God As I explained before in the Mind of God blog there is nothing in all of the Cosmos that exists outside of All-That-Is/ Source. You can read this here: http://bridgetkorns.weebly.com/blog/category/mind-of-god. Different sources say there are three aspects of this source. The Unchanging One of which everything is composed, The one that perceived itself and created, and then the material world. The Unchanging One that is the same yesterday, today and tomorrow. This part doesn't experience the material realm...is more like the data that composes reality or the particles that simply exist. The Egyptians call this the Womb or Nieth. This is the part that composes absolutely everything...this is the omnipotent, omniscience and the perfect aspect. In Kabbalah this is called The Kingdom. From that womb of potential one was produced that could perceive itself (I'm in midst of writing what perception means) and it was upon this sense of perception that, according to Kabbalah, light was unleashed so violently that it caused disorder. In Egyptian Mysticism this was Ra who created names for his members and these came into being int he form of the Gods who are int he following of Ra. From these Gods came "the Millions." (1999, Ancient Egyptian Mysticism by John Van Auken). This suggests that God is both latent and active. We can see a hint of this idea in science. In the Double Slit Experiment (which has been proven with the Scientific Method by several groups), light particles act as waves but when observed they become particles and this is why 'god' can be in two states at once...not only does God compose everything that exists but another aspect acts as an organizing principal that creates what we perceive. No Separation We are taught through Dogma that we must all be good little girls or boys in this life in order to gain entry into Heaven or exit Samsara. We believe that we must 'go' somewhere in order to rejoin with God/Source. The 'truth,' we are taught, is out there somewhere beyond our body and beyond us...we need outside information or some spiritual journey to a place to find the answers (astral or physical). This isn't true. If we are composed of All-That-IS and we are in the image of All-That-Is there is nowhere to go because we are always in contact with and a part of Source. We have never and will never be separated from Source. We can only perceive that a boundary exists because we do not experience communication in the form we expect when interacting on the Material Plane of Existence. The communication and the connection is always there. We only think that we are operating independently. We don't have to earn anything. We don't have to go anywhere. We don't have to die to the flesh to know All-That-Is. Since it is merely our state of mind that prevents us from seeing God/All-That-Is...we merely have to expand our consciousness to the point where we realize we are One with God. That we never left and that there is nowhere to go to find our answers. Instead, we know that we are a divine reflection, a copy (or mirror if you prefer) made in the same image of Source and so we have all of the information stored within ourselves. Once we begin exploring what that means we realize that we can experience the At-one-ment here and now. The experience doesn't become something that we only have when we die...it becomes a part of our life in this instant and every instant that we experience thereafter. Spark of the Flame Here is a simple metaphor. This is an old metaphor. You can see it in the worship of Ra in Egypt. In the Zoroastrian eternal flames. The Eternal Flame of the Goddess Smith Bridget. All-That-Is or Source is like the sun...a glowing disc that is warm and gives life freely. Each of us is made in the image of that sun...we each have a tiny little inner sun within us, that we normally call the soul, that is part of that larger ball of fire. That image is a perfect copy of the sun...it has access and contains all of the same potentials and energy of the Source. The flame of a candle is a smaller version of the fire in he hearth...and single flames compose the larger fire. The Source could not and would not destroy itself in any way shape or form so realizing that we are One does not diminish us nor Source. In fact, it makes everything stronger. The problem is most people act as though their souls are the moon. The moon reflects only diminished light back to the Sun. In order to access the knowledge of Source, to clear our little mirror of debris so we reflect back the full light of Source, we must simply Know Ourselves. That can be as complicated a process as you deem necessary. This involves analyzing our beliefs and how we react to our every day situation with the question, "Does this belong to me?" Too often we take on beliefs that are from our society, our parents, our educational system or some religious doctrine that does not genuinely reflect what we know at our core. We can go out and research this information until we are blue in the face...but knowing and believing information is two different things. That which we do not truly believe never really finds a place at the core of our being. After deep introspection it is easy to identify what is truly something you believe in versus what someone else taught you to believe (often at the punishment of destruction if you failed to believe it). Acceptance Of Self We must take that one step further in order to accept Oneness with All-That-Is. We must learn to love ourselves and not fear ourselves. A lot of the suffering I see comes from people rejecting some aspect of themselves. We walk around with what we think are these big dark secrets that if other people knew them or we admitted their existence to ourselves people would surely reject us. Well, not usually, and not if the people who surround you really love you. Love does not see flaws...it only sees beauty. For example, you might be aware of a great big pimple on your nose. Well, if someone really loves you they won't even notice it. The only people who notice and dwell on flaws in others are those who dwell on their own flaws. That's one of the ways you can tell if people are operating on the Level of Love which is of Source or the Level of Judgement which is of the Ego. Everything that is judged not perfect is cast out and denied in the person who cannot accept themselves. We can see that when people dis-own parts of their reality. They are disowning that aspect of themselves. The reality a person perceives is but a reflection of their inner state...it becomes clear they lack self acceptance and usually in the area that they vehemently deny or try to control in other people. If they hate drunks, they don't accept that they might have been intoxicated at one point and disliked how they behaved. If all they talk about is how they hate cheaters, more than likely they were a cheater at some point or are a cheater...unable to accept the truth about themselves they project their un-owned aspect on someone else. When we look at others and we see them as gross, disgusting or hard to stomach...we disown that in our own way we are gross, disgusting and hard to stomach. There is at least one person we have encountered in our lives that have perceived us that way. To deny this is similar to denying our own existence. We cannot always please everyone and always leave the best impression with everyone. We all have bad days, we've all made mistakes and we have all been the 'bad guy' to someone in our life. However, we can choose to relate to someone who is having a bad day...find that place of sympathy and loving kindness that we developed for ourselves and extend it to them. Instead of reacting in fear and anger to someone who is having a bad day...we can show loving kindness and patience. We can only have this loving kindness and patience when we develop them for ourselves first. We must admit to ourselves that we make mistakes, we have bad days, we are not perfect...and only when we have forgiven ourselves can we forgive all that we encounter. We can then extend the peace we carry within to other people. Conclusion To me this was a mind-boggling realization. I knew that it was the inward path that would lead to God/At-One-Ment with All-That-IS but I didn't realize that there never was separation....just the illusion of Separation to give us room to adjust to our own self-perception. As I wrote in my Standing Unashamed Before God post...it takes a lot before we can stand before God unashamed. A big part of that is forgiving ourselves for our seeming lack of self-perfection. Sure, we are not perfect as this world wants us to be but we are Not Of This World. We are of All-That-Is....and this world is but a fading dream. Unless and until we accept and forgive all of our own faults we will never fill that we are worthy to Stand Before Source. We created this world to hide from him what we thought were inadequacies and try to purge them. Yet, there are no inadequacies within us...yes, perhaps we have failed at some point in life but that is how we learn and we are not always what we think is perfect...but we are always what Source perfectly created us to be because we cannot be anything less or more. Who are we to argue with Source about the perfection of creation? Instead, on an individual level we think there is separation. We think we are alone when we are surrounded by God/Source/All-That-Is...we cannot and will never leave the infinite womb of the creator for we are always One. Yet, we focus on the trees never realizing that we never left the forest. We need not die nor go anywhere to experience the Oneness. We simply expand our mind until we perceive all of creation differently. I know some people are saying, "It can't be that easy. You say simply but it's more complicated then that!" The process needs only to be as complicated as you what you think is appropriate. Those who come to this realization earlier then others are no less valuable then those who make themselves jump through hoops. At the same time, we are aware that we are an individual and when we are awake we can choose to work with All-That-Is through the Natural Order because our role within this play of light is obvious. We realize that trying to impose our will on anything in creation is a fruitless venture. That nothing that Source wishes to exist will ever cease exist. That we are not the creator of our own reality but the co-creator willingly riding the tides of life wherever they may take us filled with wonder of the majesty of it all. Forever safe, forever loved and forever treasured by Source there is never anything to fear because not even Death which most people fear most (as Jesus proved) exists. We are eternal beings of pure consciousness that will exist forever and nothing can harm us.

This is the story of our souls.
Who am I? Why am I alive? Where did I come from? Where am I going? What is my purpose? These are some of the most fundamental questions that people have. Each person might have a different answer to these fundamental questions at certain times in their Spiritual Development. A lot of people don't walk down the Spiritual Path. They don't know why they have a Spiritual Practice or desire belief...they just know that it brings enrichment to their life. They don't seek to know God/Source in any way shape or form on the conscious level but they are driven by a desire for Source by their Soul. Many atheists and people who do not believe there is anything beyond this life and our experience in the Cosmos think that belief is the result of indoctrination and a desire for certainty in an uncertain world. Based on my research into the major religions and down different alternative spiritual avenues I just don't see this as the case. Overwhelmingly, there is a sense of loss and a desire to recover what has been lost. I used to view being a Seeker as a hobby. I'm not out for personal gain or any desire to have power over another. I would love to show people new paradigms, to challenge their thinking and help them find Wholeness on a deep level of their being. For some reason, I wasn't born with the separation most people have because I can tune into the Oneness at will. I lost that ability for a time but I've discovered that is all some people hope to attain in this lifetime. I'm also rare in that I don't just study one Religion...I'm not someone who chooses teams religiously or politically. Nor do I dismiss any religion because of personal bias. Every point of view is just as sacred and as justifiable as those that predated them. Sometimes the teachings have been misunderstood, yet, that is part of the system. Yeshua taught parables to the people because he knew they weren't ready or prepared to handle the full truth. The reason you don't cast pearls before swine is because they trample it...they misunderstand it and they distort it. The right people will come to the information when they need it and the right people will understand that information. I'm on the Human Soul Team. That means I came here to serve every one of you. From the lowliest beggar to the most filthy rich man on this planet (who is probably the most spiritual destitute). I don't care the color of your skin, your supposed disabilities, your diseases, your hangups, the way you identify yourself...none of that has ever mattered to me. I have had my own obstacles and stumbling blocks. People have labeled me and treated me as they thought my label warranted. Yet, I am undefinable by the human language. Just as the essence of each of you who are reading this is undefinable. I have sought answers with a dedicated heart through studying every major religion and many alternative sources I feel are just as valid because they carry the same message. The system I have discovered is fluid and dynamic...much like the trickster character in many spiritual faiths. Every time you try to grasp on to some fundamental truth it seems to slip out of your hands or morph just enough. Overwhelmingly, the information you are about to read are from all sources. A good deal of it does come from John Van Auken's work from the Edgar Cacye A.R.E. but a great deal of it came from 'visions' that I have had. Most of these visions happened in dreams as that is my preferred method of communicating with my Higher Self. I will examine those dreams in future blogs but this is the story that has emerged and that has been validated by my research. So not only do I have my individual experience but I hear it echoed or stated plainly throughout many religions or psychic/mediums. Experience A lot of the material that used to come out about Who we are (on a soul level) and Why we are here (as souls) seemed cryptic to me. There were hints and little asides here and there. There was almost a conflict of information. At first, I couldn't make sens of it but with time, practice and intention my mind expanded to understand it. That's the best way to explain it...something clicked and it went from being mumbo jumbo to the same story reiterated time and time again. Sure, this could be some form of projection based on my own bias but often times I'm puzzled and down right delighted when I find other people validating the information I've received/perceived in their own unique way. In a previous blog I stated the purpose that we had come to this world as souls was for the Experience. I didn't know what that experience was or why specifically but I knew that we were here to learn about ourselves. That the soul doesn't care if we have good experiences or bad experiences as long as we are not stagnant. That is what much of life is about...we try something, we fail, we try again...and through the experience of measuring ourselves against obstacles we learn more about ourselves. If the obstacles were to be removed we would never really learn our true depths or the depth of the human experience. The story that has emerged more recently, and from older sources that have been out for a while, is that experience is just a small sliver of the story. The answer, that we came here to have experiences, was from a multi-religious and multi-source perspective. The following is the same...from Ancient Egypt, to the Celts, to the Hopi, from Hindu, to Buddhist, Christian, Muslims, and Sikhisim. You find the same story of the soul. Here is what I can perceive from my limited point of view in this point in time: The Story Of The Soul I've been following threads through different spiritual practices for a long time now. I can say that they run through all of the major religions and spiritual practices. There different emphasis on different parts. Some religions focus on certain a parts of the story but it's universal. I'm not going to give examples where I discovered different portions of it or quote all of the different religions/spiritual practices/teachings in this post. The basic story is the most important and if it resonates with you all the better. That would be exhausting and probably wouldn't convince anyone of anything. Some are from John Van Auken and some from Laird Scranton. I see a tapestry where other people have pointed to threads. You can see all of this as a fantasy tale as well because I can't prove anything. Creation Story The universal story when it comes to the Creation Story is that there was at first a dark ocean. In that dark ocean (often given a feminine quality and described as 'pregnant'). This ocean was the potentiality of creation yet it was unrealized creation. There came the light of self-awareness and self-perception (depicted as a reed in Egyptian hieroglyphics and described as male). Here Source realized that it existed, it was aware of it's dark ocean counterpart and it began to create. In this story we can see the concept of Yin and Yang. This Light of Self-Perception is the active force of Source. (Atman in the Hindu tradition). This is the part that is always active, changing and learning during the process. The Dark Ocean is the non-active part of the Source (Brahman in the Hindu Tradition). This will be the same yesterday, today and tomorrow. This latent part of Source is what composes the entire Cosmos...it consists of the smallest particles that make creation but does not appear to have 'self perception' or 'consciousness' as we know it. Until a consciousness interacts with this part of creation it remains in a neutral state. Creating Companions This is the part where the Active aspect of Creation (Atman) begins to create. Any of the Creative Forces we call Angels were created at this time. Yet, what the Active Aspect of Creation found was that there was a hive mind. All of the Angles were aware of it's thoughts...and acted as he willed...as one mind. These were not truly companions...they were merely extension of the Active part of God's thoughts. As such, Source remained alone. The active part of Source then created souls that had Free Will. These little sparks of life, made in the same form as the Source...that which we call our souls. These had a consciousness and will of their own that did not have to be in accordance with Source. The intention was that with their own will they would choose to develop and be companions of the creator. They would have awareness of themselves...instead of sharing an awareness with Source. This change caused what was perceived by those souls as a Fall from an idyllic condition. Each soul needed to create their own individual personality, much as the active force of Source had done, and their own self-perception. What happened is that when those souls were given free will and individuality they felt that they were unworthy (naked) and they traveled far from Source because they were unable to bear what they had become. Source then created Time and Space which exist at the very outer limits of creation in the outer limits of it's light. Individualization I didn't realize that one of the most important things that Edgar Cacye said was that, "We are to recognize that we are an individual, yet one with God." The best metaphor or story to really understand this concept comes from Star Trek Voyager of all things. In it, the charterer 7 of 9 is taken from the Borg Collective. Yes, I'm saying that when we are in Spirit it's ab it like being in the Borg. We can't really shield our consciousness from others and we share a 'hive mind.' When 7 leaves the Borg she is left disoriented. After she is disconnected from the Hive mind and millions of voices she was used to hearing...she felt alone and abandoned. To discover her own individuality she had to try new things. She had to discover what she did and did not like. She had to develop relationships with other individuals so that she might learn more about herself. She had to develop hobbies and interests so she could discover her talents. At a certain point in our development, during our teenage years, we learn how to disengage and no identify ourselves with our parents. A natural part of this is to rebel and to choose music or interests that are not in alignment with our parents. When the individualization process started with souls this same thing occurred. Separation Being separated from the Active Force of Source is not easy. Over and over you find this theme throughout the different religions and stated by people throughout the world. I feel incomplete. I feel empty. I feel alone. I feel isolated. In fact, in our modern world this feeling of isolation and loss of community is felt more sharply then ever before. We attribute this to technology but it is an ancient feeling. All of us chose to leave the Collective Mind of the Active Force of Source...to experience individualization. We knew the risk was great. We knew that it is a very tough school and that without the loving reassuring presence of Source within our mind that it would be rough. We knew that we could become Entrapped. Many souls, upon being disconnected feel unworthy of seeking God again and wish for self-destruction. Being separated in mind from the presence of Source feels unnatural. This lead to all sorts of dis-ease. People might seek connection through relationships, sexual acts, alcohol, group activities...any way to not feel the pain of that isolation from Source. Yet, we chose the separation. We knew the risks but we knew the rewards as well...to know ourselves as an individual...yet, still One with Source. This is the only way we could be proper companions to Source and form our own individual personalities. Earth is a very fast way of accomplishing individualization because of the Veil of Seperation. This is a risky experiment but our souls. We knew, as souls, we could never leave that Latent part of Source (Brahman). Though we might be disconnected from the Active part of Source (Atman)...we would always be in contact with the Latent Ocean of Potentiality...the waves of particles that form the entire cosmos. We are never ever truly separate from Source. Entrapment A lot of religious belief and Fear has surrounded this part of our experience. With Separation came Fear. When we came to this world we we tried to make our souls solid. We became in love with the physical sensation. We tried to become perfect little human beings in what we thought would be the perfection of ourselves. We forgot that the goal was to know and develop ourselves as individuals to be Companions to God. We became absorbed in trying to create the perfect human life. Again and again, we came back trying to create the most perfect performance of human life ever seen. Drawn again and again to the desire to eat, to go surfing, to be in relationships and scores of human activities through which people find meaning. Sometimes as an Artist, sometimes as the cook.. The pursuit of buying a home, having a children and raising them. All of these are worldly concerns. There is a phrase that resonates throughout Buddhsim, Christianity, and Islam. To be in this world but not of it...I covered this in the last blog. Yet, the meaning is the same. Don't become too in love with the material world. If you do you will be trapped. Destined to return again and again until you realize that the purpose isn't to achieve the perfect human life. In Journey of Souls by Michael Newton a case study covers a soul that would be considered a Ghost. That person was so attached to their physical life they recreated it...until they finally became bored. Then a soul that was trained specifically in retrieving these lost souls asked if he was done and ready continue. This is much how it is for most of us on Earth...we are allowed to return over and over again until we realize the true purpose isn't found on Earth but can only be learned on Earth where we perceive we are separate from Source. Now, in our days, many people are aware of some sort of entrapment. They blame evil alien entities and external forces of Darkness. The Truth is that it is all us...we are entrapping ourselves. Until we get bored of the experience of trying to create the most perfect human existence we will continue to return. Source exists on a level that is beyond good and evil...we just experience duality on this level existence but Source does not. Masters of all sorts and even Angels have come to try and break us of our self-created bonds to the material world where we think that this is all that exists...but only we can set ourselves free. There are several 'how-to' guides written over millennia but each road is as individual as the soul that the Active part of Source created in its image. Some will take hundreds of lives and some a handful. All of it depends on the individual. The part of us that is of the Material Realm- The Ego, the four lower chakras (the four beasts of Revelation) and often represented as a snake...is the part of us that 'knows good and evil' but it not something to be disowned or destroyed. That is the part of our Soul that is individual. Misuse of Willpower Also, a part of becoming a individual is that we have the opportunity to misuse our will power. This was what the Blog Stop Arguing With God was all about...we try to force our will on to others, on to creation, on to our animals...we reshape nature in our own image. Instead of letting the Source flow through us we often work against the Natural Order. We have the option of wanting to create on our own and that which we want to create may not be in alignment with Source. We see this in our world all of the time. People trying to change the Natural Order of this world as though it's not good enough. We call people who have respect for this Natural Order Savages. The result of us reshaping the world in our own image has been the death of countless species. The truth is no Order created by Humanity has ever reached the balanced perfection of Nature. Look at our cities...how it strangles life in so many ways instead of letting it flow. One of the lessons we are learning on Earth along with Individualization is the necessity to submit to the Will of that Latent part of Source. That portion is what organizes all of the cosmos...in a reflexive way that is orderly and balanced. We tend to argue, "I can do it better!" Yet, has that ever proven to be true? How did nuclear power work out? Even fossil fuels didn't quite work out. I've learned by submitting to the Natural Order I see the rhyme and reason behind it all which is completely perfect. The timing is perfect. When I feel a resistance, when things don't seem to arrive when I want them...I realize it is not my time schedule. Then when things do work out...it is absolutely stunning. Until we can go with the flow on Earth, accepting that it is a place of cycles of rebirth and work with Source allowing it to flow through us...our will won't be tamed and we won't be prove that we can work as a team with Source. The Embrace We can operate on the Worldly level all we want. That is the most common path. We are born and forget our Soul-self. That Soul-Self...that spark of the divine that is our Essence is there waiting to be acknowledged. The Worldly self must embrace and learn to work with the Soul self in this life...on Earth. Let's call the Soul-Self the Higher Self. In a Spiritual practice we can become aware of that Higher Self. We can start to work with the language of dreams. We learn lessons and we are given perspective on the current lessons we are going through in our worldly life. Yet, at the point I have reached there has been a blending of the Higher Self with the Earthly-Self. The separation I experienced between the two is now gone. I know the Higher Self to be me and I am bringing more and more of that energy into my own life. The overwhelming sense of peace even in traumatic situations and being a nexus of energy is nothing short of stunning continuing to amaze me at every turn of the path. This was is the result of seeking the Higher Self. The first thing I had to do was learn to trust my Higher Self. When the blending occurs it is like reclaiming a part of yourself and it creates a sense of Wholeness. We might say we are Self-Actualized beings (that we have achieved all of the levels of Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs) but until we reach this state of Wholeness and oneness with our Higher Self...it's not really possible. Still, I think there are even more expansion available as I put my beliefs into work. As I acknowledge each person, as I seem them as part of the Whole, a reflection of myself, a shard of myself...but that is a much deeper blog. I won't say how to do it...but merely to seek for that and you will achieve it in your own way. For me it just developed naturally as a result of Seeking Truth and Source for over twenty years. When working in tune with the Higher Self you are naturally working with Source and doing the will of Source. There are little indications (mostly in dreams and intuitions) when you are walking down an unintended path. Yet, it is a small intuitive feeling or voice that you perceive...not some all encompassing demand. Self-Perception This at the point where a circle seems to be formed. We were pulled from the latent ocean of possibility of Source by the Active self-perceiving part of Source. We were like a reed removed from that ocean (part of a Creation Myth of a few Native American and African tribes). We experienced separation and developed ourselves as individuals. Now, after being caught up in the cycle of rebirth...we realize that we never left the ocean. We were just moved to a different part of the ocean. That by going within we can get in touch with that constant form of Source...with that latent ocean of energy of which we are composed. That we can develop a relationship, learn to understand the language and much like that first act of perception flow with the Natural Order of Source. Our bodies become a vehicle to bring that energy into the life of others on Earth, uplifting them and nourishing them in ways they can't do for themselves in the hope...maybe, just maybe, they will week up and seek the Source of our Strength for themselves. Then we learn that we can perceive that latent part of Source and we can work with it...a sort of dance of perception. The process is similar to what the Active Principal must have perceived as it first came into self-awareness. Now, we have the chance to tap into and have a relationship with a part of Source that...as mere copies of the Active Principal of Source...we were not fully aware. In a way, coming out this far into the 'darkness' we were able to re-create that first act of self-perception. Making us worthy companions to the Active principal of Source. The ultimate destination is to return to Source, retain our individuality, and help Source create in ways that our unique to us...adding to Creation in ways that Source would not if we were not Source's companion. Knowing that through the latent aspect of Source we are all One. Conclusion That's as far as I've gotten. This is imperfect and incomplete. There are little side notes that I could include. There are ideas I could fully explore and detail. I'll do that in further blogs. I just wanted to share the basic story. Whether you think this is the start of a wonderful Fantasy Series or you place the world 'plausible' on it...I hope it motivates you to Seek Source. Of course, this is a linear frame for all of this and it is a bit more fluid and not as direct as I have described for all of us. Yet, this is the basic gist of the situation. Whether you feel your Soul came from an incarnation on Sirius or another dimension...the goal and what can be accomplished very quickly on Earth is the same. From what I have studied all Souls will reach this point of union with Source eventually but not as fast. This is also why I flat out reject the idea of Unity Mind but I've written about that in a past blog. There is no place for "unity mind" to develop in humanity. We have it in Spirit so I really doubt that's the next stage of our development and I'm not sure where that idea came from. I've heard numerous people speak about it but I have yet to find the origin of that idea. I believe that we will start to sense our connection. Perhaps the Fifth Root Race (I've written about that before) which is supposed to appear brighter will happen. I'm not sure, I doubt that if it does happen that it will be dramatic. The process will probably be gradual (as Bashar describes) and in the end doesn't change the experience that much. Probably, it will mean that we will end the cycle of killing each other in the name of anything. I hope that it will lead to peaceful co-habitation where everyone will be free to express themselves in the way they choose as long as it harms no one else physically. (Most mental harm comes from perception and can be healed by a readjustment of perception). To me it's a beautiful story of experience, trial, and victory. All of it takes place within the consciousness of the soul. This is the story I see underlying every major religion and spiritual message ever conveyed to us. From the most cryptic to the most allegorical story...it is written there just below the surface. Whether we are looking at fariy tales like Beauty and the Beast (over coming our beastly natures to reconnect with our Beautiful Soul)...or stories of creation this is the story humanity tells itself over and over again. This is the original Hero Story and each one of us are our own Hero's and Heroines writing and discovering our own plot. Yet it all lay written and waiting for existence within that latent part of Source...so yes, it was foretold, known from the start and will be known at the end. The various threads I have followed and tugged are what compose this tapestry. I will go through and explain those threads over future blogs. You already saw one in my last blog about detachment. Next, I will cover how that idea has been distorted over the years as those who did not quite understand it tried to achieve detachment. If this doesn't resonate with you, that is fine, you are on your own path with your own timing. This is just my truth as it stands right now in this moment. I hope you enjoyed peering through creation from a different set of paradigm goggles! There has been a pattern that I have been seeing in cosmologies that I study recently. I find it really fascinating. This is a thread that I want to share with all of you. FIrst, I'll have to gintoa little bit of a background. We will recover some of the information I've shared before but in a new way. I have always loved this song by Angels of Venice. "Awake inside a Dream." If all the Cosmos is the dream of the Creator this makes a lot of sense. I've covered what awakening might mean. I stumbled across this song in the late ninties- way before "Awakening" became a popular term although Buddhisim has taught the concept of awakening for thousands of years. I think it sets the tone and I will come back to this in the conclusion. This is going to go very deep very fast so hold onto your seat. I hope you can follow here I'm going because while it appears very simple in my mind it becomes complex when I attempt to write it out. So I'm going to lay out the various bread crumbs. As Above So Below, As Within So Without This is a very common saying. Yet, the more I delve into different systems of comsomology I see the reflection of it in many ways. Some say to know God you must first know yourself. This idea is that we are a reflection of the God. In another way of saying it, this is something John Van Auken says, we are all made up of stars. Physics and Scientists confirm this with the idea that everything that composes our bodies once emerged from star in a great explosion. Each of us, as Asaf Braverman states which also reflects this idea, is our own cosmos. God is the outer cosmos that we can perceive but we have an inner cosmos. I'm going to include a video from Beperiod.com and this will help you understand it (although you may wish to go through all of the short videos on Youtube as the video I will be discussing at the end of this blog will make a lot more sense that way). The God Reflection I've explained this before but I'm going to reiterate it...and this one was a big epiphany for me. I see this reflected in all spiritual teachings. There are three aspects of God. The unmanifested God (this is the part of God in which all of the Cosmos exist or the one we would call the sleeper- as the cosmos is it's dream). In Hindu he is called Brahman, the Dogon call him Amma, and in Egypt he was Atum. From the Unmanifest God came "The Word." In Egypt this was called Ra. The Christians concepts of this is "the Logos." This one was capable of perceiving itself. From him came the Seven who created "the millions." Scott Mandelker expresses this best as envisioning a three sided pyramid with a ray of light entering it and emerging as a rainbow (much like the Pink Floyd alblum cover). In Humans we find this exact same pattern. We have a three fold existence- Body, Mind and Spirit (or in the system we will look at today Body, Mind and Heart). We have seven energy centers or chakra's (wheels): Crown, Forehead (third eye), throat, heart, solar plexus, sacral and root. Entanglement Remember when I explained Edgar Cacye's take on why we came into Earthly existence? If you don't, here is a very short version: the little sparks of spirit that we were came down into this world, saw animals and began to push themselves into matter. They became entangled with the experience of being in matter. According to this idea it is this entanglement with matter that keeps us here. When we are in the form of matter there is an illusion of separation from the Source. Now, the interesting thing is that in some of the talks that I've been listening to by Scott Mandelker mentions when talking about the Buddhist concept of Sotapana, or stream entry, is that naming activity is stopped when one reaches detachment. Here is a quote from a worksheet about Sotapana by a Buddhist monk named Thaniassro Bhikku: "The four levels of Awakening are defined by the extent to which they cut the ten fetters by which the mind binds itself to conditioned experience." You can look up this worksheet here: http://www.accesstoinsight.org/lib/study/into_the_stream.html#fetters The fall, then, becomes a story of entanglement with the material reality and the resulting fear/belief that we are separate from Source. While this is impossible and is a false belief it never the less affects the way many view reality and how they perceive themselves. I would even go so far as saying that it was the ability of some souls to perceive themselves as separate from Source that was 'the Fall'. This is what lead to an entire group rebelling and experiencing this sense of disconnection. This Fall isn't a sin. Nor is it entirely bad because I believe it gives our souls a fantastic way to test ourselves in ways that souls that never experience that separation cannot. In fact, it may be an accelerated way to help the Source with it's own sense of self-perception of which each of us are an element. Self- Awareness Laird Scranton described this in one of his Facebook posts that I can't find but I'll do my best to describe it here. First, there were orderly energetic waves in a sort of mother womb (which is identified as the Goddess Neith in the Egyptian cosmology). Second, there was an act of perception that caused these waves to become chaotic. The waves were then reorganized resulting in our physical world. This can be seen as a story of the creation of matter. This is reflected in the bible in Genesis especially if we sub Earth for Cosmos taking into consideration that many interpreters and perhaps the first writers didn't perceive that anything beyond Earth existed 1:1-4: "The (cosmos) was formless and void, and darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God was moving over the surface of the waters. Then God Said, "Let there be light," and there was light. God saw that the light was good; and God separated the light from the darkness." The Different Sources Now, we've established a basic thread that I can perceive in most of the worlds cosmologies. We have looked at the Macro level of this phenomenon. Now let's look at a curious aspect of this that I see in many of these cosmologies on just how that reorganization of those waves occurred. Genesis I think that we are all familiar with Genesis 1:5 "God called the light "day" and the darkness he called "night." And there was evening, and there was morning-- the first day." Then there is Adam's turn to name in Genesis 2:19 "Now the LORD God had formed out of the ground all the wild animals and all the birds in the sky. He brought them to the man to see what he would name." (There is a progression in that last line that might be a hiding in plain sight teaching. I will go deeper into this once I finish my research on the Egyptian Neters.) Egyptian Book of the Dead "Also in the Book of the Dead the 'self created' God is asked, "Who is this?" She answers, "It is Ra who created names for his members and these came into being in the forms of the gods who are in the following of Ra." (John Van Auken, Ancient Egyptian Mystiicism, 1999). (The Egyptian Book of the Dead definitely deserves a more detailed examination. The person who has passed on and that the rights are being performed for are all considered Horus. The Name Horus can be switched out for the name of the person that they are performing the rite for and can be male or female. The important part is the symbolism that Horus represents that I will go into more deeply later on). Hindu/Buddhism This is called Namarupa- Vyakarana. Here is what Wikipedia says in explaining this idea: "Refers to the process of evolution of differentiation into names and forms i.e. to the unfolding of the primal state into the manifest world prior to which unfolding there was nothing that existed. A Video I'm going to attach a video next and then we will examine different parts of it because it is really interesting. All of these different religious systems seem to represent a particular aspect of the the Divine as it came into being "naming it's parts." In this video we hear it occurring on a human level a tutorial about it that is the opposite of what we have seen int he examples above. We see Braverman use examples of it on the human level and use Separation and Naming to bring order to the chaos of the common human perception of existence.
Examination of the Video
Okay, so you watched the video. You might be confused. Don't worry. There is a lot of information packed into this video. I'm going to break it down and examine it. After reading my little examination you can re-watch it and feel free to let me know what you think. Now, first let me explain that Braverman identifies what he calls three minds, which we could also call "centers." These, he says are the Body, the Heart and the Mind. This is much different then what I expressed in a previous post and in the above section titled "Reflection of God." In the Ouspensky quotes the Mind is the "Intellectual Center," the heart is the "Emotional Center" and apparently the "Moving Center" is the body. As God has three aspects so do we and much as God is all three aspects, balancing each to form the Cosmos...We have the same system occurring within ourselves. This is one of the ways that we co-create with the divine. What is interesting is this statement, "The fall was into identification with the moment." This does jive with what John Van Auken says about the fall into the material world. We identify ourselves as the person in the moment, as the emotion that we feel, with the group label we feel best describes us. Yet, we are none of those things and that's one of the reasons our little divine light remains 'trapped' with this obsession with material existence. "Separating our mind from identification through naming." This is an interesting concept. Because if we can name something, as he states in a previous video, it is not us. This is an important step in realizing that we are not the material, we are not the mind, or the body, or the heart...but a divine spark. This is how we become in tune with that aspect of ourselves, the small clear voice that connects us back to the Source and with Unity. "Movements and forms are the language of the Moving Center (body). Ideas and Concepts are the language of the Intellectual Center (mind). Pictures and stories are the language of the Emotional Center (heart)." On an interesting side note a lot of people believe that the seat of the soul is the heart. Hence, why we are in Spirit we see symbols and stories in our dreams. This might be our natural state when we are outside of the body (hence in the spiritual realm, crossed over). "...organs of perception. Harassed to the aim of acquiring self-perception." Now again, this is interesting because as in Laird Scranton's take on the creation of matter there is the suggestion that it was the act of self-perception that disorganized the original waves of the deep. So, here we see the reflection of that story on the every day human level of existence. "Left unattended, however, they each produce random "I''s that lull us back to sleep." Again, here we have the concept of awakening and being asleep. This is explained in an earlier video. That video explains the different "I"'s that arise within each moment. The Hungry I, the I that answers a text message, etc. Each of these is not truly our divine core self...but what Braverman calls "Random "I"'s." The sleep he refers to is not being conscious of the underlying principals we are using to create our reality. "Thus our cosmos is constructed so that the three brains (heart mind and body) that cast it into chaos (when we are asleep) are the same three brains that can restore it back to order." Now, this is really interesting. Here we are finding how this chaos, caused by perception of self, are put into order again. Much like our creation story of matter that Laird Scranton has put together based on the Dogon cosmology. Again, as Within as Without. "Chaos is their natural state. Order comes only with Knowledge and Effort." So here too, we find that perhaps our divine spark or soul are a result of that chaotic stage in matter. Remember how the tree from which Eve ate the fruit was that of Knowledge of Good and Evil. Again, there is the perception of something that did not know chaos (Eve), taking the fruit and eating it (creating a state of chaos as there is a concept of self-perception of being separate from the creator) and through Knowledge and Effort creating an Internal Order. This, again, reflects that primal pattern. "Since we have more control over our Mind (intellectual center) we begin untangling ourselves from the state of identification using the mind." Alright, well here is a reflection of the Buddhist concepts of Fetters that keeps the Spirit infatuated and trapped in matter. Now, we know what both of these systems aim to do is remove this entanglement. They just employ different but similar methods of how to do it. "We achieve this through naming." By naming what we are not we can realize what we are...it's really that simple. We can also start feeling a detachment from what we have named because we no longer identify ourselves with that name. We no longer build our own personal concept of ourselves by identifying with that name. "My identity, normally rooted in the three brains, begins to withdraw. I begin to observe my cosmos as God observes his. My sense of "I" slowly moves to it's rightful place: to the Master....the journey to the Master begins with Separation and Naming." Now, as I said Buddhisim and Hinduisim and this method all are different ways to achieve this state. I used another method that I can't put into words or a particular set of steps to help me achieve this State of Observation. This is something I've only recently achieved in my own life and I sort of stumbled over it. Yet, sense discovering this State of Being I have found validations such as this one. Conclusion While it seems convoluted all the different spiritual practices and methods reach and reflect the same idea. The system can be as simple or complex as we choose. We are a reflection of the outer cosmos and possess our own inner cosmos. The process that we are undergoing is similar to that which God underwent to create the cosmos we can perceive. The reflection of this is in everywhere and in everything. These ideas are hardwired into the very universe that we inhabit because everything is a reflection of that one divine source. Now to connect all of this to the video that I shared at the start....Laird Scranton shared something interesting recently. He explained that the Dogon Houses and the houses he examined in Skara Brae Scotland reflect a Sleeping Goddess. This was before the inversion, where "God" became a singular male God. We know from the Egyptian cosmology that the 7 issued forth from the one that self perceived itself. However, they are called Netters because they all come from the Goddess Neith. The Goddess Neith is the void, she is the one that existed before this self perception within our cosmos. Hence, it is all occuring within the mind of a sleeping Goddess not a God (although, I don't believe that there are male/female perceptions in Spirit). Just a little thought. I hoped you enjoyed this little journey of the spiral. I look forward to sharing more with you in future posts. I will leave off with Godsmacks Awake which is a little bit more angry. |
