I am very intrigued by the Essenes and I trust the Edgat Cacye material. Although John Van Auken is listed as the first author it seems Ruben Miller wrote most of the book because it doesn't sound like the other three books I read by Van Auken.
I was disappointed by this book. I was hoping for more information about the Essenes but most of the book focuses on Jesus. I don't know what I expected but this wasn't it. This is a prevalent issue with Edgar Cacye's work. Since he was and attracted strict Christian's they were seeking answers about Jesus. I have to admit that I did learn a bit about the Essenes. The group credited with 'creating' a setting where the Messiah could be born is fascinating. That said, for the price, there really isn't anything revelatory in this book. There are fascinating bits of information. I don't regret buying it and maybe on a second reading I will find more value but it was not what I expected. For example, many of the people associated with Edgar Cacye A.R.E. were said to be part of the Essenes. Here is what I marked that stood out to me as I read this book. What was most interesting is that Ruben Miller outlined that there were two predominate cycles of incarnations of two soul groups. Those section is located on page 6 of the bookm. One geoup started in Early Atlantis and the second is Late Atlantis. I was startled to discover that the Past Lives I recall fall neatly into the Early Atlantis group. In particular, Palestine during the time of Jesus and the Crusades. I had nothing in common with Group 2. The next interesting part is the definition of prophet Ruben shares because...quite frankly it's clear prophets are channels. "The term prophet is difficult to define but since the noun "prophet" comes from the Hebrew verb nana, meaning to 'bubble up's or 'boil forth' we may use this definition; A prophet is one who enters heightened states of awareness and pours forth words from divine inspiration." Pg 58 Interestingly, tdhe quote from Peter Woodbury's Venture Inward article, "As Above So Below," pops up in this book and I marked it. Now, I read this book months ago so I didn't even realized this until I wrote the Echos of Atlantis Blog and this blog in the same day. "For as thoughts are things, and as their currents run into the experience of individuals, they shape lives and activities so that they become miracles or crimes in experiences of others as they mete them in their associations with their fellow men. For as ye do it unto the least of these, thy brethern, ye do it unto they Maker. Hence these make for those activities in the experience of this entity's soul in which the masses, as well as classes and groups, are to be, will be, influenced... ...Hence know that He is in His holy temple, and that all the earth must hear, must know. For every knee must bow to that love divine, as ye are capable of meteting and measuring through such activities in they experience and they relationships with thy fellow men." pg 116 Honestly, that's all I want to share from this book. For some it may be an interesting and good entry point into the Edgar Cacye material about Yeshua because the one Edgar Cacye talks about is a lot better then the way Jesus is portrayed in popular mainstream Christianity.

I don't like joining groups.
I'll participate from time to time but I hate feeling obligated. I'm a lone wolf introvert. I just don't like group dynamics. I do fantastic and I am a team player (which sometimes means I do all of the work and other people slide by with subpar contributions) but I just really don't like groups of people. I usually come away so drained from being in those types of situations that I am grumpy for days afterward. I was a member of the Learning Light Center but that's pretty much like donating to them and you get a free 15 minute reading and a free 15 minute healing but even better is the discount for their bookstore. That's a good way to dip a toe into the water with those experiences. I haven't been a member in three years though...because my view of psychic readings has drastically changed and I the Reiki by proxy videos Lune Innate is all I really feel I need. How The A.R.E. Is Different The Edgar Cacye A.R.E. is different. First, I don't have to attend anything. Second, I've really benefited from the knowledge they share openly and willingly. There are no secrets or need for confidentiality or any of that nonsense so many esoteric groups usually involve. Third, there is no hierarchy besides the type you'd see in any business. Fourth, they have a really cool magazine. Fifth, they do a lot of charitable stuff and I'm happy to help enable them to do them...from a Summer Camp to providing Prisoners with Spiritual books...the charity side of the A.R.E. is phenomenal. However, while those are all good reasons they are not the primary reason I'm a member. My Two Guides I've always had a Male and female guide. I first met them when I read the book for Brian Froud's Faerie Oracle in the nineties. I was recently reading a journal from that time and had to laugh. Edgar Cacye has always been one of my guides. He's not always around but he shows up when big stuff is going down. I've had a variety of dreams with him in them but I didn't really connect it all until just recently. Back in the nineties I didn't know who Edgar Cacye was or about the Association. I knew nothing about the organization when I worked with Brian Fround's Faerie Oracle. At the time I was a born again Christian and I was reading the bible from cover to cover. My mom was terrified of the supernatural so she had no clue about Edgar Cacye. I had no idea what an Oracle deck was. My mom had bought it at Sams club for me as a 16th birthday present. She thought it was just a book and it had faeries. I was a voracious reader and would read anything. I also collected anything associated with Faeries so she bought me the book figuring it was something I would read. She also buys me books about Angels all of the time. She's a funny woman. She had no idea what she had put into my hands and neither did I! If it had been a Tarot deck I would never have touched it! Either way, I was shocked when the meditation in the book produced results. One of them allowed me to feeling my energetic auric field for the first time. The book activated the chakras, spoke about a tale and wings...and it was the wings that allowed me to feel my energy field. That energy field was huge and took up almost the entire room and I was blown away! The book also explains how to get in touch with Guides and it spoke a little bit about guides. I didn't know anything about that so I decided to give it a try. Shockingly, I had automatic results. Now I have not been able to call on them that way since (maybe I should read the book again come to think of it...I haven't read it since the nineties). I met two guides. There was a man and a dark skinned native American woman with the longest beautiful dark hair I've ever seen. The woman was not forthcoming with a name so I called her Meera. That was a High Priestess character from a story that I was writing at the time. When I asked the name of the man in spirit I was confused. I didn't know anyone named Edgar. I wrote in my journal that there were two syllables for the name but I could only remember the last of Gar...which I adapted to Garrit. Then the last name I wrote was Casement! Looking back on that now I think it's hilarious! Yet, it's also a validation. Edgar usually shows up as an older version with silver hair and piercing blue friendly eyes. He doesn't usually wear glasses. At the time I really didn't see the point in being in touch with the Spirit Guides. They didn't seem to really have anything to say about my teenage struggles so I let that whole thing go and went on as though nothing had happened. How I Learned About The A.R.E. My Dad was given a book before I was born. He thought it was conspiracy theory junk but he kept it for some reason and it ended up on the family book shelf with a set of encyclopedias. When I was a teenager I picked it up and read it. I can't even remember what it said. I think it was a book that had to do with doomsday prophecies but I'm not sure. There was a lot more in it then Edgar's predictions but the name Edgar Cacye stood out and I always remembered it afterward. I thought I had a dream book from the A.R.E. but what I remember doesn't seem to exist. I'd say it's the Mandela Effect but I found one that looks like the one I had and it's by a totally different company. I really loved that dream book and really associated it with Edgar Cacye for some reason. There was a comforting element to it. Back then I would read all of the small print int he books and I read that he A.R.E. encouraged people to reach out to them for more information. That stuck with me for some reason. 2014 In 2014 I entered a Dark Night of the Soul. I've shared this before but what was really interesting is when I went to have my Past Life Reading. Now I was blowing out of the water all of the stuff that I had been raised with by going there. I was going against the grain, against my husbands beliefs, it scared the crap out of my mom and my dad was very much against it. To my surprise no one was waiting for me at the end of my last life. So, after exploring a second life the past life reader instructed me to meet with someone in Spirit. I saw my Guides...Aswana and Edgar Cacye. I even clearly told Kim that Edgar Cacye was my guide. I remember smiling and feeling so warm. I was so happy to be with these two! They turned me into a tree and planted me. At that time I was never really fully in my body energetically. My lower chakras were completely blocked. I had one foot in spirit and one foot on Earth...and literally a few days before I had almost died on the operating table during a surgery to remove my septic gallbladder. Not long after when I was struggling with PTSD I was told in a dream to go to the A.R.E. I started to read John Van Auken's books...things were validated and clicked...and woosh...I was firmly on the Path of the Seeker. Conclusion I don't think that I'm special that Edgar Cacye is one of my guides. I don't know what my connection is to Edgar. I do feel like he's family. I had a close family friend from Kentucky that I considered family when I was younger. People have asked me where I'm from in the South because I somehow picked up that Kentucky accent. I would have been incarnate in my life in Chicago where I was murdered when Cacye was alive so I don't think I was associated with him in his past life. His life as Ra-Ta though is very easy for me to visualize and his Persian life as well that Kevin Todeschi talks about...so maybe I am an associate of some sort. I don't really know. He tends to be a little stern with me but also delighted...more like a fatherly relationship. That's how I would describe my association with him. So maybe in some past life hew as a father figure. I'm not sure, but it's one of those really strange things that I cannot deny. I knew I resonated with the material and I always thought it was so strange I latched onto the A.R.E. like a life line all those years ago in the nineties when I knew nothing about the work that Edgar did. So, that's why the Edgar Cacye A.R.E. will always be very dear to me and I believe the material that they share from the readings. All of it goes really well with what I know intuitively and all the research I have done. I'm beyond grateful for their existence! Thank you, brave soul, for joining me on the Path of the Seeker today. I know there wasn't too much to this one to really affect your life but hopefully it was interesting! I've always found the image of Jesus bleeding, broken and dying on the cross to be disgusting. This central figure of the Catholic Church was just distasteful. How could you worship a being and focus on it's worst moment...never calling to mind the grace, beauty and wonder of the life of Jesus?
He taught so many wonderful things...why focus on this darkest moment? Well, with Catholics it's mostly to amplify the feelings of fear and guilt so that you continue to show up on Sunday and they make money. Yet, there is more to the practice of human and animal sacrifice then the fact that humans can act like beasts in the field in attempt to purify themselves of their spiritual short comings. To quote the movie Dogma, "You do not celebrate your religion, you mourn it." Where did this idea come from? Surely, it was not a natural thing to sacrifice other humans and animals. Now, if you look at most religions you will see that sacrifice- either animal or human- was practiced at some point in the past. In Egypt and in the Jewish religion animals were sacrificed at the temples. Each animal was symbolic of a specific shortcoming of the person sacrificing the animal or to gain a favor or blessing. Both Mayans and Aztecs sacrificed humans and in particular their hearts. In Christianity Jesus is seen as a human sacrifice to his father, God, in order to wipe away the sins of his followers. Only through the fact that his blood was split, they say, are his followers forgiven without having to do anything other then to believe he was the Son of God. Thankfully, today, there are very few groups who follow the practice of human or animal sacrifices. Yet, it begs the question, how did this practice start? Why would anyone believe that the God they believe in requires a living being to die in exchange for being purified or receive a blessing? The Temple Beautiful The Edgar Cacye material provides a really good answer as to how human sacrifice might have started. In most cases it was probably a misinterpretation of a practice that was meant to purify the body that did not involve a physical component of sacrifice. In a prior incarnation Edgar Cacye had been a high priest named Ra Ta in Egypt. This is said to have happened right after the flood. He also traveled the world and taught his purifying techniques to other cultures. According to the Cacye material when human souls first began pushing into matter they took on animal characteristics. The bodies they built for themselves back then were mostly Astral...not as dense as our bodies are now. These beings were stuck in the process of reincarnation already but they retained the qualities of the animals or plants that they were attached to through heir experiences. Instead of having a human body in the image that we have now...they would manifest with hooves, beaks or leaves coming out of their face. These bodies were considered impure or corrupted. Ra Ta set out to make a 'pure' human body. To do this he created two Temples- One was the Temple Beautiful and the other was the Temple of Sacrifice. Here's how John Van Auken describes the sacrifices in his book Ancient Egyptian Mysticism (1999): "The Altars were prepared according to inner guidance. They included sacrificial altars and beautification altars. They did not sacrifice animals, birds, beasts, reptiles or humans on these altars, as some today may think. Upon these altars individuals put their faults and blotted them out with he fires of the Unseen Forces that were set in motion by attunement to the powers of Spirit. When these cleansings were combined with inner guidance to commit oneself to a specific career or service, one could make great leaps forward in freedom from earthiness and limited consciousness. This was only done after the seekers had chosen to give themselves to their services....The program was not reclusive or elitist. Whether one was channeled to work in the sacred services of the altars or in the daily labors of the granary, both were seen equally as divinely manifesting their ultimate potential to Magnify God in life." pg 28 So, you see it was metaphysical sort of sacrifice...not all that different from the concept of Baptisim...that was the start of these sacrifices and it was to cleanse both body and mind. What Happened? We can only guess that as knowledge of these principals fell away that the people who came afterward started associating the actual animals and body parts with the sacrifices. At that time, no doubt, the perfected dense physical body had been created. So, the idea of these astral bodies with animal and plant like appendages just didn't make sense. To make sense of it from the Earthy point of view, then, the ancient oral or written tradition was modified. Whereas, perhaps, Ra Ta would instruct that in order to get rid of the impression of calf hooves a person would have to right the imbalance of greed......it transformed into that in order to atone for that particular failure or 'sin' an actual calf had to be sacrificed. Perhaps, there were written or oral instructions handed down from that time but because the body had become more dense and less astral there were no longer physical echoes of the souls having been in animal like bodies when they first pushed into matter and no memory of that time... and so the most likely interpretation was that a physical sacrifice would bring about both a physical and spiritual purification. Jesus As A Sacrifice Perhaps it seems normal that after a long bloody history of both human and animal sacrifice in human history that a God would descend and his body would be sacrificed as payment for his followers. I can only think that the reason that this explanation for why Jesus died on the cross was born from the same people who believed that sacrificing a goat would cleanse them of sins. The book of Leviticus, after all, in the bible tells in detail how to sacrifice different animals- in particular birds. However, aside from the potential sacrifice of Isaac in the Torah where an Angel stopped it from happening...human sacrifice was never a part of Hebrew tradition. Yet, thanks to the Edgar Cacye material and my own intuition I don't believe that was Jesus intent or the reason for his death on the cross. There is plenty of evidence that this idea, that Jesus physically sacrificed his body so his physical blood would cleanse his followers, is just plain wrong...and disgusting. In the Edgar Cacye material where they explain Jesus' past lives they explain that he was the patriarch Joshua who cleared out the holy land. At one point Joshua brutally executed all of the former kings of the land where Israel would be created by having them hung from trees. Karmically, in exchange for having hung others without remorse in that past life without justification...he too was hung...but on a cross instead of a tree. For me though, the main reason that he did not try to escape persecution and death on the cross was because he had to leave the disciples. As long as the disciples had access to Jesus they didn't try to contact God themselves. They did not try to get in touch with the Holy Ghost (the subconscious) because they could go directly to Jesus in the flesh and ask their answers. They didn't trust themselves to be channels for the Divine. I'm not a huge fan of the Book of John in the Bible (I think the book of Matthew is closer to what truly happened- but that is a bias based on a past life memory of having seen Jesus in Jerusalem in a past life. A past life, I must remind you, where I was stoned to death by the members of that first church formed by Paul the Roman for saying, "That's not what he said!" So, at some point I heard Jesus speak and that's why a lot of the dogmatic interpretations of his words ring false to me.) "But very truly I tell you, it is for your good that I am going away. Unless I go away, the Advocate will not come to you; but if I go, I will send him to you." John 16:7 But the Advocate, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have told you. John 14:26 Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one's life for one's friends. John 15:13 These are Jesus replies to the disciples when they ask why he must die. He does not say that he is dying to wipe away the sins of his followers with his physical blood so they may enter the Kingdom of Heaven. He does not say that his father requires his blood to free the world. He does say that he is laying down his life for his friends so that the Holy Ghost, the advocate, may come to them. Jesus knew as long as he was in the flesh acting as intermediary between his disciples and himself they would have no reason to turn inward, as he had done, and connect with the Divine. Only his absence would be the catalyst for them to take on this personal transformation for themselves. The bit about a blood sacrifice that wiped away the sins of the followers of Jesus without them having to change anything about their own personal psychology was added later by Paul the Roman who thought as Roman's do and who had no regard for Hebrew tradition...although, the animal sacrifices at the Temple might be an explanation for why the ultimate sacrifice of a human body that housed the divine form would have to be be sacrificed for the 'worlds sin'. Paul was not taught the secret teachings directly and there is no references that the Apostles ever taught him the secret teachings of Jesus. In fact, we lose all track of the disciples as soon as Jesus is dead. Who knew what the disciples taught or what they did really? After Jesus's death the New Testament is all about Paul the Roman and his interpretations as well as guidance to the newly formed churches. So, he just projected what he knew from his own religion on to the new religion that was formed after Jesus died...with no regard for the Hebrew teachings that Jesus revered. Conclusion Animal and human sacrifices were never required to return to Source. More then likely it was a misinterpretation of ancient knowledge. With the story of Ra Ta we have one source for this idea that is more then likely, if it is true, the cause of most of the practices of human and animal sacrifice. The processes once used to purify the bodies of partly astral beings were misinterpreted and then a complex system of sacrifice arose. The part of humans having mostly astral bodies to start off with is corroborated by the Channel Bashar in a context that had nothing to do with the Edgar Cacye story. So there is more then one source that hints at this idea. The main part about sacrifices that always failed to hit the mark, as far as I'm concerned, is that it never required that the person performing the sacrifice change in any way.. As long as they sacrificed something outside of themselves- even Jesus- they have absolutely no reason to look within. They can just go to a Temple or Church and preform the correct rite...then go right back out to sinning again...and in a cycle of returning to the church always be forgiven. This is the sort of illogical hypocritical nonsense that gave rise to atheism. The fact a person never had to change their behavior is why sacrifices never worked. If you truly desire transformation it is not an outer physical sacrifice that must be met. The sacrifice has to be made within the Interior Temple and it is not a physical body part that is required. The sacrifice that is required is the attachment to the material world. Just the attachment...it does not require that you get rid of what you are attached to but that you let go of the importance that you place on that physical item in your life. Really, it'st he sacrifice of your Shadow and this involves Shadow work. There is no pain when you give up your Psychological Shadow...there is a great deal of relief. The Shadow and the Ego cause more pain and suffering then anything else in this world. Both are the product of attachment to the physical world and physical outcomes. To me, when looking at religions without bias, the role of sacrifice and how it became distorted is obvious and clear. With the history of Ra Ta we have a precedence of where the idea came from and how it's been misapplied by the generations of priests that came after that time. They didn't know or understand the origin so they interpreted it the best that they could. So, it was not a great conspiracy. Just a lack of understanding on the part of all of those involved and a bit of an obsession with death. There is a curious thread that I have discovered through many religions and faiths. I will meditate further on certain concepts related to this thread in future blogs. I know that I am not done with this subject but I want this to be the foundational blog where you can trace the idea through the many religions with me.
There are many people who do not believe they are of this World. They look at the suffering, the greed and the wanton destruction of other human beings in horror. They denounce their responsibility and their connection this world in a number of ways. Some believe their souls originate from other universes or dimensions. Some believe our species was created by another species (Annunaki) and that the human body is imperfect (Lloyd Pye gave interesting persuasive lectures on the subject). Others believe because they are born of God (even those who might believe they have extraterrestrial souls would be the same) they are not of this world. Yet, we are here. Why? When I see "N.O.W." representing "Not of this world" on the window of a big raised truck with ultra expensive accessories such as after market wheels, rims, exhausts and other performance parts. I have to smile at the apparent contradiction. Perhaps, that person is merely denying their relationship and renouncing the rest of humanity but he certainly hasn't turned his back on the material aspect of this world. This idea might go back to very ancient times. I'm going to go through all of the different schools of thought and religious ideas that express what I feel is the purpose behind this...the in depth meaning of being Not Of This World. Join me on pulling this very interesting thread... Tribal Traditions of America Sacrifice is a very important part of Native American cultures in both the North and South. The Maya sacrificed people and blood believing that it would appease their God's. In many tribes they offer a different sacrifice. Often, when they are working with the Spirits of the North, South, East and West they offer physical items that are of great value. Tobacco and corn meal are two most common. There is a commonality between tobacco and corn meal. These two items are the result of work in the field. This is often grown by the tribes and required a lot of personal toil. Anyone who has grown a garden knows the time, patience and effort that it requires. In that way it is something that is of a lot of value to the individual being the material product of their effort. Watching each plant wither or grow to abundance is a matter of pride. To offer those to the spirits is to give up one of the most valuable possessions that we are attached to in this world. This shows a great deal of humility and sacrifice of self. This is a show of giving something the individual is very attached to up to The Great Spirit/God. Hindu In the Bhagavadgita, an important Hindu text, attachment is a central theme in the story of a warrior. Here is an excerpt from a really good article on the subject by Jayaram V (http://www.hinduwebsite.com/attachment.asp): "Desire is the cause. Attachment is the result. Once attachment is formed it keeps the desire alive by inflaming it. Thus desire and attachment create a complete circle in which beings become caught and experience a wide range of emotions." (The source of the image of the Ouroboros perhaps?) I recommend reading the entire article but here is one little other excerpt that pertains to this little thread of information I've traced through all religions and practices. "Attachments have great significance in spiritual life. The first few lessons that you will learn in spiritual life is about how you have grown fond of this world, how much the world has grown on you, and how you can cut those bonds so you can feel comfortable with yourself and your aloneness." Judaisim In Judaisim we find that animals and bread (grain) were offered to God in the Temple. Both were offered within the tabernacle. The offering of the lamb, for example, was very important. For most people their livestock were their livelihood. Lambs were not only used for meat but for their wool from which clothes could be made. There are charities today trying to give Goat's to the poor in Africa because that goat with it's milk they can drink and from which they can make cheese can be a life changing difference. Wealthy used to be measured by the amount of live stock a person owned. In Judaisim there were assignments to each type of animal that could be sacrificed based on the Sin that the person wanted to release. Birds were for minor sins...and lambs for major sins. Sins occurred any time the individual broke Sacred Law. Whether that was lusting after someone's wife all the way to murder. To atone for their sin the person in the community would travel to the temple, either bring their own animal or pay the people selling sacrificial animals. They would then take it to the Levites to sacrifice on the Altar within the Temple for them. Their sin was transferred to the animal leaving them pure. Again, we see the individual sacrificing that which they are most attached. Buddhism Here is where I had my aha moment with this thread of information. In Buddhisim there is a clear emphasis on Detachment of the worldly. The belief is that all of the stuff that we are attached to in this world keeps us within Samsara- the cycle of reincarnation. Attachments are the source of all of Addictions. These attachments arise from the sense of groundlessness we have in a perishable experience. To feel solid and real people attach themselves to certain things such as food, drugs, alcohol, social situations, sex, etc. Detaching with the wonder of this world doesn't mean you cannot appreciate it...it just means that you let it go. You realize that it's a temporary moment in the overall experience of your imperishable soul. What causes us to return to the world is our desire for our material attachments. By practicing detachment and not being attached to the material world, eventually, you will not return to Earth. We can appreciate being here, in the moment, appreciating the different activities but we won't have any desire to return to those attachments. Christianity We find a similar idea to detachment in Christianity. Jesus says to his followers in John 17:14-16 "I have given them your word, and the world has hated them because they are not of the world." When we look at this it's easy to think this is said because Jesus is from God. Yet, that presents a contradiction. He says that we are all the Sons and Daughters of God. Therefore, all of us are not of this world. When we think of a worldly person what do we think? If you type the phrase Worldly Person into Google this is what you get: 1. Of relating to, or devoted to the material world especially in contrast to spiritual concerns. 2. Experienced in human affairs. This gives us the answer to our question of what Jesus meant. He is saying that he and his followers are not attached to the material world. They are not someone devoted to material affairs. For his day and time this was very different from most people. Most people were concerned with the human idea of worldly success. Even now we have people associating themselves with the idea that, "He with the most toys or fortune is the winner. " Naturally, anyone who was saying different would be seen as an enemy that needed to be blotted out. There are many times when Jesus tells his followers not to be worried about material affairs. In Matthew Jesus tells the disciples not to worry about food because God provides birds with food. He then tells them not to worry about clothes, either, because God provides. Muslims In a recent talk at the Philosophical society Azam Nizamuddin talked about the Jihad- al-Nafs. He explains that in one of Rumi's (a Muslim mystic) books there is a story where the soldiers came back from a battle. He told them, "Now that you are back from the lesser jihad it is time that you focus on the greater jihad." Nizamuddin then explains that 'the greater Jihad' is the battle against 'the self.' The Jihad- al-Nafs is the struggle against the soul. (We see a similar idea in Judaisim with the character of Jacob who struggles against an Angel...and indeed the name Israel means 'he who struggles with God'). Here, in Azam Nizamuddin's presentation is where we find a statement that is very similar to the Buddhist concept of Detachment: "Man has three enemies, the world, the devil, and the soul. Be on guard against he world through renunciation, against the devil by disobeying him, and against he soul by abandoning desire." In light of the Hindu passage above, we know that Desire is what leads to attachment on a Soul Level. The teachings of Islam are in agreement, then, with this idea that in order to Not Be Of This World ending the circle of desire and attachment is a vital spiritual goal. Edgar Cacye Now the next one comes from the Edgar Cayce material. Which has helped me to look at different religions and ideas from a non-dogmatic and unifying perspective. This was never offered in any books I read on the subject but comes from my own interpretation of the readings. First, lets state that if there is an Atlantis it predates all of the religions we currently know. There is a curious bit of information that Edgar Cacye imparted when he was talking about the Atlantian and post Atlantian phase. Many people believe that the end of Pisces is the end of this Atlantian period of human history. The idea, many believe, is that we have been dealing with the fall out from what happened in Atlantis. In the time of Atlantis and immediately after human souls had pushed their way into the material world. A new body, or root race, was born in Atlantis because it was seen as wrong to push themselves into the bodies of plants and animals uninvited. These new forms in Atlantis, however, when the people chose to incarnate into them were flawed. The people, because their soul influenced the process, carried over attributes related to the experiences they had become attached to as animals or floral/fauna. Casey said that people would still have tails or eagle eyes, leaves, flowers or fur. The attachment to the experience of the material world is what had caused the souls to remain on Earth and return. A very complex purification ceremony was developed to help heal these people of what looked like deformities in their new bodies. This was a central part of what Cacye said the Priest Ra-Ta did in Egypt. I include this to argue that the idea of detachment from the material world experience may predate all religions. This universal expression might come from an ancient school of thought that has permeated humanity from the first souls experience in the material world. Nuns/Monks In all faiths you find people who separate them from all others. They live a life of isolation where they have taken vows against having material wealth, sex, and on other subjects. In all ways, they are renouncing their 'worldly' nature. These are usually seen as the most devout and the most seeking of their faiths. Whether it's a Catholic Priest, an Indian Guru or Buddhist Monk the practices are usually the same. Isn't this odd that all of them renounce and remove themselves worldly/material interests? I think the need for detachment from the worldly is plainly a key component in all of the most religious members of every religious and spiritual school of thought. I don't think this is a coincidence. Conclusion This post has weighed heavy on my mind. I have been very excited about writing it for some time. I believe if we start to look for the commonalities between religions...that they might all have their source in the very same story...perhaps this world will be a better place. Source has no attachment to names. Most of humanity is tired of Wars using those names as justification. I will post the story of the soul, as I see it, based on all of the threads that I have pulled through the various religions in my next post. Unlike in this post and the post I will be writing on Snake Symbolism (another uniting symbol/teaching) I will not write that story quoting the different religious and spiritual schools of thought. What I want to emphasize here, in this post, is the idea that souls were seduced into this material reality. They weren't native to it which is why so many might feel they are Not Of This World. Yet, the key teaching in all of the worlds teachings and spiritual teachings it to remove ourselves from this world is to release our attachments that keep us here. That is why when I see some guy in a lifted truck with Not Of This World on his big fat gas guzzling look at me vehicle...I smile and laugh. The teaching is lost when you try to say it only applies to a small group. This teaching of what keeps us tethered to the material world so we do not return to Source is our attachment to the experiences here. We find it in all of the ancient traditions starting with sacrifices of our most valuable worldly possessions to Spirit and God. Then we find it move from a physical offering to a mental lesson and practice...because the physical offering was a misunderstanding of the concept. To me this is one of the most important teachings. To some, it might be confusing. I will go into depth on how I have let go of my attachments in a future post. I just wanted to start off with this foundation concept so I can refer people back to it in future blogs on how I achieved that detachment and how that is purifying. A Note on Comparative Religions When I write pieces like this it often makes me think about the conclusions most people reach after taking a Comparative Religions course. Most reach the conclusion, through that study that religion is all farce. That they are all based on the same worship of the same nature spirits. Why is it that I look at these same religions, see commonalities, and come to a different conclusion? What is different about my thinking? To me, this occurs because the adherents of the Comparative Religions Studies take a pseudo-scientific approach of anthropology. They look at the people who practice these religions but they remain on the outside. They do not dare to think like them...they remain in what they consider a detached bias state. However, by assuming that no religion is the 'right way' they introduce a natural bias against all religious and spiritual practices. They fail to grasp the importance of the core teachings and to see the relevant importance of the commonalities. They become distracted by all of the side teachings that aren't really focused on teaching people how to live happier more fulfilled lives. This is why I come to a different conclusion. I come to each school of thought, try it on like a hat and see the similarities...from that perspective I can penetrate that school of spiritual thinking to the core principals and compare those instead of being side tracked by ritual or dogma. I picked up Spiritual Breakthrough a Handbook to God Consciousness by John Van Auken on a whim. I have never desired to follow any handbook in order to reach God Consciousness. However, I was curious to see what such a thing might say. I was very happy with my purchase. The book is available through Amazon.com.
People cannot expect an immediate result from reading this book. The meditation techniques provided take practice and dedication over a considerable period of time and John Van Auken makes this clear throughout the book. I do not recommend that people pick up this book solely for that purpose. There is a lot of information in this book that is simply helpful to understand and sums up perfectly what I have discovered in my own personal journey although I often did not comprehend it. This book is a guide through the different levels of 'consciousness.' I really recommend buying and reading the book to get the bigger perspective. One of my favorite parts was in Chapter One in a section titled "The Collective": "Genesis begins, "In the begining God (Elohiym pronounced "Aloheme") created the heavens and the earth." The Hebrew word "Elohiym" is a plural noun for "deity." The use of the plural form reflects the collective wholeistic nature of God. When Elohiym speak "they're" refer to themselves in the plural, such as: "Let us make him in our image, according to our likeness." Thus, Elohiym is not a singular, supreme entity separate from the creation. God is the Collective, composed of the created ones while at the same time their source. We actually contribute to the composition of God. That is not to say that we compose all of God's being, but simply to say that a portion of God's being is us. As Jesus explained to Philip, "He who has seen me has seen the father; how can you say, "Show us the Father? Do you not believe that I am in the Father and the Father in me? The words that I say to you I do not speak on my own authority; but the Father who dwells in me does his works. Believe me that I am in the Father and the Father in me; or else believe me for the sake of the works themselves." Pg 4, Chapter One, Spiritual Breakthrough. That quote from the bible is John 14:10. John Van Auken has a way of making sense of the bible and what Edgar Cacye taught. He ties all of the information he provides to the biblical sources as well as Eastern ideas such as Kundalini. He explains that when Adam fell so did the serpent and the serpent represents Kundalini. Kundalini is a way of describing life force. I will cover that topic when finally start working on my posts about Serpents. Another of my favorite parts is when he explains what dawned on me not too long ago. I had never seen it anywhere else but it was a huge validation for me: "It is also a fundamental concept that the mind is temporarily divided into three parts: the conscious, subconscious and super conscious. These three parts may be thought of as three distinct planes of consciousness, or dimensions. The parts should be integrated, leading to full birthing of the true self. The true self is fragmented, living in the three distinct levels of consciousness...on the physical level we must allow more of the soul and spirit come through." Chapter 4 pg 75 He also provides a Map of Consciousness. He breaks it down as "The Three Bodies" The Three Minds The 3 Beings Spirit Super Conscious "god" Soul Subconscious Individuality Physical Conscious Personality This helpful little chart really puts it into perspective. Most people are operating on a Physical, Conscious, Personality level. I have discovered a great deal of Buddhist teachings are meant to dissolve the personality. By letting go of the desire for a personality you can experience more of your individuality while sensing that you are a part of a whole...so this is right in tune with what I usually perceive. A personality has to pick a side, they have to choose black or white and what baseball team to root for...this is a solid description of ourselves to which we cling. An individuality retains a certain flavor but isn't so "solid." There is less rigidity and harmony. I will cover this a little bit more when I review Pema Chodron's book, "When Everything Falls Apart. Heart Advice For Difficult Times." Finally, there is this in Chapter 4 page 116 Titled There Are Two Aspects to the Godhead: "One is the Universal Consciousness which includes the Communion of Saints, the Akashic records, the personal Father-God, and all life in activity. The other is the vast Infinite One, unmoved, from out of which all else has found expression..." Again, I have had this same impression of the Godhead in my own spiritual journeys and visions. I had no idea about this previously. The infinite one would be along the lines of Brahman in the Hindu cosmology. I highly recommend Spiritual Breakthrough Handbook to God Consciousness to anyone who is on a Spiritual Path. The book contains information that I have found at the core of every religion and have validated in my own Spiritual Experiences. John Van Auken explains these complex ideas in a very simple and easy to understand manner. While it is no guarantee and the techniques are not for everyone I love how John Van Auken describes the experience of God Consciousness as an expansion of oneself. Instead of seeking different dimensions or traveling somewhere you are simply taught to open up to a more expanded version of yourself. He encourages the Seeker to go directly to Source which I think is very important.
I have experienced a weird series of synchronistic bits of information and I decided since it is a timely subject to do a little bonus blog.
In The Sky Right Now Right now, from sun down to about 8pm if you go outside and you look to the west you will see two bright red stars and one that is a bit white in the night sky forming a triangle. Now, this intrigued me, I knew two of those were probably planets and one was Mars because of the red color. I had no idea what a second red star would be, however. Where I live with all of the light pollution it's very rare for me to notice any Star figures in the sky besides Orion's belt (my favorite and the most identifiable set of stars in a light polluted sky). I downloaded an app for my cellphone called Sky Map. I took my phone outside and held up the screen to the section of the sky and was shocked. The three stars forming the triangle are Saturn (the whitish star with the naked eye), Mars to the left and a star called Antares. Antares, it turns out, is called the Heart of the Scorpion as it lies in the astrological sign Scorpio. Further, Antares is also known as the Rival of Mars. Also, it's the 16th Brightest Star in the sky. I aimed my little phone upward a little bit more and I was shocked. Ophiuchus was just above Scorpio. The two planets, Saturn and Mars, were traveling right between these two constellations. I thought about that name, I've heard it a lot within the last month. I had just read an article about 13 astrological signs because the tilt of the Earth has changed since the Sumerians first picked out the 12 signs of the zodiac. Further, I had heard of it somewhere else... I was shocked when I realized it was in Graham Hancock's Magician's of the God's. Not only was I looking up into the heavens that a pillar at Gobekil Tepe showed...but I was also looking in the general vicinity of the Galactic Center of the Milky Way. For me, in my light polluted sky, I was amazed. Now, I could look up every evening and know where the heart of our galaxy lies! How fun! Again, and again through different areas of interest I found my attention being drawn to Scorpio and Ophiuchus. So let's explore what I've come across. The 13th Sign of the Zodiac Everyone knows what their Zodiac symbol is but NASA came out in what appears to be a page for children on January 13th of this year (2016) and decided to tell everyone that the Zodiac has shifted and that there are now 13 astrological signs. Why someone at NASA thought they should come out and make an authoritative statement about the Zodiac, I'm not sure. There are so many claiming a conspiracy at NASA at first I did not believe it until I found the article :(http://spaceplace.nasa.gov/starfinder2/en/). Apparently, in 2012 there were people who were talking about this subject. So it's not really new. The article gives credit to the Babylonian's saying that originally they noted that there were 13 zodiac signs but elected to leave one out. They did so in favor of having a constellation assigned to each of their 12 Lunar months. However, because the earth's axis has wobbled and the pole now points in a different direction the entire zodiac has shifted. So, according to the website Spirit Science here is the zodiac as we see it now: (http://thespiritscience.net/) Capriconr: Jan 20 - Feb 16 Aquarius: Feb 16th- March 11 Pisces: March 11- April 18 Aries: April 18- May 13th Taurus: May 13- June 21 Gemini: June 21- July 20 Cancer: July 20- Aug 10 Leo: Aug 10- Sept. 16 Virgo: Sept 16 - Oct 30 Libra: Oct 30 - Nov 23 Scorpio: Nov 23 - 29 Ophiuchus: Nov 29 - Dec 17 Sagittarius: Dec 17- Jan 20 Clearly, as you can see Ophiuchus is the added constellation. Gobekli Tepe I read the articles by Spirit Science and NASA the day after I had held up my phone to view Saturn and Mars pass between Ophiuchus and Scorpio. I was stunned, there was that strange familiar constellation. Where had it heard it before? I have mentioned this before but there is a pillar at Gobekli Tepe, pillar 43, that might depict a specific alignment between the pillar and a portion of the heavens. Paul Burley submitted an article to Graham Hancocks website on the phenomenon. Basically, the pillar represents an eighty year window between 1960-2040. On December 21st the sun rests on the outstretched wing of the bird depicted in the pillar which is also in alignment with the galactic center. Yes, I know this is awfully reminiscent of 2012. As a matter of fact when reviewing all of this information about Ophiuchus and Scoprio that date showed up often. 2012 represents what might have been the central point of that 80 year period between the Age of Pisces and the Age of Aquarius. In the pillar depiction is a series of three vultures, or birds, snakes and the scorpion. The birds, one a chick, one with wings outstretched and one depicted with a snake all coincide with shapes of the constellations in the area of the heavens where I was looking last night. This is all per Graham Hancock's Book Magicians of the Gods (pgs 321-323) The scorpion coincides with Scorpio but it's actually a small part of the constellation we know. The vulture with the outstretched wings coincides withe Saggitarius. The Vulture chick coincides with the head and claws of what we consider Scorpio today. Antares would actually be in this constellation. The bird with the snake coincides with Ophiuchus. An Pyramid Alignment I stumbled across this just today when watching a video on Ra-Ta, the Egypitian incarnation of Edgar Cacye. I didn't think the lecture I was watching on Youtube would have anything to do with this area in the sky. I will attach the video to the end of this post. Yet, strangely enough, this area depicting Ophiuchus and Scorpio is indicated during the time that Edgar Cacye says the Pyramid was built. There have been several authors (including Graham Hancock that have independently suggested the date of around 10,500 BC as the time when the Pyramid and Sphinx were built based on astronomical alignments). This exact area of the sky was also indicated by the Pyramid. On 12/21/10440 BC on the the Zenith and Nader axis. Yeah, I know the fact the December solstice was indicated again. Also, there is a connection with the three birds again when the Pyramid was built. In this case, a triangle was formed in the sky by three bird constellations. Those were Lyra (the hawk holding a lyre), Cygnus (swan) and Auilus (Eagle). They were directly above the pyramid as it was built. According to Edgar Cacye, the pyramid was to symbolize the involution of the spirit into flesh and evolution out of the flesh. The Pyramid contains a timeline that ends in 2038 and is a map for humanity, set in stone that could not be destroyed, as a testament to our purpose here on Earth. Here is that purpose in summary: "The premise put forth in the readings is that one of the ultimate goals in life is to somehow give expression to the souls individuality while we are in the Earth- thereby bringing Spirit into Earth. To this end each indivudal has the ability to manifest a unique vibration that somehow reflects the very image of the divine." pg 109 of Contemporary Cacye by Kevin Todeschi and Henry Reed. Scorpio Scorpio, the astrological sign that holds Antares, known as the Scorpion's Heart, is interesting. It's come up a few times in what I've read. First and foremost, as I mentioned, Scorpio is depicted as both a Scropion and as part of a vulture chick on the Gobekli Tepe Pillar. Astronomers refer to Scorpio as the Fish Hook. Yet, in Ancient Egypt it was most likely to represent the Heka-Staff or the Shepard's Crook. Both of these have significant meaning to the Egyptians. The Heka staff was one of the symbols of the Pharaoh. The Heka-Staff, basically, represents a spiritually awakened individual. More or less, according to John Van Auken, it represents someone with a fully functional Kundalini. The Kundalini is the energy that passes up the spine through the chakra's and it's known as the 'god force' of an individual. Also, we clearly associate the Shepard's Staff with both Moses and Yeshua (Jesus). Again, in both of these cases the suggestion is that this is a fully spiritually awakened individual. Ophiuchus Typically, Ophiuchus as a man holding a serpent by the head and tail (the snake is a constellation called Serpentarius). Strangely, the man is said to face opposite Orion. Which is true, because if you look up into the night sky to the right is Orion and to the left is Ophiuchus. The constellation is tied to several interesting Gods. The Greek's saw it as a man who learned the secret of immortality from snakes and so was struck dead by a lightening bolt before he could share it with the rest of humanity and placed among the stars. To the Sumerians it was the Annunaki God Enki which is fascinating in his own right as he was seen as one of two competing Gods for the Earth. He was the Lord of the Seas. His symbol was fish. The website Spirit Science connects Ophiuchus to Joseph in the bible (according to Edgar Cacye, interestingly enough, this was one of Yeshua's incarnations). There is actually ample evidence to suggest that Joseph was Imhotep in Egypt. Both were stewards to the Pharaoh during seven years of plenty and seven years of famine. (I suggest looking this up, it's a bit fascinating). If we don't look at the other information and just the image itself, we could say that Ophiuchus is the man who has tamed the Serpent. Which has an entire meaning of it's own. The serpent representing earthiness and temptation, being tamed has much the same meaning as the Heka-Staff or a person who is spiritually awakened. Also, it's interesting to note that in Wikipedia it's mentioned many cultures saw Ophiuchus trampling the Scorpion. The Scorpion, if you might remember, is connected to the Kiss of Death that Judas gave to Yeshua. Ophiuchus, the symbol when taken in it's entirely can be seen as taming his worldly nature and triumphing over Death. Birds So I mentioned, interestingly, that what emerged in the information that I came across is the theme of three birds. On the Pillar in Gobekli Tepe it could be seen as the chick, the bird with it's arms outstretched signifying where the sun in the galactic alignment on it's wing, and one holding a serpent. The second, is the significance of three bird constellations that if we hopped into a time machine we would have seen circling the tip of the pyramid as it was being built (which was over a hundred year period according to Cacye). John Van Auken explains that in Egypt the Soul, or Ba was depicted as birds. Souls that were not incarnate were depicted as having bird heads. The bird could also represent the Higher Self. Egyptian beliefs were focused on uniting the Ba (the soul) with the Ka (the human consciousness). The Ba, is the aspect of ourselves that always remains before the Throne of God or in heaven (I've explained before I see this as the Higher Self). Interestingly, Laird Scranton also talks about the Vultures at Gobekli Tepe. He connects the vultures to Goddesses. He ties Vultures to Isis and Nephthys but he gives no explanation for why there is a third vulture. A search provided that there is a third Vulture Goddess called Nekhebet but Laird does not mention her in his work and I'm not sure it would fit in with the cosmology he has worked out. She too is also associated with Isis and Nephthys but may be a later adaptation during the New Kingdom. In Egypt, both Isis and Nephthys are depicted as vultures. He also notes that Vultures are also tied to Large Breasted Eagles. He ties this in with Gobekli Tepe by saying Tebe might be etymologically significant. The word vulture is Tebe in Egyptian which is the root for the word Tebelu which means, "Moment when Humanity was restored to culture." (pg. 51-52 Point of Origin). The Serpent The following could be it's own post and in the future I might expand on this topic. I'm simply going to summarize what I have become aware of without quoting anyone. There is clearly, the suggestion that the Serpent is associated with Sin. Yet, the Serpent was actually considered a sign of abundance in Egypt. There were a few gods that were depicted as snakes that were benevolent. In the Egyptian Book of the Dead there was also Apep, who was considered evil. However, I think what seems to be most universal is that it represents a focus on material objects (abundance in a way) and material reality which is what caused the falling away from the connection with God/The Universal Source. After all, it was Eve's desire for a material object that caused "sin" in the bible. This is a very basic or primitive state of Spiritual Life. So, it represents an animal that slithers on its belly and is very Earthly all of it's life. From Snake To Bird What I noticed when studying the eight Neters of Egyptian mythology that within their names there were certain symbols. Serpent- Atum, the self created one is depicted as a serpent along with his daughter Tefnut. Birds- Shu has a chick in his name, Geb has a goose, and Horus has the Falcon. The reason I find this interesting is that these eight ancestors are associated with different stages of creation or matter. They might have even been connected to stages similar to Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs with Horus representing self-actualization. Even more interesting is that in another metaphor creation consists of four stages: 1. The Dung Beetle (non-existence), 2. The Fish (or Snake which was mentioned in another part) (raising up of matter or mass/also depicted as the BenBen stone in the Atum myth), 3. The Jackal or Fox (matter in the state of reorganization) 4. The Goose (completed state). (Cosmological Origin of Myth and Symbol by Laird Scranton) Add to this that the Egyptians were the first ones to create the image of the Beanu bird- the Greeks called it a Phoenix- that rises up from it's own ashes...and Ancient Egypt definitely had a thing for birds as a symbol for Spirit and Spiritual Rebirth. Now, add to this Quetzalcoatl in North and South America. What is Quetzalcoatl? A serpent with wings. This is the combination of the Snake (worldly aspect) being given wings (heavenly aspect). In other words, a person who has combined their material and spiritual aspects. In the stories he didn't always have wings, however, there is a certain period in time when he receives his wings, which is in this eighty year time span. Conclusion Well, I've pretty much exhausted the little synchronicity experience I had in the last few days. I don't know if it means anything but it is fascinating that a constellation I had no idea about and received very little press has taken such prominence in my life. I find it interesting that Mars, associated with war or battle, is aligned with it's rival Antares and Saturn. I might investigate those three a bit deeper. I'm not sure if this has any meaning to people in the general population. For me, personally, it reminds me of the humbling nature of Creation. To me this is all happening comes at a very interesting time. I've reached a comfortable sense of Wholeness. My impressions working with my dreams and waking life is that I am imbuing more of my Spirit in the physical realm with the emphasis on the importance of individuality . I think John Van Auken said it best: "Our souls have traveled throughout the cosmos from the beginning of creation. Many of us, our souls, went through the initiations of these ancient mystery schools and temples during the thousands of years of descent into matter...As we reawaken the soul-self within us, we will remember and understand...This is one of the great aspects of this new era which we are entering, an Awakening- an Awakening like none other, where whole groups of souls rise to a more universal, eternal view of life, past and future." pg 4 Ancient Egyptian Mysticism.

Setting The Tone
The opening words to Galadriel's prologue in the Lord of the Rings has always given me goosebumps: "The world has changed, I feel it in the water, I feel it in the earth, I smell it in the air, Much that once was is lost, For now none live that remember it." I have stated my belief that authors, artists and musicians are Shaman's. That to write they are channeling the divine (in Greece they would say a Muse was helping them) but in the case of J.R.R. Tolkien's Lord of the Rings I believe that he was trying to recapture old myths and in so doing touched on the story of mankind. As always, the perspective of soul of the channel affects the writing so it gets filtered through certain beliefs. However, these words uttered before the story of the One Ring rings true for the story I'm going to tell today. Introduction My apologies for not getting back to this earlier. I'm attempting to post at least once a week as writing is very therapeutic for me. However, I had a very busy two weeks filled with doctor appointments and even a jury summons that, thankfully, I was dismissed from serving. So, today I want to look at another aspect of this "Induction" of souls that started the entire grand experiment of incarnating souls on Earth. In previous blogs that were lost I covered the idea that he world is an experiment. I rejected the idea that we are an Alien experiment of some sort where we were seeded on the Earth to see what would happen. I have heard this suggested in a few places but if there was a seeding it was a spiritually motivated one and yes, I believe that it was a spiritual experiment. This next part is still somewhat of a gray area for me and I can't say exactly where I heard it at first. I'm not sure of the initial source however in the Books I have recently read Edgar Cacye's Atlantis by Gregory Little, Dora Little and John Van Auken and even Rudolf Steiner's work seem to indicate this idea. I also think that there is some information from Bashar that coincides. The Great Forgetting When beings first came to Earth and began "pushing themselves" into matter it seems that they retained a lot more knowledge of their Spiritual ancestry and they still had contact with the Source. They knew that they were naturally spiritual beings. They knew that they were a soul and belonged in the dimension from which that soul had come from where the Source exists- and that this material world/dimension is an illusion. Edgar Cacye and Rudolf Steiner describe the very first people as living in complicated nest within Trees and sometimes in caves. To me this brings to mind the idea of the Elves. However, it appears that at some point- perhaps in Atlantis- a travesty happened. According to the the Edgar Cacye material this occurred when there was the mishandling of a crystal by Atlantis. This occurred when a new set of Souls began incarnating on the Earth that would become what Edgar Cacye called the Followers of Belial. This might be what Rudolf Steiner considers the "Luciferic" influence. Interestingly, in one of the sessions named Interstellar Enneagram, Bashar explained that originally Earth was of a positive high vibration. Because of this when beings from Orion, who's prior world were devastated and destroyed by war, began incarnating here it brought down the vibration of the Earth. (Vibration is an idea that we see in a lot of metaphysical topics and in psychology. I will cover it more in a future post). I find it very possible that in some way these beings might have been the ones that Edgar Cacye called the Sons of Belial. After the Crystal, now called the Firestone, was mercilessly turned on animals it was decided in the Spiritual Realm that there would have to be a full "descent" into matter from which we would then "ascend" out of at a future date. The beings who had turned the crystal on the animals had no empathy for the animals or for the planet. This required the great Forgetting. This Forgetting can also be considered a great "Separateness" as Jamie Sams refers to in her book Dancing the Dream. In this she uses the Mayan term the "Fourth World of Separation" which, according to her, we have been going through for the past 60,000 to 70,000 years! Amazingly, Jamie Sams date does match up with the first destruction of Atlantis that Edgar Cacye gives of 50,722 BC when the "descent" of consciousness is said to have begun. Entering Spiritual Darkness The situation that seemed to tip humanity into the deepest darkest days was actually the arrival of Christ. Interestingly, while the life and death of Yeshua is hailed by many sources as being an incredibly crucial point in our history. I admit, it is hard for me to talk about these times and not appear to be biased against them. As a spiritually minded person that feels the Oneness with all things in life (to the point where I can pick up on the pain that animals feel) the dogma of the Catholic Church seems to be cruel. Yet, in many ways, it retained some of the old beliefs. The Saints, in a way, are a form of multiple deities especially given that some of them (St. Bridget for example) were originally Gods or Goddesses. So, in some ways it is easier for a Catholic to conceive some Spiritual ideas than it is for a Born Again Christian of other sects. First, it appears, from all of the research that I have done that Yeshua (the Christ) and possibly even the Jewish people were familiar with and may have beleived in reincarnation. There is a sect of Jewish people called the Druze who appear to believe that they are the reincarnated priests of Atlantis. The idea that Elijah and Moses would both be involved in the events of the Revelation certainly makes it possible that they were to be reincarnated. The one part in the bible that always represented reincarnation to me is Matthew 17 when Yeshua says that John the Baptist is Elias. What else could John the Baptist be but the reincarnation of Elias? John the Baptist's birth is even detailed in the book of Matthew so clearly the body of Elias was not found and then resurrected back to life. I have argued before that cultures did not just sit in little test tubes and grow on their own as our telling of history seems to indicate. Instead, there was always trade among nations encouraging the mingling of people and ideas. There is even the possibility that Yeshua traveled with one of his uncles (a story often told in Europe) who was a merchant and went to distant lands. At the time of Yeshua the Indian culture was already developed and Buddhism already existed. I have absolutely no doubt that Yeshua's sojourns into the desert were based on the practice of isolated meditation that Yogis perform. Yet, with the adoption of Christianity by the Roman Empire much of the religion was changed and set into dogma. The religion was taught as very literal. The majority of the dogma was held to be true even by subsequent churches that separated from the Catholic Church. The dogma is rarely based on anything that is actually written in the bible or Jewish traditions. The most damaging ideas to the soul that are believed to be true by the Church are: 1.) That only the Pope and Priests have access to God. All others cannot even dare to approach God (let alone be connected with God/The Source). 2.) That we only have one life in which we may earn either eternal damnation or eternal bliss upon Christ's return. Upon Christ's return corpses would rise up from their graves like Lazarus. Hence, why people began to be buried in cemeteries instead of cremated. 3.) That any sort of claim to be connected to God or 'powers of healing' that are not of the Clergy is demonic. These people were usually burned at the stake even if they were merely offering herbal remedies for illnesses. 4.) That anyone who believes in anything that is not Christian is a Savage or Pagan that must be converted to Christianity by force. Just as the people above they represented a threat of temptation to the God fearing Christian. Perhaps, Yeshua came to bring into existence this dark period because it was necessary for the development of human souls. He served as a light in the darkness of those days even as the people who brought the darkness did so in his name. The Renaissance Strangely, after the Dark Ages where superstitions and religion was so strict there came the Renaissance. This was a period where there was a little bit more freedom for belief and some of the older stories and myths were 'rediscovered.' This is also the period of the Reformation. The brutal control that the Roman Empire had over thought and belief was finally broken. As a result humanity entered a period of great achievements and advancements. The Spiritualist Movement We're going to skip ahead to a period of time even closer to our own. This, however, occurred at the end of the 1800's and went into the 1950's. This period marked when Western ideas once again met with Eastern ideas. Probably the most widely known information about the Spiritualist movement was that mediums and psychics were no longer chased out of towns. Instead, people began turning to them to get advice and information about dead loved ones. Abraham Lincoln's wife and even the president himself attended seances. This was also the time when Edgar Cacye was giving his information, Rudolf Steiner was doing tours of Europe giving his speeches and the Theosophy movement began. In many ways this could be seen as the seed of the current New Age Movement. For the first time, religions were being blended together in an attempt to understand Spirit. Materialism By far one of the most interesting situations to come about after our long descent and "Separation" from the Source (which is kind of impossible as God is All-That-Is) is how involved people have become with material reality. Just watching one episode of Hoarders is truly mind blowing (and can spur anyone into a cleaning spree or a trip to Goodwill). The only reason people would latch on so much to material things is because they believe that is all that they have. With Science telling us that we are just animals that have gained a rare intellect and are effectively a scourge or virus on this planet there is a great deal of alienation within our own species. There are people who really believe that population control is necessary. Further, the insistence that with medical and other interventions that people have been able to procreate on an unnatural scale that is going to destroy our planet is a prevalent idea. These are ideas that only people without faith in nature or a higher power can believe. This has also lead to the absurd "YOLO" people in my current generation. These people justify abhorrent acts based the idea that "You only live once," and they don't appear to believe in the afterlife at all. Conclusion The idea of Separation, that we are so far from the Creator that we no longer know that we are Spiritual beings having a physical experience, has been so slow and complete that people really believe that Earth is all that exists. The connection with an alien race might change that idea. Indeed, it would certainly fly in the face of Religion. After all, it was religious authorities that believed that we were the center of the universe (and killed people who dared to prove otherwise). They also insisted that the Earth is flat (and there is some crazy guy on Youtube still supporting this belief) until Columbus (re)discovered the Americas. Now, we have moved on to the Scientific idea that we are the only intelligent species in a universe filled with billions of planets because we have no irrefutable proof to prove otherwise. Even Science knows that it is impossible that we are the only 'intelligent' species in the universe but why is it that we have had no irrefutable proof that other species exist? Perhaps, it is because humanity had to make this descent. We had to explore and play out every possible drama that we could think of experiencing this Separation from Source and Forgetting Our Divine Nature to understand how the mineral, the plant and the animals experienced life. Maybe, through the process we learned how to be individuals that have consciousness of their own (as opposed to being a just a thought projection of the Source). Perhaps, through our many lessons in the flesh we learn compassion (which was apparently lacking in the Atlantis experience with the Firestone), understand the importance of balance (which I will cover in depth in a later blog), and we can empathize with any creature that is suffering because we too have suffered. If you are wondering, by the way, about how the Sumerian Annunaki (those from Heaven to Earth Came) fit into this...there is the mystery of the "perfected body" that showed up after the time of Atlantis. This "perfected body" is the one that we have now. As Edgar Cacye describes Atlantis the people there did not look like us and he talks about root races (as does Steiner and the Theosophy movement). However, he does go into the story of the first (lived in caves made nests in trees), second- androgynous lived in Atlantis, third (Amilius and Lilith) when the two sexes were separated....and, yet there appears to be very little on when and how the Fourth (which we are currently in) came about. I'm currently investigating this topic but it is very possible the "lulu" that the Annunaki interfered with genetically might have been the third root race and they created the fourth. I'm currently investigating this idea. The Buddhists have the idea of Samsara, which they say our souls are trying to escape. I have told this story before but I will do so again and it's from Pema Chodron. In it a woman is running through the forest when she discovers there is a tiger behind her. She runs to a cliff and she begins to climb down a vine. When she looks below her she sees a tiger below her as well. A tiger above her and a tiger below her. On the vine, she sees a ripe strawberry. She plucks the strawberry from the vine and it is the most brilliant wonderful taste. This story of the Tiger above and a Tiger below represents the Death before this life and the Death after it. Because of this balance the Strawberry, the experience, can be appreciated. Our souls, I have come to believe, are all about experience. That is how we learn. Whether the experience is good or bad is up to us and is largely due to perspective because life is inherently subjective (as I have stated before). Each persons perspective of life is absolutely unique and that is why we can say that each of us is a unique emanation of the Source. Interestingly, Bashar said that this period that we currently left is "The Span." The Span ended in 2015 as did the Quarantine on humans. We have entered a time known as the "Splitting of the Prisim." This Quarantine might have been put in place so we could act out all of these different scenarios...so that we could be the oppressor and the oppressed. The thief and the store owner. According to Bashar these scenarios, for the most part, have been played out and it's time for something new. Almost all literature from many sources- Native American and "Spiritual" points to a "New Age" where the Separation ends and we are again aware of our connection with and the presence of the Source. I, personally, have always felt the Oneness. I have always been able to send my consciousness out to surf the energy (which feels like an ocean) of that Oneness. That has been harder as I've become older, and it was very hard when I was stuck in the "rat race." Yet, the warmth of it, even the memory of doing that, brings me great peace and comfort. I cannot imagine not feeling in harmony with creation and the ebb and flow of life. One of the major realizations that I have had is that others do not feel this connection. I really hope and pray that everyone comes to feel it because once you do the idea of willfully hurting another just falls away. Accidents do still happen, and learning to defend myself from other peoples abuse (and being a doormat) has been one of my biggest lessons in this life but I could never willingly hurt another for no other purpose than some sort of feeling of self-entitlement because it is, in essence, hurting myself. What Is The Shift? Finally, both Edgar Cacye and Bashar are in agreement that we are going into a period where our world is in a more positive state. This state, however, might be a wee bit dangerous if we do not understand it. Because, we are coming to the time where we will have the powers that Atlantis had....and Atlantis destroyed itself. Strangely, Bashar and Edgar Cacye (based on the Pyramid Prophecy) are in agreement that 2038 is the time when we will see the most change and the transition from one Age to Another will be complete. In an interview, Peter Woodbury, he says that a Mayan teacher he spoke to talked about 2038. They were having the Mayan teacher at the A.R.E. and he explained he was more worried about the two thirteen year intervals after 2012 and not 2012. That's the pinnacle to which we have been climbing.
Recently, I purchase several books using money from my Birthday. On a lark I purchased an amazing book from 1998 by Jamie Sams called Dancing the Dream The Seven Sacred Paths of Human Transformation. This is the first book that I ever read that talks about Initiation by Spirit. I was blown away as I read about things that have happened to me in my life and so many things were explained. I actually found myself crying at one point as an epiphany hit me hard about one of the 'mistakes' that I was making my own life.
I was even more surprised that I've had a Oracle Set, called Animal Medicine Cards, that Jamie Sams co-authored for over a decade now. In fact, I just recently bought them for my mother who was curious about Animal Medicine. For those of you not familiar with Native American teachings, Each Animal represents a specific field of information or teaching...that is called Medicine. Each person also has their own medicine...so when we say, "I gave her a taste of her own medicine," it's a reference to a Native American belief. As I said, I am only human and I am just following the path that is before me. I am in no way perfect or 'know more' than others. However, I must say that I have experienced moments of tremendous synchronicity (a term originated by Carl Jung by the way) and I have an ability to see the connections in various field of work and weave them into a comprehensive easy to understand presentation. There was information in there that really caught my attention that very few people have been talking about that correlate to other sources including my own intuition. I'm so excited about these new discoveries that I wanted to share them. They are topics I plan on revisiting soon. 1998 I previously stated that what is happening is something I first perceived as having a potential to happen around the late 1990's, again in the late 2000's (around 2007) and it's happening now. This feeling that I had did not come from any sources that I read but a gut instinct. In doing the research for my next Shift Post I discovered a bit of information in the John Van Auken's book 2038 The Great Pyramid Timeline Prophecy. Here is what I really didn't notice before found on page 93: "He (Edgar Cacye) explained that record in the pyramid 'is from that as recoded from the journey to Pyrenees [The escape from sinking Atlantis] and to 1998 from the death of the Son of Man as a man' (378-14). From Cacye's perspective the year 1998 was a "milestone" in the journey of our souls. It marked the beginning of a New Age, an age of enlightenment and rapid soul growth. The biblical book of Revelations identifies this age as being a time when "Satan is bound" and lasting roughly 1000 years. Cacye also correlated the begining of this New Age with a shifting of the Earth Poles, something scientists have recently confirmed. The magnetic poles of the Earth are in the process of shifting, a process that began around 1998." Further, upon reading Jamie Sams book that contains information that I have come across nowhere else I found this: "The ancient Native American Wisdom of the Crystal Skull and White Buffalo Dreaming societies, both of which I have been a part of has been held in secret for centuries. These two dreaming societies are comprised of Dreamers, Seers, and healers from many of the tribes from Mexico and a few members from southern tribes in the United States. Our teachings are sacred, and due to the prophecy we have held for centuries, we knew the information regarding the seven paths of initiation and transformation was not to be revealed until the nine hells on the the Mayan calendar had ended. Since the late 1500's, with coming of the conquestadors, practicing the spirituality of our ancestors was punishable by death. Native Americans North and South of the border between the United States and Mexico were forced to keep spiritual ceremonies secret and our ancient wisdom out of the hands of those who would misuse the information. In the United States, the ceremonies of Native Americans were officially banned for over one hundred years. In Mexico, the torture rendered by church officials and political regimes was present until 1989 when the first inter-tribal Native American ceremony was allowed to be held in public. Finally, the nine hells ended in January of 1997; now it is time to share the wisdom that my teachers taught me." Then on page 231: "My personal experience on the sixth path took seventeen and a half years. That is not to say that it will take others as long as it has taken me. Many of the initiation experiences come easier today than they did eighteen years ago because of the lowering of the Earths magnetism and the increased electrical cycles per second, or hertz. The electromagnetic systems of the body are responding to the shift in the Earth Mother's electromagnetic energy system. We are experiencing 9 to 9.9 hertz in 1997, and it will increase to 13 Hertz by the year 2012. Many people have now blazed the trails...allowing others to find and follow the paths." 7's We all know when you see three 7's in a row it symbolizes a jackpot. What few people know is the importance of Seven's in most cosmologies or human belief systems. From Laird Scranton's The Cosmological Origins of Myth and Symbol: "Part and parcel of this cosmological tradition are concepts that are expressed in relation to the numbers 7 and 8 that are key to the cosmological symbolism as we understand it." (pg 25) "Like modern string theorists, the Dogon say that, conceptually, prior to existing as these particles, matter exists as primordial threads, which are effectively woven into matter. Each thread is said to pass through a series of seven vibrations inside a tiny egg, which the Dogon call the po pilu and which take as a likely counterpart to the tiny, wrapped up bundles of seven dimensions in string theory or torsion theory called the Calabi- Yau space. It is this component of matter that the Dogon priests call the egg of the world and describe as a pivotal component of matter to be found in the world just 'below' ours. The vibrations inside this egg are conceived of as seven rays of a star of increasing length and are represented by yet another Dogon drawing. The figures of this drawing are read from right to left, like Egyptian glyphs as they are arranged in some inscriptions or like the letters of a traditional Hebrew text." pg 36 In Dancing the Dream by Jamie Sams: "Other cultures and philosophies have outlined the same seven paths of human initiation... In the Catholic tradition, seven sacred sacraments are used to embody faith and to develop the attributes and compassion of Christ-like understanding. In the Hindu and Buddhist traditions, seven energy centers called chakras within the human body allow the life force and spiritual energy to travel through a person, bringing enlightened states of awareness. The Hindu and Buddhist traditions contain different practices and spiritual disciplines but both acknowledge the personal spiritual journey that allows a person to attain a sense of wholeness. In the Muslim tradition, Hagar, concubine of Abraham, was cast out into the desert with her son, Ishmael, when Abraham wife, Sarah, became jealous of her. Hagar had accepted Jehovah, the God of Abraham while living with the tribes of Israel. When she ran out of water in the desert and Ishmael was near death, Hagar called upon Jehova. God appeared to her and told her to have faith and that she and the child would be saved. God commanded Hagar to run between two hills in the desert seven times in order to show her fain in one God. At the end of the Seventh path, a spring came bubbling up from the desert between the legs of her son, where he lay in the sand, creating an oasis. In the Jewish tradition, the number seven is very important. In Hebrew, seven is shivah. Jehovah or God created the world in six days, and on the seventh day he rested. The seventh day is the Jewish Sabbath or Shabbat, which as its root int he word seven. Shabbat begins at sunset on Friday night, which is considered to be the begging of Saturday by the Jewish people. During that sundown, the feminine aspect of God descends upon the people. From then until the following sunset the people worship, pray and rest, doing nothing that would keep them from being receptive to the feminine aspect of God, which they consider to be spirit. When a person dies, there are seven days of grieving, called sitting shivah, which also stems from the word seven. These end with the family going to the cemetery to release the loved ones spirit. The first harvest of any type of fruit or vegetable is marked with a holiday called Shabouth, which is the plural of the Hebrew word for a week composed of seven days. The sacred day of Passover always falls in the seventh month of the Jewish calendar. In Seneca and Cherokee spiritual traditions, the seven sacred directions of the Medicine Wheel represent the seven paths of human initiation. The first six directions are represented by the East path, the South path, the North path, the Above path, and the below Path. In the Seneca spiritual tradition the seventh path is called the Within path; in the Cherokee tradition it is called the NOW." (Pages 5-6) The Dream Weave The final thing I want to leave off with is the Dream Weave: Jamie Sams in Dancing the Dream: "Imagine a road map or blueprint of lines of energy connecting all things; you would be visualizing the Dream Weave. The colors and textures of the intersecting lines of energy differ according to the individual viewing them, because each person has a different perspective on life. For centuries, our adept Native American Dreamers and Seers have been aware of this energetic web connecting all matter, energy, space and time. Physicists have called the elementary particles or the connecting energy between atoms gluons. The Southern Seers see these elementary particles as forming a web of energy connecting the seen and unseen worlds of our universe. Our Ancient legends say that Grandmother Spider weaving the web of the universe to show the inter relatedness of all things. The Southern Seers perceive the web of energy as made of Spirit or divine life force. We begin to see and feel the energy web of the universe when we heal our fears and released old wounds, lifting the (7) veils of separation that were created by how we previously viewed the world." pg 10 "We are constantly being touched by spiritual influences that alter our perceptions. We don't usually recognize it until we have encountered it many times. The two worlds of the tangible and intangible come together like a busy intersection, one world contains matter and unwittingly uses the energy of the other world without understanding it or accurately perceiving the forces contained therein. As we grow, we become more aware of how those two worlds affect our lives moment by moment and decision by decision." pg 63 From Laird Scranton The Cosmological Origins of Myth and Symbol: "...For example, in ancient Egyptian cosmology, the great mother goddess, Neith (also known as Net), is credited with having woven matter on a loom with her shuttle, while in Dogon cosmology, the spider Dada (sometimes called Nana) is defined as having woven matter from threads int he form of a web. Although we might first see these as irreconcilable differences between two cosmologies, when we dig deeper we discover the likely truth of the matter. First, we find that in Dogon language the word Dada means, "mother." so it can be seen to agree with the Egyptian concept of a mother goddess. Second, when we look to ancient mother goddesses from other cultures that are traditionally equated with Neith, such as Athena in Ancient Greece, we often find evidence of spider symbolism. These references hel us to reconcile Neith in Egypt with the Dogon spider references. Then again, this same example demonstrates the importance of ultimate preseverence on the part of the comparative cosmologist, because we eventually compare the Dogon and Egyptian cosmological systems with Buddhist cosmology, we find a tradition that defines matter as having been woven in a web by a spider as if on a loom or shuttle." pg 17 Understanding One of the things that I have come to understand as well that has been a bit of a revelation is that the people who are not ready for certain things will not understand what I say or write. These people are simply on different paths in their own lives then the one that I am on. I've learned, I'm a bit more advanced then others when it comes to this path for no other reason than I wish to serve humanity and I'm willing to investigate. In the bible it says, "It is God's glory to conceal a matter, and the glory of kings to investigate a matter." The thing is some people are not ready for some information. I think that's why some people can't "get" this stuff. The reason information is 'hidden' isn't because people shouldn't know it or it is kept quite on purpose by some mysterious conspiracy. It is simply that to those who do not want to know, who prefer a particular belief system...it sounds like nonsense. This appears to be done on purpose in a divine way and nothing man made. I have observed this in my own life when I tried to share an advanced teaching with someone and they heard something totally different. No path is wrong but I've learned that God does hide certain knowledge from people until they are ready for it or it is presented in the right manner for them to grasp it so they can apply it in their own lives. Conclusion So, I've sketched my recent journey here. This is where things are starting to make sense not just from an intuitive point of view but also through a framework that's easy to understand. Heck, its even backed up by science. I will get into the three 'worlds' or what might be considered dimensions in a future post. The first world is water or waves (perhaps light), the second is our Dream Weave and the third is our physical world. There does seem to be a single cosmology. I'm sure you can see how the teachings I've provided connect. The Dream Weave is something we interact with every day, we charge it with our actions. If they are negative then we put negative energy into the Dream Weave. That Dream Weave will eventually give us back that negative energy in a larger amount. Understanding how the dream weave works, that there are 7 veils within it, is very important to my path right now. Those 7 paths of initiation are shared by most cultures. However, we have to understand that we help weave the Dream Weave with our thoughts, our imaginings and our dreams. Therefore, we interactively create our own reality. There is much more, that the former age that we have been in has been the world of Separation (from God) and that we are now entering a 5th world of Peace. All of that, however, will continue to unfold as I continue with the Shift blogs. I apolgoize for the deviation but I leave you with some homework. You really should read this: http://www.manataka.org/page495.html and watch the two videos at the end about the Warriors of the Rainbow Propehcy and The Prophecy of the Rainbow Bridge. Again, these are positive messages I don't see many focusing on so I want to share them as right now everyone seems to be so negative because of the uncertainty caused by the election.
Today I'm going to start off by telling a story.
We are going to start off from a very broad point of view of the story of humanity and I'm going to include the creation myths of many places to illustrate this point of view. Each of the next posts we will start to look a little bit closer with our binoculars at the story. I do ask that people suspend belief's that might interfere with this idea and just ponder this as a possibility. The idea that our ancestors knew more than we do now and that knowledge was lost is one that I have always felt in my heart to be truth. I don't, however, insist that you believe in anything. This is just some of the fun stuff. I will go through at the end of this and list sources and references. I will refer to some ancient beliefs held by some of the greatest civilizations in our world and include a talk by John Van Auken on this subject. Primarily, the following story comes from John Van Auken and the research he has done. However, as we shall see there is a great deal of this that has been told in different ways in many tribes and cultures. The Story Of Souls Coming To Earth All souls come a spiritual source that is like a sun. Each of the souls on earth are a ray of that sun. These Souls, sparks of the Creator, came to Earth and they saw the beauty of the planet. At that time they were spirit, they were not solid, but they could see the potential in the Earth. Earth was a more dense, heavy, level of awareness than the ones that the souls naturally came from. Slowly, these souls began to push their way into matter, to experience life as the material of Earth. They became more and more enthralled with the physical experience. A second set of souls were watching these experimenters. They were worried about the experimenter souls, that they would lose touch with the Creator. They worried that a body had not been prepared for these souls to enter. This second set of souls began to incarnate in Atlantis in physical bodies. However, there were traces of animals that could be seen...scales here, a fin there, claws in another. These were the ones who made up Atlantis. Something happened in Atlantis, there was some great error made that lead to the rest of Creation being dumbstruck. (I'm currently investigating Atlantis). Multiple sources I have already heard is that the Souls in Atlantis lost their reverence for life and began killing other beings and animals for sport. A decision was made in the spiritual realm and the Flood began. There was also the decision that there must be a time of separation, where those who made this error would learn why these grievous act was not acceptable. The people of Atlantis began to migrate to the different parts of the world- The Andes, Egypt, The veils between the two worlds, the Spirit, and of mankind were lowered so humanity would forget their spiritual origin. The forgetting happened slowly with the first few generations chronicling the story in their art and sacred oral traditions. We are coming to the end of this time of separation and forgetting. The 4th root race, a new improved body, is developed to help souls better evolve through this entrapment in matter. The Story Depicted In Egypt In Ancient Egyptian Mystcisim and It's relevance today, John Van Auken explains that an image of the story of mans spiritual descent into the material Earth expereince based on a picture from the tomb walls of Ramses. "The two large lions represent Yesterday (on the right) and tomorrow (on the left). The story begins with the descent of the heavenly barque (boat) from out of the heavens. Two souls symbolized b two birds with human heads are giving homage to a symbol which has the body of the beetle and the head of a ram, representing the beginning period (Aries) of entry into matter and materialism (the dung beetle). On the bow of the barque sits a monkey, indicating the souls incarnated in physical forms used by the monkey. Looking across to the lion of Tomorrow, you will see that the barque of heaven is rising out of the Earth realms back to the heavens with a bird on its bow, indicating that we will fly above this plane in forms as light as a small bird. In the lower central portion of this image we see two hands holding up or honoring the sun disk of Ra. The two hands are the image of the Ka, the spirit and in this case they are the Great Spirit. The Solar Disk is the Great Consciousness. The three beings to the right and left of the hands and disk are the personalities of the past and the future that each soul will experience. In our souls early experiences in this dimension, we will be looking back toward creation and the fall, but as we focus on what has to be done in this realm we begin to look forward toward the resurrection and ascension." The Dogon Creation Story The story in the Dogon is told in the Book The Pale Fox by Griaule and Dieterlin. This is a tribe from Africa. Their story too involves a boat but it's a little different. I'm going to paraphrase and simplify the story here based on the material in The Pale Fox (which I have read) and this page (http://www.gateway-africa.com/stories/Dogon_Creation_Myth.html) I do also want to mention that there is more than one version of the story told. There is one for those who are outsiders and those who are intitiates. Griaule and Dieterlin were initiates and so they were told a more expanded story than what most visitors or even children in the tribe are told. Here, I'm going to go with the children's story. There is far more to the story of the initiate but I want to keep this story simple. Amma is the creator. Amma split in two and created Ogo, the Fox. Ogo descended in an ark via the river of the Milky Way and tried to mate with the Earth. He created many mounds in this process. When Amma discovered what the Fox had done he realized that he had to purify the Earth. Amma created a representative order, called the Nommo. They were four sets of twins and created 8 assistants. These eight were called the ancestors of human beings and also descended in an Ark. One of the Nummo was required to be sacrificed in order to purify the Earth and he was resurrected by Amma. The Hopi Creation Story I'm going to paraphrase this one because it is a little long but you can read the entire story here: (http://www.oocities.org/athens/delphi/2911/hopi5.html). In the first world the people lived simply with the animals. In the second world they developed handicrafts, homes and villages. In the third world they created cities and they forgot to sing the songs to the creator because they were so focused on their own plans. Some of them retained the knowledge from their Emergence but they were worried because others had wicked ways. This is why the Creator would destroy their world ever so often to wipe the slate clean and the world could begin anew. So, the people with wisdom sang louder and longer from the top of their hills. The other people hardly heard them. They began to use their power in evil and obstructive ways. Some of them made a shield, they used it to fly to a big city, attack it, and fly away from it so fast that no one knew where they came from. Soon these flying shields were made in many cities and they were attacking one another. So, corruption and war had come to the the third world as it had the others. The Spider Woman was told by SotuKnang to wrap the wise people in reeds to protect them as he destroyed the world. He loosed waters upon the world and waves higher than mountains broke the continents asunder and sank them beneath the seas. The Spider Woman unsealed their reeds when the flood was over. They were on a little piece of land that was all that was left of the third world. Sotuknang appeared to Spider Woman and told them that she must lead them on and so Spider Woman instructed the people to make boats and trust their intuition to lead them... Looking to the the west and south the people could see sticking out of the water islands upon which they had rested, "These are the footprints of your journey, Sotukanang told them, "the tops of the high mountains of the third world. Now watch..." As they watched the islands sank one by one, "I have even washed way the stepping stones of your Emergence that I provided you...but the time will come if you preserve the memory and meaning of your emergence when these stepping stones will emerge again to prove the words you speak." Inca Creation Myth The Sun existed first but no one could see anything because he was so bright. So he created the Moon and the Stars. The moon became his wife. The sun and the moon had one daughter and one sun. They sent them to the Earth to show the humans how to survive. The son of the Sun God was the very first Inca. Conclusion I have included the stories of several civilizations and while I could add more explaining how they fit together I don't think it would of service to anyone to drag on that long. So, instead I will leave off here. Most of you can see the connection the story of Noah and even Genesis. What I see though, in a lot of societies is that they start off saying that they came from the sun. However, unlike the sun of this material world they are talking about the sun of the spiritual world- the Creator. I really find it funny when I hear archaeologists talking about sun worship, they take so much literally when they are reading the work of ancient people and I think it's so funny. In Destiny of Souls Michael Newton has a case study where a woman recalls helping newly 'birthed' sparks of the divine consciousness emerge. That person explained how these new bits of light were swaddled in energy by the soul that helped them but originally came from a great source of light. The source of light, she explained was a mystery. Is their any doubt why some Native American's call God "The Great Mystery"? In the Book Dancing the Dream by Jamie Sam's (a Cherokee Seer and Dreamer) she explains, "If you choose to embrace these paths, you will remember that before your birth, your spirit, your spark of life, was exhaled from the great Creator, the Great Mystery, God. That spark of life came from the Creator's fire of creation and was attached to an invisible thread of energy that sent you forth into the universe and animated the physical body you inhabit with life force." The confusing part in these origin myths, is where are they starting from? Are they starting from the story of the fall of Atlantis (as the Hopi seems to have done?) Or are they starting off at the very beginning when God became aware of himself such as in the case of Genesis or the Dogon Myth? Overwhelmingly, and far more convincingly then what I have presented here you will understand by listening to John Van Aucken's presentation that we are to be companions to the creator. This is one of the main things that differentiate us from the Angels who's will is the same of the Creator with no ability to be an individual. Jamie Sam's would call this the Eagle View of humanity on Earth. I hope you enjoyed it and that it brought you some illumination. In the next blog, we will look at the different names for Cycles of time, how a good deal of them do not end so well (which is mentioned in the Hopi creation story) and what this means as we seem to be coming to an end of a cycle but that doesn't need to be a negative thing. Especially, if somehow we have changed things in this cycle so that the destruction doesn't have to occur.
Sources
I have had conversations with people and they are curious where to go to learn the information that I talk about. This information tends to be Esoteric in nature, that is not many people seem to know about it. I have an inquisitive mind and I love listening to and reading books by interesting people. After trying to upload a huge post on the subject and it failing three times I have decided to break this information up. I will cover a couple of these sources at a time. Keep in mind that I have been reading and researching this information for about twenty years. Most people base what they know on the Mainstream Media and Television programming. I unplugged from the television back in 2007 and never went back. I do not look to other people to tell me information. I go out and I read or listen to everything I can find on a subject, with writers who stick to facts and inject as little opinion as possible. I try to find information from the original sources. Esoteric information, that exists on the fringe, is extremely imaginative and creative. I think that's what's driven me into finding studying this information. I like new ideas. Imagination has been so limited that I can't read the formulaic books most people read for entertainment. Discernment So, to help those who don't know how to find this information I'll give you the people that are the movers and shakers in this realm of thinking. However, I must give you a word of caution. If you get drawn into the negative people who jump at shadows it can be detrimental. The key thing is discernment of the energy of a person. You can tell who is uplifting, they leave you with a positive feeling. The ones who leave you feeling empty, hopeless, afraid and not knowing what to do...stop watching their videos. Talk Shows I Recommend I personally, do not go to a particular host and listen to everything they say or find all of their guests worthwhile. The hosts have to get guests into their interview seats so they don't necessarily always have people I find interesting or positive. I usually pick subject titles in the shows that I follow on YouTube and stay away from anything extremely negative (such as people talking about False Flag operations although it's an important idea I don't focus on that information because it could lead to paranoia). There are a few shows that I scan for guests or topics I find interesting. This is where discernment is really important. Any one of these shows go down negative paths of thought that I will not partake in on a daily basis. As I have said before, what you give attention and energy to grows. That which is negative, the belief that the Illuminati or negative energy beings/aliens control this world which is a prison planet in which we are all alien slaves.....well, I don't pay attention to it and I don't dwell on it! Instead, I focus on people who open the door to new ideas but also propose a solution. I will every now and then wonder into the negative zone, but I take a lot of time to purge that negative energy (listening to music, going for a walk, watching an uplifting movie, meditating) to replenish. Enter The Buzz Saw, The RIchie Allen Show and Caravan To Midnight with John B. Wells are all shows that I scan occasionally. I also follow Cost To Coast AM which does have some guests I find interesting but they are...a bit commercial so their shows don't go so deep and they limit their content.
 Edgar Cacye
By far and away the best one to read up on his Edgar Cacye. Edgar was known as the Sleeping Prophet. I first came across him when I read a book that belonged to my Grandfather Douglas McMasters. That book was America in Prophecy. I have no idea where that book has gone but it was absolutely fascinating and I really want to get a copy of it. The second place was in a dream book that apparently never existed (I have written about this previously). Edgar was what was called a trance medium. He actually had an infliction involving his throat. A hypnotist was consulted and stumbled upon something amazing when he put him under hypnosis. A lot of Edgar's work actually has to do with diagnosis, people would send in for a medical reading, and they didn't even have to be in the room. He would tune into the Akashic Record (think of the Universal Consciousness in the form of a library and all of us have a Book of Life in there where every action our soul has ever done is recorded) and he would give a diagnosis. His remedies absolutely helped people feel better and that is a lot of why he became famous. The Esoteric knowledge he provided in past life readings and questions about Atlantis, for example, are a very small percentage of the readings he did. He was a devout Christian and he had some very fascinating things to say about the life of Yeshua. He also talks about how Mind is the Builder (there is a youtube video on that so look it up bu ti's long and that thoughts are as real as a poke in the eye. These are all very important for the Shift topic I'll eventually tackle. I recommend that you check out the Edgar Cacye A.R.E. for more information.

John van Auken
John works for the Edgar Cacye A.R.E. He has his own teaching regarding the information around the soul and Egypt that I particularly love. His information is a combination of research of the Edgar Cacye readings and his own personal history. In particular, I find his story of the Involution of Spirit to the Earth to be of tremendous value. I highly recommend his books Ancient Egyptian Mysticism and 2038 The Great Pyramid Timeline Prophecy. I admit I have a fascination with Egypt and the Mayan cultures that I can't explain but he does have many other books then these two. One key thing John Van Auken says is that you must believe that the people that came before us, the people of ancient times, were wise and were intelligent and I think that's important. If you think our ancestors were idiots (who somehow built pyramids we couldn't make today) than there is no point in looking back.
 Michael Newton
The book that really changed my life and altered my perception of spirituality was the book Journey of Souls : Case Studies of Life Between Lives. Perhaps it's because I was so young that i could conceive what Michael Newton showed with his case studies. The fact that he started off as a skeptic. The work is amazing. I'll let the video I find speak for itself but I highly recommend the book.
Conclusion Part One
The story from these three sources really focus on the soul. I wanted to start off with these three because they focus on how we are Creator Souls in the image of the Creator (All-That-Is). There are various teachings that Edgar Cacye shared through his readings on other teachings and I'm always learning things. My foundation, is that in the Spirit World we are all equally learning so that we can be a companion to the Creator. What happens here on Earth was planned from the Spirit Side and the story was known when souls first started incarnating here. Later, we will get into the 'Ancient Alien Theory' that they might be the little 'gods' of the bible and that a lot of what became dogmatic religion was actually dealing with these beings that we thought were greater then us in antiquity. The important thing, to really have a firm foundation, we have to know that there is a spirit world that we experience between lives and that reincarnation doesn't really conflict with the Christian point of view. We have to really look at this aspect and realize this is the truth...that if people were being taken up into space (which the prophets thought was heaven) the stories of the bible make more sense...it doesn't mean there isn't a Creator and it doesn't invalidate all of our beliefs about where we go when we die. However, the spirit world might work a bit differently then traditional thought. Without this firm foundation that there is an immortal soul, that our bodies are just a temporary fleshy vehicle, and that our sojurn to Earth is just a small part of the multifaceted being...it is easy to give into paranoia. Further, when we become open to the idea that there is a group of people directing this world either intentionally or unintentionally in a negative way (such as the New World Order, or Illuminati) if we do not have this foundation of where and what the soul is we can become lost in a maze of pessimism. Knowing the story that we came here to experience limitation as souls is important. There is far more on this subject but this will start you off if you are willing to do your own homework. I will no doubt revisit this issue in later posts. |
