I've written eighteen blogs but in my heart this is perhaps the most important one.
For this blog I ask that you suspend the traditional way of thinking for the moment. We've been taught that there are people who 'have talent' and people who don't. That type of elitist thinking will not allow you to absorb this blog so if it comes into your mind practice the mediation of labeling that thought as unnecessary and...dismiss it. There is a concept that I have nurtured for a long time. I can't really explain it...it's the idea that one person can make all of the difference in human evolution. We have seen this multiple times throughout history. We have seen extraordinary people shift the tide of human thought. Sometimes, that shift doesn't take root during that person's life. Take for example most of the famous painters in history. When they were alive most of them were poor and struggled to get by but now we consider them the great men of art in history who influenced the development and direction of art. They shaped art as we know it and never knew the role they would play in the scope of human history. One person can effect a huge change. Why Try? Too often people are afraid to try and change things. They think that unless they can inspire an entire group of people it won't matter. Too often they sit down on the couch and just start consuming what the "doers" produce. If anything, the rise of franchise's of this era show that the doers are struggling to come up with original content and stories. In fact, it's almost as though inspiration is drying up for the legion of families that have been entertaining the United States since the invention of the moving pictures (i.e. movies). There is always that doubter, the ego, saying, "Why Try? Why Bother? You're not important." Too often we assign importance to those who've already 'made it.' Other people, we rationalize, will come up with the latest greatest things and we just shouldn't even bother to try. That's someone else's gifted existence. They're special and gifted and we are not. Yet, throughout history it is not the children of famous people or inventors who offered the most to society. In fact, those people for whom all of the necessary social connections are already made usually try to follow the same formula of their parents. This is kind of like academics, where a certain way is learned and then practiced and taught ad infinitum... The problem with legacies is that they never really break new ground. Only the fumbling idiots that exist outside of the paradigm can stumble into new territory...territory into which the people who study the formal idea of it would never attempt. Yet, that's not the only reason you really should stick your foot out there and share any ideas that you have with the world. The image below is of one person, an unknown person, who is forever scorched into the minds of people around the world. He stood in front of tanks for an idea. The power of one idea can catch fire and illuminate the minds of many throughout the world. No one knows what happened to that man. The Mandela Effect people remember him being run over (as I thought had happened) but it appears he may have survived. He might have been killed in jail or he could be living an ordinary life somewhere. Yet, this is an image scorched into the Collective Memory of Humankind.
A World Of Ideas
There was a moment on my spiritual seeking journey that really shocked me. This was just prior to meeting my husband in 2007. This is when I realized that what I had thought was a solid part of reality was just insubstantial subconscious agreements we had made. When this paradigm shift occurred for me...reality shifted entirely. Everything was the same but how I perceived it was utterly different. I had to laugh at the absurdity of it all. This was when I stopped watching television because I didn't want to buy into the ideas people were selling. Take the idea of Money. Paper Money has no inherent value. Our economic system is an imaginary...and exists only within the minds of human beings. The idea of paper money having value is something that we as human beings decided to agree to as a group. Yes, one could say that it was government dictated but it's been an evolution. The first form of currency was cows. Cows, needless to say, would be hard to carry in one's pocket and exchange for a latte. Human kind went through a series of ideas that eventually lead to our current economic system. That system is not, however, solid in any way shape or form. The people in the upper echelons of society know it's malability...that it's just a thought form. Basically, it's made up. Thus, the economic and monetary system can change at any time...with a single thought being held by a few human beings. Yes, it is really that fluid and, yes, we really are that powerful. The problem is that no one has had a popular idea for how to change that system for the better. Until a large group of people agree with the change it won't happen. Now, more than ever, since currency is mostly tracked through computers...it's more imaginative then ever before...and it has only as much value as we emotionally assign to it. Most people are subconsciously agreeing to this system because it's been taught as solid and unshakable when, in reality, it is not. Currency is an idea and...a thought. Thoughts are intangible...and fluid in nature. Ideas are capable of change at a moments notice. Idea's and thoughts can be changed in an instant if people are willing to change how they think. The thing is so many in our society are holding onto old ideas. They are holding onto the idea that life needs to be hard. They hold onto the ideas that we must "earn" this money through blood, sweat and tears. They want their thoughts to be frozen solid, immutable, instead of being fluid. The USA is involved in a lot of foreign wars because they don't want the money system to change. The entire reason we are in Syria has to do with this and our opposition to China and Russia. Currently, the American dollar has a lot of value in the economic market because it is being used as the currency in exchange for Oil. This is the only thing that has propped up the value of the dollar of the USA for a long time. We are not an economic exporter of goods anymore...and should the value of the dollar fail our lifestyle in the USA will go down the tubes...along with the careers of the politicians who allowed the value of the dollar decline. You see, Russia and China have started to talk about an alternative currency to the US dollar for oil and that would be tragic for our country...and Syria is a Russian ally. Here we are killing people for an intangible imagined idea. This is the power of ideas in our world...which only exist in our collective minds...but we act it as though it's as solid as a wall. Yet, even walls can be torn down with a little exertion. Humans have entirely made up every system that we have ever been a part of...all of it is in the mind. There is nothing solid to the economy, school system or government. Yes, we can see the results of this way of thinking but that is all...the rest of it exists purely in our minds. We've just made it really hard to change things...it has to reach and exist within many minds before humanity decides to shift gears. Society is as made up as a game of Candy Land. Just as children change or teach the rules as suits them...the adult world can be altered and changed. We've just been taught that these rules are necessary and solid as a means of our own survival by some of the greatest sales men that have ever existed. Would society de-evolve into chaos if these rules didn't exist? I don't think so because we have a natural tendency towards harmony. Few of us enjoy chaos. Each Person Is A Small Piece Of The Puzzle In a world that exists primarily based within the intangible mind that is entirely made up of ideas... each of us is an important piece of the puzzle. Each of us is a reflection of the One Source...we are one small portion of the whole. Only when each of us is sharing our one piece of information that we contain, our ideas, can humanity be a full reflection of the Source in its entirety. I will write a more in depth blog of this idea in the future. For now, just meditate on this idea. Each human being contains an important seed, a portion of the reflection of God/Source. If only a few people are sharing their ideas then the Whole cannot be perceived in its entirety. Without the Whole being perceived....humanity is never a complete reflection of Source/God. This is the power each of us have and why it is so important each shares. Reflected In Movies One of the reasons I loved X-Men Days of Future Past was the fact that the character's reflect how it is so important for each person to contribute. The character of Charles Xavier who had given up entirely on hope after the failure of the X-Men has to hope again in order to avoid a war that will destroy humanity. The character Mystique has to be prevented from killing another person for the first time. Here is one of the most beautiful scenes where the younger Xavier (James McAvoy) and his older self meet (Patrick Stewart) and I think it speaks for itself.
Fear of Rejection
This is something I'm currently exploring while reading the book A Course In Miracles. Now this is a book I would not have picked up or believed to be accurate in anyway nine years ago. Yet, it is so in alignment with what I've learned and know that it appears to be authentic teaching from Source. Most of us fear Judgement and Rejection by others. This is one of the reasons it's so hard for us to share. Too many fear that sharing will lead to suffering. This stems from the fact that we think we are Seperate from Source (I've talked about this topic here:) We have, in effect, by being here on Earth rejected Source and think that we are creating on our own. Having Rejected Source we then project what we disown onto all of the people around us who are also aspects of Source thinking they have separated from Source. As I've explained such a Separation is not possible but we perceive ourselves as being 'alone.' I will explore this idea when I write a post on Lucifer, which might just be a tale about our own 'fall' or perceived 'separation' from Source. Either way, out of the fear of our perceived Separation from Source we project our fears onto other people. Believing that we are Seperate and alone...Rejection is something we fear most even though it us who turned our backs on Source/God. One of the most fascinating aspects of this is that when it comes to Elements....Earth Represents Fear. This school that we are learning from here on Earth is that of Fear. In the Edgar Cacye cosmology each of the planets represented some form of learning. Off the top of my head I can remember Jupiter was the Group , Venus Love and Mercury Extremes. Apparently, Earth is Fear...so we are here to learn from Fear and it's greatest teaching is that it's an illusion. What does an immortal soul really need to Fear? Too many Fear God/Source but that's another topic entirely. Too many fear being rejected or being judged by God but that's just an illusion of Fear...and it's not possible because as God/Source created everything perfectly God/Source loves his perfect creation and would never destroy that which is perfect. Conclusion Our world appears to be a very dark place. The people walk about like zombies seeking something...but they don't know what they seek. They try to fill that vacuum created by the lack of a direct connection to Source with material objects, addictions, obsessions and other people. Most people just accept things as they appear to be and they work with what they think to be true. To start questioning the ideas we are told are so solid...to realize that they are merely ideas...and that we perceive the world though the glasses of beliefs that we carry in our hearts...is an amazing journey. Examining those beliefs and discarding those that aren't true is a long journey but very much worth it. Even if I start a small amount of people on that path I have served a greater purpose. I don't expect everyone to go along this path in this life and reach the fulfillment of being free of fear and suffering. I do hope that it starts a series of lives where they can attain it. I can only pray that I help people turn back to the light of the Natural Order and Source I was pushed to create my blog. I felt like everything I was discovering was useless if I didn't share it. I couldn't keep it to myself. I really didn't understand this push. Just like I didn't understand the push for doing a YouTube channel. Why is it so important that I mush share all of this with everyone else? Why do I put my neck on the line so that people can judge me? In the end I discovered their judgement is unimportant. The only judgement that matters is that of Source and Source doesn't judge. The only person who judges is the soul themselves. That might be hard to swallow but I'll write a blog on why that makes sense. In order to learn, A Course In Miracles states, one must teach. The two are intrinsically linked. We teach through our actions and choices in every day life. In the Edgar Cacye material there is a reading given to a young man who was having a lot of spiritual breakthroughs on his own. Cacye stopped in midst the reading and warned the man that if he did not share it with others he would be creating a heaven all of his own that would be lonely. This another great reason why I share my own Journey with others. Each of us have a unique perspective of Source/God. Bashar uses the idea of people sitting around a pot on a campfire. On the bowl are images that tell a story. In order to share the story each person describes the portion that they see. If one person remains silent that story cannot be told. That is how we are here, this reflection of Source/God...each of us see a different portion of Source and each of us must share that portion with the others so we can have the complete picture. Without that sharing the entirety of Source will not be perceived. Each person is that important. Without your contribution Humanity would not be Whole. You might not contribute through words but art, through a unique form of music like the Piano guys featured in the video below, a unique style of dance, inventions or a thousand other ways...but the important thing is sharing your ideas. What good is an idea if you keep it to yourself and don't share it with the world? Each and Every Person Is Important. When I meet people or see people performing in some way...I marvel at the beauty of All-That-Is/Source/God...because I just learned a little bit more about Source. In this way, every day life can be a celebration of what All-That-Is has created. I think every aspect of Creation is absolutely stunningly gorgeous and I am in awe that I am a small component of that Whole. As an Aspect of Creation, a reflection of Source/God...you're included in that stunningly goregeous creation that inspires awe.

I was really surprised when I watched the movie Moana.
Given my own personal inner understanding I probably saw it totally different from what other people saw. I really loved the movie and the story. I can see why many people, however, might not get it. So, I'm going to let you into my convoluted mind. You might not understand this until you read my blog on Multi-dimensional Oneness (http://bridgetkorns.weebly.com/blog/the-multi-dimensional-oneness). I see Moana as the story of an inner personal spiritual journey. Sure, this could just all be projection on my part...but myths always have a purpose and meaning. Given that Disney worked very closely with groups from the Pacific Islands to ensure their myths were told properly...well, they derived from Spiritual concepts and teaching didn't they? Chosen One Of The Ocean The ocean represents our subconscious and it's the mouth piece through which the soul, our connection to God, speaks. In many ways, Emotion is our intuition when it is being used properly. To turn the ocean into a safe place to swim we have to deal with all of our negative emotional baggage. Moana was chosen by the Ocean to restore the heart of the Goddess Te Feti as a child because she showed that she was curious and trusting. This means that she makes a friend of her subconscious through which Spirit works. She follows her intuition. Maui The inclusion of this God and how he was depicted blew my mind. They even call him the Trickster. We know the Trickster in other tales. Coyote of the Native Americans is the Trickster. In the Dogon myth it is the Pale Fox...Ogo. We also find that Maui is the one who stole fire from the Gods...the same tale as Pythagoras. I will go into how all of these tales are related and the startling perception I've had regarding these tales. He has tried to help humans because he was abandoned by his human parents. In the Christian mytho's the Trickster became the Devil. In modern parlance, this would be the Ego. One of my favorite parts is how Maui keeps telling Moana, "You're going to die mortal. Your going to die!" That is just like the Ego when you start looking into the spiritual path. The ego is also called the Great Accuser by John Van Auken. This is also related to the Snake in the Garden of Eden...which fell with humans and when fed with materialistic desires becomes a dragon. Moana learns how to work with Maui and how to get him to work with her to restore the Goddess Te Feti. In this way, she learns how to work with her ego and tame it...which is much like the concept of Turning The Mind Into An Ally, as Sakyon Mipham so aptly named his book. Ancestors I found it beautiful that the Ancestors played such an important role. She remembers who her people were before they stuck to the island. She finds they were journeyers who explored the ocean. Here, Maui (trickster, ego) played an important role where he pulled up the islands for the people to explore. Then, the Ocean (subconscious) would take the people to that new island for them to discover. That the ancestors showed up in visions showing Moana she was on the right path was fantastic and beautiful. The obvious symbolism of showing the son of the chief becoming a chief...and that the young chief passed that on to Moana...was beautiful. I also want to note that all of us are Journeyers. All of the people who incarnate on this planet are brave explorers. Just like anyone who investigates the story of the soul told through all of the difference sources...they get really excited when they realize this little island we call Earth is not all there is and we explored the heavens as souls. Talk to anyone who considers themselves a Star Seed (someone who incarnated on other planes/planets/dimensions before Earth) or Earth Angel (someone who incarnated who is normally an angel) and they'll know what I mean. Moana's Grandmother Tala This was another favorite part of mine. When her grandmother died, which was very gently done, with the glowing sting ray going forth from the beach I felt a jolt. Not only was it a loving and heartfelt symbolic scene but it was something I've never seen in a Disney movie. Obviously, this was reincarnation. Again, I was really surprised that there was reincarnation in the story and no one was opposed to it. I haven't looked too hard for criticisms of the movie so I don't know if Christians hated it but if there were ones who did...they were no where near my radar. If I don't hear about it I know there wasn't a big uproar because it takes a lot to get on my newsfeed. When something as minor as 'the dress' (remember the one that looked both blue/black or white/gold to people? To me it looked like both) or the Unicorn Frappucino at Starbucks... The Goddess Te Feti One of the most beautiful scenes is where Moana confronts the Lava Demon and discovers it is the Mother Goddess without her heart. Even more beautiful is that Te Feti, when she becomes the live giving Goddess again, looks like Moana. All of us have an inner goddess or god...we are of divine origin and are souls are made in the image of Source/God. This is that perfect moment when you realize the will of the one that you were trying to thwart or oppose thanks to Maui (ego) is the very Goddess you were trying to save. The heart of Te Feti in the movie is even green just as the heart chakra is depicted in the metaphysical teachings. The spiral of creation is carved into the stone. This ancient symbol has so much depth and meaning I won't even go into it but I think it's telling that Disney used it in the O of Moana's name. This is where it gets really interesting. The lava demon is actually Moana's darker side. This is the worldly path of self-full filling desire (represented by Maui (ego) stealing the heart for humanity). This path gives rise to the cycle of suffering death/rebirth. She speaks to the lava demon when she sees the spiral that's supposed to be on Te Feti on the Lava Demon and says, "I know your true name. I know your true nature." The lava goddess hearing this bows down to her and they touch their foreheads to one another. This is the closet they can come to an embrace. Then Moana places the green stone back into Te Feti who becomes the Life Giving Goddess again. This represents uniting the lower desires and the higher purposes together. Again, they touch foreheads to one another as an embrace. The Goddess then restores the balance giving Maui back his fishhook and Moana returns to her people who become voyagers again...no longer fearful of the ocean they begin exploring once more. This is what happens when we work on the higher spiritual path instead of focusing on the earthly desires. We learn how to reverse the flow of those lower four chakras to the upper chakras where we connect with the divine. Conclusion I don't think this movie spoke to most people because they couldn't relate. Most people understood Frozen perfectly. They realized how fear can cause us to freeze in pain and how love makes everything flow. I could go even more deeper and look at the coconut pirates as well as the crab symbolically. Yet, I'm pretty happy with this simple look. I'm happy that I haven't seen a tremendous Christian backlash to this movie. I would think that most fearful Christians would realize that Maui represents in the Polynesian culture the same character as the Devil. Yet, that hasn't happened. This movie is absolutely awesome. I admit, it's not as meaningful to me as Frozen...but it is defintely now number two on my favorite Disney movies list (Frozen, Moana, and The Little Mermaid). Weird, there is totally a trend with water there. That people can expand their minds to accept a children's story from what was once considered a 'primitive' culture is extremely encouraging and gives me hope for the future. Further, seeing the story of an inner spiritual journey so plainly laid out in a kids movie really gives me hope. Maybe the current generations doesn't understand what they are seeing but I believe it's a natural development as more people are awakened to their spiritual nature.
Earth Day
I've always loved Earth Day. I have always been a big fan of nature...hence why now I argue for the Natural Order. I loved learning about nature in schools on Earth Day. I loved the focus on the planet and coming up with ways to stop pollution...whether it's placing our trash in appropriate places or planting trees. Being more in tune and at one with nature is the purpose of Earth Day. To remind us that this precious blue marble floating in the infinity of space is a beautiful treasure. The March For Science I didn't think that anyone could steal the lime light or ruin the tree hugging holiday of Earth Day. Yet, this year, they did. I understand why people marched for Science on Earth Day. For some it was just the ability to say they stood up for something they believed in and to show how proactive they are in life by posting pictures of themselves holding signs on social media. I love each of you have done this but there is a reason I did not stand with you. I've watched enough of the fear based television programming that is driving the current narrative. I understand why they were motivated. Yet, I don't agree with the the television programs so I don't support the marches. They feel a need to act out of the name of science because funding has been cut by the government and there are those pesky 'climate change deniers.' They feel as though they need to defend the Science Establishment from Trump. I don't deny the climate is changing. I do question if it is disastrous for us and even the most ardent supporters don't think it's likely that we can reverse the trend but they hope to slow it down. As the melting ice reveals cultures that once lived in northern territories before the little Ice Age...I can't help but wonder if we've survived something similar before why we can't do it again. The fear based rhetoric is nonsense to me. Climate change aside. Why do people feel they need to defend that old paradigm? Should they? This is what we are going to cover today. The Media Narrative I have a different perspective to counter the widespread hysteria the media is offering when it comes to the state of science. Right now in human narration we are seeing this rather funny idea of old school religious thinking versus scientific reasoning. Those old republican savages who believe in religion are just going to make life on planet Earth so much worse! That's how things are being spun. That's not how I see things. I am not one to defend religions. I am encouraged more every day with the change in the way people are thinking. I love that peoples concept of the world is becoming more fluid and less concrete. I love that the consensus is getting mixed up and there are a variety of people believing a variety of things. I love that not one single group of people can dictate to the entire populace how to think. There are some trying, and they are trying to paint those who think differently than them as having mental disorders. What they don't realize is that old game has been played out already. People are tired of the fear based narratives and the self-service. Let's take a look at the evolution of the process of how and why the media can spin this into a debate between nonsensical religious believers business owners versus scientific academics who want socialism. Why can I offer this perspective? I am not emotionally involved. I am neither pro-science nor pro-religion. The people who are Marching think their survival is at stake. The Climate Change Denying religious people feel the same. I'm sorry, both categories of people are immortal beings that will not die with their physical body. You clearly think you only have one life to live and it's vastly important to the cosmos that you get it right. That is not my perspective. Yes, yes, the survival Earth of Momma Earth is vastly important. Yet, science is what has killed her these past two hundred years more than anything man could do prior. Hunter/gatherers sand even domesticated farmers didn't do all that much damage. Scientists and the worship of money have created strip mines and oil pipelines. The worship of warfare and controlling other people through fear created Atomic bombs and Hydrogen weapons. While marching in the name of Science you say that it will preserve the Earth but I see only how it has been misused to harm her. Science is the one that created the cars we drive and the factories that are polluting the atmosphere. Mother Earth will survive without us...she might shrug all of us off of her one day because we are a nuisance. The survival of our species is insignificant in her life span...she has seen the coming and going of many species. Undoubtedly, she will see many more before she joins with the son. Living on her is a right that we have abused and the worst was through the misuse of Science. Who in their right mind thinks that Science will be able to save this Planet?
Science Won't Save The Planet
I think it's wonderful you want to save the planet. I find it fascinating you think that Science that has destroyed it on a ruthless unimaginable scale will save the planet. I put the clip from Moana here because that is how I see Science. I do not see it as the mythical hero replacing the Heart of Te Feti. I see it more like Maui who stole the heart to try and help please people...but it resulted in the abuse of the Earth. The planet will continue to exist with or without us for millennia until it joins with the sun. Society does need to change it's thinking, and little by little it is... Yet, there is no purpose in continuing to fund useless Science funded by an aristocratic group of university academics who look down their nose at the rest of us as intellectual peasants unworthy of participating in the conversation. Only our money is of value to them...but they do not earn in it by trying to serve us and make our life easier. They misuse it in useless pursuits and destructive ideas. Our lives will become better when we stop trying to manipulate and re-create the cosmos in the name of Science. For all of it's study of Nature Sceicnce remains unaware of the Natural Order. Science tries to control Nature, to manipulate and destroy her in the image of men who have no respect for the beauty of the Natural Order. Without the belief that there is a Rhyme and Reason for creation they seek to undo what has been done and make it in their own warped image. This is the limitation and the travesty Science has become due to distorted logic. To stand for Science as it is today is to stand for more Hydrogen Bombs being made. More naming of remote animals that should just be left alone to thrive instead of being pictured in the pages of a magazine born from the trees that once sheltered their species. The History that Contributes to Confusion Surely, you have been taught this...but not in this context, Once upon a time an Empire came to be that sought to control of it's people through Religion. No one could question that Religion and it's Dogma without threatening the Empire. The Empire was built on belief and it was necessary that anyone who questioned those beliefs died. Freedom of Thought and Freedom of Speech were not allowed. This held back the sciences. In fact, in name of this religion scientists were burned at the stake for heresay. The scientists have not forgotten this treatment. When that Empire fell they divorced themselves from the concepts of that ideology that had held them in bondage and killed too many of their kind. Due to the disastrous intellectual poverty that the religious control of thought had caused Science made a quiet pact. They would not delve into the mysteries that those who believed in religion possessed and religion would no longer seek to control Science. They were to leave the explaination of God to the religious but could explore any manner of other explanations for the cosmos. Therefore, the idea of one Source of all life was forever banned from the Scientific way of thinking. To be a Scientist to believe and seek confirmation of a Source/God/All-That-Is was not allowed. Any Scientist who dared to do so would be mocked, ridiculed and tossed out of the elite academic society it became... Science and Spirit were not to be mixed for fear of such a terrible atrocity arising again... For many, as Science provided the miracle of technology Religion became nullified. Anyone who believed in those old mysteries were backwards in their thinking. What had religion done but cause suffering? The only thing that Science kept from the Religious ideology was that man is superior to the rest of creation. The only idea they kept is that we have the right to make the rest of creation into our own image because it is here to serve us. They took the most egotistical part of religion and got rid of the rest. The Religious became the savages that must be exterminated. Science offered ease and the potential to offer more leisure time so people could pursue more intellectual ideas. They also put people out of work because they created machines to do the work of people. They changed how much food we could grow producing mega crops. Of course, that Empire was Rome. The Mechanical Cosmos View Of Science The paradigm of the human being is changing. The Mechanical World point of view put forth and worshiped by Science has failed to explain a lot in the last 200 years. They have polluted our air and created bombs that have killed millions. Yes, it has produced some practical, beneficial and tangible results. The problem is that people are starting to realize that it hasn't explained the big questions. After 200 years of waiting human patience is running thin. Anyone looking at Phsycis realizes that it is a soft abstract science much as psychology...with lots of theories and ideas but nothing that can be proven...and so it requires belief in the intangible. In fact, they are so bent on not using God as an explanation that a whole bunch of them are convinced that we all live in a simulation run/ruled by a Computer. Never mind that man created the concept of computer and that the idea requires a Creator of some sort...but the idea that they exist within a mindless unconscious computer run simulation is far easier for them to swallow then the idea of The Source. Then again, they say the brain is a biological computer (cognitive psychology, anyone?). Yet, for the last 200 years science has taught that we must only believe in the tangible and so, in many ways, the modern study of physics is a contradiction to their argument of superiority over religion. All it took was for it to be leaked that NASA often photoshops their pictures of star systems and other planets and the idea of a Flat Earth took root. When people can't see it for themselves easily...it remains just an abstract idea within the mind that can be perceived differently if one chooses. Sure, technology has come a long way. The greatest achievements have been due to the demand of the consumers regarding practical tangible science and not by scientific curiosity. This isn't a mistake. Science has failed to explain the secrets of the universe and mankind has finally woken up to this fact. They can't explain how the brain creates consciousness (because it does not). With their current mechanical paradigm they can't explain how matter is formed (Einstein referred to one part of physics as 'spooky action at a distance'). The fact is Science can't explain the most important fundamental questions about life without go into intangible areas. Science became a religion the moment it started delving more into theories based on math then on tangible results. Once it became more about abstract ideas that people can't verify on their own...it went into the realm of belief. Useful Science Comes Out of Demand The Government has financed a lot of dead end useless studies. This simply does not make sense. While it has funded the lifestyles of a lot of scientists over the last 200 years... without producing results that make the citizens of the United States life's better...why should we pay for it? I hate to say it, but all of the useful knowledge has come from consumer demand. All of the good science comes from business (and the business model lacking compassion is a big issue with humanity today but that's a topic for another blog). Even the scientific medical industry has become more focused on business and making money then it is on actually healing people. We could look at our cell phone as a success created by science. Yet, it wasn't purely because of science that the cell phone and technology has rapidly progressed. These people weren't philosophically studying something without any meaningful contribution to the life of the human being. Technology has been entirely driven by human demand because it makes life easier. Technology is a useful application of Science and therefore finds ample investors. That's the truth, when Science can be used to help humanity people will come out of the wood work to support the project. People will exchange their labor for that product. Even in the idea stage if it is an idea that will be popular that many people will find value in...it will find funding in the private market. Knowing the mating ritual of a random beetle does not enrich the human experience. Yes, it might be exciting to some random person who finds beetles fascinating but it does not enrich the entire collective of humanity. Useful science is funded naturally, not through government taxes, but by society. Our current way of funding such things is through investments and the vehicle of the business model. Although that vehicle is a bit flawed with it's focus on repeat customers and unsustainable growth...it does drive innovation. You Invest In Ideas You Like In our subjective reality everything we perceive is based on the ideas we like. We choose what is created by how we spend our money. Government paid studies do nothing for innovation or the scientists would be able to secure funding through private enterprise and investors. I cannot think of one government funded program that has resulted in a tangible product we use that was not originally created for the military. Here we see the demand for innovation at work as the government is the buyer of the tangible result of the experiment. Notice how funding for military applications have not been cut. Nor is anyone protesting that science is being used in that way. Conclusion Government should have no influence on Science and should not Fund it. Meditating on the insanity of these marches really caused me to realize something profound. Some people want to continue to pay for useless studies that do nothing. They want to continue to fund a scientific aristocracy that does not offer meaningful contributions to humanity. The value of useful scientific information is shown by people willingly paying for it and investors wanting to fund the scientists. If someone really loves their scientific pursuit they will find a way to make them useful to others in order to fund their research. Meanwhile, no one notices or cares if we continue to pay for useful studies that contribute to the death of thousands. (Albeit, military scientific funding has resulted in useful non-lethal innovations being released to the public such as the internet). No one cares that Science when applied correctly could teach us how to learn to live within and magnify the Natural Order if they let go of the dogma they have created. If humanity let go of the idea that we are superior to all of Nature and need to bend it to our will...Science could do amazing things. As many in the scientific community have embraced Occam's Razor...that when there exists two explanations for an occurrence it is the simpler reason is better. A Source, not a computer simulation, is the simplest idea ever put forward as to what is creating everything in the cosmos. Science is at the point with physics where it is making a lot of assumptions to defend itself against the idea of a Source or All-That-IS creating everything. If these two belief systems- that of science and spirituality- become interwoven again and applied in a positive way not to control humanity but to benefit humanity... Well...we will leap forward in a way no one can dream. We are on that precipice. So, don't mourn or fight the change...embrace it and hope that it is the dawning of a new paradigm that is not limited by fear. The fear that man can destroy this world is pure folly because you think that we are more powerful then the rest of creation. This is an error in logic. Explore those new ideas and realize that reality is not as solid as you think. Let's end the battle to the death between Science and Religion...for they actually confirm each other and do not nullify one another as we have been taught. This is an old idea born from pain and suffering in our history that we need to let go. On this Earth Day my prayer is simple. My prayer and my hope is that we take that step where we realize that we are in service to creating with the Natural Order and Source...to preserve and revive this beautiful world we call Earth. Below is just a beautiful musical composition that captures how I feel about this entire subject entitled Red Sorrow by Audiomachine.
I have been seeing and celebrating more female characters in movies. A lot of the big head lining movies this year have strong female leads. Selene in Underworld, Alice in Resident Evil, Wonder Woman, Ghost In A Shell with Major, Rey in Star Wars...lead villains such as in The Mummy, and little girl leads in Woverine, Transformers, and in Split. There is a lot of strong feminine energy in the movies this year.
I find it interesting that female characters are judged so harshly. Things are getting better but even when reviewing it they have names for female character's that are good at things (Mary Janes) and seem to have it too easy. They have names for character's that need to be rescued (damsels in distress). They don't do this with male character's at all. If everything comes to a male character naturally or easily it's not questioned. This ties in with the concept of the Return of Goddess in a lot of ways. There are some meta-physical people who believe that we are returning to the Goddess based on these trends. That the Goddess is coming back into the world...and they talk about how we were originally a matriarchy. I agree that there evidence of Goddess worship that predates the worship of a male God. However, I really disagree with everything else that the people furthering this idea are proposing. I just want to share my meditations on the subject because I think it's very important. Here is a video with the typical argument/point of view on the return of the Goddess. Androgynous Source What makes the most sense to me is that Source is neither male or female. This is why I prefer to call "it" Source or All-That-IS as opposed to God/Goddess. I realize that this isn't quite in popular culture, yet, but I think we are getting there. An idea that I agree with is that Source/God is neither male or female. This suggests that both the concept of male/female reside within that force...it is both and neither. Heck, you can call it "The Force," because that is equally representative of Source (although, it would be one aspect of the trinity but that's a deeper discussion). From this perspective, there is no reason for a 'Goddess' to return. Source is neither feminine or masculine in nature...there are, clearly, aspects of it that is but it exists outside of our dualistic reality. The Feminist View I reject the feminist view of the Goddess. The person in the video that I shared echoes this point of view. They seem to dwell on the idea that at some point thew world will return a matriarchal religious point of view of Earth is better then a patriarchal form. Further, some seem to think that those who choose to believe in a patriarchal point of view should be punished. I don't think any of this is important. Yes, bad things have been done to women in the name of Abrhamic religions. We can't go back and change them. We can change how we act in the future and if women do the same unto men that was done unto women int he past...they cycle will just repeat. That would show that no one learned anything. There have been Gods and Goddesses since time immemorial. This reflects the duel nature of our material world where we have the choice to embody the energy of one or the other sex...or both if we so wish. There is no superiority. There is no matriarchal mother Goddess who is going to come in an obliterate the God of Abraham. I don't think that is necessary. I don't think any reparation is necessary. Why would we trade one system that is exactly the same for the system we already have besides the gender of Source? Women acting as men doesn't help this process...and it certainly won't help if they misuse their force to overcome the 'power' of men. In this way, they would not be working with the feminine energy but work more with the male by misusing willpower. Source isn't male or female...both are misunderstandings in the first place. All this does is make me think of this Star Wars Quote from The Force Awakens...
Finding A Balance
I see society as struggling to find a natural balance between the male and female energy. That's what we really need in this world is Balance. That way there can be the proper blending instead of lurching from one extreme to another. This is happening because there has been a imbalance with the male/patriarchal energy being stronger in the world. The active willful self-serving nature of man has been dominate. The compassionate giving energy of the feminine is very much needed. Yes, the point of view is shifting...right now female character's are dominant. This is necessary so equilibrium can be adjusted appropriately. I never thought that it would change so dramatically. I dreamed of this when I was a little girl. There was even a female super hero Barrista! Talk about amazing! Hawk Girl was featured on Flash as a barrista...which made me so extremely happy! I see this in the expression of Drag Queens and of Gay men who embrace their feminine side. Maybe they don't do so in a conscious manner but that is what they are exploring in an extreme manner (which isn't usually that healthy). The same goes with the metro-sexual movement. Women just weren't being listened to so...a lot of men who were a little bit of both had to give the shift a little bit more energy but literally embodying the feminine energy in male form. Anima and Animus Carl Jung understood the balance the best. He explained that each person has both a feminine and a male side. In order to be complete the two have to be in perfect union. He called the feminine aspect in men the Anima. He called the male aspect in women the Animus. (http://www.carl-jung.net/animus.html). I will let you explore this topic on your own. I add that the mysterious male figures that women usually dream of and the mysterious female figures men dream of...are the Animus and Anima. These tend to reperesent our Higher Selves in our dreams. Until we we unite both the person will naturally be out of balance psychologically. We need the compassion and the love of the Anima in order to be a better person. We need the strength and will power of the Animus to protect ourselves from being taken advantage of in day to day life. The key is finding a balance between male and female...to embody the energy of both. To unite them in a spiritual way so that we are not feeling one way or another. This doesn't involve our mate in life, although, they can help teach us more about how to embody the opposite energy. I have found this balance by doing a few jobs that I was told only men were capable. I did them and I did them better than most men. I saw women come in and pretend to be weak so that they were given everything but I earned every ounce of respect and money with blood, sweat, toil and tears. I have a very strong balance of both my Anima and Animus energy. I can tap into whichever I need at the moment in a very fluid manner. I am comfortable with both energies...I am assertive when I need to establish my boundaries so that I am not exploited by others but I am compassionate and merciful with each person I encounter. Understanding The Goddess Concept I am not an expert nor have I delved too deeply into the topic. The first thing to understand that there is a trinity with Goddesses as well....there is the Maiden, The Mother and the Crone. Any Goddess tends to represent one of these concepts. The Goddess is seen as one but she has three aspects. Laird Scranton has placed the timing of the switch between the Matriarchal Religion and the Patriarchal Religion. At one point the Dogon Grainary was Matriarchal with the base a circle and a square at the top. Men tend to be represented by the square and women by the circle. However, the Buddhist stupa is the opposite with a square base and circular top. The reversal somehow happened between the time the Dogon belief system started and that of the Buddhist. In fact, the Dogon God's name, Amma, sounds decidedly feminine in origin....although, they will be quick to say Amma is neither. Little Girl and The Beast I could say that the Little Girl standing up to the Beast theme I've described before (http://bridgetkorns.weebly.com/blog/the-beast-part-1) represents the Goddess. In this form it would be the maiden. I see it as the energy of compassion standing up to the system we have created that lacks compassion. All of humanity This is where society is at...We have a system that was created to satisfy Ego and insists on the misuse of willpower. We as a society are dealing with the Sacral Chakra needs. Here we are being judged for what we have sown and reaped. This is where there is a reconciling...where we need to find a balance so that we can release all of this fear we have created because of our misuse of willpower. This happens when people try to force their intentions on others. The only way to really fix the issue is compassion and mercy. Will people give in to fear acting on impulse to force others to do what they believe is best? This seems to be what's driving the terrorists and the people seeking extreme Government Regulations through socialism. These people want to control everyone else. This is the biggest fear of most people...an elite group that thinks they no better than everyone else ruling the world. We've experienced it before with the Pope in Rome where witches were executed because it threatened the government and religion...do we need to experience this lesson again? The other way to go is to submit to the Natural Order of the Source choosing love, harmony and beauty. A system free of human meddling/will power seems to be the best course...where no one person has power over others. The world does not need one ruler...not someone "standing in" for Jesus (the Pope) or anyone else. We don't need a government that acts as the worlds police man. Fear is the only thing that causes people to arm themselves and attack others. For this to happen a transformation will have to take place. The people's perception of government must change. Elected officials- from the president down to the most lowly DMV employee- would be simply seen as administrative offices meant to maintain the infastructure. They wouldn't be given power...nor would they hold it. They would be thrown in jail if they accepted any gifts or forms of payment from corporations or other governments. Oligopolies, of course, would have to be destroyed. All executive boards would be shut down. Each company would return to a single owners. The Stock Market would only be used as a tool to invest for a temporary growth spurt and companies would be made to leave when they reached market saturation. Owners of companies would be put into jail if their company did something that hurt people putting personal responsibility back into play in the economic market. The focus would switch from this unsustainable need for extraordinary growth...to sustainability and making sure each task a company undertakes is weighed against the need of humanity and the cost to the environment. What will happen, I'm not sure but I can see this re-balancing of the male/female forces and the choice between those two paths being the major choice offered to society at this time. These are the first steps...as we return to compassion and mercy. I'm not sure if all of this is going to play out to some conclusion in my life but I am hopeful. Conclusion Believing that every male has a female counterpart only seems natural. That is how balance in this universe is maintained. Every galaxy circles a black hole which can be seen as female in nature. Every solar system circles a sun which can be seen as male in nature. There is a very delicate balance. The return of the Goddess which does seem to be reflected throughout the world does not suggest one will dominate the other. Neither does it actually symbolize a physical Goddess. This is just an adjustment of the energy so that there is both the ability stand up for oneself and to be compassionate. We are at a point where society is seeing blatantly the two options. Do we give in to Fear, regulate everything, and force our will onto others in an unnatural way? Will we repeat that lesson? Do we choose harmony, patience and accept each person is responsible to bear their own burden they have created by their choices in life? Do we realize that everyone equal on every level....that on the level of Source we are all One? Will we cast out the idea of superiority or elite? I see a balance being restored that has been off for thousands of years. Perhaps, we had to experience the Goddess first and then the God in order to have a taste of both so we could balance the two modes energies on a Group Conscious level. The rhyme and reason does not matter. Ultimately, anything in the extreme is not healthy. Everything that I am attracted to in my reality seems to point to choosing a healthy balance of the two. I think the choice has been made. This is represented by the feminine energy being represented so predominantly and the demand for it by the public. I don't think, however, that this energy will 'return women to superiority'...but instead teach us that no one is superior to the other. We are all here togther and it's better to work together in a conscientiousness group oriented point of view because it's simply easier. Each person expresses that collective energy in a different way, so that it cannot be dictated by any one person or group, but allowed to express itself in whatever way it most desires. This is the Natural Order...playing to each members strength so that the group (pack) grows stronger as a result. Watching it play out and settle will be interesting. For some, the idea is so foreign and frightening to them that they thought the following music video was satanic. P.S. An interesting note as I watched Slegdehammer by Rihanna. I was thinking while I was making the unicorn frappucino that had a mix of bright pink and blue colors...how odd I see this everywhere. I'm naturally attracted to the pink and blue effects that make purple where the two mingle. The Edgar Cacye A.R.E. has it at the start of their videos, the Ron Paul Liberty Report has it at the start of his show...this color scheme of the male (blue) and female (pink) mingling (purple) is becoming very prevalent. Animaniacs Live! Review I'm going to start off by reviewing the show much as a critic would. Then, if you wish, you can read my response to the entire experience. Due to the wild successes of the Animaniac's cartoon on Netflix and an explosion of new requests on their twitter feeds the main creators and character's of the Animanaic's show put together this little ensemble. The show proved to be so popular that it sold out and they added another showing that also sold out. The show featured mostly Randy Rogel and voice actor of Yakko, Rob Paulson. These two had amazing chemistry and performed most of the first act. During the show they explain that Randy was the writer of most of the songs on Animaniacs. Prior to working on the show he worked on the music for Batman the Animated Series. He is a composer, singer, and songwriter. He sings most of Dot's songs. Ron Pauslon is pretty amazing entertainer as well. He sings all of his songs and does Yakko's voice for a good portion of the show. Near the end of the first act Jes Harnell showed up to proclaim how awesome he is and how the Animaniacs cartoon allowed him to buy a house down the street from William Shatner. He was dressed in a sequined crushed red velvet suit that would make an elderly Elvis jealous. He performed a small number of songs and each time he stepped on stage he was in a different monstrosity of an outfit straight out of Elvis's Vegas wardrobe (and did a couple of impressions of Elvis including doing an impersonation of Elvis's voice in one of the songs). He did some impersonations (mostly the Beatles which is how he figured out how Wakko's voice). Tress MacNeille was in the show the least. Performing in only three numbers...and really only speaking her parts. She did not talk about herself or reminisce with the others about the show. She required a script for each portion including singing the main theme at the end of the show. I now understand why she mostly does support voice work and why Dot wasn't really featured too much in the Animaniac's cartoon. While her voice work is amazing she has little else to offer. Overall, this show was pure fan service. This was like watching a directors cut of the cartoon where you learn all of the details of how it was created and the inspiration. The animation, it turns out, was entirely done over seas and took nine months to get back. I highly recommend this show for some extreme fan of Animaniac's who would want to see the voice actors and the original songwriter/singer/composer for the show perform the most well known numbers. For anyone who is looking for original content or a real in depth experience...this show missed the mark. With the repeated gag of giving each other a dollar each time they said something nice about the other...it lacked depth. The Experience
I really hated the experience. I know, I just said I recommend it to extreme fans. I, however, have always been someone who had a love/hate relationship for the show. At times it had wit...and it seemed intellectual. I liked the interesting take on history and the arts. Yet, there was always an under current I could not identify that I did not like. With the full Hollywood ego's of the creators center stage at this show, however, I figured out exactly what I hated about the show. Now I can see little else. As I commented to my husband Ross at the start of the show, when I was looking at the Animaniac's headline image which I had at the start of this blog and before this section...MAN is the part that is most prominant. I asked him, "Is this the way Alien's see humankind?" Well, if the alien is the typical egotistical "artist" from Hollywood...Yes...yes it is....if it were actual aliens they would think that we are a waste of time to save. Animaniacs is all about the the things that humanity isn't good at...all of the negative stuff blown out of proportion and mocked. There is no redeeming qualities to the character's at all who are all very selfish and egotistical. I have always known that Animaniac's was mostly satire. I knew that it poked fun and made fun of humankind. The element I never understood was all of the Hollywood references (as I am very bad at remembering actor or actresses names...and I've interacted with a lot of celebrities in my life and I've never been impressed...I see them as equals.) Now that I know it was Hollywood elites picking on people they know and name dropping it is even less funny. Maybe it's because my husband is a singer/songwriter/composer. Maybe it's because I can draw and write easily. I've known plenty who could do different voices and impressions of famous people. Nothing I saw on that stage was truly remarkable to me or something I could not attain. I'm simply not the type to be star struck. That is the part that I hate about Animaniac's...the condescending judgement on the rest of humanity from the point of view of a consummate Hollywood elite. They know they are talented and they want to be worshiped for it. That show could have been so profound...it was a step away from being a thought provoking production. Yet, ego kept it at the level where it was more self-gratification and adulation for the people who made it from the audience. Also, the show- for me- was simply too much stimulus. The crowd that had come to witness the performance was fascinating enough. The performers were fascinating. The music was jarring and lacked eloquence. I had gone expecting to enjoy watching an Orchestra performance. I had dressed appropriately along with my husband and in-laws who bought the tickets. In the parking lot I was made painfully aware my outfit was inappropriate. A woman getting out of the car across from me stared at me openly and commented that we were dressed nicely. She was wearing jeans and a dirty screen printed t-shirt with unkempt hair. Already, I felt out of place. When I saw the majority of the people who were attending the show were also jeans and screen printed shirts I realized I was very much out of place. As the first segment titled, "Get A Life," started featuring an overweight guy overthinking the cartoon I felt even more alien. Here were all of these overweight people resembling that character laughing along. and, apparently, not realizing they were the very super fans the segment was mocking? I really felt out of place as I didn't think it was all that funny. Already having realized the Aninmaniac's was created to mock humanity the songs they chose...many of which were lists of countries (including an updated lyric for the countries that have emerged since the show first aired), states and the stars...cemented the idea. Following the "Get A Life" segment two songs really brought the realization home that most of these super fans really didn't get what they were taking in...even though the shows creator stated, "When we started we assumed you were smart enough to 'get it.'" Then he played a song where he implied that human beings are insignificant. No one said a thing during this but were enraptured by the song which was really well done...although it kept a frantic pace. I thought, well maybe there will be a plot or moral to this show...but nope. The following song, to balance out the other, Randy Rogel explained, was a song about how everyone is special and unique. This one had the crowd going nuts and pointing to themselves. I was a bit dumbfounded. As Randy Rogel performed a song about war (all of the invasions that ever occurred) followed by one on the spice trade...I felt immeasurably sad. By the second act the people around me had drank enough alcohol that they were roaring drunk. One person to my left and just behind me in the balcony area where we were seated proceeded to say, "Ha ha," in a very cutting high pitched voice after each sentence the creators/voices actors of the show spoke. This was highly distracting and rude. Naturally, he was over weight, wearing a screen printed shirt that barely hid his ample belly...and was clueless to the satire that mocked him. Mostly, I left the show saddened by humanity. I was saddened by the Hollywood elite that mocked and entertained their clueless audience. I was saddened that war and history could be so reduced to...not merely show the insanity of it...but make it seem as though it was a perfectly natural state of being. I was saddened the entire audience was so enamored with these celebrities that they didn't realize what they were witnessing...but just laughing along. I couldn't name what I hated most about the show when I first left. I had to meditate on it a bit. There were so many aspects to it that I found unpleasant and sickened my stomach. I can't judge people if they enjoy being mocked or perhaps they feel they are the elite and it is the reflection they have of humanity. I don't know what those people were thinking...if they were thinking at all. So many find it easy to look down and hate others...never realizing they are judging their own reflection as obsolete...and it only shows the depth of the their own depravity and lack of all of the things that make humans so beautiful. That was what was missing from the show...both the cartoon and on the stage. The beauty of humanity...the celebration of the amazing stuff humans are capable of doing. The song about how unique everyone was just shallow...the entire show was just so shallow....stretching to be something intelligent but just lacking the depth of perspective to really clinch it. Finding myself surrounded by people that stunk, who were over weight, and drunk...laughing and mocking others that they find beneath them while not realizing they are being mocked as well...and openly admiring the ones mocking them for their 'talent'.... Well, I was sickened and if I never watch Animaniac's again I'll be a happy camper. I'm sorry that I ever watched it and supported such a ugly mocking construct of self-gratifying human ego perspective on humanity. (The Picture above of Mercury was retrieved from the Nasa.gov website). This is going to be a simple blog but it's just timely. I have many other blogs but this one really needed to be written today. I don't know about you guys but this is one of the strongest Mercury Retrogrades I've ever experienced since I've been aware of this phenomenon. Tons of customers and even fellow employees feel as I do...as though we just ran into a brink wall. Getting motivated can be difficult during this time as well as communication going awry. The retrograde started on the 9th and it is going to last until May 3rd. What is Mercury Retrograde? Mercury Retrograde is when the planet, Mercury, goes backward in the sky. Yes, it is astrology. The ancients were more in tune with the cycles and rhythms of the universe. They saw that Mercury, thought of as the Messenger of the Gods, and took note of it. Sure, we could take the Mechanical Universe point of view and say those are just rocks circling the sun just as our rock does. Other then a gentle gravitational pull that helps the balance of the solar system it doesn't do much. If you believe that all of life comes from One Source and it's all connected it makes sense that the cycles would be meaningful. Cycles We know that women's cycles are in sync with the moon. In fact, the word Lunatic is associated with the moon and even though some have tried to debunk it...it's generally accepted that when the moon is full people behave strangely...the police have crazier nights and it's busier in the E.R.'s. If the moon can cause such cycles why not Mercury? In fact, if there is such a think as a rhyme and reason to the cosmos being created as they are...is it possible that Mercury is in tune with all of us and it's a reflection of cycles on Earth? What It Represents You might see a lot of negative stuff about Mercury Retrogrades if you look it up on the net. Most astrologers pooh-pooh this natural cycle. They say don't sign contracts, don't communicate....all of that will be awry. However, two enlightened beings Victor Oddo and Laura Lee Soloman have pointed out that it's actually a very beneficial cycle. The low energy is contemplative in it's nature during the Mercury retrograde. Usually, we are rushing ahead with things...going full throttle. In March I was so inspired I wrote over twelve blogs. That's crazy for me. I sat down and wrote four a day for a bit. If we went full throttle crazy productive for a long time we would burn out fast. During Mercury Retrograde we can go back and revise things. We take time to reset, relax and recover from the crazy intense busy energy that we were experiencing. When Mercury is in Retrograde it's not a time to start new projects. You can plan projects to launch when the energy is better...but it's a great time to go back and revise and make previous projects better. The energy is really one of nurturing...taking time out to nurture yourself and anything you've been investing time in recently. Don't expect accomplish a lot but really focus on enjoying what you've already done. Conclusion Although I have low energy I'm enjoying this Mercury Retrograde. A week ago I was buzzing with so much energy that it seemed overwhelming. Now, I am placid and calm. I needed this time to rest. I'm taking time to revise, research and expand the blogs I've already wrote. I'm also contemplating how to go about making the YouTube channel I'll probably launch in July. What is really interesting is a lot of people are being affected by this Mercury Retrograde. I'm amazed by the amount of people who know about it and know the negative impression that it's been given by astrologers. I'm also surprised by the amount of people who are interested in learning more about it which is why I wrote this blog. If we release that fear and we see how it can positively impact our lives we can just start to work with the natural cycles. Again, going with the flow and rhythm of the natural innate order that emanates from All-That-Is (God). The reason for the cycle is obvious. We can't always be in a period of expansive growth (despite businesses, corporate or Wall street's illogical philosophies). We need to take time to regroup, refresh and plant the seeds of the future. That's what this cycle is all about..so, my advice is to try and work with the energy of the next two week sand not against it. The God Mercury His name may be derived from the word Merchant. He was the messenger of the God's and represented finance. He is considered to be the peer to Hermes in the Greek myth and Thoth in Egypt. He carries the Caduceus as a magic wand. He is considered the boundary keeper between heaven and Earth. Accompanied by a Rooster (symbolizing new day) and Goat (fertility). This particular statue was made by Flemish artist Artus Quelliness.
I remember hearing this song in the nineties. Back then I was more of a purely dogmatic Christian frame of mind. I would envision encountering Jesus on a bus for example. To me it was a novelty and extension of the entire "What would Jesus do?" mindset. I think I still have one of those bracelets somewhere.
I have clearly stated before that I don't believe the Pope in Rome has no more authority then we do to reach out to God/Source in communication. In fact, most of us are communicating with God every day but we don't see it that way. We have a chance every day to change the way that God/Source experiences itself....through others. I will say that Recovering Catholics have an edge on some people in grasping what I am writing because it is a very inclusive perspective on Christianity (which is why the Christian church moved away from that ideology when it splintered). This idea, now that I look back, was completely misinformed and missed the mark. I guess when you get so focused on the idea that only select people are worthy of knowing god, that the rest of us are meant to be followers...it is easy to view God as embodied in the flesh outside of oneself. The idea that there is some sort of elite special hierarchical group never made sense to me. All of creation is equal in God's eyes. Whether you're a rocket scientist or a junkie...God loves each equally. What I've come to understand, as I attempted to explain in my Multidimensional Oneness blog, is that each person is the embodiment of an individual aspect of God. When you think of an eternal being how else would it discover itself? Yet, do we treat all of the people we meet in life as thought they are God? Most of us have spent so much time hating people that...we don't really see the authentic them. I had a woman tell me she hates people. She hates customer service. She can't see how I can have such a positive attitude. That hurts to hear, I remember how that feels. This week so many people said they wish they could have my positive loving upbeat personality. My heart breaks because I know they can. Does this mean that we should let other people do whatever they want with us? No. Let's go deeper into a meditation on this subject. Lofty Expectations We have such lofty expectations of what someone working with Spirit should act or behave. We have lifted the people who seemed to embody source to such lofty levels we don't feel we can achieve them. Yet, we are naturally embodying God...usually we just push all of it to the subconscious and our soul operates from that level. In order to really embrace the paradigm I currently have (I do not claim to be right) it is important to let go of those expectations. Saintly behavior is not human. It's a fictional bedtime story we created for ourselves to justify not being able to unite with God/All-That-Is in our every day lives. Being a saint is just too much work. Therefore it must be a God-Given characteristic that people are simply born with just like those pesky kids who seem to be born knowing how to paint like a master or write orchestras. Yet, the real work is in our every day interactions. Our moment to moment decisions in the now. This is how we find God in every person that we meet from the person on the bus stop to the person preaching in Church. Each is a divine spark of the One/Source/God and as such they carry the seed of God within them. Interacting With God "Hello, welcome to Fast Food Central. My name is Amanda, can I take your order?" What do you think when you hear this at your local fast food restaurant? You are probably judging the person by their job. Obviously, to have this job they must not have a degree. They are a failure of some sort that they have a minimum wage job serving fast food to people. Even a robot could do their job. They don't deserve a decent wage because only college kids should have that job. Adults shouldn't work at a Fast Food Restaurant. Just think of all of the judgement you just passed in a few moments. You probably even treat them like a robot. You hand over your money without words and without making eye contact. You collect your food from the next window and drive off without ever making any human contact. Yet, you just interacted with many aspects of God just and judged a part of God unworthy of your time. You ignored them...perhaps even of existing. God/Source decided to make that individual. Who are you to question their worthiness of existence? You skipped over any lesson they might have given you. You missed the opportunity to learn more about yourself. You missed the opportunity to make their day a little bit brighter...to restore their faith in humanity. Learning More About Yourself How do you work with knowing that everyone is a part of you? Every person you meet, every perspective you consider, you learn a little bit more about All-That-Is...or God. They are your mirrors. If they trigger you...you know that's something YOU need to work on. Not them. You have the ability to interact with God every day. You have the ability to breath, to blow, on that little spark within other people...so that they too can experience the light of beauty, truth and love through growth. That aspect of God you are interacting with might be completely asleep to the fact that it is a part of God. If they are they are probably experiencing deep loneliness, isolation and suffering even if they are surrounded by other people. They are wounded individuals. They might as well have their heads wrapped in bandages. You have the opportunity to give them a taste of the divine in full knowledge of itself...an opportunity to show them a different path that they can take. We all slip and fall in this journey. If we have incredibly un-human like expectations of what God is in this material reality we will surely be disappointed if we go looking for it out in this world. I'm sure if you met Buddha, Jesus or Mohammad you would not immediately know they were channels of the divine. Every social interaction is like going to school. You have the opportunity to learn more about yourself by those you meet. The way the divine matrix of collective thought works causes people you need to come to you. Each brings you the gift of opportunity, knowledge of God and the opportunity to grow. If you are closed down to social interaction you might not even realize the opportunity. Every person has a unique perspective, but their journey always has aspects that you can relate to...and through understanding how someone related differently with a particular obstacle you can learn more about yourself. This requires a certain authenticity on your part- the ability to shine a light on your shadow side that you might not like. Inevitably, in these other people you will be shown your shadow side and weaknesses. These will be your trials and until you deal with the aspect in you that is like them...these types of people will continue to enter your life until you learnt he lesson. Once you learn the lesson their ability to affect you is greatly diminished...and their attempts at unsettling you might be laughable. In fact, more then likely they will become uncomfortable around you and decide to take their leave for a more...compatible environment. This is where you start looking at situations as opportunities to measure your creativity and patience. You go home and you meditate on the social interaction that upset you. (Again, meditation is just placing your mind on a subject). You explore why it hurt, did it bring up memories from your past (possibly even past life memories)? Identify the pain, lean into it and explore it and you will learn far more than any IQ or Personality Test can ever teach you. Every Interaction Is A Test Every person is a test, a test to see if you really get the concept that they are One with God with you...that you are the same being. Did you treat that person with Hate? Then you must hate yourself on some level. Did you treat that person who was so mean to you with love, patience and compassion? Then you have learned to have those with yourself. Here we also find, "You reap what you sow," to be a great example of how this works. If you hate yourself you will only find people who hate you. If you love yourself you will find your tribe...what ever inner state you carry will be reflected by those people you meet. What about when you're having a blissful day and you find someone who is just striking out in anger because they've had a terrible day? Learn how to listen to them. By listening you will diffuse the time bomb that they are carrying on the inside. Sometimes they won't open up. Sometimes they will explode even startling themselves. At the very least, you held out a hand to let them know you cared...and that moment of compassion can completely change them. You never know if they were suicidal and you just saved their life. That was an opportunity and a test where the universe questions, "Do you really understand? Do you really see this as a part of you...the part that once had a bad day like this...to redeem it by acting as you wished someone had acted towards you? Don't Carry Other Peoples Burdens If you are like me and really love people you might feel tempted to carry other persons burdens. You hear where they are in life and you try to 'fix' the situation. This is a huge disservice to others. After all Jesus said, "Take my yoke upon you, for my yoke is easy and my burden is light." He never said he's taking your burden from you. He never said he'd take the yoke you created from your shoulders. (You can see my previous blog regarding the yoke/burden/work here: http://bridgetkorns.weebly.com/blog/april-03rd-2017). NO, he says to take his yoke..his paradigm (perspective) upon yourself...and set aside that which you have created throughout this life and perhaps prior lives. We do not take the burdens from or take the yoke from others...because then they will never learn their lessons. This is why it is such an unnatural idea that the State should provide everything for it's citizens. This is why God doesn't provide all of the answers to us if we do not seek them through our own persnoal inner work...because we never learn through application if someone does the work for us. This is why taking on another's burdens is the greatest travesty...it is a disservice to you and a disservice to them. When you do your child's homework for them do they learn? No. So stop misusing your willpower and trying to change everyone else in your life...stop trying to make the mirror smile. Take their unique individual expression at this moment into consideration. Thank the universe you got to see the way God/Source is expressed through them...and move on if it carries no discernible message for you in your life. Care A long time ago, as I have explained before, I decided the buck stops here. So often, we isolate ourselves from others and say their troubles are not ours. We don't stop to help someone up from the ground if they fall...because they might sue us. Such is the convoluted paradoxical world of projection we live in... Yet, so many people are craving someone to care. The other day there was a woman in the store where I was working coughing. I heard her cough. I knew that cough from my own experience. She needed water. She was on the phone and going around in confused circles. She wasn't going anywhere, unable to meet her own needs because she needed water but she didn't know what to do about it. I filled up a glass of water and took it to her. "I see that you need this," I told her in a whisper because I knew she was on the phone. She drank the water and stopped walking in circles. Later she stood by the door of my department with tears in her eyes, "I wanted to give you this," she said offering me a dollar bill. I put the dollar bill in my communal tip box after saying thank you. Then I gave her a big hug and said I was happy I could help her. That little bit of compassion had impacted her day tremendously. I didn't expect anything in exchange. The truth is when people encounter true compassion they naturally want to offer something in return. The difference I have made that have created an abundance is my life...is the choice to take that responsibility. The choice I have made that when I see another human suffering- another spark of the divine- I respond to that suffering. I say, "I see you, I am here to be of service if I may. You are not alone." Sometimes, the simple words, "I understand," to validate another persons feelings or emotions can also shift their entire perspective of the universe. Conclusion We have the opportunity to interact with God/Source every day. That's one of the reasons the song song, "What if God was one of us?" became so popular. On a deep subconscious level we know that he is and that we are all God. How we treat even the most nominal person in our society is how we treat ourselves and, in essence, God. Yet, we have to practice discernment because there are people who will give off the image of falsely being poor or destitute in the desire to benefit themselves. That's where knowing not to carry another's burden comes into play. You are not obligated to give the person who looks like a poor pan handler money out of your pocket...and it doesn't make you a good person to give to those who appear obviously destitute. Jesus rebuked those who made a big deal about giving to charity in his time...because if you do it just to earn praise it is not genuine compassion. Further, many people manipulate people to give them money. The real test is all of the subtle social interactions. Every morning we interact with our spouse or children. We interact with the Mother Earth even if we don't go out and interact with other human beings. Do you sing to your plants? Do you love them as you water them? These too are emanations of the Source/God...he took time to create them too. Either way, you have a choice in every interaction. Even when they don't come to you and you see them suffering you have a choice. Most people in our society do not know how to ask for help. Do you choose to be the one that makes that difference? Sometimes it can be an ungrateful position. People will take your kindness for granted. Yet, every attempt is worth it because on rare occasions you might save or alter someones life. I have given advice that led to someone getting into a college they never considered. I responded to a man who had a seizure and his life was saved. I can go to sleep assured I have done the work to make this world a better place for all of us to the best of my ability at the moment given the resources I have. Choose to be the difference. Choose compassion. Choose love. Choose paitience...practice it with every single person you meet. That way next time you hear, "Hello welcome to Latte Heaven, my name is Lilith, what can I get started for you today?" You realize God just offered to make you the best drink you've had in your life. Think of every person you meet as a flower...you can choose to water that flower. The flower might be parched near death and not give a sign of appreciation...if it is healthier it will respond by blooming with a beautiful smile. You might be surprised how often that person returns to you simply to experience what they do not have. The choice is yours in every interaction. May you see and Honor God/Source in each person you meet. The Mystery of Skara Brae Book Review I picked up The Mystery of Skara Brae Neolithic Scotland and the Origins of Egypt by Laird Scranton because I had read Point of Origin: Gobekli Tepe and the Spiritual Matrix for the Worlds Cosmologies. I really loved that book and I was expecting further investigations into this fascinating core cosmology that Scranton has uncovered. This book was simply amazing and represents Laird's best writing to date. Laird Scranton takes us on an adventure where investigates the mysterious remote archaeological site in Scotland known as Skara Brae. Each of his books is an adventure where we uncover what appears to be universal symbols in many cultures (Chinese, Tibetan, African, Egyptian, Gobekli Tepe Turkey, and now Scottish) with the same underlying principals. Astonishingly, each of these describe how the very fabric of our reality is created. Thanks to the preservation of the Dogon tradition, Scranton explains that he was given all of the answers to uncover this ancient cosmology and recognize in through linguistic means and symbolism in other cultures. As a computer programmer he was trained in understanding computer language left behind by others. Such programmers write code in a way that those who follow can interpret the intentions of what they wrote. Thanks to this background he is uniquely qualified to find these encoded meanings and provide ample proof that his correlations are correct. What Laird Scranton does is compare ancient cosmologies (belief systems) of different groups. He started with the Dogon cosmology in Africa, found connections between the pronunciations of words in Egyp as well as correlations with hieroglyphics. He has since gone through various other cultures including Hindu, Buddhism, etc. My favorite part is when he goes through different stone monuments and constructions on the site of Skara Brae and links them to the ancient concept of cosmology that he has identified. That cosmology is the same that symbolizes the formation of matter. He makes a convincing argument that the very houses of the mysterious ancient civilization of Skara Brae are almost identical to the Dogon. The only exception is that in these colder northern lands the structures have the addition of a fire pit. While this book focuses mostly on structures, as the inhabitants of Skara Brae did not leave behind any writing, it ties in perfectly with his previous work. The monuments that they left behind fit in perfectly and are not random. These books are not airy fairy spirituality. The cosmology that Laird Scranton has discovered is firmly grounded in science. This is the strongest and best aspect of his books. They are based on sound logic and science. His work is of astonishing importance to anyone fascinated with Ancient Cultures and the knowledge our ancestors had in antiquity. What was the purpose of our ancestors knowing how matter is formed? Why is this mysterious cosmology so important it was preserved in so many cultures through their stone structures and ultra conserved words or symbols? Were they waiting until mankind reached the level of knowledge we have now achieved or was there some other purpose? This, as all of the best books do, will leave you with more question't then answers. Yet, it will leave you with the undeniable impression that our ancient ancestors all over the world knew more then our cutting edge Sciences have discovered about the nature of our reality. You can buy this book on Amazon.com or at any major book retailer including Barnes & Noble.
Hello Readers!
I posted my blog yesterday, one of my personal favorites to write and definitely one of my foundation beliefs. Today, when I normally posted I felt led to do a little personal update. I know that we have covered some weighty topics so I decided a something a bit more light-hearted would be beneficial. We have a bit more of those weighty blogs to go that I have already written. Yet, it's very important in all of this to keep a light hearted approach and retain a sense of child like wonder. Experiencing A Healing As I mentioned before I had a healing done at the Learning Light Center in Anaheim by a woman named Asif (I do not remember her last name). That healing was amazing! I have noticed that I am very sensitive to energy. The previous healing I'd experienced was in a period just after having surgery to remove my Gallbladder. I could feel everything but I wasn't too sure if that was because I was on pain killers and it was all in my head. This time around I had nothing in my system at all (I'm straight edge and anti-drug. I used to drink but I have no tolerance for it anymore because meditation gives me a better buzz without negative consequences). I could feel this healer literally pulling the darker energy out of my aura. She was standing about a foot away from me near the end. I could feel strings that she was adjusting and then pulling out of my energy field. I have been aware of my immense energy field thanks to a meditation I did to connect with Faeries when I was eighteen. That was when I received my first Oracle...The Faeries Oracle by Brian Froud (my favorite artist). The meditation was written by Jessica Macbeth. Surprisingly, the healer picked up on the Faery energy. The Faeries introduced themselves to her by showing her butterfly wings (my two personal symbols). The photo I shared at the start of this is my little Faery area next to my laptop. The energies of the room insisted I created this little shrine and it brings a huge amount of peace to me as I write. When we were finished, as I was stumbling a bit from the healing (she grounded my energy which is always tough. I usually far more heavy although my energy felt clearer. The Faery's explained that they have been with me always. That they have crowned me and that there is a triangle shaped area around my third eye. They said that I am their queen and that when I take on other peoples negative energies it effects them. I have felt this energetic crown for many years in meditation. I never knew what it was or where it came from. Having that sort of validation really moved my heart. Apparently, I let go a lot of negative energy from my heart chakra. As I have been moving the energy up and out of my lower three chakras I felt a bit of a blockage where I just couldn't let some go so...this healing was perfect. Truly it was an amazing experience and now I know why there are always so many orbs around me. I have also had a couple experiences with the faeries but I will cover that in another blog. Synchronicity The trip to the Learning Light Center was very random. I had promised my mom I would go in April. Yet, I didn't take the time off. A friend at work needed the day off. I didn't even know for certain until the day before that I was going to have Saturday off (the Psychic Fair is the second Saturday of every month). My mom asked me to come down. Strangely, there has been Lady Bugs showing up as signs. First, there was this random Lady Bug in my yard...all by itself. I thought it was a piece of red paper. I bent down and saw it was a Lady Bug. I've always loved Lady Bugs. As a kid I would sit with a stick and watch them crawl over it or my hands for hours. I haven't seen one in the yard since then. Then, on Friday, as I was contemplating going to the Learning Light Center that night a customer came into my work. There was a Lady Bug next to the Cash Register. We are a bit close to the door but the chances of that happening was so low it was amazing. The woman, like me, had a love for all life and took the lady bug outside. I knew that it was meant for me to go to the Learning Light Center. Movie and Book Reviews I started doing movies and book reviews for several reasons. Mostly I wanted to share my favorite books that have been some of the sources for validation for my own internal process of Awakening or Seeking. I have been neglecting these book and movie reviews because I've been so inspired to write on specific topics. Currently I have two months worth of blogs already written. I have many more blogs on specific topics I want to write as the inspiration doesn't seem to be waning but instead waxing (a.k.a. moon reference for growth). As such, I will strive to start posting movie and book reviews every Wednesday. YouTube Videos This is a bit of an announcement and a way to assure I don't back out. I will start making YouTube videos in July on a channel. I am thinking of calling it Mystic Butterfly. At first I will post a video once a week as editing videos will be somewhat new (I have very limited experience). The videos will be on topics that i have already covered in this blog. I'm not sure what structure I will follow. When we were at the Learning Light Center we went for a reading with a Psychic Named Nick. He picked up on on my desire to do this and told me that it will be fantastic. He was a little bitter because, "Some people have all of the luck." I started this blog in response to all of the negative mystic/spiritual information that I found online. There was so much of it that I realized there needed to be a more positive source of information for Seekers. However, this blog reaches very few. Most people, these days, prefer short videos. I was watching Reflections, an Edgar Cacye show on YouTube, with Peter Woodbury. He made a comment that really resonated with me. Where are all of the strong female speakers? Well, I knew right then that was my calling. That it was time that I stop being afraid of being judged and step out. I am not fearful of being judged as I was before I started this Blog. The one strong female voice I feel doing this is relatively negative and offers advice that I do not resonate with at all. Someone does need to step out and be that counterpart. The wider audience is daunting and speaking and having my image on the screen is going to be interesting. A big reason I want to do the YouTube video's are for people like my mother. She can't read very well and she has no time to read blogs. I tell her the essence of what I say in the blogs but it's poorly translated in a broken up phone conversation. In a way, the blogs will be for her and for everyone else. I don't know if I'll enable comments and I don't know if I'll put my personal name to it. I'm a bit indecisive on that point. I will be speaking to my open minded friends about it. Reviewing the Past As I learn more and I begin integrating the spiritual energy that I am in contact with (my own higher self/ soul) I have started to look at my past with new eyes. I may review some of that in this blog with all of you. In particular I'm going back, today, and reviewing the dreams I had a year ago. They were amazing dreams. I didn't understand them at the time but they make more sense to me now. In fact, many of the things I experienced seemed strange to me but I have since found reflections of them in other mystics work and studies. I'm not sure if these people have just studied them or if they have experienced them but it has all clicked recently. Something Nick, the psychic, said was that there would be a fusion. He believed it was between me and my mom. He kind of shook his head as though he wasn't certain of it...I don't think it was my mom he was tuning in with but my Higher Self which as been indicated in dreams. As I do the work with the YouTube video's I'm sure more and more of my essence will come through. Conclusion I've been on a wonderful and beautiful journey since I was eighteen. I think that path has come to a point where it is meant to be shared with a wide audience. I'm going to share a video from the Theosophical Society by William Meader. He makes some excellent points about the stage humanity is in...and the Great Awakening. I remember when The Force Awakens came out. That little teaser..."Have you felt it? There has been an awakening....the Dark and the Light." I felt shocked because the Awakening has been talked about in metaphysics for a bit...but for it to enter the mainstream...wow! Here is the trailer if you don't remember it! (https://youtu.be/erLk59H86ww) Yes, I know some people will go...but that's just fantasy...movies are not related to reality. They are a reflection of reality. They say the west coast is about a decade ahead of the East Coast when it comes to fashions and trends. Hollywood tends to be on the leading edge. Yet, just look at the groups I'm following. Victor Oddo's channel went from a few hundred to 29k. His Awakening Group has grown to over 5,000 and the other group I'm a part of Parallel Realities/Laws of Vibration's is also at 5000. That's a huge Awakening. I can see it on the internet. You can find information on a wide variety of topics that were simply not there before and there are teachers coming out of the wood work. The time is ripe for this Awakening and a lot of souls are ready! Part of this Awakening definitely has a feminine energy. This is the year of Female Movies. In some rolse they are Protagonists and in some they are Villains but mega huge feminine presence when it comes to movies this year. That energy carries deep compassion which we will definitely need in the future (and is the one area where we really need to focus on globally). This is so exciting despite the media proclaiming it is World War III. The media is extremely out of touch with what is really occurring within humanity. These souls that are awakening do not need to go through another war. William Meader called it the Burning Ground...a time before an expansion. In his book 2038 John Van Auken explains that the Kings Tomb in the Great Pyramid shows a period of Great Contraction (Burning Ground) and Expansion in human experience. The good news is hopefully in 21 more years this Burning Ground/Expansion Yoyo will end and the New Age will really kick into gear. Not that it's going to be all honey and light then but it's like the birth pangs of a woman in labor that we are experiencing as a collective at this time. We are experiencing the re-birth of the human race where we examine our social constructs that are not serving the collective and fix them. This includes spiritual thought and I am honored to help in this function. This is a marvelous time to be alive! I hope you enjoy the two videos below... One is Wlliam Meader talking about the Awakening. The video is from 2009 and it's short but really captures the essence of it. Here is the longer video that I watched (). I'm also going to throw in a song by Fly Leaf Called Arise that's been stuck in my head the last few days. I think it fits perfectly and of course as I went to embed it saw that it had been viewed 1,111 times. Anyone who is familiar with the 11:11 phenomenon knows of that synchronicity. I apologize that I did not post as I usually do on Friday. I had the opportunity to visit the Learning Light Center for their Easter Psychic Fair. I experienced a wonderful healing, bought a Lapis Lazuli pendant and some organic honey. I'm posting this a day early and this week will start posting Book Reviews on Wednesdays. My backlog of already written posts are growing so large that I've been neglecting that aspect of my blog. This is one of the most complex and abstract subjects that I have come across. I credit Laird Scranton's books on the Dogon and Daryl Anka's Channeling of Bashar for helping me to conceive of this concept. Once I was able to wrap my mind around this concept a lot of metaphysical teachings became very clear. How is it possible that we are one with God yet an individuality? I have come to accept this concept on a deep level as the Rabbit Dream that I explained back in January indicates (http://bridgetkorns.weebly.com/blog/bunny-dream-interpertation). There is Only One There is only one being here. There is only Source/ All-That-IS. That we are separate is an illusion created by Time and Space. We all exist within a collective of thought. The reason Earth is so special is that we can so quickly create and explore our own individuality on this planet. By not being in direct contact with Collective Thought (Source) we are able to experience and develop our own individual energetic pattern. Then we can retain this when we are on the other side of the veil. Character's In A Book Metaphor To best understand this we can think of God as the greatest Author ever. Think of your favorite fantasy book or movie. Let's look at Star Wars...Luke, Leia, Han, Darth Vader and Chewie are all aspects of George Lucas. Are these the multiple personalities of George? Is he really split into all of these different characters? Yet, through his movies he explored the human condition through these characters...like little avatars in his personal universe. You can apply this to any author and any author will tell you that yes...these character's we create start off as a reflection of ourselves. We experience life through them, we gaze through their eyes based on their unique circumstances and experiences...and then at some point they become reflexive characters that we can tune into but have their own individual personality that is so much more than than what we originally assigned. Just look at Anne Rice and how she talks about the character Lestat, that he breathes in her ear and is very much alive for her...yet, one with her. This is, from my limited perspective, is what God/Source/All-That-IS is doing with us on Earth. We start off as aspects or abstract concepts. Leia started off as just a Princess who's world is destroyed but by the time we come to episode eight she is a multidimensional character that is so much than that first description George Lucas wrote and even evolved so that other people wrote about her. Imagine creating your own world and then realizing that it actually exists. If I were to magically walk through a door and appear in Merosis it would be amazing because I would know all of them are aspects of myself, yet, separate and compete individuals. To me that would be just as amazing as walking into the Star Wars universe. This is how there can be One but Many at the same time. Shards of the Same Mirror This metaphor comes straight from Daryl Anka channeling a being named Willa. He explained that her book was named, "Shards of a Broken Mirror." Meditating on that is when I really understood the metaphor. Think of God/Source as being on one side of the mirror contemplating his own reflection. The reflection is completely shattered showing different fragments of the divine's image. Some are parts of this chin, some are parts of his ankle...etc. Each individual is a broken shard of that mirror. We each reflect back a different aspect of Source/God. Yet, are the reflections of the shards in the mirror really separate from God/Source? No, they are but reflections and perspectives of the Whole but they are inherently one and they are all reflections of the One Source. Different Aspects of God Interacting When working with my dream's, after reading Kevin Todeschi's Book (Dream Interpenetration Made Easy) I realized every character that I interacted with represented an aspect of myself that I needed to work on...then I had a huge epiphany. They say every person that enters your life presents a lesson. I realized that this is how it works dreams. Every character you encounter in those dreams are a part of yourself. I realized that this meant that all of the people I'm interacting with in the waking world are aspects of the Divine. They work in a perfect harmony and unison so I am faced with different lessons I need to learn. Sometimes, I'm faced with something in myself that I don't like so I try to reject the other person. In other cases, I'm just present to show some very lost beings a different way of living. Maybe they take it to heart and start living that way or maybe they don't. Yet, if I do not role model proper behavior (as all natural leaders do...there is never a do as I say but not as I do in a genuine leader) they might never have the possibility of waking up to the idea that they have another way they could live...and they could make better choices. Through this perspective I realized that every time I interact with a human being I am interacting with a part of God/Source. Each is their own unique aspect of the Creator but they are just as valid expressions as I am This and That This is another concept taught by Bashar channeled by Daryl Anka. How can we be individuals and yet one with God? We can be both because this realm is just a reflection of Spirit. We were given Free Will so we could become companions to God/Source, which was lonely. I think we can all relate to that in some way. Yet, nothing can exist outside of Source/God. That is a bit of a paradox but it does make sense that when we cross over (a.k.a. die) we actually return to that energy and that collective mind. We only really experience that sense of separation when we are in the flesh. Some go through some terrible side effects because the sense separation and lonesome is painful. Yet, that's how we develop our own distinguishable individuality. That's why we build here, in this physical realm, our individuality by exploring what we consist of and measuring ourselves against obstacles. We learn more about ourselves in the realm of opposites and separation because we learn what we do and don't like. We test ourselves. Hall of Mirrors The people you draw into your life reflect you. The people you drew into your life five years ago or even a year ago might have been totally different from you today. That's why there is usually a constant cycle of friends leaving and friends arriving in your life. Life is fluid. Nothing is meant to be stagnant and remain the same and a lot of people are like stones unwilling to budge. The few people who are fluid and flexible enough to remain a friend as you develop are worth their weight in gold If you absolutely hate everyone that is around you...there should be alarm bells ringing in your head...because this shows that you hate yourself. We are working within a hall of mirrors...there is only one person here. Every person we meet is our self reflected back to ourselves. Let's go back to my author metaphor for God. To George Lucas, Han was his rebellious side. Luke was his more sensitive caring aspect. We know those characters come from the same person...the same Author...and we know they need each other. We see Han being taught by Luke that there is more to the Universe...that the Force exists. We watch as Luke grows into manhood because of Han's influence. This is how two aspects of the same being can learn from each other. I will go more deeply into my blog titled 'Seeing God In Others.' Conclusion This is a simple and sweet concept yet it is so fundamental. In Egyptian Mysticisim John Van Auken explains in Ancient Egyptian Mysticisim, "Before the creation the Egyptian God Nun (or nu) was all there was...the God Atum was self-created and began the creation within himself...Also, in the book of the Dead the "self created" God is asked, "Who is this?" and she answers: 'It is Ra who created names for his members and these came into being in the form of the God's who are in the following of Ra.' This is the reference to the beginning of Soul-Groups, each following in or reflecting the first cause or impulse that brought them into being. Those conceived int he following of Ra are of the same soul group and would have similar goals and perspectives on life... From out of the un-manifested God came God the Creator (Self-created). God the Creator conceived co-creators, or the godlings. From out of them came "the Millions." The Original Great Creator then gave souls to "the millions. The plan is very simple: Whoever magnifies the Creator's qualities, the creator magnifies them. Its an interrelated network of Oneness and Manyness, of Wholeness in which separateness may coexist. The ultimate gold is to subdue one's sense of separateness by magnifying the Creator's wholeness, thereby becoming one with the Whole whole knowing oneself to be oneself. " Just today, Laird Scranton shared a post on Facebook explaining one of the concepts he's studying, "In Buddhism, Purusa is the name given to masculine energy that comes together with feminine energy, Prakriti, to catalyze material creation. Adrian Snodgrass describes the Buddhist personification of the concept of Purusa as "the first form of the supreme Brahman" who "knows divisions and thinks himself composed of parts." A likely ancient Egyptian counterpart to the term is given by Budge as the word pursh, meaning "to separate". [see Budge, p. 235a]" Another poster explained that the same concept of Pakriti and Purusha. Again, we find the unmanifested unchanging feminine Goddess (Parkriti) and the manifesting God (Purusha). Here is an article on the Buddhist concept (http://www.hinduwebsite.com/hinduism/essays/the-true-meaning-of-prakriti.asp). My point here is that we find this in every tradition. We find the same concept in Adam and Eve...first there was just God and then he created Adam and Eve in spirit. As John Van Auken points out there are two points where Adam are Eve are created. First, they were created in Spirit and then they were created in flesh. For me, when I see the same story told over and over in many different religions it becomes apparent this teaching is from the Original Religion that so many claim was given to us from supernatural sources. While I am not in any place to say what that source was I think a valid argument has been created that it exists. |
