One of my most popular YouTube video's I posted this video was a ton of fun to make. I really enjoy talking about how the Self-Fulfilling Prophecy that psychology recongnizes is the same as the Law of Attraction. For spiritual people interested in the topic this is a bit of revelation. That a concept they see as a bit Woowoo is documented is huge. This really shows that we create our our perception of reality by such as as the Self-Fulfilling Prophecy.
In this video I explain how beliefs create what we perceive. If we belive in ghosts, as a friend of mine said, we will see ghosts. What we set in our mind is very powerful. All of the information that we perceive of the world around us gets filtered through our beliefs.
This is the big boy. I've been working up to this subject with everything I've done so far. This is one of my Foundational Ideas finally made into video. Now that I have some established references I can go back to I can go forward with the more complex subjects. This one is by far one of the most important concepts I ever grasped coming from a combination of my Spiritual Seeking and the culmination of my education in Psychology. Plus it depicts my original artwork, "Trapped In My World."
What Does The Future Hold? I will be covering more Foundational Concepts and more of the fun/weird topics like numerical sequences and a buch of other topics I've covered in this blog. Aiming for short videos is a bit of a challenge because it limits how much I can present at once but I think the small bite size bits of information and being able to watch the video's in the order in which people wish is really good. A lot of people might not want to see the videos in the order I made them. More then likely mike next video is going to be on Discernment, followed by explaining how the economy is an intangible construct we have made and how that can empower us, and that will probably be followed by a video of Redefining Abundance. The inspiration is just not stopping and the sheer amount of topics I want to discuss and share is staggering.

I've written eighteen blogs but in my heart this is perhaps the most important one.
For this blog I ask that you suspend the traditional way of thinking for the moment. We've been taught that there are people who 'have talent' and people who don't. That type of elitist thinking will not allow you to absorb this blog so if it comes into your mind practice the mediation of labeling that thought as unnecessary and...dismiss it. There is a concept that I have nurtured for a long time. I can't really explain it...it's the idea that one person can make all of the difference in human evolution. We have seen this multiple times throughout history. We have seen extraordinary people shift the tide of human thought. Sometimes, that shift doesn't take root during that person's life. Take for example most of the famous painters in history. When they were alive most of them were poor and struggled to get by but now we consider them the great men of art in history who influenced the development and direction of art. They shaped art as we know it and never knew the role they would play in the scope of human history. One person can effect a huge change. Why Try? Too often people are afraid to try and change things. They think that unless they can inspire an entire group of people it won't matter. Too often they sit down on the couch and just start consuming what the "doers" produce. If anything, the rise of franchise's of this era show that the doers are struggling to come up with original content and stories. In fact, it's almost as though inspiration is drying up for the legion of families that have been entertaining the United States since the invention of the moving pictures (i.e. movies). There is always that doubter, the ego, saying, "Why Try? Why Bother? You're not important." Too often we assign importance to those who've already 'made it.' Other people, we rationalize, will come up with the latest greatest things and we just shouldn't even bother to try. That's someone else's gifted existence. They're special and gifted and we are not. Yet, throughout history it is not the children of famous people or inventors who offered the most to society. In fact, those people for whom all of the necessary social connections are already made usually try to follow the same formula of their parents. This is kind of like academics, where a certain way is learned and then practiced and taught ad infinitum... The problem with legacies is that they never really break new ground. Only the fumbling idiots that exist outside of the paradigm can stumble into new territory...territory into which the people who study the formal idea of it would never attempt. Yet, that's not the only reason you really should stick your foot out there and share any ideas that you have with the world. The image below is of one person, an unknown person, who is forever scorched into the minds of people around the world. He stood in front of tanks for an idea. The power of one idea can catch fire and illuminate the minds of many throughout the world. No one knows what happened to that man. The Mandela Effect people remember him being run over (as I thought had happened) but it appears he may have survived. He might have been killed in jail or he could be living an ordinary life somewhere. Yet, this is an image scorched into the Collective Memory of Humankind.
A World Of Ideas
There was a moment on my spiritual seeking journey that really shocked me. This was just prior to meeting my husband in 2007. This is when I realized that what I had thought was a solid part of reality was just insubstantial subconscious agreements we had made. When this paradigm shift occurred for me...reality shifted entirely. Everything was the same but how I perceived it was utterly different. I had to laugh at the absurdity of it all. This was when I stopped watching television because I didn't want to buy into the ideas people were selling. Take the idea of Money. Paper Money has no inherent value. Our economic system is an imaginary...and exists only within the minds of human beings. The idea of paper money having value is something that we as human beings decided to agree to as a group. Yes, one could say that it was government dictated but it's been an evolution. The first form of currency was cows. Cows, needless to say, would be hard to carry in one's pocket and exchange for a latte. Human kind went through a series of ideas that eventually lead to our current economic system. That system is not, however, solid in any way shape or form. The people in the upper echelons of society know it's malability...that it's just a thought form. Basically, it's made up. Thus, the economic and monetary system can change at any time...with a single thought being held by a few human beings. Yes, it is really that fluid and, yes, we really are that powerful. The problem is that no one has had a popular idea for how to change that system for the better. Until a large group of people agree with the change it won't happen. Now, more than ever, since currency is mostly tracked through computers...it's more imaginative then ever before...and it has only as much value as we emotionally assign to it. Most people are subconsciously agreeing to this system because it's been taught as solid and unshakable when, in reality, it is not. Currency is an idea and...a thought. Thoughts are intangible...and fluid in nature. Ideas are capable of change at a moments notice. Idea's and thoughts can be changed in an instant if people are willing to change how they think. The thing is so many in our society are holding onto old ideas. They are holding onto the idea that life needs to be hard. They hold onto the ideas that we must "earn" this money through blood, sweat and tears. They want their thoughts to be frozen solid, immutable, instead of being fluid. The USA is involved in a lot of foreign wars because they don't want the money system to change. The entire reason we are in Syria has to do with this and our opposition to China and Russia. Currently, the American dollar has a lot of value in the economic market because it is being used as the currency in exchange for Oil. This is the only thing that has propped up the value of the dollar of the USA for a long time. We are not an economic exporter of goods anymore...and should the value of the dollar fail our lifestyle in the USA will go down the tubes...along with the careers of the politicians who allowed the value of the dollar decline. You see, Russia and China have started to talk about an alternative currency to the US dollar for oil and that would be tragic for our country...and Syria is a Russian ally. Here we are killing people for an intangible imagined idea. This is the power of ideas in our world...which only exist in our collective minds...but we act it as though it's as solid as a wall. Yet, even walls can be torn down with a little exertion. Humans have entirely made up every system that we have ever been a part of...all of it is in the mind. There is nothing solid to the economy, school system or government. Yes, we can see the results of this way of thinking but that is all...the rest of it exists purely in our minds. We've just made it really hard to change things...it has to reach and exist within many minds before humanity decides to shift gears. Society is as made up as a game of Candy Land. Just as children change or teach the rules as suits them...the adult world can be altered and changed. We've just been taught that these rules are necessary and solid as a means of our own survival by some of the greatest sales men that have ever existed. Would society de-evolve into chaos if these rules didn't exist? I don't think so because we have a natural tendency towards harmony. Few of us enjoy chaos. Each Person Is A Small Piece Of The Puzzle In a world that exists primarily based within the intangible mind that is entirely made up of ideas... each of us is an important piece of the puzzle. Each of us is a reflection of the One Source...we are one small portion of the whole. Only when each of us is sharing our one piece of information that we contain, our ideas, can humanity be a full reflection of the Source in its entirety. I will write a more in depth blog of this idea in the future. For now, just meditate on this idea. Each human being contains an important seed, a portion of the reflection of God/Source. If only a few people are sharing their ideas then the Whole cannot be perceived in its entirety. Without the Whole being perceived....humanity is never a complete reflection of Source/God. This is the power each of us have and why it is so important each shares. Reflected In Movies One of the reasons I loved X-Men Days of Future Past was the fact that the character's reflect how it is so important for each person to contribute. The character of Charles Xavier who had given up entirely on hope after the failure of the X-Men has to hope again in order to avoid a war that will destroy humanity. The character Mystique has to be prevented from killing another person for the first time. Here is one of the most beautiful scenes where the younger Xavier (James McAvoy) and his older self meet (Patrick Stewart) and I think it speaks for itself.
Fear of Rejection
This is something I'm currently exploring while reading the book A Course In Miracles. Now this is a book I would not have picked up or believed to be accurate in anyway nine years ago. Yet, it is so in alignment with what I've learned and know that it appears to be authentic teaching from Source. Most of us fear Judgement and Rejection by others. This is one of the reasons it's so hard for us to share. Too many fear that sharing will lead to suffering. This stems from the fact that we think we are Seperate from Source (I've talked about this topic here:) We have, in effect, by being here on Earth rejected Source and think that we are creating on our own. Having Rejected Source we then project what we disown onto all of the people around us who are also aspects of Source thinking they have separated from Source. As I've explained such a Separation is not possible but we perceive ourselves as being 'alone.' I will explore this idea when I write a post on Lucifer, which might just be a tale about our own 'fall' or perceived 'separation' from Source. Either way, out of the fear of our perceived Separation from Source we project our fears onto other people. Believing that we are Seperate and alone...Rejection is something we fear most even though it us who turned our backs on Source/God. One of the most fascinating aspects of this is that when it comes to Elements....Earth Represents Fear. This school that we are learning from here on Earth is that of Fear. In the Edgar Cacye cosmology each of the planets represented some form of learning. Off the top of my head I can remember Jupiter was the Group , Venus Love and Mercury Extremes. Apparently, Earth is Fear...so we are here to learn from Fear and it's greatest teaching is that it's an illusion. What does an immortal soul really need to Fear? Too many Fear God/Source but that's another topic entirely. Too many fear being rejected or being judged by God but that's just an illusion of Fear...and it's not possible because as God/Source created everything perfectly God/Source loves his perfect creation and would never destroy that which is perfect. Conclusion Our world appears to be a very dark place. The people walk about like zombies seeking something...but they don't know what they seek. They try to fill that vacuum created by the lack of a direct connection to Source with material objects, addictions, obsessions and other people. Most people just accept things as they appear to be and they work with what they think to be true. To start questioning the ideas we are told are so solid...to realize that they are merely ideas...and that we perceive the world though the glasses of beliefs that we carry in our hearts...is an amazing journey. Examining those beliefs and discarding those that aren't true is a long journey but very much worth it. Even if I start a small amount of people on that path I have served a greater purpose. I don't expect everyone to go along this path in this life and reach the fulfillment of being free of fear and suffering. I do hope that it starts a series of lives where they can attain it. I can only pray that I help people turn back to the light of the Natural Order and Source I was pushed to create my blog. I felt like everything I was discovering was useless if I didn't share it. I couldn't keep it to myself. I really didn't understand this push. Just like I didn't understand the push for doing a YouTube channel. Why is it so important that I mush share all of this with everyone else? Why do I put my neck on the line so that people can judge me? In the end I discovered their judgement is unimportant. The only judgement that matters is that of Source and Source doesn't judge. The only person who judges is the soul themselves. That might be hard to swallow but I'll write a blog on why that makes sense. In order to learn, A Course In Miracles states, one must teach. The two are intrinsically linked. We teach through our actions and choices in every day life. In the Edgar Cacye material there is a reading given to a young man who was having a lot of spiritual breakthroughs on his own. Cacye stopped in midst the reading and warned the man that if he did not share it with others he would be creating a heaven all of his own that would be lonely. This another great reason why I share my own Journey with others. Each of us have a unique perspective of Source/God. Bashar uses the idea of people sitting around a pot on a campfire. On the bowl are images that tell a story. In order to share the story each person describes the portion that they see. If one person remains silent that story cannot be told. That is how we are here, this reflection of Source/God...each of us see a different portion of Source and each of us must share that portion with the others so we can have the complete picture. Without that sharing the entirety of Source will not be perceived. Each person is that important. Without your contribution Humanity would not be Whole. You might not contribute through words but art, through a unique form of music like the Piano guys featured in the video below, a unique style of dance, inventions or a thousand other ways...but the important thing is sharing your ideas. What good is an idea if you keep it to yourself and don't share it with the world? Each and Every Person Is Important. When I meet people or see people performing in some way...I marvel at the beauty of All-That-Is/Source/God...because I just learned a little bit more about Source. In this way, every day life can be a celebration of what All-That-Is has created. I think every aspect of Creation is absolutely stunningly gorgeous and I am in awe that I am a small component of that Whole. As an Aspect of Creation, a reflection of Source/God...you're included in that stunningly goregeous creation that inspires awe. By now you probably noticed the changes in my blog. I wanted to take a moment and explain why they happened and how they happened. I also wanted to share the motivation I have for blogging along with some ideas that form the foundation for my perspective of life and spirituality.
I realize that everything in this blog is my truth. This may be my truth but I encourage you to find your own. Perhaps by gazing upon my experience you will want to make your own spiritual journey towards self enlightenment. I don't deal in absolutes. I won't tell you how to live your life or that my spiritual journey is better than anyone else. I've found a lot of healing after facing trauma's from which some people (and my psychologist) believed they can't heal. I find it funny that in this blog from February 26th I talked about the transformative energy that would last through March 20th 2017, the Spring Equinox (note I thouht the Spring Equinox was the 23rd at the time I wrote the blog but my calendars say it's the 20th). (http://bridgetkorns.weebly.com/blog/transformative-energy ) Isn't it interesting synchronicity that I ended up transforming my blog at this time? Why Change The Blog The main reason I updated my blog was because of technical reasons. I realized that the archives on the right side of the blog did not show anything after August 2016. I've been writing the blog for three years now (I deleted my entire blog at one point so everything from 2014 was lost). I realize this website has advertisements. I don't profit off of them. They are how the creators of Weebly allow people to have free blogs. I can't really see paying money for the blog. Advertisements is the best way most people make money sharing media so at the moment I can't really complain. Why Change The Name Since I was updating the look of the blog I decided to update the name. In wondering through the internet I discovered months ago that someone else had a blog titled 'Oh The Humanity.' I don't recall if the blog was made after mine or before mine but I decided that if the opportunity arose I would re-name my blog since it was no longer an original title. The subjects covered in the other blog did not involve spirituality but I was still disappointed to see someone had also used the title. The new name for this blog came from a dream fragment. I don't remember the context but I was contemplating the idea of what I would name a book containing my favorite blog posts. The name that came to mind and the reasoning for it is what I have subsequently used for this blog. Why Use The Term Mystic? I don't like labels. I feel labels group people and help them solidify a personality or identity based on that label. Having a personality...defining yourself as this or that is very unhealthy. In fact, all of the literature and research I have done spiritually argues that dissolving our personality construct (which most people refer to as ego) is necessary for a Spiritual Awakening. You can call this Awakening to being in the Spirit of Christ, Enlightenment, or Awakening to our Higher Self...the specifics are not necessary. The goal is the same...to lessen our personal suffering and bring the light of God/Source into this world. The idea that I could be called a mystic in any way shape or form once bothered me. Let's face it, ever since Yeshua's death people who were mystics died horribly at the hand of others. Either they died following in Yeshua's footsteps or were burnt at the stake for being a witch or warlock. Given that I believe in a past life I died painfully and horribly for defending my personal spiritual beliefs....writing this blog was hard at first. The last thing I want to do is be persecuted for my beliefs. I have not been persecuted by others for my beliefs since writing the blog and it's become a wonderful outlet for me. The definition of a 'mystic' really does capture what my personal 'hobby' has been since I was in my early teens. Here is the definition according to Google: "1. A person who seeks by contemplation and self-surrender to obtain unity with or absorption into the deity or the absolute, or believes in the spiritual apprehension of truths that are beyond the intellect." In that case, I can say that I am a mystic. I've owned the fact that the term can be applied to me and it also conveys that the blog is written from a Spiritual view point. Even if I'm doing a Book or Movie Review it's always filtered through my spiritual beliefs in this blog. I can see them from other perspectives but for me much of reality is the song of spirit. That's, of course, because I believe we exist within a Subjective Reality which is a topic I've written about previously that I will revisit in the near future. Why Use The Term Butterfly? Since I was about eight years old and inherited my Aunt Ruthies Butterfly pendant collection I've been crazy about Butterflies. I was into butterflies before the trend's in the late nineties where it started to be plastered onto everything. I didn't mind that and I still don't. When I got my butterfly tattoo at 16 (my parents were there and signed a paper giving permission) very few other people had butterfly tattoos. I don't mind the merchandising or the fact that butterflies have become an extremely popular symbol. I buy a lot of stuff with butterflies on it because I feel it is my personal symbol. The Butterfly has always represented Transformation to me. Even as a young teenager I felt that was my 'Spiritual Idea' (a concept based on Edgar Cacye's work). Since I started working with my dreams as a young teenager I have had an appreciation of the symbolism involving a butterfly. Therefore, Mystic Butterfly might also be interpreted as Spiritual Transformation which is my inner and very personal life work. Why Write a Blog? I first started writing fantasy novels when I was in high school. I completed my first one- Merosis- when I was 16 years old. I used to think Fantasy was the main vehicle I could use to convey spiritual ideas that I had been studying. In my twenties I finished completed writing a Merosis trilogy. I sought to have them published but the realm of Fantasy novels had been slowly dying out during that time. I did have a short science fiction fantasy story called The Huntress set in the world of Merosis published by an E-Zine called Midnight Times. Eerily, my life has reflected the life of the main protagonist in my stories. You always start off writing what you know so naturally the main character was based on me. Writing the books was a very personal psychological inner journey. My taste in what I liked to read changed when I hit my thirties. I read more mystical books. I started off with Zechiriah Stitchins Annunaki books, then branched out to books published by Edgar Cacye's A.R.E. and on to a number of others that you will eventually be able to peruse in a Source Page I'm going to add to my blog website. I also became more interested in watching YouTube video's on Spirituality and Listening to Talk shows that talked about spiritual subjects. Whether Christian, Buddhist or something else I'd give anyone who had a plausible argument a listen. What I found was that almost all of it was negative fear based information or Bliss Bunnies (a term originally coined by Jamie Sams) who had no idea what they were talking about...but it felt good man! I saw information provided in a way that could do more harm than good. I began this blog as a way to change that and give people a different paradigm to look through. I love looking at life through different perspectives. I think this is very healthy and anyone working on the positive side to help illuminate other peoples minds is very much needed in the very dark world we live in. An Inclusive Approach In a previous blog I wrote about the idea of Inclusive vs. Exclusive point of view. This rambles a bit but here it is: http://bridgetkorns.weebly.com/blog/inclusive-vs-exclusive. At the time I was very much into the Shift which I no longer think is all that important. That is an entirely different subject I wrote about in the same period of time that I wrote that blog. The important thing is that this point of view of being Inclusive regarding spiritual beliefs is different from what the majority of society has held. The other day I was talking about seeing the X-Men movie Logan while I was at work. A gentleman overheard the conversation and tried to verbally attack the movie X-Men Apocalypse. He was fishing to see if I was upset by anything in that movie and I commented that I didn't think it was the best but it was as good movie. He was disappointed and went on to lecture me. He did not like that the character Apocalypse saying that he was, "Elohem, Yahweh...Ra, etc." The customer said he didn't care that the old Egyptian God name of Ra had been invoked but how dare they use a name for God found in the Bible- Elohem. That was blasphemy, he declared to me, and he believes in Jesus Christ. I smiled at him indulgently. Eventually he left commenting that, "He must be old," as the reason why I didn't see a problem with the context of that movie. Later, I was happy to observe that I hadn't heard anyone say the word Blasphemy in a very long time. I didn't mind that he had his own opinion, it in no way affected mine, and I was going to tell him I know a lot about the word Elohem. I did not want to start an argument. Instead I just smiled and said I understood that it could cause discomfort. Elohem has been a hot button topic in the metaphysical realms for awhile as some suggest the Sumerian Annunaki were the Elohem. Some believe the Annunaki were aliens that came down and engineered humanity (much like the movie Prometheus). Strangely, Elohem is plural...meaning more than one being. The mere fact he focused on that word and not Yehovah surprised me but maybe he wasn't as familiar with the connection between the name Yehovah and the Christian God. Of course, I was fine with the charterer in Apocalypse stating those were his prior names as a part of the X-Men movie. I see Source, or what Christians call the Trinity, in the Hindu concept Brahman and Atman. I see it in the Egyptian Amun, Ra, and Ptah. I see that same concept in the Hopi concept of Tawa, Masauwu and the Spider Woman. I see it in the Dogon concept of Ama or the Sumerian creation story of Anu, Enki and Enlil. Call the Trinity or Source by any name you wish...it's the same Source/God/All-That-IS. Just as I am the same person whether you call me Bridget, B, Bird, Bridge to the T, Bridgey Korns, etc. A name is just a name and in a realm made of energy, who cares? In fact, I really don't care about the hundreds of different names for the species of frogs that exist...because to me they are still just frogs. Perhaps, it's because Apocalypse is an alien and he's mortal that the many said it was Blasphemy. Well, there is an entirely different concept called Oneness. That we are all reflections of the divine and One with Source. This is a difficultl abstract lesson I've learned but have yet to write down in a blog. Yet, I will say, that in a way we are all Yehovah, we are all Elohem, we are all reflections of the God's that have ever been named. Why can't all spiritual beliefs be based on the same truth just stated and interpreted in different ways? Maybe, they distorted what they have perceived and caused harm but that is most likely by accident (hence the saying the road to hell is paved with good intentions). Why can't commonly recurring symbols mean the same thing, at their basic level, from one culture to the next? This approach is that of harmony...of brotherhood and of "Loving your neighbor as yourself." (Mark 12:31). I don't see Jesus (Yeshua) as growing up in a cultural vacuum. He had access to Buddhist monks, Greek mythology, Roman mythology and Hindu Yogis. India is not that far from Israel and there were plenty of traders. Israel was definitely one of the countries that had thriving trade with other nations especially under the rule of the Roman Empire. The Roman Empire, at the time, very tolerant and often correlated regional Gods and Goddess to their own system. Yeshua didn't reject the Samaritan at the well when she asked him questions. Instead he recognized that she had the spiritual necessities to appreciate truth and shared some with her. How can any follower proclaiming to follow Yeshua not be accepting of their neighbors earnest search for Godin whatever format that might take? In many ways when we explore life, when we explore ourselves, we explore a part of Source/God. Subjective Reality I will touch on this for a moment. Through earning my Bachelors Degree in Psychology I made a staggering discovery. The final class I was required to take had an amazing admission. Psychology has discovered that people cannot be categorized into groups or their behavior predicted by their identification. The way people approach a particular life event depends on too many variables to be predictable and is unique to every individual. We know that when the human eyes are mapping our world that there are gaps in what we perceive. Our brain happily fills in those gaps. Here is an article on the subject: https://braindecoder.com/post/up-to-90-of-your-perception-could-be-made-up-purely-by-the-brain-1104633927?utm_source=facebook Life is entirely Subjective to the Individual. We interpret the information we encounter through the uniquely developed filter that we have created based on our personal life experiences. These filters can change but most people tend to stick to the filters they form during their High School years. This erases the possibility of any Absolute Truth ever being applied to every human being. The worlds we perceive on an individual bases is purely unique to each individual. This isn't to say that the truth of Source and the Natural Order does not work within all of those perspectives in a similar way. Instead, while that same 'force' may be interwoven into these individually perceived unique worlds it can be interpreted differently. Not one single person holds all the answers and truth for everyone. This is also why we have to journey within to discover Source for ourselves on an individual level and not through a book, Preachers, Guru, or any other person who tries to hold themselves up as a Spiritual Source or Contact for Source. There is an individual perspective of 'universal truth' and a societal truth that is arrived at through debate/expression of the individuals. This is why Free Speech is so important and it's absolutely wrong to oppress another person based on their beliefs. As long as no one else is harmed in the process each should be able to pursue their own beliefs because not one person knows the filter of another. We can't walk in each others shoes so we can't judge people but we can judge their actions. Paradigm Shifts People who hold onto a particular view, making it very solid, encounter a great deal of dissonance when they meet people of other cultures or belief systems. This is a hard way of living life...judging other peoples worthiness or righteousness by comparing their way of living to your own. In that traditional perspective everything you believe is right and part of your personal identity (Ego). Therefore when something 'outside' threatens that perspective it has to be defended as though the your life itself (or that of the Ego) is at stake. This is where, to me, it is so valuable to look at the Cosmos through as many different perspectives/filters as possible. Whether listening to others life stories, reading books that challenge my point of view, or watching movies that make me think...I grow as a person. The more I learn about how other people see the world the more I learn about myself. When Paradigm Shifts or Epiphanies happen it as though the entire world has moved or we moved a mountain. Yet, the only thing that really shifted was our own perspective of the world. Our vision becomes a little bit more wider...a little bit more lose when it comes to the 'truths' we hold. With practice, paradigm shifts lead to a very fluid responsive state of mind that is flexible when presented with opposition. There is no reason to fight but a great sense of compassion and a desire to understand the other person. I understood why that man said X:Men Apocalypse was Blasphemy. When I was in my teens I held the same point of view that I had learned the few times I interacted with religious people. The old Roman Catholic Point of view was very particular about obliterating anything that threatened their religion. Society considered it acceptable that anyone even slightly threatening their paradigm could be burned at the stake for practicing the 'dark arts.' I know the history. I know he is working with an outdated framework. He knew it too, stating, "Maybe I'm just old." I pitied him then, I admit. Yes, his mind was a rock unable to perceive anything beyond a time worn way of thinking that newer generations just can't conceive. In isolation such thinking may thrive but when you are part of a culturally diverse world it is impossible. Different is not bad (unless it hurts someone physically) but it can cause people who have a very solid 'personality complex' pain. Those types of people can't separate their self-identity from their beliefs. The dissonance as they try to integrate and relate to people with different beliefs they never considered can be acute. Often they lash out in pain when they encounter a point of view they don't understand or they shut down mentally. Dreams A long time ago I set the precedent that if Spirit wishes to communicate with me it must be through dreams. I have always believed that dreams had deep meaning...at least on a psychological level. People such as Psychologist Carl Jung were very much into using dream interpretation to help patients. The basis for all of the Spiritual Truths that I own and integrate into my beliefs come from dreams. Often, I find a verification for a truth that I was first shown in a dream after I have the dream. There is no chance, most of the time, that an outside influence was the source for the inspiration of the information for a dream. I will reference dreams often when talking about concepts that I'm exploring. That's because the exploration of the different subjects are usually connected to or prompted by a dream. I, like most, want some sort of external validation and if there were others who experienced something similar I can take comfort knowing I'm not the only one. Conclusion I'm excited that my Blog changed by chance. I write my blog for numerous reasons. Mostly, my aim is to help others lessen their suffering. I do this through investigating and explaining different paradigms and spiritual ideas. I explore new themes I see in the metaphysical and spiritual communities. I share insights and epiphanies I gain from dreams. I write this blog as as service to other people. I don't do this for profit but for others. Hopefully, if I share this information other people around the world will suffer less as I have learned ways to lessen my suffering. I am not a spiritual leader. I share what I learn from others and I will be adding a Sources page soon. I encourage people not to take what I am saying as their Truth. I ask that everyone investigate and read the material that I have shared and read and come to their own conclusion. My deepest prayer is that the work of the Source/God is reflected through my blog bringing Source/God into others lives so they can work in harmony with Source. With understanding, compassion and harmony we can start working with one another instead of opposing one another all of the time. On my Spiritual Journey I've learned that it's not all about me. Even if I were to reach enlightenment it would be very lonely unless I had companions who were the same. That, as much as anything else, is why I write this blog to share my journey. May all of us reach Enlightenment together, being in this world in the now but not of it and magnifying Source's presence on this planet to the betterment of all. I had to break down my belief system, after my last blog, and make it as simple as possible. My husband wanted to understand where I was coming from and how I could defend it. Is it possible to have a belief system that doesn't involve God? Can I leave out the bigger metaphysical pieces of the puzzle that have made a more complete picture for me?
Well, yes. There is a very simple approach from life that lies at the core of my value and belief system. That core principal rests on the idea of personal responsibility. In fact, it makes me more responsible for my own reality then The Creator. While the Creator and the idea of reincarnation, life after death, ghosts, karma, and chakras definitely play a key role in all of this and have their place in it at the heart of all good spiritual practices is a basic system. I believe this system was created by a more intelligent force in creation. Whether it came directly from the Creator, or was a product of Shamanic Dream Quests, or it came from some other interaction...it does not matter. That system is very simple and even when you remove The Creator and all of the rest from it can you use it to approach life. Life is Subjective I have explained this one many times. This is scientifically proven as well and promoted by psychology! Life is subjective...it is basically neutral data that you encounter...then based on your belief system you create how you respond to the stimulus. Life is 100% what you make of it. No one forces you to watch the news and become mad. You choose to do that...and someone with a slightly different perspective might find the entire thing absolutely hilarious. (I often have a surreal feeling watching the news after years of not watching it because...it seems really fake from the people who are reporters to the biased way they tell stories all of it almost seems like satire...especially on a slow news day). Two people can experience the same exact situation and have two totally different responses. I went to Knotts Scary Farm on Thursday. The Tricksters came up to me and sniffed really deeply. I asked if I smelt good...because I knew it was an illusion. I knew it was fake. I knew they couldn't touch me and even if they did...well, I'd probably walk away. So, I'm friendly. One time I even offered one a piece of churro when he asked in a creepy voice. His unadulterated shock made my night (he then went around chasing people asking them if he wanted his churro which could be interpreted in interesting ways). Yet, there are people who freak out. They scream, they run, and the Tricksters encouraged by this behavior and the attention run after them...squeaking or sparking their way through the fog. Someone dressed up as a clown can look menacing...and so we have a clown epidemic in our country (wake up to the illusion). People who think about sex all of the time see sexual symbols all over the place. Something that might not look like a penis suddenly does. Yet, I'm getting ahead of myself so let's go on to the next topic. This is basic psychology. When at the end of my capstone psychology class I read that there were too many varieties of people who reacted too many ways to safely categorize or predict behavior in a definitive manner...I went, "Ah ha!" and I was really disappointed because I'd been hoping psychology would give me a glimpse of the motivations behind people's actions. Yet, the answer is that there are just too many ways to react...and the only way to really predict that is based on a person's internal beliefs. The mind is always at your command...if you think it...it will happen eventually. The Self-Fulfilling Prophecy This one is proven by science. Guaranteed to make the hardiest skeptic gag on their bloated anti-god rhetoric. In this, basically, a person latches onto a belief or idea. Then their subconscious makes it happen. This explains how affirmations and even positive thinking can work. The brain is trained to expect positive things so your subconscious is going to work for you ensuring that you are extra aware and expecting the parking space near the front of the store. Is it destiny or is it the power of the brain that really own you feeds you a small percentage of the data that it's taken in through the various forms of stimulus? In the end does it matter? With simple Affirmations, a Goal Board, daily positive meditation and working on being a positive person (fake it until you make it...if someone asks how you are say fantastic even if you're not...and somehow just with that reinforcement...even if you know it's a lie it will soon be true because everyone you encounter will be happier to see you!)...you too can train your mind to work for you! Fear Based or Love Based Similar to the Force we have the choice to approach love from Fear or Love. Fear based approaches cause us to hate people and resent them. Usually because we make certain assumptions that lead to a Self-Fulfilling prophecy. Someone will hate us if we act a certain way...so we do and then we're in hot water and hating them. Fear just leads down a dark path....the opposite of the positive path. People who are working on fear try to turn the world into the image they want. Through manipulation of the environment and other people they create their own world. They work against the natural order of things. Naturally, this causes a lot of other problems in their life and like a spider web they weave the trap for themselves. I could go in to why there is no reason to fear. There is good fear, it does let you know when things are not right in your life. Fear will even give you a little guidance as to what needs to be jettisoned or adjusted. If you're afraid of meeting people...usually you have to ask yourself why. Then you realize that you have a belief that was constructed by fear...just knowing that can free you or start to free you depending on how badly you think you need that belief to survive. The love based person trusts themselves above all else. That means not depending on the universe to provide for them but to simply allow for things to happen naturally. When meeting resistance there is an understanding that door is not meant to be opened (unlike a fear based person who will keep working at it until it does open and something bad happens). Being open minded they will give anything consideration for a time but trusting in their ability to know when their boundaries are crossed they will defend themselves as needed. That simple trust is love in a way because there is no love when trust is gone. There is no need when there is love for completion or turning to anything else for answers. This isn't spiritual in any way. We are experts on ourselves, we read endless personality information (Myers Briggs for example) to try to get a perception of ourselves. For some it is elusive...some people take on a defined role and image...and for others it is completely flexible because they can be one person one minute and a totally different one the next. Accepting The Natural Order This, again, has been scientifically proven. In our universe there is order even in chaos. There are patterns...almost as though life is a transmission of some sort from some unknown source. This has lead a lot of scientists to propose we live in a holographic universe (which is not so proven). Yet, the Natural Order is not hard to identify and track. The Earth has a natural rhythm and has dealt with global catastrophes only to adjust and then allow life to thrive again. Some Scientists say we are in the fifth or sixth mass level extinction event...yet Joe and Jane off to their job hardly notice the difference from day to day. The very idea that Humanity thinks it can control nature is such a folly it's laughable and depicted in such movies as Jurassic Park as general knowledge. We can have a slight impact but on a universal level there is a natural order, there are physical processes in place that occur in response to variables and life finds a way. The only problem is that Humanity likes to work against that natural order- massive farms, massive raising of life stock...that can have negative effects. Working against the natural order always causes negative effects. Whether it's the loss of human life because a building was created somewhere that is vulnerable to different issues (frequent flooding or land slides)...it is a failure to really understand the natural order of the universe that causes them. There is a delicate balance that needs to be maintained. Conclusion There really isn't a need to identify the Creator as having a major role in your life. There isn't even a need to make everything complicated. Personal responsibility is the firm foundation of every approach to life. We are not mere bits of straw on the ocean of life being tossed about helplessly in a storm...unless we mentally choose to be based on our beliefs about reality and life in general. That being said, the idea of a Creator does help. That we are part of the Creator, as well as the Created, that we are made in that spiritual image and that is why we can Create and reformat the world based on our will. That there is a divine will or Order to the universe. That the reason we came here is to experience the ability to create and tame the will that makes us desire to work against the Creation by formatting it into our own image. Yet, my very simple set of beliefs don't require it...it just requires a commitment to wholesome healthy psychological living and responsibility which are principals that anyone can put into place within their own life.
"That is an enigma wrapped in a paradox," this old somewhat crazy man used to say at the Coffee House where I worked. He had a pure heart, at some point he'd been a college professor in a field I can't remember, but he'd clearly gone nuts at some point. My co-workers hated him and my evil manager used to chew me out for giving him attention because he didn't want the man to come back.
Paradox, did mankind always have the ability to perceive a paradox...let alone solve it? What is a paradox, you might ask...so here it is: a statement or proposition that, despite sound (or apparently sound) reasoning from acceptable premises, leads to a conclusion that seems senseless, logically unacceptable, or self contradictory. This blog is more of a stream of consciousness...this is how my mind thinks hopping from one subject to another. I apologize if it's not exactly straight forward and tidy. I hope you enjoy the labyrinth of words and ideas that follows. Star Trek and Timelines. I used the final scene from Star Trek: The Next Generation for a few reasons. I completely left Star Trek out of the Timelines post. There were a lot about Timelines in Star Trek. Not only were they in TNG, but they were integral to Voyager as well (in fact in the final episode it was by changing the past that Captain Janeway brought home her crew) and a lot in the Star Trek: Enterprise. I remember watching a behind the scenes where they explained that the Star Trek company so insisted on Timelines being part of the story line in Enterprise that the writers felt that it really negatively impacted their ability to write the series. This is why the seasons involving time travel kind of sucked. Why were time lines and time manipulation so important to the creators of Star Trek? Was it simply to tie Voyager and Enterprise together? I have no idea. Second, a lot of the flexibility in thinking and new ideas that I have explored had their germination in episodes of Star Trek. In the final episode of the Next Generation Q was testing Captain Picard. The Q continuum was threatening to destroy all of humanity unless mankind could show they were capable of perceiving and solving a paradox. Picard had to realize he was the source and cause of the rip in space time...no matter how inconceivable that may seem and how unwittingly he was causing it. To me, perhaps, that is what we are saying. Maybe that's what's causing a "shift" and potentially creating a future time line that is not the doom and gloom predicted from psychics starting with the New Testament Revelations to Nostradamus and all the way down to Edgar Cacye. Do our memories define us? The Mandela thing is a bit of a paradox in itself. There are some weird instances that I am susceptible to and in particular the lion and lamb. As I was talking about this subject after writing Timelines I remembered the explanation for the lion and lamb laying down together, and that it was a symbol for Jesus Christ (Yeshua). The Lion stood for the fact that he is the lion of Judea and the Lamb is the symbol for the sacrifice that he made on the cross. I have no idea what the interpenetration for a wolf vs. a lamb would be (unless he was secretly a member of House Stark from Game of Thrones). However, while some people might argue that we are our memories I disagree. We are much more than our memories. Having had a past life recall I can tell you, three memories of lives from each life were more than enough to give me the flavor and capture the essence of my thinking in those lives. Yes, pivotal moments can help chart the course of our lives but we are not our memories. So, to say that the Mandela Effect in some way affects us on a personal level, that it invalidates who we are if things of the past are not remembered correctly...I disagree. The person with dementia that can't really remember anything is still the same person, forgetful yes, but their personality is still there. Ask anyone who has a loved one with dementia and despite the lack of memory they will say they are the same person. Perhaps, it is just that small lesson that is the purpose of the Mandela Effect. Life Is Transitory "The fact is that what appears to us as a solid reality is actually in a state of continuous flux. The world is a continuous state of flux. The house that we grew up in is not the same house anymore. The mother and father that we knew when we were children are physically different now. Where is our first bicycle? At one time, it seemed so real." (Turning the Mind Into an Ally, Sakyon Mipham). The idea that life is just as an illusion is a popular one. In the book Ancient Egyptian Mysticism John Van Aucken explains that the Egyptians knew this concept. To them, this world was the illusion and the spiritual world was real. We are in the world of "being upside down." The idea that life is an illusion and that it's transitory/temporary can be related to the idea that each moment is just a bunch of photons arranged in a certain pattern. That moment, that Now, is all that exists. Then it changes and that prior "now" is gone. Our linear mind simply makes a story of the data that we interpret, from each of these momentary alignments of photons and while objects seem to be permanent they really aren't. Being In The Now Ultimately, the past is behind us and the way that we experience this reality, in a linear fashion, there is no way for us to go back and retrieve it (this is an argument that can be made very rationally about time travel). At the same time, the future doesn't exist aside from some potentials. The Now holds the seeds to the future, this is where we plant them and we may watch them grow in future moments. However, as I mentioned before, the key is to make choices that bring us the most joy. Sure, sometimes it's the choice of what jewelry to wear to work but the little moments are what make the biggest differences. I've seen this work in my own life. I was very miserable not very long ago. I started making choices in every moment that brought me the greatest joy. Of course, within limitations. Obviously, eating a Twinkie every hour might bring temporary joy but eventually will lead to dire results such as obesity or diabetes. So, you have to be reasonable. When you have to reasonable choices, the Mickey Mouse earrings or the skull today? Well, which ever you are most excited to wear is the one you should choose. That's the basics of this idea. Also, there is no guarantee to happiness. No matter what we do to pursue a better life there will always be random things that will happen that might set us back. People die, that's a sad reality of life, and tragedies happen... although it might be unexpected we can't really anticipate that. That, however, is something that's a bit more acceptable once we realize life is temporary and everything in life is in flux. Further, if we accept that this is the testing ground for spirit...and it's a bit of a spiritual obstacle course, those random incidents seem to make sense. The Shift In earlier blogs I've stated that I felt the shift happened in 2014. The idea of a shift has been something that's been in the New Age ideology for a long time. The shift has been referred to the Age of Aquarius or the Jupiter Incarnation. I will cover this topic in a future blog. This is a huge topic. The believe the Shift for the most part was in thinking and nothing more. We are what we think. So when we are rigid, and we are stuck in Group Think (I will be talking about how Group Think and Apathy in the United States has been a detriment to our country in another blog) it really leads to a bad outcome. Here is the definition of Group Think: The practice of thinking or making decisions in a group in a way that discourages creativity or individual responsibility. The wonderful thing about these fringe outlets and people who are not accepted by Mainstream Academia (which is very much stuck in Group Think) is that they have stirred imagination. They have stirred people with truth and ideas that the people stuck in institutions cannot say or share. They are churning out far more than anyone who goes to college to learn how to churn out new ideas can even attempt (college tends to drive out creativity and imagination by forcing people into molds based on the date/interpretations of those who came before them in that field of research). Perhaps, to perceive new realities, to perceive alien cultures that we are pretty sure exist because of Drakes Equation but have not made themselves known is because we lacked the imagination to do so. If what we perceive is just a bunch of photons arranging themselves into pictures very quickly so that our limited minds with their senses perceive a solid reality...perhaps that reality is limited by imagination. I will go further into this idea in my post on The Shift. A Choice "Logic will get you from A to B. Imagination will take you everywhere."- Albert Einstein That's one of my favorite quotes. We are being handed a choice. Do we go with the fear and continue with Group Think refusing to change basing everything on Logic? Do we embrace the unknown and let our imagination take us to new heights? We see this in many spheres of influence right now. We have been stuck in Group Think probably since World War One if not World War Two. In this country FDR put into motion a lot of things including a military that has 562 bases throughout a world of 189-196 countries (the reason there is a range is because there are countries that some consider to be 'territories' but they see themselves as independent countries). I think there are enough people who want to see change, real change, they don't trust the path that we were on as a nation or a world (a unified one world idea). I think we can absolutely track the cause of this break from Group Think to the Alternative Media. This is why the United Kingdom has voted to leave the Europe Union by a slim margin (Apparently, they were told that those who didn't vote to stay in the EU were racist. That's a familiar strategy employed in the United States as well...right now against Trump). Heck, the fact women have been upgraded to the mammal class, that they are being recognized as animals in Saudi Arabia instead of just mere property/inanimate object is a huge sign of the Establishment giving way. This is why Trump and Bernie Sanders have been able to challenge the Establishment. To say, yes we've been doing this for sixty odd years but enough is enough! We don't want your globalism. We like our individual national cultures...it gives us variety and creativity. We don't want everyone to think the same way and give up the passion of disagreement! We don't want to become an undifferentiated globe of people. Diversity creates ideas. Trying to make everyone the same kills the imagination. If I'm not allowed to think differently then everyone else my creativity will die. However, it's your choice. You can choose to be part of the Establishment that is stuck in Group Think. Or you can join us out on the fringe. We're not as lonely as we used to be! Isis/Sophia Another curiosity I'm currently exploring has to do with the Triple Goddess. There is evidence that there was a Matriarchal religion on our planet before there was a Patriarchal religion. This means that we worshiped a female god, or set of God's, before we worshiped the male Christian singular God that we all know. To me, the mother Goddess smacks of witch craft. Anything where people can really twist an idea, where there really isn't an established consensus or a deep tradition crafted over thousands of years when it comes to spiritual thinking is murky. There are a lot of mediums and witches who want to create a Mother Goddess religion and completely mar research of this subject with something totally different than the traditional thinking...but they will claim they based it on old spiritual ideas without references or resources (yuck). One of the things that really bugs me about the entire situation in the Middle East is that the Media keeps using the name I.S.I.S. for the Islamic State. We could just call them the Islamic State. Our government uses the abbreviation I.S.I.L. because they realize that they are describing the ancient Goddess of Egypt's name by using it to describe a patriarchal group that treats women like furniture. Even if she is not worshiped anymore that's an insult to that culture. Further, DAESH (an insult to them that is intentional, look that up, do your homework) has desecrated sites that are sacred to the ancient goddesses. They destroyed Ishtar's/Innana's lion wall in Ninevah! In Jupiter Ascending we see the return of the Mother Goddess with the female character, Jupiter, becoming the protector of Earth from outside forces. I will probably go through and write a blog specifically about all the ideas in Jupiter Ascending. There is so much that if someone isn't a 'student of the mysteries' (nope I'm not a Freemason, chicks can't be fore one, and secondarily I refused to join any spiritual group because I don't want to be influenced by Group Think) would become lost...they can have fun and enjoy the action of the movie...but the deeper meanings will be totally and completely lost. So, in some way, even in our news it seems as though someone is trying to conjure up the great primordial mother of old. I'm not implying this is witchcraft. Sophia represents imagination. I even read somewhere (a piece written by a student of Rudolf Steiner) that Sophia was killed not long after Christ came to Earth but it was necessary for our spiritual development. There are so many levels to this idea I have to save it for a future blog. I will say that this does tie in with a new topic that I'm reading about (Rudolf Steiner) and its an area I have not dared to tread before because, being raised Christian, it smacks of witchcraft (which I see as pathetic, it's like a druggy...people unable to cope with the world trying to control the world through outside influences that will destroy them not realizing the key lies within their own mind). The resurrection of women equal to men and the Triple Goddess may be a huge influence on today's world. Non-Linear Games Strangely, it's in video games that we find people who have gone non-linear. I have talked about how humans like linear stories...where one plot point leads to another and eventually we end up with a conclusion (The Hero's Journey). However, in the gaming field people have become more inclined to want a non-linear game. Here there a bunch of side stories, smaller plots, along with the major plot, but it more resembles the world we live in where we choose where we go, what plot to follow, what mission to complete and we have freedom of choice. For example, in the video game Skyrim I have never gone through with the 'main' plot or story line. I focused on trying to complete the side quests first, even thought after doing the main 'campaign' I could do the side quests. The amount of freedom in these games is staggering. I think the non-linear video game is actually an evolution in human thought and story telling that only technology of that sort could produce. I will come back to this in my post on 'the shift.' Perhaps, those Indigo kids that became video game nuts and nerds really have changed our world and created a new reality/future timeline. Again, it comes back to thought, which has a direct effect on our reality. If the mind is the builder, because it builds our world based on what it can perceive and imagine...thoughts affect that reality. There is even the chance that when you rewrite the now you rewrite history as well...but again, I'll get into that in the 'Shift' post which will be a bitch to write because there is so much information I want to distill so it's easily digestible for everyone. Again, everyone wanted to imagine an earth shattering catastrophic event that would make people make choices...but spirit doesn't really work that way anyways. So, the choice we have is subtle and entirely mental. Conclusion I believe that this world is an experiment of spirit. Not of aliens, although, alien life forms might have helped to further that intention. There is a bit of murkiness about the influence of a possible Atlantis/Leumaria and the Annunaki (aliens who came here to mine gold according to Zechiriah Stitchin and messed with our genetics). I'll do a future post on Atlantis as I think it is pertinent to know the thinking about that fabled land in our time and I have found some agreement from at least four different sources that boggles my mind. I don't think they have linked up to realize that they have amazing similarities in what they are describing in ancient history. This will most likely be my next post, if not it will be the Apathy/Group Think argument about the United States. However, at some time I do believe that there were people 'in the know' on this planet that left their fingerprints upon this world (sorry Graham Hancock I couldn't help myself, I still need to buy the book Fingerprints of the Gods....hopefully, I will do so for my birthday). As John Van Auken describes, these people left us a blue print for us to follow, they knew what they were doing when they became a part of this story and they knew how it would end. When we find these traces, when we follow them back, when we apply the possibility to our Now, I believe that we can and do change the future. Perhaps, there is a battle between forces in this world for the minds of people. In the past, people described these influences as beings, we deified them and personified them because we could not conceive of abstract thought (I will go into this in the shift post) but now we can see them for what they are...mere influences not beings or forces...things we can influence by choice...again it is a choice that we are making. If we dwell on the idea of Satan we will find evidence of Satan hiding under every bush, every tree and in every institution man has ever made. If we dwell on the thought of God we can see the divine in every nuance of life...in a sort of natural Order that our mathematicians can even map. You choose to give your power of creativity over to one or the other...whichever you find to be the most exciting. Thank you again for reading this, I know this one was not written as 'tightly' or as simple as I like and often appeared to wonder off topic. However, there were ideas and thoughts I left out of Timelines because it would make it too long and I just wanted to dip into the topic to clarify and expand a few things. My next three blogs will consist of The Shift, Group Think In America, and The Triple Goddess. These might not be the final titles but there is an outline of what I intend to write. For some reason this blog really reminds me of the Captain Planet theme song. Such 80's wholesomeness. Laugh, relax, don't be so tense, everything will be alright. The Power Is Yours. |
