I love this YouTube channel.
I found this channel when looking for videos of Disneyland earlier this year when my trip to Disneyland fell through. For me, it's super relaxing to watch Josh and Jenna do many if the things I did when I was a Disneyland Passholder. Disneyland is an escape from the ordinary world. As a passholder there is the benefit of taking your time and really enjoying the experience. I chose the award unwrapping because at the start you can hear them say my name. I love how they interact with viewers and I watch the livestreams when live when possible. Below you can find the Halloween Merch video Jenna made. I never knew watching people shop would be so satisfying. I have totally bought some things from the Disney Store because I saw them in videos. I really believe the relaxing strolls that Josh does should have the tag unintentional ASMR. I find them so relaxing! I hope you enjoy this channel as much as I do!

This Full Moon feels as though it has crept up on me. This moon cycle on a daily level seems to have lasted a long time but when it comes to the weeks passing it went quickly. That strange sense of time is probably due to a shift of energy within me which seems to be reflected in the astrology. So, let's see what's going on in the sky. I've accomplished a lot, however, in that time period including finishing some projects that I had been struggling to complete for some time.
Astrology We have a lot of interesting energy going on astrologically with this Full Moon making it perfect for Shadow Work. The Moon itself is conjunct Chiron which is currently retrograde. The Moon is illuminating those internal psychological wounds that we have repressed. While our repressed psychological scars are being revealed to us Mars is bringing up the anger that we repressed because of those wounds. Mars is the ruler of this Full Moon but it's retrograde motion means there's an inner boiling anger that we need to recognize. At the same time Mars is conjunct Eris who's symbolism represents rejection so our first response to that anger might be rejection or it is anger over feeling rejected that needs to be addressed. Finally, the Capricorn Gang is a major powerhouse during this Full Moon. They are now just about at full power with Jupiter and Saturn moving forward while Pluto is stationary direct. That means that even though we are turned inwardly because of the Mars energy the outer world is starting to accelerate forward in particular when it comes to the structures in our lives. With the other energy in the chart it really highlights conflicts of interest with authority figures that we're not expressing aloud or directly. In the outer reality it's really easy to see this as censorship gets downright and dirty in any social media that has a widespread reach. I really recommend Sandalwood or Patchouli to keep you grounded during this time. If you can tune into the Earth Element for going for walks in nature or walking on grass or dirt with bare feet it will help with the frustration and limitation that all of us are feeling during this transit. Sacred Sandalwood perfume from SG that I pictured above is one of my favorite ways of connecting with the smell of Sandalwood. Sandalwood or Patchouli incense or essential oils might also be helpful. Isn't it funny that I would pull a stone for communication the week of the debates? That's all we will be talking about the rest of this week as Coronavirus takes the backseat to Trump nominating a Supreme Court Justice and the debates. During a Lunar Cycle I sit and meditate with the different symbols that came up when I was doing the New Moon ritual. Whether its meditating on the certain set of crystals and stones that I used for the grid along with their combined meaning or the cards involved I usually spend a day with each. Here is the first passage that leapt out at me as I was reading about the Hermit during this week: "The Hermits Hat is a blue Yod. "Since blue is the color of The High Priestess and she represents mind, this means that The Hermit is crowned with the powers of the mind. When we identify with The Hermit we get our head out of the wrong place and into the right place. We come to understand the highest aspect of mind." pg 155 Thursday Night Tarot By Jason C. Lotterhand." This first quote reminds me of the analogy of the Rock and the Flower. In that metaphor the mind starts off as a solid rock that is 'crystalized' as Jason C. Lotterhand refers to in his work. Here the Yod symbolizes that raised kundalini. In other perspectives the Yod resides like the Kundalini in the lower spine and has to be raised up to the head, like a snake or a blooming flower, until the entire body is a conduit of the divine. "I get the feeling that The Hermit is trying to attract students with his lantern. "Yes, he holds the light for seekers. We all have Life Itself Within Us trying to teach and guide us. The rays are shining out from a six-pointed star inside the lantern, symbolizing Tiphareth on the Tree of Life. In the construction of the Hexagram, the upwards pointing fire triangle corresponds to the Three Supernals and the downward pointing water triangle represents their reflection in substantiality. This marriage of fire and water creates the Light of Beauty, which is sufficient to guide you through your whole life. Beauty is the very temple of the Cabala. The four Sephiroth that form the central pillar of the Tree of Life spell out the message that the Will To Beauty is the Foundation of the Universe." pg 154 Thursday Night Tarot by Jason C. Lotterhand I found this passage really beautiful. The central pillar up the Tree of Life is actually considered the hardest journey because it's a straight path like an arrow. The idea that the Central Pillar means Will To Beauty really suggests that the straightest path to wholeness is creating and seeing beauty every where you go. I've been reading Star Myths Of The World Volume One by David Warner Mathison and he lays out evidence that the center path on the Tree of Life is literally the Milky Way with Sagittarius shooting the arrow up the tree of life to the goal at the top which is fascinating. So that path way of Will To Beauty is symbolized by the Milky Way. Right now I don't see that happening a lot in the outer reality. As people grow more divisive and cruel to one another it seems that the last thing in people's mind is the concept of making a beautiful world. Instead, people are literally saying that they want to burn the entire world down just to get theiri way...which is far from creating beauty in this world. To me, the idea of beautifying everything that I touch and create as the way forward is a wonderful idea. Instead of asking if something will make life just better of if doing something is kind...I think it's better to also ask, "Will this make life more beautiful for everyone?" If people were thinking this way when they were creating this 'new world' that we are in because of Coronavirus I don't think there would be as much frustration with authority figures. At the same time, there is always a reason why Divine Timing is in play. There is a reason for everything that is happening in politics...and that politics has somehow taken center stage over all other forms of entertainment. That politics has become entertainment is interesting, I credit Trump with most of that, but I don't think that now the cat is out of the bag politics will ever go back to the anonymous system it used to be...and perhaps the entertainment factor will eventually encourage media to look outside of the two party frame of mind to find the next political super star. On a more personal level I decided to harness the Virgo and Mars retrograde energy to start an Exercise Routine and new diet. I gained a lot of weight a few years ago because of the medication I was put on. I tried to start a exercise routine earlier this year when Venus was in retrograde but that actually caused me to gain weight as I was adding muscle and not burning fat. At first, I started out with the idea that this new plan would only last three weeks but when I started to see weight loss- I've lost approximately 8 pounds- have decided to commit for the long haul...perhaps even a year. Even more interesting is the fact that I seemed to "Virgo" a lot of personal projects that I struggled with for a long time. I finally wrote the entries for the 7 Planets and the 7 Directions Of The Medicine Wheel. I even dreamed and was inspired to write all of the directions to the 7 different systems of the 7 Code I wanted in the book. In all reality, aside from some editing, figuring out how to make the cover and publishing it the book is done. Having all of that off my plate I really feel as though a cycle is completed. Interestingly, the number of the Hermit is 9 which does suggest that a cycle is completed. I feel as though I'm on a plateau and I'm not sure what's going to come next. I'm pretty happy where I am at in life at the moment. The only thing that I want is a second child which seems to be a tall order. In fact, I had a strange dream where I was at a store and I meant to buy a certain top to go with a skirt. The clerk asked me if I really wanted the shirt because it was expensive $23.00. I told her I needed the shirt because it was the only one that matched a skirt that I already had. I also bought two Thanksgiving shirts to go with it. Twenty-three is change so apparently, change is coming my way but it might be at a high price. Interestingly, the Animal Medicine card I pulled this a Lunar Cycle was Dog and it was the number 23. So, last week it's as though we completed a major cycle and now, because we made space, something new is about to happen. With all three planets in Capricorn Well, that's my full moon meditation. This Lunar Cycle has brought a lot of completion. I've discovered over the years when there is a lot of completion it's because on a higher level I'm making room for something new which will be very interesting. This is just a quick post because it came up on the same day that Saturn Went direct. I'm currently reading The Ancient World Wide System by David Warner Mathisen. In reading that I came across a very interesting association with Cronos that I didn't know. Cronos is actually associated with Prometheus, the fire stealer, which is very interesting. Already, in the book Mathisen has provdied plenty of information that the Stag is the animal who stole the fire from the Gods in many traditions (Menri of Thailandand Malahsia and Catloltq of the Pacific Northwest). Suprisingly, Cronos is also connected with the stag in Greek Myth.
"The authors of Hamlets Mill take note of the mysterious importance of the symbol of the Stag in myths around the world, and the role of the Stag in bringing fire to mortal men and women. They see evidence that the Stag is somehow related to the archetypal figures associated in the descendants of of the cultures of the Mediterranean and western Europe with Kronos and Prometheus, saying: "For the stag has stood for a long time for Kronos. In the Hindu tradition he is Yama who has been met before as Yama Agastya, and who, 'following the course of the great rivers, discovered the way for many." The stag is spread far and wide in the archaic world, with the same connotations. And he is the archaic Prometheus-Kronos, "you who consume all and increase it again by the unlimited order of the Aion, wily-minded, you of crooked counsel, venerable Prometheus." In Greek, semne Prometheu. It leaves no doubts." This connects Saturn to the Jackal who also stole fire in the Dogon myths. That's a very interesting connection. Anyhow, now that you have this food for thought Yay for Saturn going direct!
This Natural Blue Lace Agate is gorgeous!
This is one of my favorite stones in my collection. This beautiful Throat Chakra stone represents calm and peaceful communication. After we returned to basics last week as we started a new cycle we're ready to communicate what we learned. This stone correlates to the fifth level of Alchemy in the Seven Code. This corresponds to Fermentation in alchemy and the Watery Western direction on the Medicine Wheel. This particular stone looks like ocean waves and it's important to question if we are talking too much or not enough. There is an ebb and flow to good communication where participants take turns. In Alchemy, say when yeast is added to a fermenting juice such as grape to make wine- multiplication takes place. When it comes to communication what we say multiplies our experiences. Every word we speak has a weight and helps to create our reality. Do you act as though every word you speak creates your future? If you accepted that to your core would you change your words? If we use negative terms regularly than we will start to see that reflected in our outer reality. When we use positive words we see that reflected in our outer reality. The office grump is the one that creates their personal grumpy experience whether or not their fellow office workers are there to hear it or not. In Astrology the fifth level is Mercury. Remember Mercury is the only planet known to be female in some signs and Male in others. When we are communicating we need to be actively talking but also be receptive to listening. Communication is a double edged sword that involves the feminine and masculine energy being balanced. Are we listening for the answer to our questions? Are we asking the right questions? Communication requires a balance of the feminine (receptive) energy and the masculine (active) energy. We just entered Libra season that's all about balance and this stone is asking us to use that ability to balance when it comes to communication. The Watery aspect of this stone also brings up the need to express our emotions. Are we telling people how we really feel? Are we crossing other peoples boundaries by telling inappropriate people how we feel- taking our angst out on a cashier instead of talking it out with a friend? Are we reaching out to others when we are in need of emotional support? All of this has to be in balance for productive communication to take place. While I was talking about this stone in my YouTube video (I'll embed it below when I upload it later today) The Dog Card Medicine Card came up and I think that's an important card to consider. Are we taking sides in what's going on in the outer reality and refusing to hear other's points of view? Are we playing for a 'team' that's not really going to reciprocate our loyalty? When it comes to loyalty the primary person we should be loyal to is ourselves because at the end of the day we are a unique spirit soul that, unless someone lived a few of our past lives, no one can 100% understand. Of course, we must understand ourselves before we are really ready to authentically communicate with the outer reality. I know, I personally have issues with being receptive to other people. I think the other day at A Taste of Knotts I had the opportunity to meet two very interesting women that may know of my work and I wish I had been more open to that opportunity. I don't tend to 'take people home with me' or let them in aside from the digital realm. Which is a shame because I probably lose out on some opportunities. Thank you, brave soul, for joining me on the Path of the Seeker. I hope that your day is magical. I highly recommend Final Fantasy 7 remake. The creators are releasing it in chapters and it's really addictive. Given that the first chapter, Midguard, was originally only a few hours in the original game and that became was fifty hours in the remkae...this is going to be one long video game. Even the creators seem to be uncertain how many chapters it will consist of since they are in development for the next chapter. The Midguard section alone feel like a standalone game so waiting for the next installment is not a detriment. I'm not really sure if it's the nostalgia, the gorgeous graphics or the game play but this is the best video game I've come across in years. I haven't really bought video games or played them in a long time. My peak was around 2000. Yet, this game had me reliving memories of gathering at my friend Mary Ellen's house to watch our friend Adam defeat Sephiroth. I really enjoyed the elaboration of the Midguard part of the story. I really fell in love with the character Jesse. She hardly registered in my memory when I originally played the game. All of the character development in this beloved video game proved to make it more endearing. I worried a little that it would change the feeling of the game itself but it just enhanced everything. ***Spoilers*** I'm guessing all hard core fans have played this game or watched a play through on Twitch by now. If you're not interested in playing the game but want to watch it for the story I suggest Ryukahr's play through on Twitch. The in game banter is absolutely awesome and not to be missed. In particular the scene where Cloud is transformed into a Drag Queen is hilarious. I love that they included that in the trailer. The statement that beauty is something that has to do with the heart and not with gender is really significant. That is very true, which is why I like Ru Paul's philosophy, even though I'm not into over-the-top makeup (or makeup at all really) or even the energy of drag queens. I think their gender bending is legitimate and really speaks to the fact that the soul is not male or female but can have preference for one or the other. I found it very funny to have that in a video game where most of the guys playing it are straight. I don't think I've ever met a gay guy that played video games. The Esoteric Element Video games, especially RPG's, are elaborate story telling. Final Fantasy Games have always been spiritual. Like many people Final Fantasy 7 was the first in the series that I played and I have always been impressed with the fact that it has a lot of spiritual elements. Materia is a term from alchemy. Sephiroth is the name of the points on the Kabbalah Tree of Life (and translates to Sapphire). Genova seems to be a play on words for the name Jehovah adding the word 'gene' to the beginning since Shinra was experimenting with the genetic material in Genova...and certainly could be said to be a sort of demi-urge force on the planet. These are the most obvious connections. Medgar may be a play on words for Midguard, the name for our planet on the Nordic Tree of Life Yggdrasil. Mako really seems to be synonymous with Nuclear power. I've always loved Aerith and the fact that she was an Ancient. The element where Shinra wants her to 'take them to the Promise Land' was larger in this version. I didn't really remember that part in the video game but I did remember that the background to the Ancients sounded very much like Atlantis. At the time that I played the game I remember thinking the story sounded familiar but I hadn't studied Atlantis as I have now. The similarities in the stories, knowing that the Atlantis stories consist of using technology that went awry and eventually destroyed their civilization when they encountered the emotion of fear for the first time...this echo in the video game is particularly potent.
That story, of course, of Atlantis according to Edgar Cacye is that they utilized Crystal's and the natural energy of the planet to generate power. They were souls that were experimenting and exploring what could be done with physical material reality. For the most part, at least at the start these beings were mostly non-physical. As they became more trapped in the physical world they became more dense. Fear led them to mis-align those Crystal's leading to the original deterioration of the land. The final land mass sunk under the sea when a meteor hit the planet. Those, like Athena Perkins, who remember Atlantis say that there were a lot of experiments conducted there. A website that I will be reviewing in a June Blog talks about experiments with time which is what we might be experiencing, in a way today, which they call Timeline Wars. That's something that would be in alignment with that civilization from my studies.
That's always been the story of the Ancients but it was told in words. To see it illustrated is just so much more impactful. I've always been curious about the people who were behind the story of Final Fantasy 7 since there is so much that's tied to esoteric studies. The Final Fantasy movie, Spirits Within, had a lot fewer esoteric ties but it still held to the idea of Spirit...and a Meteor (in the case of the movie the Meteor brought with it the 'ghosts' of creatures that had died on a destroyed planet that were interfering with human civilization- a very Scientology-esque type of story). Of course, the scriptures and Promise Land both sound like Christian references. New Timeline Of course, the bombshell with Chapter One was that the rest of the game will not be a straight up remake. The game really sped up at the end...and the next thing you know the Wraiths are explained. Jeremy Jahns, one of my favorite YouTube reviewers, said he hated the wraiths because he didn't understand what they were doing in the game. Turns out the wraiths were trying to preserve the original story line. When Cloud and the others fight and defeat the Harbinger of Fate it becomes clear that the story going forward is going to be different from the original. In particular, Aerith's love interest Zach from the game Crisis Core lives. That character dies at the end of that video game. That makes me really wonder if Aerith is going to die in this game or if she's going to have a totally different storyline. Will we get to play Zach chapter? That would be very cool. So, who knows what the new Timeline and story will hold for Final Fanast 7? I hope they stick close to that original plot with a few new twists but it's already been a lot of fun. Yet, once again, we have that annoying Timeline concept coming up. Yes, we can say that perhaps it's because this is the popular way to reboot old material giving it a fresh updated spin. A lot of the movies and video games (with Resident Evil and Doom being rebooted for example) that have been rebooted are ones that have nostalgia from my generation. Maybe we just wanted to see them with better graphics (I admit that was a major motivation for watching the first video of Ryukahr playing FF7 Remake to decide if it was worth the hefty price tag). To me, it's to pervasive and it is indicative of something going on at Collective Consciousness level. The story of humanity is being rewritten and a new timeline created. I love empty picture frames and blank canvases for their potential. I won't project anything on it for now but boy is it an exciting time to be alive and the future possibilities endless!
I love this YouTube Channel.
I've become a member of huge Disney Fans that started with the ResortTV1 Relaxing Strolls, Wizarding World of Harry Potter videos by Jenna that Maria was in and the Disney live streams. I first saw Maria and Chris when they were at Universal Studios with Jenna. The only time I've really seen Chris on screen for a long period of time was when he was doing the Wand Experience on ResortTV1 and that was hilarious. Really, the entire reason I subscribed to LBVTV is I love Maria and Chris on ResortTV1 (which I've also done a reivew of and may come out after this one). Maria and Chris are always doing something interesting with their channel. This particular video was earlier, 9am during the day my time West Coast and around Noon their time on the East Coast. They are not usually at parks but in this particular video they were Live Streaming. Maria's winning personality and presentation, however, makes all of their older video's watchable. Maria and Chris also have a line of T-Shirts that Chris designed that are simply amazing. I really want the Mandalorian "This Is The Way" shirt. In their videos they are always wearing one of their amazing t-shirts that they've designed. One of my favorite episodes of theirs is the one just prior to this one where they were doing a Harry Potter theme with the Sorting Hat. Not only was it fun to watch but if you are like me and like to be a part of the life chat it can be a lot of fun. I have to say this is one of the very few communities where I don't mind being noticed and it's nice to hear them say hi to me. For some reason it makes me feel weird on other channels but I really feel as though I'm part of a community with this one. So, if you're like me and you love Disney you absolutely need to subscribe to LBVTV on YouTube. This is fun wholesome entertainment you can put on with your toddler while your cleaning up the living room or sitting down to rest or even to have on the background as you go about doing other things (I love the ambient noises of the theme park videos in particular).
The Fall Equinox is upon us with all of it's beauty and bounty this year.
My Mulberry is already losing it's leaves (pictured above) while my cat and dog have shed their summer coats. Every Fall there is one day that day and night are equal because the sun passes over the equator...the Equinox and this years Equinox is a doozy. When we move into fall and winter we cross into the Receptive Feminine part of the year. The matriarchal Jewish religion, interestingly enough, has it's New Year start around the Fall Equinox nodding towards the feminine as the "head" while the masculine would be associated with the lower half of the body. Astrologically there is a lot going on in the chart the day of the Equinox. There is a Yod forming between Venus Conjunct Vesta with Jupiter and Neptune. The Venus-Vesta combination is interesting because when Venus first went Retrograde into May 13th she was conjunct Vesta too. Venus represents beauty, love and even compassion. Vesta represent selfless service to others. To combine the symbols it seems a beautiful selflessness is at the point of this Yod. Then we have Jupiter expanding on that need for selfless service and Neptune which brings in a timeless multidimensional element. When placed together it's expanded multidimensional beautiful service to others. At the same time we literally have the start of Libra season when the scales are balanced. This year I think we really need that balance to be regained because there is a lot that has become unbalanced. We really need Libra to come in and give that sense of levity. We also have Mars Retrograde squaring Saturn Retrograde perfecting. When planets are retrograde it's an internal process instead of an external one. What that means is that we might be running up against obstacles in our personal lives and on an internal level. When Saturn goes direct on Friday those walls may become something in the outer world. This is a beautiful chart and here is a embedded video as well as a link to one of my favorite astrologers talking about this chart: https://youtu.be/bRx93GbfBMg The Void I've noticed that it's at this time I tend to go into a receptive feminine mode. I used to fight it feeling as though I should continue to be productive as I was during Spring and Summer. At the start of the year and through summer I tend to be very productive. I have a lot of ideas and writing them all down tends to be difficult. This year I learned to harness that inspiration. By coming to an agreement with my husband that gives me 'me' days I was able to sit down and write ahead...I've literally written blogs through the rest of the year. In the past, I would often make the lists but fail to sit down and actually write. There is still activity as I decorate for the holidays but it's not really creating anything new and this year I'm doing less than normal as, in true 2020 fashion, some plans fell through. I'm really feeling what Jamie Sam's calls "The Void" this year. Maybe it's because of what astrologist David Palmer noted that all the planets are on one side of the Sun. Which does give rise to a sort of galactic imbalance in the solar system at the moment. Some have predicted that things will get very "hot" internally from this point with Mars in retrograde until November 13th. I don't feel that way at all...I just have this beautiful silence almost a hushed expectation. What is interesting is the lack of desire I have for going back to the way things were when I was inspired to do so much. I pulled Red Jasper for us for this week which was about endings. Red Jasper washes out the old stale energy with fresh vitality for a new start. I've seen plenty of synchronicities to confirm that with the Equinox we are ushering in a New Cycle. There will be a lot of fresh energy with Jupiter, Pluto and Saturn going direct this Lunar Cycle. Interestingly, this new fresh energy is represented in the News Cycle. I noticed that the Hot Topic of the moment, Trump potentially picking the new Supreme Court Judge, has pushed Coronavirus to the back burner. I mentioned that this change in the News Cycle is due to the two Timelines being completely separated with the second Harvest Moon. As we get closer to the election we may see Coronavirus take even more of a back seat to Coronavirus and by the time the election is over the worst of the Pandemic Scare will be in the past in this country because we may deal with new 'crisis' as the losing party reacts to their candidates defeat (both sides are so passionate that there will be shocks through the country in wake of the election). If it is a highly contested election because of mail in ballots, as David Palmer predicts, we may even end up with Pelosi as a temporary President which will infuriate quite a few. Either way, it's an indication that the bulk of Coronavirus will be a thing of the past come November as even the echo of that unfortunate Timeline is silenced. I've already felt a major shift in the energy. Having found spiritual answers that satisfy my desire...the desire to be a Seeker is gone. I had let go of worldly desires to some degree awhile ago when I realized I didn't desire much of anything. I have all that I need. Now, it's gone a little further. I realize I have the life most people are searching for...everything is complete from the devoted husband, the house down to plants in my garden. Yes, it could be improved but I don't feel as though I must have it...realizing I have what everyone else is pursuing really stopped me in my tracks. I was talking to my husband about this strange change where I don't feel a longing anymore. His suggestion was that we move up our plans to make the raised garden to give me a new hobby. I told him that if I have a raised garden I will be happy. If I never have a garden again aside from the few trees and rose bushes that we have in our yards I will be just as happy. My happiness is no longer attached to desire. I also fond that if I never feel inspired to write again that's ok. I know I probably will and that I have 15 blogs laid out...but I also know I have blogs written until December. I'm really resting into and enjoying the silence without the desire to share much. My meditations have become deeper and it's as lot easier to keep my seat for longer periods of time. I find that I really cherish the moments of meditation. Usually I feel as though I'm taking time from more 'worthy' pursuits when I sit down and meditate. I think that was a deep seated block within my mind that said that meditation was a 'waste of time.' That block has been dissolved to the point where I actually look forward to the time I meditate each night. One night I accidently meditated for over an hour and a half! Whereas before I was very rigid about giving myself only fifteen minutes each day. Perhaps when the uncertainty of the election is over I'll feel inspired again as we encounter the Fall Equinox. Right now I feel a sort of hushed expectation for the election (yes, there are some rowdy voices out there but they're few and far between). Right now I'm enjoying Shadow Season. I'm nestling into the womb of the void because I know darkness doesn't really exist. When scientists pointed their telescopes to the "dark part of the sky" they discovered it was the most densely packed area of the sky...it seemed dark because there was so much light. That's what I feel about Shadow Work. When you bring a candle into the darkness expecting to encounter skeletons sparkling objects of wonder come into view instead. My view of success has shifted considerably. Success is not being recognized or being held in esteem by others. When I evaluate my own personality success has to do with finding inner peace. That's what this void feels like to me. Peaceful...certainly the Wheel of the Year will turn and I will be inspired to act again but right now I'm really leaning into and enjoying the silence of the void.
This weeks stone is a root chakra stone called Red Jasper. This stone is connected with vitality and can help clear blocks in the root chakra. We have a little bit of work to do this work. Whenever the Root Chakra comes up there means there's energy, most often not ours, that needs to be purged. This continual process of purging, emptying our cup so that it can be filled once more, is perfectly normal. We are continuously beginning and ending new cycles.
The fact that this stone came up now shows that we have started a new cycle. We have a lot of energy this week. Back on the 9th Mars went Retrograde, then on the 12th Jupiter went direct, and finally this week Saturn is going to go direct (Pluto won't go direct for a couple of weeks). As a collective we have started a significantly different energetic cycle. I don't assign the terms 'good' or 'bad' to these cycles because events we consider 'negative' in hindsight can bring a lot of positive changes. Also, on the day of the New Moon we wrapped up Virgo season and went into Libra season. A lot of cycles have or will come to an end this week. I love these small pieces because they fit into my Medicine bag very nicely. Most of the Jasper that I have is Brecciated so I specifically picked this one up because it is such a solid red. I'm almost always carrying this particular piece of Jasper to help stimulate my Root Chakra which I have trouble 'grounding' into (due to traumatic past lives my soul doesn't quite like being tethered to this Avatar and seems to be ready to take off at moments notice if things end abruptly). This corresponds with the physiological level on the Maslow's Hierarchy Of Needs, the Devil Card in Tarot and Calcination in Alchemy. Taking all of this into consideration this stone appearance this week suggests that we need to go back to basics. Virgo season, which we are in midst of, corresponds to the health of the body. Are you drinking enough water? Is it time to implement a new exercise routine? How about trying some Breathwork exercises? There have been a lot of health concerns this year and that might come up this week. When talking about starting a new cycle I am back on YouTube. I decided that the Oracle Stone of the Week which has drawn a lot of attention on Instagram would fit on YouTube too. They are super simple videos but that's why I have time to put these together. I haven't abandoned doing more of the 7 Code on YouTube but it will probably happen after I publish my book.
Happy Rosh Hashanah!
RoshHashanah is the Jewish New Year. Obviously, the Jewish calendar is based on the lunar cycle. The Hebrew words "Rosh Hashanah" translates as "Head of the year" which would August the feet. If you take the time to study the Kabbalah you'll realize that the human body is a powerful symbol. In a way, a year can be personified as much as any other element of our reality. Life is a replicating fractile pattern and once you really get one of those systems- whether it's Alchemy, the Tarot or Astrology...all the rest fall into place. The biblical name for the holiday Yom Teruah which translates as the 'day of shouting' or 'day of blasting' which is symbolized by the Shofar. If you know the bible than you know the first action that the Creator took when creating the world was 'a word' but the word can be translated as a 'shout' as well. The ceremony of blowing the Shofar is an echo of that new start to the creation. I follow a Rabbi named Aaron L. Raskin who recently shared a video about his predictions for 2020. I will include the YouTube link and embed the video below. Interestingly he believes that the Hebrew Year of 5781 is going to be one of miracles. The fascinating thing is this starts in September which really seems to be a month of darkness on the media's world stage. Interestingly, numerically speaking that becomes the number three which is a very harmonious number. Again, it's a matter of it always looks darkest just before the dawn. While I think that we are in midst of the dawn and this, for some of us who've done the work, this is time to sit back eating popcorn to see what we thought were ripples in the collective when we first started on this path transform the planet. What I want to cover is the fact that the name of this year are two of the Hebrew Alphabet Letters: Pei Alef. Let's meditate on these beautiful letters so we can know what this name implies for the coming year. As I explained before each Hebrew letter has it's own personality so they are worth studying on their own. They are each associated with a Tarot Card as well so we will look at those as well. I did make YouTube Videos on the symbolism of all of these which you can find at the following links for an even more in depth perspective: Pei: https://youtu.be/7N93Yn-vSLk Alef: https://youtu.be/hM72U8XFtdg The Tower Card: https://youtu.be/bEpBkUkI9XQ The Fool Card: https://youtu.be/ambpl0QfEQs
 Pei
In summary Pei represents speech. The glyph itself, as Hoffman points out, looks like a mouth with a tooth. The tooth itself is a Yod which is referred to as "fate" or "finger of God." Pei starts the word for Doorway. We literally create reality with our speech and so we create these doorways into new worlds. Pei is a "double bodied" letter associated with both speaking and silence. There are many times when silence is the appropriate response- such as when someone is making a speech or reading a story. Pei can also be seen to represent praying which involves speaking aloud and meditation which requires silence. Pei in the Tarot is associated with the Tower Card. Words, or the story we tell ourselves, is what forms the Tower of our self-awareness. Part of spiritual work is for us to slowly disassemble that tower due to the realization that it keeps the Creator Out and the more we are willing to be our authentic selves the more likely we will find happiness and peace no matter the external circumstances. As far as 2020 is concerned it has been words and speech- in particular media- that has had a lot of influence on the populace. There is both "fake news" and "facts" but it is only with discernment that we can tell the difference. As always, a good indicator is that if something causes fear it's false and if something causes joy it's usually true. Also fascinating we can look at the 7 code and find out what process we are going through during this decade. Pei is the 2nd Hebrew Letter on the Path of the Seeker and of course The Tower Card is the second Tarot Card depicting the Path of the Seeker (see my YouTube videos above). Keeping that in mind we can correlate this to Alchemy and in Alchemy what we have is Dissolution. This entire decade, then, being associated with the Hebrew letter of Pei is about Dissolution. We are dissolving the systems that were in place. This ties right in with the Jupiter/Pluto/Saturn mashup in Capricorn that's pulling out the weeds in our systems.
Alef
The first letter of the Hebrew letter it is full of potential. This letter makes no sound of its own. Alef is considered feminine. "The sages regard Aleph as signifying that everything each of us accomplishes, however important in daily life, first emanates from stillness and silence." Pg20 Also interestingly Alef represents number one in the Hebrew tradition. Not surprisingly since Aleph looks as though it's going to go strutting off...it represents the Fool Card in Tarot. Really, the first 1 year in a decade is when the decade really takes hold and sets the tone. I don't find it surprising that we have an election this year in the United States that will really change this country. Whether Biden or Trump wins this country will never be the same after this election year. The Fool Card represents the endless potential of a the future. This is that blank page that you find when you first open the book. Nothing is really started yet. This is the intro credits to the new movie that we are about to experience. Collectively we've come to the edge of our experiences in 2020. Some countries have literally unleashed squadrons of drones on their own citizens to enforce the completely nonsensical unproven scientifically practice of wearing masks and social distancing. While at the same time the scientifically proven method of Herd Immunity is being ignored...even though it's been our way of dealing with the Flu and Common Cold (which, technically, all Coronavirus's are related to) for millennia. We now have experienced the worst case scenario on our own home soil (WWIII was cancelled)
 Conclusion
Looking at Pei and Aleph side by side we can see a little bit of a story. I see someone walking away from gossip. As the Media becomes more frantic to control the narrative about people's lives people have become flooded. I think it's time we moved on from paying attention to anyone's narrative by our own and even then when you hit a certain point on the Path of the Seeker you let it all go. Even as something is happening you may label it, "This is interesting," but then instead of making that experience last or holding onto it as some sort of definition of who you are...you let it go and move on with your life. Pei is the mouth but Aleph doesn't have a sound of it's own. There is an interesting contrast there. The mouth is also opening away from Aleph as the soundless letter marches away. The Tower Card and The Fool card is also an interesting combination. The Fool, when he sets out on the Path of the Seeker inevitably begins to disassemble the Tower. If you set those two cards next to one another the Fool is on a cliff above the Tower looking up at the Sun instead of at the Tower below. The Sun in the Fool Card represents The Creator...so it's the image of someone looking to the Creation instead of the Created. That really does sound like the promised age of Aquarius. Now, I'll share my opinion on the Age of Aquarius in a blog in January...probably right before I release a series of blogs on the astrological planets and their place on the 7 code. The book Kabbalistic Astrology gave me the answer I needed to really figure out where the planets correspond to the process. So, those are going to be some really fun posts. Sources: Hoffman, Edward. After watching people do reviews for the Food and Wine Festival at Epcot I was really excited something similar opened at Knotts. I've missed theme parks this year. My husband and I usually go to Knotts for Scary Farm in September to celebrate our anniversary early. On top of that we also planned to take Michelle to Disneyland for the first time this year. We were both very disappointed that the parks remained closed. Knotts, however, came up with the ingenious plan to reopen with "A Taste Of Knotts." That means I got to live my dream of being a Foodie for a day and taking Michelle to a theme park- granted without the rides turned on. The park was not crowded at all, Knotts sanitized absolutely everything very thoroughly, and the food was amazing. The guests were hyper vigilant about keeping their masks on and social distancing. There were absolutely no rebels when we were at the park but we went at Noon and left at five because the Little One usually gets cranky about then. When we arrived we were given lanyards with a list of all if the food in the park. Between my husband and I we tried ten different food and drinks. Hands down my favorite was the Boysenberry Butter Corn on the Cob with Gotija cheese. I have a picture of that below. My husband's favorite was the pita and vegetables with hummus, spinach artichoke and sour cream with chives dip. As far as drinks goes I loved the Boysenberry Smoothie and that will be a must buy every time I go to the park from now on. My husband loved the Unicorn Icee pictured on the left. Overall the entire day was a blast even without the rides. Just the ambiance of Knotts made it worth the experience! Knotts absolutely needs to do more of these! I know from now on I will want to do the Boysenberry Festival! If you have the opportunity to go to something like this (Taste of Knotts ended on September 13th) I really recommend it! **Update** There will be Taste Of Fall-O-Ween event at Knotts and I plan on attending, although I don't know what day, https://www.knotts.com/play/events/taste-of-fall-o-ween. |
