I love symbols. I've studied symbolisim and the the meaning of symbols for about twenty years along my Spiritual Path. I've come to some personal conclusions on the point. That's all this is...just a sharing of my perspective.
As I say below symbols are personal. To me the American Flag is a symbol of pure brotherly love. People can point at every flaw and mistake the United States has made. Yet, our country was founded on ideas based on pure intentions to ensure that each man had the ability to pursue the life he wished. For someone who highly values my own freemdom to choose and to live the life I want there can be no other country for me to call home. What is the importance of a symbol? The importance is mostly decided by the person who views the symbol. Symbols, on most levels are a highly subjective personal experience and meaning. Symbols are created to express or represent something. There are many levels to creating and understanding a symbol and what it represents. Songs, pictures, and objects are all examples of symbols. They can also contain several symbols within them. Are Symbols Sacred? As one of the highest form of communication Symbols are defintely sacred...but not more then human life or Free Will. The very way that two people can look at the same symbol and come to different conclusions is the essence of the experience of Free Will in a Subjective Reality. We all live within our own personal reality bubble that doesn't have to overlap with anyone else. However, I wouldn't walk into a Christian church while they are singing hymns with a upside down cross that's been set on fire. Not only would they probably kill me but it would be the epitome of disrespect for the people who hold the cross as an important symbol for their religion (I love the cross symbol so I would never do that but it gets the point across). National Symbols The United States Flag and the National Anthem are both National Symbols. These symbols were created to strike patriotisim into the hearts of the people that dwell in this nation. That was to serve to forge a sense of unity and Oneness among the people uniting them under the same banner and idea. That Oneness or Unity represented by that flag includes all of the ancestors and prior citizens of the United States as well as all of those who will come after us. This includes Native Americans who became citizens, slaves of all types, slave owners, but mostly free men and women of all races and creeds who came here hoping for a better life. Those people are what, in essence, the United States flag stands for...a bunch of people who've gathered together because we believe in the Right to Pursue Happiness in our own way without anyone interferring unless it infringes on another. In essence, the United States is about pursuing individuality while maintaining brotherly love. The United States isn't perfect but of all of the Nations on this Earth I think we've come the closest to living the most important spiritual teachings (no matter how corrupt some people try to interet us to be). The United States Flag and the United States Anthem is a representation of unity...a representation of very person that is a United States citizen or who may be a United States citizen in the future. Displaying and respecting national symbols in a political setting makes absolute sense. However, it does not make sense to have them at a performance...whether atheletic, musical or a comedy stand up show. The National Anthem/Flag and The NFL I'm not sure why the national anthem and flag are involved with sports. I understand with Baseball as that's considered an American past time. I think, perhaps, it's to show that even if we divide ourselves into different teams we are still One as a Nation...despite choosing to support different teams. However, since the NFL players are using the National Anthem as a way to make political statements...I think it should just be pulled from the games. As someone observed on Facebook it's not like they put that part of the game on television. If the media hadn't reported on it and blew it out of proportion it wouldn't have been an issue. Only the people at the game would have known. So to me, I'd prefer that the NFL stop playing the National Anthem and raising the flag at their games. That seems to be the perfect solution to this problem. Patriotic themes don't belong in any form of entertainment. That's all the NFL is...a form of entertainment and nothing else. Removing the flag and the anthem is the best solution. Conclusion I have no problem with people protesting when approriate. At my place of work if I protested the National Flag or Anthem in some way, since it's a customer service job, I'd be fired. That's the way it is in most of corporate United States...if you have an opinion you leave it at home. When you're at work your an actor on a stage whether it's for $1 or a million. I think that on a personal level the fact these people can be citizens of the United States and yet demonstrate that they are not part of the Nation...which the flag and the anthem represent...represents a two faced charecter. They are not dedicated to unity but to dividing people. They are saying they are seperate individuals who's desires/needs/will outweighs that of all of the United States Citizens of the past an future. The flag and anthem do not need to be displayed before a form of entertainment. To me it's a bit demeaning that it was included in the first place. The flag and anthem should only be used when people are gathered to consider or debate politics. Outside that realm it doesn't serve the purpose or intent for which they were created. I do think it's important that people remember that the Flag and anthem doesn't just represent the President or Slave Holders or Cops or even 'just' our Miltiary Men and Women that have given up their lives in service to this nation. The flag represents every United States Citizen past, present and future. That flag represents the hopes and dreams of countless millions...and to disrespect that is to disrespect the spirit of this nation. I don't care if they don't like Trump. They can come up with another way to give him the middle finger...disrespecting the Symbol of this Country is just wrong. They can say they hate Trump all they want but to show disrespect to every past, present and future United State Citizen is wrong. This nation has been divided since 2014...which was way before Trump came along. Also, for the other players to show 'unity' with the ones who disrespected the flag...basically saying no one can tell them what to do...shame on each and every one of those players. I hope to hear they have the worst seasons of their life. In my opinion, if people don't want to stand in unity they are more than welcome to die alone for what egotistical cause they claim to represent. I, for one, will not join them in creating disannonce within the Spirit of our Nation without purpose. I stand for the National Anthem and for our Flag...I stand for a United States that is United sas One in Spirit...not opinion, not in religion, not in choices of entertainment or whatever else. I'm against Group Think but I'm sick of people looking at their fellow Untied States Citizens with uncertainty in their eyes because of this fake hatred promoted by celberties, sports atheletes and the news. The people of the United States love their fellow men and women. We are one of the most giving and charitable nations in the country. The majority of us would love to end war, hunger and homelessness...and we are trying. Our country was founded on principals, no matter what the personal lives of the people who penned those documents, based on a pure intention. This fighting about whether or not to show respect for the Spirit of this Nation is...disappointing.

I loved this book.
I highly recommend reading this book if your on the Path of the Seeker. There is so much wisdom and knowledge packed into this book I'm sure I'll pick it up and read it throughout my life time. Jason Lotterhead speaks so glibly that it is defintely a book that must be read more then once to soak up all of the information. As I go through and read books I usually place a post it marker on a page with a particular idea of interest. I had to restrain myself from placing a marker on every page. Jason has the ability to speak in such a down to Earth pracitcal and applicable manner that all of that airy fairy mumbo jumbo you hear is simply explained...in easy to understand terms (I do not have the words to express how grateful I am for that!). This book covers how the Major Arcana of the Tarot are archetypes for a person's life. The different cards actually represent universal powers that have influenec on a persons life. However, in discussing the archetype of the Tarot Cards he goes into the Hindu, Kabbalah and several other systems of spirituality mining them for the same universal themes that exist within all of them. The last 7 Major Arcan cards, according to Jason C. Lotterhead, represent the spiritual path. I found this so pertinent that I had to include it in my Synchronizing The Maps of the Psyche on Youtube series. The book is based on a class Jason Lotterhead taught every Thursday Night..hence the long title. As he says in the book and during several of the discussions on the cards, 'As they say about chicken soup, it wouldn't hurt you." At the start of each chapter Jason gives a lecture on the current card. After that is a transcript from an actual class. I think it's amazing how, through this book, we can go back in time and listen in on this course that he taught. I'm just going to list some of my favorite quotes: "Isn't everyboyd's life karmic, though? No. I would say that a most people's lives are karmic, but not everybody's. There is a minority who have gotten out of it. They have learned to create their own world. That is literally the world they live in. Karma works through our desire-nature. If we don't have anyting in us that reacts tot he world at large, there is no karma. You might say, "Well, then you're dead," but that's not so because if you want to use your desire-nature, it becomes like your automobile. You can get in it and go anywhere you please." Pg 13 "In Ancient Egypt the word "magic" meant what we mean by "science." You know that in the wold days the magicians were also the priests. They had all the learning, whatever magic and whatever science there was. They preserved and taught their knowledge. That was part of the priesthood. Key 1 is Hermes Trimegistus, magician and priest. In the old days Hermes symbolized the principle that actually liberates the soul. The problem of liberating the soul hasn't changed any, and Hermes still represents the enlightened intellect. The higher mind actually leads the lower mind toward the light. If we didn't have some light we wouldn't know hwere to go and we could wander around indefintely. Once we get the Divine Idea, we hol on to it by repitition." Pg 22 "Meditation, listening to your inner High Priestess, allows you to see the whole picture of yourself and to arrive at a sensible response to the great question, "What is it that I really want?" Do you want to be happy? Or do you have some ambition in your mind? Happiness is not the path of ambition. Happiness is your natural condition if your not bugging yourself. You don't have to be smart to tell the difference between bliss and pain; this is a simple arrangement we have in ourselves. But if you achieve bliss, don't tell anyone, because they may hang you or stone you to death out of jealousy. The trouble with ambition is that you can never become satisfied. You never reach any final goal. You'll simply wear yourself out, much like the old Greek myth of Sisyphus. You roll the stone up the mountain and as soon as you get it ther eit rolls down, and you have to roll it up again." pg. 50 "I get confused about all the types of consciousness. We have just thre ekinds of consciousness that we're selling around here. One is self-consciousness, which is something we are all familar with, although I must say that most people haven't the foggiest notion of what it really is. Then we have the subconscious, which covers everything that we think of as being automatic. It has an immense area of control, it also nurtures us spiritually. Without the riches that we have in subconsciousness, our lives would be dull indeed. Superconsciousness joins the other two and makes sense out of their interworkings. The universe is a complex place, as we all knonw, and the polarities that exist between self-conscious and subconscious, male and female, stimulus and response, are so vast that it's staggering. Superconsciousness has the ability to look at both sides and reconcile them." pg 57 "REASON is the key word in connection with the Emperor. If you wonder about the importance of reason, consider what un-reason is like. Divine Reason passeth all understanding, which means that we can't really understand what God is up to. So the best thing we can do is to apply reason to our own particular universe, the universe of ourselves, in the fond hope that if we get that in order, some special good will come of it. Actually, setting one's house in order is an essential aspect of liberation. In practical terms this means the elimination of things you don't want in your house." pg. 72 "What's your interperation of that, since you obviously don't take it literally? Have you read the Bhagavad-Gita? It talks about the same battle. There is only one battle. It is between your Higher Self and the ego with its whole family of illusions. There's no question about hte similarity between Key 7 and the image of Krishna, who is the charitoeer in teh Gita. Krishna and Jesus Christ both represent your True Self, the one you must rely on for victory. Because of that Presecence, the battle is already won. In this connection, you'll notice that The Devil in Key 15, who symbolizes egotisim, has an inverted pentagram on his forehead. The victor of Key 7 wears the pentagram right side up. This reversal indicates the contrasting metnal states symbolized by these two Keys, which are polar opposites in astrology (Cancer and Capricorn) as well as the Taort Tableau. The Devil is at the peak of wildness and the Chariot is very controlled. The Devili sits on half a cube instead of the whole cube of Key 7. This suggests that the ego has a half-baked notion of what is going on." Page 128 Conclusion The Tarot, much like all oracle cards, can be a fantastic way to study your own psyche. I highly recommend this book to anyone who is interested in the subject. Seriously, go out and buy this now! You can buy this book through Amazon
This video came about primarily because I meant to talk about atonement much as I did in my last blog.
What I found was that I really didn't have the foundation laid in my YouTube videos for someone to understand how I approach At-one-ment. Although I believe that it acn alleviate a lot of suffering if people look at that topic that way most people wouldn't be able to take that conceptual leap. I was going to follow the outline of my last blog on the subject but the video would just be too long. I like to keep my videos around five minutes...because who doesn't have time for a five minute video? This is one of those concepts that was huge in helping me to understand the world. As far as I'm concerned there might not be ably physical proof about life after death...but there is a lot of documentation and testimony. Heck, in India there is a part of the government in India that investigates and verfies the past life memories of kids. To me that's absolutely fascinating. I think it takes a level of wilfull ignorance to ignore the proof of life after death...not to mention reincarnation. When someone does study the subject there is an extraordinary level of consistancy. I used to love to read the individual stories when I was younger but I've read so many now it's a little boring. Since I was born with past life memories and feelings that carried into this life I know without a doubt in my own life that life in between lives does exist. Yet, that's a personal choice that each person must come to a conclusion on their own. A lot of this idea is based on the concept of Life in Between Lives and how that works. So, for some this will be extremely hard to perceive let alone swallow. For people on the Path this may be a revelation or it may be just an ah-ha! moment. As always, the meaning is in the eye of the beholder. I plan on posting Travelers Notes once a month. Currently, I'm working up to my approach to At-One-Ment and why it's a beneficial shift in perception. I hope that the concept of the Illusion of Seperation and why it exists helps makes sense of this world...so it appears a little bit less chaotic. With all of the potential for another 'convergence' where 9/23 might mean something I figure I would talk about a crucially misunderstood concept.
Atonement. We hear that word and people will go quiet. The church says we must atone for a our sins. Typical churches teach that this word means punishment. In fact, this is the ultimate punishment. When we think of all of the horrendous ways people are punished on this planet the idea of punishment from God must be so much worse! At- One- Ment The strange thing is that during his readings, even though Edgar Cacye was a devout typical Christian steeped in dogma, he would pronounce this word as At-One-Ment. This doesn't suggest that the word means that you must pay or sacrfice something for your sins. This was the first time that I really thought about the word. Then when I was reading the book A Course In Mircales...there was that word Atonement again alongside the concept of Oneness. When you look up the etyimology (the history of how this word evovled) it means One and Unity. Here is an article on the subject: https://cohabitationchronicles.wordpress.com/2010/06/16/the-etymology-of-atonement/. Why IS This Imprortant? The church says we have to atone for our sins....but what does oneness and unity have to do with our sins? That sentence no longer makes sense once we know the true meaning of the word. The church has it all wrong. We don't have to pay or be punished for our sins. Undoubtedly, they probably knew the true meaning of atonement. Rome undoutebdly formed councils and decided what was best to preserve their government and their rule of the world. They always chose in favor of what would give the clergy more power. They told people that they had to go to the Catholic Church, obey the Popes orders, and their priests orders...in order to atone for their sins. They controlled people through theif fear and set themselves up as the only authority that could help them. That's not what the bible says or what Jesus taught. Yet, chruchs that broke away from the Catholic Church still teach we must atone for our sins. This ultimate error is to be blamed for a lot of atrocities and a lot of confusion in our world. Oneness Jesus stated in John 10:30, "I and the father are one." By claiming Jesus was God in the flesh the Catholic church really messed up his message. Jesus never claimed to be the only child of God. He never told people that they were seperate from God. In fact, he told them, "Very truly I tell you, whoever believes in me will do the works I have been doing and they will do even greater things then these..." (John 14:12) He said to a woman, 'Your faith has healed you." (Mark 5:34) He does not tell the woman he healed her...but it was her faith that healed her. He does not say that he alone can peform miracles because he is the only son of god...he just says that those who believes in him will be able to perofrm the miracles too. Believing in him means you believe in what he is teaching... He taught Oneness. "If anyone says he loves God but hates his brother, he is a liar. For anyone who does not love his brother whom he can see, cannot love God who he has not seen. And he gave this command: Anyone who loves god must love his brother and sister." 4:21 This passage doesn't make any sense. What does loving someone who is a foul human being have to do with loving God? Because they are one and the same. There is just one Being here, experiecing itself through multipe avatars...but at the very core we are all one Being. We Exist On Multiple Levels In the realm of the material reaily we are whatever name we were given at the birth of our body. We are disconnected from the One Creator who is not directly consciously involved with this plane of existence. Intsead, the Unconscious Collective forms and creates this reality on an improvised level as we experience material existence. The experience of seperation is so alien to our Spirit/Soul that it causes all kinds of imbalances specifically because we don't know why we feel incomplete. In the realm of spirit we are a specific energy field with a specific tone or signature that was emanated by the One Creator. We are a tongue of flame in the fire. We speak to other energy fields telepathically by focusing on that particular energy field. We are aware of and conneted to the One Creator although the One Creator remains a mystery. In Spirit we have a sort of hive mind. On this level we are asleep when we are in the Material Realm. We can still participate to a certain degree but most of our 'energy' is focused on the Material Realm. In spirit, there are those who do not incarnate. They will come to know themselves as the themselves but at a very slower pace then those of us who choose to experience the Illusion of Seperation. On another level, we are always and forever a part of the One Creator. The One Creator is the fire. There is nothing that exists that is not part of the One Creator. We are always One with the One Creator. There is no existence outside of the One Creator...just the illusion of Seperation. By turning inward and focusing on our Soul and exploring ourselves that is made in the image of the One Creator we can come to know the One Creator. Persona When something happens and a person doesn't like how we act we say, "Oh that's just my personality." as though that's a defense and that personality actually exists. Our personality, we think, is what makes us different from everyone else. Yet, we don't really know our own personality and once we realize how fluid it really is we can change it at will. I ran across this in the book I'm currently reading by Joseph Campbell called Pathways to Bliss. "Persona means masks." We come down here and we create a persona...a personality. A mask through which we see the world. We hide our true authentic self, the soul/spirit, behind this mask. We become a charecter...but that charecter is not our authentic self. Each of us wears a mask in this life but once you grasp Oneness you realize it's the same essence that peeks out from behind each of those masks. The Mask is temporary. In John Van Auken's book, Edgar Cacye On The Revelation, he really boils down the tough lesson we come to Earth to learn. "In order to be true companions to God...they had to freely know themselves to be themselves and yet choose to be One with God." Unity Mind I have an entire blog where I explored the concept of humanity going towards Unity Mind. The reason I rejected it is because we are not meant to, in this realm, experience Unity Mind. We experience Unity Mind in Spirit. There we can think to each other, it's an innate ability of Spirit, and we can share thoughts...we are also aware of the One Creator's thoughts. On Earth, we experience the Illusion of Seperation. We experience this Illusion so we can learn about ourselves. Just think about the thousands of quizs and personality tests that promise to reveal something about you that you don't already know...as though you are a mystery to yoruself. Well, you are a mystery to yourself until you meditate and really turn to an inward study. That's why the Illusion of Seperation was such an important stage in our development. That allowed us to know who we are on an individual level. That allowed us to deveop and learn our own innate abilities and interests. In Spirit, because we experience such connection we are more like thought projections of the One Creator. With no true will of our own. We simply did as the One Creator wanted because we had no ability to say no. We saw the perfection in the action that we felt the impulse to take..but in such a situation can you actually have a choice? Perhaps, as humans evolve we can become more connected. I think in this New Age we will be...but that illusion of Seperation will remain...because of Free Will. Free Will I've said it before and I'll say it again. The reason that the aliens won't land tomorrow and Jesus won't come walking right back into the world today is because of Free Will. Not many people are really convinced or believe what is neccesary to allow that to happen. To allow for Jesus to walk back into this reality, as he walked out of it, we have to give up our belief that physical Death is the end of our existence. The majority of people are not at that level yet. A good percentage has hit that level. The tipping point has been reached. Within the next thousand years...if not one hundred...I think the fear of death will be removed. There will be an understanding that we are in a dream. There has to be a critical mass, though, of people who awaken to the nature of reality and their Higher Selves before that can happen. Otherwise, it would violate the ability of people to choose. One of the brilliant things John Van Auken said was that as we enter the Golden Age fewer negative people will be born. They won't be able to incarnate here because they won't be able to tolerate the energy. Splitting Timelines Splitting Timelines is a good way to make the sepeartion between the people who continue to walk a positive path of energy and the people who can't keep up happen. Maybe to the people who can't handle the positive energy those of us in California and what not cease to exist. California has some of the most well meaning positive loving people I've ever met. In fact, too often we are way too nice. So, as this Splitting takes place...in one Timeline certain areas will be destroyed and in another Timeline it was the area that was spared that's destroyed. This allows those who want to go into the New Age to depart from those who can't. Conclusion Once you touch and believe in the Oneness beyond any doubt you can't hate anyone on Earth. That's what At-One-Ment really means. To realize that you are One with the Creator and wilingly turn your Free Will over doing the work of the One Creator on planet Earth is At-One-Ment. You see other people that they made mistakes while in the Flesh..which is like making a mistake in a video game. They've been mislead by a system that doesn't allow for us to believe in anything but the pursuit of material reality. There is so much beyond Material Reality. Plus, you know, beyond a shadow of a doubt that you will always exist...that there is no end to you. Your mortal body may be destroyed but your soul can never be destroyed. How can any being or beings destroy what the One Creator has made? That would make them as powerful as the One Creator and that's nonsense. No one can be more powerful than All-That-Is. As Jesus said, "The Spirit is willing but the flesh is weak." (26:41) I hope this helps you in your Journey on the Path. Until next week, enjoy the fascinating times we live in. This book was absolutely mind blowing and it's one of my absolute favorites in my collection.
I've always been fascinated with book of Revelation in the Bible. I never really saw the doomsday significance in it that was applied with such fascinating fervor as the Left Behind series of books. Buying this book, for me, was always a no brainer. I really don't know what took me so long to buy it. I have 29 markers in this book because there was something so aboslutely amazing on that page I wanted to know right where to find the quote or the passage of interest. Sometimes, instead of reading I just want to look through books at wors of wisdom. There is a lot of wisdom in this book. The heart of this book is that Revelation was not a Doomsday Vision. Instead, it was a mystic describing his experience and his Spiritual Awakening. What is described is what the mystic experienced while following the Path and it's encoded so that people who are not Spiritual Seekers are simply confused and mislead. I have learned this is how many of the great teachings were handled. Mostly because people who did Awaken to their personal relationship with the divine are usually murdered by other human beings. Usually, like Yeshua, they were killed for blasphemy. This book is extremely helpful in dispelling all of the fear mongering from the relgion. Here are some quotes: "Christ' is a transliteration of the Greek word Christos , which literally means 'the anoited one,' a stage in the preperation of the high priest to enter the holy of holies to meet God directly. The priests head was to be anoited with oil, usually olive oil, "Then shalt thou take the anoiting oil, and pour it upon his head and anoint him. (Exodus 29:7)" page14 "Since the created companions of God chose to disobey, to do as they wanted rather than as they were told, they became like God, knowing good and evil. Inu one respect, this was a natural stage of their development into true companions, for they were to become full, cocreative companions with God, not just children or subordinates. They had to freely know themselves to be themselves and yet choose to be one with God. Only in this way could they be companions that chose the companionship, through the good times and bad. However, God did not want this rebellious energy to go on forever, so immortality was lost, and death began." pg 28 " From Cacye's perspective, this figure as the deeper, higher spiritual self. To John, this figure said, "Do not be afraid, I am the first and the last, an;d the living One; and I was dead but behold I am alive forevermoe, and I have the keys to death and Hades." (John 1:17-18) As with John, our spiritual selves made in the image of God annd and destined tobe eternal companions to God , have been dead to us and will remain so until we give birth to them again, as Jesus instructed Nicodemus (John 3:14) The first instruction from the spiritual self was to the seven spiritual centers of the body, represented by the various sevens throughout the initial part of revelations.... "The idea that the body possesses seven centers or chakrasthat may be used for spiritualization dates back to ancient times..." pg. 40 "Spiritualizing the body has reached such a level in this vision that our attention now turns to spiritualizing the mind and applying the wisdom in ones life. In this section, we will discover our mind and its perspective on the size and nature of heaven. We will meet two witnesses who have helped us know the truth innately and emotionally. We will face up to two beasts that have and do still challenge us ini this spirtualization process: fear and double-mindedness. We will witness the birth of our new selves and face our greatest accuser. We will overcome a flood of emotions and the fall of our egocentric selves. Finally we will unite with the spirtual portion of our minds and be judged according to all we have done with the gifts of free will and life." pg. 64. "...once again, Edgar Cacye, from his deep, meidtative state, identifed the two witnesses of the Revelation as parts of our individual minds (281-33). One witness is the mental-physical mind and the other is the mental-spiritual mind- one the 'conscious' mind and one the 'superconscious' mind." Pg 71 "To be divine and human and to remain sane, with enthusiasim for both the inner and outer life, require that we maintain a balance between our dual natures, our dual realities. If we are too much into the outer personality and outer life, we feel disconnected from our inner selves, and the outer activities consume us. If we are too much into the inner self and inner life, we feel disconneted from other people, and the inner activities cause us to "space out" on physical life and its importance to our soul's growth. The inner and the outer must be maintained in balance. We must budget our time to allow for both, just as we must balance sleep and wakefulness, eating and activity, work and recreation, companionship and solitude. Our inner nature and consciousness must be given their share of attention and opportunity; as well, wemust give our outer nature and consciousness their share." pg. 144 "When Edgar Cacye was asked, "In what form doe sthe antichrist come...? he responded, "In the spirit of that opposed to the spirit of truth." He went on to explain that, "The fruits of the spirit of the Christ are love, joy, obedience, long-suffering, brother love, kindness. Against such there is no law. The spirit of hate, the anti-Christ, is contention, strive, fault-finding, lovers of self, lovers of praise. Those are the anti-Christ, and take possession of groups, masses, and show themselves even in the lives of men." (281-16). A much shorter book that holds just as much punch but doesn't interpert the book of revelation is Spiritual Breakthrough by John Van Auken. Yes, they cover many of the same topics but that one is much shorter. On The Revelation is 305 pages and Spiritual Breakthrough is 165. I highly recommend Edgar Cacye on The Revelation by John Van Auken. You can buy it through the Edgar Cacye A.R.E. library or Amazon. You can also buy Spiritual Breakthrough through the Edgar Cacye A.R.E. library or Amazon.
First, let me start by wishing a Happy Birthday to my dearest friend Jennifer Lara! It's rare for a post and a video to land on someones birthday so I'm noting the occasion. <3
Departure This week I thought I was going to make a Traveler's Note's video. A horrible headache and about nine rough drafts later...and it wasn't going to happen. Then I sat down at the computer and began to write this and it just flowed. In fact, last night I was so excited about what I had written (I write the content and then read it when I record my voice...it's not improvision) I had to do a full body relaxation meditation in order to sleep. I thought about doing this from a very academic point of view. Using a fairy tale we all know as an example...but that didn't feel right. I'm sure people would have wondered what it had to do with them. So, I went for it...describing the Seekers Path in each part of the Hero's Journey. I think it's so important for people to choose to be their own Journey. For people to see that they are worthy and don't need to be lead. Nor do they need anyone as an emissary to the One Creator. They can access the One Creator directly. The Temple I also loved how it just flowed into the concept of the Temple. That's one of the concepts I'm most passionate about...the inner temple and how these outer examples so many cultures have were used as a learning tool. I did notice that in the quote from Laird Scranton I left out the Dogon Granary which is also an aligned shrine/temple. It was not part of the section I marked in his book. I really want to cover the Dogon Granary and the Eight Stages of the Egg of Amma because I think it's so important and ties in with all of the Maps I'm covering. I think there are a total of six different examples of these maps through different cultures... Anyhow, as I pointd out in this video whether it's the End of the Age (Kali Yuga, Hopi Age of the Animal, or the End of the Age of Pisces) when multiple groups have the same thing that's powerful evidence to me that it's something real. Maybe it's a shared experience that they are tuning into on the Spiritual level as they all tune into the same One Creator. Maybe they had the same teacher at some point or it comes from the same source system taught to all of them. Either way, it shows we have more in common in the different spiritual approaches then differences. I hope everyone finds some value in this one because I so enjoyed making this video. I can't wait to make the rest because this is so interesting for me. I'm learning as I go and you are all Hero's for making this journey on the Path with me.
This week I took the week off with my husband. Both of us are on vacation and my primary goal was to take my dog, Angel, to the beach (the one on the right...on the left is Apollo and he's not as old but got to go along with the pack). I can't say why this was such a huge thing to me but I wanted her to see the ocean before she crosses the rainbow bridge.
The last few years we've been overcoming so many obstacles we haven't been to take the dogs with us places as I used to take Angel. She grew up in the San Bernardino mountains in snow and walking along the lake. She went to the desert with me a few times. She even went on a trip to a waterfall. The only place she hadn't gone was the ocean. There were a few times this year I thought we were going to lose her. Those were scary moments and even I had to admit this year that she is going blind. She has cataracts in her eyes and sometimes she has good days and sometimes she has bad ones. The beach, I felt, would be one last hurrah. I could let her go once I took her everywhere so she could experience everything. As my husband said, I needed this beach trip more then she did. That makes it sound like a useless act of futility to make me happy that had no effect on her. From one perspective it was, but from another perspective it was an ultimate demonstration of the unconditional love I have for this farting, diahherra plagued old dog who really just cares about when she's going to get fed next and get a belly scratch. She doesn't ask for much, she didn't ask to go to the beach, but for me it was an act of compassion and love that she have the best possible life she can because I took the responsibility of bringing her home. When we were riding home from the bech I felt so fulfilled. For us it was just a simple little day trip but for hr it was an epic outing. Every day I talk to people who seem to think if they have one more thing..one more thing they would be happy. I just want to tell them that if they looked at what they have they probably would be happy. What the want most is probably already in their life but they are so busy looking elsewhere they don't even realize what they are lucky to have. Happiness Is A State Of Mind My dad once told me, "Happiness is a state of mind." Yet, during the depression of my early teens through twenties I couldn't comprehend how to get from there to where I'm at now. Self-help books are filed with witty slogans and affirmations by people who probably havne't hit the bottom of things as hardd as I have. Yes, it's a state of mind. To get to that state of mind you have to completely reprogram your brain. What society tells us should make us happy doesn't work. "Get the latest and greatest thing!" they tell you...but nope that doesn't work. "Take Jesus as your savior," yeah, that didn't really make me happy in this life. I was promised a lot of stuff about the afterlife but no one at Church taught how to be happy in the now. In fact, most of them seemed to think you could only be happy dead in the presence of a punishing God. Waking Up To What We Have As I look about my house and at all that Ross and I have...I realized I have more then I could possibly ever want. Most of it was simply given to us as four houses were consolidated into our one. I'm sure we'll replace the vehicles we currently own. I'm sure we'll continue to get little things here or there but we are extremely abundant people...we were given everything we needed to succeed by our loving families. Most people in the west are really abundant. Most people just don't realize it so they keep pursuing more stuff. Yet, there has to be a time where we say: "Enough. Experiences are more valuable then tangible objects. People are more valuable then tangible objects. What else do we really need?" Watching all the people losing their homes in catastrophes I could only think, "Well, all of that can be replaced and rebuilt. That will help fuel the economy at least and give people things to do...but as long as we have each other who needs all that stuff?" What Changed? We've had this stuff for awhile so it's not like that changed. What I realized is that my perespective changed. The process started three years ago but it's been truly transformative. I no longer view the world the same way. I realized, chances are, we are going to continue to live no matter how bad things get...the world continues on and our lives will continue. No matter how much debt or what our living conditions may be or what loved one may die...we will survive. The choice is to be happy with what we do have...to be grateful for the abundance that we are experiecing right now...and not to worry about tomorrow. There is a trust there that whatever might be needed Providence, not really the One Creator but the nature of the creation of itself, will provide. Most people get confused between desires and needs. When you look at needs, at leaest in the West, it's pretty easy to get those fulfilled. I don't even really have to do anything other then be grateful for what I have, treat every person I meet with the highest level of compassion that I'm capable of, and just enjoy the experience while trusting completely. I think that Bashar's defintion of abundance really started the change, "Abundance is doing what you want to do when you want to do it." Abundance as far as society is concerned is having the latest and greatest new thing be it a car, a watch or a phone. But that stuff becomes outdated and useless within just a short period of time. That certainly doesn't last a life time. Memories might not last a life time either but they can be memoralized and bring back all of the feelings attached to them. So, my focus switched from things and preserving things in pristine condition...to really branching out and enjoying new experiences. I let go of the fear of keeping things and getting things. Instead, I just flow from one experience to the next. New Experience...Scary or Exciting? I used to be terrified of new experiences. What if I made a mistake? What if I did something wrong? What if something went wrong? I realize now it doesn't matter. Not so very long ago I was late for a meeting. I was so scared of being late I just wanted to turn around and go home. I didn't want to go because I didn't want to be embarressed because I was late. We all had those terrible teachers that liked to shame late students. Then I thought...what's the worse that can happen? I won't die. So I went in like I owned the place and just sat down. Guess what? Nothing happened. That's how I approach all experiences now. What's the worst that can happen? Death isn't scary if you truly believe in the after life. After having past life experiences, seeing beings that I can only describe as extradimensional, and meeting my Higher Self...I know I'll continue on. Even if there is no afterlife (which I've had ample proof that there is) if there is a One Creator the memory of you will always live on. So again, the insane desire to leave a legacy or some lasting effect on this world (impossible in a temporary realm like ours) is compeltely gone. Left- Over Past Life Energy I think some of the negativity and depression that occured through my teens and into my twenties had to do with past lives. I can't really say that I had a happy life in my earthly sojurns until this one. I can only imagine that I was carryinig a lot of negative karmic baggage. In a few of those past lives I thought that the Way of the World was the easiest way but both times I realized it was completely unfulfilling. There was no real reason, in this life, for me to possess such negativity. I feel as though I had some karmic debt to repay or at least my soul felt the need to repay it. I repaid all of that within the first 35 years of my life. Now, I feel the slate is clean. Like a blank sheet of parchment paper...the world and my life is full of potential. Each day I start off with that blank sheet letting the last fade into oblvion. Edgar Cacye explained that this was going from Karma to Grace. There is a change in thinking that allows this and no additional karma is incurred. I'm putting a short video where John Van Auken explains this at the end of this blog. He also has an exellent book on the subject. Conclusion What's the point of taking one dog to the ocean? How can that make me happy? Well, she enjoyed it and she was happy the entire way there. She just wanted to go with her pack. She wasn't bothered by the waves. She's too old to get excited about things like that. Angel just embraced the experience trusting that her humans weren't putting her in danger. She even met new dogs and remained calm. That trust that she has in my husband and I is the same trust I have in the One Creator. I'm just grateful to experience life. I trust that whatever happens here is just a temporary state for my soul. My soul will continue on in the afterlife regardless of the fact I accepted Jesus as a savior. My soul will continue on regardless if I fail to have some great career. My soul will continue on regardless of my success or failure as a parent. My soul will continue on regardless if I ever own an Apple Watch. No soul is different from mine. At this point, I've already promised the One Creator my life is to do as he will's...they tell you not to test the One Creator. But boy, I can tell you I have tested and challenged my Higher Self and the One Creator throughout my life. Somehow, I turned out just fine...and for me that's enough proof of the Eternal Love the One Creator has for each soul that has decided to experience material reality. Why not let each day unfold as though you flipped to the next page in a book? The page is blank at the start of the day filled with endless potential. Then with the One Creator I write the story of the day. I think it's beautiful way to live. I am so happy and grateful for everything in my life right now I can't even approriately express it in words. I picked up this book a couple years ago the same day I saw the movie Jupiter Ascending (2015).
I was curious to see what the Seventh and final book in the Earth Chronicles series by Zeharia Sitchin would say about the Annunaki. I have read snippets sand articles about the first few but out of the seven I decided to buy the last one expecting him to make some statement regarding the entire saga. If you don't already know Sitchin had a degree in economic history. He interperted Ancient Sumerian clay tablets. In that interpertation believe he found evidence that a group of Aliens called Anunnaki (Those from heaven to Earth came) had seeded the planet and created human beings as slaves to work in their gold mines. The elaborate tale reads like a great science fiction story. There are many, however, who believe it to to be true and think that we are still somehow enslaved by these 'negative' entities. In this book Stitichin basically suggests that time is cyclical and that at the End of Days it will be like the very First Days. He doesn't explain too terribly much. He suggests a lot but doesn't come out and direclty say what he means. He suggests that Jesus was an Anunnaki. He suggests that another Annunaki will replace him. He also suggests all of the fighting in the Middle East has to do with people arguing over the landing places for the Anunnaki. At the end of the day he comes off very much as a zealot that truly believes what he says. In so doing he believes he is proving the Jewish religion and that they are the chosen nation of God. He believes that the Jews are one chosen group of the Anunnki and the Muslims belong to another. He really believes in these alien God's and he doesn't leave much room for an Absolute or One Creator that does not incarnate in flesh bodies. While it's a fun read and a fun fantasy at the end of the day...on a spiritual level I think it's a distraction. An aleternate concept where mankind actually worshipped aliens does conveinantly explain all of the 'Gods' worshipped in ancient times but so do other theories. The widespread fear of such a history or beings existing is not neccesary and in that way, making people fearful of a Nibiru or Planet X coming through and messing with the Earht...perhaps leading to a bombardment of comets...is not healthy. The entire theory has led to a lot of unhealthy spiritual concepts where people give up their power. At the same time, thinking of ancient gods in such a context does allow one to get over the man made image of the One Creator and does expand the mind by contemplating concepts usually not explored. So while I doin't believe in Sitchin's theory it is a good stepping stone to expanding a persons concept of what a God may or may not be...and eventually a fleshy personification seems woefully lacking. I recommend this book as a good fantasy read...an alternante history but no more. Take it with a grain of salt because it's caused way too much hysteria and it really doesn't matter if the human race was engineered by aliens.
I'm so excited about this one...
So, here is my introduction to Synchronizing the Maps of the Human Psyche. Why should this matter? Well, this is going to be an exploration of the self...or yourself. Think about how everyone is always taking quizes. Select the picture that relates most to you and it will reveal your secret blah, blah, blah. Who hasn't done one of those things? The greatest extension of that is the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator. As I learned in Psychology class, however, grouping people doesn't work. People can't be categorized because each of us make unique decisions based on unique histories (very unique if you include past lives). So, we will be exploring the Path of the Seeker and the systems that have attempted to map that out in the next 13 months. I think even in this video you can see the similarities. To me they are obvious...just how similar these are in so many ways. I did decide to change up the sections though. As I already introduced all three I'll probably start off with the first concepts- For example Departure for Campbells Hero's Journey- and then do a video at the end of each recapping how I perceive that concept. There should be all sorts of goodies in that. These videos won't be completely dry. There will be some commentary during them, I'm sure but boy is this going to be an adventure!
I had a few options for this weeks post.
I wrote three blogs before this one during the week. (My aplogies for typos as this was written as a stream of consciousness post without revision). Each of them are worthy topics of being posted and I will post them in the future. Today, I want to take a moment to talk about staying centered during the storm. These three pictures, and the pictures of the Earthquake in Mexico, has everyon scratching their heads in fear this month. We're only 9 days into September and people are wondering when it will end. Big chunks of Oregon and Montana are on fire. We even had a fire in Burbank California. People are freaked out that Florida and the islands leading to the southern finger of our country are going to be wiped out. Still more are terrified by a sign in the sky that seems direclty related to the Apocalypse on 9/23...again. I've seen people say all of this is punishment for electing Trump. I've heard tons of people saying, "Look, here, proof of man made global climate change!" Still more, "Weather control is real and the Illumanti is entering their end game to kill us all!" The Apocalypse people are going, "Oh good, here comes God's wraith to wipe you all out." The Bigger Picture We were so freaked out about 9/11. We were so freaked out about Katrina. Yet, we hardly speak about that now. Forests actually need to be burned from time to time to allow for new growth and to remain healthy. Yosemite once wondered why their beautiful Sequoia trees weren't coming back in...turns out fire is the only way the seed pods will open. The ecology of Yosemite requires a fire...and for years they had been putting them out and wondering why there were no new sequoia's...they were killing the opportunity for the chance for new groves to form. There is a reason real estate in Florida is so cheap. All of this is just proof of the temporary nature of reality. All of our lives are temporary and each stage of our life is just temporary. We go from being a baby, to a toddler, to a young child, to a pre-teen...to a teenager...and at thirtyfive I can say I am totally different from the preson I was in those stages on a subjective shallow level. Finding Our Center In meditation and following the Path of the Seeker we find our Center. The Center is not ego and it is not our personality. The Center is not our thoughts that come and go like the waves at the beach. The Center is not our actions that we performed yesterday, nor the ones from today...or tomorrow. This is the observer, the one that can note thoughts, label them as thoughts and send them away. This is the unchanging aspect of us that is One with the One Creator. This is the Center that is whole, clean, perfect and pure no matter what we do on this Earthly plane because it knows this is all a play...an illusion...Maya. When you know that your soul is eternal because it is always a part of the One Creator that is always eternal and the soul is made in the image of the Creator... when you know it deep down...you see these 'scary' things and shrug. We have seen them before in other lifes and if we choose to come back we will see them again. You Only Live Once I've stated before how ignorant that statement is as a justification for terrible behavior. Yet, that thought actually causes a lot more harm...and everyone who doesn't believe in reincarnation or life after death...well, they think they just have this one precious brief life. People think they have only one chance to have eternal life that is not torture because of idiotic religious practices where governments and churches have tried to control people through manipulating thim based on their greatest fear...almost from the moment Jesus Died (and paradoxically, because Jesus triumphed over death). This justifies a lot of fear...if you only live life once you cling to it greedily. The problem is...you're guranteed to die in this world unless you can figure out the transfiguration of Jesus, Moses and Elijah. Chances are if you have a bumper sticker on your car that reads, "He who dies with the most toys wins," it's not going to happen. Even if you follow the robotic formula of guranteed American Happiness of getting a spouse, get a good job, buy a home (or at least rent a place) and have kids...you probably aren't going to be bodily 'taken up to God.' Again, it's accepting that life is temporary. Is more going on? I've shared that my vision of the future is amazing. If people reach the level of 'Awakening' or 'Enlightenment' that I've reached where they understand their Oneness and Unity with the One Creator bringing them so much peace in the next ten years...we're golden people. In fact, I was reviewing movies to see how long this crazy division in the US is going to continue. I looked at movies coming out in 2019 and I can say...it will be done by 2019. Next year, there is going to be some residules but 2019 is not even slightly divided. In fact, with live action Lion King coming out I'd say the rightful King will take his place. Well, and the Gold thing might be literal. "Alchemists of ancient times claimed that by achieving the perfect balance of fire and water it was possible to produce a chemical/spiritual reaction that was powerful enough to transform lead into gold. Whether you take it literally or hold it as pure myth, there is something interesting about the archetypes of fire and water, and the importance of achieving a balance in our lives." (Retrieved from http://leeannmallorie.com/inner-alchemy-fire-meets-water/) Isn't it funny how we have fire to the West and Water on the East...Two vastly opposing forces striving for balance in our country? Chew on that one for a bit. Conclusion In the bigger grander scheme of things...big things are happening. We're going to come out of this a country reforged in the smithy of our own desires. Two opposing forces always create something new. All I can say, is that Peace be unto you...and calm. If everyone discovers that their key to the Kingdom of Heaven is within, turns within, and finds that this world will change in the twinkle of an eye...in fact, I'm counting on it. Before I experienced Oneness I was the ultimate pessimist. I was all doom gloom and into Doomsday Prophecy. Since then, I see the futility of the concept. The One Creator cares for every single aspect of the creation especially those made in it's Image...The One Creator is paitent because it has eternity to wait for people to learn their lessons and decide to work with it not against it willfully creating their own. You almost get to be a bit like the Marvel Charecter Deadpool. Deadpool knows he's immortal. He also know he's in a comic book/movie/cartoon, etc. He know's he is a part of the illusion and that's why he can get into some hilarious situations...because he doesn't have the filter of fearing death or thinking that he's more than the illusion. We can all learn from that carefree charecter...and the more we realize we are in a sort of Virtual Reality that our soul is playing...the more pleasent and dream like it will be...because we won't be spending so much time on resisting. This planet is beautiful and it will survive without us so put that lofty burden of self-importance about destroying it to the side. There are thousands of other planets that we can replay this same scenario on until eternity...because more are being made every second. The more you get upset and turn red in the face when circumstances are out of your control occur...the more clear that your fear is in control of your mind and not your soul. |
