I know you make a bold statement as I did in this video and it will probably encourage some hatred.
Why would the statement that Peace On Earth is Possible and Will Happen During My Lifetime give rise to hatred? Simply, the desire for revenge in humanity is so great. I have felt a great sadness is the last week. I will explore this deep sense of sadness in future blogs. Really, though, when you look into the dark shadow of humanity what you see the most is fear and the desire for revenge. It is so common for people to strike out in fear and hatred at things they cannot comprehend. When I first shared this concept a couple weeks ago in a blog I was exploring the idea. I explored why I had fallen back on the idea that Peace On Earth was not possible. I recognized I came to that conclusion in High school classes. Partly, it comes from knowing forced formulaic attempts by goverment at forcing peace always fail and end up causing large scale destruction and war. Another, comes from a huge disappointment in humanities ability to have compassion. So many are pursuing selfish goals at all costs. I am reminded of the manager nearly salivating as customers walked to our location as he stated, "Let's rape them before they even know what happened. Let's take every single dime they have and make them thank us for it." No Sith in the Star Wars Universe has been so depraved or so frightening as that manager as I realized his true nature. With people like that not only walking around on this planet but encouraged by the systems we have crated...how can we have hope? Well, I did the impossible. I realized from a higher perspective how we are all one. I see and forgive those who act out of their deepeest, darkest, forms of pain on others. Even that manager. I cannot hold a grudge against any murderer or any theif no matter how hard I can try. I can grieve for them...that they feel so lost in the darkness that they cannot make contact with their human emotions enough to realize that bringing harm to others is bringing harm to themselves. I do not pity such people. Nor do I wish to heal them. Nor do I wish to save them. I see their paths, I know that if situations were different and my choices were different I could be the same as them. One day, maybe not in this life time (and perhaps it is to have pity on them to end this life so they can start a new one) they will wake up to the realization of the Greater Whole (whether you call it the Body of Chris or the Divine Personality). I have wondered, as you can read in my blog, why I am still here after reaching that point of unity consciousness. After this realization. I realize that my persnal work is not done but also it's important for those of us who do awaken to remain. To hold the light within the material realm so that others can awaken. As I describe in the video, it is a dominoe affect once enough of us hold this light. There isn't much to do but to hold it and wait for others to awaken as well... which they are doing on a massive scale I never imagined. I mean, disclosure occurred in the United States and most people just ignored it. Here is the New York Times article: https://www.nytimes.com/2017/12/16/us/politics/pentagon-program-ufo-harry-reid.html Humanity is completely unphased by the revelation. Most of the people have fallen back on media driven conditioned responses. The government has done their job well. If this came out in the 1950's there might have been a panic. Now people shrug, say it's not possible and it was a waste of money even in light of the fact that there is a warehouse owned by company that's reverse engineering the material...in other words, there is proof but at least people are not frighetened by the concept. So, we have made rapid progress. I know that it will continue.

To continue my little tradition of looking to the year ahead and making 'predictions' based on what I see I decided to sit down and look at the movies that I know are coming out next year.
First, quite a few movies don't have trailers. This seems to be Hollywood's lates thing. They really don't drop trailers until right before the movie comes out so that people are surprised and the momentum to see the movie hits all at once. That is a brilliant strategy. In the past they would release so many trailers that it was pretty easy to figure out the plot before going in to see the movie. Sometimes, the trailer did a better and more entertaning job of telling the plot then the movie. With all that said this year I'm a little disappointed. There are very few movies I'm looking forward to seeing at this point. All of the movies I for sure want to see are Marvel Films. That's a bit startling. I can't believe the amount of horror movies that are coming out throughout this year. The movies Annhilation and Winchester are both coming out early in the year and both are horror films. The super hero movie, The New Mutants, also seems to be going in a very dark horror direction. I choose not to go see horror movies. I don't like the story line of Annhilation as the books were terrible. So, again, I find that Marvel super hero movies make up the majorit of must see movies. I will start off with the ones I absolutely plan on watching and then the ones that are maybe's depending on their ratings.
Avengers Infnity War
By far,the most important and anticipated film that will come out in 2018 will be Avengers Infnity War. This film will come out on May 4th. So, it will occur early in the year. The reason this film is going to be so amazing is that we know some of the original members of the Avengers will die. There will also be cross overs with new franchises- the Guardians of the Galaxy and Doctor Strange. To watch all of this get pulled together in a finely stitched narrative is going to be amazingly gratifying. However, it will probably be a sad film with those charecters dieing. We know Banner lives through this movie because there is a third installment to his triligoy that's being blended with the main story lines of thse films. My favorite line in the trailer is from Thanos, "Fun is not something one considers when Balancing the Universe but this does bring a smile to my face." Clearly the need to rebalace the Universe is in referece to the fall of Asgard.
What can I say?
This one is due out in June. The first Deadpool was really well done and entertaining. In this one we know that there's going to be Cable, as he's featured in the teaser trailer, and plot says Deadpool will be battling Ninjas. Time travel, obviously, will be involved because of Cable. Somehow, Deadpool will be saving the future for all mutants.
This movie is set out to come out in July of 2018.
The desription for the movie is that Antman and Wasp have to uncover a secret from the past. That's It Well, that's the list of movies I want to see this year. I think it's a little startling that it's so short. Again, all of them Marvel movies. Nothing that isn't Marvel is even on my radar at this moment. Out of the three only one has an actual trailer. Deadpool 2's are just teasers, but that goes with the viral marketing of the first one where the plot was completely hidden until the movie itself was viewed...which is brilliant. However, there are some runnerups depending on how the reviewers say the movie is...these are defintely not for sures and in some cases are probably mut miss and maybe cheap buys later on or rentals.
Due out on Feb. 16th I'm not sure if I'm going to see this movie or not. I am not familar with the charecter at all and the trailer really isn't all of that exciting. So, it really depends on the reviews of this movie to get me to go in. If the reviews are stellar, I might head in to the theater. If my friend Jennifer is correct and it appears that this movie is a big part of the plot of Infity War I might go check it out but at this moment it's not a must-see.
This trailer makes the film look awful. Due out in July this might be the biggest disappoinment of the year. Chris Pratt has been unstoppable but this might be the end of his winning streak of movies. Or it may be the best one yet. I guess we will have to wait to find out.
Besides, it gives away an entire scene and the plot of the movie. Unless reviewers give this a very big score I think this is going to continue in the tradition of the original Jurassic Park where each of the sequels not only feel unneccesary but forced. The charm in these movies were the originals where we get to see the Dinosaur Park. I think the people behind the sequels always think it's asbout the dinosaurs and topping the dinosaurs that they had the previous movie...but it's really about the wonder of bringing back extinct life and if we should be messing with mother nature.
I'm a huge fan of the X-Men. Of all of the comics they were by far my favorite. This will come out in November so the release date isn't very encouraging. We'll see how it does.
However, the newest batch of them based on the First Class cast is starting to get a little old. As this First Look describes the next movie is going to be in 1992. They say it's going to be the darkest of the main movies yet (darker then Logan?). Given that they did such a horrible job the first time around trying to cover the Phoenix saga, which was never my favorite storyline, we'll see what they do with this one.
After the success of Wonder Woman I can't write off this movie.
With a totally different director given liscense to do what he wants with this movie it may turn out to be really good. That said, it's another movie about a relunctant king. I love the poster for it where it says, "Unite the 7 Seas." We'll see if it's the bigges blockbuster of December 2018. Conclusion This next year is going to be interesting. The year is almost a blank slate full of potential. First, the theme I see is a relunctant but good king. I'm not sure what to think of that as a theme but two of the movies (Black Panther and Aquaman) have that going on. Another theme is a lot of darkness. Even in the movies I want to go and see there is clearly going to be heartache and defeat as a part of it. Members of the Avengers will die, the island where Jurassic World was will be destroyed with countless dinosaurs dying....who knows what the darkest X-men movie in the franchise means? Third is that we are going to utterly unknown terrirtory filled with potential. The otucome hasn't been deterimined but seems tobe being created as we go through it. We are offically in uncharted territory where anything is possible. Well, those are the three themes I see. Worth noting is the lack of movies that I'm drawn to this year that have female lead charecters. There are some coming out: Annhilation, Red Sparrow, and Ocean's 8 (a redo of a redo of a classic movie...just with women this time. Seems as stupid as the Ghostbuster reboot and just as neccesary to miss. I don't want to see regurgitated guy stories...I want original female stories!). Sadly, none of them appear to be of any interest to me. Is this lack due to an inability for Hollywood writers to create compelling female charecthers? After all, even J.K. Rowling has failed to produce a female lead in her fantasy universe. The demand is there for good female charecters. I guess, the question will the film industry meet that need in the coming years? Also, worth noting again is the huge amount of horror films out this year. Winchester, Annhilation, and even New Mutants fall into this category. Did the movie Logan usher in a new dark era where what was once seen a lot around Halloween is an all year thing? Are we collectively looking into the Shadow portions of human kind with these movies? I hope there are a few surprises this year. I am, again, disappointed by the line up. Marvel seems to be the only group producing anything worthwhile.
I currently have the flu so forgive me for any typos or illogical aspects of this blog. I wrote the heart of this blog weeks ago but I was waing for the Last Jedi to come out before completeing it...to see if that would go with the underlying themes of this years movies.
OH and there will be many Spoilers! I wanted to take a moment to look back at this year's movies and compare it to my post of last year to see if it was true. The truth is, absolutely, what I saw shaping up was very much present in the movies I was attracted to and movies that I were drawn to this year. The list of movies that were my favorite this year are surprising. I did not think, at the start of this year, that they would be among my favorites. I really didn't think so many would make it into my top ten this year. This year was one of surprise, of learning that the unexpected is now the par for course. Movie marketers have finally figured out how to make compeling trailers without giving out the entire plot which is awesome. I like it so much better when I'm surprised by movie content. We aren't doing the same thing over and over again that we did before...we are now in uncharted territory. I touched on why this is on my Is Peace On Earth Possible Blog that you can read here: Mostly, this shift in consciousness is the work of the people consciously choosing to go through the Awakening, Ascension or self-realization/self-actualization process (you can choose to call what it whatever you want but they are all true). So many people deciding to be lights of hope in a time when our world was overwhelmingly the darkest dense energy it had ever reached (aside, perhaps from the time of Atlantis) throughout the 1900's has contributed to this great shift in the way humanity thinks! We still have the team sport mentality- people choosing a side in all things when the sages know that's not wisdom but wilfull blindness. Those people who are willing to pick sides and stand up for teams of people they don't know personally are more divided then ever. Yet, a good chunk of the world has let that go for this new path. Our future is starting to become bright indeed! That's where the hope lies. My Favorite Movies of 2017
Wonder Woman
Wow, was this such a surprise! I really enjoyed this movie to the point where it's my all time favorite movie now. Ross and I saw it in theatres after the reviews were really good. I am so thankful that we did! This has become my all time favorite movie. I don't think that they will be able to repeat this magic in sequels. I was very happy that this movie turned out to be done so well and capture a charecter I could relate to on so many levels. First, this is the first female super human charecter in a movie they've gotten correct. Yes, supergirl on WB/Television is amazing (and in cartoons there was She-Ra). Yet, this was the first movie that really strikes to the heart of being a courages woman in todays society. To not give up the womanly ways and become man-like to get ahead (although that can be beneficial at one point on the Spiritual Path). The naieve person who really thinks they can save the world on their own by doing just one thing. Diana has to discover what her place is in this world of humans where both carry dark and light. The role of genders is questioned in this movie- should she conforming to pretending be the shrinking violet of the time as all of the other women were? The men tell her she has no place in a war even though she's a far superior warrior to all of them. Steven Trevor, who's a spy and done terrible beastly things to win the war and survive has to overcome that tendency. He is put in the place where he has to decide will he do the act that will serve the greater good or ditch Diana and continue the war effort in the 'acceptale' way?
Ghost In A Shell
This one didn't get great reviews but I loved this movie. I think this has to do with hardcore anime fans rigging the system review of it on Rotten Tomatos because it wasn't *exactly* like the anime (see the theme of going into uncharted territory again?). The thing I didn't like about the anime was fixed in the live action movie. The movie was not creepy like the original movie where Major looks more like a doll. If they had gone with that dark horror like theme the main heart of this story that has always made in beautiful might have been lost. This movie blew me away and is defeintely in among my top ten favorite movies of all time. Major mostly tries to figure out what her role is in the world? Who is she? Why is she there fighting the bad guys? Why her? Why is she the first android/the first of her kind? On the other hand, her supposed villian, Kuze, has embraced that he is a monster. He has set out to kill anyone and eveyrone that has made him this way. He is a major moral contrast to Major. He doesn't want to help the world of humanity that has cast him out but wants to create his own reality that he thinks will be better. Starting to sound like a familar theme?
This movie wasn't even on my radar. However, I was absolutely blown away when I saw this in theatres. Visually the entire movie is eye candy with shots that were purely motivated by psychology. I can't wait to watch this movie again. The plot twists are beautiful. I cried in the theatre.
This movie also deals with individualization versus Group Think. The main charecter startes off as the submissive droid that does everything his masters tell him. His only relationship is with another robot and after the robot rebellion in the previous movie humans don't trust him or like him. He's treated worse then a dog. Then he discovers 'a miracle.' This miracle changes the role of robots in the world. Should they be seen as mere objects to be owned? Should they be treated as less then human? What choice will he make in this life and who will he decide to be? Will he continue to operate blindly and destroy this miracle for the sake of Humanity that continues to abuse the planet to the point where most have abandoned Earth? Will he choose to protect this movie and save the robots? What is his role in all of this? What will he choose? Will he go with the Group Think Programming he was told means his survival making him an anonymous robot assassin part of the police or wil he choose to be an individual? This is a fascinatning movie that asks big questions about humanity.
I did not see this movie coming.
I generally stay away from horror movies. I figured this was just your typical abduction story with a couple of twists. M. Night has disappointed me too many times recently. Not that he was ever very good at making aciton movies. The two main charecters in this movie encounter each other. Both are broken. The *Horde*, the main villian but who steals the show and it is very easy to empathsize with him, has multiple personality disorder. Each personality is different and has different biological needs- one even diabetic. In the movie, the *Horde* has been treated badly all of his life. Three of the presonalities want 'the Beast' to come forward to protect them. The main charecter in the film is a sexually abused teenager. She just happens to be at the wrong place at the wrong time but all of the events help her to survive. This is a beautiful movie about two broken individuals. Of course, *the Horde* gives in and instead of rising above and becoming a fused whole person...he becomes the animal like Monster.
Logan
This movie was so heart breaking. Dark and garish yes...but so beautiful at the end where Wolverine accepts his daughter. . The fresh gritty take ont the X-Men and finally seeing Wolverine portrayed as he's meant to be was absolutely gratifying on a fan-girl level. This was the Wolverine movie that I had always wanted to see but got a lot of cheesy ones insetad. Thanks to Deadpool this movie happened...and it continues an intersting trend for Super Hero movies. The movie focuses on exploring the battle between 'the beast' that he was referred to as in the previous movies (specifically in X-Men Apocalypse) that was just a weapon used by the goverment to enjoy murdering and killing. At the end he tells his daughter not to be the weapon they made her to be and not to fight. See the theme?

Guardians of The Galaxy
Oh my gosh was this funny but sad. Yet, also so subtle in being psychological! The depiction of Ego the Planet which was obviously about Ego in the human being was brilliant. Star Lord has to decide his fate, what is his role in the universe now that he know's who his father is a Celestial? Does he join his father and kill all of the life in the universe? The relationship between Yondu and Rocket was spot on to speaking about th emptiness most people feel in their existence. Rocket steals because the people who crated him didn't care about him and because of that he almost severed his ties with his true family- The Guardians of the Galaxy. Yondu is the same way, his parents givinig him up into slavery when he was a baby for no good reason. Both Yondu and Rocket have to figure out if they are capable and want to overcome those dark unexplainable urges that come from their suppressed emotions. Will they give into that darkness, that beast, will they only look out for themselves or will they raise above their individual needs and serve the greater good? I know. These two themse are everywhere. Maybe the arguement could be posed that this is a common theme found in every movie but I can think of plenty that do not explore this. This movie completley took me by surprise. I want to see it again before I review it because I'm sure I missed some parts. This was not what I thought it was going to be on any level. The ending was shocking. Thor discvovers it is not the realm of Midgard that matters but his people that matter. Will he allow evil to reign in his sister, the Goddess of Death, or will he let it all be destroyed to save the multi-verse? Further, This is the start of a trilogy revolving around Hulk to see if Banner becomes the beast permanently. The Hulk is more handy in a fight and (let's face it) more entertaining then Banner. Will he sacrifice his human side to become the tool of War that is the Hulk? That was a major theme in this movie and it will be interesting to see how that plays out in the two Infnity War movies. Honorable Mentions These movies weren't terrible. But I don't know if they will be movies I'll watch over and over again. I am sad that Star Wars: The Last Jedi made it into this list and I will explain why.

The Last Jedi
I waited to publish this blog to see if this movie would tie into the two themese that I spotted in this years movies. Oh my god, did it! On one hand I love so many scenes in this movie more then I do in the Force Awakens or any other Star Wars movie, but at the same time some of the other parts were so glaringly out of place I might avoid watching them when they are on when I'm watching it at home. Rey's main thrust is exactly what it states in the trailer, "I want to know who I am and what is my place in all of this?" Kylo Ren's story continues to deep as well as he admits to Rey when she calls him a monster at one point, "I am a Monster." He seems to be conflicted, to hold some light within him and Rey is convinced she can turn him. So his main story arch is will Kylo give in completely to the Monster within him? Yet, he must "kill" his past in order to complete his Sith training. Luke is the relunctant teacher. This is not the powerful jedi master in the books and that's why major fans of the books are disappointed. He's failed before and he doesn't want to teach Rey. Has he given into the the Dark Side? Because he chooses to not take a side does that make him evil in this battle between Darkness and Light? Leah is very different. Her son has kileld his father. Her world has been filled with loss. She's relunctant to see more of that loss occur. Her charecter was very divisive but she still clings to help in the face of seeming loss. Poe, by far one of the most fascinating storylines. Poe is reckless, gets people killed, and only looks for war notches on his belt. He gives into the "beast" and get's people klled in the name of 'good' and that's called into question by this movie and given a very sharp contrast to Admiral Holdo (which probably had a major effect on me because I *loved* her charecter, Amilyn, in the book Leia Princess of Alderran: https://bridgetkorns.weebly.com/blog/book-review-leia-princess-of-alderaan). Fin is on a similar but more minor story arch that is similar to Poes. His buddy in this film, Rose, however, is the opposite. She has the best line in the film that really captures the theme that I think the director was going for, "It's not by killing what we hate that we win, but saving what we love." Very well done. This would have easily been in the best movies of the year if they had left out the awkward token CG aliens and humor that fell flat more often then not...and yes those awkward CG aliens include the Porgs. I give it a 7/10 or a B-. Defintely a worthy addition to the franchise and maybe it will grow on me.
Underworld:Blood Wars
Defintely not the best of the Underworld series (which was the first move). I have to say though it was far better then the second. These movies follow such a strict formula in structure it's become kind of boring. I do love this charecter, as I stated at the start of the year and this movie actually pulled everything together well. This makes the list of movies I enjoyed because I was shocked by the way this ended. In all of the movies she was alway seeking truth and purpose in her life once her intitial veil of Group Think of the Death Dealers was removed. She became nothing more then a killing machine bent on survival. In this movie, she finds her purporse through "becoming." The spiritual overtones in such a violent and graphic action movie was fascinating. Again, the theme continues.
Resident Evil: The Final Chapter
Much of this was forgetable action sequences. I wouldn't say that Alice was trying to find her life purpose throughout the rest of the series. She just seems to be an endless heartless zombie killer machine Out of left field Alice discovers that she is the clone of the daughter of the man who created Umbrella. That when he learned that his work to save his daughter's life was going to be used for evil he tried to guard against it. This changes everything for Alice. Now, knowing she is a clone and given the memories of the original she know's who she is and has a life purpose. She remains a killing zombie/monster machine but now she chooses it.
Beauty and The Beast: I found this movie fascinating. This is not my favorite Disney Tale so I can't list it as my favorite movies of this year just because I've never been thrilled by the story.
I found the addition of a backstory to Belle's mother an interesting choice. Of coures, this is the story of a beautiful prince that behaved beastly to a visiting stranger and through a curse was turned into a physical Beast. Through love he rediscovers his humanity and saves the servants in the castle. Must Miss Movies The Dark Tower turned into a turd. I wish that it had been better because I love the series by Stephen King and there was so much potential. Sadly, it was just a horrible director. I can't say there was anything redeeming in this. King Arthur: Legend of The Sword I wish I could say this one was good. Yet, it just wasn't. I felt like there was a lot missing from it and that's kind of sad. There was so much potential here but they just ruined it. I liked how King Arthur was portrayed. About halfway through the film the CG effects become awful as though they ran out of money. There was such a strong start to this movie and I suspect we didn't see the entire story as it was originally written. Pennywise: I know people who went to see this and thought it was awesome. My husband really enjoyed it. I may watch it when it comes out on DVD. The idea of a clown that feeds on fear is fascinating in and of itself and I might see the next installment but I'll probably never watch this one again. Conclusion The girl power this year was amazing. In every movie I listed there were strong female lead charecters. In Logan, the young actor who played Laura really stole the show. Gal Gadot was amazing in Wonder Woman and set a new standard for female actors. Daisy Ridley was once again amazing as Rey. The themes are fascinating. The battle between the Egoic Beast selfish beast within us...most often depicted as a male in battle really took me by surprise. The second theme of finding a place and purpose in the world by spiritually choosing to Serve Humanity was also amazing. To me this provides an excellent balance. There is also a third theme in all of these movies. They broke from their usual formulas. I really didn't get into this in the reviews but every movie was new and different from the last in a fresh way that was surprsing. Also, as I stated before the marketers have become very good at not making trailers that reveal the entire plot so when you go to see the movie you're totally surprised. Star Wars: The Last Jedi and Thor: Ragnarok standout in that regard. Going in I had no idea what I was going to see and in both cases I was blissfully happily surprised as a result.
Post Script
The three themes... 1. The Bull Theme The amount of movies with the bull theme continue into December. I used this picture at the Stock Market from the start of the year. Then here is the movie Ferdinand...the similarity is striking. Again, it brings up the contrast between the Ox and the Bull that I covered in my Beast blog you can read here: https://bridgetkorns.weebly.com/blog/category/the-beast. To understand this we must look at the astorlogical sign of Taurus. Taurus is a very physical, earthy, and materiall indulgent being. This astrological sign is usually depicted as the bottom three chakras of the human body. Most people, only have these three chakras operating. This causes people to operate only on the 'dog eat dog' mentality of the world as we know it that justifies war. The little girl, believe it or not, is Spirit. In Jewish Kabbalah traditions, at least, and as pointed out by Abrahma Maslow in The Farther Reaches of Human Nature. A young female girl then is the purest form of Spirit and taming/befriending the bull- the material animalistic component of human life is what mystics refer to as the Sacred Marriage. I will write a post on this fascinating topic that is completely buried in literature soon. I haven't seen Ferdinand but it's about a Bull that likes to smell flowers that befriends a little girl at a no kill farm...but then gets stung by a bee and is misperceived as a violent menance so he's taken to the areana where he is expected to fight but he smells flowers instead! To turn the bull into the ox is the equivalent of this quote from the bible: "And he shall judge among the nations, and shall rebuke many people: and they shall beat their swords into plowshares, andtheir spears into pruninghooks: nation shall not lift up swordagainst nation, neither shall they learn war any more." (Isaiah 2:4) I know, I know, I've talked about the Bull Theme too often. I didn't see this one coming at all. I didn't see this in last years movies that I was anitcipating because so many were off my radar...Split and Blade Runner being the most prominitent. I had no idea that Thor Ragnarok or that Guardians of the Galaxy would have these themes as well. The Movies: 1. Wonder Woman (Steve Trevor Plot), 2. Ghost In A Shell, 3. Blade Runner 2049, 3: Split, 4: Logan, 5: Guardians of the Galaxy, 6: Thor Ragnarok, 7. Star Wars the Last Jedi, 8: Underworld: Blood Wars, 9: Resident Evil: Final Chapter, 10. Ferdinand. 2. Serving The All In these story lines the charecter reverses their selfish worldly impulses. It's not about them. This is about their friend and family. They are balanced. They are note extreme but serve their own needs while making decisions that will serve all of humanity...and most often saves it. The Movies: 1. Wonder Woman (Steve Trevor Plot), 2. Ghost In A Shell, 3. Blade Runner 2049, 3: Split, 4: Logan, 5: Guardians of the Galaxy, 6: Thor Ragnarok, 7. Star Wars the Last Jedi, 8: Underworld: Blood Wars, 9: Resident Evil: Final Chapter. Well, folks...to wrap this up here are the two themes I originally saw when looking at films for next year so we can see if they were accurate: "Based on what I am attracted to in the movies as things are now... this year represents a breaking of patterns on a pretty epic level...on not just a 'cycle' level but a "Grand Cycle" level!... And: "I will attain enlightnement sometime before I die." Accuracy? Well, if enlightnement is obtained by marrying Earth and Heaven- The Mystic Marriage then yes. The Earthy self is the bull that is out for selfish gains. Heaven is the ultrisitic side of humanity that makes choices that serve the greateste good. The moment I realized that we are all One...it just clicked. I also started practicing seeing God In Others which is a great way to obtain this state: https://bridgetkorns.weebly.com/blog/category/seeing-god-in-others So yes, both statements were absolutely spot on for me. Have I obtained Enlightenment? I don't know, I don't think it's something that can truly be certified as some people claim. I base it on the amount of peace I've found and playing with how I create my own reality (which I'll explain more in a more in depth blog next year). I think it's a continuous process of being more and more my authentic self...what is often called "becoming." I have dedicated myself on a conscious level tow take care of myself detaching from material wants/desires by accepting impermance and making loving decisions every day that serve the whole of humanity to the best of my ability. In the end, that's what makes all the difference. Which is the fulfillment of the two predictions for my subjective reality that I made at the start of the year. What an amazing year of self discovery! I've decided to write a series of blogs of the Markers on the Path that most people seem to experience.
Really, these were the Markers that were really important on *My* Path. No two paths are the same. They are as unique as the individual who walks them. As such, I wanted to clairfy a few concepts and then give you examples of them and examples of other people who have had a similar experience. Letting Go Of Expectations This was the most liberating of all of the stages that I went through. True, this was inspired mostly by Bashar's Formula. (Channeld by Daryl Anka). The way I see it, most of us are so focused on the 'I' in life...we sit here and say..."I want this," "I expect to be treated this way," and "I wouldn't do it that way." We live our whole lives ways waiting for other people, places, and things to be exactly as we expect them to be...but life would be very disppaointing and not very exciting if it was that way. We've had authority figures tells us what they expect out of us. Our parents, our teachers and our bosses all have expectations they expect us to fill. We feel that when we don't live up to those expectations we let the people we love most down. Religion has the highest expectations out of us. They don't expect us to be humans. Teachers are the only ones who punish us when we fail. There is a lot of suffering because of expectations. There is no wonder why we are so used to them. We expect that we should have the American Dream. Some people who have struggled to attain the American Dream for themselves would like to see it taken away from people they see as less deserving. The rich don't deserive their privelage. The poor don't deserve to live in homes they haven't earned. Our lives are formed of expectations based on a system that's not written down. Most often that system is pleasing other people we like or admire and attacking others who perceive as attaicking or taking from us first. Most often we have material expecations in life: to own a car, to own a house, etc. We have expecations of others including of what love should look like. Releasing Expectations Brings Freedom Expectations is one of the boundaries that we experience in our lives. When we hold onto expectations about ourselves, things we want, other people and our future it limits the opportunities that may come to us. Further, when we hold onto expectations we are living in a fantasy world. We are living in the future which does not exist or onto the past that not longer exists. We are not present. We are not here or now. When we live in this way we limit the structure of that future. There is the idea of Manifestation on the Spiritual Path. People have been able to manifest a lot of things and they usually focus on physical results and money. However, if you sit down and release all forms of expectations you will find a sense of freedom. You're no longer limiting your life. Usually, there are a few things that preceed this stage. I'm still learning how to practice it but it is the most applicable to most ordinary life. Yet, it can be a little tricky because it is so different then what we are taught. The key here is to release expectations...because most of the time these expectations never belonged to you in the first place. They pollute your energy diverting it to areas where you won't see progress and it keeps you from living in this moment. In this moment you can plant the seeds for a better tomorrow but only if you are fully present. Ultimately, when you release all expectations you experience the ultimate freedom. You live in the Now. You live in a pure state of possibility. This is a very brave action. How Do I Let Go Of Expectations? Well, you identify them first. You can list everything you expect in life in a journal of every aspect of your life. If your letting go of expectations from a specific person in your life (eventually, you need to let go of all expectations for all of the people in your life) write down all of the expectations that you had for them. If it's a goal that you have held onto for dear life but just hasn't panned out (probably because it was only meant to be a stepping stone to what you really are supposed to be doing) then write out every expectations and reason you had that goal. If you can, identify where they come from and why you have it. Identify how those expectation makes you feel right now in this present moment. Then release the expectation. If it helps, you can envision them taking the form of a bird that you release. The bird flies away taking your expectations with them. Eventually, you won't need these tools. You'll catch yourself setting expectations, reminding yourself that you do not need them and letting them go. This is a form of meditation. This will become easier and easier. This is very similar to how I learned to meditate. I would have a thought and release it. I would have an emotion, feel it deeply, and release it. This is the same practice just applied on a different level. You do not reject or deny. You embrace it fully, experience it fully as thought it were a foregin object you never encountered before and let it go on it's own way. Different Quotes Here are some quotes on Letting Go: This is from the Wisdom of Avalon Oracle Set From Collette Baron Reid: "Releasing attachments, expectations, and desires yet unfulfilled- these are some of the aspects of this card. When you receive this marker on your path, you're required to relinquish control and allow the Mystery to act as the will to weavelife together as it is meant to be, according to the laws of the cosmos. You cannot force something to come, or remain, if it is true place is elsewhere. Remember that what is yours can never be taken away. Allowing is the key to this marker, for what is yours will come to you. The same applies to the past: This is the time to let go of old hurts, resentments, and unresolved anger, for they're no longer welcome burdens on the path ahead. Old and outmoded ideas about life, how you see others, who you are, based on who you were- these must also be left behind. Then you can move forward, unencumbered, stepping into the magic of the new present that leads into the best possible future." Bashar Channeled By Daryl Anka Provides This Formula 1. Take Action On The Opportunity that Contains The Highest Excitement 2. Act on The Excitment To the Best of Your Ability 3. Act On The Ecitement With Absolutely Zero Insistence Or Assumption With Respect To The Outcome. *Undestand that insistence on a specific outcome, manifestation or pathmay actually prevent a better maniffestation then you can imagine. *The thing itself that excites you may not come to fruition. It may only excite you to get you to take action in order to create the state of being in which the thing that actually needs to manifest may do so. You can find the full document here: http://bashar.org/handouts/TheFormula.pdf There is more to it then what I provided here but I wanted to emphasize the part I'm talking about in this blog. So, when it comes to number three you can re-word that as Letting Go of All Expectations of The Outcome. The reason being is when you visualize an exact outcome it can prevent what you really need from coming to you. If your focused on only one thing...one thing at all cost...and the universe has deemed this is harmful for you...you'll just spin your wheels. Letting go of expecations means you don't know the outcome, you don't know what will serve your higher purpose but you have faith that something bigger then you does. Of course, a Peak Eperience or Trascendental moment here and ther emight help you believe in something bigger...but even the biggest cycnics and critics have experienced them but in their Subjective Reality cling to explainations they are comfortable with...even seeing a UFO won't convince them. Just like the recent disclosure in the New York Times didn't affect anyone () You may not be capable of imagining what you really need...but Spirit does know and will provide...if you let go of the expectations. Pema Chodron When Everything Falls Apart "A teacher visited me during this time, and I remember her saying to me, "When you have made good friend with yourself, your situation will be more friendly too. I had learned this lesson before, and I knew what it was the only way to go. I used to have a sign pinned up on my wall that read: 'Only to the extent that we expose ourselves over and over to annhilation can that which is indestructible be found in us.' Somehow, even before I heard the Buddhiste teachings, I knew that his was the spirit of true awakening. It was all about letting go of everything." pg. 7 Purge Negative Traits I watched a you tube video by Cindy Griffith of the Edgar Cacye A.R.E. and I realized that she was talking about Letting Go. She used far harsher terms but she's made this her 'life's work' which it probably will be her entire life revisiting this idea over and over again until she 'gets it' because she's excluded so much else that might give her a broader view of the topic. She was marking out how four mystics had said that they obtained Oneness (the Sacred marriage). She outlined it as containing these steps in no particular order: Purge Negative Traits and Take on Positive traits. Sense of Passionlessnes (peacefulness) Prayer, Meditation and Contemplation These three things were the major steps and she said these lead to Spiritual Maturiy or Spiritual Union (the Sacred Marriage). I think it's really importat that we choose our words carefully when we are talking about these subjects. Saying that there is a need to Let Go of Expectations is so much more approachable then saying something has to be purged. When we purge something we repress it...we think, "This is bad and this is not something I should have." Yet, if it were not natural and necesary in the moment we would not experience it. So, although her concept is correct in some ways it is harsh and may lead to discomfort in some. Conclusion Well, I was inspired to share this because it is such a touchy subject. I fall back on the Buddhist path and what Bashar says in some things because they are gentle teachings. There is no particular order in how you go about the Path of the Seeker but I do want to lay out these Markers so other people can see them. To me, it's common sense, but I'm aware that it's been obscured through time by those who don't understand who are trying to interpert the concepts. Partly inspired by Collette Baron Reid's markers in her Wisdom of Avalonn Oracle Card set I want to share some markers a person can use to be more self-aware on the Path of the Seeker.
The first major sign marker on the Path of the Seeker is the choice to seek in the first place. There are a few layers to choosing to seek knoweldge, whether it's 'the truth' or 'God' or just learning to know ourselves. As you progress along this path you'll learn that these three concepts merge with one another. I want to cover the three basic tools everyone on the Path of the Seeker needs to develop when they first head out. So, enjoy this little bit of the hard won lessons I've learned on this path. Intention While it is not entirely neccesary to have an intention when heading out on the Path of the Seeker it is important to know what ever intention that you have will affect the information that you come across. If you set out only focusiong on having a relationship with 'God' the idea that you set out with might strongly affect the information that you uncoveron that Path. If you are set on finding out 'the truth' it might get a little bit confusing but there are so many people with so many truths thta are unique to them. If you set out only to learn more about yourself you could end up in a an endless cycle of reading self-help books. In the end, all of these intentions interwoven for The Path of the Seeker. If you focus on one it is hard not to exclude the others. Since, as I have explained before, we live in a Subjective Reality (here is a YouTube video on the topic that I made:https://youtu.be/dZ08GrkEnbI) there are a lot of versions of reality out there and the most important thing is to find what's true to you. Having an intention is not a bad thing. But maybe go for trying to answer the question, "Why am I here? What ist he purpose of life?" and always keep in mind none of us have complete knoweldge of this question, but there are answerse out there. An Open Mind I've made an argument for why I am Inclusve when it comes to all perspectives on a matter instead of being eclusive here: https://bridgetkorns.weebly.com/blog/inclusive-vs-exclusive. For me, it was very important to include all takes on religions and all perspectives of spirituality to reach the sort of mental fusion I currently hold. You can see this based on the maps of the Psyche videos I'm doing where I explain that Literature Proffessor Joseph Campbell's Hero's Journey, Psychologist Abraham Maslow's Self-Actualization, The Hindu Chakra System, The Jewish Kabbalah System, The Tarot and Native American Jamie Sam's 7 Paths of Human Transformation...all share the same map of the same path of the Seeker. Heck, I may throw in Laird Scranton's outline about the Dogon process of Creation. By looking at each perspective I was able to integrate it to the point where I had the puzzle pieces in place. Then I started to see a picture of the whole and how each are talking about the same experience but in different terms based on their culture or personal experiencest. I don't pick teams. I don't think one group is better then the other. Each is perfeclty correct in their own way and applies to the whole experience each of us have. A Flexible Mind A big part of the Path of the Seeker is being able to go, "Well, I see the error in this thinking. Now it's time to let that go and accept this." This has been a big process. There for a bit the Annunaki was huge in my mind. I was absolutely fascinated by the story by Zachariah Stitchin. I think the obssession with the Annunaki is a bad thing. They don't hold all of the answers (only you hold all of the answers in your reality) but it allowed for something wonderful. It allowed me to think outside of the Christian concepts of God. It allowed me to see that concept a little differently. My view of God before that, or the One Creator, was so one dimensional and rigid that when I tried to look at other beleif systems they looked like gobbly gook. It was until I came across the Annunaki and that concept that my mind became flexible on the concept until I've reached a bit of an abstract concept of The One Creator and The Divine Personality of which we are all a part. I dont think I could have made the dramatic cahnge in a human looking God that I had originally thought was normal to believe in to this completely abstract concept that I now old if it hadn't been for the concept of the Annunaki between there. Knowing It's Okay To Be Wrong As I said, I was wrong about the Annunaki. Yet, it led to wonderful things so I can't be upset about that. We will get things wrong on this process. For example, in a group that I belong to that's a bucn of Empaths people post pictures wanting readings. I don't give them only the stuff they want to here. I give them a full range of information and tips on how to heal. Of course, I'm usually drawn to those who are suffering. Yet, that opportunity for people to try to read, and develop that skill, is worth it's weight and gold. Don't be afraid to make mistakes. You will. That's true learning though. Trying, failing. Then trying again until you get it right. You get an infinite amount of attempts to get it right. The test isn't timed like in school. No one will criticize you because the only one keeping score is you. That said don't bother trying to convery other people to your version of reality. No matter how appicable it may be to others it is not *their* reality. What may be true to you will not be true to them. This is a personal growing process and it's not something that is shared easily. There is no one answer...but as many answers as there are people in the cosmos. So, respect others, give them just as much space for them to be wrong, and if you can agree on something that's awesome! This is also why I havent go through and delted any posts from my past that might seem a bit off. I know I was unbalanced. I was close to the truth but just not hitting the mark. Yes, that can cause all sorts of chaos in a persons life and other peoples lives to some degree when you're both a little unbalanced and experiencing odd stuff that can be interperted in a way to make people scared. That's probably why I reach out to the people who are afraid more then I do people who are curious who want some sort of teacher (in a way I'm a teacher but I highly recommend you do not follow just one teacher and you'll find many teachers along the way that will teach you many things when you need to know them they will just appear...whether as a series of YouTube videos or a book or whatever way they can to influence your life).
This YouTube video was a bit difficult to make. The project was riddled with tiny flaws from the start. If course the series of somewhat annoying misadvetures started off with a technical difficulty with my hardware. I am so glad this is done and I hope everyone enjoys the video!
I have been meaning to create this video for awhile. Doubt plagued me a lot on this one because I wasn't really sure about doing one. There are so many really good professional meditations out there. I might not be perfect or have soft music in the background (which I could have added but would have delayed the video further) but I think it speaks for itself. Besides, I don't want this to be too good. I don't want you to use this all of the time. I want you to do this a few times with me guiding you. That you will get the method and then start to do it on your own. The dreams you can have after this meditation tend tobe more clear and more meaningful. Here are some meanings for how and why you might meet resistance when opening the flowers. Those flowers are the chakras and if they are not opening they are blocked: Crown Chakra - Blockages in this area lead to being unable to meditate or quiet the mind. They also lead to a sense of hopelessness and depression. Third Eye/Brow Chakra: Lack of vision. Nightmares. Manifests as poor intuition. Throat Chakra - Lies/Not Speking your Truth. Usually manifets as a person being unable to express themselves or their feelings. Heart Chakra- Grief. Manifests as Lack of empathy or fearful of close relationships. Solar Plexus Chakra- Shame. Usually manifests itself as Low Self-Esteem or Lack of Willpower Sacral Chakra- Guilt. Usually manifests itself as a low sexual drive and lack of creativity. Root Chakra- Fear. Blockages here usually leaves people feeling spacey and unable to really focus on the present moment. This is just a quick and easy littel refrenge guid. There is a lot more information out there on this topic. I rely on Brenda Davies book for my information. I've found working with clearing the chakras is a tremendously positive experience. I will be covering each chakra in depth in the upcoming Map of the Psyche that involves that subject in an upcoming video. As far as what I mean by a Kundalini Awakening...it appears that there is a dormant energy that sleeps at the root chakra. With this practice that energy awakens and travels up the spine and it can cause some people to have what Maslow Calls a Peak Experience. For people with blockages it can get a bit wonky and it can cause imabalances that become very noticable. By starting off with the energy and love of your family in spirit...(and it doesn't matter if you know someone who crosses over or not, all of your ancestors are there)...it helps prevent the negative consequences. Also, by working on and not pushing the final four chakras it can bring specific areas that you need to heal to your mind. If you start having flashbacks to childhood, there might be trauma there that needs to be healed. To heal it you can recongnize what happened. See yourself as a wise knowing person now and send energy to the version of yourself that experienced the trauma. Write in a journal all of the things that you would have said to that child if you had the chance in a journal. Revisit the situation and then try to look at it from different perspective. Try to forgive anyone who may have been involved in that memory. There are dozens of ways that this can manifest. I hope that you find this helpful and have a wonderul week! Absolutely, my favorite go to book regarding Spiritual Awakening.
If you are going through a Spiritual Awakening or Acension process you must own this book. I simply have not found a book as accurate about the Spiritual Awakening process or anywhere close to the level of understanding that Jamie Sam's shows in this book. Other people might intellectualize the Spiritual Awakening Process but Jamie Sams has gone through it. In describing the 7 sacred paths of Human Transformation she covers in a mere chapter what other offers have written an entire book about. Plus, she has gone farther through this process then any other person I have ever encountered in any form. Even more cray is although the Spiritual Awakening has begun in earnest in the last two years....(in other words around 2015ish)...Jamie Sams wrote this back in the lated 90's when No One Else was really talking about it. This was back round the time of the Celestine Prophecy book which wasn't written by someone who really experienced the process fully...and was written as more of a fictional action adventure. This book was also WAY before the Secret but contains information that is very similar to the Law of Attraction described in that book. She even talks about synchronicity and about an alternate parallel world. To do this book justice I will have to cover each of the Seven Sacred Paths at a time in upcoming blogs. Look forward to that starting in January. I may also include these 7 paths in my Maps of the Psyche YouTube videos. If you haven't read this book, as I said before, and you are even remotely spiritual or going through the Awakening/Ascending/Self-Realization/Self-Actualization process go out and buy it now.
This National Geographic video asked people on the street if Peace was Possible.
My first reaction was no. Peace on Earth, true peace, would be one heck of a miracle. I found that response repellent. Thoughts are things. Inevitably everything we think is a product of experiences or a deep hidden secret within our own inner psyche. How could I find inner peace in my life and inside my own mind, which I have, and not believe peace was possible in the outer world? Clearly, this thinking was out of alignment with my core essence. What in me was not at peace that I would think peace is not possible for the entire planet? Then I sat and meditated on this idea. I've experienced slipping back into my conditioned fearful state when triggered by a familar situation that was terrifyiing last time (pregnancy) and I learned how to return back to the peace. I have let go of all of those fears and embraced the unknown with absolute love. Either way, life finds a way- to quote Jurassic Park. Surely, my knee jerk conditioned response of no belongs to an old style of thinking. So, if I can do this then surely other people can and the entire planet can. Why Isn't There Peace Now? Well, I can venture my guesses. 1.Fear 2. People become attached to groups of like minded people and then try to force everyone else to agree with them to validate their Ego and Group Think. 3. A desire to be more important then everyone else or to 'win.' 4. Most people aren't Seeking Absolute Truth or on The Path. 5. Most people don't want to Know Themselves and face their shadow. 6. Society is focused on consumerisim and feeding the needs of the individual and not benefitting all of humanity. 7. Most people are broken and don't want to heal themselves. They want someone else to do it for them whether it's a guru or a personal savior. 8. Addiction to drama and misery because it's exciting. Could it Happen? Absolutely, it can happen. If I can reach peace within myself...even to the point of losing it by going into an old conditioned state...and then retaining it anyone can. I believe anything I can obtain anyone can happen. So, how would it happen? How is Peace on Earth possible? Well, strangely, there are answers. God Consciousness The only way I can think that all of humanity could reach this state of being would be for all people to reach God/Krsna/Christ Consciousness. Then they would see the divisions as madness. That there are no 'teams' that are 'right' or 'wrong' or 'better' within the One Creation. Everything is of equal value. The One Creator has no favorites because we are an aspect of the Divine Personality. Any part the One Creator rejected would be a form of the One Creator rejecting itself. People would see that arranging themselves into teams and what team is right doesn't matter. Then they would seek harmony. As Isaiah 2:4 says, "They will beat their swords into plowshares and their spears into fishing hooks. Nation will not take up sword against nation, nor will they train for war anymore." Entering this God/Krsna/Christ consciousness would be the second coming of Christ. Jesus was Adam who is the Divine Personality that had thirty lives on this planet. He went through the same crucible as all of us...those who are his companions (which includes all of life) as given to him by the One Creator...are going through. So, there you go....this would truly be the Age of Christ because we would know that we are consciously One with the Divine Personality. As Edgar Cacye said, "Know yourself as yourself, and yet One with God." The idea that we can be both is a bit abstract and so out of the concept that society currently holds that it's pretty much talking nonsense to people who haven't gone a good way down the Path/Tao of the self. So, I don't expect many people to comprhend or accept this concept. Just consider it as a possibility in an alternate imaginative world. Breaking The Barrier I would say everyone would need to reach this state but that's not true. That's not how this works. So, the ones who want others to do the work for them are kind of right. Each person who reaches self-realization/self-actualization is doing it for the entire whole of humanity. Although, it's an inward personal journey of their personal healing every person that reaches wholeness serves everyone. Just enough people would have to reach this state of Oneness or understanding Oneness for it to expand to the point where everyone suddenly simply just 'knows' it for themselves. Then it will simply become common knowledge as though people never had the Illusion of Seperation. Essentially, one monkey learned how to wash their potatoe on an isolated island. Then that monkey went and taught several in her littel family. When enough monkeys on that island had learned the trick a bunch of monkeys on another island spontaneously did it...as though it entered their group consciousness and everyone had acess to it suddenly. One of the guys at the Edgar Cacye Arzona A.R.E., John Schrooeder, put's it another way. For a long time people thought that the 4 minute mile couldn't be broken. Then Roger Bannister broke it and poof...a bunch of other athletes did as well. Then it became common for the four minute mile to be broken. That's what we are talking about here. This is what is possible. Is This The Purpose of The Awakening? We are on this planet during a time when more people are Awakening then ever before. A lot are hearing the call from Spirit and starting their Seeking path. A lot of people have come here to this planet at this time from other dimensions and planets to aid us with this achievement. They've walked the path to Wholeness before so they have faith they can Awaken Inside the Dream this time too. (I believe I'm one of those people, although, I first came in to incarnating on Earth during the time of Jesus to help with what should have been a transition then but it failed miserably and I died a horrible death in that life.) The whole of humanity has been asleep. Surely, people will slide as I talked about in my post entitled The Path. They will try to get someone to do the work for them and be led by some false teacher who's feeding their ego that they have a special mission on Earth that only they can do that will save the planet or they will seek in the desire for power feeling they are the savior of the entire world or can harness spiritual knoweldge to gain worldly riches (which I've never understood)...when we're really only capableo of being the savior of our own personal subjective reality and trying to do the work for others or shield them from the ugly parts of the Path actually keeps them from their full potential. Once everyone has turned within and found how to heal themselves, or at least significant amount, then as a unified whole of humanity we rise together. The process doesn't have to be completed (I'm not sure that it really ever is a complete and finished process as long as we are in material reality) but every time someone turns within to heal themselves and goes a little ways down the path (they might not reach god-consciousness or unity-mind in this life) it adds to the cumulative total. Yet, if enough people move into God Consciousness, seeking to serve the collective and the Divine Personality...the lives they touch will be influenced...and it will send out a ripple effect. Then that barrier will be broken. For All Times. Then we will truly be in the New Age. Working Together Can Rearrange The Universe This comes from the Edgar Cacye Material. When the A.R.E. was trying to find what location they wanted for their headquarters they worked together. They decided between two properties and then went to Edgar Cacye to see if their decision was the correct one. What Edgar Cacye told them was that of the two properties the second one, the one they had chosen, was originally the lesser of the two. But because the group had worked together the universe had rearranged itself to make the property they chose the best one. This is how manifestation really works. Manifestation is not about you focusing on what you desire so much that you can think of nothing else and some big undertaking on your part. When you find harmony in your life, some people call this the flow, when you go with that harmony the way naturally opens for you. The things you need come to you when you need them. When enough people are in God Consciousness and working for the unity of this world it will naturally, by the natural order of things, rearrange everything so that it happens. The process starts with the inward path, the eventual healing and owning of our Shadown, the submission to the One Creator and Divine Personality...and then that energy naturally flows into every aspect of our lives. Conclusion If I had not Awakened myself to God Consciousness and my purpose/role in this world I would say, "No, peace on Earth is not possible. People hardly ever seem to achieve peace within themselves so it is unlikely they will seek peace in the outer world." Since I've obtained that and submitted completely to the Will of the One Creator...I know I won't be the only one and that it's not as hard as people make it appear nor is it for an elite group. If just enough people Awaken Within the Dream and remember who they are the barrier will be broken. Others will naturally be swept along in the tide of the change. Then everyone will achieve this state of being...and peace within themselves. We don't have to depend on or change others. This will just come to them as an apparent knowing or epiphany that no one else has to teach them. They will just suddenly know it one day because it will just be a part of who they are... Then we will enter the Golden Age of Aquarius where the Spirit of God abides within us consciously without an outer manifestation being needed. That would be the Second Coming. We've had access to the inner temple for a long time but people are still trying to force it through the outer world. Is it possible? Yes, absolutely. Is it going to happen in my lifetime? I have to say yes, absolutely because it's already happened in my own individual subjective reality. As I noted before, people are a little bit behind me...I seem to be at the forefront of this spiritual wave. I would never imagine having a conversation at work about the Annunaki at work with someone who knew about them but it happened. More people then ever are taking the first steps and it's like a domino effect where a whole wave of people are venturing onto the path. What an awesome time to be alive and to know hope so undoutingly when everyone else is mired in doom and gloom being spouted by the media and politicians!
I tottally forgot to post this weeks YouTube video on Friday. I had already made the video way before Friday but somehow things have been so busy I didn't post it.
This one is a bit different because it goes into a set of esteem needs anyone can achieve at any time. The first few that everyone chases after are just tehse illusions people think they need. Yet, when you people achive the Greater set of Esteem Needs they find out how much of an illusion that first set are in life. I really enjoyed making this video and it just came together perfectly and so easily that I forgot to post it. I thought I had somehow. Next week is going to be a Travelers Notes video. I'm going to share a guided meditation that I do every night before I go to sleep that has really helped me. Part of the reason I have to do that is because Self-Actualization...the final part of Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs is a bit tricky and while a lot of people have an opinon on the subject here isn't much substatial information based on what Maslow himself said. So, I ordered a book called Fatherst Reaches of Human Nature that was publisehd after Maslow died with information he didn't include in his earlier books. In this book he goes more into self-actualization and peak experiences. I'll need about a week to read the book so I can then share the information in the video. Of course, that means I'll probably review that book in the coming weeks on here. I picked up The Life You Were Born To Live back in 2007 when I was getting back into my spiritual point of view. This book happened to be at a local book seller that had the most amazing books (unfortunately she shut down because a Coffee and Bean moved into the shopping center).
I love this book! The basic premise of this book is similar to numerology but very different. Millman doesn't claim he created the system but that he just put it into book form. You add up your birthday to get your life number. Mine adds up to 32 and then you add those to digits to get 5. So, I am a 32/5. The author suggests reading it occasionally. Not being obssessed with it. Knowing your lifepath number you can see what your biggest challenges are and what your 'purpose' is in this incarnation. While the Life Path numbers appear to be pretty general I have checked out many different people's life paths numbers and while it totally applys to them it is unique to them. My life path is not even close to what my husbands says and what my best friends says...yet, I can see how their life path number does describe their struggles and strengths. The book provides the single digit meanings of the life path numbers. For example, I have to look up 3 and 2. Those two numbers influence my entire life path number. However, 5 is the predominate energy that I am work. I think anyone who follows this blog or knows me should see clearly that these issues are those that I struggle with. For me, knowing that it is a small percentage of people and one of 37 life paths that people can be on, it keeps me from thinking my path is the same as everyone elses. To give you an idea of how this life path number thing works here is a brief snippet mine: 32/5 5: Freedom and Discipline 2. Cooperation and Balance 3: Expression and Sensitivity "Those on the 32/5 or 23/5 life path are here to work through issues related to independence, emotional honesty, and cooperation, finally experiencing freedom through discipline and depth of experience. Since our life path presents hurdles to overcome, oth 32/5's and 23/5's confront internal challenges, tendencies, and conflicts in areas of dependence and independence, responsibility, and honest expression of emotion... Most 32/5's have deeper issues around cooperation than their counterparts; they tend to give their all for someone, even letting go of their own multifacted identity and, chamelonlike, adapting to the values, interests, and desires of their partner. Then, somewhere down the line to the degree they have ignored their own needs, they may withdraw emotionally or become resentful. Both 32/5's and 23/5's are here to experience true freedom." To give you an idea of what the individual number- the 5- in my number here is a brief description of the chapter on 5." 5: Freedom and Discipline "Individuals working 5 as a life purpose are here to find inner freedom through discipline, focus and depth of experience. However, because the path to our life path purpose can be steep and rocky, those whith 5 as their primary life purpose and all those with 5 in their birth number experience difficulties in the areas of both freedom and discipline; they swing between dependence and independnece, and althought ey may apply temporary, even heroic, discipline at times, they soon get bored with routine. Ultimately, an experiance of inner freedom stands paramount for 5s; without it, they feel like prsioners no matter what their circumstanecs; with it, nothing can bind them. Such inner freedom manifests int he world as self-reliance and indepdencce of action. Until 5s have realized a sense of inner and outer freedom that flows from dsicipline and focus, they tend to alternate between feelings and situations of extreme dependence and reactive indpendence. The quest for freedom and independence leads most 5s to seek a breadth of experience; yet they are here more for depth of experience." Compare That To My Husband's Life Path 31/4 and 13/4 4: Stability and Process 1:Creativity and Confidence 3: Expression and Sensitivity "Those on the 31/4 or 13/4 life path are here to work through issues of stability, creativity, and emotional expression, learning to channel their energy in constructive ways and to master a step by step process to their goals. Since our life purpose doesn't ocme easily, 31/4's hae to overcome self-doubt and insecurity to develop the confidence neccesary to follow a long, sometimes arduous process to reach their goals. Until then, they operate on hopes, wishes, or enthusiastic illusions. Since both 31/4's and 13/4's are here to ground their energy and develop secure foundations, they often confront tendencies toward instability and lack of commitment, which run counter to their life purpose. To overcompensate for insecurity, many develop highly ambitious, even egotistical personas- "big egos" that work to prove their worth as they strive to stay in a superior position due to fears of inferiority beneath the surface. The combination of strong foundation energy, creative energy, and expressive energy gives 31/4's and 13/4's a well balanced, synergistic blend of strength, sensitivity, and creativity. This blend of energies, combined with a drive for security and strong ambitions, creates a multifaceted potential for success. When these qualities and drives are working in harmony, can accomplish their highest aspirations. But if these same qualities and drives work against one another or manifest in negative ways, then frustration and failures cloud their lives." A Snippet of the 4 Life Path Number Stability and Process Individuals working 4 as their life purpose are here to achieve stability and security by patientily following a gradual process toward selected goals. Achieving security- a solid foundation- is a desirable goal for anyone; for 4s, however, it forms the core of their life purpose. Since what we're here to do doesn't neccesairly come easily, those with 4 as a primary life purpose confront significant issues in the areas of stability, commitment, patience, clarity, and willingness to follow a sometimes slow or arduous process to their goals. Before 4s can establish stability in the world, they need to create a sense of inner stability- physically, emotionally, and mentally- as the first essential step toward reaching their goals in the world. The saying "Proper preperation prevents poor performance" serves as a good remind for 4s, whose preperation may include cearling unspoken issues with parents or other family members who served ast heir early foundation in life. Their preperation may also require them to commit to a relationship, commit to a present location, or commit to a line of work: in other words, to stay put, because a tree can't blossom until it grows deep roots. Putting down roots is not hte first inclination of those 4s who have not yet begun integrating their life purpose. Then Compare It To My Best Friend's Life Path 34/7 & 43/7 7: Trust and Openness 4: Stability and Process 3: Expression and Sensitivity "Those on 34/7 life path are here to work through issues of trust, paitience, and emotional expression and to have faith in the spiritual process operating whitn their life, establishing security by finding practical ways to contribute to others. This life path presents the opportunity of blending the incisive mind of 7's with the down to earth practicality of mature 4's and the sensitivey and expressiveness of 3's. Because of the influence of 4, finda a sense of communion or unconditional trust depends on them following a step by step process of self-discovery. The deepry they go inside, the farther they see outside. Since our life purpose always offers some tests and hurdles, they may feel their energies in conflict, polarized and pulling in different directions. While 7 tends to pull them "upward" into the higher mind or in some cases into metaphysical interests and practices, 4 tends to pull them "downward" into daily life, family, and practical business concerns. As these 7 and 4 energies mature and integrate, they form a powerful synthesis, enabling them tobuild a kind of bridge between heave and Earth in creative ways, such as making money while bringing more beauty, happiness or awareness into the world. Snippet of 7 Trust and Openness Individuals working 7 as their life purpose are here to trust the light or spirit within them, in others, and in the process of their lives so that they feel safe enough to open up and share their inner beauty with the world. What we're here to do doesn't usually come easily, however, so those with 7 as their primary life purpose and all those with a 7 in their birth number encounter issues in the areas of trust and openness. The energy of 7s flows inward. Even though they may find great success in the world in numerous fields, their deepest drives and destiny involve inner processing rather then external achievement. For most sevens, even those who enjoy success in their work, career is part of a larger, deeper search, whether or not they are yet fully aware of it. Many 7s have jobs so that they can earn money to pursue other interests. Their primary work takes place within. Most 7s need a lot of private space or time; they tend twoards indepdence and are often loners; even if they appear gregarious, they rarely share their private inner process due to subtle fears of being shamed. Some 7s who lack boundaries shar everything, then later feel hurt, betrayed or misunderstood. Conclusion I highly recommend that someone seeking to know themselves better buy this book. I always go back to it and re-read my life path and the corresponding numbers. As you can tell, the different life path numbers are dramatically different. There are a few similarities. Yes, it is a generalized bit of information but particular information does pertain to different people. I know my life path number is spot on. I pull this book out every time I feel a bit of a kink in the path I'm traveling to attain some guidance. In addition to the different Life Path Numners, both the combination and the individual there are also natural laws that the different life path numbers are referred to at the end of the book. This book is just completely stuffed with information. You can buy this book on Amazon and at Barnes & Noble.
