I've been wanting to write this for some time.
One of the things that I've been feeling is that people are just being people. We're fallible imperfect beings. There is no right answer to everything. I've accepted human behavior as it is and no longer feel the need to change it. A lot of what we talk about in this world and we are so concerned about is people being people. Whether it's some crazy politician or it's some celebrity...people are just being people. As Humans, what we really seem to be concerned with the most is what everyone else is doing. Personally, unless it affects me directly I really don't care about things. I can be horrified, I can be shocked and I can be baffled on the behalf of others...but at the end of the day if it doesn't have a direct impact on my life I don't care too much. To me this is more of a defense mechanisim. If I let in all of the terrible stuff that happens to people and their terrible mistakes I am more likely to live in a state of fear. That's why I tuned out of regular news. I really don't care too much if there is a Volcano erupting in Iceland as long as no one gets hurt or if a tropical storm rampages another country. Those are 'acts of god' as they used to call them and quite frankly totally out of control and to live in fear of those random weird things that happen would be bananas. We had a couple of Earthquakes that would topple parts of third world countries here but thanks to policies and a less-corrupt than third world countries government thankfully things are built to a standard to where it didn't even phase the people who live here. People being people. Now, that sounds harsh but I believe people should be allowed to do whatever they want as long as it doesn't affect me. Now, if it affects a lot of other people in an unfair manner I do care because that may impact me in the future..but there is so little to be done about a lot of things. Public Opinon matters but at the same time things are slow to change. It is similar to accepting that Corruption is status quo in governments- even Democracies- and there doesn't seem to be a way to get rid of it. Similar to how I feel all lobbyists (legal bribery) should be kicked out of Washington D.C. but no matter how many citizens believe that it is unlikelythe system will ever change because the people who can change it are the ones who benefit. Yet, most of what people discuss as they are so fascinated with one another is so boring. Yes, there is drama....people cheating on each other, politicians putting each other down or mass murderers can seem fascinating. There are talk shows and TV shows that depend on all three for subject matter (are talk shows really still a thing? I'm not sure). To me both are just gross and should be ignored to discourage the behavior. We reward bad behavior with attention as a species. So, when I hear about people being stupid or people doing outrageous things I've just hit the point where I say, "Sounds like people are peopleing." I know the latter is not a word but it is the best description. I think it's a better word then Ris or Based- both of which are so peoplely. I don't know. In a way I am so fascinated that Humanity is so fascinated with itself. In a lot of ways its always been that way. That is why the religion say that humans are set apart from the rest of nature or philosophers say that we are the 'rulers' of the world...or Alchemists believe we are here to 'complete' creation. While all of that may be true... ...it is amazing how stuck we are on ourselves. Not that we aren't into discovery of the outer reality. We still have Scientists naming the thousands of stars out there and others finding the 1999th type of frog that has never been documented before...there is so much more out there to discover but not much that is really new or interesting. Yet, why? I always ask myself, "Does this improve my life in some way?" Usually, when people are peopleing it's not. I guess that's why I am not really into Shorts. I tried to watch TikTok and get into that but it is so not my jam. So boring. People doing really stupid things or saying really stupid things...The same goes with YouTube Shorts and the majority of entertainment....it's usually dramatized bits of human interaction and that is about it. While I think it's fascinating that humans are so fascinated with their own species that we talk about little else it does become boring. I can't think about any content that isn't about human inventions or human activities. It is always people doing things or inventing things or creating things. I've hit a point where I think the world has enough things that inventing more seems silly. There seems like very little innovation already but beyond the technology we have no there isn't much more use for it unless it replaces people. Then if technology replaces people doing jobs, the question is how do they make an income because people have always made money making things. Unless society wildly changes and what we value changes dramatically that is very unlikely. People being people. People also love talking about and learning about themselves. I think that's why gossip and politics are so popular. We think by learning about others, learning what motivates them, we will learn about ourselves. I am, quite frankly, not at that point in my life. In fact, not only do I know myself well enough that I know I can't learn about myself from others but I am also not interested as much in myself. I've discovered and explored all of that and I don't really surprise myself anymore. So, what am I interested in if it is not others or myself? Depth of experiences. That is what I really enjoy. I enjoy having an experience with my littles and being really into it. There are times where I am completely transported from everyday life to just enjoying a new experience when I focus on it. Most of the stuff that people report on or talk about is so....well normal and we've heard it before...so it's boring. It really isn't a new experience to hear about a politician lieing or taking money from a big corporation. While it's not okay that's normal there is no real way for the average citizen to change it so there is not much reason to get excited. Usually, it seems as though the reason such things come out is because someone has made enemies and that enemy is trying to get rid of competition. I am no longer out to change the world either. There is a huge push in the Spiritual Community to change the world. These days, as I accepted people being who they are and doing what is natural I have no desire to change my outer reality to fit my perspective and ideas. I look at Trump or Biden and I think, "They are people doing the best they can with what they have and both think they're right." Neither is 'scary' as some people would try to get you to think. Sad, yes, but not scary. Yet, while there are ways that we see a difference in our lives because of the President and the Policies that they put into place...it is so subtle that it is almost not noticeable. There are a lot of factors that go into how our daily life goes and those politicians in the sphere of influence closer to us are more impactful. Yet, most people ignore them. People being people. A lot of people are self-absorbed and believe that what they are doing is important too. Every job is important from the lowest worker to the riches man in the world. I see both equally. I see humanity itself on a huge learning curve about itself and often times to learn we fail or we make mistakes. That's what I see when I look at humanity. A huge species of beings so fascinated with themselves they care about little else. I can't blame humanity though. We still live on the edge of safety in our lives. At any moment we could have a nuclear war and a huge percentage of the population can be wiped off. Just look at whats happening in Gaza and you can see how easily a life can be snuffed out, shortened or ruined let alone an entire culture just wiped awy. The good news is that the rest of the world is stepping up to say, "No," this time to the violence. I understand that there are people on both sides of the aisle. People think they need to choose sides. I don't care if there is a Free Palestine, personally, or if it is occupied by Israel as seems to be the inevitable conclusion to the Hamas/Israel War. In a fair world there would be a Two State Solution but this is not a fair world. Looking at the people of Palestine they are not helping themselves and have/are resorting to violence instead of seeking a peaceful solution. In their shoes I may resist too. Yet, I also believe since it exists Israel deserves to continue to exist. We can't just eradicate one country or people to make another happy and both groups seems to be bent on getting rid of the other. The only thing the world can do to solve the problem is work on Peace, an end to the violence, for both sides. The people in Gaza need to stop trying to kill the people in Israel and the people in Israel need to stop the military intervention in Gaza. Again, on both sides it's people just being people...both sides have justifiable perspectives and the world seems unable to come up with a solution that will make both happy...so we sit aside and let things sort themselves out on a survival of the fittest level because in the Middle East that's just how they think. A housewife like myself in the United States has a very different reality then a mother in Palestine. We're both struggling to find the right path in the world but that path is going to be different. Even if I could give my lifestyle to a woman in Palestine...even if we could bring them the level of comfort that we have in the United States they have the right to say no to it. That's the insanity of the Democracy for everyone approach that the United States has had in the past...bringing prosperity to someone who didn't earn it or fight for it is insanity. They simply aren't going to accept it...if they wanted prosperity they would have created it on their own just as we did. The mere idea that if we could share our prosperity with third world countries it would fix them....an idea that people really seem to have...doesn't mean that it would. Somehow, Culture has been left out of the picture in many people's minds but that is a potentially very controversial blog that I may write. So, that is all I wanted to say. When I see people doing things I just think, "That's people peopleing," it is totally normal. People will always look out for themselves first. People will always mostly be interested in themselves. People will always project on others. We may say that is not how it should be from some sort of warped perspective thinking our behavior is different. I've decided to accept things as they are...and people peopleing is just a part of that...they are going to do what they want no matter what other people tell them because most of humanity has to learn things the hard way....through failure, through turmoil, and through breakdowns. We can't save people from themselves. So, let people be people. Accepting human behavior for what it is instead of trying to change the world and other coumtries into the U.S. just seems more sane. We can't change other peoples cultures just by giving them things, including money. The fact that as a Country we thought that would work is the really sad thing. People being people. I'm sure there was plenty of money in it for plenty of people. There are no good solutions to a lot of the problems that we have and they come from basic human nature. Yet, we have far less problems then we ever had before...most of the problems we do have come from human behavior that cannot be changed by any outer influence. The only way the world will change is if the majority people go within, work on themselves, treat others as they would like to be treated and seek peace/prosperity in all of its forms. Yet, there will continue to be a wide amount of experiences across the board for souls to partake in here on Earth. That's one of the things that make this world so interesting.

Wow.
That's not a good wow but a bad one. This movie was so much worse than I expected. I don't even know where to begin. The script must have been written by a lonely cat woman. Literally Captain Marvel starts off as a lonely cat woman. Right away, I have to question why they would target the lonely cat lady audience. Honestly, I don't think there are that many of them. Maybe there are but I doubt, for some reason, that they would be watching the MCU. There were parts of this movie that were just weird and never explained. A lot of it simply didn't make any sense. This was too much like a cartoon. Maybe it would have been entertaining if it was an animated episode of "What if?" There is a rule in writing. You have to keep things believable. You can't get too weird or the audience won't be immersed. Distracting things that jar a person out of a movie because they are so unbelievable cause a problem. I had to ask myself why did Thor Ragnarok work but this doesn't work? That took place on the Hulk planet but...it wasn't written by a lonely cat lady. Not to mention the actors in that film didn't take it too seriously and they were comedic. The actors in this movie were not funny and took it too seriously. The planet where singing was their language and Carol Danvers magically turned out to be a princess was pretty bad. How and why her outfit could magically transform into a princess dress but then she had to change into a super hero costume that looked like the one she had on before...I didn't get the purpose of that. Not to mention they just happened to have a Ms. Marvel and whatever Monica is outfit already made.... That world made absolutely no sense. Not to mention they never saved it...at least part of the ocean was stolen and the tear in space didn't seem to be fixed so it was a huge plot hole. Was it destroyed? They are just suddenly not there and they never go back. A lot of this movie was fluffy nonsnese. My five year old daughtere did like parts of it but obviously she wasn't the main audiance for the movie...or if she was that was a terrible marketing idea. The whole team up of Captain Marvel, Ms. Marvel, and Monica never felt like it gelled. There are moments in movies when teams come together and it really didn't feel as though that ever happened in this movie. They tried, I think, but it just never felt legit. I'm not sure the actors liked each other. Ms. Marvel meeting Captain Marvel should have been a special moment but it was just awkward. Iman Vellani (Ms. Marvel) was easily the best part of the movie....and no one watched her series for some reason (even though it was really good). The whole story with the S.A.B.E.R. space station being evacuated with the Fleurkins was not neccesary. Especially since it was restored at the end of the movie. That entire stupid sequence could have and should have been excluded and the movie. That was just terrible. I think they were attempting to be funny. I think they were going for zany funny but it didn't make any sense...no one seemed to tell the actors except for Iman who, again, was the highlight of the movie. Not to mention all of those alien cats on Earth seems like a bad idea and what happened to all of them? Another huge plot hole. So, they went way too far into fantasy in this movie which made it terrible and tried to make comedic movie with people who were not funny. The Villian was terrible. I think Jeremy Jahns called it discount Ronin. That seems pretty accurate. They couldn't bring back Ronin who was a more interesting villian so they created a female version. The actress who played the charecter did a terrible job. This movie couldn't decide if it wanted to be a whacky comedy or a serious movie. The whacky parts, by far, made it awful and the premise was not serious. This could have been cute...just leave out discount Ronin, the whole Annhilator plot line which felt like it belonged to another movie, and focus on exchanging places and maybe learning something as a result. Instead, this thing barely had a plot and that gimmick didn't work. Collective Meaning I can't think of the Collective Meaning for this one. I think it is no surprise that this movie was rejected. Again, the failure really doesn't have to do with the characters neccesarily. The movie was just bad and reviewers warned people before they spent money on it. I still like strong female charecters. The writing was the main problem. Did Marvel go way too far into forcing women into the central role of absolutely everything? Yes, they did. Does Marvel or anyone seem to know how to make a good Superhero movie with a female charecter? No, they don't. As for the M-She-U references and that it is dead...and that is probably a good thing...I am glad. I do want to see female super heros but I want their stories to be good. This going through the motions while not really undrestanding the core audiance needs to stop. The actors and the directors should read the comics. They should go for the comic book accuracy as much as possible. Conclusion This was the movie I anticipated the most last year. I admit, even I didn't see it in theaters after hearing reviews. So, it is with all honesty that I say... I don't recommend The Marvel's. Is it the worst movie in the MCU? I would rank this above Antman 3- Quantumania, Thor Three (I don't even recall the name of that one), Eternals, Secreat Invasion, SheHulk and Falcon and the Winter Soldier. Granted when I saw a lot of those titles I hadn't hit the bottom of SheHulk (pure absolute rubbish). Still, it wasn't good and it's not a movie I will watch again. Once was enough. Yikes! This is a mostly bitter Full Moon. There are two main aspects that leap out at me. The big deal, that has been going on for some time but is almost exactly conjunct is the Chiron and North Node Conjunction. At the same time, thankfully, Mars and Venus are conjunct in Aquairus. Chiron and the North Node, as I've shared before is focusing on Collective Wounds. Mars, Venus and Pluto in Aquarius seems to be initiating something really new in the Collective. Meanwhile, the Stellum of Mercury (conjunct the Sun), Saturn and Neptune in Pisces really puts the emphasis on the Collective Unconcious. Jupiter in Taurus is the busiest. He is square Mars and Venus as though opposing what our Mind and Heart are creating for the Collective. At the same time he is in a supportive Sextile to the Sun in Pisces and Trine to the Moon in Virgo. He would like the status quo of things. At the same time the Jupiter/Saturn Sextile continues. Black Moom Lilith is in a Supportive Trine to Uranus and Jupiter. She is lending her support to the transformation happening on the Earth Plane. Oracle Stone: Septarian A stone of wisdom. The name itself refers to the Cracks in it. Sage Goddess says it best, "...helps you honor the cracks within yourself." A great stone for reaching out to the Ancestors. Further Thoughts When you look at the Symbolisim for this Full Moon it looks dire. Lightening strikes and we are left with the cracks as though our hearts have been exposed. Chiron is the Wounded Healer and he is really running the show in the first part of this year. We can choose to heal our Shadow or we can let it control us. Septarian seems to be asking us to own our Dragon Heart's and own all of our flaws. New Moon Meditation I am writing this blog for the New Moon in February 2023. I write these to be ahead of all of the hype other astrologers make of things so that I give my 100% authentic opinion of each chart. I really enjoyed Echo and recommend watching it.
I don't understand the criticism of the series. It was not woke, unless you consider exploring Indigenous traditions woke. Maybe it's because I am an Indigenous descendent but I doubt that bias really exists. If I thought it was woke I would complain. I really liked the mix of seeing her ancestors in the different episodes as she had the vision of them. I thought it was a clever super power to have the abilities that her ancestors had and that her ancestors warned her when trouble showed up. Overall, I would place this on the same level as Hawkeye. I really enjoyed the series. Was it my favorite out of the MCU...no but it's pretty high up there. For me this is the right mix of action and super powers. There was more emphasis on the story then thr super power. I also liked the storyline with Fisk. The idea that she would try to heal him at the end was brilliant. So, all in all, I really enjoyed this series. This is the best thing to come from thr MCU in a long time so I'll celebrate it. Collective Meaning Given that this was so focused on the Indigenou point of view I would like to think that it shows that people are more open to other perspectives. I think that this exists means that we are going in the right direction when it comes to portraying cultures other then just the Christian point of view. People are staring to be more open to other perspectives. So I think this is a positve step in the right direction. At the same time, the fact that this series was 'dumped' on Disney+ all at once and people are suggesting it was buried or Kevin Feige said it was terrible I really wonder if that is really the case. I think the people who are criticizing this series are people who have become reall anti-super hero women (calling them Mary Sues but look at Superman...that charecter is never challenged) and not just ant-woke (which I can admit I am not not into the Woke thing very much either). I like these sorts of series and movies with women as the main super hero charecters so I would be very unhappy if they go the way of the do-do because some men can't accept the idea of a strong female charecter or they can't handle seeing the Indigenous American point of view on things. Echo is no She-Hulk (which I hated, was the ultimate woke series, and really turned me off to the MCU to the point that only a compelling established charecter like Echo would cause me to tune in again). The Woke haters, however, seem to have lost their ability to distinguish between something good and something terrible simply based on the race and gender of the main charecter. Is The MCU Lost I think the MCU has lost the Zeitgeist and I don't think it is coming back. They took too many chances on properties and directors that turned out to be stinkers. I understand there are slim pickings in Hollywood when it comse to Directors but I'll never forget SheHulk's director saying she sold them on a Legal Thriller, realized she couldn't do it, and delivered trash basically...and that series got the full treatment of any of the other properties when it should have been dumped on Disney+. So yeah, mostly SheHulk left a bad taste in my mouth and I don't see that going away. They are leaning really hard into female leads, which I don't mind so much, but a lot of the men seem to mind. They really need to back off of the Female Leads for awhile. There have been too many too fast...to where they almost seem to be excluding the masculine and I can understand the angst. I also don't think that Feige is the mastermind that he seemed to be before or that all of it adds up to some new chapter. I think their new bad that was supposed to be Kang the Conquerer, and while they chose an excellent actor, I don't think that the charceter works. After the huge fail of Quatumnmania I think they would do well to find a new tactic....but it will never add up to the Avengers. I don't think there is a team up that they could do that could end up being a exciting as that or well done. When they kept things simple and focused on quality they did much better so I am glad that they are cutting back drastically on what they are releasing. Hopefully, Deadpool 3 won't be a dumpster fire. I feel as though they already screwed up the Multiverse with multiverse of Madness and there is no way for them to really fix it. Echo was the only series and property I was really looking forward to seeing this year other then Deadpool 3. I'm worried about Dune 2 as well, because there are hints they may have gone 'woke' with that too. So, I read this book thinking that Carl Jung would examine Alchemy and share it's psychological meaning.
There is very little Alchemy or Psychology in this book. The majority of this book discusses the dreams of one of Jungs clients. The dreams are vague (personal details were removed) and the explaination or commentary after them was often vaguely mentioning Alchemy. The dreams mostly involve the Anima of the client. They were interesting. Then there is an entire section where he examines the Unicorn as a symbol for Spirit by including descriptions from different cultures. Jung does link the Subconcious with Spirit so that is a nice validation of my work. Yet, that was at the end when discussing the Unicorn. If anything, the most helpful thing is that he referenced Ripley just as Paul Foster Case so I am going to buy a collection of Ripley's work which is apparently poetry from the 1400's. At the end of the book Carl Jung summarizes his view of Alchemy as: "...that the real goal of the entire process- the production of the incorruptible substance.." pg 478 He goes on to describe it as projection of the archetypes and a process of individuation. I agree with the individuation as being a vital part of the process. Yet, he doesn't really detail where in the process of working with his client this comes in. There were some very interesting parts to this book such as the Regimens of Alchemy that he identified at the start but most of this book is forgettable without much substance. To say I was disappointed with this is an understatment. I don't recommend this book. The Astrology
This New Moon is at 20 degrees of Aquairus. That breaks down to two, the sign of duality. This is in the sign of Aquarius that is represented two different wave lengths that are operating in unison. This is mostly a harmonious chart where there is very little tension. This is a pen-ultimate Aquairus New Moon. We have the Sun, Moon, Mercury and Pluto in Aqua. Pluto is once again at 0 degrees of Aquarius. In many ways we find ourselves dealing with the same issues as March and April of 2023. Pluto is being supported by a conjunction of Mars in Capricorn. The results of this will be felt in the real world institutions. Mars meanwhile is also conjunct Venus in Capricorn. Our hearts and Willpower are goth behind this change in power on the Earthly level. Uranus in Taurus is the only sticking point as it is square the Sun and Moon. All of this harmonious energy is a bit much for the planet of Chaos. Saturn in Pisces and Jupiter in Taurus are in Sextile bringing in a literal representation of, "As in heaven, so on Earth." A simply gorgeous New Moon! Hebrew Letter- Tizadi Tizadi is the letter that starts the word for Righteousness. A righteous person is one that is a part of a community. They focus in right relations with everyone. Tarot Card The Astrology Card is The Star card. This is the card associated with Aquairus. You would think that this would be the card for Saggitarius. The name evokes that Disney song, "When you wish upon a star..." Yet, the symbolisim is very different. Instead, it shows the Absolute Unbounded Oneness of Divinity pouring out its abundance on both the Consciousness (the land) and the ocean (Subconscious) equally dispensing the essence of Creation or Prima Materia. Here the Conscious and Subconscious are in balance. This is, in many ways, a card symbolizing Awakening. Shaman's Oracle: Lightening Lightening can be a brilliant moment of illumination or it can physically harm us. Let's hope that this is a moment of clarity then one of destruction. This is also the union of Heaven and Earth. Tools This is a wonderful New Moon. This is a great moment to set a long term Intention. For Essential Oil I'm going to use Eternal Essences Aspen Winter Blend because it reminds me of what the air in a forest smells like during winter. For Incense I will use Wildberry's Dream Caster that is perfect for setting an Intention which is, in a way, a wish. For fire I will be using a White candle that I associate with Air. I'm really looking for items that bring Clarity. Each of the above invokes that them and so will the Grid. I also want to symbolize that Heaven and Earth connection. Most of these stones are stones that work with the entire Aura. Here is the Grid: Isis Point Quartz Generator: This is a stone of acceptance. Quartz also amplifies and brings clarity. Rutilated Quartz: This Quartz represents golden thoughts and with the Quartz adds to clarity/amplification. Tourmalated Quartz: This is a stone of amplified protection. Moonstone: The Moon represents the Subconcious and no stone represents it better then this stone New Moon Meditation I am writing this blog for the New Moon in February 2023.
