This video was a bit hard to make this week.
A terrible tragedy occurred that nearly obliterated my ability to think straight. Luckily, that situation is improving dramatically so for now things are stable. To discuss Will Power and not really discuss Free Will is very difficult! Yet, the two concepts *Are* different in some ways. Will Power is the freedom to choose how to apply energy. So it is like Will Power where we use our energy to reach the outcomes we desire. Yet, will power is a given. Most people will admit exists. Free Will, however, is the question of whether or not everything in our life is Pre-Destined or if every thing was meticulously planned by God so that even though we think we're deciding something for ourselves God made it so we had no real choice. That is an age old philosophical question. In fact, it's one that doesn't have a very good answer and may never be resolved to the point where everyone can agree on it (but that's a tough goal in general- especially in a society trying to seek it's identity right now). I have resolved the question for myself in my personal belief system. The essence of that question lies in comprehending that we are all One. As for the 'Source' there are two parts...one is a latent part that is and will always be the same that exists outside of time often symbolized by the void (Brahmen) and then there is the part that is the active principal (Atman) of which we are a part and that does have it's own conscious awareness that we are plugged into when in Spirit but shut out on purpose during Human life through the process of forgetting. The Atman or active principal part or All-That-IS as Bashar calls it...is learning about it self and always adding to it's information much as Thomas Campbell described it's like a computer system that is the in process of evolving and learning. This two part configuration would cause someone to answer the question, "Is it Free Well or Pre-Destination?" and the answer would be both. If you add to that...that in spirit according to the book Journey of Souls that we, as Souls, before we come into the material realm use a 'virtual reality' system. Much like playing a multiple ending RPG videgame we go through every possible variation of our upcoming life before living it (hence the reason we can have deja vu) as a way to choose the path we prefer to follow and try to remember certain things (such as the person we wish to marry in this life commonly referred to a 'soul mate')...you realize it is almost pre-destination on the soul level but as soon as we get into the material realm and have the block of forgetfulness there is a real unpredictable outcome. I know, that's a lot of information and I could break it down in more detail and perhaps I will do that in a future post. Yet, for me, that the conscious part that knows absolutely everything isn't an active participant in creation solves that issue. Anyways, I hope this video helps you to grow on your personal Spiritual Path.

Above is one of my original drawings. I made this in the depth of my depression after my daughters passing. The idea behind it is seeking deep into the water of the Earth and then allowing that to grow upward into a lotus. According to John Van Auken the open lotus held the scent of the heaven that we follow home. In this drawing I meant to invoke that by drawing Spirit down into me and grounding it into this world. At the time I didn't know the sun that I drew was a really accurate depiction of the 4 emanations of existence according to the traditions of Kabbalah.
* * * I was going to change subjects. I have some really amazing blogs that I wrote while deeply inspired this week. Yet, this Beast subject and what it means continues to be something that comes up in my daily life validating the insights provided by my dreams. I may end up adding updates until the summer on this subject. "In Revelation, when the disciple Jon sees the number 666, he knows what it symbolizes and why it is called the number of the beast: because it is the lower mind that never seeks higher consciousness and is not willing to endure the sacrifice necessary to reach such higher awareness. That sacrifice is symbolized in the number of the cross- 777- upon which one must "crucify desire" in self that your real potential may be realized." (John Van Auken, 2010 and Edgar Cacye reading 2475-1). Here is validation of what I had come to understand regarding the beast. The Sacral, or the adrenaline fueled chakra, is where the lower mind tends to dwell. This is why most people are on survival mode. Most people stay attuned to their earthly needs and rarely seek spiritual knowledge. Most, when they seek spirituality go too far and form an imbalance by becoming Monks/Priests/Nuns and trying to fully repress their human nature. Striking a balance is hard. Chakra Dreams Let me begin by explaining I think that my progression working with the chakras has been abnormal. Based on my research most people start off by awakening their lower chakra and ascending upward. I, however, was the opposite. My upper three chakras have always been opened (save when I turned my back on spirituality) and I have always been able to 'tune into' the Oneness. This might have to do with what the regressionist who first discovered this when attempting to heal me (and subsequently caused a real imbalance because I hadn't worked through the issues locked in those lower chakras) I may not have fully become grounded in this life for fear I'd have another experience as I did in my last life. In that life I was murdered and suffered a great deal...this time my spirit was ready to depart on a moments notice instead of suffering as the body died slowly as it did in that life. I have already covered the dreams in which I was shown that the lower chakra's were 'the beast.' Yet, it wasn't the scary beast most people conjure in their nightmares. In fact, it is just the animal like nature and instincts of our bodies. In a blog post where I was studying passages in the bible regarding the Kingdom of Heaven I discovered Jesus says often that we must 'overcome.' What are we overcoming? Sure some might say Satan but that's just another name for the beast...I feel he's talking about overcoming our human/animal like nature. Another dream theme that was co-current with the following were letting three strays into my house. I had many dreams with that as a theme. This was followed by a dream of adopting two children. To me this means I'm 'owning' or starting to integrate what these lower chakras symbolize. I realize this topic is intensely personal to me. They might not be of interest to the general public. Yet, the interesting parallel between me working with these energies as it crops up as a theme in movies is interesting. So, I offer this as a curiosity and little more. Dream One: Driving Down To The Three Chakras (3/8/17) I drove down a dirt road where a lot of people I love live. I was driving on the paved highway and I saw a man driving a truck down a parallel dirt road. He was going too fast and I heard a terrible pop. He had a flat tire. He stopped where the two roads met just before the road where everyone lived. I was going to offer to call AAA but he was on a cell phone probably getting help himself. Two other people were also with him on their cells phones. Both might have been women. They watched me apprehensively when I passed by. The first house was an old man. I knew him. He gave me something like a pressure washer. I then watered his yard. The second house I remembered as a kid. The feeling is similar to when you find something in a box you forgot about from the past. I thought Oh! I remember when I was a kid I would visit this house and go into a back room. There I would remove a metal strip from the old box freezer and place it on my forehead. This would cause the entire area along my spine to freeze. I remember leaving the door open and that it was so cold in that room I could see my breath. The third house was my Grandma Emma's house. I knew it had been sold in real life (this is where lucid dreaming can be interesting because things you know in the waking world influence how you perceive the dreaming world). There was a black dog that was friendly inside a kiddy gate with a little baby girl that looked like me when I was a toddler. The dog didn't care I was there as I watered the roses by the front door. It was when I saw a quilt that Grandma Emma made getting wet on the rocking chair by the kiddy gate that gate I got angry. I went in and the women living in my Grandma's house had many of Grandma Emma's things. There were four pictures of my relatives asleep tied with blue ribbon from a curtain rod. There was Grandma Alta, Grandma Emma and my Aunt Ruthie. All of them were sleeping, I don't know who the fourth was because I didn't get a very good look at that picture (that's Spirit's way of hiding things). There were more of my G. Emma's quilts pinned to the walls as decorations. I saw an old lady and I commented that she had a lot of my Grandma Emma's things. She even looked like Grandma Emma though I didn't realize it in the dream. My Grandma Emma has crossed over after all and the house is sold so my waking consciousness that was aware of the dream rejected that idea. The woman shared that she was watching her granddaughter. I asked the woman if I could take the pictures of Grandma Emma, Aunt Ruthie and, Grandma Alta. After all, those were my family members and didn't belong to her. I thought she must have found them in the garage. She said no. She liked those photos. I decided to ignore her and undid the first blue ribbon. When she protested I I went to give her a stack of cash. I wanted to give her a thousand dollars. I maybe had a couple hundred and that was not enough. I couldn't make the money manifest as I usually can in my lucid dreams. This dream wasn't responding which frustrated me. I decided to give her an IOU. She had a stack of green time cards that shone like emeralds in her hands. She said they were too old for me to use to pay the debt. I told her that I could use them. Interpertation I know from the dream that I was driving down and I know based on the symbolism of the third house that it was my Root Chakra. I recognized in previous dreams that my Grandma Emma represents to me a very worldly person. That was the key for me really unlocking the meaning of this dream. At the first house the Solar Chakra- I'm given a pressure washer to water the plants there and continue to the other houses to water them. This ties into my meditation that I do right before sleep. In that meditation I imagine each charka as being a Gerber daisy. I fill up the daisy chain starting from the crown chakra and then descending downward. I fill each with water causing the petals to open outward and I can tell the difference when I feel the body part associated with that chakra relax. Only when each is fully opened do I go on to the next chakra. So, this dream contained the idea of 'watering flowers.' At the second house, the Sacral Chakra, I find that I have been freezing the entire chain of chakras since I was a child. Something about the way I used the energy from this chakra allowed me to really solidify my system crystallizing it somehow. My guess is I was just so psychically sensitive that I tried to shut it down as a child. (This also ties into something I'm studying now in John van Auken's book on the Kabbalah and he mentioned in his Revelation book I quoted in the previous blog. We crystallize our system, solidifying our thoughts, which is what anchors us to this reality). At the third house, root chakra, I find my inner child with a black dog protecting it in a baby fence. I also find my Grandma Emma in the house. I'm not sure about the symbolism of the four sleeping relatives. The root chakra is where the Kundalini usually sleeps in the body (also mentioned in the Hindu and Egyptian parables of where the spirit or housewife is sleeping). Again, this is another clue that this house represents a mental or dream representation of the root chakra. Dream Two: Sacral Chakra 3-13-17 I was in the mountains with my parents. Here it was desert and there were golden brown rocks marked with the red of iron much like the mining area near Barstow. I knew it was a little bit North of Grandma Emma's house (Root Chakra). An old couple friends of my parents had passed away. They had been living on this campground at the base of a hill. In my dream, I was shown and image of the past where they were living on two motor homes on the property. The motor homes were now gone. Dad was finishing the task of taking care of the old stuff by putting them into two different enclosures. There were two areas of belongings. He was wrapping blue cardboard around them saying, "The winds get very high here and I don't want stuff to be blown away." There was a little boy and his family at the location. There was a pathway up a hill (we were in the mountains). I wanted to hike up it, I knew that I had done so before, but there was no time on this trip. The little boy of the family that was camping there wanted to know if "the lamb was up there." Apparently, there were Shepard's in this area and sometimes they brought their flock to this desert hill. Interpretation I know this is the Chakra that I used to really solidify my experience in this reality. The two motor homes and the two storage sheds might represent my ovaries which are associated with this chakra. The blue cardboard being wrapped around them represents these being protected and spiritualized. The mount with the lamb on it definitely invokes the idea of Christ. The fact that this location was a little bit North of Grandma Emma's house suggest it was the Sacral Charka. In John Van Auken's book on the Kabalah there is an old gnostic drawing. In it the lamb is represented by 888 and it's among the three upper chakras. Dream Three Solar Chakra 3-4-17 I was sitting in the back seat of the car from a friend from High School. I associate being humbled and reconciliation with her. I wasn't happy to be there and she blinked at me in surprise saying it was the agreed upon time to meet up. We drove for a while and picked up a professor along with his adult daughter from the university. He wanted to see wherever we were going as well. As we drove my friend talked about the Daffy Duck cookies she had made and I remembered seeing it on FB in the dream (no such thing actually happened in real life). I asked for one of the Daffy Duck cookies and she gave it to me. We drove to a stadium. We weren't really supposed to be there yet. There was an animal in the center of the stadium like a lion but it didn't have a mane so it must have been female. The lion was going to attack a guy. I jumped down to the bottom area of the arena like a super hero. I confronted the animal. The animal backed off retreating back into the center of the coliseum. I looked up and saw my sister-in-law, her best friend and brother-in-law in a balcony cheering me on. I was puzzled by their appearance. After the animal had retreated back through a gate in the stadium I gave a glass of water to the guy that it was going to attack. When he didn't say thank you I told him, "Normal people say thank you." Interpretation This is an interesting one. The lion does seem to be associated with the third Charkra. Most notably in the Revelation. The professor and his daughter my represent my research and the knowledge that it has created within me. The idea of reconciliation and being humbled represented by my friend suggests the intital dreams that I had about the beast wherein I knew that there was supposed to be a reintegration and transformation but it was going to take time to occur. I guess I was confronting my own inner Beast in this one at this chakra. The fact it was like a Roman Coliseum is really interesting and again makes me think of Christianity. The male in the dream that I saved from the lion could be my Animus (male aspect). When I gave him a glass of water it represents purification. Conclusion There really isn't much about people working with their lower chakras or the imagery of a beast. The little bit of validation I have found has been in the Edgar Cacye books that John Van Auken has written. This doesn't surprise me too much. A lot of this type of thinking has been submerged and stamped out for so long by those who would call themselves authorities. I believe that this represents some sort of spiritual passage. To what I am not sure...although, it has really increased the peacefulness I experience and I feel a core of confidence I've never had before growing as well as my compassion. Curiously, through this time period there was another thread of dreams. That of books or records being turned to ash. Those dreams occurred on 2/23/17, 3/5/17, 3/6/17, 3/10/1. There might be more but it's an odd recurring theme of books and files turning into ash. I would hazard a guess that somehow whatever records of my misdeeds throughout my past lives have been destroyed. All of those records are simply wiped clean and whatever karma I had incurred from them are no longer an influence on this life. That is all that I wanted to share to demonstrate how often the inner reflects the outer and vice a versa. I have no way to map this state of being out. I see no similarity of what I am experiencing with any mystics of the past. Therefore, I have no frame of reference nor knowledge of what purpose all of this might be serving. In fact, it seems that I have descended through my chakras instead of ascending. Again, there is no reference of this occurring in any mystical literature I've uncovered. I doubt I am a singular case of this occurring. On a side note, watching a Rosicrucian video and the reading the book on the Kabbalah I realized the symbolism involved in Beauty and the Beast. I will go into detail here but it appears....the Kabbalah tree of life which is also a representation of the chakra system (surprise surprise!) Beauty is the Sacral Chakra when being worked in the positive...the Beast is obviously when in the negative. The Rose represents the many lives that we live...so, prior to the last petal falling (our last mortal life) we must turn the beast into beauty within ourselves.
The Beast Final Thoughts
This blog is going to go deep fast so put on a pair of diving goggles! When someone says the word, "Beast," I'm sure it invokes fear in most. I really hope I didn't frighten anyone with this line of thinking and pointing out the coincidence in the movies this year. If anything this journey of exploring this topic has prompted me to let loose a lot of fear. Looking at the Book of Revelations and instead of seeing a Doomsday Prophecy seeing a book of Spiritual Transformation let's go of a lot of scary programming that's jammed into us from the time we are young. Further, understanding that giving into our inner beast is what keeps us in life and birth cycle is a fundamental concept I never grasped. I included Disturb's Immortalize as an example. Written, probably, for soldiers it invokes the beast. The inner beast is at it's peak when at war. There primal dominance is what really reigns...but if you investigate the history of war it is unnatural to human beings. In World War one many soldiers shot above the heads of their enemies. We naturally don't want to kill each other and have to 'unleash' the beast in order to do so...in some vain attempt to make a lasting impression on this impermanent physical realm. The Kingdom Of God The idea that the Kingdom of God is something that can exist right now on our planet within us is exciting to me. I absolutely adore this concept, foreign as it is to the apocalyptic version of Christianity of common society. Yet, it's right there in the writing of the bible hidden under layers of dogma educated minds. Through working my spiritual path I have come to a place of extreme peace. To me, as I explained in the story of the soul, we left the presence of Source and came to Earth. By a misuse of our willpower we ended up here and now we are working to purify ourselves, after gaining our individuality, to return home...to unity. Being a people watcher and interacting with people every day I can say for certain most people seem to be in a state of disharmony within themselves. Healing that is something that never occurs to most people as they seek to change their outer circumstances to suit their idea of what they want...often on a completely subconscious level. Satan's Dwelling - Solar Plexus- Source of Willpower I have to admit that actually sitting down and comparing the different sources for the Chakra's I was really amazed by this epiphany. Yet, it makes absolute sense. John Van Auken describes this as the most dangerous and powerful chakra To recap, this is the center where according to Brenda Davies we form our opinions and will power. Maslow identifies this as the level where Belonging is formed. How many people have done horrible things simply seeking to belong to a group? How many have beat themselves up mentally or even physically killed themselves because they didn't belong to any particular group? The misuse of willpower, working against the Natural Order and flow of the cosmos, is what really causes us to stumble in a spiritual journey. The misuse of willpower is certainly doing 'Satan's work.' (Of course, I believe Satan is allegorical in that we can all be Satan or the Archangel Michael at certain points in our lives). I see this all of the time! When a complete stranger comes up to me and tries to force me to do their will...making me jump through hoops to 'make them happy' for practically nothing in return...that is a misuse of willpower. When someone hears what I'm going through and tells me how to 'fix' it because that's how they would do it...that's a misuse of willpower. When anyone forces their will on another person, whether it's cutting them off in traffic or in line at the cinema...that me-first attitude is a misuse of willpower. Even more surprising is that this is the level where the Bull's Head shows up in the Seven Houses of the Egyptian Book of the Dead. I found this a startling coincidence given that the imagery of the beast is usually portrayed as having Bull like horns. The Fourth Chakra - Measurement There was also a theme with the Fourth Chakra regarding measurement. In the Egyptian story the cubit came up as a meaning regarding the head of a man and a lion. The heart certainly does seem to be where we weigh our own worthiness. The image of the Judgement of Osiris comes into mind. In The Egyptian Book of the Dead (Coming Forth By Day) the heart is weighed against a feather. If the heart is heavy it is found unworthy. Nothing makes a heart heavier then grief and guilt in my own experience. How does one create a heart lighter than a feather? In my experience, it takes a little bit of work. Every day is an opportunity to show as much love as you can towards your fellow human beings. I have come to believe that each person is a reflection of an aspect of God/Source/All-That-Is. To reject any of our fellow human beings is to reject God himself. At the same time, we can practice discernment where we may judge a person's action's (while refraining from judging the person). I will be covering that topic in a blog in the march of April. For me, everything changed when I decided to be the difference. Doing the right thing requires discernment because what we have been taught as 'the right action' is not always the case. Yet, when we acknowledge other peoples suffering and act if possible...the smallest action can lead to a major life change in another person's life. I can say that I use very moment to the very best of my ability to Honor God/Source/All-That-Is. I help people in whatever way that I can in a deep desire to honor the Natural Order God/Source/All-That-Is has created. I've been rejected, but I have found ways to win over those who've rejected me. Love is a powerful thing and I love even those who would reject me. I see rejection and hatred as calls for helps...because inevitably those people within themselves hate or reject themselves. That is simply how the reflection (called projection) in life works. Once I cleared up my own baggage, I could really see other people's baggage indicated by their actions. That is how my heart has become as light as a feather. As Within, So Without As I will be showing in my next post "Chakra Dreams" I have personally been working on these three lower chakras. In my dreams I have seen them symbolized as physical places. Now, I really can't explain these dreams or what prompted them from stuff that occurs in the real world. When I had them and woke up I recorded them. While in the dreams I am a lucid (somewhat conscoius) dreamer but I had no idea what they symbolized. I just acted out my role. However, when I woke I was able to interpret them and was blown away. I've never heard of anyone visiting their chakras in dreams. Naturally, the way we interpret what occurs in the outer world is based on what is going on in the inner world. This has been occurring so much in the last three years it is normal. Some theme takes precedence and then I see it everywhere. If you go to a CVS pharmacy and you're in a little bit of a weird mode...there is nothing but hearts. That's because the CVS brand has angular hearts on them no matter what the product. Last year, I saw the theme of division in the movies being released. With the presidential election people said we were a nation more divided then ever before...yet, that division seems to occur even in Europe. I guess it could very well be a world wide phenomenon. This year, it is the symbol of the Beast. Yet, the beast is merely a projection...it is all of our worst fears culminated and looking back at us in the mirror. For me personally, facing the beast and 'overcoming it' is the culmination of my Higher Self and Lower Self being forged into one being. Yes, I believe there is naturally a division when we come into this life. I believe once we learn to subdue and satisfy our lower nature (inner child, base urges) we can activate those higher centers or chakras. Strangely, I see it all from the perspective one of my Mountain Top dreams it's not that I came here to teach other human beings how to do forge this union...but to go back to the Spiritual Realm and say, "This is how I did it." If we somehow figure out on this end how it occurred that would be magical as well but I don't feel it's necessary. I share to help others but I do not claim this path is for anyone but myself or that any of it has the same meaning to them as it does to me. While most seem to start off with the lower chakras...my top three chakras were always open clear and activated. I seemed to go downward in activation instead of upward. I have not found this to be the case in any of my research for anyone else. I'm not sure how common this is...but I've always been able to tune into Oneness and it is not "Unity Mind" as some people would try to tell you. A Generalization That said, the Beast Theme could reflect something about society. I wasn't entirely wrong about Division being last years theme. What could the Beast represent this year? There is an undercurrent talking about the God Kek and the Pepe The Frog meme that might reflect this on some level. In it, there is a guy Jonathon Pageau who kind of nailed the phenomenon. What happened was that when looking through the thousands of Pepe memes people see what stands out to them...they see their own biases reflected back to them...and sense we are a fear based society they saw what they feared most...a hate symbol. If we are behaving as beasts we will encounter only worldly people. They will seem to block us but it is really our souls throwing out that stumbling block. This is the work of that Solar Plexus chakra. If we look at the collective society on Earth and we see a Beast with which we can not identify it's time to do some inner homework. If all of you can see is what you fear most...you are seeing a reflection of that which you have judged unworthy in yourself. Everyone is judgmental, be it racist, preferring one religion over another, preferring one nation over another and so on... on some level. Can't deny that one, it's easier to be around people that are in agreement with you. Of course, that is the wide path most people take. There is no problem being nice to someone that is in agreement with all of your beliefs and behaviors. We all know what it's like not to belong and we could all idenitify what was out of place if a punk rocker with a blue mohawk was pictured at an Opera. Withstanding dissonance or rejection is very hard and depending on the degree that a person has put their feet to the fire in that regard...the more of a division they will feel emotionally within themselves when around people who don't think exactly like them. The problem is the more you identify yourself with any one group or idea the more solid you become. The more pain you feel when other people disagree with that group or that idea. Compromise isn't an option because your very identity...your survival is wrapped up with the success of that idea in society. That is a very painful way to live. I guess, the real question is will society continue to misuse their will power? Will they continue to try to force people to bow down to the ideas they identify themselves with? All of these issues are really a tremendous reflection of whether or not the people in this world will give into the Beast or will they find their humanity through love? When you love someone you don't judge the person as unworthy because they made a mistake. Instead, you judge their actions as unworthy and that is a very important distinction. Conclusion I'm not sure what this year is going to entail really. Collectively, it seems that we are looking at our inner shadow. Most people, looking in their shadow, do not like what they see. They don't know how to change the reflection, however, and so they suffer. The most obvious answer is that we must change ourselves. For me, I'm not sure where this journey is taking me but right now, in this moment, I really like where I am. I feel more within my own power and at peace then ever before. I find inspiration in the smallest most mundane aspects of life every day. Finding peace, for me, was the whole purpose of my spiritual journey. Now, I'm patiently waiting for things to continue to unfold. As always, I will share this journey with all of you. If it reflects or resonates with what you are experiencing that is fantastic. If it doesn't, that's okay as well because that means the message wasn't for you. Everyone's path is unique which is why I continue to listen and enjoy learning about other people's journeys. Everything points to the fact that we are in exciting times. I, for one, am very grateful to be here. "He who makes a beast out of himself gets rid of the pain of being a man." The reason I chose this old Avenged Sevenfold video is because it captures the essence of what I'm talking about. Most people give into their 'lower natures' and their addictions because of the pain that being human naturally brings. A lot of people operate on survival mode throughout their life just trying to obtain the basic necessities of life...or things they think are necessary to be happy. Marketing firms don't help in this because they literally try to sell everything as though it's a need and not a want. You need the latest I-Phone to be a happy little human. Yet, what my research into spirituality has taught me is that the vacuum, the pain, that people are feeling comes from the perceived perception of being separate from Source/God. If we are never alone on the other side, if we are part of a collective sharing our thoughts, the pain of being separate is immense and totally foreign. Hence, why people would go to such extremes to try to feel fulfilled...through relationships, drugs or any other means possible. We have to meet the needs of our animal aspect before we can work on any spiritual Journey. This has been expressed in many ways through many traditions for many centuries. People will talk about killing the ego but that's not what I'm talking about here and I think that's a huge horrible misconception. This is a journey into looking how this information has been encoded in many traditions. Many seers and philosophical thinkers have seen the same idea but expressed it in many different ways. Though the symbols may be different and the way they came to the conclusion are their own unique paths if looked at from a wider perspective they are all telling the same story. Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs We're going to start off with Psychology. Robert Maslow was born in 1908 and died in 1970. He was among the pioneers of psychology and what he is best known for is his Hierarchy of Needs which continues to be a foundation topic in any psychology class. I remember when i first read about it when earning my Bachelor's In Psychology and being blown away. Maslow used a pyramid to represent the hierarchy of needs.
Interestingly, the lower four levels of Maslow's Hierarchy of needs are what are represented in the Chakra system. Maslow believed that only when the four lower levels physiological, safety, love-belonging, and esteem are met that a person can be self-actualized.
Maslow estimated that only 2% of the people on the planet are self-actualized. What that means is that their basic needs...those associated with the four lower steps on his pyramid...are met. He defined a person that is self-actualized as someone who can fulfill their potential. As long as a person is trying to fulfill their basic needs from the four lower steps of they pyramid they will never reach self actualization and fulfill their potential as human beings. When these needs go unmet the person is no better than the beasts in the field. The thing is that no one can provide all of these needs to another human being. This is something a person has to do for themselves. Esteem, especially, is a way of thinking and a state of mind. Schools have tried to teach esteem but that is not something that can be provided from the outside but healed from the inside. The Four Lower Chakra's I'm going to provide the basic information of the four lower chakra's. We will look at the upper three chakras (throat, third eye and crown) in a later blog post. For now, the important part is learning to work with or subdue the lower four chakras.
Lets look at these lower four Chakras and their purpose according to Brenda Davies who wrote the book The 7 Healing Chakras: Unlocking your Bodys Energy Centers found on pg 49:
"Chakra 1: Base or Root Chakra (Physiological level Maslow's Hierarchy) This chakra is situated at the base of the spine, between the coccyx and the pelvic bone and it's color is red. Its main function is to keep us grounded in the physical world and to keep us alive. It's associated with physical sensation. The first layer of the Aura is similarly associated with the physical." This is also where the Kundalini energy is said to pool or 'sleep' when it is not being raised through the chakras. The Kundalini is most often depicted as a serpent. Chakra 2: Sacra Chakra (Safety in Maslows Hierarchy) This chakra is to be found in the midline below the navel. It's color is orange and it's main function is related to the reproduction and the giving and receiving of sexual pleasure. The second layer of the aura is similarly associated with the emotional." Chakra 3: Solar Plexus Chakra (Love/Belonging in Maslows Hierarchy) The solar plexus is situated either in the midline or slightly to the left above the stomach. Its color is yellow. This is the site where we form Opinion. Here is the center of potency, power and will. The third layer of the aura is associated with mental functions." Chakra 4: Heart Chakra (Esteem in Maslows Hierarchy) This is sometimes referred to as a transitional chakra since the lower three are concerned with the physical and emotional and now begin to move toward the spiritual. The heart bridges the two realms and is the center for human love. It's also a center for feeling and its color is emerald green. Its layer is the astral plane." As you can see, this is a reflection of the system that came before but there is more! The Egyptian Tale of the Seven Houses in the Other World First let me explain one common misunderstanding of the Egyptian Book of the Dead as John Van Auken explains. The book is not really about rites for the dead. The book is for the Living Dead. The book is really about awakening to a higher level of Spirit within the flesh. Those who are not spiritually awakened are the Living Dead. The true translation is, "Coming Forth By Day." Sadly, in the early 1900's when the West discovered and searched Egypt for her mysteries we applied our Dark Age thinking to the symbols and items we found misconstruing what it actually represented. With that in mind let's continue... This comes directly from Laird Scranton's book titled The Mystery of Skara Brae (Scranont, 2016). Clearly you can see with the number seven that it align's easily with the chakras system. Laird Scranton ties it in with Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs. As far as I know, Scranton never connected these with chakra's. This take on it is entirely not mine and not representative of the cosmology Laird Scranton has uncovered. We're going to only focus on the first four houses as that's the focus in this blog. In The Mystery of Skara Brae Laird states that the tale of the Seven Houses comes from the Egyptian Book of the Dead (more accurately translated as Coming Forth by Day). Laird also ties these in with the seven wrapped-up dimensions of the Dogon Egg of the World but I won't quite explore the depth of that in this blog. In each of these houses the main character, Ani declares, "Let the spirit of an old man pass!" House One: (Root Chakra) Three God's just inside the doorway are dreaming. The first god is the watchman, the second is a doorkeeper and the third is a herald. One has the head of the crocodile, the second an ear of corn and the third stood as straight as a pillar of stone. Laird goes into an in depth analysis...but strictly speak if I was interperting this as a dream the needs of the predatory animal and the need for food would be obvious. Laird states that the pillar stands for the notion of "coming into being' regarding his cosmology (literally the creation of the cosmos) but it is possible this can also be the coming into being of the self-actualized person. If anything, these old Mystery Schools or the Egyptian House of Life at least three layers of meaning to all of their stories: the universal, the earthly and the individual. House Two: (Sacral Chakra) In this house, Ani encounters three gods that are conspiring. Here Ani reminisces about being young, eating and making love. The Spirit says a few things here but ends, "I am heavy as a stone, not easily blown by the breezes, but I sail when I must and strike a blow to untruth." House Three: Here the three Gods are dancing. Two of the God's have Jackal snouts and Laird relates this to mean "he who is at the head." The third god is spinning around a stalk of corn. A common theme that Laird lays out is that of a bull and the word meskh-t which is a constellation of a Bulls Head. House Four: At the fourth house the three gods are shimmering at the doorway. One God has the face of a man and another has a face of a lion. He relates that both the hieroglyphic word for man and lion are rem which refers to the cubit or measurement. Here Laird identifies both the attributes and light. The spirit calls himself, "A scribe faithful to the language of the heart." He also states, "I am a man born under fortunate stars into the hands of the gods and goddesses. I have cut loose my body, I have risen up and walked about heaven." The Hindu Parable of the Seven Houses Again, from Laird Scranton's Mystery of Skara Brae. Laird believes that the female goddesses predate the male. In this one, we find instead of a male spirit the the Goddess Devi visiting the seven houses. The First House: (Root) Here the housewife that Devi visits is sleeping. "The act of waking up is equated with the initial stirrings of creation after matter in it's wavelike matter is perceived," Laird Scranton (2016). The Second House: (Sacral) Here Devi finds the housewife eating. Here Laird equates the world eating with the God Amma and explaines that god's name reads, "That which gives knowledge." The Third House: (Solar) In the third house Devi finds the housewife cutting her nails. Here Laird says the Egyptian word for to cut nails is Sesh which is similar to the name Seshat. Seshat was the scribe wife of Horus. Symbolically, Laird explains, the name Seshat is, "The work of the island field is given." He relates this to instruction of agriculture being given at Skara Brae. However, on a more personal level this might be where the work we have done spiritually is reconciled. The Fourth House: (Heart) Devi finds the housewife fighting. The word fight, laird explains, is associated with the Egyptian word for Elephants. Ganesha, Laird explains, is an elephantine symbol in Hindu, is the Gatekeeper of the seven bundles of the dimensions. The Four Chakras In Revelation All of this is from the current book I just finished reading. Edgar Cacye on the Revelation: A Study Guide for Spiritualizing Body and Mind by John Van Auken (2000). I'm just going to include excerpts here (I highly recommend the book, I will admit these are very small snippets). Here in this vision we have messages given to the first four churches (which can also be translated as 'assemblies') that represent the seven chakras or 'spiritual centers.' These are John Van Auken's expansion and explanation of these messages. The Church of Epheseus: (Root Chakra- Beast: Calf) pg 44 "Despite all appearances to the contrary, we are celestial, spiritual beings first. We descended from heaven into matter and this world. These outer influences have taken hold of us. They possess us. We feel completely terrestrial and physical, subjects of this world. This first chakra reflects that loss. It must reverse its focus from worldly realities to include only spiritual realities, remembering that it originally loved the spiritual things and God, who is spirit. The Church of Smyrna: Second Center (Sacral Chakra- Beast: Like a Man) pg 45 "The spirit warned that this center lets fear take hold of it and it must let go of fear. The spirit promised that if this center stops being afraid and doubting the truth, it will not suffer the 'second death.' Cacye said that the second death is when those who have gained understanding again fall away into self-exaltation, accentuating the ego rather than the soul-self, and suffer the death of truth. Cacye explained it this way: "For there is set before thee good and evil, life and death; choose thou. For the spirit of truth maketh alive. Fear, doubt, condemnation, bringeth doubt, illness, fear, and then dissolution (disillusion?); and the hill to be climbed again." (1261-1). The Church of Pergamos: (Solar Plexus- Beast: Lion) pg 46 Note that this is where it said, "Satan dwells." Revelation 2:13 "As the spirit approached this third center, it described itself as as the one with the two edged sword...thus this is the center that is a most dangerous and potentially powerful chakra, given the energy of the solar plexus and adrenal glands "fight or flight" hormones....The spirit said that, uncontrolled, this center throws "stumbling block(s)" in the way of our spiritual efforts. It must stop. If it does, then the spirit promised that it would "eat of the hidden manna" and "receive a new name. (Revelation 2:14-17)... Cacye said that "my name" in verse 13 refers to our eternal name that uniquely identifies each of us from among the rest of creation...John received his name written upon a white stone, indicating it would endure....The manna referred to this centers desire for physical gratification, often symbolized by bread; yet, as Jesus so wonderfully put it, we do not live by bread alone, but by every word that comes out of the mouth of God (Matthew 4:4). These words from God's mouth, Cacye said, are the hidden manna." The Church of Thyatira: Fourth Center (Heart Chakra- Eagle) pg 47 "Next the spirit moved to the fourth center, identifying itself as the Son of God, with eyes like fire and feet like brass. In other words, it had the vision of the spirit and the understanding that comes only from being tested in the furnace of life. It acknowledged that the heart chakra has charity, faith, patience, service and works, with the most recent works being greater than the first works. There is also one major issue with this center: It lives life without love for spirit, seeking only gratification and pleasure. This is represented by the false Prophet Jezebel, whose motto was, "Get all you want no matter how you obtain it." "The spirit went on to promise that, if this spiritual center changed, then spirit would "give him the morning star." (Revelation 2:28). The morning star is any bright planet seen in the eastern horizon before sunrise. Venus is the most brilliant planet in our solar system and often appears as the morning star. In astrological traditions, Venus represents love, harmony and beauty...Cacye identified Venus with the heart chakra." The Four Beasts pg 50-52 "...Before the throne were the four beasts we first saw in Ezekiel's and then in Daniel's visions, and now, here again, in John's vision (Reveliation 4:4-5)...We find these same beasts represented in ancient Egyptian mysticism as the four children of Horus... According to Cacye, these beasts are "the four destructive influences that make the greater desire for the carnal forces that rise as the beasts within self to destroy." (281-16) We have learned what these destructive influences are from the spirits comments to the first four churches: (1) Leaving our first love, (2) fear, (3) anger, impulsive reactions, and spirit-killing urges; and (4) living life without spiritual purposes and ideals. All of these destructive influences were personified in Cain. Though he first sought God's love, he later didn't desire it. He killed his brother impulsively in anger and spitefulness, only to the then become so afraid that he could not go on without God's promise of protection...Cacye said that these destructive influences must be met (281-16), as God said to Cain, "Sin is crouching at the door, its desire is for you, but you must master it." (Genesis 4:7). As the revelation continued, the four lower glands were raised to higher vibrations, turning away from material, earthly pursuits and contributing to the spiritulization of the body: "the four beasts gave glory and honor and thanks to him who sits on the throne" (Revelation 4:9). When they did this, it affected the cranial nerves ("the twenty four elders will fall down before him who sits on the throne"), and they, in turn, began to contribute to the spiritualization of the body (281-29). The only part of us that is truly worthy to do this is the part that has crucified self-centered desire sufficiently to allow God's will to fully enter." Before I continue I just want to point out after reading the Book of Revelations there is an interesting phrase, "He who has an ear to hear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the assemblies. To him who overcomes, to him will I give of the hidden manna, and I will give him a white stone, and on the stone a new name written, which no one knows but he who receives it." (Revelation 2:17) Also, often times the beast seems to rise up out of the ocean (Revelation 13:1) which, in any dream, is the subconscious. As I explained in my Detachment post if the subconscious (through which the Spirit works) is ignored while we give into basic animal urges it just becomes bigger and louder...sometimes manifesting disease hoping it will wake us up to our more spiritual calling while int he flesh. This can cause an inner war like state as the person seeks material comforts for the pain of seperation from God instead of seeking the inner path of self-examination which is the only way we can really know God/Source (I'll explain this on my blog post on Multidimensional Oneness). Conclusion Phew! That was a lot of scholarly comparison. This was an exhausting post to write! I feel as though I've been translating a long lost language! I pray you see the connections as I do but it all depends on where you are on your own personal journey if you will see them or not. However, I think what you can see clearly illustrated here by the ancients throughout many traditions is that there is the need to pacify these lower centers. I know that John Van Auken says we must crucify our earthly desires but if that was the way then a lot more people would be taking that path. That's the path that is taught but seems to fail so many. I talked about this in my post on Detachment. If we go to any extreme than we become unbalanced and fall off the spiritual path. If we set out to destroy the ego, which is a formation of these four lower 'centers' then it will set out to preserve itself in whatever way that it can. The desire for self-preservation is just hard wired into material life. The ego thinks it is all that is, just as so many who believe in the mechanical universe don't believe Spirit exists in any form. Naturally, the beast will fight to preserve itself. Instead, it's important to find a way to do the inner personal work necessary to meet the needs of those four lower centers. Then we are not slaves to them and we don't neglect those needs. Once we have a balance going through those we can then start working on Self-Actualization. In Revelation, those centers are not just referred to as beasts. They are only beasts when we are asleep or 'as dead' and not consciously working with them. They are beasts when we are working from our earthly selfish desires and not the works of Spirit. On a side note, through my own research into the symbolism of Ancient Egypt I came to associate the Root Chakra, at the very least with the Symbol of the Snake. The first four Neters have snakes in their hieroglyphs (they each have more than one set of hieroglyphs associated with them I had to do a little digging to find the trend). Based on this I wonder if the symbols for the first four Neters ( Shu, Tefnut, Geb, and Nut) represent the lower four chakras in the Egyptian Symbols. The symbols progress until they show an egg, a chick and eventually a full grown bird in the hieroglyphs for Horus. I will delve into this when I go into the eight stages of creation according to the Dogon, the eight neters, and then relate them to the chakras. Either way, the idea in almost all spiritual forms I have studied is a progression where the Snake, symbolizing the lower earthly nature of the practitioner, either is given wings (Quetzalcoatl) or it becomes a bird (phoenix). The undeniable pattern within all of the traditions is that it is necessity to work through these four lower chakras to the three upper ones in order to 'transcend' the Earthly school of learning. Imagine my shock and surprise when I realized that I had been visiting these 'houses' much like the Spirit of Ani from the Egyptian Book of the Dead! Even more shocking to me is when I read in John Van Auken's book on the Revelation that all of the prophets had Mountain Top dreams...and if you've read my previous posts you know I've had them! Whoa! To have visions in common with prophets from the Bible! At the end of the day, though, I have to laugh at all of this...so beautiful, so simple and so overlooked. I love sharing my personal revelations with all of you and there is so much more to come! I've already written the blogs for April though I might not post them in the order I wrote them. (2000) The Seven Healing Chakra's. Ulysses Press. Berkeley Ca. In my last blog I covered the movies with a little girl and a beast. However, the second trailer for Transformers really gave me pause when I watched it today. To my amazement, it was narrated by a little girl. At one point the girl starts to walk towards some of the Decepticons and their leader telling them that she is not afraid of them. The leader of the Decepticons she approaches has horns reminiscent of a bull. I'm not sure if that's supposed to be Megatron, but if it is they definitely added the bull like horns for this movie which is beyond bizarre. As you can see in the picture I posted Megatron did not have the horns in the previous movies. Again, the image of a little girl standing up to a Beast...this time reminiscent of the bronze statue of the little girl facing the Stock Market Bull. I have no idea why this is manifesting in so many movies. I find it really fascinating! The Beast In My Dreams Every time I find a theme it really seems to be reflected in both my dreams and the waking world. Keep in mind, these dreams are from November of last year so I had them four months prior to realizing these movies have a similar theme. The last thing I would think of dreaming about would be a beast but the 'beast' in my dreams was never something scary. So, let me share the dreams with you and I'll go through the interpretations. There are only two I'm going to share. The third one I thought about sharing doesn't really fit the context. I will include in a fourth post two dreams that directly relate to my root and Sacral Chakras that I find fascinating but feel need to be covered after the third installment for this series of blogs. Dream One: The beast dream that really stood out to me was one that I had on November 12th 2017. This dream was very deep and the images have remain with me. In the dream I was at my Grandma Emma's house. I was watching the scene from the third person perspective...as though I were watching a movie. At the same time I knew that I was one of the little girls in the dream. There were a bunch of little kids, no more than eight, playing a game. Half of them were dressed up as Jedi and the other were dressed up as Sith from Star Wars. We were playing a game of war between good and evil. The little girl that was me was a Klingon from Star Trek. The little girl that was me left the rest of the game. She began to cry because she found it all very sad that all of the people were being mean to one another. Then the adult version of me, a character I know represents my Higher Self, appeared. She went to the little girl comforting her and embraced her. Immediately, I understood that on her level of existence good and evil did not exist. All was One and so, it really was just an act...a child's game that we were creating here on Earth. I had a feeling that the two- the Higher Self and the Lower 'beastly' self- were reintegrating into one...but a transformation that should have happened didn't take place...but was delayed. Yet, that dream completely and utterly changed how I look at 'good' and 'evil' in this world. Dream Two: I had this dream on November 21st 2016 Again, it was a dream from the third person perspective. There was an ecological disaster that happened because of a mining company. They have dug too deep into the earth and struck a stone that sounded like a bell causing the entire world to quake. I saw a young girl who could save the world. Time sped up, moved forward, and then moved backwards. My Aunt Donna and the people on television were saying it was Doomsday. The girl didn't know she can save the world. She took one of all the animals that were knocked unconscious by the bell like sound to a temple in Japan except one. She could not capture the wolf to protect it. There all of the animals turned into statues for protection. Years later, I go to the temple, now in the first person perspective, to find out what's happening. There I am greeted by an old lady and a young kid who are protecting the temple (this we will return to in my dream about the root chakra). The temple is now very ancient. I tell them I want to help. They tell me it will be a steep price to learn about the temple. I tell them I don't care. I go inside and the young girl looks at me intently. She hasn't aged a day. I ask her what animal is missing. She tells me the wolf. I tell her I am the wolf, I have to eat the meat of animals in order to remain healthy but I am not happy about it. I agree to help her. That is the end of the dream. Interpretation: Dream One: The first dream I understood as my lower nature (lower four chakras) and my Higher Self (said to reside in the upper three chakras) interacting. Good and evil, duality, is just a game that was being a played on Earth but wasn't 'real.' There is no truly good or truly evil because we are all One. The part of me that was experiencing life on Earth experiencing the 'dark and light' was a Klingon from Start Trek. I see those as character's that are very animal like. They are the perfect representation of the "beast." Dream Two: The second dream is a bit more personal. The company that mined too deeply and rang the planet like a bell is probably what happened in my last job. What happened there, which lead to everything that happened with Lilith-Ann, completely shook up my world. I'm not sure about the animals turning into statues. Perhaps, the animal part of me became very stony...or very unemotional as a result of the tragedy I experienced. I'm not really sure. The part where I say I am a wolf. That's claiming my animal side, claiming the part of nature that I think is the most cruel...where we eat other animals. There is a sense of being at peace with myself as an animal and a predator to boot. Funnily, the part of me that is aware in every dream was startled and a bit shocked when I stated that I was the wolf. I woke up feeling very off kilter from the dream. Conclusion As I've stated before it's really important to own our animal aspects. There is nothing wrong with the fact that our bodies are made as they are and require specific nutrients. Nor is it terrible that we have animal like tendencies. Many people following spiritual paths try to repress or deny their animal nature. Yet, we were made this way for a reason. Just like all animals we were created with the urge to protect ourselves, eat and procreate. A lot of people forget that is part of our nature. A lot of people try to subvert that part of themselves or try to repress the animal tendencies. That's just not natural, but I covered that in my Detachment blog. There is a balance and a relationship between our two aspects- the Animal (body) and the Spirit. As long as those are not working with one another we are warring with ourselves. As Jesus said you can't serve two masters...the lower beastly self is worried mostly with survival and money. As long as that's our focus we won't be able to work within the realm of the Higher Self. In my next blog, we'll examine the perspective of the four lower chakras/energy centers, their relationship to Maslow's Hierarchy of needs and the way they appear in multiple religions. Entertainingly writing this blog made me think of the following clip from Jurassic Park. Clair has become so indoctrinated into the way we are told we are so supposed to behave she is completely out of touch with the 'animal' part of herself. In being put into a traumatic situation she finds the part of her that makes her a caring human being...by letting go of her need to control everything (after all, that's kind of God's job...micromanaging God is a bit tiresome because it's so much easier just to learn how to swim in the flow).

Can you see a theme in the above trailers?
Three movies where the Beast is the central character. Yes, you could make the argument that Wolverine is not a 'beast' (as there is another character with that name), Yet, in the prior X-Men movie he was referred to as "some type of animal," by Jean and as you can see a fan made video using Three Days Grace song titled Animal I've Become suggests most fans understand the reference. What is the chance that three movies coming out within the span of a month would be about the choice to be a "human" or a "beast"? Given the price of these films...it's a very rare synchronicity. The last two weekends I saw Logan and Split. Both are very gritty films and neither of them uplifting. I walked out of the theater a little stunned. To sum up Logan without any spoilers would be a man who has acted and been treated as a beast throughout his life finding his humanity. For Split it would be a man losing his humanity and giving into the "beast" within. Then, obviously you have Beauty and the Beast where the Beast finds his humanity again by falling in love with Belle. I'm sure by now you are wondering where I'm going with all of this...what could this mean? For me, there is a very personal meaning. You see, for a few months now, the Beast has been in my dreams. Strangely, this ties into the current book I'm reading called Edgar Cacye on Revelation by John Van Auken and the Hopi tradition that we are in the fourth world of 'the animal.' The Beast in My Dreams I was going to list the three dreams, describe them and then interpret them. Yet, this post became incredibly long. I had to break the post up into three parts. This first one, the second one that will be on the the Dreams I've had regarding this topic and finally one about the the four lower chakras tying them to they psychologist Abraham Maslow. I have had three dreams that involved the 'beast.' In those dreams I became aware of a lot of information. That's one of the reasons I was drawn to the movie Split by M. Night Shyamalan. I was curious what it could possibly have to do with the Beast and I was blown away by the synchronicity. In one dream, the beast represented my lower earthly self while my Higher Self (appearing in an archetype form of one of my favorite characters) embraced it in consolation. In another, more abstract dream, I named myself the wolf. The first two dreams occurred in November. This before I even bought John Van Auken's Edgar Cacye on Revelation A Study Guide For Spiritualizing body and Mind. I was really shocked when that book validated my dream that 'the beast' is related to the lower chakras. Chakras I was going to go into depth here about how the lower four chakra's represent the beast. However, that turned into such a long section that I've decided to make that the third entry in this series of blogs. In that post I will list several sources that reflect the idea that the lower four chakras represent 'the beast' or our 'Earthly self.' Most people operate only with the four lower chakras. The chakras are symbolically referenced as a beast at least twice in Revelations. The first time are the Four Beasts before the throne of God. The second time is the Beast with Seven Horns. Here is one pertinent section from Edgar Cacye on the Revelation: A Study Guide For Spiritualizing Body and Mind pg 51 section entitled Two Beasts Revelation 13: "We should begin this next phase of the enlightenment process, said Cacye, by visualizing fear, in the form of a beast, like the leopard with seven heads and ten horns (281-34). By our seeking understanding, we have also aroused influences that bring fear. The leopards seven heads symbolize the vices of the seven spiritual centers (chakras) within us, and these cause us to see aspects of ourselves that we fear. The fear takes ten different forms, as the ten horns on each of the seven heads of the leopard indicate. The leopard rose out of the sea symbolic of the depths of emotion and unseen influences that normally lie below the surface of consciousness." The Seven Vices of the Seven Centers are probably the Seven Deadly Sins which have been connected to the chakra's. Again, I will go into all of this in the next blog. Back to today's topic where as I said there seems to be a theme of this subject in the month of March. The Hopi Age of The Animal Ages, in the most expanded spiritual sense are not that important. Yet, we are standing at the end of one Age and the start of another according to many traditions as I have covered previously. Whether it's the ending of the Age of Aquarius or the Kali Yuga...a cycle of time in the universe has come to an end. The Hopi believe that we are currently in the age of the Animal. In this age, we have been learning what it is like to be an animal. We, within the human race, have arranged ourselves into predator and prey. Sometimes this is expressed through war against one another...sometimes this is how businesses in the corporate world operates. In business it's survival of the fittest and anyone who is weak is trod underfoot with nary a glance. The Hopi say in the next World, The World of the Human, we will learn what it truly means to be human. Clearly, to do that, we must activate the higher chakras. In my experience the Lower Earthly self and the Higher Self must be synchronized and we must let go of our fear in order to make peace with our animal nature. Here is an article on the topic of the different worlds of the Hopi: https://www.bibliotecapleyades.net/esp_orionzone_6a.htm To my amazement I found an apparent reference to the Hopi Four Worlds of spirit, mineral, plant, and finally the fourth of the animal. There are other similarities to the story the Hopi tell of the souls but here is what stopped in my tracks this is from Edgar Cacye on the Revelation By John Van Auken page 224 from reading 281-54: "Q: God made the mineral, vegetable and animal kingdoms, then out of these He made man and breathed into him the breath of life. Adam, who at that period was devoid of any of the spiritualized cells of the physical body, hand a stronger urge to revert to physical desires. "A: Yes and no. Consider that, whether it is mineral, vegetable or animal, these are spiritualized in that ability of using, doing, being all that the Creator had given them to do. Hence man was given that which is not a part of mineral, vegetable or animal kingdoms; though may, by man is considered of the animal kingdom. Will- with the environmental forces and the spiritual negative in the serpent- acceded to the desire, to become and to experience IN that kingdom of influence. This brought the acceptance, by mans own will." Girl Versus The Bull Here is an image that really moved me and is absolutely synchronistic. On March 8th this bronze statute was placed opposite of the Wall Street Stock Market Bull.
The above photo is from a yahoo article.
A group of feminists fighting for equality within the ranks of corporate executive boards placed this image of a young girl standing before the bull. Why they chose not to place a grown woman I don't understand as they are fighting for adult women's fights and not the rights of little girls (although, you could say they are fighting for the future of those girls). Here is an article on this subject: https://uk.news.yahoo.com/statue-little-girl-facing-wall-144702602.html The bull is the image Disney went with for their beast. In all three Beast movies there is a young girl. In Logan it is the little girl that is his clone. In Split it's the teenage girl that is abducted with the other two and we see images of her in flashbacks as a child. Of course, in Beauty and the Beast it is young Belle who is supposed to be 17. Now, what does this imply? Often the male aspect is considered to be of the Earth. The Feminine is of Spirit. Some might say it is the return of the Goddess to slay the Beast. Yet, as I explained in my last post on Detachment the last thing you want to do is slay the animal. Self-preservation kicks in and it causes all sorts of issues...there is no way to kill or banish the ego. You have to learn how to work with the animal within and in a sense tame or befriend that animal. There are some philosophical musing I may share on this part, thoughts I had when first reading Journey of Souls By Michael Newton, but I'm trying to keep it simple in this post. Let's look at Beauty and the Beast since it's the same story as the one that came out in the nineties. In that movie, Belle has to reach out to the Beast and bring out the part of him that is capable of love. Only when he can feel loved as a beast does he truly become human. The only way to heal our demons is to embrace them and love them. They are disowned aspects of ourselves that need to be healed. I know that's hard. We are taught to fight, destroy or slay them. Believe me, that part of my journey was tough but it can be done through love and forgiveness of self or others. You can forgive the person and still condemn their actions. I won't even go into how I think Wall Street and the Stock Market are Bull Crap that leads to all sorts of suffering in this country. I've written about that before and you can go searching through the archives for that topic. Therefore, this symbol really raises my spirit...as far as omens go I think it's astoundingly beautiful. Conclusion I am not looking to project my inner conditions on the outside world. I am not saying that your reality is reflecting mine. I am simply noting in this blog the odd coincidences that I have noticed in popular media and my personal spiritual path. There are other movies that have come out but the odds that three movies would come out within a month feature a beast is amazing. Upon meditating upon this the other night and contemplating my blog about the Chakra's..I had a strange revelation in my sleep. In May King Arthur: Legend of the Sword is coming out. I realized, through the research I have done that both the anvil and the water in the Tale of King Arthur Symbolize the lower chakras. King Arthur may be a parable or an allegory about the spiritual transformation of 'pulling the sword from the stone' and ruling the 'kingdom' within...the same story told in Revelation but just in another way. I will explain that in a blog soon to follow the ones I'm writing on the beast. Once it clicked, the myth makes absolute sense. I will also note that the Beast plays a role in Thor: Ragnarok. In that movie Thor and the Hulk (which is an animal born from anger which is a lower root chakra issue) team up. I have no idea what that movie is going to entail as the trailer has not been released. I had no idea that this theme ran through the movies I outlined that I wanted to see back in January. Split wasn't even on my radar. I'm always amazed by the things that come into perception and how shocking they are when they do. If you choose to believe there is a Source/God it is very possible that it could program our very lives to be a living allegory or fairy tale...hence, why much of the bible can be both allegory and factual. Well, I hope you've enjoyed the first blog post in this series. The next one is going to be a bit interesting and I hope you don't mind me sharing my dreams...and I'm really excited about the chakra post regarding the four lower ones as it's been something I've been meaning to post for some time. I have so many great posts that I have already written intend to share but as this seemed the most timely I felt that it took priority. |
