There has been a major synchronicity that has occured recently that I can't really ignore. I have blogs scheduled through April of next year so I'm just going to do a quick bonus blog to cover this subject.
I really felt the need to let you know if you're going through this transition...it's not just you. Also, I want to share with you HOPE because if I can handle all the chaos I'm about to describe to you...then you can too! We just need to put all of this Letting Go into the right perspective. Hope is so important and humanity in the last twenty years or so had lost HOPE to the point where people had given up. I think that had a lot to do with the stillbirth of the New Age movement...people got excited about it during the 90's and then dropped it like a rock...then they became excited about it around 2012 and when nothing happened...dropped it like a rock again. This is indicated by all of the Dystopian Future young adult novels and movies that have come out in the last decade. The risk of a Dystopian future was greatest back when the first nuclear bomb was dropped on Hiroshima. Struggling with that sort of destructive power did man kind give up Hope? No, they didn't. Hence, the incredible optimisim of the 1980's captured so well in the movie Tomorrow Land with George Cloony that completely flopped...why? Because optimisim is not something that this current generation has thanks to the bitterness the previous generations taught them (Boomers and Gen. Xers). The above picutre was shared by a friend on Facebook and I realized that the timing, as always, is perfect (as Francesca Simon says- Everything Is In Divine Order!). etting Go, has been the Great Synchronicity. So many people are making big life changing decisions this year...moving, changing jobs and having kids. For me it started at the end of June (as the blog published on Monday that I wrote in July discusses) and boy has it continued! We seem to be at the most conetrated point of this experience as we head into the final four 'ber' months of the year. The odds that the four videos at the end of this blog are all in accordance with the same essential message...well, let's just say it's low. This is a great example of a synchronicity and how, "If you have the ears to hear," you can hear messages of what's going on at the Group Soul (oversoul/logos) level of humanity and if you're in alignment with your Higher Self the essence of that experiene is probably manifesting in your own life because all of us are interconnected. As you correct the distoritions (Errors) within your psyche (persona/paradigm) your connection to the Oversoul becomes more pure allowing to tune into the pulse of society. I have let go of a lot of attachments since June. My dog Angel, a friend to whom I was very attached, my Ford Ranger which is the only thing I ever bought 100% for myself, my personal checking account, we're getting rid of a television stand we don't use...and I literally cleaned out my closet of all ofthe clothes I don't want (five bags worth) I've been carting around some ofthat clothes since the late 90's! My referigerator broke, my oven and even my carpet cleaner (a must with pets!). On top of that one of my cats decided to completely mark one of my favorite chairs...and there is no getting that smell out of it once it's covered (my husband hated that chair so I guess that's a bonus for him). Luckly, we could afford to replace most of these times (we're not replacing the chair) and we got the big ticket items on discount because of the Labor Day sales! Earlier in the year I let go of my relationship with my sister and with a best friend from High School. Those were both worn out relationships that needed to go...I had been trying to tug them along out of obligation and, perhaps, pride. I love all of the people I have let go of this year but it was time for them to go...I only desire to have positive uplifting people that I can connect with in my life...not drag along relationships with people who think I'm strage or a weirdo that needs to find 'other people like me' because I'm just on a different level of paradigm (or frequency if you want to use that term). Oh, and my husband is going through this too (obviously a good deal of my list affects him too) but in a very big way...he's changing jobs! Luckily, he ended up back at a job that he loves with better pay and better benefits then the company he's worked at for the last two years. Plus they are going to pay for him to go back to college online and earn his Bachelors Degree in Engineering! Not having his bachelor's degree in Engineering has been one of the major disappointments in his life so seeing him heal that is going to be tremendous. We will go on vacation next year because he'll have vacation weeks the first year! That is *SO* rare and I'm so happy he's going to be back with Banks Power. I *LOVE* that company. I will miss him working from home but he's going to be happy because being home can be so distracting and he couldn't handle being isolated in a room upstairs for eight hours. Not to mention I don't like having to tip toe around the house because he's always on the phone with customers or co-workers. Then there was the water heater that broke and flooded the garage. The result of that is my husband chose to get rid of a lot of the things that were in the garage that were broken but we had been holding onto in the hopes of fixing them or using them in the future. I have let go of so much at this point that I'm sure I'm missing a few things! Also, interestingly, this purging energy might have a lot to do with the Theme that Bashar has given for next year. Bashar has given 2018 the name, "Year of of Decision and Revelation." Those on the leading edge of the Group Oversoul usually experieance these in adavnce and this month is a great indicator of that! Not to mention next year we will probably find out who is running against Trump for president and if he'll seek a second term. Personally, if I was him, I wouldn't seek a second term so it wouldn't surprise me if he deicded that the best choice for him and his family would be to leave the presidential office. Interestingly, this letting go cycle appears to be affecting everyone right now- starting with the Full Moon of August 26th (this week) and continuing to the New Moon of September 9th. I really noticed this watching the vidoes of my faovrite people that I follow on YouTube. I've been following Victor Oddo for a couple of years now. I love watching his channel grow. I was amazed when he hit his first one thousand subscribers. Now he has over 140 thousand! I didn't even know there were so many Seekers or people who were Awakening! As always he's in tune with what's going on in my life...and it appears it's happening with a bunch of other people's lives! I love the title of this video...Victor always keeps things positive even during challenging times.
Molly McCord is someone that I recently discovered. Molly is straight and to the point when it comes to describing the astrological energies and she is extremely productive. I've checked out a few astrologist and she's by far the most genuine and inspired. I really enjoy her channel and highly recommend that you check her out. This is the second week she talked about Letting Go.
I've shared a lot of Colette Baron Reid's weekly oracle video. As she explains...these are prescriptions not predicions. The last couple of weeks have been about letting go but this week in particular the energy seems to be strong. This weeks cards were Time To Go, Mending and New Life!
Lune Innate is amazing. I love her videos. They are very calming and Reiki defintely has an effect on me. Although, this session is not Reiki. This Healing session is perfect for the current energy of change and letting go!
Finally there is Dimitri (not sure I spelt his name correctly) from Massage ASMR with a quck sort of Reiki type healing where he is 'drawing away' those old energy patterns that you do not need.
Conclusion
We are living in dramatically powerful times. The key is to allow yourself to let go of all of these things that do not serve you. Don't try to hold onto them but let them go. If things are currently falling apart it's because they do not serve you now. If you try to hold onto those things the new better circumstances coming into your life will be blocked...and the only person that is blocking them from manifesting them is you. I focused on all of the stuff that I let go of before...but let me share the NEW stuff that's come into my life. First and foremost is my goregous lovely beautiful baby girl Michelle Annmarie. She is a feisty and smilely little lovely girl. Her presence has altered my entire world. Second, I have a gorgeous 2017 Chevy Cruze Premier with leather heated seats and Sirius satellite radio sitting in my driveway. The Sirius satelite radio is how I learned of the band Nothing More which is the only band other then Disturbed that are currently producing songs that I'm excited about. Third, a new and better Refrigerator. The water filtration system on this one is far superior to the last one. Fourth, a new Double Oven with a griddle which will make cooking so much more fun. I literally have every appliance I may ever need in my kitchen. I will be making fanastic home made meals and baby food for my Michelle. Fifth, pretty soon there will be a kitchen remodel...and so, in a way, I'll have a new kitchen! Sixth, new Disturbed album in October! Given that I pretty much listend to nothing else (except the Frozen soundtrack) but Immortalized that came out in 2015 I am so excited about this new alblum. The latest alblum is called Evolution! I'm sure there are more things but that's what's arrived so far...I've already stated how my husband has received a new and better job. That alone will be a major upgrade in our quality of living! Let go of all of that baggage you've been carrying around...all that hold history and old victimization mentality. Let in the new reborn you...a totally different person then all of those experiences that you have had before...hold onto the lessons those events taught you about yourself....and move on to the NEW YOU and your NEW LIFE! I will end with sharing with you these three songs. Nothing More- Do you Really Want It?- That's the quesiton you should be asking yourself. Do you really want Change? That's what was promised by Obama and Trump...but only you can do that by changing yourself. That's the decision you need to make in the next year. As the song says...you get ripped apart in some ways by the process but it's only your persona that's being torn apart...not the real you...not your essence which is eternal! Disturbed- Are You Ready? In the same vein as he above this song asks are you ready for Change? Notice how the video is someone rebelling against Group Think? Linking Park- Catalyst- This song has been playing a lot on my YouTube Music app. This breakdown and destruction of who you used to think you were...all upon which you have built the ego...is the Catalyst in your personal transforamtion (The Tower Card in the Tarot Card Keys- check out my YouTube channel for that video). I didn't even know this song existed prior to this year...Chester Bennington was such a psychic sensitive soul...he just couldn't let go of his past despite all of his success and transition into a new paradigm. Just like Anthony Bourdain the past they couldn't let go of hunted them down and ended their lives too soon. I see the death of these two, both among my favorite celebraties and I can count all of my favorite celebraties on one hand, as a warning to anyone trying to hold on to the past and resist the change. That strategy will lead you to destruction. Thank you, Brave Soul, for joining me. I'm sending much love to you to help you with the transition!

There is a lot of confusion when it comes to the spiritual community.
Right now a lot of people are saying that we are 'going into 5D.' They connect it to Ascension and all other sorts of things. This teaching is very confusing and I think very much mislead. Is 5D Ascension The Same As The Biblical Rapture? Sadly, because of the way that the book of Revelation has been taught...as an apocalyptic scenario to motivate the mass majority of believers with Fear...it has translated to people who have left that religion. This has lead some people to project the same idea of the rapture onto the more 'new age' ideas. While such an idea, that one day based on the way we act we will disappear from the current Earth and go to a new place....seems exciting there are some moral issues with that idea...and indicates a fundamental desire to escape physical material reality. Because of these long held fear based beliefs permeating our society people naturally jump to these unhealthy conclusions and latch onto these ideas. There is a sort of twisted hope in this but it would be detrimental and counterproductive to the process of self-development encouraged and taught by most of the spiritual origins of the New Age movement. As usual, a little bit of information can be dangerous in a distorted mind. A Change In Consciousness There is a change going on. The Esoteric teachers of the mid 1900's, the Indigenous peoples of the United States and the Hindu's all seem to agree that were at the decisive end of an age. Bashar talks about the Splitting of the Timelines but he emphasizes that the people won't even know the difference. That there will just be some who will continue on and some who will go down a darker path because they are not as spiritually evolved. Bashar never claimed we would go anywhere...but discussed it as two Trains of Thought...which I finally grasped as those who choose to think positively (positive train of thought) and those who continue to think negatively/pessimistic bent on creating a dystopian future (negative train of thought). Victor Oddo discussed how it is a change of consciousness or a state of mind instead of a place people go in this YouTube Video
The Fifth Root Race
While some might call this process evolving into the "5th dimension" it was referred to by many more people in the 1930's as the Fifth Root Race. Rudolf Steiner and Edgar Cacye are the two sources I have read that discuss this idea in detail. John Van Auken has explained what Edgar Cacye revealed this way...
...that as the women on this planet start to operate on an higher level of Spiritual Intelligence the lower negative souls will not be able to incarnate. Instead, women will start to give birth to children who are the next step in human evolution.
When people hear 'the next step' in human evolution they might get overly excited as well...but based on my research it's not that dramatic. When it comes to progress in the material world everything happens gradually so people an adapt accordingly. The progress we've made from the 1930's, dramatically indicated by the Peace and Love revolution of the 60's and followed by the optimism of the 80's shows how gradual humanity changes...but if you were to put the average person from today in the same room as someone in the 1930's the difference would be dramatic and apparent. Entering the Age of The Human According to the Hopi Native American tradition this simply means we are entering the Age of the Human. We will leave behind all of the nonsense involved with the Animal Age. Throughout the animal age we have acted as pacts (division) and we had a survival of the fittest attitude. During the Animal age we were focused on surviving and our own needs that we were willing to kill or destroy on a planetary level to get what we want. The pack mentality (Group Think) has also been emphasized in the last 2000 years. A lot of this had to do with the need to develop a sense of self due to the Illusion of Separation. () In the new paradigm of the 5th root race/ 5th Dimension consciousness there will be a shift due to the realization that we are not Seperate and that what effects one effects another on the Collective Consciousness level. In light of this knowledge the importance of teaching the dysfunctional people in our society how to work with and heal their Subconscious Shadow will be of paramount importance. We won't just be meeting their physical animal needs of feeding, clothing and sheltering them...but have a personal investment in healing them. There will be more of a focus on serving the entire community by doing what we do best with less emphasis on a competitive desire to impress others. Again, it will all be gradual changes on the societal level as people consciously change. This won't come about due to violence or revolution. This won't be something lead or instituted by the government. There will be no spiritual authority figure or aliens that will descend from the heavens and with a wave of their hand magically or introducing technology that will prompt this change. Instead, it will be a gentle slow change occurring on an individual level. The critical mass needed to cause this shift in the Collective Consciousness has already been reached. Now, it is just a matter of time as the Higher Selves choose which path forward they will take with their Avatars. If This Is True Why Are Things So Bad? Sometimes, to spark an inner change, traumatic events have to occur on an outer level. A lot of the darkness that has occurred for years is being brought out into the public eye. The reason, to show the incompetency of Trump for example, doesn't matter. What matters is that these practices and policies are coming into the light of the Group Consciousness instead of being hidden. That way we can deal with them appropriately. Also, when we see others going through horrific experiences it encourages us to develop hearts of Compassion. True Compassion is not the desire to wipe out all suffering by Control but accepting that suffering exists and knowing the causes. This will also cause more people to become Seekers and hopefully they will find the answers to ending their own Suffering by the tested and true methods. Conclusion Since this is a hypothetical abstract idea to start with I just wanted to weigh in with my two cents. I don't like seeing people suffer as a lot of people are doing right now. Focusing on some miraclous 'event' that will magically transform the thinking on this planet in the twinkle of a human eye (in Spirit, which progresses faster then this planet anyways it will seem like a twinkle of an eye even if it takes years on an individual level)...causes suffering. Looking to escape by looking without to something else to change us is folly. Doing the work on an individual personal level by following the Inward Path to working with the Subconscious produces actual visible results. As more people achieve and share those results with others I'm sure that the progress in the change of consciousness will continue to accelerate. The tried and proven method of 'changing the world' doesn't involve changing other peoples minds. The change involves changing our perception and reaction to the emotionally triggering events. I hope you find reassurance in this blog post and my thoughts on this subject. If you want to see Rapid Change in your life you must turn inward. Don't expected it to occur because of something happening outside of you. Don't expect someone to save you.
To The Beloved Who Read My Blog,
I'm writing this update in July. I wanted to take a moment to explain why there won't be a lot of dream interpretation blogs or personal updates until December. The main reason is that I am going into a very different life cycle and whenever there is a change like that there is a little bit of chaos. I didn't want the learning curve that I will be going through in the next few months to keep me from sharing the exciting information I have planned with all of you. Therefore, I'm putting my time on bed rest to good use and I have already written scheduled blogs through December. I have been very inspired and I have no doubt that I will continue to be inspired to write over the course of next month prior to my daughters birth. The great news is because of this my blog will be very consistent, yet, a scheduled system doesn't really allow for spontaneous blogs. I'm embracing the experience of this change which is why I preferred to work ahead on my blog so that there would be no interruption. I'm also working ahead with my YouTube videos.I have videos scheduled all the way through December as well...and I did not schedule many Traveler Notes during that time (just one at the end of this month that was recorded in July). That's because I prefer to record Traveler Notes in real time so that they are relevant to current circumstances. In essence, I am going to take a little bit of a break from this blog and YouTube from August through December and just focus on my family. Saturday will be the only day I will actively post a blog because I can't embed YouTube vidoes that haven't been published. Once I fall into a pattern with my family I'm sure that I'll be back with a personal update. I have one scheduled in December. In December of 2017 I dubbed 2018 as the, "Year of Change," and in many ways there have been dramatic changes in my life...and dramatic tests. I have seen so many of my friends and family move for various reasons or change career paths (at least 9, but I'm sure there are more) and there have been many people going through the Dark Night of the Soul. A lot of people I never imagined would Wake Up spiritually are hearing the call of Spirit during these dramatic Dark Nights and making their choice to continue to do what they have always done or to change on an inner level. While some believe this to be scary...because leaving what we consider familiar even if it makes us unhappy and stepping into the unknown is not comfortable...I think it's a wonderful time to be alive. I am really sick of the hatred I have seen openly expressed over the last four years and I'm looking forward to a real change in the atmosphere of our nation as more people develop a Compassionate Heart as a result of learning the Oneness of Humanity. Thank you so much for the continued support of my blog and my YouTube channel . I love sharing this information that has greatly enriched and transformed my life with others. My greatest joy is knowing that I am helping and inspiring others to do the same. So, enjoy the blogs and YouTube videos on the 7 Tarot Key Cards of the Seeker, the 7 Hebrew Letters of the Seeker's Path, the 7 stages of Alchemy and the 7 Sephiroth of the Path of the Seeker.
Synchronicity Example
I've already identified in previous posts that I knew that I was at the end of the cycle and many things from previous cycles were falling out of my life. I couldn't quite put my finger on what that meant, however, or why it was happening. I was experiencing a bit of fear and uncertainty due to all of these changes. I in no way claim that I am devoid of fear or that I have perfected how I walk the Path. Knowing that I was coming up on such a dramatic change in my life and being uncertain of what it really meant I was not very comfortable. Letting go can always be hard. In her weekly oracle forecast one of the cards Collette Baron Reid pulled was Message in A Bottle. This alerted me that there might be some sort of message that I would receive this week that would help me clarify the situation. Now I'll admit that I doubted this because I entered this week in a very negative state of mind...and, yet, despite that doubt my over-riding intuition kept my mind open to the possibility...and that's exactly what happened. On July 16th I had a dream where I was in a library (my symbol for the Akashic Library) and I saw graduation fliers stacked on tables. There was one with numerous items of mine on it and I was a little upset in the dream because I didn't order them. On it were several pictures, the large picture at the top was a picture of a White Rocking Horse decoration that I have (the picture I attached at the top of my post), followed by a large picture of an absolutely beautiful baby girl, then at the bottom were three pictures...one of my dog Angel Korns who recently passed, my 2006 Ford Ranger that I am in the process of selling to buy a family sedan, and a picture I don't remember. I now realize that this 'graduation flier' showed that I had graduated from an old state of life to a new one. The thing is I really didn't understand what it meant...or at the very least a part of me didn't want to understand. I wasn't really certain about this new cycle and what it held...and, in a way, I felt as though this change required that I give up a sense of my own personal identity. Last night, I couldn't sleep. My daughter had managed to get herself into a very uncomfortable place in my womb. She's currently transverse- which means she's horizontal. This is nothing to worry about because regardless of how she is I'm going to have a c-section due to my medical history. Yet, it does lead to a lot of discomfort on my part...she more then just tickles my ribs when she maneuvers herself into a higher position in my womb. Either way, I decided I would listen to an ASMR video to help me relax and get back to sleep despite the moderate amount of pain. I turned on the Tingles App and saw that one of my favorite people- Lune Innate- had posted a video. She's not really ASMR...she does more spiritually minded posts then posts that cause people to tingle but her voice is relaxing. She was doing a Oracle Card reading for the Full Moon Lunar Eclipse of July 27th. In the video, which you will find attached below starting at the reading I chose the second set of Oracle Cards. You can watch what she shares for yourself below. However, what amazed me is that I received a very direct answer to my question and, strangely, both Lune Innate and I recently turned 36. I realized, as she was talking about in her own life...I'm shifting out of the Maiden phase of my life...the time where I was only focused on myself. That ties in perfectly with the cutting ties with what was, for all intents and purposes, parts of my life that were firmly established when I was single from 2005-2009 (I did date people but that's totally different from being married). Those parts of my life were perfectly suited, necessary and helped served their purpose while I was establishing my individuality at that time. However, as I go into the Mother phase of my life things completely change. As Lune Innate brings up with the card on Sacrifice...being a mother does mean that you have to sacrifice doing things solely for yourself...it requires a change in the Role of a person from self-oriented needs, wants and desires to catering to the needs of the family. In his book (that I am currently reading) Awakening the Buddha Within by Lama Surya Das he explains that even if people choose not to believe in reincarnation they can look at different parts of their lives as 'different lives.' I have advocated that for quite awhile...and that is exactly what is happening. I am letting go of the Persona, subsequently the lifetime associated with it, that I created very carefully in that time period between 2005-2008. That persona (Greek for Mask) was very egoic and filled with labels as well as attachments that defined 'me.' In fact, it was very much based on a villain in my novel. I know that sounds strange but to me that villain seemed strong and for a long time in my life I was more attracted to embodying a Darth Vader type persona than a Luke Skywalker because it seemed more intimidating and powerful...because I was coming from a place of disempowerment and fear. That 'lifetime' as that persona served as a stepping stone to my most recent 7 year cycle. The entire reason my husband was attracted to me was because of my short hair and 'edgy' rebellious style. Without it I would not have attracted him. Yet, it's time to let go of that persona completely. In many ways, I did let go of that persona in 2014 when I started to express my authentic self by embracing my emotional/intuitive/subconscious and walking the Path of the Seeker. Yet, I didn't consciously completely release the 'edgy' kind of rebellious persona. I think the difference in the picture of me from 2009 and the picture of me this year 2018, shows a dramatic difference between the persona I adopted back then and my authentic self. I can still put on that persona, as a mask of sorts, when appropriate such as if I ever go to a rock concert (unlikely since even the smell of marijuana makes me throw up)...but it's more like donning a Halloween costume...I know it's just an illusion and I don't identify that with 'me' but just a conscious illusion I choose to create. Yet, I am seeing the last remnants of that life being completely wiped away. This next cycle will very much focus on partnership and the relationships I have with soul mates- in the form of my Husband, my daughter, and her future sibling whom I'm hoping will make their debut in this world in 2020. There was another dream I had on June 10th 2018 that I did not understand that knowing this helped me to understand. In that dream I was a super hero (a very entertaining them which reflects taking responsibility and acting courageously with compassion for me). I was at a warehouse and I was waiting for he 'villain' to come along. When she did it was an old character that I wrote about...and she asked me to help let her die because she was being 'eaten alive by cancer'. I told her that I could do that and I held her as her life seeped out of her and heard he most beautiful angelic music playing. I think after all that I have written that dream is easy to interpret...however, just in case, it's clear that old character was representative of that aspect of myself that I built up and created...but hadn't completely let go of in this life. That course which was very bitter, if I had continued on it, probably would not have ended well as the 'eaten up with cancer' factor of that persona indicates. Letting go of that defensiveness has been hard...being fully vulnerable and transparent with people can be tough and goes against everything that we have been programmed to do (especially if your an introvert like me)...you would think with the YouTube channel and this blog I would have that down but for a long while I had a lot of self-doubt in a one-on-one in person environment.
Now, I thought that this video from Lune Innate would be it...lesson learned.
There was a strong connection with what I was experiencing and what she was talking about in her hybrid Tarot and oracle card reading. Yet, I stumbled across a wonderful channel with someone who understands and can talk about astrology and be straight to the point (Rick Levine know's his stuff but he rambles and projects a lot). Conscious Cool Chic Molly McCord is to the point and...apparently, the entire set of patterns that I have found myself in were in the stars themselves. First, is the realization that i can't save everyone...and that it's really up to them. I can't drag people along into a new paradigm. I realized this was a major life theme of this year back on July 4th when I shared this blog about getting on the Positive Train: https://bridgetkorns.weebly.com/blog/getting-on-the-positive-train6100232. I kind of felt when I wrote the positive train post that it was a last call to get your ticket for this transition...and it seems that's what the Stars themselves are saying. By the time you read this blog, the Lunar and Solar Eclipses will have happened. Life might not change dramatically for you at that time (as it will for me) so that you notice but that shift will have happened. What is so strange for me is that while she's talking about things happening on a Collective Conscious level...the dates are very much tied to events going on in my life. When she starts to talk about the August 11th Solar Eclipse in Leo...well, I should either be just out of the hospital after a c-section delivery of my daughter Michelle or still in the hospital after that surgery. My husbands birthday is August 10th...so, he's going through a tremendous transition from what was a continuation of his single life...to the full responsibility of being a father who is going to share the work and joy of raising Michelle more equally then any other man I have ever encountered. That my life is paralleling the state of the Collective Consciousness so closely is pretty darn amazing.
Conclusion
Now that I know where I am going it does provide a lot of hope and eases the uncomfortable feeling I had that was preventing me from letting go of the remnants of that persona. I can see how the items I've let go of recently had no place in this new phase of development. As Francesca Simone says, knowing what phase I'm going into helps me to set my intentions and plant the seeds I hope to reap in the next 7 year cycle. In many ways my Higher Self has confirmed the goal of partnership as the purpose of this next phase of my life which means that I can consciously help co-create these experiences so that they are in alignment with my soul's goal. Life is so much easier when you are consciously working with your Higher Self.

One of the most fascinating aspects of studying Alchemy is that it confirmed a lot of information I suspected. Prior to reading about Alchemy and the Tarot I had the idea that water symbolized the subconscious and emotions but I really didn't have any proof.
That's the strange thing about Alchemy and the Tarot. Both really get to the heart of Universal Symbolism. Nothing I have studied can compare to these two systems, so closely intertwined, when it comes to Universal Symbolism. Now, in a lot of ways this stage of Alchemy is letting go of Attachments. Calcination made us let go of many of our attachments by reducing them to ashes. Often, this is through some sort of crisis such as being fired from work or getting a divorce. Both of these events can force us to let go of attachments. In Buddhisim holding onto attachments that exist within PMR (physical matter reality) is called Raga and it's considered one of the three poisons. The only way to correct these three poisons is the Eight Fold Path. So, you can see, this releasing of attachments to Physical Matter Reality transcends all religions. In Christianity this is the essence of the statement, "Be in this world but not of it." Yeshua never formed attachments to PMR. He didn't own anything. He did have a family. He didn't own a house. He never asked people for money to support his cause. (You might say his life is the exact opposite of the Catholic Church and all subsequent churches). Letting go of attachments and working with our emotions is paramount. I've said a lot about working with emotions but in essence when you acknowledge your emotions, appreciate them as messengers informing you of present circumstances, and let them go life just becomes easier. Emotions are like little mysteries and until we get to the bottom of what they are saying to us we really don't know ourselves. Once you become familiar with working with your emotions you begin to see how your emotions and your subconscious work in conjunction to create that 'sixth sense' or 'all seeing eye'. Once you cultivate that flexible mind that works with the emotions and subconscious life changes. Sometimes, as I have discovered, you can be thrown off. However, the recovery time becomes faster and faster once you know how to work with these elements of your own consciousness. Once you achieve this level of inner Alchemy you perceive life very differently. For me personally, right now, the very last of my ego attachments are dissolving in a brilliant fashion as I circle around to the same curve in the Path that I have visited many times in the last seven years as a new 7 year cycle begins. Things that I never expected to give up have left my life- a best friend that I vented to and talked to every day (I was becoming closer to her then my husband and that relationship was not a positive one), my Ford Ranger truck (I've known that was coming for a while but it was a symbol for my independence back in 2006 so I had a very strong personal attachment to it), the dog I considered 'mine' (my husband considered her mine too and not really his I've discovered because she was never the type of dog he would have chosen and I got her back in 2006 too), and even my personal bank account. There are more levels to it but these are the ones that come to mind right now (I closed my personal bank account today and it was entirely unplanned...I discovered that they had changed the contract without notifying me- other then a message to my online bank account- so that they were charging a very expensive maintanence fee because a one year 'trial period' had come to an end). All of the stuff that made me a seperate independent entity from my husband and my daughter are gone. Which ties into the the seperation phase that was supposed to be next in this play list but was accidently published in June (oops). At this point in time I've realized that I'm going into a 7 year cycle that will focus on community and family unit group work but I'll cover that in a future blog (that won't be published until March...I'm sorry. I've written a lot of content and it's all planned through next year). Anyhow, thank you for joining me in exploring this avenue on the Path of the Seeker Brave Soul. Sorry about the mix up between Alchemy level's 2 and 3...I hope you've learned something and you can check out the videos below to understand the dissolution process a bit better (especially the melting chocolate one which makes me hungry for some yummy chocolate peppermint cookies since that's the one recipe I use this method of cooking for all of the time!!). Melting Chocolate In A Baine Marie: https://youtu.be/mNIXOm_-U-8 Soda Ash in Water Experiment: https://youtu.be/8EvLjimlXZ8 I've always found the image of Jesus bleeding, broken and dying on the cross to be disgusting. This central figure of the Catholic Church was just distasteful. How could you worship a being and focus on it's worst moment...never calling to mind the grace, beauty and wonder of the life of Jesus?
He taught so many wonderful things...why focus on this darkest moment? Well, with Catholics it's mostly to amplify the feelings of fear and guilt so that you continue to show up on Sunday and they make money. Yet, there is more to the practice of human and animal sacrifice then the fact that humans can act like beasts in the field in attempt to purify themselves of their spiritual short comings. To quote the movie Dogma, "You do not celebrate your religion, you mourn it." Where did this idea come from? Surely, it was not a natural thing to sacrifice other humans and animals. Now, if you look at most religions you will see that sacrifice- either animal or human- was practiced at some point in the past. In Egypt and in the Jewish religion animals were sacrificed at the temples. Each animal was symbolic of a specific shortcoming of the person sacrificing the animal or to gain a favor or blessing. Both Mayans and Aztecs sacrificed humans and in particular their hearts. In Christianity Jesus is seen as a human sacrifice to his father, God, in order to wipe away the sins of his followers. Only through the fact that his blood was split, they say, are his followers forgiven without having to do anything other then to believe he was the Son of God. Thankfully, today, there are very few groups who follow the practice of human or animal sacrifices. Yet, it begs the question, how did this practice start? Why would anyone believe that the God they believe in requires a living being to die in exchange for being purified or receive a blessing? The Temple Beautiful The Edgar Cacye material provides a really good answer as to how human sacrifice might have started. In most cases it was probably a misinterpretation of a practice that was meant to purify the body that did not involve a physical component of sacrifice. In a prior incarnation Edgar Cacye had been a high priest named Ra Ta in Egypt. This is said to have happened right after the flood. He also traveled the world and taught his purifying techniques to other cultures. According to the Cacye material when human souls first began pushing into matter they took on animal characteristics. The bodies they built for themselves back then were mostly Astral...not as dense as our bodies are now. These beings were stuck in the process of reincarnation already but they retained the qualities of the animals or plants that they were attached to through heir experiences. Instead of having a human body in the image that we have now...they would manifest with hooves, beaks or leaves coming out of their face. These bodies were considered impure or corrupted. Ra Ta set out to make a 'pure' human body. To do this he created two Temples- One was the Temple Beautiful and the other was the Temple of Sacrifice. Here's how John Van Auken describes the sacrifices in his book Ancient Egyptian Mysticism (1999): "The Altars were prepared according to inner guidance. They included sacrificial altars and beautification altars. They did not sacrifice animals, birds, beasts, reptiles or humans on these altars, as some today may think. Upon these altars individuals put their faults and blotted them out with he fires of the Unseen Forces that were set in motion by attunement to the powers of Spirit. When these cleansings were combined with inner guidance to commit oneself to a specific career or service, one could make great leaps forward in freedom from earthiness and limited consciousness. This was only done after the seekers had chosen to give themselves to their services....The program was not reclusive or elitist. Whether one was channeled to work in the sacred services of the altars or in the daily labors of the granary, both were seen equally as divinely manifesting their ultimate potential to Magnify God in life." pg 28 So, you see it was metaphysical sort of sacrifice...not all that different from the concept of Baptisim...that was the start of these sacrifices and it was to cleanse both body and mind. What Happened? We can only guess that as knowledge of these principals fell away that the people who came afterward started associating the actual animals and body parts with the sacrifices. At that time, no doubt, the perfected dense physical body had been created. So, the idea of these astral bodies with animal and plant like appendages just didn't make sense. To make sense of it from the Earthy point of view, then, the ancient oral or written tradition was modified. Whereas, perhaps, Ra Ta would instruct that in order to get rid of the impression of calf hooves a person would have to right the imbalance of greed......it transformed into that in order to atone for that particular failure or 'sin' an actual calf had to be sacrificed. Perhaps, there were written or oral instructions handed down from that time but because the body had become more dense and less astral there were no longer physical echoes of the souls having been in animal like bodies when they first pushed into matter and no memory of that time... and so the most likely interpretation was that a physical sacrifice would bring about both a physical and spiritual purification. Jesus As A Sacrifice Perhaps it seems normal that after a long bloody history of both human and animal sacrifice in human history that a God would descend and his body would be sacrificed as payment for his followers. I can only think that the reason that this explanation for why Jesus died on the cross was born from the same people who believed that sacrificing a goat would cleanse them of sins. The book of Leviticus, after all, in the bible tells in detail how to sacrifice different animals- in particular birds. However, aside from the potential sacrifice of Isaac in the Torah where an Angel stopped it from happening...human sacrifice was never a part of Hebrew tradition. Yet, thanks to the Edgar Cacye material and my own intuition I don't believe that was Jesus intent or the reason for his death on the cross. There is plenty of evidence that this idea, that Jesus physically sacrificed his body so his physical blood would cleanse his followers, is just plain wrong...and disgusting. In the Edgar Cacye material where they explain Jesus' past lives they explain that he was the patriarch Joshua who cleared out the holy land. At one point Joshua brutally executed all of the former kings of the land where Israel would be created by having them hung from trees. Karmically, in exchange for having hung others without remorse in that past life without justification...he too was hung...but on a cross instead of a tree. For me though, the main reason that he did not try to escape persecution and death on the cross was because he had to leave the disciples. As long as the disciples had access to Jesus they didn't try to contact God themselves. They did not try to get in touch with the Holy Ghost (the subconscious) because they could go directly to Jesus in the flesh and ask their answers. They didn't trust themselves to be channels for the Divine. I'm not a huge fan of the Book of John in the Bible (I think the book of Matthew is closer to what truly happened- but that is a bias based on a past life memory of having seen Jesus in Jerusalem in a past life. A past life, I must remind you, where I was stoned to death by the members of that first church formed by Paul the Roman for saying, "That's not what he said!" So, at some point I heard Jesus speak and that's why a lot of the dogmatic interpretations of his words ring false to me.) "But very truly I tell you, it is for your good that I am going away. Unless I go away, the Advocate will not come to you; but if I go, I will send him to you." John 16:7 But the Advocate, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have told you. John 14:26 Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one's life for one's friends. John 15:13 These are Jesus replies to the disciples when they ask why he must die. He does not say that he is dying to wipe away the sins of his followers with his physical blood so they may enter the Kingdom of Heaven. He does not say that his father requires his blood to free the world. He does say that he is laying down his life for his friends so that the Holy Ghost, the advocate, may come to them. Jesus knew as long as he was in the flesh acting as intermediary between his disciples and himself they would have no reason to turn inward, as he had done, and connect with the Divine. Only his absence would be the catalyst for them to take on this personal transformation for themselves. The bit about a blood sacrifice that wiped away the sins of the followers of Jesus without them having to change anything about their own personal psychology was added later by Paul the Roman who thought as Roman's do and who had no regard for Hebrew tradition...although, the animal sacrifices at the Temple might be an explanation for why the ultimate sacrifice of a human body that housed the divine form would have to be be sacrificed for the 'worlds sin'. Paul was not taught the secret teachings directly and there is no references that the Apostles ever taught him the secret teachings of Jesus. In fact, we lose all track of the disciples as soon as Jesus is dead. Who knew what the disciples taught or what they did really? After Jesus's death the New Testament is all about Paul the Roman and his interpretations as well as guidance to the newly formed churches. So, he just projected what he knew from his own religion on to the new religion that was formed after Jesus died...with no regard for the Hebrew teachings that Jesus revered. Conclusion Animal and human sacrifices were never required to return to Source. More then likely it was a misinterpretation of ancient knowledge. With the story of Ra Ta we have one source for this idea that is more then likely, if it is true, the cause of most of the practices of human and animal sacrifice. The processes once used to purify the bodies of partly astral beings were misinterpreted and then a complex system of sacrifice arose. The part of humans having mostly astral bodies to start off with is corroborated by the Channel Bashar in a context that had nothing to do with the Edgar Cacye story. So there is more then one source that hints at this idea. The main part about sacrifices that always failed to hit the mark, as far as I'm concerned, is that it never required that the person performing the sacrifice change in any way.. As long as they sacrificed something outside of themselves- even Jesus- they have absolutely no reason to look within. They can just go to a Temple or Church and preform the correct rite...then go right back out to sinning again...and in a cycle of returning to the church always be forgiven. This is the sort of illogical hypocritical nonsense that gave rise to atheism. The fact a person never had to change their behavior is why sacrifices never worked. If you truly desire transformation it is not an outer physical sacrifice that must be met. The sacrifice has to be made within the Interior Temple and it is not a physical body part that is required. The sacrifice that is required is the attachment to the material world. Just the attachment...it does not require that you get rid of what you are attached to but that you let go of the importance that you place on that physical item in your life. Really, it'st he sacrifice of your Shadow and this involves Shadow work. There is no pain when you give up your Psychological Shadow...there is a great deal of relief. The Shadow and the Ego cause more pain and suffering then anything else in this world. Both are the product of attachment to the physical world and physical outcomes. To me, when looking at religions without bias, the role of sacrifice and how it became distorted is obvious and clear. With the history of Ra Ta we have a precedence of where the idea came from and how it's been misapplied by the generations of priests that came after that time. They didn't know or understand the origin so they interpreted it the best that they could. So, it was not a great conspiracy. Just a lack of understanding on the part of all of those involved and a bit of an obsession with death. I had no idea what I was getting into with this book.
I first I was confused. Is this channeled material? Is this material that an actual monk named Djwhal Khul gave to Alice Baiely? I'm still not really sure. I can't recommend it for everyone because the information feels a bit obtuse. I definitely wouldn't consider this an easy read. There is so much information in this book that is so diverse...the fact it's not even an accurate summary of the information about the 7 rays is mind blowing. For any avid Seeker I urge you to give this book a try. If you do not comprehend it the first time through...that's okay. Your subconscious will work upon it...then you'll just go back into it again. This book is a compilation based on letters 'compiled by a student' and published by a private company called Lucis Trust. I stumbled across this book because of a Esoteric Astrology presentation given by William Meader. I wanted to know what his source because he never gave credit to anyone else for the system he seemed to be sharing. So I looked up Esoteric Astrology and up came Alice A. Bailey's name. I saw that there was a book called the 7 rays and given the many systems of 7's I've studied I decided to buy the book as a lark. This is from the introduction, "As the publishers of their books, we are delighted to issue this new compilation- "The Seven Rays of Life" - which is intended to serve as an introduction to the whole subject of the rays. The information in this book should not be regarded as complete or definitive, bur rather as a sign post that can direct people to experiencing the reality of the seven rays for themselves. This requires more than an intellectual approach; it demands, and can foster, the unfoldment of the intuition. This inclusive quality of awareness goes beyond the thought forms that veil spiritual truth. It will enable those who persist in their quest for wisdom to have a direct experience of some inner reality, in this case the significance and the quality, as well as the outer effects, of the seven rays." (Forward). Now, I read this first prior to reading Dion Fortune's book and I was surprised when Fortune actually referred to the Seven Rays. This information, back during it's time among the esoteric circle, was obviously known. Not only that but Fortune assigned them to a specific Sephiroth - Chesed. The Essence of the book is that there are 7 rays upon which divinity split itself to manifest reality. Each of those 7 Rays are what gave rise to the 'masses' or the ''choirs of Angels'. Not only that but each soul that incarnates in this Physical Realm comes from these 7 rays...or 'incarnates upon the 7 rays.' Each Ray is assigned to a planet which are seen as their physical representatives. There are three Rays of Aspect: 1. Will/Power 2. Love/Wisdom 3. Adaptability/ Active Intelligence Then there are four Rays of Attribute 4 Harmony/Beauty/Art 5. Concrete Knowledge/ Science 6. Abstract Idealisim 7. Ceremonial Magic One of the key concepts, that I found fascinating, was that the Fifth Ray of Concrete Knowledge/Science started passing out of incarnation in 1998. Now, 1998 is an important date pin pointed by Edgar Cacye as well as being a pivotal turning point. Now, we know why. Here is what Alice Bailey had to say on the subject back in 1949: "The Fifth Ray has been in Manifestation for nearly seventy years. It will pass out (by special and unique arrangement) in another fifty years (published 1949) , thus breaking into it's own cycle, because it is deemed that the needed special impulse given to the human "spirit of discovery" has served it's purpose. Any further intensification of the mental processes just now (except through the general pervasive effect of the third ray) might prove disastrous. The ray cycles are usually set and determined, but in collaboration with each other and because of the imminent spiritual Crisis of Approach, the Lord of the Fifth Ray and the Lord of the World have decided temporarily to withdraw this type of force. It will take about fifty years to do this." Here is another fascinating tid bit that is far from a doomsday prediction: "This little known divine energy now streams out of the Holy Center. It embodies in itself the energy which lies behind the world crisis of the moment (Word War II). It is the Will of God to produce certain radical and momentous changes in the consciousness of humanity which will completely alter man's attitude to life and living. It is this force which will bring about in conjunction with the Second Ray force that- that tremendous crisis- immenent in the human consciousness- which we call the second crisis- the initiation of the race into the Mystery of the Ages- into that which has been hid from the beginning... The First Crisis...was the crisis of individualization wherein man became a living soul. the second crisis is the immediate one of initiation, made possible (if you will but believe it) by the many individual initiations which have lately been under gone by those members of the human family who had vision and a willingness to pay the price." pg 100 "All that we have considered covers the time till the coming in of the new subrace. This race will summaries and carry to a temporary conclusion the manasic effort of the fifth root race of mental growth, and will cause results of stupendous import... Other cosmic rays will play upon our earth as this seventh ray activity becomes increasingly active, the result of their influence will be to facilitate the emergence of the new racial types, and above all else, to destroy the veil or web which separates the world of the seen and tangible from the world of unseen and intangible...(the) web separating the world of the physical life and the astral." pg 128 "The third effect of the coming of this (seventh ray) is one that may repel- it will cause a great destruction in the animal kingdom. During the next few hundred years many of the old animal forms will die out and become extinct..." pg 164 There is much more in this book this these prophetic statements. The 349 pages are chock full of astrological, esoteric psychology and details about the 7 rays. I can't even begin to go into the details. The people of our current age want to take the sole blame for the dying off of animal species do to climate change...but Alice Bailey saw it coming back in the 1940's as an important part of the New Age. This work has a long view of humanity. It seeks to divulge the cosmic plan for Creation, and in particular, humanity. There is a lot of information about the Path of the Seeker in particular. There is a lot of advice on how to keep on the Path and not fall into pitfalls. There is a huge emphasis on Group Work that I do not resonate with...as I prefer small groups (although, technically you could say I belong to Fracesca Simon's Charting Your Course Group Work). So, get out there and read this book if your truly devoted to the Path of the Seeker. You'll find a lot of spiritual sustenance in this book, even if it is a bit overwhelming and confusing at times. Just take it slow, and as I said, your subconscious is absorbing all of this and you will plant seeds of comprehension that will bloom with time and study of other subjects. I will, no doubt cover the 7 Rays and their implications in up coming blogs but this Review has gone far longer then I prefer.
There is so much to say about the Sephiroth of Yesod that I really couldn't justify putting into this video.
Another name for this Sephiroth could be, "the veil," so often talked about in the metaphysical community. First, please refer to the Dweller of the Threshold blog post here: Second, check out the blog on Moon Cycles here: Third: Check out the blog on the Divine Feminine here: https://bridgetkorns.weebly.com/blog/the-divine-feminine Hopefully you have seen the YouTube video and post on the Alchemical Dissolution, The Tower Tarot Card Key, and the Hebrew Letter Pei already. Alright, so now that you have caught up with all of that (if you have read all three just proceed) we can start to get into this fascinating Sephiroth. Manifestation Yesod is the level where the various process of Manifestation works. Bashar calls it the Template Level of Reality. Here the Higher Self, or soul, much like the writer of a script, sets up the next set of lessons it wants to experience as that individual (or avatar if you prefer). That's why, often times, we have dream premonitions. If we develop the ability to remember our dreams and have a dialogue with our Higher Self through the filter of Yesod we can start to see the underlying purposes or goals of our Higher Self...then we can consciously work with them instead of wondering around in the dark. The Higher Self, as a result of this work, arranges a persons life completely different once the physical avatar Awakens. Most of my sources don't talk about Manifestation. The main reason is that the target audience of these books are people on the Path of the Seeker working on spiritual fulfillment and not just material fulfillment. For the most part, the majority of the human population associate manifestation with physical results...people usually start off wanting to be millionaires, for example. Yet, it's because of the tangible manifesting results that a person experiences after learning how to work with the subconscious-Francesca Simon in her Charting Your Course program calls, "Planting seeds,"- that Marcus Katz and Dion Fortune didn't share much about this Sephiroth. However, it's not all that mysterious when you get down to the basic psychology of this work. People used to think that they could make a mess out of everyone's reality as a result of working with their Subconscious. However, that's not really how it works because all of us have a Subjective Reality...and we choose what we believe or 'buy into' for the most part. Yes, Group Think can have a tremendous impact on that...as we have seen with many cults or fear based religious groups who will follow their leader into death willing. Yet, on every level, it is up to the individual. A wise person on the Path of the Seeker should have developed Discernment when working on the Sephiroth Malkuth. Developing Discernment, after all, is the entire purpose of descending to Malkuth on the Kabbalah Tree of Life...because that is the knowledge of "Good and Evil." Developing the Knowledge of Good and Evil teaches us about ourselves and develops our individuality. Eventually, we learn that the definitions of Good and Evil depends on our perspective and paradigm...all things whether events, people or things are neutral until it comes into the awareness of our consciousness. At this level after developing discernment so that we avoid those fear based off balance teachers because it's easy to know them by the 'fruits of their labor' a person can start to work with manifestation consciously. (How does a teacher make you feel after you read their work? Do they make you sick to your stomach? Do you have nightmares? Well, then more then likely they are False Teachers...the Fruits of Spirit are not physical...they may be physically successful but still be completely spiritually unsound). Technically speaking, we are manifesting all of the time but we do so on a subconscious level with a 'program' that we learned based on our previous experiences. When we start working with Yesod we start bringing forward and identifying that once hidden program. We do this by identifying the behaviors that we are repeating that causes suffering...that produces the results that we are seeing in the life that so many usually find unsatisfying. Then we can identify the beliefs upon which these behaviors are based and consciously change them. In the process of working with Yesod we essentially reprogram our subconscious. As we identify these behavior patterns and beliefs we can start choosing positive beliefs....which are the seeds that Francesca Simon talked about in her program. This is called setting an intention. Yet, the key here is that the intentions that we set must align with our Higher Self's (essentially our soul) goals. If we intend for something to happen that does not work towards those goals...or may work against them...we will not achieve it which can make people bitter and fall off the Path of the Seeker. This is why most people don't become millionaires when working with the formula provided by the Secret. Being millionaires is not the souls interest that wants them to develop spiritually. Why would we bother continuing to work towards a spiritual goal if we were living a life of comfort where our every desire was fulfilled because we were so wealthy? Usually, suffering is that prods us to stay on the path of spiritual development with the hope of one day seeing positive results that is the goal of the Higher Self and the entire purpose we incarnate on Earth. Purifying Yesod This is why this Sephiroth must be purified by working with our beliefs and behavior patterns. Our intent must be Spiritually Pure and in alignment to Ascend higher. If we try to work with the subconscious solely for results in PMR (Physical Material Reality) we will be sorely disappointed and may even become convinced that this process is hogwash. Of course, that too will mean that we will not be in alignment with the goals of our Higher Self and we will continue with the same patterns that brought us suffering hoping to find something outside of us in PMR that will 'fix' our lives without all of that scary psychological work of the Inward Path. As we proceed upward on our personal tree of Tree of Life we will further develop a Knowledge of Ourselves and the methods to help purify our intent (As a result our heart will become 'light'...which we will go into more detail about when we reach the Sephiroth of Tiphareth.) A New Seekers First Impression of Yesod When we first take in the view of Yesod we might find that it looks a bit different then the image of the placid ocean picture that I used in the video. More then likely, for the beginner, it will appear like a thrashing untameable ocean which I posted as the main photo of this blog. Luckily, while you can study the further Sephiroth on the Kabbalah Tree of Life intellectually before working through the behaviors and beliefs that create that stormy ocean by "Turning Your Mind Into An Ally," as Sakyong Mipham describes it in the title of his book you won't be able to proceed further. Yet taming that wild ocean is going to be your first goal if you wish for the Path of the Seeker to produce results. That's because of the Dweller of the Threshold which is your Higher Self. There is a certain set of requirements that the Higher Self requires before letting people proceed on further. Until then you might gain a little bit of a taste of what is to come...a few things will manifest...which will keep you going on the work. The Higher Self likes to bait the physical self with a carrot, you might say, but all the secrets of the 'Kingdom' won't be revealed to you until you meet the souls requirements. So, don't be surprised if you dream about a frightening thrashing ocean or, in my case, overflowing aquariums filled with creepy crawling things (fears). These only indicate that there is more work to be done on the level of Yesod. The Veil As I said, most people operate only with Malkuth and Yesod. However, when it comes to Yesod, it and the rest of the Sephiroth that it veils often times operates in the background of a persons consciousness...even though the rest of the Kabbalah Tree of the life is the majority of the iceberg that rest beneath the water's surface. The veil or 'filter' of Yesod exists for a good reason. Several of us come to this level of existence to obtain Individuality as quickly as possible. The Veil of Yesod allows us the ability to believe in the Illusion of Separation. The Filter of Yesod allows us to experience our own personal Kingdom (Malkuth) in a very limited way so that we think we are cut off from the rest of Creation and the Creator. This allows for the possibility of Free Will without the Creators influence. Yet, only those who qualify can proceed further in spiritual development or leave the cycle of death and rebirth that the Buddhists and Hindus call Samsara. Store House of Symbols An important part of working with Yesod is through Dream's which require us to understand the language of the Higher Self...dream symbols. There are two types of symbols we encounter in dreams- Universal Symbols and Personal Symbols. Universal Symbols, known as Archetypes, a term coined by Carl Jung (you can learn more about that in this YouTube video: https://youtu.be/WBOpulvqyoc:) and expanded upon by Joseph Campbell to the point where he recognized the Path of the Seeker called the Hero's Journey (you can learn all about the Hero's Journey starting with this video https://youtu.be/s4nx6Yww5CA ) that are symbols that you will find throughout humanity. The quickest way to learning Archetypes is to study the 22 Major Arcana Tarot Card Key cards as taught by Paul Foster Case and Jason Lotterhand. Yet, you will have personal symbols as well...For example, the people you encounter in your dreams are personal symbols. They reprsent aspects of yourself. What they symbolize depends on what you associate with them. If I dream about a greedy boss...I know it's that part of myself that resembles that greedy boss that he symbolizes and not the actual person. I might be acting greedy in situation with my spouse and I can learn from the dream what I need to change to have a more fulfilling relationship. To really master the Sephiroth of Yesod we have to work with and identify both types of symbols so that we can open up that dialogue with the subconscious. If your curious to learn more and to see examples you can click on the links on the right that say "Dream Interpetation Examples." Yeshua's Statement About Yesod Working on the level of Yesod, Foundation, is very important. We do find a very important reference to working with that Foundation in the New Testament Matthew 7:24: "Anyone who listens to my teaching and follows it is wise, like a person who builds a house on solid rock. The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house; yet it did not fall, because it had its foundation on the rock." I will let you meditate on the potent symbolism that reflects the nature of Yesod in this statement on your own. Note Yeshua did not say that the rock was him but that the Rock of the Foundation is the application of what he taught...using speech. As we examine the Hebrew Letter Pei, the Tower Tarot Card Key and Alchemical process of Dissolution in the coming weeks the importance of applying our knowledge and our speech becomes obvious. Both determine the results that we experience on the Path of the Seeker. Conclusion Yesod is a very important Sephiroth. Some might be intimidated by this Sephiroth. Many do not want to look into the Mirror of the Subconscious, they are afraid of looking behind the veil...because they are scared of what they will see. I can tell you, what you will find is not, at it's essence, scary. You are a divine beautiful wonderful Eternal Being...and you can always work to absolve yourself of the karma you accumulated in ignorance before walking the Path of the Seeker. All of the emotions, feelings and memories that you repressed are but phantoms once you know how to transmute the Shadow into the Goddess. Shadow work is tough but it is only because we often do not want to take responsibility for who we are right now in this moment...we want to look to the past for an explanation or something that exists outside of ourselves...but once you realize that what happened in the past does not define you but your actions and the Course you Char does define you...it changes everything. (Here is a Travelers Notes video on Shadow Work: https://youtu.be/F1cv5oyV_1c). Instead, many of us are comfortable working with the false personality construct we built within PMR...the Ego. That's why, the equivalent step in the Tarot Key Cards is The Tower Card where the foundation upon which the Ego that was built to perceive the world crumbles destroying the construct we have made because it is not based on Spiritual Truth. This gives us the clarity and the motivation to head out on the Path of the Seeker to help us find that Spiritual Truth so that we do not experience another Dark Night of the Soul. I hope, Brave Soul, that this in depth blog on the Sephiroth of Yesod helps you on your journey. The Hebrew letters that make the second ascending Sephiroth of Yesod, known as the 9th, are Yod, Samech, Vav, and Dalet.
Let's examine the meanings of these four letters and see if they tell us a story about this fascinating Sephioroth. The Word Yesod itself means Foundation and it is the Foundation of the Tree of Life. The reason Yesod is the Foundation and not Malkuth is because Malkuth, the Kingdom, has been 'cut off' from the Tree of Life because of the Fall. Yod The Yod is the smallest and only Hebrew letter that is suspended in the air but one of the most powerful of the Sephiroth. This letter is often associated with wisdom. Abravenel explains that all Hebrew letters contain or start with the Yod. The Tetragrammaton, YHWH, said to be the ineffable and unpronounceable name of god (translated into English as Yahweh). Both Israel and Jersualem start with the letter Yod. Hoffman explains that the Yod is, "a cosmic messenger that brings movement and change into our lives...this tiny dot traverses entire universes in a mirco-instant." Yod begins the Hebrew word for Exodus (yetziyah); This word means marching forth, rising up or leading out. Yod also begins the Hebrew word for day (yom). This indicates even the smallest events in our day can have incalculable results on all of humanity. Yod also starts the word for impulse- Yetzer. The two main impulses are Yetzer Hatov which is the impulse for selflessness and Yetzer Hara which is the impulse towards egoism. Another important Hebrew word that Yod starts is the hand (yad). Finally, the Hebrew word Yofi which translates as beauty starts with Yod. Abravanel explains: "The enjoyment of beauty creates a state of spiritual elevation." Samech Samech is a closed round letter that Abravenel associates with the glow of a candles flame. This candle flame both supports and protects helping us to trust the Divine. Begins the word Hebrew word Sephiroth that are the levels of the Kabbalah Tree of Life. The Hebrew word for ladder also starts with Samech and it is a symbol for the mystical inward path first described by Jacob with his vision of Angels. The Hebrew word for stories also starts with Samech. Stroies, Hoffman explains, have the power to wake people from their spiritual slumber by nourishing the soul. Samech also starts the Hebrew word for Symbol (Siman) that can help us better understand the Divine. Samech is also connected with dreams. A prayer known as she'eilat chalom is used to request an illuminating dream from the Divine before going to sleep. The Hebrew word Schachar, Black, starts with the letter Samech and is a metaphor for darkness. The Hebrew word Shacar, Dawn, is a metaphor for light and redemption. Vav Yesod shares only one letter with Malkuth and it's Vav. According to Daniela Abravenel, Vav is the perception of the Divine in the natural world. Vav is referred to the Hook representing Spiritual Connection to the Divine. Both Edward Hoffman and Daniela Abravanel point out that Vav consists of a vertical line connecting heaven and Earth. Hoffman states, "The straight upright form suggests that only when a person expresses uniqueness can a meaningful joining with others occur." Abravanel explains, "According to the theory of TzimTzum contracted the Divine light passes through this channel, enlivening the lower, material world." Vav is tied to the Sabbath and the importance of rest. Daniela Abravanel explains, "By resting fully once a week we can enter the depth and stillness...moving through life requires the peacefulness of allowing rather then putting all our efforts into exerting our will on the world around us." Vav is also associated with the Hebrew month of Iyar..the name of that month is composed of the abbreviation for the verse, "I am God who heals you." (Exodus 15:26). The Hebrew word for confession also begins with the word Vav (Viday). Dalet Finally, we have Dalet that in both of my sources had the shortest chapters. Both of my sources related Dalet with the four 'worlds' of the Kabbalah. These four worlds are Aziluth (emanation), Beriah (creation), Yetzerah (Formation) and Assiyah (action). I won't go into these too much here because they deserve their own study and there are a number of books just on these...but essentially think of it as Idea, Blueprints, Create and Result. Each of the Sephiroth fall within these four "worlds". Most importantly and what the letter really resembles is the word Door (delet). Dalet also begins the Hebrew word for Poor. Abravenel explains, "Experiencing poverty teaches us gratitude....The only true and sustainable wealth worth pursuing is our spirituality." Finally, Dalet also begins the word for pulse (dofek). Abravanel explains that the Kabbalah masters can discern both physical and spiritual pathologies from the pulse. This is because the 10 types of pulse come from the Sephiroth Chockmah and by knowing these patterns associated with that Sephiroth they can determine the energy from which the pulse is coming from. Summary "Divine messenger (Yod) sent into the dream (Samech) to connect (Vav) with the sleeping soul (Dalet)." A Meditation On The Visual Letter Combination Fascinatingly, just by looking at the combination of the letters in a Hebrew Word we can see a visual story. Here, we see the Yod, which has been described by Paul Foster Case as a spark cast down by the Hermits lantern. Yod's show up a lot in the Tarot card keys an always appears as sparks that are falling from above. This could be interpreted as symbolic of the undeveloped soul that descends into matter. Then we see what looks like a closed off individual. This is someone who is 'asleep' with no spiritual impulses. The letter Samech is not open to receiving the Yod. Next, we see Vav which looks like Yod with a line streaming down that "connects heaven and earth". This 'hook' stretches down from Divinity to the individual. Finally, we have Dalet which looks a little like a Vav with a stretched out Yod...where as Samech was closed off here we find an open 'door' or 'doorway.' We can interpret this two ways...the first two letters representing the 'descent' or 'involution' into PMR (physical matter reality) that all beings that pass through to Malkuth go through. When we first pass through this Sephiroth we emerge into matter and remain asleep. The second two letters represent the 'ascent' or 'evolution' out of PMR. Once we receive the 'enlightenment' of the Awakening of our inner spark (soul) that is encased in these physical vessels our soul evolves. Then we can pass through the 'open door' of Dalet. Conclusion The Hebrew letters of Yesod have many implications. Yesod is considered the doorway through which souls come and go into Physical Matter Reality. This is the Sephiroth that we go to when we die and if are hearts are found heavy we are turned back into Samsara where we must learn our lessons in our physical vessels. However, as the the Hebrew letter Samech suggests we are always protected even in physical matter reality. The story of Adam and Eve suggests as much. In the Kabbalah the story is that when Adam and Eve became ashamed the One Creator constricted himself to allow them the space to grow and become individuals so that they could...once again...return as fully matured companions. Interestingly, we can see a connection with both sleep, rest and dreams in the Hebrew letters for Yesod. This is reflective of the idea that Physical Matter Reality is just a dream, or as Krisnha explained in the Bhagavad Gita, just a reflection of the Tree of Life...and not the universe in which the tree itself resides. In fact, it is stated in many sources, not just the Kabbalah, that time moves far more quickly in the realm in which the One Creator resides...and to the One Creator the souls who are in PMR have only been a sleep for a brief moment. Just think about that, we already know that humanity has been on this planet for a short period of time when compared to the extinct dinosaurs or other species. Just as we are just a brief moment of history on this planet...all of that history is just a moment in time where we appeared to be asleep in the presence of the One Creator. First, for those who are fear based- yes, this book was published by the Golden Dawn. No I don't think the three men behind the Golden Dawn are evil.
The main reason I bought this book is because it was written by Paul Foster Case. Case has had a tremendous influence on me because he has a very down to earth approach to the mystical. He is very matter of fact and yes, he has appeared in my dreams to give me instructions. That said, this book was amazing. While not as precise as D.W. Hauck, who I've reviewed his workbook, Case's perspective on Alchemy was very much needed. He helped flesh out the concepts. His was a 12 part system instead of a 7 part system that D.W. Hauck wrote about, however, it was consist enough that I could use the two together to make my 7 stages of Alchemy YouTube videos. I have 35 tabs in this 308 page book. I had been expecting that the book would be similar to Hauck in that it would just be a break down of the process of Alchemy. However, the majority of the book is not dedicated to the Alchemical Process. The majority of the book focuses on connecting Alchemy to the process of Yoga (and the chakra system) and Kundalini (which, surprisingly, I found mentioned in all of the books from this era). There was a breakdown of information on the elements, their symbols and their roles in Alchemy. In fact, the Alchemical system was not covered in page 107 and even then, as Case covered 12 stages, they were covered in groups. The best part is that this book made all of the steps extremely accessible to the any student of Case's that had studied his books on the Tarot. Since I had such a depth of understanding of the Tarot I was able to comprehend some of the more complex or obtuse concepts of Alchemy. I really loved the fact that Case approached the subject as a scholar would quoting famous alchemists to prove his points. In many ways, it felt like he was writing something very similar to my blogs or videos. I won't quote this book because you will catch a lot of quotes from it on my 7 videos on Alchemy. All I can do is tell you to read this book because it' is definitely worth reading. This will be a constant reference as we go forward and it is a book I will probably read many times. Paul Foster Case simply understood the big picture on a grand scale and had the amazing ability to convey that information to the average person. |
