I felt as though my childhood was violated after watching this movie.
This is not a kids movie on any level. This is 100% for adults. Neither of my kids liked it...the toddler ran off to watch YouTube Kids and the infant cried when it was on TV when she woke up. Yes, this is unique (much as I felt about Doctor Strange). This is a lot like Roger Rabbit but there is a lot more to it then that. The timing was funny because of the 'Uncanny Valley' where 3D rendering didn't go so well. When they referred to the Dwarf charecter having "Polar Express" eyes I thought it was hilarious (I have never actually watched that movie becuase it looked so creepy). The Gross Peter Pan charecter was absolutely the worst. Ugly Sonic was also disturbing. I know people who loved this one though- Andre from Black Nerd Comedy and Nate from Paging Mr. Morrow. Kind of like Turning Red I think this plays on the nostalgia of adult Millenials for what they experienced as kids with a bit of adult perversion. I did tell The Husband to watch it becasue it was worth experiecinging, I guess. Yet, he thought the same thing I did...they took a beloved franchise and pooped on it. Neither of us liked the oridnary human voice for Chip and Dale. This isn't a pretty movie...it's not a movie where the charectes are improved upon...it's weird in all of the wrong ways for me. More of a weak satire about Hollywood then anything else written by industry insiders for industry insiders. I also didn't find the mix of animation pleasent. I think the only Movies that I actually like animated charecters in are Marvel Movies and Sonic.

Jackpot! What a great month and especially for manifestation!
This month is full of the sacred number (and lucky!) seven energy. The Goddess energy is high as the Moon is in her sign conjunct Lilith and Venus is as happy as a clam in her sign Taurus. This is a month for nurturing and we have the Willpower to make our thoughts reality. Astrology The New Moon is at 7 degrees of Cancer, sign of the Moon, conjunct Lilith. The 7 is one of the most spiritual numbers (7 days to make Creation and 7 chakras, etc.) This is another New Moon Cycle where we are really feeling the presence of the Goddess. This New Moon Chart has a nice balance of the elements. The planets that have caused the most frustrating tension the last two years are greatly diminished in power this month. Saturn and Pluto are both retrograde. Neptune is also stationary...so this Moon Cycle Uranus has free rein. Aries still has the greatest concentration of planets (Jupiter, Chiron Eris and Mars) so we are still swimming in that energy of intiation. In fact, Mars and Eris will be conjunct this New Moon. That said Jupiter in Aries is the most active planet this month. Jupiter is creating some tension by squaring the Sun and Moon while sextiling Venus. Jupiter is also square Lilith so while we have this energy of a New Beginning it's not wild energy. Jupiter, the Collective, is not happy with all of this feminine energy (not surprising given the submissive role he gave Hera). Venus, is in Gemini with Mercury right now so our hearts and minds are really distracted from the big picture by the details. This is one of those mega can't see the forest for the trees moments. Saturn, meanwhile is trining Mercury and sextiling Mars in Aries. These are both supportive energies. Our minds are on innovative new ideas. Pluto in Capricorn is Square Mars in Aries and forming a supportive Sextile to Neptune in Pisces. Our willpower may be changed by something ending on the Collective level and perhaps even in the media. Chiron is square the Sun and Moon while sextiling Mercury. Thinking about our Wounds may cause us to push away the nurturing energy of this cycle. We need to remember it's OK to accept love and healing. Hebrew Letter: Chet Vibrant health and vitality. This letter starts one of my favorite Hebrew words that means life: Chai. This letter also starts the Hebrew word for Dream. Finally, it starts the Sephiroth on the Tree of life that stands for the Divine Masculine: Chockmah. This letter, according to Lotterhand, stands for Fence. Without a barrier that defines ourselves and individuality we would not have a sense of self. Tarot Card: The Chariot Key 7 7 is the number of spiritual completion. This is the summation of the first 6 cards that describe the aspects of personality. This is the middle path of the self and shows emancipation. The Charioteer has mastered desire mind with the sphinx representing liking and disliking. Indigenous Moon: Hot Sun Moon Grandfather Sun is at his full strength. This is the time when children play as plant roots grow deep and they begin to mature revealing the fruit they will bear. Medicene Card: Grouse 34 Another 7 energy. This is another repeated energy from March so we may be revisiting similar events or have similar experiences only this time Grouse is upright. This is the spiral dance. This is our connection to spirit and provides visions from the Great Spirit. Tools Now this is the month to use a money draw grid. For incense I'm going to use Hand of Fatima (Fatima's story is about manifestation), For Water I'm going to use my Blue Lotus perfume to honor the Goddess and I will use a Blue candle in honor of watery Cancer (my Sun Sign). Green Aventurine Generator: A heart chakra stone that promotes fertility, growth and abundance. Congo Citrine: A solar plexus stone that attracrs prosperity and abundance. I'm using two to boost this energy. Jade: The stone of luck, prosperity and abundance. Malachite: A heart chakra stone that is known for feminie healing, Goddes energy, recognition of patterns and living a hearted centered life. Peridot Chips: A manifestation stone that opens you to infinite possibilities. Carnelian Chips: Carnelian is a stone of pure energy and will provide some extra energy to the manifestation process. Quartz Points- For amplification and direct the energy out of the grid into the four directions. Conclusion This is a great month for manifestation. If you want to undertake a new venture this is a great time to do it. The energy is extremely supportive. For me Grouse is the only reason I will be a little cautious. Grouse always causes me complications and I tend to get caught up with messages from Spirit. I will, therefore, be carrying a piece of petrified wood in my medicene bag this month. On the Collective level, however, this is fantastic energy. Up To Date Final Thoughts This blog was written in 2021. This New Moon is incredible, which is not surprisingsince we have the Grouse card, again. We have the presence of the Triple Goddess- Maid, Mother and Crone present with the Divine Masculine. On a symbolic level it is interesting that the Sun is at it's peak strength (Summer Solstice) in the watery sign of Motherhood (Cancer). A.C. Farjahd demonstrates that the New Moon is actually a Crone who is healed, returning to a maid and will go on to be the Mother during the Full Moon. The exchange of Feminie and Masculine energy on the New Moon is also symbolic of the act of creation- not only renewing the Feminine but also procreation. Conjunct the New Moon is Black Moon Lilith who Chris from SiriusJoy describes as all of our greatest fear. Literally, this Shadow Aspect is going to be healed and integrated with the help of the Divinr Masculine. In Aries Mars is Conjunct his sister Eris, again, representing the balance and cooperation of the Masculine and Feminine. The bananas part is how many of the asteroid Goddesses are also in Cancer receiving this healing Feminine New Moon Energy in the sign of the Mother. This list is per Anastasia The Cosmic Astrologer: Asteroid Lilith, Ceres, Hygeia, Vesta, Juno, Persephone, Astraea* and Isis. In addition Mercury and Venus are in the sign of Gemini together, although, they are not conjunct. They are a good distance apart...but again the divinr siblings are sharing the same house. This is a powerful healing moment foe the Divine Feminine that has been on quite the journey. Personally A lot happened during the last Moon Cycle. My entire family was sick for two weeks. The Husband was sent home for a week because of a runny nose. He was tested three times for Coronavirus and never tested positive. Our kitchen was invaded by ants when the day after the Solstice we had a rare and awe inspiring Thunder storm. I had incredibly powerful dreams about the Divine Masculine. In particular, when researching the Magician, in one dream the Divine Masculine gave me a red plastic Easter Egg and when I opened it I discovered a red rose. I haven't encountered the cat being that was pleased to know I was "seeking" it. I find it funny that I have had two black cats and the image of a black cat on Egyptian papyrus (not a real artifact but a modern recreation) on my altar. I never gave that any thought to it, I do believe cats can perceive on a supernatural level, so the image (intuitively chosen and sent to me by Sage Goddess- I ordered three and the other two were Goddesses including Isis) never really meant more to me then that...looking it up I realized there is a female cat Goddess (and yes the being I encountered was female) named Bast. I can't claim ignorance about Bast. She wad a prominent figure in the Marvel Black Panther movie. Although, I didn't connect it to a regular black household cat or Egypt. So, that was a fascinating rabbit hole to explore and wonder over. I've been listening to Hemi-Synch and Bi-Neural Delta waves to fall asleep quickly to take advantage of times when I can sleep. Finally, you may think women have been dealt a blow by Roe Vs Wade and think it odd that this moment of full Goddess energy is a healing one. I believe, after holding the hand of a five month infant- that abortion is wrong unless the mothers life is in danger. This healing New Moon is in the sign of the Mother. In extreme pro-life states like California it will still be legal. This decision going back to the states is huge but it's part of a bigger pattern. Over the last fifty to seventy years the Human Collective had started to solidify again and harden into a Global United States Empire that was unquestioned. That pattern would have led to a dead end. Earth's purpose is to rapidly develop individuality through a plethora of 'very real' choices. Thankfully, a break up and the re-emphasis of the individual- personally, state, and nationally is underway. Globalism is dead. Either way, I only had the briefest moment to share this! I'm going into a very busy period of time including my 40th birthday! I do want to touch on two other things briefly. First, the amount of people that didn't show up for the entire collective last Full Moon was crazy. Coyote Star, Leo King, Sirius Joy, Anastasia The Cosmic Astrologer, Cassie Spires (she's been knocked out for awhile and doesn't do Astrology related things) and even Acuyta Bhava Das didn't cover the Full Moon. Spiritual fatigue is strong this year and a lot of people just don't have the energy to give. Second, entertainment wise I have feminism fatigue. Too many female charecters over shadowing the men with semi-interrsting stories. I didn't like the Obi Wan series and that review should post shortly. I've decided I am not going to see Jurassic World or Thor Love and Thunder in theaters. After we see Maverick in theaters sometime soon (we were sick when we were supposed to go and had other kid focused plans for Father's Day weekend) that may be the end of the theatrical visits we make this year. I am really enjoying Ms. Marvel, however, so that is a plus. Even better, the Husband didn't like it (he didn't have a Pakistani Muslim best friend as I did in High Scool). So, I don't have to go through the usual hoops to watch it (waiting until he gets home and the two Littles are asleep. I just watch it in middle of the day with the kiddos. I haven't previewed or really know for certain what else comes out this year and I'm not sure I'll have time to really look because I will be very busy. References: Perakis, Athena. The great news is that Quartz is very common- clear quartz not as much- but it's one of the easiest and cheapest stones that you can get your hands on. At the heart of most grids that people make is a clear quartz stone because it amplifies everything that it is around. Further, clear quartz can be programmed, it has a very chameleon like ability, so that it can act as any other stone. Some people wear it for protection but I've never used it for that (I prefer Smoky Quartz if I'm trying to absorb negativity) and it is a stone that needs to be routinely cleaned. The Edgar Cacye A.R.E. just released a wonderful video on Clear Quartz: https://youtu.be/VgPmGb0a3RE
In meditation I saw Cancer Season being like a beautiful sparkling clear wave of energy wiping the slate clean energetically in that almost ciolent wave. I grew up by the ocean. I remember the first time I walked into the ocean when the waves were particularly high and trying to swim. I was taught to dive into the wave. With goggles on it's a stange experience. You are hit by tremendous pressure that tries to pull you with it and you have to force yourself through sheer will power through the wave.. with goggles on you see the wall of water and the bubbles as it hits you...you're hair and bathing suit are pulled back and up feeling very chaotic...but then you break through the other side feeling purified and it's serene and if you are far enough out you can float up on top of the wave. That's what I feel we are going to go through this Cancer Season. With the Triple Goddess Power and the double balanced Masculine/Feminine energy of the Cancer New Moon on June 29th...transformation via our Greates Fears is going to happen and it will be fierce. This is the first season I've decided to celebrate Summer Solstice. This is more of a meditation then anything else. I will be meandering a little here and there on the subject.
I want to explain why I'm celebrating the Holiday the way that I am instead of the way that Litha appears (based on a very shallow perception of it) to celebrate it. Like many people I've never focused to o much on Summer Solstice. In fact, I had a very warped perception of Seasons thinking the height of Winter should be at Christmas. Most of us are well aware of Winter Solstice because it is so closely associated with the most popular holiday worldwide- Christmas. After all, Agnostics and Athiests- the prevalent world view at the moment- deem anything Mystic as insane. To them our world is mechanical, the only one with intelligent life and (ultimately) pointless chaos (Y.O.L.O- You Only Livr Once). Hence why the RuPaul Philosophy of throw out the concept of gender completely became a thing. Only a hopelessly confused society could make that there highest form of philosophy and concept of self-realization, "All of life is a construct in the brain so nothing really exists, there is no Natural Order, and therefore I can be whatever I want." Let's get back to what I want to talk about... There are boatloads of information on Christmas and it's origin...but because so few find Summer Solstice worth while there is very little. The prevailing idea that I've heard people share is that the Winter Solstice is the victory of the Light over the Dark. The Sun, meaning the one at the center of the Galaxy, from the Earth Perspective is re-born and starts regaining strength after the shortest day of the year. I personally associate the 4th of July (and as a Cancer Sun Sigb, my birthday) as a celebration of the Solstice. This has some interesting implications which I will cover a little later. I recently read a book called, "The Mystery of the Sleeping Goddess," based on the healing of the daughter of Jarius by Jesus in the New Testament. In some ways, and I'll cover this in a review eventually, it has completely changed how I view the Moon Cycle. What I find really interesting is that the only Holiday I really know that's associated with Summer Solstice is Litha. That "pagan" holiday. A quick Google search says that it's borrowed from "many" cultures. Again, it's something I should probably look into a little more. Based on what I know of Litha, however, just like the Winter Solstice in is a celebration of the Sun being at it's strongest point. Again, the Winter Solstice is celebrated as the re-birth of the Sun. The Summer Solstice, in the form of Litha, celebrates the peak strength of the Sun, that, after that point starts to lose it's strength. The Sun and Moon Now, from a very dualistic judgemental position the "light" is good and the "dark" is bad. Therefore, the Sun- our primary source of light- is celebrated but the Moon is not. I am not of that mind set. The biggest takeaway I had from "The Mystery of the Sleeping Goddess," was the relationship between the Sun and Moon. Essentially, the Sun (Jesus) commands the Moon to rise. While the author, A.C. Farajani mostly connects this with the Full Moon on a particular date in history and briefly mentions that it may have something to do with the Solstice, think, makes the most sense. The idea is that the Sun has traveled into the West that is the land of the dead and where the Moon lives. There he takes the Moon by the Hand and commands her to rise. In the Book they suggest that the result is the Full Moon. However, it makes much more sense that as the Sun starts to wane in power in the Summer Solstice that he hands off the "torch" per se to the girl to bear while he's gone. Many Moon Goddeses and Goddess in general are considered "Torch Bearers" (most famously Hecate that represents the three phases of the Moon- just as any Triplicity does) or in the case of Brigid- the Keeper of the Flame. A.C. Farajani explains in the book how the Sun relates to stories where the God/Groom chases the Moon across the Sky but the Goddess dies before the nuptials. As the Sun sees his imminent waning power he lovingly returns the Moon to life. Then, in return she grants her power of re-birth to him in the Spring. A Powerful Exchange Of The Masculine and Feminine Energy What I see in the Dance of the Solstice is a beautiful mythic story where the Sun gives his energy to the Moon who then restores his life/power instead of merely celebrating the Sun's strength twice a year. In his book Laird Scranton, "Seeking the Primordial," explains that there are numerous symbological references to two "universes" in myths throughout the world that exchange energy...one becoming "locked in" while the other is active. While, it seems, he thinks that this is literally two different Dimensions...it may have to do with more of an Agraian ideology. I don't want to reduce this doen simply to humans explaining natural cycles. I believe that there is much more at work. Yet, this is one way to look at the symbolisim. While investigating the Venus descent into the Underworld this year I realized that the Moon is similar. "Death" occurs for the Moon every Dark Moon phase before the New Moon where the Moon is reborn. The Moon experiences the cycle of life and death far more quickly- every Month- then the Sun that experiences it once a year. Yet, as symbolized by Ishtar and Persephone the Moon "rules" over the world half a year- Fall and Winter. What is interesting is we indirectly worship the Goddess when the reborn Sun emerges from the womb in Spring at Easter...ironically when the Sun is halfway up it's ascent of power. Again, it appears that humanity is a very sun-centric society...the "hidden" Mystery being that the Sun lovingly hands over the torch to the Moon for two seasons. This balance of Masculine and Feminine is absolutely Divine. I find it almost like Romeo and Juliet. With this exchange of energy the Sun and Moon keep each other alive in an endless exchange where they only have brief meetings. At the Peak of it's energy the Sun passes the power to the Moon who starts her ascent to greatest power as he experiences his descent of power. The Conscious and Subconscious On an individual level we have the exchange of the Conscious and Subconscious. When we are awake (Conscious) we fuel our bodies and when we are asleep (Subconscious) our bodies use that energy to renew our bodies. Further, if you begin Consciosuly working with the Subconscious and bringing it more and more into Consciousness the "two" become one. I can, and will, in the review of the Mystery of the Sleeping Goddess bookBook go further into depth on this subject. I may re-read it before doing a full in depth analysis but there is a lot more that I could dsay but I don't have the time right now. Coming Of Age I'm considering this the year of the Divine Marriage. Symbolically I've changed my Altar with the representation of the Divine Masculine and Divine Feminine. Synchronicity after synchronicity has happened that really brought this into my consciousness. From dreams about "working" with the Divine Masculine, to living a more valanced approach between giving and receiving in my own life, and merely the astrology...this is the defining energy for me on a personal level (I'm not really seeing it in on a society level). For example, Uranus means "Sky" and it is in the "Earth" sign of Taurus that literally represents the planet itself...and all of the myths have the Earth and Sky married to each other and having kids. Meaning, even as we have seeming chaos on Earth- famines and such which arare very much tied to those myths of Persphone being captured by the Underworld- there is actually a "fertilization" hat's happening...a seed is being planted for the Age of Aquarius that A.C. Farjani associates with the Moon's Resurrection. Tying into this is the Collective Narrative of Coming To Age stories. Turning Red, Ms. Marvel and even Maverick are symbolic of people reaching a point in their lives where they have "grown up." The Sleeping Goddess, whether it's A.C. Farajani talking about the Moon or David Warner Mathisen talking about the Constellation of Virgo...is always a young teenage girl. In the story with Jesus she is 12 years old...the point of puberty. An old joke about women and their monthly period tied to the Moon is, "I don't trust anything that bleeds and doesn't die." A woman's womb, like the Moon, renews itself every Month. This is one of the reasons that the Moon is usually symbolized as Feminine. I could go deeper with the sbolisim but I think I've said enough. **** One of the synchronicities that I experienced is wanting to make a grid that would stay on my altar in honor of the union of the Masculine and Feminine. Strangely Sage Goddess offered a Charginf Plate with Shiva and Shakti which was perfect. The set was sold to represent sex, which is funny because the raising of Shakti in males represents the sublimation of sexual desire, (Athena, it seems, thinks that in women the raising of Shakti leads to Sexual desire). I'm not going to suse the exact grid that came with the plate...but what IveI've decided is to make a different grid every Summer and Winter Solstice with the plate. Conclusion In essence, the Summer and Winter Solstices represent a moment similar to the New and Full Moon on the time scale of the Sun. For now, until I find further information I'm treating the Summer Solstice similar to the Full Moon...a time of Receptivity/Meditation and the Winter Solstice as the time of Action/Prayer
There was a fascinating trend in 2009. There were a lot of songs about being "Awake". Now, this was about the time I was experiencing my spiritual Awakening so it was very synchronistic*.
There was a lot of talk about the Goddess Awakening and what it meant. As someone with a predominately Christian background and in the Western Culture that saw Polytheism as primitive (Monotheisim was conveyed as superior and no belief in divinity as the ultimate accomplishment and obvious conclusion of logic)...it created a lot of Disannonce. I literally threw out the concept of the Goddess when I first came across it...I saw it as some weak attempt at women trying to assert their dominance over men in the world (I always felt that was unnecessary). Only people who perceive themselves as Weak feel the need to be authoritarian. Now that I comprehend that Divinity can be One and yet Many I see this subjcet from many perspectives and very differently. I went through seveal phases of understanding to reach the level that I am at now. I went from believing in one male God...to understanding that there are many aspects of God on many levels of existence that are all One. The Goddess is one of those Aspects, albeit a huge one, and so I'll try to break all of this down as best I can. I understand why and how the Divine Feminine was literally destroyed by humanity at one point. That was a neccesary phase to go from the belief in a Panethon to Monotheisim...from the Many becoming the One. John Van Auken does a great job of linking the Ages (Pisces, etc) with religious developments. When you get into this you start seeing the same pattern being repeated on every level of being (and if you don't stay grounded you can litereally go bananas when you hit that point because being stuck only seeing the pattern and not being able to shut it off or pan back the camera for a more inclusive perspective is not good). Let's start off with how women's Collective Conscious has changed over the years, then the Astrology, and finally into the Esoteric. Women's Sufferage To Girl Power Womens Sufferage, where women fought for the right to vote started in 1820's but it wasn't until 1920 that they earned the right to vote. The Women's Liberation movement was started in 1946. Yet, it wouldn't be until the 1960's and 1970's that women would hold regular jobs in the workplace. My Great Grandma on my mother's side, only worked in factories during the World War. My Grandma on my mother's side (her daughter) only took temporary jobs when the family needed extra money (disposable income) to do something (such as take a vacation). In the eighties women fully entered the work place and worked full time. This changed the economy and the family dynamics. Women had more independence and with twice the incomes as before households had more Disposable Income. In most cases at this time successful business women could afford nannies and maids to help with the domestic responsibilities. By the time I graduated from High School not only was it expected that I would work Full Time but that I also needed a College Degree to secure a worthwhile job and avoid becoming a "burger flipper" as my Honors English Teacher liked to say. Yet, women were expected to work Full Time and perform all of the domestic duties/household chores because inflation had driven up the prices for everything. Growing up there were mostly white male role models. The exception was in the comics where there were female superheros but in series like the X-Men they were supporting charecters and none were blonde like me (in fact it was implied that all blondes were moronic shallow airheads). Then came the Spice Girls who were both confident and sexy. There was Sporty who was kind of guy-ish but she still had nice nails and wore makeup. The Spice World Movie was the high point of that movement and then The PussyCat Dolls was the end (1998- 2005). Strong sexy women who were not lesbians or trying to be guys. A lot of men were all for this type of female empowerment. The women were sexy, took care of themselves and most men were more then happy with the idea of the woman contributing more financially... maybe they wouldn't have to work as hard or at all....and that's where the confusion really started because a lot of the men didn't want to be the main bread winner but they didn't want to do the domestic chores either. They wanted the classic women take care of the family and the home but also wanted them to work full time. #MeToo and Feminisim The Feminine Collective Consciousness would dramatically change in 2016 and return to the "Power" message in a very different way thanks to Hillary Clinton losing the Presidential race. Women turned out to protest Trumps election in droves. The vague reasons for this was that they were convinced Trump was a chauvinist and that he had somehow stolen the election from Hillary because the Media assumed Hillary would be the winner in a landslide. Most of these were Millenials. They grew up with the Girl Power movement and had been conditioned to believe they were the most important generation that would save the world. I covered this in my blog on Millenial's. The #MeToo movement would follow in 2017 where women in all industries came forward with their stories of sexual harassment. This heralded women organizing on a political level to advocate for change and a change in their perception of acceptable behavior. This has set up a bit of a paradox where women want to look sexy to attract a partner but don't want to be sexualized...it's very confusing. Some of the ugliest feminine trends have ensued- instead of showing off well earned gray hair- that I call wisdom strands- they did terrible hair fake hair dye jobs (I don't like fake hair that much- fake blondes were bad but fake gray hair is so much worse)- women started wearing asexual clothes that made them look like boys or look like they are wearing sacks. Morbidly overweight women became models- an extreme over-reaction and over-correction from the anorexic flat breasted/butt asexual women that were the prevalent models in the nineties. I quite honestly don't think women really know how we want to be protrayed, as a group, at the moment. You have the High Maintenance women who want to spend a lot of money looking sexy (hair, nails, clothes, makeup) yet many don't want kids or to work. Then you have the women who try to be men complete with pant suits that are focused on their careers and even if they have kids want free child care (Pre-k)so they don't have to raise them. Then there are the insane women who try to balance part time work, raising kids and domestic chores. Then, there are traditional women who want to be stay-at-home- Mom's who are almost universally hated by the other types of women. Some of those don't want to do the domestic chores or try to be attractive either but expect their husband to pay for everything they want. The LBGTQ Movement This is where things get even more complicated. Yet, I think it does play a role in the story. I honestly think more souls incarnated as gay to help raise the Goddess energy. By Women balancing their Feminine by displaying Masculine traits and Men balancing their Masculine out by displaying Feminine traits I think they are contributing to the balancing of the Divine Masculine and Feminine. Trying to eliminate gender completely, however, is not part of the Natural Order. Our part of Creation was made in pairs and gender is simply part of the experience. There is some indication that this is unique to our neck of Creation but it's what gave rise to Humanity's ability to individualize. Trying to drive our society towards gender neutrality- where no one identifies as male or female- leads to stagnation and a genetic dead end. Not to mention it makes trying to breed very difficult. Dating is complicated enough I don't think we need to add in even more ambiguitiy and I'm not for arranged marriages or social engineering on any level. The Astrology Now, let's look at the Astrology. Specifically, I want to look at our 9th Planet Eris (11th, the number for unity and the Awakening if you go by classic astrology and include the Sun and Moon as 'Wanderers' the original meaning of the word Planet). Eris is literally called the Feminie Awakener. Originally, the planet was called Xena and her moon Gabriel but that was changed to Eris...the Goddess of Chaos that was not invited to a wedding so she threw in an apple during the celebration like a grenade with the words, "To the Fairest of them all," that led Hera, Venus and Artemis starting the events that would lead to the Trojan War. The saying goes that when a new planetary body is discovered a new level of the Collective Consciousness has been achieved...or in other words that the Collective Consciousness has evolved. For a long time it was believed that Saturn was the furthest planet in our Solar System. That's why Uranus is considered the planet of Awakening, Chaos and Revolution...because boundaries were pushed when it was discovered in 1781 (the year of the siege of Yorktown and the Revolutionary War). Neptune was discovered in 1846 which was also the start of the Mexican American War. The Year Pluto was discovered was the 1930 and the start of the Great Depression. Of course, those are all related to the United States but it's significant. Eris entered Aries in 1923- not long after women gained the right to vote. In 1946 Eris was at 5 degrees of Aries. Now this is a VERY slow moving planet so every degree counts. Four is balance and five is change...and that's when women finally had the ability to hold a job. Eris was discovered in 2005 at 19 degress of Aries while in Retrograde...aligning perfectly with the final act of the Girl Power Movement. In 2016 she was at 22 Degrees of Aries in Retrograde (that had started October 29)...when Trump became prsident. Fascinatingly, she went retrograde June 20, 2020 (the number for Duality) and then started going direct again January 2021. One of the things that stood out about the end of 2020 was there really wasn't much 'girl power' going on then. She then went retrograde on July 21 2021 (3 energy, growth-multiplication) and will go direct again on March 22, 2022 (4, Balance). Intersetingly, in this retrograde gap is when there was a return of very classic masculine archetypes to the Big Screen- Indiana Jones, Maverick and even Matrix 4. Then when she goes direct we experience the very big year that I'm calling "An Alternate Power Structure" theme because the majority of main charecters are either Black, Middle Eastern or Female. I just found that really strange. You can check that out for yourself here: https://thewitchesalmanac.com/ephemeris-for-eris/ The Esoteric Women are naturally plugged into the Divine Feminine Consciousness. Men are naturally plugged into the Divine Masculine Consciousness. Yet, things are not really that simple. On a Soul level gender really doesn't exist, although, most souls develop a preference for one or the other which is (along with their experiences) one of the things that make them unique. We can choose to play different genders in lives which may be one of the causes that leads to being attracted to the sam gender or, in the case of souls that are new or come from genderless dimensions may make them feel as though they identify with neither gender. Yet, gender, perhaps a happy 'mistake' that happened in our neck of Creation is one of the things that makes being human unique, difficult and accelerates indivudalization. On The Individual Level We are all made, energetically, in the image of the Creator (Kether) That's why the Kabbalah Tree of Life (the blue print of Creation) can be superimposed over the body and correlates with the Western Chakra System. Binah (Mother Nature/Creation) and Chockmah (The Word, The Son...the being Jesus claimed to be and embody) both exist at the Third Eye/Brow Chakra level (hence associated with Conscious states of mind) That is why we are told to turn Inward and "Know Ourselves" to know the Creator (Kether). By knowing ourselves we come to know and understand the Creator. Part of the Spiritual Path is Awakening the Goddess within. This is referred to as Shakti, Kundalini and even Shekinah. I believe this aspect is already active in women which is why more women are Spiritual than men and in the male traidtions they are told that they must 'make themselves like a woman' it does not mean they need to become gay and be submissive but Awaken their Kundalini. Women can still learn a lot by learning to deliberately work with and direct this energy on a conscious level. The Kundalini energy is subconscious and instinctual but like Shadow Work it can be brought ino the light of our consciousnes where it is integrated. The energy is sometimes referred to as the "Animal Soul" or "Lower Mind." In fact, this energy rests in our Shadow and in order to raise this energy to our consciousness we have to work through the blocks in our chakras first unless we want to blow our entire spiritual system like an overloaded electric grid (Shadow Work). Then we consciously elevate it through our energetic system/body until it reaches the level of the Return- aka Kether/Crown Chakra. Before that energy can return to the Creator (Kether/Crown Chakra)we must unite the Masculine and Feminine leading to wholeness (not physical marriage that was created in it's image). This union is achieved when a person knows how to work with their subconscious through ritual creating a reciprocal relationship between the Conscious and Subconscious. In Edgar Cacye's work when souls first became encapsulated in the Animal Body children were taken from their parents to be raised communaly. However, it was discovered that it was preferable that children were raised by their parents and that those parents were monogamous so that the outer reality reflected the process of what needed to happen on the inner level (the union of Masculine and Feminine). In a way by being in male/female relationships (and incarnating as both and developing a preference for one or the other) we were literally physically embodying what we needed to do on an energetic spiritual level. When we bring the two together male (Active Principal/Consciousness/Chokhamah/Fool-Hermit Tarot Cards) and female (receptive principal/subconsciousness/Binah/High Priestess-Empress Tarot Cards) on our mental plane of existence that Union leads to the birth of a New Consciousness on the Spiritual Level (Judgement Tarot Card) that is neither male or female (The World Tarot Card). Bigger Picture If on an individual level we must "Awaken The Goddess" (Kundini/Shakti energy) Subconscious spiritual energy what does that mean on the Divine Scale? Is the Divine Feminie "sleeping" on that level of existence? My research and understanding is that yes, she was...and it was only when many people raised that energy on the individual level that she "Awakened"...or maybe I should say attained Beingness. Binah All of this comes back to the relationship of the two prime energies that created our part of Creation...Binah and Chohkmah. In Genesis the self-aware light (Chohkmah) hovers over the waters of the Deep (Binah). This is the first act of Creation. What does that make Binah, really? Binah is the watery reflection of Chokhmah. Correlating the Chakras and the Kabbalah Tree of Life diagram...both Chokhmah and Binah reside at the Third Eye or Brow level of existence which is why those who embody Femine energy think differently then those who embody Masculine energy. In Genesis The Light of Chokhmah works with this watery reflection, Binah, to form Creation. In Tarot Binah is depicted as the High Priestess (Maiden) and the Empress (Mother) (there is also a hidden Crone energy that the Tarot does not depict). All forms of water in the Tarot flow from Binah. She flows through much of the Tarot holding it together as one cohesive whole. That is why Binah is considered the Matrix or Creation itself...again...a thing- not a self-aware individualized being like Chokhmah. Perhaps, this has to do with the Sleeping Goddess motif. There in lies the distinction. The cards depicting Binah (High Priestess and Empress) and Chokhmah (The Fool and The Hermit) do not show them together. In the esoteric teachings we exist within the watery depths of Binah. This may be why the symbol of the Fish (the Hebrew Letter Nun that also means Sprout and is associated with the Death Card) and Fish Hook (the Hebrew letter Tzadi-The Star Card in the Tarot and related to the process of Creation) are important enough to be a part of the 21 Hebrew Letters. Our Souls, when they become individualized whole beings by following the same process of individualization as the Creator (The Path of the Seeker) are 'fished out of' Binah (Creation) which may be why Jesus (Yeshua) taught his disciples how to be "Fishers of Men" (Matthew 4:19). Further, this explains why the Creator is not a part of the Creation. (In Tzimtzum it is an act of contraction that creates space for mankind to exist independently). This correlates with the Hindu idea that two Tree of Life's exists and one is the watery reflection of the other. Also, in the Hindu tradition Physical Material Reality (a Thomas Campbell term) is a mercy. This also correlates with the Feminine being the Moon that has no light of it's own but reflects the light of the Sun. The Moon is often described as a "dead lifeless thing" because no chemical reactions are happening there. The effect of the sun's light on it (New and Full Moon) is what gives the Moon Life. The Sun is seen as alive and dynamic because there is constant activity happening there from chemical reactions. There is an entire field of science dedicated to tracking Sun activity. The Purpose of Creation...of Binah? So, ultimately I believe that the motivation for the Creator to Create mankind (starting with the Word, that actually Incarnated as Adam) was for us to be companions. John Van Auken explains this best in this video (https://youtu.be/QNfno7B-E-M). So, if we take what we have learned along our Journey of the Path of the Seeker where we had to Awaken the slumbering Subconscious (the Goddess) because it is truly and rightfully the companion of the Consciousness to be 'reborn' on a Spiritual level...and apply it to the Creator in whom's image we were made... Not only was the Goddess (often called Mother Nature) sleeping but she was not an Individualized Being or Companion to the Creator. So the Goddess Awakening - the Reflection-Binah- in the water reacting independently from the original to Chokhmah (The Word)- is a totally and shocking new stage of Creation. No doubt the most shocked is Chokhmah that had created using Binah as a tool but who must deal with her as a being now. That stage of Creation where the Goddess went from unaware reflection to aware independent being would not be possible without her children...humanity. That is why we are at a time in history where no one really knows what is going to happen...and where we can say that Kether (Source/The Father/The Ultimate Creator) is the only one who does know. There does seem to be a very poorly unorganized group trying to direct this new direction of humanity to benefit themselves. I find comfort in the fact that no one, organized or not, can over-ride the Natural Order, Divine Will or Divine Plan. All of this was determined a long time ago and no amount of plotting at the current time can change it. By contracting Kether created both Binah and Chohkmah (the first division much like the division of a cell) setting everything that would occur according to th Divine Plan into motion including, ultimately, the planets (and to some degree asteroids although I'm not into those as much but they are interesting). Well, hundreds of asteroids have been located beyond Eris in our Solar System representing hundreds of new perceptions for the Collective Consciousness and even a brand new asteroid was found close to the sun (Vulcan of the estoeric tradition perhaps?)...which as I see as the unleashing of this new Multiverse (paralled with that concept now being in the Mainstream Conscious awareness thanks to Marvel). Conclusion Similar to Rey in Star Wars Eris represents a balance returning to our nature of reality. There was an imblance with the patriarchy. Now the Divine Masculine and Divine Femine need to work out their relationship with one another...which is what Aquarius is all about. The sign for Aquarius looks like an equal sign and turned on it's side it is 11...the number for unity but at the same time reprsenting two beings. Even though Aquarius is an Air Sign (Divine Masculine- Chockmah is both Air East and Fire- South) it's symbol consists two water wavy lines (Binah is Water-West). As above, so below- as the Hermetic Text states. I've explained in my medicene wheel posts that the 1st direction if Air represnts the first stage of the Creative process- conceiving the idea. The second direction is the stage of Fire- acting on that idea. The Third stage of water where the form is shaped/perfect and Earth is the result. This is the perfect example of how the Masculine and Femine should work together. We kind of know how the Creative Process will continue on the level fo Binah and Chockmah on the Tree of Life...but how it will play out on Earth is still a mystery. According to Bashar this process is literally creating new levels of Creation and that's why so many other civilizations are watching us now. Every Hebrew Letter has layers of meaning and implications. I love how this one ties into the Magician Tarot Card.
The two most important aspects of the Letter Beit is that it starts the word for Blessing and it is associated with the House. The latter is very interesting as Laird Scranton had demonstrated that the world over treated the organization of a house in the form of a woman. The Hearth being the heart for example. Edward Hoffman explains that Beit represents the Primal receptive Feminine energy and that the universal home is the infinite womb of fertility from which everything is born and is nourished. The Hebrew words for the temple, places of study, social gathering and the word for prayer all start with the letter Beit. Prayer is like a Seed that we plant, it is the setting and sharing of an intention...a desire...with the Divine. A womb, when you think on it, is like a Garden. A seed, just like in a field, is planted in the womb where it grows. The mind is also like a garden...but here we associate the womb/field like nature to the part of the mind known as the Subconscious. In Psychology the power of intention and the Subconscious is embodied on the proven existence of the Self-fulfilling Prophecy. When we take a belief deep within us we subconsciously act in a way that makes the belief our reality- it's not outer reality that is making a Self-fulfilling Prophecy true for us...it's our every day actions (most of which people under go like zombies never weighing or measuring the meaning of their actions- this is why an average persons day to day activities tells you a lot about their state of mind). The Magician Lotterhand describes the Magician as, "Standing in a house of his desires." The Magician, in the Waite and Case versions of the card, is literally standing in the Womb. The red flowers that surround him- on the Arbor above and the garden below represents Desire...this is the Masculine Principal standing in the Womb of Desire. Lotterhand explains that there is no magic higher then the will and behind will stands Desire (symbolized by the Fool setting out to have experiences). The Magician, Beit And Mercury Here is where things become a bit more interesting and fascinating. Case explains that Mercury/Hermes is associated with the House because he is Hiram the Builder from Free Masonry. The information about building houses (again the ancient practice was to build homes in the form of a Sleeping Goddess- by far the most prevalent archetype around the world) came from Mercury. Of course, the most basic meaning that the planet Mercury represents is the Mind. Knowing that Mercury is a Builder...reminds me of what Edgar Cacye said often, "Mind is the Builder." Case explains, "Mercury...only the messenger of a Divinity higher then himself...the channel not the source." Pg 39 This is in accordance with the fact that when you start to meditate you quickly realize that your thoughts- which Mercury represent- are not you. They are the 'messenger' of the self but not the actual self. Some people think in words, some people think in pictures and some people think in both (I'm in the latter category). Even more interesting is when Case comments, "The horizontal eight is an ancient symbol for Hermes." Hermes, of course, along with Thought is the same God as Mercury. Now in the blog I wrote about the Magician Waite notes that this ancient symbol was also used to represent Christ. Keep in mind Christ is a title, not an actual name, which means anointed. If we combine both Mercury and Christ it would mean Anointed Consciousness. The title of anointed goes back to the process of Kings being anointed on the head in expensive oil that smelled good by priests as a sign of royalty. If you take this visual/smell based symbol it represents the thoughts being pleasantly fragrant. A ruler, hopefully, is inspired and has thoughts that benefit all of his people. Anointing is also a form of Blessing which brings us back to the Hebrew Letter Beit/Beth that starts the word for Blessing. In the classic story for why Beit and not Alef started the Hebrew bible is because it starts the world Blessing. Finally, Case explains that Mercury is concerned with making a house that is not built with physical hands or on the physical plane of existence. Lotterhand explains that the House being built is Personality. As a Mother I can say for certain babies have their own quirks from day one. They don't come out a blank slate. They have very clear preferences. Yet, the first few years of our lives we are building the foundation for our sense of self or the personality. Then we really make huge choices regarding ourselves in our teens and very inflexible people never change them (the people really stuck in their High School years are those who were most succesful/popular then). Of course, this goes to the quote from Jesus that warns against building a house on sand bI ecause it will inevitably fall. The idea of a strong Foundation and Foundation Stone is very important when building. There are often public Freemason rituals of laying Foundation Stones for an important project. I worked with the concept when I built 'walls' of boxes when working at UPS. We had a foundation package for the wall. If you chose a weak box- one that gave too much- the entire wall would fall...not to mention the box itself would be absolutely destroyed. When creating a 'personality' or sense of self it's important to have a strong foundation. Without it, should (and when it comes to the Path of the Seeker it does happen) if that sense of self is challenged it will inevitably fall apart...which can lead to suicide if it goes really wrong. If we build our sense of self on false concepts- for example that there is no Creator, life is pointless, life is chaos and belonging to a Group/Label/Profession makes us safe- they will fall apart when we encounter the inevitable challenges of life- death of a loved one, loss of a job, failed marriage, etc. When we build our sense of self on good concepts- such as we are Spiritual Beings having a Human Experience or that there is a Divine Natural Order...we have something to fall back upon when we lose everything else which is not only inevitable but a natural and beautiful part of life. Final Thoughts Beth/Beit represents House but is also associated with the Womb. That really surprised me because of the association by Case and Waite to Hermes or Christ- both being male figures. Then I realized that the Magician was standing in the Womb of Desire. While the Magician is shown in association with the symbol associated with Beit/Beth it is not the thoughts that Mercury represents on a personal level. Instead, Beit/Beth is represented by the Rose Arbor and garden. Again, the Magician is ignorant, symbolized by his black hair. Here he is shown in a rudimentary shelter- the most basic form of shelter that exists, Case points out. Later, this Arbor of Roses will turn into the Tower who's destruction is a vital part of the Parh of the Seeker. Here, after setting off to have experiences (The Fool Card) the Magician immediatly starts to build according to his desires. This parallels the idea that by having the *desire* to enter physical material reality (PMR, a Thomas Campbell term) we *chose* to be within the Illusion of Seperation so we could have the privacy to develop our individuality- to build our sense of self through having experiences of PMR. We start off in Spirit as the Fool with the desire to experience PMR and Individuality. Then we enter into the experience of PMR, through the womb of our mothers (tying in with Beit/Beth) and create our personal perspective of the world. In Lifestyle Development classes they teach that by the age of eight most kids had figured out how the world worked. They have a vague sense of self that solidifies in their teens. In the ancient tradition of Kabbalah those who wanted to walk the path started when they were older- after they had a family and an established foundation of support- because without that depth of experience the existential crisis and stripping away of that "self" that was created through identifications with things in PMR would kill them. The Path of the Seeker isn't one for people who are unprepared or don't have a strong sense of self that goes beyond superficial PMR identification. I also thought it interesting that the Fool and Magician are associated with the element of Air but both of these concepts exist on the level of the insubstantial space of ideas. Our sense of self is just an idea- often associated with labels that society gives us- until we undertake meditation and realize we are none of those things...that even our thoughts aren't the essence of our being and that we can observe them and our behavior form a distance. In some ways, when you realize that your a Soul having a Human Experience- and that is the essence of your sense of self instead of a consciousness that arises from the interaction of random electrical neurons firing and chemicals in the brain- you have a far firmer sense of self that is unshakeable. Spiritual practices, particularly ritual- which can be as simple as offering flowers on an Altar at home or for the religious going to a 'House of God'- give us a firm foundation that will remain strong despite whatever challenges occur in our lives. While it is lengthy this blog is more of an aside then a stand alone blog. This is tied closely to the Magician Card. I've decided to put it on the end of that blog and as a stand alone blog because I cover some important topics and had a bit of an epiphany about this when working with the Magician Card. The Third blog that I wrote in response to studying the Magician Card- on the how the Magician Card and the Hebrew letter Beth are related will be published next week.
When reading about the Magician Card I came across a fascinating statement. First he quotes Waite saying that what is on the table are the "implements of the four Tarot suits"... "The Magician's problem is to arrange them in proper order." Wands symbolize Air, Swords represent Fire, Cups symbolize Water and the Coins or Pentacles represent Earth. By studying the Tarot Suites clearly we can learn more about the complicated aspects of these Elements. Case's description of these are fascinating, "In ceremonial magic, these implements are the staff, the cup of libations and divination, the Magic sword, and the Pentacle or talisman. On the Pentacle are written engraved words, numbers, geometrical figures, and sigil. These are determined by the magical operation...In this instance, the sigil..is the pentalpha..." The fact that both Waite and Case attempt to confuse this topic shows that it's a highly coveted secret in the Esoteric Circles to which they belonged. The Correct Order The fascinating thing is that we know the order of the elements. The Inidgenous Medicene Wheel of North America is what Laird Scranton would call a "highly cultivated" symbol. I've covered in my blog (and it will be the first thing I cover when I return to vlogging one day) the four directions and elements of the Medicene Wheel. The medicene wheel is the wheel of life with each direction assigned a stage of life, a season and the elements. Now, not all tribes agree on how to work the circle...clockwise or counter clockwise. To create something we need to work it clockwise which corresponds with Yet we know the order is Air, Fire, Water and Earth. We get the urge or idea in the realm or "world" (as Paul Foster Case would describe it) of Air, then we take action on it in the realm of Fire, then we create it in the realm of Water and finally we have the finished product in the realm of Earth. I've been working with this wisdom teaching for years now. I just realized when formulating this blog in my mind (I literally envision it in my head before transcribing it on my phone) the role of the Water phase of the process. Bashar describes our level of reality, some call it 3D, as being Ice- like in nature. I was always curious why the color symbol for water was White and not Blue. I realized it's because this is the stage of Crystalization. This is the stage where things take form. Take for example you want a coffee from Starbucks. First, it comes to you as an urge or idea within your mind. That's the realm of Air. Then you take action by getting into the car, driving to Starbucks and ordering the drink. That's the realm of Fire. Third, your name is called and your drink (previously only a concept in your mind) is sitting on the counter. Fourth, is the realm of Earth where you pick up and drink the coffee. Involution and Evolution Michelle like the "Mystery of the Goddess" that has hundreds of stories about the Sleeping Goddess around the world and even contained in a Bible story...the Four Elements and Directions should be common knowledge. Plus, on one symbolic level it explains the descent of souls into matter. Bashar describes Physical Material Reality as far in the Darkness, very slow compared to the rest of Creation and Ice Like in nature. We have slowed the process of Creation (the weaving of the Four Elements together) way down to master it and become individualized. The Medicene Wheel shows that first urge of souls to become a part of PMR, the action they took (pushing into Matter as Edgar Cacye called it), the physical result being human bodies, and then the Earth being the finite experiences we have here. That is the process of spiritual involution. If we want to end the cycle of reincarnation we have to go counter clockwise on the Medicene Wheel. Whether you call this the Ascension or Awakening or Enlightenment it is the same thing. We start with our solid state of mind- what Buddhists call a rock- that is full of conditioning from this and past lives. Then we make our mind fluid once again...flexible and open minded by challenging those preconceived "solid" truths. Using the process of discernment we discard those that have lead to our disempowerment and unhappiness. Third, when the mind is no longer iced over by a bunch of limiting ideas we can start to take actions in our lives that go with the flow...much more like Fire then the Ice of the Water stage. We have an inspired life. Fourth, finally we find joy in ambiguity. There is a joy in uncertainty...a joy from not having the need or desire to be constantly creating but just BE...being totally present in the moment without the desire to be in a different state of being by harnessing the force of Creation. That's why working the Medicene Wheel clockwise and counter-clockwise are both correct perspectives. They simply serve different purposes...one to create and in a way be bond to Physical Material Reality and the second to discover Liberation. The Order Case Gives Knowing the Medicene Wheel it is funny that Case tries to obstificate the Order of the elements. He explains them as, "As elements of natural life they refer to fire (wand), water (cup), air (sword) and Earth (coin or Pentacle)...they correspond to the letters IHVH." The latter part of that is the Hebrew name for God. Also considered the "hidden" name. Yod, Heh, Vav, Heh. That could be it's own meditation but I wanted to mention it here. He also gives the order wrong again when he shares this insight: "...the four implements correspond to four ancient esoteric admonitions, which sum up the whole practical application of occult law. These admonitions are: (1) To Will (wand), (2) To Know (cup), (3) To Dare (sword) and (4) To Be Silent (pentacle)." Pg 44 Again, he lists the elements out of Order. Wand- Fire, Cup- Water, Sword-Air and Pentacle- Earth. Yet, when he quotes Eliphas Levi we find that the elements are in orrect order in the quote... "The Pentagram expresses the minds domination over the elements, and it is by this sign that we bind the demons of the air, the spirits of fire, the specters of water, and the ghosts of the Earth...it's complete comprehension is the key of the two worlds- it is absolute natural philosophy and natural science. "pg 44 The demons of Air our are erratic Thoughts (monkey mind as some call it), the spirits of Fire are untamed Desire, the specters of Water are irrational Emotions, and the ghosts of Earth are irrational Fear. Fear based people would take this other directions (which is why a Good Tarot had to be created- people are scared of spirits and demons) but all of it boils down to practical and perhaps even boring (in some circles) explaination. The act of meditation is the method to tame all of the undesirable aspects of the elements. When we realize there isn't a big baddie out there to overcome but the Work is to turn within and tame these elements within ourselves...well that's Work. People are naturally suspicious and jealous of those who do the Work. The reason is people who use this approach to life are naturally happier and more prosperous then others. Most people feel as though they have to bust their butts to achieve anything ...that life is an uphill climb filled with hard work with little reward. Spirit, or the Natural Order, effortlessly rewards those who are in the flow and in alignment with the Divine Will. When we are not in the flow of the Divine Will we feel as though we are banging our heads against the wall. We try to force our will and desires on the Natural Order that is completely unohased and unaware of the fsct we are trying to use it to solely benefit ourselves and remake the world in our own image (an act of futility). We feel out of control as our erratic thoughts, raging desires, irrational emotions and fear for our safety. Now that iveI've explained thay...Eliphas Levi lists the elements in the proper order! So those admonitions should be: 1) To Dare 2.) To Will 3.) To Know 4.) To Be Silent What is very entertaining is that if we view the Tarot as embodying the involution or descent into matter...these admonitions correlate with the Tarot Carss. 0 The Fool - To Dare 1 The Magician- To Will 2. The High Priestess- To Know 3. The Emperor- To Be Silent This application does work with the meanings behind the cards. The Ogdoad- The Eight I want to touch on this here. Now, the Ogdoad, the Ennead or Eight Ancestors of the Dogon connect with the Four Elements. Each Pair of these primordial beings corrsapond to a Female and Masculine representation of the Four Elements. In the Ennead, for example, the first two were Shu (Air) and TefNut (Moisture). Both involve air. Now, the interesting thing is that the highly cultivated (referencing Laird Scranton again) Dogon religion says that those eight ancestors "descended out of order" when the eighth ancestor descended out of order leading to Chaos (which is interesting because the 7th ancestor to descend- if your looking at the Ennead- is Set God of Chaos). What is said is that hte 8th ancestor killed the 7th ancestor and descended first. Next to nothing is known about the Eight member of the Ennead- Nephthys. In the Kabbalah when Malkuth "fell" or, in truth, "fell asleep/appeared to die," it created chaos in the "heavens" and Malkuth to be "cut off" (seperated) for fear that the Multiplicity of Malkuth would overwhelm the other Sephiroth on the Tree of Life. Hidden deeply in esoteric traditions is the concept that an error in the descent of the Male and Female pairs of the Elements is what caused the Illusion of Seperation. Some think that the correction for this is the Awakening of the Goddesss and that somehow the speration between the world of Spirit where we act as a sort of Hive Mind and physical life will cease to exist. Some believe that death will cease on Earth...which doesn't work either. I am more of a person that believes that the souls that were working to individualize will be released from Samsara and be allowed to visit other realms or return home to the Creator to help perform the Divine Will at a higher level then the Angels...and to be, as Edgar Cacye says, a companion to the Creator. Just as a Robot is a sub-par companion to a human so an Angel that just carries out it's programming or performs the task exactly as assigned- is not an adequate companion to the Creator. Even Bashar says of all the Cosmos only humans do not feel and know their connection to what he calls All-That-Is. Again, I personally believe that the Earth is a place, a school, where souls gain individuation. This is a school where we've slowed the process of Creation down so we can safely learn about it in a sort of independent simulation but think of it as real so that we have really stand to lose something when we die. Take for example, when you're playing a video game, yes you can get upset when you die because of the time you've invested in trying to beat a level...yet, the game contain some pretty wild stuff and you're not totally freaked out because you know it's not real. However, I must note and return to something that I already covered in my Magician Tarot Card post: Waite explains, "Christian Gnosticisim speak of Rebirth in Christ as a change "unto the Ogdoad." The Resurrection of Christ (which is not a person but an abstract concept- Christ Consciousness) is said to have 'fixed' the mistaken descent of the first eight ancestors. He does not explain how that works or what is changed. Anyways, this was more of an aside and an elaboration of the idea of the Order of the Four Elements that the Magician- assigned to the element of Air but wearing the red Robe of Desire/Fire- is trying to master. The Ogdoad and trying to figure out where the exact mistake was made in the order of the Masculine and Feminine elements is a monumental task. Every time I attempt to look into that I have a break down so I figure that's above my pay grade spiritually. The symbology of Waite and Case's version of these cards is so deep and profound that I was inspired to write two additional blogs...I will tack one of those onto this one but publish seperately too.
I think it's significant that A.E. Waite's Book Cover is of the Magician. I'm not entirely sure that it was that way in the original printing but it is that way in the version I own. Here, is the comparison and explanation of the symbols on the cards and the primary difference in philosophy between the older/original sets versus the new ones. In a seperate blog I will cover how Case connects the Hebrew letter Beth to this card and dive a bit into the meaning of the Hebrew letter Beth. I didn't originally intend to cover the Hebrew letters. Yet, I think this is approriate now because I find, as Case did, that the Tarot Cards illuminate and expand on concepts that are connected with the Hebrew Letters. Finally, and I'm tagging onto the end of this blog a discussion of the Four Elements that Case refers to as "worlds." The latter may not seem as though it belongs but it is an important aspect of the card that ties in deeply to the Minor Arcana. Yet, it is such a deep concept that it really had to be discussed seprately because I felt it took away from the main concepts behind the Magician Card. So, let us begin with, the basic dive into the symbols and meanings of this Tarot in the original and modern cards. The Magician Card proved to be a fascinating journey. For the new versions of the Tarot it means so little...basically it boils down to Will. The cheap Chinese knock off version of the Rider Waite Tarot lists Will as one of the meaning (also queareant and skill). The Light Seer Tarot lists Skill as the first descriptor word and then goes on to say, "The Magician brings forth a powerful message of creation and potential...Find your spark. Find your why. With everything you need sitting in front of you like a giant cauldron, what is it that you desire to bring to life...Motto: I can manifest what I desire through energy and action." Pg 21 Collette Baron Reid also describes this as primarily dealing with will... "...When I see this card, I'm reminded that my will and skill alone will yield limited results..." and then she goes on to explain that we have a partnership with Spirit to co-create. The term "Will To Power" originated from Nietzche and I've heard it quite often recently. The Merrin-Webster website defines it as: " 1...the drive of the superman...to perfect and transcend the self through the possession and exercise of creative power. 2. A Conscious or Unconscious desire to exercise authority over others." In the Rider Waite and Paul Foster Case Tarot Decks the Magicians hair is black representing ignorance. I'm assuming that in the Light Seers Tarot the hair is black for the same reason. We are starting with someone who doesn't know everything. They're inexperienced. That's why the Good Tarot, that depicts an Old Man, is very much out of place symbolically. The Gray hair and old age suggests wisdom instead of ignorance. Perhaps it is the change that Collete placed here- the knowledge of co-creating with Spirit that changes the meaning and purpose of this card completely. The Magician's Robe All four cards depict the Magician's robe although there are major differences. The Rider-Waite and Paul Foster Case Cards depict the robe as red and unadorned. Red represents Desire Nature and the cut of the Robe makes it easy to take on and off...meaning that the Magician can direct their desire instead of being controlled by it. In the Light Seer Tarot the Magician's Robe is Black and goes over their head. I'm not sure if they were aware that represents ignorance. Further, it has the Infinity sign- a sideways eight sewn into the hood. He does wear a red bracelet, that might represent desire nature with three yellow beads on it that may represent air and the trinity, on his right hand that is associated with the Masculine/Giving energy. In the Good Tarot the Magician also has a Black Robe. Again, I'm uncertain the artist realized in classic Tarot symbology that represents ignorance. There is the image of the Sun on the robe and gold embroidery. Now Waite does say that the Magician in his card has the "Visage of Apollo" which is a Sun God. So there is a distant connection of the Sun to his symbology. The Sun is often associated with "consciousness." The Gold Embroidery, however, is a bit more difficult to explain regarding the classic symbology. Perhaps it represents the element of Air that is associated with this Card. I'm really not sure what the artist was trying to symbolize in their card because it is so different from traidtion. Yellow The background of the Rider-Waite and Paul Fostee Card set is Yellow. This relates it, both note, to the Element of Air. Similar to the Fool Card this archetype relates to the realm (or what Paul Foste Case called a "world") of Air. Air, we know from other research, belongs to the Eastern direction. This is the plane upon which ideas are created or plans made. One could even say it's the "world" of imagination. This is also the first phase in the process of Creation- a concept that we will revisit at the end. The Infinity Symbol Depicted above the head of the Magician in the Rider-Waite set where the Star Chakra (a newer term and idea) is located and on the hood of the Light Seers Tarot this is a very potent symbol. Waite explains, "Christian Gnosticisim speak of Rebirth in Christ as a change "unto the Ogdoad"....Eight is the number of Christ." The Ogdoad turns out to be a reference to the eight primordial pairs of gods and Goddesses. Case explains it this way, "The horizontal figure 8 over the Magicians head is the ancient occult number assigned to Hermes...is also a symbol of the Holy Spirit." Pg 41 The Light Seer Tarot doesn't offer an explanation for the Infinity Symbol. This symbol, apparently esoteric in Waite and Case's day is now Common Knowledge. The Google definition of the Infinity Symbol is, "The concept of something that is unlimited, unbound." The Garden In the Rider Waite and Paul Foster Case cards the Magician stands in a garden of roses of lilies because their Subconscious is fertile and had grown so they are not as barren, mentally, as the Fool Card who stands on that cliff. The flowers are Roses and Lilies. Red Roses symbolizing desire, Venus, the pentagram and the five senses because there are five. The White Lilies are abstract thought, have six petals, representing the hexagram and the Microcosom. The four Lilies represent the four "worlds" (the four elements). However, in the Light Seers Tarot the Magician is sitting on green grass overlooking what looks like a swirling Galaxy. This invokes fertility in a way but not in the same way as a garden of flowers. The Magician of the Good Tarot only has his face visible as he hold a chi-ball with an abstract background of spirals. The Spiral is related to the Path of The Seeker as we always revisit the same lessons in a new form. Again, the symbolisim of the Good Tarot diverges completely from the rest...nothing in the card suggests a fertile subconscious. The Ouroboros I almost didn't cover this symbol because it is such a small one. Yet, I do believe that it is important. Similar to the Infinity Symbol Case and Waite do not name this symbol. They both simply comment that about the Magician's waste is a Blug Green snake biting it's own tail. Now, perhaps, when these books were first written- Waite in the last days of the 1800's and Case's in the opening years of the 1900's- this wasn't a commonly known symbol. Even in the early 'aughts' as they call the first years of the 2000's I don't think it was as commonly known as it is now and there was a great deal of supersitition around it (as there is around Snakes in genral since they are associated with the Devil- a being I do not beleive in but I believe to be a perversion of a depiction of the Divine Feminine). Either way, the Ouroboros conveys an important part of Physical Material Reality- of how 'life eats itself' in a seemingly endless cycle. The Ouroboros, I've also heard, represents Samsara and that seemingly endless cycle of reincarnation. Nothing exists beside All-That-Is which incompasses everything- so whether we eat meat or vegetables- we are recycling the same energy of All-That-Is that is, was and always will be. The form transmutes and the mode changes but it is all the same energy. Also, note that the Ouroboros is at the waste- right about the Sacral Chakra which is our spiritual center that is all about Creation and Fertility. In the very process of Creation we recycle energy that was once in another form. A piece of wood is fashioned and transformed into a part of chair. While it was a branch or trunk of a tree that form of energy is transumted into a chair by the process of human creation. The nature of the enregy does not change, it is the same atoms, neutrons and protons, but it has a different form after our manipulation of the matter. The Gesture In the Waite and Case card the gesture that the Magician uses is: "In the right hand is a Wand raised toward heaven, while the left hand points down to the Earth, this sign is known in very high grades of the Instituted Mysteries, it shows the descent of grace, virtue, and Light, drawn from things above and derived to things below." Pg 36 The wand that the Magician holds is different from the ones in the Tarot Suite. This one looks like it has a flame at the top and bottom...and it is also meant to look phallic. The Wands in geneneral are thought of as phallic in nature. The candle like nature of this wand, however, with a flame going up and down is significant...as it is connected to the Hebrew Yod which is depicted as a flame when upper case and a seed when lower case...and which I have connected with the Divine Masculine Yod (upright flame) and the Divine Femine yod (downard seed). This, with my interpertation means that this Wand represents a balance of Masculine and Feminine. The principal the classic depictions represent is the Hermetic phrase, "As above, so below." I think it's important to note that Case's Magician is looking down (as does the Light Seers Tarot) and Waite's Magician is looking at us (as is the Good Tarot). In the Light Seers Tarot the approach appears to be more Reiki or Chi based interpertation. From the Magician's right dominant/Masculine hand flows down energy into what looks like a Galaxy. Then energy flows upward from the galaxy into the Magician's right receptive/Feminine hand. The Galaxy is probably meant to represent the Cosmos or Creation in general. In the Good Tarot the Magician is holding a Chi Ball- a form of energy that is made of the Spiritual energy that forms the basis of Chinese Chi-Gong Medicene. Out of that energy emanates crescent moons and suns. In both cases the Light Seers Tarot and the Good Tarot also include a balance of the masculine and feminine in the Magician's Work. The Table The table is completley completely missing from the Good Tarot and Light Seer Table. There are major differences between Waite's and Case's depiction of the Table. Case explains that the Table is the "Field of Awareness." He explains that the table is square because it corresponds to Material Reality. The Earth or our every day Waking reality is represented by the square with the four corners of the square representing the four elements. Case's table is on the left and has Ionic Pillars that, "require the compass to make," and is to the left of the Magician. Case, as you will seen when we investigate further into the correlation of the Hebrew letter Beth with the Magician card, associates the Magician card with the Freemasons practice that so revere the compass. The compass of the Free Masons is the 'moral compass' that so many seem to associate with religion but as that fraternity clearly indicates can exist outside of any established religion. Waite's table is on the left and it has normal table legs but it has "magical glyp hs" along the edge. One symbol is the dove, another looks like a snake and finally what looks like the Zodiac Sign of Aquarius- two wiggly lines above one another. No explaination for these symbols nor attention is given to these details in Waite's book. I would hazard the guess that the Snake and the Dove are similar to the Hawk and Scorpion of the sign of Scorpio. The snake, as the Bible even notes in Genesis, is considered a lowly being because it wiggles along the ground unable to see very far. The Dove, on the other hand is often used as symbol of the Holy Spirit and, as such, as a Holisitic perspective that all Birds have of the world...it's a higher more inclusive perspective. The snake can only see the Trees but the Dove sees the Forest. The two wiggly lines of Aquarius also hints at that Hermetic maxim of , "As Above So Below," the Above, when you dig deep into Esoteric information is inevitably the Divine Masculine and the Below is inevitably the Divine Feminine. The Symbols Of The Four Elements I will dive into the meaning of the Four Elements a bit deeper after I cover a couple more areas of the basic study of the Magician Card. Now, the elements are completely missing from the Good Tarot and the Light Seers Tarot. However, I want to point out that Case's Wand that is on the table looks more like worked wood with a gold diamond at the top where as Waites look more like a branch with leaves that are still alive invoking the Staff of Aaron in the Bible. Case's cup looks more crystalline (not gold) and the Pentacle coin in Case's looks brown (not gold) with magical symbols on it. The swords look similar save that Case's hilt is brown instead of gold. What I also want to point out here is that the Magician Card connects the Minor Arcana to the Major Arcana. I believe this is the only card to do so...and that the Good Tarot and Light Seer's Tarot left the four elements out is very significant. Thursday Night Tarot Lotterhand went into much of what Case covered in his book. What he says explicitly is that the Magician is: "The Magician...is your self-consciousness." Pg 18 Case does mention this in his chapter on the Magician but Lotterhand dwells ont his concept far more. Now, in Lotterhand's work (which I am most familiar with) aspects of Jungian theory are applied to different aspects in the Tarot. Men represent the conscious, the women the subconsicous and angels the superconscious. Lotterhand also talks about the Magicians ability to take off the red magician robe at will but he must wear it to do magic because, "it activates his particular universe, represented by the implements on the table." Pg 18 The "above" that the Magician is channeling is the Superconscious and the "below" is the Subconscious. The Magician, the self-conscious, is in the middle. The Huge Difference In Philosophy Case makes it clear in his system, and Waite via "the gesture", that the Magician in their system is a Channel of the Divine. I remember when I first read a book (one on the chakras) that finished off that by having all of them open I was now a "channel of the divine," and how I totally rejected that and was ill at ease with the thought. A channel, I felt, was a tool used by the Divine and not something capable of autonomy- of being set a task and able to go about pursuing a Creative solution. On the other end of the Spectrum from a Channel is the philosophy of Collette Baron Reid of being a Co-Creator with the Divine instead of being a channel. While I liked this idea and sorta adhered to it upon reflection and meditation I believe that it is a bit different then what I practice. Instead, it is elevating the Will and Desires of the individual to the same level as Divine Will. There is a huge difference between these two concepts and as I said at the start of this blog this is a topic worthy of exploring in depth on it's own. I'm just going to put my toe into the water here. I absolutely believe that Jesus was a Channel for Divinity. The stories about him that are non-canonical seem to confirm it. Christ Consciousness is alluded to by Waite and Case regarding the Magician Card. Case flat out says that the Magician: "Affords a free channel of communication, which permits the free passage downward and outward of the superconscious light which is above and within." Pg 40 This is in complete agreement with Hermetic principals. When we go into the examination of the Hebrew letter Beth in another blog Hermes will pop up again...but this indicates that this card is attempting to convey a Hermetic principal. Therefore, what the Magician is doing is expressing the Will of the Divine from above to the Subconscious below. The Co-Creator perspective is very different from a Channel. In the Good Tarot and The Light Seer Tarot they are summoning energy instead of channeling. In the Light Seer Tarot the energy does seem to emanate from within...reflecting part of the Hermetic teaching (as within so without) and that energy is channeled downward into creation which could, through a stretch of imagination, be the Subconscious similar to Case's Tarot. Yet, in the Good Tarot the distinction between different levels of consciousness is not there. This shift from Channel working purely on behalf of the Divine Will To being a partner to that Divine Will but retaining a Will of our own is significant. In some circles there is a belief we can impose our will onto the Divine Will...even superseding it or manipulating it to gain money or whatever we want to 'manifest.' Having been a student of both modes of thinking and not perceiving the conflict before I had to think about my personal concept of this which falls in between the two. I have surrendered my "will" to the Divine Will in recognition that it is superior to my own. In a way, it is a sort of 'marriage' where I accept what is instead of changing it to what I think I prefer, need or want. I see the Divine simplicity in the idea that the Earth is where people earn their individuality through the Illusion of Seperation. Knowing that purporse I don't see any reason for it to change and I don't see the need for a plane of experience where that isn't needed because there is a long line of souls who want to become individualized. I don't see the line of those souls running out any time soon. I find it very interesting that the concept of a Channel is associated with one of the first phases/aspects of personal development and Ignorance. Lotterhand refers to the Work as 'Know Thyself' and what this suggests is that the Magician does not know himself. As we will see when we look at the World Card there is a significant shift from the stage of self development/creation/individuation that is the Magician to the World Card. I have never seen my perspective reflected in any literature. While derived from what I have learned from others my approach is primarily based on my experiences and logic (that, being that I know that I'm less then all knowing- I dont even know the Divine Plan but can only react to it-I clearly don't have the ability to assert my Will in place of or alongside the Divine Will...yet I would not describe myself as opaque because there is still a lot of depth to my being). At the same time I believe setting intentions is worthwhile during the Moon cycle. Through knowing the general energy of the Moon Cycle I can go about planning my life in a way that coincides with the Divine Will and Divine Timing (this has led to a far smoother life experience!). Lotterhand explains, "This person is the master of what we call matter. He learns how to manipulate matter by practicing on himself. Once he learns how to handle himself he can manipulate all matter because matter is plastic, not fixed. Then he's a real master." Pg 19 The Hebrew Letter Beth I am not going to go into this too deeply because I've decided that I will devote an entire Blog to examining the connection between the Tarot Cards and the Hebrew Letters. First, Case explains that Beth is a "House." Second, he connects that concept to Hermes/Mercury. Third, Case accurately (Laird Scranton has proven this) points out that houses were originally made in the image of a sleeping Goddess. Case explains that Mercury is, "...only the messenger of a Divinity higher then himself...the channel not the source." Pg 39 Finally, he explains Life and Death is attached to Beth and this Card because it has the power to do both. Final Thoughts I want to look at the Tarot from the perspective that it describes both the process of Creation, the aspects of the Creator and aspects of each person's Psyche. Just as each of us have a "Mercury" or, "Venus" that corresponds to us in our Zodiac chart the Tarot is the same. All of us have an Inner Fool and an Inner Magician. The Magician also corresponds to that first act of "will" where the first soul group forced their way into matter. Of course, that was a mis-use of Will Power. Now it is interesting that Mars, often associated with the Will and the Solar Plexus Chakra, is not associated with this Card....instead it's Mercury but we will go into an entire examination of what Mercury has to do with the Magician cardr when we explore the Hebrew Letter Beth in more detail. Conclusion Will power...such a powerful force. Clearly, the meaning of the Magician is more then just that urge...in fact it encourages us to be a better person through "practicing magic" on ourselves through that beautiful concept of "Know Thyself." When our Will is in Alignment with the Divine we are, as Francesca Simon so accurately desceibes, a boat on the Sea. We adjust our sail to conditions outside our control that exist as dictated by the Divine Will- the ocean and wind- but with a bit of knowledge we can have a more pleasent experience when adpating to the whims of the ocean and wind. The Light Seer and the Good Tarot don't do this card justice with their symbology. By not recognizing a higher power they make it seem as though the forces the Magician Harnesses comes from them and this is a major error. The focus on the individual as a force that should manipulate matter for personal gain is the opposite of all traditional esoteric spiritual teachings. The issue I have with this is the same that I have on those who focus so much on manifesting. I've been following Athena on Sage Goddess, a Master Manifester, long enough to know that no matter what the aspects of Taurus season currently are in a given year- she associates it with making money and she pushes items and methods of manifesting that money. That relentless knee jerk never changing approach and focus is an error. There are times and years where working to attract money during Taurus season makes sense but there are years (like this one- 2022) where that may backfire. Bonus Thoughts On The Elements While it is lengthy this blog is more of an aside then a stand alone blog. This is tied closely to the Magician Card. I've decided to put it on the end of that blog and as a stand alone blog because I cover some important topics and had a bit of an epiphany about this when working with the Magician Card. Initital Thoughts
We are in that upside down period where the New Moon and Full Moon are out of synch with the Solar Calendar. So, we are in a confusing time. There is a mystery here as we contemplate Lynx and the Lovers Card. The Lovers Card represents the three aspects of ourselves- our Subconscious (Feminine), Conscious (Masculine) and Superconscious (the Angel) synchronized together. Lynx Reversed encouraged us not to gossip and this Moon Cycle, with Gemini Season, there was a lot of gossip. The main story- despite the Ukraine/Russia War or Mass Gun Shootings- was really the Johnny Depp/Amber Herd Defamation trial that Depp won. War and Violence just doesn't have the effect that it once had on the Collective...perhaps there have been so many of them that we have become numb to there effect. For the most part the news cycle has been a lot of hot air this Moon Cycle with very little substance. The government seems to be baffled that they can't create another 9/11 reaction- either with the January 6th Committee or the Uvlade shooting. The first half of this year has been greatly influenced by Neptune in Pisces. Thankfully, this Lunar Cycle that energy is shifting...but this Full Moon Neptune has a major effect. All of that Gossip has lent itself to a nice little fantasy but that illusion will not stand up to reality. We may think that we have some brilliant idea during this Full Moon but...more than likely given that Lynx was upside down and the Neptune influence...it's probably not going to work out. Venus, meanwhile, after her harrowing journey is conjunct the North Node and Uranus during this New Mooon. The Goddess confronting chaos on her home turf with so much energy in the sign of Aries- including Mars that's conjuncting Chiron- creates an electric energy of Renewal to this Full Moon. Humanity just might be leveling up...or as Thomas Campbell calls it, "Growing up." Astrology We have a New Moon at 23 degrees of Saggitarius which breaks down to the number five. Sad to say it but this month the energy has shifted significantly and things are about to change. The energy of this Full Moon, however, is very nice. So, for now enjoy the good vibes while you can! We have Saturn and Pluto offline so two fo what people call the maelifics are off line. Mars is Trining the Moon in Saggitarius encouraging us to ascend our own personal Mountain on the Path of the Seeker. The canned description of Saggitarius is travel, foreign places, travel, and foreign people. I prefer the esoteric description that makes this one of the most spiritual signs. Saturn is supporting the Sun in Gemini with a trine and the Moon in Saggitarius with a Sextile. Yet, it is also squaring Mercury at the Gemini cusp and Venus in Taurus. This is the first sign that Saturn is starting to work up some angst toward Uranus in Taurus. Uranus is conjunct exalted Venus in Taurus so we are really enjoying new and innovative pleasures of life this month. No wonder Saturn is pissed...we have no time to dilly dally during the birth of a New Age! Neptune is square the Sun and Moon. The Collective Narrative isn't supporting the Gemini/Saggitatius energy (why would we after the last two years when those were our North and South Node?). We may well be re-visiting Coronavirus related issues. Pluto is still oozing supportive energy by Trining Mercury and sextiling Uranus (this Sextile is going to be around for awhile). The Gemini thoughts are helping to bring down those Capricornian institutions and Pluto is giving Uranus the green light to wreck some havoc. Lilith is still square Jupiter in Aries. Whatever this New stuff is she does not approve. Oracle Stone: Green Fluorite This Heart Chakra stone is associated with Brilliant Ideas. I pulled the Oracle Stones before I created my grids for this year and quite honestly forgot about them. The fact that I included two Fluorites in my Grid and then have this Fluorite as the Oracle Stone feels very auspisicious. This is a Lunar Cycle where overthinking (Mercury/Gemini Season in general) and Illusion (Neptune) had the greatest influence. The Brilliant Idea that we think that we've had may not be that brilliant in hind sight but we are defintely capable of changing our paradigm this Lunar Cycle. Mediation This started off as a Personal Update focused around a powerfully psychologically healing dream that I had on the New Moon. However, due to circumstances that post was never finished and I didn't have a Wednesday to post it in a timely manner, anyway, because of the way that I moved around my schedule. Square has bought Weebly. I'm not sure what will become of this blog. I had a bit of an unsettling moment when, upon entering my name they had me confirm information only I would know the historical details of...not even my husband would know the answers to those questions. That is just an indication of how little privacy we have anymore. I'm a pretty open person so it's not awful but at the same time it's very surprising this sort of thing rally is happening. I also had the unsettling moment when a man knocked on the door. He left, I thought it was a package being delivered and he came back asking, "Do you know me? Have I ever been here before? Do you recognize me?" When I shook my head no he said, "They do tell me I have a forgettable face." Then he went on to claim that he worked with Edison but he said, "You have Edison right?" As though he was uncertain that I have the only electric company in Southern California. Absolutely bizarre and no, I had no idea who he was and I told him I wasn't interested in whatever he was doing...while simultaneously memorizing what he looked like and I even tried to see what car he was driving but he wasn't parked in front of our house. The pessimist in me says he was casing our house and he was a potential burglar...but it felt like a scene right out of a movie. My instincts say he wasn't selling anything. Having been in sales myself the first words out of my mouth would not be, "Do you know me?" Even if I had cold called a place previously. I kind of assume most people don't recongnize sales people, they are forgettable and if they did they would say so right off without provocation. As far as the dream, I've seemed to have healed a very deep fear on the Spiritual level. I already shared the dream that I had of a new state of mind and that the new state was the "best that could be done with what was left." I believe this is partly because I live a very simple life with very little desire. I don't go anywhere or do much beyond taking care of my kids...but that is the joy that is the middle age years when your raising kids- totally normal according to the classes I've taken. Yes, I still spend money but it's mostly on the girls and buying/collecting Stones, Minerals and Crystal's. First, my dreams have started to take place outside of PMR. This appears to be a familiar place, where I belong and came from prior to incarnation, that I have dreamt of before and I have returned to for the first time. I have dreamt of many places within our PMR Multiverse- various levels of what could be "Hell" or "Limbo" created in the consciousness of beings that died with unfinished business or the mentally ill- and many forms of heaven and even alien planets. I have lucid dreams, where I have the ability to change things at will or to wake up when I want if something happens I don't like. I've had a recurring dream for most of my life that, most notably, was of a big slitted yellow eye looking for me trying to find me and I always hid. I always felt it was a T-Rex (that association started when I saw Jurassic Park in the movie theater...and it just occurred to me how it is also similar to the Eye of Sauron). That being (the only way I can describe it) transformed into something far less threatening in a dream...a cat. So, it appears that I have overcome some sort of fear that I had prior to incarnation. The Dream I debated including this but why not? So here is the dream: I came up from behind two beings who were trying to re-create physical material reality/the Multiplicity with an experiment. They kept getting a fundamental part of it wrong. I had the feeling that these Angels (for a lack of a better term) were set this task and had been at it for a long time doing the same thing over and over again. They were doing a sort of simulation with energy. I looked over their shoulder and said, "That's not quite how it happened but your close," the fundamental flaw that they had made was based on a very basic false assumption but I was very careful not to reveal to them what they were doing wrong. They were very frightened of me and I knew it was because they were not individualized on any level nor did they want to be individualized. The very idea of Physical Material Reality frightened them. I then flashed to a scene where I was not present, it was more shown to me, where these two beings went to the One that assigned them this task. I did not hear what they said exactly, only that they had reported what happened. This is where that 'being' that I usually perceive as a slitted T-Rex eye became a cat...which was very strange. That being telepathically conveyed the message, "The One who Misspoke is seeking me? This makes me happy." Then a pause, "This makes me very happy." In another dream I overheard a girl tell a guy, again outside of PMR, that he was going to have to get married eventually so it might as well be her. He rolled his eyes (most beings on this level appear as human to me but this one was individualized unlike the other two 'angels' who looked washed out and exactly alike) and mimicked her when she couldn't see him. I tapped him on the shoulder only meaning to give him some friendly advice, "Excuse me, but you know you don't have to get married right?" He turned, delighted to see me and I commented, "You've heard where I went?" Meaning into Physical Material Reality. This is very curious to me. I could debate the meaning and explain how this connects to other dreams that I have had that are a bit odd. In particular, a dream where I was a little Fluff Ball of energy that created my own 'creation' and then fled into in fear that I would be in trouble for 'creating' without permission- I had seen my parent do it so often I had merely copied what I had seen and hid it. I could also explain how the esoteric literature ties in but at the end of the day none of that really matters to me (I have written about that in previous posts)...the sense of peace and belonging that I have felt in the last month are amazing and are truly a new state of being for me. I have never felt this happy or content in my daily life or in my dream state...and that's really what matters. I major shift in my paradigm which was very likely under in this Full Moon Cycle. This doesn't require any grandiose plans of action or anything which is what I have warned against...it's simply a state of being. The Venus Story I do find it very interesting that this has happened after the Venus and Mars Epic Journey where they created a new ending. The Divine Masculine and Divine Feminine overthrew Pluto's, then journeyed into Aquarius together where they broke apart (March), then Venus went to visit the Divine Monad formed by Jupiter/Neptune in Pisces (April) giving that story a different ending as Venus continued on un-deterred. The other half of the Venus story this year is that she will be 'reunited' with her Divine Family (remember Sophia left her Divine Home in search of the Divine Monad because she was afraid of the Multiplicity (Multiverse/PMR) overtaking the Oneness (those who experience that direct hive mind connection to the One Creator). This Reunion will occur in October/November of this year. Venus and Mercury are said to be the children of the Sun and Moon which is why they sit upon the throne of the Sun when they pass between the Earth and the Sun...called a Kazimi and after which they emerge re-born as the Morning Stars (there are times when they are both the Morning Star, although, Venus is associated with that term more often then Mercury). This reunion of Venus with her family seems to mirror what may be a reunion on this dream level of myself and that primordial realm that I had experienced as the place I was from. The Feminine Emphasis As the issue of abortion asserts itself into our world, the sterlization of children with puberty blockers, black women being elevated to roles in shows/movies and company/government positions solely based on their color and gender...this year is weird. After Wanda (Scarlet Witch) and what they did with Daenarys in Game Of Thrones I've really given up hope that a strong multidimensional interesting woman will ever be seen as anything but a villain in shows. Society can only imagine one dimensional women as heros or worthy of being saved. Very disappointing. Renewal That sense of making Old Things New Again is defintely at the heart of this year. I was reviewing the different entertainment this year and that describes the majority of the films that I have seen...along with the mental health and weird mix of fantasy with reality (that fits very well with the Neptune in Pisces energy of this year)...take for example Chip and Dale Rescue Rangers, the Jurassic World Dominion movie where Grant comes back from the original movies or even Maverick. Even with the Venus journey...where she overcame the Fallen Perspone State, confronted the Monad and regained her place with her family...that sense of Renewal is there. On the Venus level there are huge archetypes indicated by this journey. Malkuth itself is considered Feminine and overwhelmingly associated with the astrological sign of Virgo who is seen as sleeping or lazy but essentially played the role of bringing consciousness to Physical Material Reality. In fact, the Greek Myth of Promethus is a loner in the light of consiousness coming to this realm via a masculine figure. At the very least, I think anyone can appreciate the idea of the Resurrection of the Gooddess (and interestingly, I wrote a blog on that subject last year that is going to be published in this blog this year...I don't remember what I wrote and I'm sure my opnion has changed in some ways but that's interesting). Whether the story of Persphone or the story of Sophia the Goddess fell from the Spritual place from which she was from. David Warner Mathisen and his numerous wondeful books makes it very clear that this story is universal (again, usually symbolized by the Zodiac sign of Virgo) and I agree with him that the Goddess represents Humanity and it's Descent into matter (this is also supported by the Edgar Cacye material and John Van Auken's Egyptian Mystiscism) and the Resurrection is right on time given that the Pyrmaid Prophecy places the Ascent should start in 2038...of course, the Goddess would start off symbolically and humanity would follow a few years later. That my dreams are paralleling the story of Venus in the Heavens is very intersting. In my dreams, just as Venus descended into the Underworld (as she does often) so too did my Primordial Self go into creation to 'hide' (not trapped by death at all but a willing choice, in the case of my primordial soul, easily reversed)...and just as a storyline plays out where she is aided by the Divine Masculine to ascend once again (as the Divine Masculine is also going through a healing) to be reunited with her family (as it seems I am being reunited with beings whom I knew in that Primordial State). The upcomping New Moon is going to be very interesting. There is a Triple Goddess Emphasis balanced with the Divine Masculine. I have listened to a few people and no one is really seeing it the way I am...I guess because they are not as deep into the myths and because many do not include Eris or Black Moon Lilith. On one hand, I'm excited by the symbology of that New Moon and I will go deep into that with the New Moon post...but we also have the Grous Card popping up again... with Lynx and Grouse popping up again I feel as though we are being re-tested for something. I know I failed the last test with Grouse so I'm hoping I don't lose it this time! Also, I need to note that in Entertainment it does seem there is a huge shift. Aside from the forced narrative...another narrative is emerging that was hinted at a little when I was looking over what was coming out in 2021. Coming of Age or Growing Up is a theme as well as making 'old things new'...Turning Red, Ms. Marvel, Maverick...I'm sure I can think of others but that's something I'm going to keep my eye on this year. This coming of age story was okay and part of why I say that is because after watching it once my 3 year ild didnt want to watch it again. Yes, she's well under the PG13 rating. I feel it was a bit awkward but that is appropriate for the movie. The main charecter is supposed to be awkward.
Part of why this probably doesn't work for me is because the parental nostalgia they are playing off of makes me go, "Yuck." The Animae* like behavior of the charecter (an Asian American charecter in Canada) is just not cool in a Western Movie. To me it just felt phony. Let Japanese Animae* inspired antics remain with animae. I have always despised boy bands. Even watching it in a kids movie I felt the repulsion. So, that was gross. I was shocked that they insinuated about the girl having her period. Even to the point where her Mom shows up at the school to tell her she forgot her pads. I've never seen a movie made for kids with that reference. I was actually a bit shocked because periods- even in adult movies- tend to be taboo. Also, the issues are very Asian Culture oriented (and a classic story told in Animae) and it's not as relatable to me. Other cultures don't have that rigid traditional relationship with their parents anymore...and haven't for decades (sin e the '60's...so fifty years or so. Clearly, as I said, this is a girls coming of age story that deals with puberty- being ga-ga over boys and starting a period. Turning Red- the period and becoming an animal- associated with "strong emotions" is kind of gross to when you think about it. The movie is almost cute but not something I'll watch again and I don't see this being a popular Pixar movie. All of her friends were just odd, none of them were really cute or endearing (the fat angry one just seemed like a very one dimensional sterotype). I recommend it if you're curious but that's about it. |
