Thou Shalt Not Judge.
Four simple words and, yet, this is one of the hardest lessons to learn. I thought, for the longest time, from an intellectual standpoint...that it was not possible. As human beings we rely on our judgement to navigate through our lives. We judge whether a behavior is good or bad...what traits in other human beings are good or bad...because we don't want to marry a person who will hurt us or put ourselves into a situation that may cause our lives to abruptly end. When I realized how life is a subjective reality and everything is fundamentally neutral I was able to realize the value and the possibility that we can obey this commandment. Yet, these concepts are so different from popular belief that it's hard to integrate them fully. I thought I had this mastered...but I realize recently that I had not. I had a series of synchronicities...for the last month...and I just had that aha moment where I realized what it meant. So, I'll start off with the synchronicities, explain the lesson, and then meditate on the implications a bit. Synchronicity Example First, a friendship ended because I told my friends husband something she never intended to tell him. I thought she would tell him, as I tell my husband everything...I have a tendency to talk about things unless someone specifically tells me to keep it secret. I hate keeping secrets because I suck at lying...keeping secrets is just too much work. So, I tell everyone straight out, "Don't tell me your secrets because I'm not good at keeping them." I don't care if people judge me as being less valuable because I can't keep secrets...because if something is secret it's usually so for some selfish personal gain or someone has done something wrong. I was completely transparent with this friend and told her that from the start that I'm terrible at keeping secrets...but, apparently, somewhere along the way she assumed that I would keep everything she told me secret. Oops! I would have probably fought for that friendship if I hadn't had a dream indicating I should not have continued...but after a week of not talking to her and feeling so much happier I realized something... I had been complaining non-stop about my husband with that friend. That was, sadly, the only thing that the two of us had to talk about with one another...complaining about our husbands or other people in our lives for validation. This constant complaint fest had started to cause issues in my marriage, even my husband commented that I was in a foul mood after I talked to her...and it was genuinely depressing! Yet, that wasn't the only lesson to be learned. I ran into this entire series of subjects that talked about Right Speech. This was when I was working on videos for the Tower Tarot Card, the Hebrew Word Pei, the Sephiroth of Hod and the Separation stage of Alchemy. All of those videos involved Right Speech. To top this off, on top of that I was reading Awakening The Buddha Within by Lama Surya Das...and the chapter I was reading was...Right Speech. Well, I knew that the problem with my friendship that ended had to do with Right Speech. I had identified what the Wrong Speech was...and a friendship based on complaining about things is just toxic (we were both toxic for each other). Yet, there was something I had missed in this lesson because these synchronicities kept coming up...and then I was working on the Hebrew Word Tzaddi...and I wrote the the blog to accompany that video. That's when I had the aha moment of the real lesson! Fundamentally Neutral I know that all things, places, situations, people and actions that I encounter are fundamentally neutral in nature. Nothing we encounter has the fundamental quality of good or evil. What is good for one person can be evil for another. Take for example the catch phrase, "One mans trash is another man's treasure." The object is fundamentally neutral but we are the ones who place the value or the judgement on it. I have known this intellectually for a very long time. The Judgement Trap From the day we are born our parents start to teach us what is good and what is evil. Now, this is in every day mundane things. Good is petting the dog nicely. Bad is tugging on the dogs tail until it yelps in pain. This type of judgement is good. We need to learn how to judge things to figure out how to navigate through this world. Cutting off the Semi that is going down hill is bad...not because it would make him angry but because it's likely that the diesel will hit my car and I'll die. We need to know how to judge. Yet, the problem is we start judging everything non-stop...never realizing that fundamentally the item, person, or situation is fundamentally neutral. Nothing is really ever entirely evil or entirely good. Then we get to the point where everything that has to do with 'us' is good and everything that has to do with 'them' is bad...to the point where we start considering individual cases at all. There is a reason in justice that every person goes to trial and their case...their testimony...is individually heard. Each person is unique and each situation is unique...and fundamentally neither party is good or evil unless Intent and Fault can be determined beyond a reasonable doubt. The court has to prove that you intentionally killed someone to convict you for murder for a reason. Finding fault in other cases is a lot more murky...but I wanted to give an example of an extreme. Forgiveness Now, because I had intellectually understood the concept of how things are fundamentally neutral and that reality is Subjective...I realized I can forgive everyone. I really can't judge anyone for their mistakes. They are automatically forgiven. To be human is to make a lot of mistakes in judgement because there are so many distortions in the human psychology that they are darn near endless. There are so many variables...so many events and experiences that cause people to be psychologically confused...that people can't be categorized. In fact, in my cornerstone psychology class that was the conclusion...people cannot be categorized and behavior cannot be predicted because there are just too many variables involved. Yet, we still use categorization in Psychology because...well, judging good and evil along with naming things is a fundamental part of being human. Those are the primary tools all humans are taught to use in order to process the world around us. Yet, judgement and naming things lead to suffering. So, I had forgiveness down...I got it and I see forgiveness as being one of the most divine gifts a human being can offer. However, true forgiveness is permanent and cannot not retracted later. To say that we forgive can be easy. To truly forgive is hard. A lot of people say they forgive so they can pretend to be lofty...but their words and actions betray them afterward. Yet, forgiveness does not mean that you continue to place yourself in a situation where you are abused. The responsibility is up to you to realize that situation is unhealthy for you and to take yourself out of it. Complaining is Judgement Forgiving strangers is easy...forgiving a close loved one is a bit harder. Further, judging loved ones against a high standard is also very common. This was the lesson I really needed to learn. I was judging my husband endlessly! I was failing to forgive the most important person in my life...instead of seeking harmony I was building up all of this resentment. He wasn't doing what I expected him to do when I expected him to do it. I created this huge wish list for him to do and...when he didn't manage to do it I was hurt and disappointed. Yet, I know my husband very well and looking at the list I realized it was horribly unrealistic. If the shoe were on the other foot and he had crated a to do list for me with items on it that were unrealistic I wouldn't be a happy camper. Yet, when it comes to that which we are most intimately connected with...that which we deal with on a daily basis...it's very easy to not even realize what we are doing. What I'm Working On I realized that I need to transmute this behavior and practice forgiveness with him... Holding someone up to a unrealistic standard and then judging them for not rising to it...is simply silly. I also realized that the way someone speaks is the way they truly feel in their heart. Yes, they can contradict themselves at times but if all someone has to say is negative...that's how they see the world. They do not see the world or Creation as joyful, wonderful and beautiful. I know from experience that what we dwell on is what we create...if we think about something non-stop and visualize it...we make it happen one way or another. If we dwell on negative scenarios, as I did when complaining about my husband with my friend, all we will see is the negative it that situation...in my case, all I could see was the negative in my relationship. I know, in my heart that he is the most kind, wonderful and loving man that I could possibly ever find. He goes out of his way to make me happy...but he has boundaries which is healthy. He is very aware of what he needs to make himself happy and that is his main concern...and rightly so because that is his responsibility not mine. He was raised in a family where everyone looked out for themselves so this is natural to him. Just as it is my responsibility to make myself happy and not wait on him to make me happy. I need to do the things that make myself happy. Unfortunately, I was raised in an unhealthy relationship where it was considered everyone's responsibility to make everyone else happy...and I was that person who was the best at making everyone else happy with the thoughtful gift or act that eased tension. You can see the conflict there..and the beautiful lessons that my husband and I are teaching each other: I'm teaching him to be more considerate of other people's needs. He's teaching me how to meet my own needs and not try to make everyone else happy (which is an act in futility if there ever was one). Conclusion This is how synchronicity works and how you can use it to learn an important life lesson. You can bet I will be paying close attention to what I say from now on! Practicing Right Speech will be a goal that I will be mindful of going forward. Usually, when I learn these lessons the behavior follows effortlessly. After all, I realize how important it is and I don't enjoy repeating lessons. I'm sure I'll make mistakes going forward...that is to be expected. Just as I forgive myself for the mistakes I made that lead to me learning this lesson...I forgive mistakes that I make in the future as I learn to walk this new level of the Path of the Seeker. This is also why I lay all of my mistakes before you...I want you to know I'm not perfect. If I can forgive this deeply and profoundly so can you. With each lesson learned we lessen our suffering just a little more...the Path of the Seeker is like a mountain that we are moving pebble by pebble...but with each pebble removed we suffer less.

In my recent research I have come across some amazing mind blowing material. As such, I've had to stop and do some written meditations. I'm always amazed that people think concepts like the Alchemy or Tarot or Kabbalah do not apply to the Christian ethos...that it's somehow blasphemy. Of course, we've traced this to the Catholic Church who clearly just wanted power and didn't want their populace to be critical or independent thinkers.
Yet, whenever I come across this information and it explains the bible better then any preacher...I take notice. In the end, Jesus was a Jew and probably well versed in the Kabbalah. I wish I could find the non-canonical bible where the disciples had terrible dreams of their children being offered up as sacrifices (marytrydom perhaps?) and Jesus told them that meant they would fail to properly teach the populace properly...because boy does that seem to be what happened. While I was reading this in Daniela Abravenel's book I was just floored and I had to go more deeply into it...was King Solomon an Alchemist? Is this the source that inspired Alchemy? I was doing my research on the very last of the Hebrew letters....Tav. Here is what she wrote and then we'll get into further reflections. I'm still reading Abravenel's book so I haven't written a review but it's fascinating! "In the book of Proverbs King Solmon tells us that the heart, which expresses itself most intensely in prayer, must be refined just like gold and silver: The refining pot for silver and the furnace for gold, but the lord tries hearts. The Hebrew word kesef (silver) also means desire." I looked up the word for gold and it is, "Enlighten, shine or admonish," according to Strong's Dictionary. She goes on later, "We must refine the quality of our desires and our requests...." Abravenel's Candle Metaphor I couldn't blend this with the above and adequately do it justice. Above is a picture I created for you so that you can relate to it as you read this insightful bit of information that I put into my own words while taking notes. She says that the word Tikun which starts with Tav also represents the Alchemical function. Tikun means reparation or transformation. Reparation is a word that means 'to repair.' The Flame is Neshamah- the Higher Self The Wick is Insight...or the Inner Path of the Seeker to put into terms more familiar in this blog. Nefesh "animal soul" is the Candle Wax. This is the part of us that is conditioned from Karma and Conditioning (by parents, environment, society, religion, school, friends, etc.) Now here is the beautiful little quote I wrote down in my journal, "Consumption of the candle wax into flame alludes to the alchemical transformation of matter and darkness into Spirit and Light." She goes on to explain that the wick is the catalyst. Then she explains that Fire requires oxygen to burn and that this refers to proper breathing. The Fire The Secret Fire of the Alchemist is one of the core teachings when studying Alchemy. As I read about Alchemy I remembered a lecture from a long time ago that I attended by a Hindu woman who's name I don't remember. She explained that there is this practice, which I can't recall the name of either, that the proper breathing stirs the fire at the base of the spine. Above that fire is the gastric system...intestines, stomach, etc. which she compares to a great bowl that is essentially over a flame like a cooking pot. If the fire is low at the base of the spine then the metabolism will not work properly. When thinking about the metabolic system we know that if the chemicals within the stomach and the bacteria in the intestines are not working properly it can have a major effect on the person's body. Here is a little picture I created that kind of creates this idea... What little I know of Kundalini (based on John Van Auken's side information and on some information Paul Foster Case speaks about...in both cases the subject was mentioned and not explored in depth so I don't feel that I comfortably understand it...that is a topic of research on the to-do-list. I've found it hard to research because there is a lot of frauds who talk about it and wrote e-books on the subject while the actual experts who practice it in Asia are surprisingly silent)...describes a fire at the base of the spine. Through meditation and practice that fire is raised up along the path of the spine, up the neck and into the brain to the Pineal and the Pituatary Glands. The result of a Kundalini Awakening is supposed to be A Golden Mind...or a mind of 'spiritual fire.' That isn't very far from what the Alchemists believed/achieved but they use different terminology and specific meditations/experiments to help plant the seeds of their ideas for the development of the Elixir in their minds. We see the same practice, described in a different way, when working with our chakras...as we clear the different blockages in the chakra's it's far easier to do meditations similar to my Heavenly Light Meditation (https://youtu.be/CHV9uDhiTWI). Here is the first in my series of videos on the Chakras (https://youtu.be/Zv8ymcJbHqk). The Mind and Heart Connection Now, having just finished writing my videos on Alchemy this metaphor really surprised me. Unlike what most people think Alchemists were not talking about literally transforming Lead into Gold. They were talking about a meditative practice of self-transformation. Typically the 'stone' that they worked with was their own minds. However, Buddhism has a fascinating concept about how the Mind and Heart need to be working together called the Jewel in the Lotus. Here is an article on that topic that I will be referring to throughout the rest of this blog: https://jackkornfield.com/mind-heart/. As Jack Kornfield explains, "In Buddhist psychology, mind and heart are often described by one word "citta." Here in the west we tend to 'live' in our intellect. That's our logical waking conscious A to C mind that dismisses everything we cannot physically hold, weigh, measure or add. Imagination has had very little value placed upon it in the United States and has been linked to insanity. The phrase," It's just your imagination," is poison to the soul. When someone imagine's something or associates particular feelings about a subject it needs to be discussed and explored. Even if the experience is not validated by a group of people it is nonetheless real for the individual experiencing the problem. This leads to a lot of psychological problems in the United States being hidden. Eventually, the Subconscious can no longer handle all of the information and the person either explodes in rage or depression...either of which can lead to a School murder spree or suicide. You can see the effect with the suicides and school murders as well as in Hollywood that can no longer create new material...those with the imaginations have died off or can't break into the industry (aside from Marvel movies). The Heart is the home of both the emotions which is closely linked to the imagination and it is the bridge to the Subconscious. Therefore, when an Alchemist is working with the structure of 'the mind' it does purify both the heart and the mind. The structures that the Alchemist turns into ashes during the Calcination period often involve the emotions and the ideas or images we have attached to them. The idea that in order to be strong we must not cry is a prime example of a belief structure that we need to put onto the pyre of our own internal fire. When we look at what Chakra's Paul Foster Case connects to the "planets" of the Sun and Moon we also see this connection between the heart and mind. The Sun belongs to the Heart chakra...and the Moon belongs to the Third Eye Chakra. We can go further into studying these two concepts when we know that the Hebrew Letter attached to the Tarot Card Key- The Moon- Is Kuf and that the Hebrew Letter attached to the Tarot Card Key- the Sun- is Reish. Here are the YouTube videos I made exploring: The Moon Tarot Card Key: The Sun Tarot Card Key: Reish, associated with the Sun and the Heart Chakra, is the Hebrew Letter that best represents Air...it is the letter that starts the word for Holy Spirit and Breath...but it is also the word for Noise and Evil. As they say, there is a thin line between Love and Hate. I call the letter Kuf, associated with the Moon and The Third Eye Chakra, the Hebrew letter of Paradox. Here are the YouTube videos I made exploring: Reish: Kuf: Now that you are a bit more familiar with the connections it becomes clear why you have to purify both of these....and it also connects with the Hopi Prophecy Rock discussing the Two Hearts...as long as our hearts our divided between good and evil we cannot think straight....and as long as we continue to see the Moon or Third Eye Chakra as a paradox we're going to have very confused lives. The reconciling and purification of these two centers it is what creates a person of One Heart and One mind...it allows us to cultivate the Jewel in the Lotus. Proverbs Now, that we have shown that the Heart and Mind are one in many ways we can take a look at the context of what Solomon was saying in Proverbs. I will not quote the entire song but here is a link to the lyrics/passage: (https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Proverbs+16&version=NIV). There are two points in this song that I want to point out because we're looking to see the references to Silver and Gold: Proverbs 16:16 How much better to get wisdom than gold, to get insight rather than silver! This goes exactly along with Alchemy. The Moon, or Silver, is the Subconscious. The Sun, or Gold, is the Waking Consciousness. Here, Solomon is pointing out that the True Silver of Insight and True Gold of Wisdom are valuable! Later in Proverbs 17: 3: The crucible for silver and the furnace for gold, but the Lord tests the heart. A crucible is what is used to calcinate an item and it looks like this: Of course, most of us know that a furnace for heating metal looks like this... This tells us a bit of how we purify the Mind and the Heart. To release the essence of the Heart we have to follow the Alchemical process of Calciniation, Dissolution, Separation, Conjunction, Putrefaction, Distillation, and Coagulation. A few of these steps require physical fire...Calcination, Dissolution, Separation....eventually, however, when we reach Putrefaction the process starts to work on it's own. I use the example of making a compost in another blog that I will be posting in a couple of weeks. Once you add the hot mess of stuff in a compost pile, provided you have created a nice place for it (some people use buckets, some people just cover it with cardboard and still others make more elaborate containers) it heats upon on it's own at this point...and aside from an occasional stirring to make that everything putrefies evenly...Mother Nature does the rest. Since the alchemists relate this process entirely to the mind...I think it does make sense that the 7 steps of the Alchemical process involves purifying both the heart and Mind. Conclusion There are many times that there is a hint of Alchemy in the the Visions of the Bible. In many cases it's in the visions such as Ezekial's vision and Revelations (which is one big vision). The only reason Alchemy continues to be cast in the light of being 'forbidden' and not based on religious pricinpal's that can be connected to the the Bible (and actually make sense of them) is because the Catholic Church saw the practice as competition. However, it seems that the Alchemists were in many ways emulating the teachings of the bible. There is one more insight that I want to add here that I found very interesting. Alchemy is connected to a few traditions. The First word is Al which Arabic meaning "The" and Chemy on the other hand might come from different sources. One is the Kemet connection I made in my Introduction to Alchemy video () and the another is a Chinese word meaning, "Golden Juice." Interestingly, the Hebrew word for prophet, Navi, also means, "To Pour." Hmmm...makes you wonder what the Prophet's were pouring. I found this very interesting. The Hebrew Letters that make up the name of the Sephiroth of Geburah are:
Gimel, Beit, Vav, Reish and Hei. Let's take a look to see what hidden meanings in the name of this Sephiroth! Gimel Starts the word for camel- Gamul- which represents the ability to nourish others by abstaining from water for 30 days and bearing a burden. According to Abravanel this is reminiscent of our spiritual Journey. Begins the word for exile (galut), paradise (gan eden) and bridge (Gamla). Also begins the words for great (gadol), mighty (gibor) and courage (Gevurah). Finally, it starts the word for loving kindness (gamelet hasidim). Beit First letter used in the bible. Begins the word for blessing (Beracha). Begins the word for House (Bayit). Also the name of the holy temple (Beit Hmikdosh). The words for places of study (batei midrash), social gathering (batei knesset) and prayer (batei tefilah). Finally, it starts the words for daughter (bat) and son (ben). Vav Abravanel describes this letter as Yud with a straight line down from it. Vav starts the word for hook. Vav is tied to the Sabbath and the importance of rest. The Hebrew word for confession also starts with Vav. Reish Reish starts the Hebrew word for Will. Resh begins the words for both Holy Spirit and Breath. Resh also starts the words for healer and healing. Both Abravanel and Hoffman connect Resh with meditation. Meditation involves the breath because it is through our breathing and the discipline of meditation that we eventually master our breath. Resh also starts the word for head, evil and noise. This suggests that it is the breath that we can create 'wise head' as Abravanel calls it. Associated with Mars. Hei Used twice in the Tetragrammaton. Was the first letter of Abraham and Moses response to the Creator meaning Here I am (heenayni). Also starts the letter for soul bearing- Hitbodedut. Abravanel associates Hei to speech, the Month of Redemption known as Nisan and the Tribe of Judah from which the Messiah will descend. Summary A bridge (Gimel) of the house/place of study for the son and daughter (Beth) of rest (Vav) to heal their will (Resh) and reveal speech (Hei). Image Impression First, there is the letter of Gimel that looks to me like a candle on a plate. That's followed by both the flame and the plate becoming longer in the letter Beit. That's followed by Vav where the 'plate' falls away completely so that the letter looks like just a candle. That's followed by the flame becoming even bigger and the pillar of the candle shrinking for Reish....and finally there is Hei that looks like an open door. Conclusion Knowing the story of Adam Kadmon and the Purpose of Humanity (a link to that blog is on the right side bar menu) this word is perfect for this Sephiroth. In this word we can literally see how and why PMR (Physical Material Reality) was created. Geburah literally represents a bridge or constriction between the Creator and PMR. It even explains that reality was created as a house for the sons and daughters of humanity so that they could heal the problem of misusing their will power (mars energy). The misuse of the Will Power occurs when people use their will power to create only for themselves- not for all of humanity and the One Creator. Every time we undertake an endeavor we should ask ourselves, "Will this benefit all of humanity (and thereby the One Creator) or am I doing this solely for myself?" When we operate from that place of doing everything for the betterment of everyone we are working in Grace. When we operate from a place of selfish gain it 'misses the mark' or the 'goal' of PMR (sin). Now, this is one of those blog concepts that's been percolating in my brain for a long time. A very long time...over a year.
I kept having the same dream with the same image but I didn't get it. The image was of the sword in the stone and me pulling out the sword. The Sephiroth Geburah represents the Sword. Now, keep in mind I like the old Disney movie of the Sword in the Stone...but that's about the only depiction I've seen with an actual...sword in in the stone. I do have the Wisdom of Avalon Tarot set by Colette Baron-Reid...it's the first I ever bought for myself...and I do love the book series that started with the Mists of Avalon. Yet, none of these really explained the dream. One of the variants of the myth is that the lady of the Lake gives the Sword to King Arthur. Before I didn't have the symbolic components to explain what Lady Of The Lake The Lady of the Lake is the subconscious with all of it's emotions and underlying currents of feelings. In Kabbalah this is Binah. Anyone on the Seekers Path must first befriend the Lady of the Lake to proceed further. We have to face our fears...our repressed Shadow. Then she becomes friendly and she gives us the sword. The Sword The Sword is discernment...knowing good and evil. The Ego is a by product of accepting the sword of discernment...this is how the Sephiroth Geburah ties in with the legend of King Arthur. This is what caused the Fall form Grace of Humanity. The Fall into Sin...and the sin is simply missing the Mark...aiming for the wrong goals. From Rav Michael Laitman we learned that the goal that we are failing to achieve is the desire to receive to bestowal. Instead we receive for selfish reasons. Too often people buy things for themselves only to receive them...for themselves. They cultivate talents of creativity...only for themselves to profit off of and when people do try to share what they produced they sue. Legal proprietary laws are numerous and copyright laws are also numerous. People, in general, create with the primary purpose of profit...which is missing the mark. When we learn to create to bestowal...to create to share with others...the lesson is learned. Yes, we could probably profit off of it but we see other areas of our life prosper as a result...whereas greed usually results only in profit while other areas of life including personal relationships become stagnant. The Stone The Stone is the Cube of Space/Time/Saturn that we talked about when we discussed the Sephiroth of Tiphareth. You can find a link to that in the sidebar. That stone was created as a result of the 'fall.' We live in this little box of our own creation...it's from our conditioning and our fears. We think that little box can hide us from the One Creator and...the One Creator is more then happy to let us have that illusion as long as we need. As we will learn when we explore the Sephiroth of Chesed...this entire experience has helped us create our own individuality (which raises us above the angels in a way) but in order to restore communication with the One Creator we have to make the choice to restore the communication and let go of our fear of being 'naked' before him. Removing the Sword We remove the sword from the stone when we let go of discernment. When we realize that everything in Creation comes from the One Creator- both what we call Good and Evil. There is precedence of this in the bible: Isaiah 45:7: "I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the Lord do all these things." However, this does not validate that good and evil actually exist. Prior to eating of the Tree of Knowledge...we were not aware of the existence of darkness or light. In truth, along the Path of the Seeker we learn about Subjective Reality. You can watch my YouTube video on this subject here: Subjective Reality contains one fundamentally vital component we must realize in order to remove the Sword from the Stone and release ourselves from the bondage of Death and Rebirth. Everything in Creation...everything the One Creator and all the forms of the One Creator (from the Rays, to the Angels, to the lowliest bugs) uses to create...are FUNDAMENTALLY NEUTRAL. We only assign the value of Good or Evil to an object, situation, place or thing...AFTER WE ENCOUNTER IT. Prior to that encounter and our experience with it...which is all based on conditioned thinking patterns based on our past experiences... that person, place, experience or think...existed entirely in a neutral form. When we let go of naming things good or evil (a monumental task) we pull the sword from the stone... Then we become the King or Queen of the Kingdom of Malkuth. Each of us live within our own little reality bubble...our own Kingdom. Becoming the King or Queen of our own Kingdom does not imply dominion over others. To the contrary...as Yeshua said so perfectly...it makes you the servant of all because you realize how everyone that you encounter is also part of the One Creator...and that we are all One. We go from behaving as a Cancer Cell in the body of the One Creator to being the cell that contributes to the whole. Conclusion I know this seems like a very short blog. Perhaps, if you are hungry for more you should read more articles in these blogs and watch my series on the number 7. Either way, I am very content in finally understanding the purpose of those repetitive Sword in the stone Dreams. Discernment is something we do need to learn. Becoming a unique individual to speed up our Spiritual Development is not a horrible thing either and the Fall is the damning experience that the Catholic and Christian Church portrays. Earth is just a learning experience for our souls that helps us develop quickly so we can be interesting companions to the One Creator...not some sort of existential form of torture that we must endure as a form of punishment for our ancestors actions. I encourage you to explore this subject on your own. See if this interpretation holds true for you in your heart. Thank you Brave Soul for joining me on the Path of the Seeker! May you find joy and peace for your soul during our journeys! A Note On The Images I just want to point out some symbolism of the image from Disney's Sword In The Stone movie above and the image from Collette Baron Reid's The Wisdom of Avalon Oracle Card sets. First, above...notice anything about the hair color or the outfit that Arthur wears...well...check out the Fool Card. Yellow, we learned in our study of the Tarot, represents Air. Again, with the Fool Card, we knwo that Red represents Desire and Malkuth (Kingdom) our plane of existence (PMR- Physical Material Reality). Below we have the Lady of the Lake...the color of the card is Purple...the color of royalty. She emerges from the water with a pair of stones behind her. I think that the meanings associate with the card- Absolute Truth, Courage, Self-Respect, and Responsibility shows all that we gain through the experience of Discernment...or learning about Good and Evil. As Marcus Katz says...when we descended we were full of a naieve ignorant sort of love. As we ascend we have gained understanding of the One Creator...our love is deep and filled with respect. So again, the Earth experience is valuable on a soul level. This is not punishment...it's a lesson just as when a child puts their hand in the fire we don't sock them...we teach them why fire is dangerous. Then they have respect for the fire.
As you listen to the sound meditation concentrate on the Hebrew letter.
When the sound meditation ends get out your journal and write down any thoughts, impressions or ideas that came into your mind no matter how odd. |
